Chatelle and Jill are absolutely amazing!!!! They were so amazing to work with and the space is absolutely breathtaking! Far Exceeded Our Expectations for Our Dream Wedding!

We cant say enough good things about Gala. From the first time we took a tour of the facility and met Shatelle and the team, we were sold! Gala made the process so extremely easy for us, stayed in contact and answered all our questions, and made sure we knew what to expect during each phase of planning. Even when we had a small hiccup days leading up to the wedding regarding weather, Shatelle was on it with a recommendation for a solution. We couldn’t be happier; having our wedding at Gala Events allowed us to be able to have the wedding of our dreams! We highly recommend!

The best place to have our happily ever after - Rwaka wedding 5/6/22

When I got engaged back in February 2021, I had no idea where to start or where to go when deciding on a place to get married. All I knew was that my then-fiance wanted to have our ceremony outside, and I just wanted it to be nice and budget-friendly. After googling a few places in Marietta, I come across the Gala Events Facility. In March, my mom and I go visit, and the first thing I say is, "The pictures do this place no justice." Taking the property tour and meeting with Chatelle (Event Coordinator) for the first time, I knew it was the place for me, but I had to consider other options because I didn't want to fall in love with the first place I saw. Understandably, Chatelle allowed me to look and see what else was out there, and as we parted, she confidently said, "You'll be back."

And she was right! By the beginning of April, I had signed the contract, made the down payment to hold my date, and the rest was history. One of the fantastic things that the Gala offered was that it didn't require payment plans. In our finalization meeting, my fiance and I made our final payment 30 days before the wedding. That helped us tremendously pay off our balance and make our day as stress-free as possible.

We honestly had the dream team working with us for our wedding. Jill served as our officiant/second coordinator. She was very easy to talk to, organized, and went above and beyond for our needs. She even helped us when we forgot to set up the seating chart and printed the names for us. She also helped us with our vows, providing pre-written templates.

Joshua provided our wedding cake, and it was the best cake I've ever tasted! He eloquently made our vision come true with the cake design we had in mind. Oakley and Cayden (Oakley's Provisions) served as our caters. They were so kind and offered so much for our first tasting. Teri (The European Garden) provided flowers for my bouquet, mini bouquets for my bridesmaids, boutonnieres, and corsages for the MOB and MOG. She took my Pinterest inspo and turned it into something magical. She is such a sweetheart and highly knowable about floral arrangements.

Tina (TMH Events) was our photographer. She was such a beautiful and kind spirit and did our engagement photos. We were truly taken care of in her hands, and we gave her complete creative control of what poses and backgrounds looked best for us.

Chatelle is amazing at what she does. She is the epitome of customer satisfaction, and we thoroughly enjoyed working with her. If we decided to go another direction with a vendor or needed suggestions on how much alcohol to buy for our guests, she had an answer. She was always available through call, text, and email to answer our questions. She even provided outside decoration and table linens. My heart was so full when she said she'd make sure our day was perfect, she really overdelivered. We couldn't have it any other way!

A blessing of a venue!

We came across this little jewel of a venue when my Maid of Honor sent me a link. Gala Events Facility met all our requirements. It was a local, reasonably priced, all-inclusive venue, that eliminated the need for a day of wedding coordinator. And most importantly, it kept us in range of a $10,000 budget.

When I walked in the venue, the first thing I noticed was it's charm. It was bright and beautiful with a variety of table decor present. At the time I met with Misty (no longer with them) and instantly liked her. Within a short time we got an estimate, paid the deposit and they preceded to set us up with a variety of vendors to sample and enjoy. It took a lot of stress off. There were a few vendors we located on our own, such as our officiant, photographer and videographer, and DJ, but we were very happy with the variety of vendor selections they provided.

We had to delay our wedding a few times due to the pandemic, but everyone was willing to work with us, from Pam, to Connie to Chantel. When an issue arose with our DJ, Chantel assisted immediately and had a new contact/replacement for us within 30 minutes of notification, which was also in the evening, well after normal business hours but she still answered. God bless you.

The day of, was flawless. We never had so much fun. We didn’t need to worry about a single thing. Jill, our DOC (who doubles as an officiant so she could have married us if an emergency arose), also did cake design in her past life and made our wedding cake look amazing with the accessory flowers. She was sweet but firm as she keep us on track, feed and happy. In fact, all these ladies have multitude of talents in their backgrounds that allow them to provide assistance in any area as necessary.

Gala Events Facility. Best decision ever. Best wedding ever, best vendor ever. Truly a blessing on a budget.

One Stop Perfection

This is a beautiful venue, and it was perfect for my wedding. Chatelle and Jill worked tirelessly to make sure my event was perfect. The price is affordable, and they put you in touch with everything you need from caterers (Adriane's is the bomb) to the dj (he came to the rescue after my original dj couldn't perform and rocked my wedding & reception)and cake (Joshua created the exact cake I wanted, and it tasted HEAVENLY) and photographers. I definitely recommend checking Gala out for your event! They helped to make my wedding a perfect night that we wont forget.

