We cannot imagine going with another florist, you will not regret going with Anne. We spoke to multiple florists at the beginning of the process. Anne was very personable while also professional. The top 3 differentiators was her visual pricing, sustainable practices, and communication.
Anne put together a slideshow in our color palate with visuals of what each price point looks like translated into a bouquet, cake topper, etc. which was awesome. She also provided a budget template which was very helpful. Both of these services combined made the planning process seamless for planning and staying in our budget. We knew exactly what we were getting and Anne was great at asking clarifying questions to make sure she understood what we wanted.
She also uses sustainable gardening and arranging methods. She grew the most beautiful dahlias for our fall wedding, and got us out of season flowers as well. This was especially unique that we didn't see in any other florist.
Anne responded very fast to our requests, and even last minute changes. She also provided invaluable advice and insight through every step of the process. Everything turned out even better than we could have imagined. She is extremely talented and passionate and it definitely shows. All our guests commented on how amazing the florals were. If we were to do it all again, we would go with Garden and Roads in a heartbeat! -

Cascading wildness, plus professional and practical
Over the course of several calls and emails, Anne worked with us to figure out what we liked and how much we wanted to spend on our wedding florals. We settled on a cascading style with lots of wildflowers, interesting colors, and varied textures. She even gave us some great ideas to save money on flowers but still have both a beautiful service and reception - she is someone who really wants the best for her customers and goes the extra mile to help you organize your own thoughts and desires, and balance all your competing wedding demands. Most importantly, we absolutely loved our florals. They were unique and very us, and every wedding we go to now we will look at each other and say- these are nice, but ours were amazing! It's not every day you meet a florist who is a thoughtful person, helps you think about the practical things, and creates beautiful arrangements for you to enjoy. Thank you Anne! -

Anne was amazing. I found her pricing to be very reasonable and she really worked with our budget and helped us achieve our vision without breaking the bank. She’s also extremely transparent about pricing for each item, which we really appreciated. In the end, I absolutely loved our florals and the whole process was very smooth. She even grew all of the dahlias in our arrangements herself, which just felt so special. -

We absolutely LOVED working with Anne for our spring wedding! From our very first phone call, Anne was professional, understanding, and flexible. She created a beautiful arch for our ceremony at the Old South Church that added the perfect touch to the historic venue (she told us it was her first time making an arch of this type- and can you believe the result?!). We leaned heavily into the literary theme for our reception held at the Boston Athenaeum, and the floral arrangements Anne created fit the elegant vintage ambience perfectly. We had several consultation calls before the wedding with slide decks that Anne prepared so that we could all be on the same page and share ideas in real time. Boston weddings are $$$, and we especially appreciated how receptive Anne was to repurposing florals from the ceremony to reception. We felt that she was on our side at every stage, prioritizing the aspects of florals that were most important to us. We preserved the bridal bouquet in resin (through another independent shop) and can now admire our flowers from our wedding day every time we place our rings on the ring holders and pick out a book from our shelf. We wholeheartedly recommend working with Anne for your wedding! -

We LOVED the flower arrangements that Anne created for our daughter’s wedding. The bouquets were so beautiful as were the centerpieces. The bright colors of the bouquets really popped and worked so well with the red of the bridesmaids’ dresses. I particularly loved the pincushion protea (one of my favorite flowers)! Thank you as well for your close attention to detail throughout the planning process and for your flexibility as we realized the museum set up would not accommodate the ceremony flowers we had hoped to do. Ditto with switching from petals for the flower girls to the miniature bouquets for them. BTW, everyone loved their delicate flower crowns! It was such a pleasure to work with Anne! A true professional and flower artist!

