Great Food, Great People!

Delightmore was truly a delight! From the salesperson, Alex Reed, to our event manager Ellie Mariska. All so professional and easy to work with. They accommodated all of our request. Providing meat alternatives for a vegan and vegetarian guest. All the staff at our event were pleasant. And the food was delicious! Would definitely recommend for any special event.

Amazing Caterer!

Vonderhaar's Catering (now Delightmore) was absolutely incredible to work with for our wedding! My husband and I decided to do the pig roast which was such a cool experience. They roast the pig right on site at the venue and it made the whole area smell amazing. Not only was the food insanely good, but every staff member I worked with leading up to the wedding, and on the day of, was so friendly, professional and helpful. They truly made us feel so special, constantly checking on my husband and I to see if we needed anything throughout the day, bringing us hors d'oeuvres and drinks while we were taking pictures during cocktail hour and making sure everything in terms of catering and bar service ran smoothly. I cannot recommend them enough!

Very Happy with our choice!

Vonderhaar Catering Experience

We were thoroughly pleased with Vonderhaar!
It all begins with excellent planning and direction, and we can’t recommend Jan Riordan (catering sales manager & design/event specialist) enough! She is thorough, honest, and flexible as needed. Sort of the reliable “mom” of the catering experience! As far as the actual food is concerned, our guests are still talking about it! Many have commented on the delicious hot appetizers, best mashed potatoes, brisket, and chicken they’ve ever had. Even the extra pasta primavera dish and unique salad have received rave reviews! It makes us feel good to hear all of the wonderful comments about the quality of the meal, and we were especially pleased with the incredible service throughout the entire evening! Louise, our captain, and her friendly staff, were extremely efficient and extra helpful with older guests. They stayed on top of water service and made plates for the grandparents without anyone asking. A lovely, personal touch! The excellent bar service was equally appreciated, and everything was managed perfectly. Not a single worry with Vonderhaar!

Fantastic Wedding Vendor for Catering

You cannot go wrong hiring Vonderhaar's Catering for your wedding! We recently got married in September 2022 and had Vonderhaar's Catering for our reception held at the Glendale Lyceum. Jan Riordan was the primary person we worked with and Jan was very professional, detailed and responsive. She was so helpful in capturing all the right details, including the linens. The quality of the food and service was phenomenal, so many of our guests raved about how good the food was; and having good food at our reception was one of my husband's top goals when we first started wedding planning. From the wedding food tasting day to the wedding day, Vonderhaar's Catering is top notch quality.

Outstanding Vendor

Jan was instrumental in making my daughter's wedding day a complete success from the moment we started working with her. The food and bar service were outstanding. Binder hat was AMAZING

French park Bono wedding

The food was delicious! Vonderhaars was so easy to work with. As a bride, they made the process of picking the food, pricing and what they would recommend for cocktail hour VS dinner an ease. They even had cheese coneys at the end. I met the owner and he was the sweetest man. Made sure my husband and I were happy. When we were dancing they saw we didn’t eat all of our food so they stored it in a heated place behind until we were ready to eat. Honestly, the best catering I could have asked for on my big day.

Rehearsal Dinner

Thanks to you and your team for making our rehearsal dinner such a success and a particular thank you for coming to the rescue with the linens and napkins! The food was excellent and we received many compliments from our guests. The area really needs more venues for event rental (Sabin Hall was severely lacking) but Vonderhaar’s Catering absolutely transformed a lackluster event space into a wonderful evening.

Exceptional Food and Service

Ever try planning an event 500 miles away without meeting the caterer or event planner? I Felt like a river boat gambler. But Jan with Vonderhaar’s presented it, planned it, and the staff and crew pulled it off. Food was great, service was great. Bar service great. Vonderhaar’s Catering in coordination with Richwood on the River did an outstanding job. A clinic on how to make it happen! Both rehearsal dinner and reception were exceptional!