Best Wedding day EVER!!!!!

I got married May, 8th 2021 at Gala. I could write a book from start to finish about how amazing and beautiful this venue is, but it would take all day. The staff was beyond amazing and helpful. My day of coordinator Chantel was AWESOME and I had another lady, but I can’t remember her name, sorry. The day of my wedding the staff kept everything in order. My wedding day was so much more than what I expected. I promise you, I was told that I wouldn’t have to worry about anything and they kept their word! Misty, Pam and Connie the whole staff made sure everything was taken care of from the moment I visited the venue. Please, please use all their vendors, you will not regret it! I looked around at other venues in the Atlanta area and no one could match the price, value and friendliness, just everything. I wouldn’t recommend you to go anywhere else, but here!

A Dream Place for a Dream Wedding

Our wedding was 5/28/2021 and it was absolutely amazing! The planning process was seamless and the ladies of Gala answered all the of the questions we had and were so incredibly patient. Jill, our hostess for our wedding is a real life super hero, she literally saved our day! Jill willingly became our officiant when our original officiant did not show up, we are incredibly grateful for her! Jills's calming spirit was a breath of fresh air when everything seemed to be going wrong, between the rain, running late and no officiant she made it happen and all with a smile in her face. Jill was extremely helpful the rest of the night.. Jill went above and beyond and added ideas and personal touches. Just when we thought Jill couldn't do enough, she meet up with me a week later to resign our marriage license, because our original was lost in the rain the night of the wedding! We would recommend Gala to anyone looking for a great venue with real people that CARE about your day!

An Affair to Remember -- A 1920s Harlem Renaissance Wedding

When we first happened upon Gala Events we took one look and said, ”This is the place!” From the very first meeting with Misti, to our wedding day on May 1st, we experience nothing but first class service. Our original wedding date was August 22, 2020, but we had to reschedule due to the pandemic. Misti answered all of our questions and reassured us that she would get us rebooked with no problem. After we set our date, Connie, took over as coordinator and helped us design the decor to compliment our 1920s Harlem Renaissance theme. The table decor, the centerpieces, and our personal touches were put together to make our dream come to life.

Weddings can sometimes be stressful, but any question we had was quickly answered with no problem. We worked with several of their vendors for the cake, catering and floral design. Not many can say that they remember how delicious the wedding cake and food tasted or how unique the flowers were, but our guests are still raving about their experience.

Connie and her team made our day one-of-a-kind. We had special requests, such as boxes of personalized decorations and wedding signs. I handed it all over the day before the wedding, and it was like Connie read our minds and knew exactly what to do and what went where. Little touches, like making sure a special meal was prepared for us to have after the wedding, setting up a special table outside for our cigar bar, and coaching us through our cake tasting and toasts is what made us have a 5-star experience.

Other factors that went a long way in helping us work with Gala was that the cost was very reasonable and we were able to provide our own alcohol. They also worked well with our personal outside vendors.

You only get one day, one chance to make something special happen. Gala delivered on all levels. We are excited to start our lives together, and it all began at Gala.

Best night of my life!!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Gala, abd it was the best decision ever! The price was incredibly reasonable, especially for all that was included. The coordinator was fantastic, and made our night seamless. All in all, I would definitely recommend this venue!!!!

Amazing Experience - Gala

We were frantic when we found out that we were unable to use our planned location for our son's Bar Mtizvah. We located Gala and they were beyond a saving grace. They went above and beyond to ensure that our experience was perfect. From working with our personal providers to making accommodations to make the event spectacular, Gala was there to support us and make it happen. I highly recommend them not only for the updated and beautiful location but for their customer service as well.

Intimate and Beautiful Venue!

Meeting Misty and Connie was a big weight lifted off our shoulders for our wedding venue. These ladies are amazing and the location is beautiful. When I say they take care of everything , they really do. Connie was our day-of coordinator and she did a wonderful job. Both ladies kept the lines of communication open and answered all our questions before our wedding, and during the entire wedding everything went smoothly. Connie coordinated with our vendors and we could not have been more pleased. The location is beautiful and clean. I like the out door option for the ceremony. Everything went smooth.

Beautiful from start to finish

I booked my wedding at The Gala after first attending one there. I fell in love with it instantly. I love the outside garden area, it’s beautiful and intimate! Then the inside is also beautiful and quite spacious, we only have a 90
Guest count and it was more than enough space. But the inside is already so beautiful and has its own ambiance minimal decoration at this venue still works! It’s extremely affordable and they offer great all-inclusive packages. The staff overall was friendly and responsive. I mostly corresponded with Misty, and later worked with the coordinator Connie whom was also great. It’s been a year now since I wed here and I’m sure so much has changed! I brought my own Gem with me, my personal coordinator Chatelle. She was the ANGEL of the night!! She was everything I needed as a bride and I had no stress with her calling the shots! Her talents, style, and grace stood out so much so that she was hired at The Gala the night of my wedding! She’s a visionary and gives the best bridal ‘gitters be gone’ massages lol she kept my husband and I connected throughout our planning process and helped us to realize more than any detail of our wedding that our love and relationship is the #1 priority!! Our wedding was beautiful and the Gala is in amazing hands with Chatelle. I almost wish to do it all over again!

