  Jean is absolutely amazing. I had absolutely no idea what I wanted going into wedding planning, and she was such a huge help. Not only did she work miracles with the flowers and decor, she also gave great advice about the wedding in general. It's like she read my mind and somehow created exactly what I wanted. She was very responsive with all of my crazy emails and made me feel very comfortable about everything. Everyone commented on how beautiful the flowers were and they look stunning in all of the photos from the day. They fit perfectly with the vision I had in my mind for our wedding. I would definitely recommend Jean to anyone looking for a florist.

  Jean is simply amazing. I was overwhelmed by what decorations would look like and all the ideas I had from pinterest and we were able to sit with her and really hammer out the details without any stress. She took our vision for flowers and centerpieces and really made them a reality. Most important, she helped us stay on budget and still get the look we wanted. She suggested places we could save and places we should spend. Truly amazing at what she does.

  I can't say enough great things about my wedding flowers. We got so many compliments on my bouquet, the bridesmaids and all of the reception flowers. Jean was a pleasure to work with and was always very friendly, upbeat and excited to be helping you put your wedding plans into action. She was willing to work with us to stay within our budget but not sacrifice the ideas that I had. She went above and beyond to understand the full theme and decor of our wedding and made sure everything flowed together nicely. The day of our wedding she was very accommodating and made several deliveries to ensure we weren't inconvenienced and everything was delivered on time! It was fun to share that wedding morning with her as we had been working on these ideas together all year. I would definitely recommend Jean for our flowers if you are in the Galena area.

  Jean from Garden Party was super helpful and very professional! She listened to what I said and really tuned in to deliver the best and beautiful centerpieces and bouquets! I was super satisfied with the end result! She even came to my house to deliver the flowers herself which saved us tons of time and stress! Definitely would recommend to others!

  By far the most fun and creative person to work with. I had an idea that she had never even seen before, and she created it for me. It was beyond my expectations. She was so easy to work with, and she definitely made the day even more beautiful and stress free.

  We found Jean to be very organized, professional, and knowledgeable. Everything she made for us was gorgeous and on time. She also knows a lot about the Galena area and had worked with our event planner at our venue which made the whole event run that much more smoothly.

  Garden Party Florist was BY FAR my absolute favorite vendor to work with! Jean is so so talented and has incredible taste. I trusted her completely with my vision and she delivered above and beyond my expectations. I had requested a floral crown to be worn with my dress and had only given her an idea of how I wanted it to look... I wish I could upload photos because it was so beautiful- I recieved so many compliments on it all night! Not only did Jean do a spectacular job with the flowers, she had some really great ideas for the rest of our decor (table numbers, linens, etc.). I seriously cannot put into words how wpnderful Jean is... If you are getting married in the JoDavies County area, garden Party Florist is a no brainer!! You will not be dissappointed!

  Jean at Garden Party was absolutely amazing!! She suggested ideas and alternatives, trying to help find a balance between my and my mom's opinions. She was so friendly and helpful throughout the whole process, going above and beyond with the little things (flower girl basket and hair clip just days before). Everything was just beautiful as well!

  From the moment I met Jean we had a great connection. She truly put what I had tried to put in words to the most beautiful arrangements!! The creativity was awesome. Again tons of compliments. Used hasta leaves even from my mother in law's garden. If your getting married in the Galena area you need to call Garden Party Florist.

  I LOVED MY FLOWERS! Getting married in Galena, it becomes a little difficult to find a good florist out there but Jean was AMAZING! She was so incredibly patient with me and my constant emails I sent to her and the multiple times I changed my minds and my ideas. She helped me work through concepts and to help work within a price I could handle. My flowers were a dream. My bouquet was amazing, as green and bright as I wanted. And the centerpieces, a unique concept that she completly brought to life! I wish they would have lived forever, they were beautiful, thank you!
  
  And on top of it, the day we were all driving from Chicago to Galena, the Thursday before my Saturday wedding, Galena had a terrible storm and she called early that morning to warn me and let me know roads were closed and to be careful. It was so considerat! Thank you Jean!

  I cannot find words to describe how much I loved my flowers for my wedding. Even my husband (who doesn’t have any interest in flowers) still comments how much he loved the flowers at our wedding, especially the tall ceremony pieces (in lieu of an arch). I am obsessed with my bouquet. I even dried it out and have it in a vase in my bedroom so I can always look at it. For my wedding, I was going for a green, natural, rustic look and Jean went above and beyond my expectations. I had met with Jean and given her photos of flowers I liked and she made the photos look bad. There were flowers/plants in the photos I liked that her wholesaler didn’t have, so she grew them in her yard herself! What other florist does that? Even after our initial meeting I saw more flowers I liked online, emailed those photos to Jean, and she was able to include them in many of the pieces she made. I highly recommend Jean at Garden Party Florist to any bride getting married in the Galena area! Thanks Jean for making my wedding day so special and unique! I’m still getting comments from guests about how beautiful everything was.

I used sunflowers for my outdoor august wedding and she had absoutly wonderful ideas that were unique and stunning. She worked within any budget and was very affordable. She spent countless hours working on designs, and reassuring me along with the other growing pains of my wedding. She was wonderful in recommending other vendors to work for. She even offered and called vendors I was having trouble with to help me make things work.   I love Jean. Seriously. She spends so much time with you to develop your tastes and has wonderful ideas. She is so friendly, funny, and professional. I loved my flowers, and they were so reasonably priced. GREAT!!

The only down fall is that the business isn't up on technology very well.