Outstanding Service and Food Quality

Vonderhaar's catered my wedding at Cooper Creek Event Center in June 2022. What sets Vonderhaar's apart from other caterers is outstanding service and food quality. From the moment I stepped in the venue, the team captain (Susan) approached me immediately to make sure that myself and the bridal party had access to appetizers--she even made a personal plate and brought it to the bridal suite. We had a plated meal for dinner and the food quality was a 10/10. We even had some guests tell us how great the food was! Additionally, the captain and Gina Vonderhaar made sure to introduce themselves to the bride and groom's parents and made sure they were taken care of. Susan personally served myself and my husband and checked in with us all throughout dinner. She was professional, informative, and executed the evening seamlessly. Lastly, there was a moment when the bar had an insanely long line and Gina was flexible enough to allow one of her servers to help with the bar until the line died down (bar service was provided by the venue NOT Vonderhaar's FYI but they were kind enough to help).

Excellent Choice for Catering

Vonderhaar's went above and beyond our expectations for our cocktail hour food and wedding meal! We were beyond pleased with their service. We had our tasting where we sampled a variety of appetizers, sides, and main courses, and they were flexible and listened to what we wanted. They were incredibly responsive throughout the planning process. When it came to wedding night, the staff was very friendly and worked so hard to keep salads and meals moving so everyone ate at the same time. Our meals were delicious, and everyone was raving! We were even fortunate to take home leftovers, and they were just as delicious a few days later! The staff was constantly checking on us to see if we needed anything, or just to see how our night was going. I would highly recommend Vonderhaar's Catering to anyone in the market to hire a caterer! They were wonderful!

Excellent food and great service!

I seriously could not have been more pleased with a caterer. They were great! I worked with Jan and she was very patient with helping me pick the menu and decide in the best contract for us. They showed up and set up on time. The food was all good and their bartender was amazing. No joke, we had leftovers of the brisket and chicken marsala and we are being asked by guests to share the leftovers. The servers were so considerate, too! Seriously, if you are in the Cincinnati area, there’s no reason not to hire these guys.

Amazing food, staff and service!!!

I cannot say enough good things about the experience we had with Vonderhaar's Catering for my daughter's and Son-in-Law's wedding. The food was delicious! We chose the Pasta Bar. The food was cooked perfectly, not overcooked or undercooked. The bartender was great! The staff was very professional and attentive. Lori, and her staff were amazing! Food was Amazing!

Vonderhaars was awesome to work with! Our contact was Lori, who was VERY easy to communicate with, she was very responsive on both email and over the phone. They made it really easy to do adjustments and last minute changes. We were very cold the night of the rehearsal, so my Dad called to have them add on hot chocolate and mugs with only a few days notice and they delivered! The food was delicious, we got lots of compliments on the fun menu we planned (we did a Queen City Meats grill out with mac & Cheese and house made chips). We requested the catering staff wear masks under the tent and there was no issue with it, the staff following that request. I also appreciate how they handled setting the silverware, napkins, and helps distribute glassware even though we didn't rent the napkins or glasses through them - and they even assisted with the champagne pours.

Wedding event.

Very positive experience. All very professional, attentive. Had food ready to go early. I personally appreciated the catering professional who prepared my plate so I wouldn't spill food on my dress. What a great gesture.. All very positive comments on how excellent the food was . Everyone seemed to enjoy. They went out of their way to prepare a separate plate for groom since he is allergic to pepper. Price was reasonable. Included cleaning up dinner plates after everyone was finished eating and packaging up leftovers. Was worth every penny and more. We are very happy and appreciative to Vonderhaar's for catering our wedding and making our special day perfect.

Perfect for our dream wedding!

My husband and I met the Vonderhaar's team at a bridal event and even the samples had us saying WOW. After that event, we only tried one other catering company but left very disappointed when compared to Vonderhaar's. By the time COVID hit, our contact, Jan, worked with us on getting us in to try their food while maintaining a safe environment as well as how they would do so to make it safe for the guests for the wedding. She worked with us on decisions on their extensive menu and was always open to working with our budget. The night of our wedding her staff were professional and accommodating, when my husband and I were up to get food, they served it to us instead of us trying to shimmy around our tight spot with my dress to get to the buffet table. They all made sure to give us their congratulations and signed our guest book! The food was just as good as we tried it on the initial tasting and our guests made no complaints to our knowledge. The bartenders were also helpful and accomodating to our guests and when it was closing time, held firm when guests tried to get drinks after they were packed up. We couldn't be happier with the service that was provided on our magical night and it went really well with our aesthetic.