Oliver wedding

This was an amazing day and a huge part of it was our coordinator Chatel. I can't image what the day would have been without her. The venue was beautiful and Chatel made sure that my wife and I didn't have to lift a finger. Im happy with how everything turned out. Wedding Experience - The Gala Events Marietta

Our experience at Gala Events was superb. From the initial meeting to the planning and the day of the wedding was a wonderful experience. Gala Events came through for us. We had weeks to plan our wedding. Their recommendation from memorable ceremony outside, the delicious food, the beautiful flowers, to the photographer was AMAZING!!!!!!!!. We did not have to worry about anything. The hall was beautifully decorated. I was treated like a queen on my wedding day by the personal coordinator Chatelle. She took care of our every need. Everything flowed smoothly. I would recommend Gala Events to anyone. Misty, Connie, Pam and Chatelle you are definitely walking in your purpose.

50th Birthday Party

Gala provided a great venue for 80-90 guests for a party. Service and coordination was excellent. Kept me on track as I planned party from Another state. Place was clean, staff was available and on time. Things flowed perfectly.
We did not use the outside space but it is delightful.

My Dream Wedding

The wonderful ladies who work at Gala Events made my dream wedding come true! It was more beautiful that I could have ever imagined! Almost 4 weeks after the event I still have friends and family commenting on how wonderful it was. Everyone had an amazing time. I would recommend Gala Events Facility to everyone and anyone who is looking for a location to hold a wedding reception! I would give them more than 5 stars if I could!!! Cannot recommend them enough! From the planning stages to the big day itself, every little detail was taken care of. One of the event coordinators even worked very hard for us on her birthday! I will miss working with the three wonderful ladies at Gala Events.

I live in Texas and had my wedding in Georgia. They ensured me because I stayed out of state they would make sure everything was perfect and it was. It was the most beautiful day ever. Down to the wonderful staff that made sure everything was perfect.

Intimate and Wonderful location

Our wedding experience with Gala Events facility was amazing. Our special day went off without a hitch. Connie and our personal friend Christy worked together to make sure my daughter's wedding/reception was everything she wanted and more. Connie, Pam, and Misty listened to what my daughters and I wanted and worked with us on every level. We brought in our own catering and Connie was very pleasant with them. I really appreciate Connie making sure everything was timed perfectly. I know she worked very hard to make our experience extraordinary. The wedding was beautiful outside on the Patio and the reception inside with all the tables decorated and spaced perfectly was enchanting for our event. One of my disappointments were negotiations of some of the decorations and I felt additional costs that came out in our final walk-thru were un-necessary and should have been revealed in our beginning conversations or compromised to accommodate us at the last minute. To leave curtains on the wall at our expense seemed excessive being that they were up at the time of our first walk-thru and the contract signing and were still up at the final walk-thru. All in all, we had a fantastic day! All of my guests raved about the gem of a place the Gala Events Facility is and I give huge compliments to the 3 women running it. I would highly recommend for any occasion.

Amazing Venue!

The ladies of Gala are spectacular! My husband and I enjoyed planning our wedding with Gala every step of the way. If we were getting married again, we would definitely choose Gala. The ladies of Gala work together as a team. Each one is proficient in their area of expertise and knows exactly what to do/say to make your day special. Everything was perfect for our wedding day! The Perfect Mitzvah

We were so fortunate to find Gala and an unexpected opening on our date, as it was late already within 3 months of our planned event and our original venue was unable to meet our needs. Connie and Pam were so easy to work with, they are both highly professional and have excellent recommendations for contractors (DJ, Caterer, Decor, Bartenders) to make an already intimate and beautiful facility the perfect setting for any event. Ours was our daughters Bat Mitzvah, and she couldn't have been more pleased with how everything turned out. It turned out to be a beautiful afternoon/evening and and absolutely wonderful event!!

A Wedding Venue so good, you'll want to get married twice!

There are a few key moments in everyone’s life that are burned into the back of your mind forever. Whether they be moments of great travesty or moments of greatest tribulation, they are something that will stick with you for the rest of your life.

My greatest fear was that my Wedding Night would fall apart in one way or another, and be something I looked back on for the rest of my life and cringe a little bit.

I am happy to say that with the help from Connie and Pam from the Gala Events Facility, I can instead look back on my Wedding Day and smile.

Honestly, Gala Events Facility ticked off every single box I could have ever wanted for planning our big day. Not only is the venue absolutely beautiful in style and design, but also extremely affordable. We visited MANY, MANY venues prior to finding out about Gala, and were on the verge of just giving up and eloping. However, after our very first meeting and quote session with Gala we were absolutely sold!