Amazing Flowers!
Anne was wonderful to work with! A great eye for detail and color and easy to communicate with. I connected with Anne to help with my sister's wedding flower arrangement, cake toppers and center pieces for each table. Not only were Anne's bouquets beautiful I signed up to receive spring/ summer flower bouquets delivered to my home on a 5-6 week basis and it did not disappoint! Who doesn't love getting flowers! Anne at Garden & Roads was fantastic to work with. She is super organized, and her ideas slide show gave us great options and ideas to work with. She was open to our ideas and helped us narrow down what we wanted in our wedding florals. Her budget spreadsheet was easy to use and let us see what we could have for what we could spend. I loved that she is local and uses sustainable methods in growing and procuring the flowers. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous. I highly recommend her and would use her again! -

We cannot recommend Garden and Roads enough! We already saw Anne’s stunning florals at a friend’s wedding, and once we were engaged, that friend told us that we needed to at least talk to Anne because she was the best. Our friend was right! Anne was so great to work with - her planning slide deck made it easy to exchange ideas between planning calls, and her budget sheets allowed us to visually play with different ideas for our florals while clearly staying within our budget. We ultimately got so much more than we even expected! She also really got to know us and made the florals really “fit” us. We are triathletes, so she incorporated these sport ID bands into our moms’ corsages, and we love craft beer, so she incorporated her home grown hops into the boutonnières and table centerpieces, which we saved and will put into a wedding brew! We got so many compliments on our florals, especially from our photographer, which I think is the ultimate stamp of approval! We love to support a local business, and Anne takes it a step further by growing a lot of flowers in her own yard in Medford, and sourcing the rest from other local flower shops. Don’t hesitate to book with Garden and Roads! -

Anne is a superstar. Our wedding day was flawless, and all of our florals were otherworldly. The entire process was easy and painless, Anne did a wonderful job of setting up a gameplan, helped us pick appropriate flowers, and make sure we were stress free on our day. As the groom I had a special request of a pocket boutonniere for my tuxedo and Anne did AMAZING!! Overall I could not recommend Gardens and Roads enough, 11/10 Stars, all the praise in the world!!!

Of all of the vendors we worked with, Garden and Roads was easily one of our best experiences. If you're a data nerd like I am, the way Anne presents high and low price points was an absolute delight, and made it so easy to see how changes in price points for certain items would impact our total and allowed us to stay within budget. The PowerPoints she makes are a great visual reference, especially for my husband who's not great at visualization (and neither of us know a lot of flower names). Anne really understood the vision we had for lots of bold, bright colors and when we brought her some non-traditional ideas (incorporating feathers into my bouquet, using fans with flowers for the bridesmaids, etc.) she leaned in and figured out a way to make it all work and come together. On the day she was a great help with last minute fixes and adjustments, and was someone I trusted completely to give free reign to make it fit the vision. I had absolutely no stress with Garden and Roads, and I would not hesitate to recommend them wholeheartedly for anyone needing a florist in the Boston area. -

Dream flowers for our wedding!
We were so impressed by Gardens and Roads and feel so lucky to have found them! Our flowers turned out absolutely gorgeous and exactly as I had pictured. Anne was super easy and pleasant to work with. I went in not having much of a vision and Anne was patient and helpful in guiding me through the process and helping me make decisions, all while being knowledgable and transparent about pricing. She made the planning process seamless, as she is organized with detailed spreadsheets that made planning stress-free and easy. Highly recommend Garden and Roads!
Working with Garden and Roads for our wedding was a delight. From the beginning, we knew we wanted something a little different - and Anne helped us determine what would work best. She listened to our thoughts without judgement which mattered a lot to us. From early planning stages she was responsive and transparent, and communication was clear. We especially loved how organized she was, sharing slides and spreadsheets laying out expectations and pricing ahead of time. She found beautifully colored and playfully textured blooms and greens, and put together some awesome flower crowns that we wore for the full day. We also dedicated part of our ceremony to honoring our parents, and she created the perfect little floral arrangements for them. On the day of, Garden and Roads delivered our personal flowers ahead of time so that we could have them in our pre-ceremony photos, and helped set up all the centerpieces and candles at the venue for us. Finally, we were very pleased that she prioritizes locally grown flowers and eschews floral foam. We are glad that we now have a local florist we can go to for any of our floral needs, and would absolutely recommend Garden and Roads to anyone planning a wedding (or otherwise!) -