Awesome Experience

We chose Vonderhaars to cater our wedding reception and couldn't be happier with our decision to do so. The whole process was flawless! They had worked with our venue, The Little Miami Brewing Co. Event Center, to develop a specific menu for the location so when we sat down for our tasting we had already narrowed down our choices. The food prepared was incredible, and Don took the time to get to know us and explain the process of developing a timeline for our special day. Diane was also great to work with behind the scenes, making adjustments to our menu as our date got closer. On our wedding day, Vonderhaars arrived on time and provided AMAZING, professional service the whole evening. We received many complements about the food and service from our guests. We couldn't have made a better decision for our special day!!!!!

Delicious food and wonderful people

I went with Vonderhaar's for all my wedding day food and drink needs as they came highly recommended from Premier Park Events, who runs all the weddings in Cincinnati's parks. We also went with a more non-traditional menu and Vonderhaar's had the right selection! I was so confident knowing that Vonderhaar's were experts in holding events at the parks, and was so impressed with them during my entire process. I worked with Jan, who is a wonderful, capable person and so fun to chat with, as well as Ken, who was so sweet to me and my entire family. Finally, the food was AMAZING. From barbecue to Graeter's ice cream, they blew our guests away. I so appreciate how seamless and smooth they made my wedding day and I highly recommend them!

Funky's is simply the best

Funky's Catering and the entire staff did a fantastic job serving our ~200 person wedding at Music Hall. Our guests all commented on how good the food and service was. Everything was fresh and served hot. The team worked around all the dietary restrictions our guests had and special requests we had to make our menu personal to us. Jennifer helped us with event design and rentals. Carlene, our catering manager, executed our plans flawlessly. Funky's is one of the most popular caterers in Cincinnati for good reason: the food is delicious, the service is great, and the people who work there are passionate about what they do.

Best home town food and service

Vonderhaar’s is a close family business I grew up LOVING! The food is by far the best I’ve ever had and the service was well above 5 stars. The attentiveness my husband and I felt during our wedding was so amazing and it meant so much that our head caterer set aside an appetizer plate for us to have during my dad’s welcome speech since we were taking pictures during our cocktail hour! I will always recommend Vonderhaar’s. You will not be disappointed with the quality of food and service!

Dedicated top tier service

We used Vonderhaar's for our outdoor wedding in a more rural area and they were fantastic. The food was incredible and the bar service was wonderful. They were very accommodating to the venue and really put in a special touch. My husband had a specific request and they went above and beyond for him. They were also extremely accommodating on his allergy to which I am grateful. They really go above and beyond for your event to make it special and their team at the venue is so helpful and kind. I would recommend them to anyone who wants quality food and drink with great service at a fair price.

Absolutely Amazing

Vonderhaar Catering went above and beyond in every aspect for our wedding on 9/18/21. We postponed our original wedding and they were so helpful in coordinating those details and were very flexible with us. Jan was thorough, kind, and knowledgeable throughout the process. Delicious and Professional!

I have nothing but great things to say about Vonderhaar's! We are still getting compliments from our guests about how great and delicious the food was. The entire Vonderhaar's staff was so professional beginning from scheduling our tasting all the way to cleaning things up at the wedding. They made sure that my husband and I were able to eat our dinner, have some of our appetizers and our cake, our drinks were always full, and they were so attentive to us and our guests. Lori was so kind and so helpful and they were able to accommodate all the allergies and restrictions we had for our guests (215 people). They were such a great choice for our wedding and we have absolutely no regrets booking with them. Book them for your event!!!

Excellent would recommend to anyone!

This was one of the easiest processes of my whole wedding planning. The value for the food was excellent as well as the alcohol. Everyone I worked with made it incredibly easy and I received many compliments on the food.

Fantastic!

Not only was the food delicious, but everyone was so professional and helpful! They were so prompt at returning phone calls and emails and just so polite. I had called a few times about questions with the escort cards and the seating chart since we did a plated meal and they were great at giving suggestions for what worked best. They were also great at going over their procedure for guests with allergies and dietary restrictions to ensure that those guests are taken care of.