Most of the previous venues we visited lured you in with cheap venue prices, but then absolutely nail you to the wall with mandatory food / catering minimums. I am happy to say that this was not the case at all with Gala Events Facility.

Just as a comparison point, our Gala Wedding of 50 people cost a fraction of what the other venues were charging. The same size wedding, at the four venues we visited before that? Minimum $20,000, with massive mandatory catering minimums. Gala Events Facility was less than HALF THE PRICE of the other venues we viewed, which is absolutely amazing for what Gala provides.

The venue isn’t small, but it is intimate in size, so if you have an absolutely huge wedding guest list than you may need to search elsewhere. However, our wedding was 50 people and we still had plenty of room for more. While intimate in size it more than makes up for it by being an absolute visual feast. Watching my wife walk down the aisle towards me, outside in the cool November air with the fall leaves and flower petals flowing around her, is a memory that will stick with me for the rest of my life. That moment of perfection was made possible by the hard working people of Gala Events Facility.

Speaking of Hard working people, Pam and Connie are 50% of the reason you need to go with Gala for your wedding. A beautiful wedding venue means nothing if you can’t actually pull off the wedding planning to make it happen. They were both there each and every step of the way with suggestions, tips and tricks to cut costs, and a firm hand to keep us focusing on the important tasks.

In fact, Connie was even there on our wedding day itself to keep the event rolling along smoothly. No wedding is perfect, and there will be mistakes….Unless you have Connie steering the wheel of your Wedding Ship. She steered us clear of every iceberg, every rocky shore, and it was smooth sailing the whole way. I am sure there were small mistakes that happen at every wedding, but Connie was a complete professional who fixed each and every one of them without the Bride and Groom even noticing. I honestly did not notice a single mistake, and that is the mark of a true professional wedding venue and coordinator.

I know I have rambled on for quite a while, and honestly I could keep going for several more pages if you let me…I just want to clearly impress upon you how much of a positive experience I had with Gala Events Facility.

Gala met all my needs. I was prego while beginning the wedding planning process and wanted to find something quick, easy, and affordable. Gala met all the criteria and made the process less stressful. I was able to get all the big stuff I didn’t feel like shopping around for (i.e. caterer, DJ) while still being able to add my own special touch and accomadations. Gala is a perfect one-stop shop when trying to plan a wedding on a budget and not knowing exactly where to begin. Thank all the ladies for making my day amazing!!

I highly recommend Gala. We had our wedding on 8/11/18, and it was everything that I could dream of. I relied heavily on their expertise. Connie and Sara were wonderful and reassuring. I love The Gala, my wedding was beautiful, intimate and full of fun. I loved sitting in the dressing room with no worry that everything was being done for me. The only time I lifted a finger was to revive ang give wedding bands. A special thanks to Limda, she was so funny, tentative and super helpful. Also whatever she was using to fan me in the garden while taking pics felt like AC. I’m ready to do it all over again.

My husband and I chose to have our wedding ceremony and reception at Gala on June 2, 2018. Our wedding was beautiful and everything we could’ve ever dreamed of. As a very simple, yet detailed bride, Connie ensured that all my dreams came true! Connie helped decorate, organize, and think of all the things this bride forgot! I can’t say enough good things about Gala. I would recommend Gala to anyone and everyone in a heartbeat! Gala truly is the TOTAL PACKAGE. It’s the best value in the area, and their customizable package makes planning your unique day so easy and straightforward.

I have literally ZERO complaints with Gala. Not a single one. Everything went so smoothly, I can hardly believe it.

The absolute best part of Gala is Connie. Her services are indispensable! She answered all my questions in a timely and friendly manner leading up to the big day, and went above and beyond to help us with a separate issue. She really is a pro - she made sure that everything ran smoothly during the event, and always looked out to make sure that the bridge, groom, and family were all taken care of.

The vendors offered by the facility are top notch, too. We got so many compliments on the cake and food, both a part of Gala’s package. The DJ service was professional and available for all my little nit-picky needs. The outdoor space is like a garden party space, and the indoors is charming and elegant. It was the perfect venue for our dream wedding.

Gala Event Facility is the absolute best! I give Gala Facility top ratings because of the impeccable service we received. Kathi is the coordinator for Gala. She is positive, professional, prompt and proactive towards our needs for our special day. Kathi is always on time, she listened to our request and advised accordingly. Kathi’s coordination style is simple and left my fiancé and I worry free. We communicated our vision and she delivered. Kathi’s vendors are superb. There selections for reception meals were great. We opted for catering from the Savory Plate. I loved the presentation and professionalism displayed by the chef and staff. The food is flavorful and filling. The bakery Confection Perfection is simply amazing. There were various cake options to select from. My only complaint is that all of the cake options were so delicious, it was a challenge to select the flavor of our wedding cake. Our wedding reception was phenomenal! I couldn’t ask for anything better. Kathi was attentive to my needs and made sure my husband and I were we’ll taken care of from beginning to the end. I received positive feedback from all of my guest about food, music and service. Gala is and forever will be in my call log for any event that I have. Thank you Kathi for making our day special and worry free.