Anne was wonderful to work with!
My wedding flowers were absolutely perfect! I wanted bright florals that reflected our non-traditional, fun vibe at Night Shift Brewery. Even though it was October, I didn’t want Fall themed florals and Anne got it right. I loved my bouquet and the simplicity of the loose flowers in the growlers. And I love that the flowers are locally grown by people who clearly love what they do. Anne was wonderful throughout this process— attentive, thoughtful and very calming during a stressful time. Anne did an incredible job on the flowers for our wedding on 10/14/23! I went into the process not exactly knowing a clear vision for the day and Anne helped me refine and decide on florals that were perfect for our wedding. From our ceremony florals on the gazebo to the beautiful bouquets she put together, every floral arrangement was gorgeous and just what I wanted. Anne was AMAZING! I use to live and Medford and order her bouquets and arrangements that use locally grown flowers (some that even come from their own gardens). I was always blown away by her work. It was a no brainer to have her create all the florals for our wedding. Anne took the time to speak to me on the phone (even while on vacation!) to figure out my vision. She also asked me to send some photos of flowers I liked. From there she created a slide show of colors, bouquet and arrangement ideas, and included price points. Could not have been happier with our florals!
Anne was our florist for our July 2022 wedding, and we could not have been happier with our florals and working with Anne. She was super responsive, detail oriented, very friendly, and she had the best vision for our floral arrangements. She put together a PowerPoint presentation to create a vision for the wedding day, and that was incredibly helpful to see everything in that way. Additionally, she also sent us an excel spreadsheet with all the pricing, and we really appreciated her transparency throughout the whole process. We definitely felt that we got our money's worth with our flowers, and she did a really great job creating beautiful combinations of flowers within both our budget and color scheme. We loved that she utilized flowers in season to the extent possible, and she was very flexible in executing our ideas. Our floral arrangements came out better than we ever expected, and we've received countless compliments on how beautiful they turned out. Working with Anne was such a wonderful experience! We had an intimate wedding—just 33 guests—and Anne was able to work within our budget to make everything beautiful. Anne from Garden and Roads was an absolute delight to work with, every step of the way. From the beginning planning stages, Anne used a power point slideshow to helped us envision our dream wedding, and she used an EXTREMELY organized sharable Excel document to help get within our budget. I'm an accountant, so I use Excel every day, and I was extremely impressed with how easy to follow, and manageable, Anne's budget sheet was. It really helped us know where the money was going towards (table decor, ceremony decor, bouquets, etc.), and where we could save money here and there.
Anne was also extremely professional and down to earth, which made the whole process (planning, communicating, making last minute changes, etc.) easier.
And last but certainly not least, Anne's flowers and floral arrangements knocked it out of the park for us. My wife found pictures online that she sent to Anne for how she wanted everything to look. not only did Anne perfectly execute it, but her flowers were bursting and vibrant, which made our wedding look even better than the "vision" pictures!!!
Anne, every step of the way we were so thankful that we chose you as our wedding florist. Thank you a million times over. Your arrangements will be in our pictures forever, and we couldn't be happier. -

Look no further brides!
I had the best experience creating the wedding florals of my dreams with Anne from Garden and Roads! We communicated via phone/email the entire time and she was always transparent with me regarding pricing, seasonal flowers, etc. There were many times Anne would ask me questions that made me go “oh, I didn’t think of that,” which goes to show how detail oriented she is! She executed everything so beautifully and I truly can’t get over what a pleasure it was working with Anne. I would 100% recommend Garden and Roads to my family and friends looking for floral arrangements for any occasion (especially for weddings!) and I hope to work with Anne again for future events! -