Delicious food, above and beyond service

They were an absolute pleasure to work with. From setting up the menu for the event, to the actual on-site service, each staff member I worked with was professional and efficient. Jan in sales really helped me figure out the best plan for the night - I was a little lost in planning this part of my wedding, and she really helped tremendously with food selections and the timeline. Lori from the on-site staff was just incredible. My venue coordinator had an emergency and did not show. Lori went above and beyond her catering duties to help with table set up and even trying to figure out the room lighting. In a very stressful environment, she helped provide that peace. And the food was absolutely delicious! Everything that Vonderhaar’s made was so flavorful. It stayed pretty warm, even for a slow eater like me. I heard so many guests complimenting the food that night! I would 100% recommend them for any event, and I will definitely use them again if I need another event catered!

Flexible, professional, family-owned service

Vonderhaar's is locally owned by a lovely family who is involved in supporting their community. This translates to their team. During our most recent event, the Vonderhaar's staff pitched in to help my team flip the room, even though that wasn't part of their job. They are kind, courteous, and helpful. They take pride in their work. And of course, the food was amazing! We've used Vonderhaar's for events for years, and I will continue to hire them for years to come.

Excellent Service and Food!

Vonderhaars was great to work with for catering our wedding reception! We were split between meals within two separate package options and they allowed us to customize our own package. They were very responsive to any questions we had. They did an excellent job with serving and bartending our wedding. I can’t even begin to tell you how delicious their food was. They even made us a little doggy bag to take back to the hotel after a fun, bit long evening! Definitely recommend them to everyone looking for a personalized and family oriented caterer for any event!

Wonderful experience

We had a wonderful experience working with Vonderhaar's from the planning stages to the actual wedding. They were so accommodating and flexible when we had to cancel and reschedule due to Covid-19. Everyone at our reception absolutely loved the food. If we ever have another function that requires catering services, I will definitely use them again! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars.

Superior Service!

We used Vonderhaar’s catering for both of our daughters weddings within the last two years. They provided superior service and top quality food. We received high praise from our guests about the friendly and helpful staff and how delicious the food was. Most delicious wedding food

We had 5 total entree choices including a vegetarian and children option. The Cajun dusted salmon was SO good, and I heard from all of my guests that their meals (beef rib, chicken parm) was incredible too. The hors d’oeuvres were wonderful at the tasting, but as the bride I didn’t get any at the wedding.

The ONLY downside of my experience was that we had ordered boxed lunches for the bridal suite that were supposed to be delivered at 9 AM so that we could enjoy them whenever we wanted. However, when I asked for them around 11, they hadn’t arrived. Vonderhaars immediately brought them to our venue though. Such a minor inconvenience in the grand scheme of it all, and I wholeheartedly recommend them.

Best Wedding Food Ever

Funky’s is the best! They catered my wedding for ~200 guests and the food was amazing. I am still hearing guests say it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had!! We served a duet plate that included the short rib which I cannot recommend enough.

The staff was incredibly professional and on top of it. They know what they’re doing and are easy to rely on. They even took the time to prepare special dinner plates for me (bride) and the groom as we each wanted something a little different. Thank you Funky’s!!

Great vendor

Jan was wonderful! She arranged a tasting for us and worked around our schedule so I could come from out of town to help my daughter with the wedding decisions. She was able to accommodate special dietary needs of some of the guests. The food was great! I would definitely recommend them.

Fantastic!

I can’t say enough good thinks about this catering company! Excellent service from day one and super helpful. The staff onsite at the wedding were superb and went above and beyond to make my daughter’s wedding perfect. The food was amazing…so many compliments especially on the chicken and waffles!!! Best decision ever!

Absolutely one of the best decisions we made. Everything was delicious from appetizers to the buffet. We received compliments through out the evening how great the food was. Bridal shower for 40 people

Bridal shower for 40 people: I had given a bridal shower for my daughter who lives out of state. When I first called Jan to inquire about hiring them for the bridal shower, she was exceptionally helpful and kept in contact with me through the entire process. A total of 40 people attended the shower. The staff of Vonderhaar‘s catering was professional and friendly, and they gave stellar service. The food was delicious, and the presentation of the food was beautiful. Thank you Vonderhaar’s catering for making this bridal shower so memorable and special.