Kathy was so professional and had some great ideas on how to make the event really pop. Being a fraction of the price of a hotel ballroom, we also saved money by bringing in our own alcohol.
1. The ceiling fabric covers a gold ceiling. The gold color really determines if you should get the fabric or not.
2. YES! to uplighting! It really increased the ambiance of the event.
3. Photo Bus - Yes if its a photo bus type of event. This is one of the nicest photo busses I've walked inside and a great value. This was also our guests "take home" gift.
4. Fabric on the wall. I didn't get this since the wall was obstructed by the DJ, MC and dancers.
5. Spandex chair covers - The chairs are navy and a goldish brass. This didn't fit in our color scheme so we opted for the chair covers. they were comfortable and no one tripped on them (always one of my worries).
6. Wine and water glasses - The venue charges for wine/water glasses. It's not much $ and adds to the look when you first walk into the space.
7. The back seating area. There is a corner bench on a long wall in the back. I put fluffy pillow from five and below on the bench and put cute helium balloons in the recessed ceiling. I wanted to hang a LED curtain ($15/Amazon) but never got around to it.
8. Outside Patio - there is an outside patio that is great in the warmer weather or perfect in the colder weather if you have heat lamps.
9. Bar - Hire the bartender - it classes up the whole event.
10 - Soda package - there's also an iced tea/lemonade package for a bit less. You can bring in your own soda. Does it save money? Who knows. But since I had lots of soda left over from a previous event, it worked for us.
I expected there to be lots of issues, there always are with event. But, there weren't. The staff is so professional and have done this so many times, it works like a well oiled machine. Although I know I'm one of their many events, Kathy made me feel like I was the only one.

We had our wedding on Saturday December 30 2017. The plans for it began about 4-5 months before that. The process was seamless and Kathi Bland, the event coordinator, communicated with us along the way. We had a wonderful ceremony outside, at the Gazebo, and afterwards had a reception there inside. We really had an exceptional experience with the gala event facility for our wedding. Kathi really catered to our exact desires and needs throughout the whole process. When you are choosing your wedding venue you really have to take in account a lot of different things and Kathi makes it very easy to decide who you want for your special day our entire process was so smooth and so easy due to all of her help and I couldn't be more thankful. Once we learned we could bring our dog with us on our wedding day to the venue and the reception we were completely sold because, of course, he is a part of our family. Even further than that I was able to be in as much or as little contact as I wanted with Kathi throughout the whole process which was very comforting as a bride to be. The venue is gorgeous with many different areas for beautiful photos and I really enjoyed how customizable everything was thanks to Kathi and the staff at The Gala. We were able to choose our own colors and bring any items with us that we wanted as well as utilize the items that were available for us through Kathi and The Gala. I couldn't be more pleased with our experience and if I had to do it all over again I would choose The Gala over and over. I wouldn't limit this venue to only a wedding venue though it's beautiful and a fun atmosphere even for parties such as sweet 16s or over the hill parties I would even love to do a family reunion here again because that's what our wedding felt like and I am so thankful that we were able to experience such a incredibly beautiful day with all of our loved ones and to have such a great coordinator and venue to host us five stars out of five from us, absolutely I recommend this venue. We were able to have our rehearsal at the venue the night before our wedding which made for a smooth transition process into the morning of our wedding. I loved every aspect of our wedding experience and reccomend The Gala for a beautiful, personalized experience.

Kathi Bland was Gala Event's primary contact for our daughter's wedding reception. Absolute professionalism from our first facility visit until the happy couple left the venue for their honeymoon. Kathi was very detailed through the planning phase and clearly outlined our choices for catering, facility decoration and the overall staffing/setup package. Excellent communications - all questions leading to the event were quickly answered. Just a note: we chose The Savory Plate as our caterer - outstanding food, presentation and service! Throughout the reception, Kathi seamlessly coordinated food/drink service and staff. Just got married here and it was amazing! Kathi is wonderful and helped every step of the way. She was always kind and attentive. Me and my husband got married here on Labor Day, a very busy weekend for them, and could not be happier with the experience that we had. Kathi was absolutely wonderful and very helpful throughout the whole planning process. She also coordinated the day of and made sure everything ran smoothly and on time (which can be difficult as my family is typically late for everything). Even with a slight miscommunication of the rehearsal time a couple days before she was very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants an intimate wedding and isn't a fan of the very typical hotel ballroom weddings. Throughout the entire night she checked on us to see if there was anything we needed and made sure we had time to sit and eat. Absolutely amazing venue, definitely 5 stars!

