The location on River and Campbell is beautiful! I always go to Gabriella Barraza. She corrected my color for my engagment photos and will be doing my color, cut and style for my wedding day also! Super professional and personable!

I had my entire wedding party and then some get hair and make up done here, they were so organized and got us in and out with out anyone waiting around.

I used the gadabout salon on river and Campbell as my hair and makeup team for the wedding and they were wonderful! Brett was able to pull off an undo exactly as a had envisioned and was able to change it as I liked or didn't like certain things.. Stephanie was awesome for makeup! She was able to achieve the subtle beauty I wanted without it feeling too heavy. They were both available to do testing sessions so we could make changes the day of if needed. The salon also made sure they gave us a list of available stylists during the time I would be there for if my bridal party wanted to come in also. They were so accommodating, I wouldn't have felt nearly as beautiful if not for them! Highly recommended!

My stylist at Gadabout was able to achieve the exact look I was going for. I went in for a hair trial a few days before, which I highly recommend to make sure you and the stylist are on the same page. On the day of, she knew exactly what I wanted.

I have terrible excema and with the wedding stress it started to come out on my face. Stephanie Edelbrok at their River location was a God Send. She introduced me to a new product line called Skin Authority. Using the Skin Authority products in addition to bi-weekly facials, I can say that my skin issues were not any part of my concerns on my wedding day.

I had a great experience both during my trial run and during the actual wedding day. Stephanie did a fantastic job on my hair and I kept getting so many compliments all night long.

My hair and makeup was excellent and I didn't do a rehearsal (which was scary) but it still turned out exactly how I wanted it! I don't recall the name of the girls who did my makeup but it was excellent!

My Maid of Honor arranged a spa day for us and it was absolutely amazing. The massages were amazing - best I have ever had hands down (Swedish) and the facial was perfect (Vicki is the best!!). I plan on returning the favor to our next bride coming up here soon in July.

Rey at the St. Philips Plaza location did my hair and Jessica did my makeup, they did a beautiful job and it lasted through the night. My only complaint is that the salon had obviously double booked Rey because I waited for over 45 minutes past my appointment to get into her chair. (All of my bridesmaids appointments were on schedule) Even with that minor hurdle, I would recommend gadabouts, and have been back to see Rey for a haircut since. I will continue to use her and gadabouts in the future.

I used the speedway and country club location for my engagement photo hair and makeup and was very happy with the results.

For the wedding day, I used the Oracle adn Magee location because it had the most space for myself, my mom, and 5 bridesmaids. I had my trial 2 days before the wedding because I no longer live in Tucson and couldn't do it until after I flew home for the wedding. I was a little nervous waiting until so late, but was very pleased with the outcome. Vickie did a fabulous job with the makeup and Lisa did my hair exactly how I pictured it.

On the day of the wedding, I absolutely loved how all of the bridesmaids came out--they have very different hair types and skin tones and each of their styles was uniquely them but beautiful.

The prices were similar or less to other salons I looked into, and I think it was a great decision to go with gadabouts. Working with the event coordinator Elaine was very easy, and I was able to make changes to the plan up to a few days beforehand (swaping one girl from an updo to just a style).

I had my hair and makeup done a Gadabout at River/Campbell. Stephanie did my make-up and Arlene did my hair. I had a hair trial a few days before the wedding (I’ve been seeing Stephanie for almost a decade and trust her enough to forgo a rehearsal. Plus, she was sick on the day I had my hair practice-run). I was thrilled with my make-up and even got a lip gloss for the day as part of the package. Arlene did a good job on my hair as well. During the trial, she seemed to prefer that I tell her exactly what I wanted… but I didn’t know what I wanted. I showed her some pictures of things that I liked, but I guess there were too many different elements and we were all a little confused as to what I wanted. In the end, my hair looked great. It stayed put all day, and I was given a little can of hairspray just in case.

I would highly recommend Gadabout at River/Campbell for wedding-day pampering. These girls are VERY popular, so be sure to make the arrangements far in advance.

Honestly, I could probably have done my own hair and makeup and the results would have been just as good, but it was really nice to be pampered by these ladies, all of whom are friendly and skilled.

Gadabout was wonderful in coordinating hair and nail appointments for my four bridesmaids and me! They were so flexible with having to change times as wedding plans changed, and they were able to get all of us appointments within the time window that worked best for getting ready, photos, etc. Unfortunately, our hair stylists' booths were not close together so we were spread out for our appointments. But all of our hair turned out great and we all had lovely experience! They even had a massage therapist offer free chair massages before our appointments! Christina did my hair (long, side swept waves) and it turned out beautifully and lasted until the very last dance! My trial hair did not go very well so I was concerned, but Christina knew exactly what to do the day of! I would definitely recommend Gadabout for bridal parties!

Many of the women in the wedding had their hair and makeup done at the Sunrise and Kolb location. They were great. We were able to bring in some snacks and champagne to the salon and they helped us facilitate that. Great service.

The wedding coordinators at Gadabout were absolutely AMAZING. Stephanie did an amazing job with my updo!

BUT-- The makeup artist was not good at all. She didn't even apply any foundation or bronzer, she hardly put on any mascara, and she forgot to put on any lipstick or lipgloss. In addition to this, she left my mother with one fake eyelash hanging off, and when addressed said "well sorry, but my next client is here". She was terrible and she made my experience there awful. I would not recommend receiving any makeup services at this salon.

I am NOT into hair and makeup, so I put off these decisions until very late in the game, but Gadabout on Grant was able to take my myself, all my bridesmaids (6), my mother, and mother in law without any problems. Everyone looked gorgeous, and we were able to use the small green room to help organize last minute details over mimosas. Yes, it was expensive, but it turned out well.

I have been going to Gadabout myself for years but after my bridal experience I don't know if I will go back. My consultation with Christina was amazing. My hair lasted for hours and was exactly what I wanted it to be. We moved our appointments earlier in the day and they seemed to be very accomadating. Unfortunately, the appointments were not moved, they were canceled. So when we went in the morning of the wedding at 8:15 the only appointment was the bridal appointment and nothing for my 5 bridesmaids. They did attempt to accomadate us, but we had to send 3 of the girls to another location which meant we could not get ready together. My hair looked really wonderful, but after few hours it completly fell apart. My bridemaids also had similar problems with their hair and their stylists. A few of the girls actually just completely redid their own hair once we arrived at the venue. I am wishing we would have just had stylists come to the venue instead.

I had a terrible experience! I checked in for my appoinment 20 minutes early, and they told me to take a seat that I was checked in and everything...well 40 minutes pass (20 minutes pass my scheduled appointment) I heard them talk about a late bride, so I walked up to the counter asking about my appointment and they said "Oh you're the late bride" I told them nooo..I'd been waiting "checked in" for 40 minutes, and they said "well we never had you as being here, sit down and we will get to you shortly. No sorry or anything! Also, when I sat down and requested false eyelashes-the makeup artist said she didnt have time! This place was such a joke! DO NOT go here for wedding makeup. I ended up being late for my pictures and only got 20 minutes of photos pre-wedding. So sad how much money was wasted!