Anne at Garden and Roads was a joy to work with! Out of all of the florists I had reached out to, Anne was the most put together and prepared. Our first conversation over the phone included a proposal presentation that she had emailed to me to guide our discussion. All of her information was laid out very clearly and her budget spreadsheet made it apparent where we were spending our money and where we could achieve some savings. She handled our discussions via phone and email professionally. Just little things such as including an out of office auto email when she had a weekend packed with other weddings was thoughtful and let me know that she wasn’t ghosting me. She genuinely tried to ensure we were meeting our budget. Like most of the brides I know, I did not have a lot of background with florals and didn’t really know what I wanted, but Anne was extremely easy and helpful to work with. It felt like she really cared about making my day special. Our wedding was very unique as it was a traditional south Indian wedding and although she didn’t have experience with weddings of this sort, she had done her homework beforehand and offered many ideas that I myself had not thought of.
The florals were exactly what I was envisioning. The colors matched the decor and outfits so flawlessly. Anne was able to get set up without any input from us on the day of and everything went seamlessly. We could not have asked for a better floral service. -

Anne was, without a doubt, one of the most special vendors we could have ever found. Her warmth, her artistic talent, her professionalism - her FLOWERS! Anne and I had numerous meetings before the big day as we postponed and rescheduled over the course of 2020. Anne was a calming, friendly presence in what could've been an incredibly stressful time. She *completely* understood the look I was hoping for in our florals, and went above and beyond. As I tried to describe romantic woodland in autumn jewel tones, she found MUSHROOMS to add to our displays! Mushrooms! And fern fronds! And mosses galore! Wonderful Experience!
By chance, I happened to meet Anne when she was setting up for a wedding that morning, and I had finished a tour of the venue. From the very beginning, she was always friendly and professional. I appreciated how she answered my questions within a timely manner and how she helped put together a vision for my wedding flowers within our budget and color theme. When we had to move our original wedding date due to COVID, she was very understanding and accommodated our new date without any issues. Anne is organized, knowledgeable, and wonderful to work with. I was blown away by how beautiful the flowers turned out! I knew there was a potential some colors may not be easy to find for the season, but I was so delighted to find that she was able to find them after all. I really thank her for being so patient with me throughout the whole process when I was bouncing ideas and changed the flowers a few times after touching base with family members. Gorgeous flowers and excellent customer service
Anne from Garden and Roads was an amazing florist! Our guests couldn't stop complimenting our flowers, and I loved my bouquet so much that I refused to put it down except when eating and dancing. Anne can do a variety of styles, but I wanted a look that was more "wild" and "organic" than what I had seen her do for other weddings. She totally delivered! I could not have been more pleased.
I also wanted to do DIY the centerpieces for guests tables. Some florists I interviewed laughed at me, but Anne said no problem as long as I understood the work involved and was committed. She helped me source the flowers and did a demonstration for my family and bridesmaids helping me on how to make a beautiful centerpiece. It was a lot of fun, and guests were thrilled to take them home at the end of the night. I don't think anyone suspected that it was a DIY job.
Anne was very organized and communicative. It was truly a pleasure to work with her, and I highly recommend her! -

Anne is a joy to work with and her designs are simply wonderful. Even on a budget, she provided us with a truly professional service that was all we could hope for and more. Perfect Elopement Bouquet
I spoke with Anne less than 2 weeks before my elopement and explained what I was looking for. She offered suggestions and had me send her a picture of my dress. The bouquet she created was so perfect and beautiful. It was everything I wanted, and she delivered it, along with boutonnieres and roses for our parents) on the morning of our wedding! A wonderful experience and gorgeous flowers. -