Kathi from the gala was amazing. She helped with every detail down to making sure I had water and a glass of wine to calm my nerves the day of. Where to even start? Kathi was WONDERFUL. We had several meeting before the wedding day. She made sure to be available to answer our concerns, even the last minutes ones. Not being from the U.S., I was sometimes a bit lost. I changed my mind so many times on so many little details, but she guided me through this whole process. I received so many helpful suggestions from her and she was patient enough to listen to me, to understand what I had in mind, and she made sure to incorporate all the details from my culture. I gave her a general idea and she turned it into a dream come true reality. The venue was beautiful and the way she decorated everything was beyond perfect. The rehearsal prepared us all well for the wedding day. Since the ceremony was outdoor, she even had a plan B for the case it might rain.
I was planning to get there hours earlier on the wedding day to make sure there will be no unwanted surprise. However, due to some hairdresser issues on the wedding day, I barely made it on time to start getting ready myself. I was unable to check out what was going and had to totally rely on Kathi, my bridesmaids and my family. Kathi made sure to keep me updated and kept checking on me to make sure everything was alright, all this while supervising the vendors and the decoration. They had an event the night before the wedding, but it would have been hard to believe looking at how perfect things were when I got there. My bridesmaids and my family still can't stop telling me how well she organized everything and kept everyone calm. Honestly I didn't have the time to get stressed or anxious because everything just went smoothly. I just showed up and had fun. So did my husband and my guests.
Gala Events Facility was amazingly beautiful, and Kathi was the best part of it.

The Gala Events Facility exceeded our expectations as the venue for my daughter’s sweet sixteen party. The venue is simply elegant and gorgeous. The coordinator Kathi for the venue was super helpful and professional. Kathi made sure everything was just perfect for my daughter’s day. Kathi was very detailed with the floor plan and also helping my daughter create a custom birthday filter for SnapChat. This venue is amazing for a small wedding! Everything went without a hitch and Kathi (head wedding coordinator) made sure everything went perfect for our big day. She even corrected the photographer a couple of times so that we got the best and typical wedding shots.

For catering with this place, I would recommend Christopher, who has a great catering business and works with Gala.
I would recommend Trey as a DJ. He had our small wedding dancing the entire time.

We had numerous comments that our small wedding was the most fun and beautiful wedding that people had ever attended (though maybe they were just saying that).

Do it! The ability to bring in your own alcohol alone should be enough reason, but there are so many more reasons...The facility was great, the setting is beautiful and the price can't be beat - Kathi is a joy to work with - very easy and accommodating. Take the money you would 'waste' elsewhere and put it toward your honeymoon or savings!

We used Gala for one of our large scale company fundraising events to raise money for the United Way. This venue was perfect for us. The staff were very attentive and our overall experience was outstanding. I would highly recommend working with Kathi to schedule your event here, her and her team are phenomenal!

I was asked to plan our company anniversary party (35 years in business, about 50 guests) and was a bit overwhelmed by the prospect. After talking to Kathi and making a visit to the Gala facility, I was sold. I thought the location might not be suitable for a formal business party because of its size (thinking it may be too large), but I was so wrong. The layout worked out perfectly, allowing guests to enjoy the different spaces as the evening activities changed. There was an area for our cocktail party, plenty of room for our buffet dinner, a stage for making announcements & recognizing long term employees, a lounge area for doing a silly photo booth, and a beautifully lit arch on the outside patio where we were able to get lovely pictures of our staff and their significant others.
Kathi arranged tastings with the caterers, showed us options for table dressings, and offered the use of their big screen for a photo loop and plug-ins so we could provide our own music. We loved having the whole location to ourselves, something that we could not have gotten if we had chosen a public restaurant. The attention to details was impressive and made arranging & hosting the event practically effortless. It’s our pleasure to fulfill our review writing obligations for Gala Special Events facility and the fantastic staff found there. Thank you Kathi.

My daughter's Sweet Sixteen "Pink Elegance" is the talk of her High School it was held Nov. 5th 2016 and was fantastic. My family and I enjoyed every moment. Ms. Kathi is beyond amazing and helped us bring our vision to life. The food was delicious, the caterer that we choose through the Gala and miss Kathi did not dissapoint us at all. The DJ and the Photo Booth added to the party perfectly. Honestly, coming from Brooklyn two years ago and comparing places the Gala surpassed a few Brooklyn Reception Halls by quality, price and hospitality. Kathi I really want to thank you for treating us like family and helping us have an amazing night full of memories. Respectfully, Olivia and Genny

We had the best experience at Gala. The venue is beautiful. Planning our wedding at Gala was a great experience. Kathi is so attentive and so helpful. Our wedding was and looked amazing. One of the best experiences we have had. My cousine had her wedding there and i completely fell in love with the place. That is how we decided to have our wedding there.