Excellent Communication & Food

My husband and I were completely wow-ed at our tasting with Vonderhaars. There were tons of options and we were able to customize things in numerous ways. We worked with Jan from the beginning, who was so helpful and responsive. We made some last minute changes to things the week of our wedding and Jan was helpful and friendly throughout the process. They also took care of ensuring our linens, silverware, and glassware was covered by working with those vendors on our behalf, which was so helpful. The day of the wedding, the servers were so friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, too! They have an option to have your filets cooked at the venue, which was a nice add on and we appreciated!!

Exceed my Expectations!

Vonderhaars was awesome to work with! They were so responsive throughout the planning process and went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed the day of. We had BBQ at our wedding and everyone RAVED about how good the food was! Overall, the service was top notch and the food got great reviews from our guests! What more could we ask for??

Excellent Choice

Vonderhaar’s was a great experience from beginning to end! The food was delicious at the tasting, and that great flavor did not change on the day of the event. Our contact with the company was attentive and understanding of our budget. She worked to keep all aspects of the meal and cocktail hour reasonable and offered great selections for our guests. We have heard nothing but compliments from our friends and family about how great the food was. You will not regret choosing Vonderhaar’s!

Amazing. Incredible!

Can’t imagine using anyone else. They were completely professional, prompt and communicative. The food is incredible! I don’t know how they do it but everyone raved about it. We can’t recommend them enough!

Excellent Service

Thanks to Covid19 we had to completely regroup with our reception plans. Jan at Vonderhaar's was so compassionate about the situation. And even though we had a much smaller reception (went from 200 to 24) we were treated the same exact way. You can really tell people and their needs are Vonderhaar's first priority. The evening went perfectly and the food was exactly as expected. The servers were professional and the whole set up was also exactly as expected.

Ease and Pleasure

Less than three weeks before my wedding, I had to replan my entire reception. I switched venue locations and needed a caterer. I reached out to Vonderhaar and they were amazing. They did not hesitate to help me plan my wedding dinner, even though it was so close to the day. They answered all my questions and were a pleasure to work with.

Great food! Great service!

I had the privilege of having Vonderhaars cater my son's much smaller reception in my home. The food was delicious. The staff were outstanding. They really helped to make our evening very special despite the changes that needed to be be made to make things safe. They will be with us again next year, and I look forward to that.

Delicious food, above and beyond service

The staff at Vonderhaar's was so professional and responsive. I was planning a wedding in a month and half and Kelly was on top of everything. They were also very flexible in any food item changes. It is not often that you can say that the food at the event tasted better than at the tasting! I loved the variety of menu items and that you could customize the menu. The food was absolutely delicious! I greatly appreciated them allowing my now husband and I to bring a non-alcoholic drink as our signature drink to showcase my culture. At the wedding, the service was above and beyond. I also appreciated that the staff at the wedding wore gloves and masks the entire time. They were very attentive, polite, and professional. When the salted caramel drizzle was not supplied with our wedding cake, the chef made us the salted caramel! The staff wore gloves and masks the entire time, and the overall service was so attentive! I highly recommend them for any event! I will definitely use their services again.

Unbelievably flexible. Look no further.

These guys are seriously amazing.

We hired them to cater our wedding in fall of 2020 which, of course, means that all of our plans got changed last minute.

Our venue cancelled on us with 5 days until the wedding and vonderhaars was insanely flexible. No matter what scenario I threw at them they basically just answered "yes, we can make that happen".

Despite our entire wedding completely changing shape at the very last possible minute, these guys seriously were integral in making that wedding damn near perfect.

The food was impeccable, the staff was timely and friendly, extremely good at communicating with us through the whole process and as I already said, incredibly flexible.

I legitimately couldn't reccomend them highly enough. Thanks for a fantastic wedding night guys.

Amazing wedding catering

We worked with Kelly and she was amazing! She was very responsive and helpful any time I reached out. With things changing so often because of COVID, Kelly made sure to be on top of things and help us out. The day of the wedding, everyone was so friendly from the bartenders to the catering staff. The food was outstanding! Everyone was talking about how great our food was! I would highly recommend them for any event!!