I ordered a bridal bouquet from Anne for my small outdoor wedding in mid-March. The results were amazing! I don’t know very much about flowers but Anne was patient and gave me suggestions. Best decision we made!
Anne was an absolute joy to work with. I cannot say enough good things about her or her company. She made our floral planning delightful. She is a wealth of knowledge about all things flowers and she took her time to explain everything to me. She was incredibly patient, kind, and SO flexible. I must have changed things 15 times and each time she was so sweet about my indecisiveness. Her prices are incredibly fair and she was more than willing to work with our budget. The flowers the day of were absolutely stunning! Every single person commented on how gorgeous they were, even the wedding coordinator at our venue couldn't believe how stunning the arrangements were! All flowers are locally sourced and she grows a good amount of them herself, which is even more impressive. Choosing Garden and Roads was easily the best decision that we made on our wedding day. The most amazing and personal wedding flower experience!
Anne is an artist and professional through and through! When our friends and family comment on our wedding - the first thing the mention is how breathtaking the flowers were.
From our first conversation, Anne asked great questions and took detailed notes to make sure she understood the look we were going for with our wedding flowers. Her pricing was transparent and she helped us maximize our budget. Prior to finalizing the bouquets and arrangements, Anne sent us a video to make sure we were happy with the palette.

Amazing talent!
Anne is amazing! She is so professional, kind and unbelievably talented. We had a winter wedding so planned to keep our flowers fairly minimal and simple. Anne created absolutely stunning bouquets and boutonnieres made of white roses and seasonal greenery. An amazing florist and person!
Anne is a truly talented, amazing florist and person! My fiancé and I were blown away by the gorgeous floral arrangements Anne created for our wedding in December 2019. Anne was so attentive and really took the time to understand the vision I had for my bouquet, ceremony and centerpieces for our reception. I was so beyond happy with how everything turned out- days after our wedding I was still raving about how beautiful my flowers were!!!! My fiancé and I cannot recommend Anne enough. Anne provided such breathtaking flowers for our wedding. Everyone was raving about my bouquet and the centerpieces! Anne was able to create floral arrangements that felt very me and the vibe of what I wanted for my wedding. She was able to work with me on what I was drawn to, the colors of my wedding (and even small details like bridesmaid dress colors and details of the venue), and my budget. After our first few conversations, Anne provided a comprehensive proposal with visuals of what the flowers would look like and a suggested budget. She was responsive, flexible, knowledgable, and incredibly kind. Highly recommend!!! -

Truly Amazing!
I really can't say enough about our experience with Anne at Garden & Roads! From our first meeting I felt at ease and confident that she would bring our wedding vision to life- and she did not disappoint! Fantastic flowers and service
Anne did such an amazing job with the flowers for our wedding, she really made our vision come to life. She provided the bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, table centerpieces and arrangements for the ceremony arch. She did it all keeping our vision in mind but also with her years of experience and floral artistry. The fact that some of the flowers came from her own garden, and the rest from local environmental conscious florists was an awesome bonus. -

Beautiful Arrangements
Our wedding photographer recommended Garden & Roads after a previous florist would not stopped returning messages. We are so glad to have gotten the recommendation! Anne did a great job. She agreed to help us even though it was a last-minute request, and the flowers were beautiful. We picked flowers from her excellent website, and they were just as described when they arrived. I'm convinced we chose the best floral vendor for our wedding in New England. Anne was simply amazing to work with. She is thoughtful, detailed, professional, and super sweet. She never once made me feel pressured into spending more for flowers and instead worked with our budget while nailing the exact look I wanted for my florals. We had a few long phone calls where she went over every single detail for every bouquet and boutonniere. She took great care to get the exact colors and bouquet shape I wanted which meant a lot to me. She clarified the greens I wanted down to the shade and made sure she got a well-rounded idea of what I wanted using visuals. She personally created a slideshow that gave me an idea of what my flowers would look like and answered any questions I had. I truly appreciated how specific she was during the planning process because I can be pretty picky. She carefully tailored my wishes to my budget and told me exactly what I would receive. The day of, I was smitten with my bridal bouquet. I am so happy I got to work with Anne. She is a true professional and made our floral arch, memorial table, and wedding overall beautiful and so memorable. -

Great Experience!
We had a fantastic experience working with Anne for our wedding flowers. Anne was always extremely professional and organized; she has a great system in place to share ideas and is up front about costs to set clear expectations. As with many weddings during 2020, our plans were constantly evolving. Anne was generous with her time and flexible to meet our needs, and seamlessly coordinated all of our day-of deliveries.