My daughter celebrated her 16th birthday at Gala Events Facility recently. My daughter and I searched Cobb County for the perfect venue for days. After visiting Gala Events and talking with Kathi, we knew we had found the perfect venue. Kathi and Kitty were helpful from the beginning to the end, even helping us set up for the party. It was a beautiful venue. They went above and beyond. If you are looking for somewhere that is elegant, classy, and affordable, Gala Events Facility is the place. Thank you Kathi and Kitty!

My husband and I searched everywhere for the perfect venue. We stumbled across Gala in January of 2016. Once we seen the venue, price and met our wedding planner, Kathi, we fell in love! Kathi did an amazing job to make our wedding perfect. From answering my 100 emails, changing colors, sending me pictures (off the clock) of table linens, meeting up with me on last minute weekend days to walking down the aisle, I wouldn't have asked for anyone or anyplace better. Our wedding was small, maybe around 30 people, but it was perfect in every way. Id have to say, Kathi really out did herself. Definitely a memory to last forever.

We had our wedding reception at the Gala, 9/24/16 I worked with Kathi who was truly amazing! She was very helpeful and patient when choosing my decor. When we arrived everthing looked great. Her staff was very attentive to me, my husband and all of our guest. The cost was right in line with our budget. We have received nothing but positive feed back from all of guest about how much fun they had. They also loved the location and that it was easy to find and plenty of free parking. Gala fit the bill for us in so many ways...the staff, the venue itself and the atmosphere were great! Kathi is an amazing person to work with due to her patience, flexibility and tried and true advice in sorting out the various kinks that come up in event planning. The venue itself was PERFECT for an intimate mixed party of adults and teenagers. Kathi allowed us to bring in our own middle eastern caterer and decor to create a Moroccan/Casbah-themed party. It was an amazing event thanks to Kathi and her team at Gala!

My husband and I were married at Gala recently, and we could not have asked for a more perfect venue for our intimate wedding. Gala was very elegant and everything we wanted in a wedding venue, but very affordable at the same time. We visited many other places prior to coming to Gala, and they could not be matched in terms of flexibility, pricing, and value. The grounds at Gala were well kept and beautiful. The wedding package Gala offered made the entire planning process a breeze with no stress involved, since the venue took care of almost everything. Kathi Bland, the Venue Manager, went out of her way to ensure we were happy. She was friendly, patient, kind, considerate, and just an all around great person. Kathi was always ready and willing to help. Whatever we needed, she was there to accommodate. I must have sent Kathi a million emails, asking tons of questions and making endless requests, yet, Kathi was always prompt and professional in all her replies. On the wedding day, everything was put together so perfectly, it was even better than I could have ever imagined. All the vendors provided by Gala were beyond reproach. Everyone was punctual, very professional, and the services they provided were top notch. Our wedding coordinator, Jamaica, was absolutely fantastic! Jamaica went above and beyond to give us the perfect day. She practically did everything and took care of us so well that all we had to do was to enjoy ourselves. The service provided by Gala was second to none, and we were so happy to have chosen this venue. My husband and I received many compliments on how beautiful the wedding was and how Gala was the perfect elegant venue to host it. Our special day would not have happened so smoothly and beautifully without the help of the amazing staff at Gala. We truly appreciated everything they did for us to make our big day special and memorable. We were glad to have the opportunity to work with them and highly recommend Gala to everyone!

We just had our wedding reception/party at Gala Events Facility. It turned out beautifully! It was everything we had hoped it would be. They were amazing! Gala will handle as much or as little as you want. For us, we didn’t want to have to think too much; we just wanted to have FUN! And we did! Kathi at Gala made everything so easy. She let us choose from a huge assortment of flowers, table coverings and decorations. She set up tastings with various caterers. She helped with a DJ and a bartender! All we had to do was show up and have a great time. Everyone had a great time and we had no stress!

This was the best decision we made for our wedding. Kathy was very attentive and patient and very flexible. Our decor was just as we wanted it and everything was beautiful. Before the wedding, we were able to shoot her an email with any question and would get a speedy response. Every time we met with her she was prepared and had all her notes on our day ready.
Another plus was being able to use the vendors she works with. We used the cake vendor she suggested and our guests could not stop talking about our cake. We also used one of her food vendors and that blew our guests away as well. The photographer she suggested showed up earlier than we said (what a problem to have right? :-) ) and he too was great. There was nothing that disappointed me on that day.
Another reason we loved this venue was the cost. We got everything we wanted and still stayed within our budget. This venue can give you everything you want and you will not break the bank. We paid for our wedding ourselves and this was a big part in choosing our venue.
The fact that we were able to have our ceremony outside and reception inside was also a plus. Most of our guests were from out of town so we didn't want them to drive around. This venue also has relationships with nearby hotels that includes a free shuttle to and from the venue for guests and a free suite for a night if you reserve a certain amount of rooms. We took advantage of that too.
I highly recommend Kathy and this venue. Give her a call, set up a meeting, and go see the venue. It will be worth it!

Gala is a wonderful venue, with even more wonderful staff. Kathi is a godsend, she went above and beyond to make our wedding special. She took my ideas and tuned the place into exactly what I had envisioned. I couldn't have picked a better place.

kathi was just awesome, from the first time i walked in the venue i knew this had to be the place and after talking to kathi it made it clear it would be perfect for us! I've had so many compliments about my wedding how great and nice it was , it just makes me so happy to know I chose the right place for my big day.. kathi answered all my question,concerns, and helped us every step of the way, she was always available for us. i would definitely recommend this place.. and ofcorse i will be booking this place again! i just loved everything about it, thank you kathi for everything.

We looked at many venues for the perfect place for our wedding day. Each of them had something very different and unique about them and beautiful places. However, when I toured Gala, I immediately fell in love! It was a smaller place which made for a more intimate setting for our friends and family. We will definitely recommended Gala for any event that you want flexibility, and a special touch. :-)

Mrs.Connie and Mrs. Kathi were both extremely kind, attentive and caring throughout my entire planning process. From my initial meeting, to our rehearsal we have been pleased with the patience and courteous attitudes of everyone at Gala. We had our wedding reception at the Gala on June 25th 2016. It was so beautifully orchestrated. Kathi was simply amazing! I am definitely not the girl that planned her wedding since she was 5 years old and knew everything there was to know. Kathi understood that and walked us through the entire process from wedding timeliness, to centerpieces, just everything. I'm so grateful for Mrs. Kathi being there helping and ironing out all of the kinks of the day. If you are in the market for a wedding ceremony and reception place please give The Gala your fullest scrutiny as it will be everything you could of asked for for a intimate and beautiful event.

I would recommend Gala Event Facilty to anyone looking for a small comfortable place yet still have that ambiance and quality your looking for to make your own, I just hosted my family 43rd reunion there and even though I got sick my family still enjoyed themselves, and loved the ambiance of the place. I would definitely do business there again!!!

From the moment we first saw this venue with Kathi, to leaving on our wedding night, we loved the entire experience. Kathi really made the process smooth and simple, so we could focus on the various other details planning our ceremony and reception. Our coordinator was wonderful as well. She was very professional and receptive to our requests and making sure we were taken care of during the entire event.

I highly recommend The Gala. Kathy the event coordinator really wants to see every bride happy on their day. During the whole process of planning she was very helpful. My day was beautiful. The food was delicious and decorations were so pretty. Everyone is still telling me how wonderful our wedding was. I look back at pictures and I smile.

From the beginning stages of planning to the very end, the team at the Gala was wonderful! They were flexible, patient, and highly organized. They provided great insight when asked and let us have autonomy when needed. They took a lot of the stress out of wedding planning. They have a vendor for everything you need. You just have to pick one and they were all fantastic! It felt all inclusive and completely customizable all at the same time. We will definitely use this facility again for our event needs.

My mom is still talking about her surprise party

From day one, Ms. Kathi and her staff was helpful and accommodating. This was our first time planning a party. Ms. Kathi was willing to work with me and make adjustments where she could to suit my needs. The day of the party, i was so nervous because I wanted everything to run smooth. Ms. Kitty made our party run so smooth. She made sure I was ok and told me everything would be fine. Everything I needed and wanted she was right there. I give you a +A Ms. Kitty. Even down to the cook, Billy you did your thing honey. My cousin still talking about your wings. We planning to come see you Billy. Thank you Mr. Gary for sharing Billy and your staff. I also want to thank Ms. LeAnn and her staff on those beautiful cakes. I had a lot of great feed back on the facility, food, and cake. I have some upcoming events so you will hear from me again. Awesome Venue and Kathi is amazing. Everything was very beautiful. Kathi was easy to work with and helped make the event very special. This is definitely a facility to rent. It is clean, centrally located, and beautiful. It is reasonably priced and you have the option of bringing in your own food and doing your own decorations. I will definitely rent Gala Events Facilty again.

The Gala Event Facility is a great place for any event.

We had a successful surprise birthday party for my father-in-law. From planning to meeting with the Gala staff, Kathy to setting up and partying, our experience was smooth and stress free. I liked several things about Gala Event Facility:
1) Private setting with an outdoor space that is covered with tall trees
2) enough parking for our event of 90 ppl
3) I didn't have to worry about decor... The already simple but elegant setting inside was just enough plus they offer linens, centerpieces, dinnerware, and more for a fee that was very reasonable.

Our guest raved about how beautiful and private the space was. I will definitely be hosting more events at the Gala Event Facility and will recommend this facility to all.

We made the BEST possible choice to celebrate when we decided to have our party at Gala! I cannot say enough nice things about this wonderful place. It is a beautiful, welcoming facility with a staff that takes away ALL of the worry and stress that can be associated with hosting an event that you want to be special. From the initial planning to the actual party – Kathi and the Gala staff made everything easy and fun! We were able to totally enjoy celebrating with our guests while the Gala staff took excellent care of everything!