Cream of the crop

Vonderhaars catering team is incredibly professional, friendly, and not to mention their food is delicious! The chicken we had as one of the entree options at our wedding reception was some of the best we've ever had! You don't need to worry about it being dry. Everything was delicious and we've had guests continue to tell us how impressed they were with the food. Vonderhaars team was also incredibly responsive. We had a mixup with the ice cream we order to be served with our cake and they were kind enough to mail us pints of the ice cream we had initially requested. Best of the best! You will not be disappointed!

Amazing Customer Service and Food!!

Vonderhaars was by far one of the easiest choices we made. By our tastings, all the way to the night of the wedding, they were so easy to work with. Best covid wedding ever

The staff helped make my day absolutely perfect! We decided to still have our wedding this year and everyone that came to work our wedding was friendly, hardworking and knew exactly what they were doing. They had my venue cleaned up at 11:15 and the wedding ended at 11 and everyone couldn’t stop talking about how good the food was! They truly do the most amazing job and I will recommend them to everyone!

Couldn't be happier!

I am so glad that my husband and I decided to go with Vonderhaar's to cater our wedding day! Jan was an absolute pleasure to work with and was so accommodating, especially when COVID through a wrench in our original plans. The entire crew that worked our wedding night, from our bartender to the captain, were extremely friendly, professional, and made us and our guests feel like kings and queens. We were also so happy with the quality of the food- not your average "okay" wedding food that is overpriced and overcooked. Every single one of our guests RAVED about how delicious everything was. I cannot recommend this company enough!! They will truly take care of you and do everything in their power to make your day, and everything leading up to it, a wonderful experience. Unforgettable Night

We were a bit nervous going forward with our wedding on 10/3/20 due to covid, but Vonderhaar's went above and beyond to make our day feel as close to normal as possible. Our wonderful event captain checked in with us throughout the night to make sure we were always taken care of. Our guests couldn't stop raving about how delicious the food was and how well the staff took care of everyone. We would highly recommend Vonderhaar's Catering, you won't regret it!

Amazing Service and Food!

Helped transform our wedding!

We've always been a fan of Vonderhaar's Catering, so there wasn't really a question when we decided to book them for our wedding. Now that the big day is over, I am so thankful we used them. Due to the pandemic, we changed our wedding drastically into a backyard wedding and cut our guest list from over 250 guests to just under 50. They were so flexible working with us to change the menu and secure all our rentals (tent, chairs, tables, etc.). On the day of, they pampered us with delicious food and excellent service! All of our guests had nothing but great things to say about the delicious Italian buffet and wonderful service. After the ceremony and before we left for photos, I was quite hungry, so they brought out some appetizers for us to eat since we would likely miss most of the cocktail hour - and remembered which one was my favorite! And when final call for drinks was announced, they knew my husband and my drink order and brought us out one final drink so we could stay dancing with our friends and family. I would highly recommend using them in the future for any catering needs, large or small. We'll be turning to them next year for our anniversary party/postponed reception!

Vonderhaar's Catering Review

My husband and I used Vonderhaar's for our backyard wedding reception and they were absolutely AMAZING from the start of the planning process to the very end of our reception night. They were so receptive to changes big and small that we had to make because of COVID-19. We went from a guest list of 350 at a country club to a guest list of 125 in my husband's aunt's backyard. They were professional, prompt and flexible throughout the planning process. I was AMAZED how they executed our hand passed hors d'oeuvres and plated dinner entrees. The amount of thought and precision that went into making sure everyone had their dish in a timely manner, especially those with gluten and/or allergy restrictions, appeared effortless. We received SO many compliments on all of our food selections. Special thank you to Don & Lori for all of your time and energy you put into making our day so incredible. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU! I would highly recommend Vonderhaar's to anyone planning a large or small wedding reception. You will not be disappointed!

Very flexible and personable!

Outstanding!

Don Vonderhaar and his team could not have been better! Unfortunately, due to Covid restrictions, we had to adjust our plans 2 months before the wedding. Don managed our whole outdoor wedding reception and family picnic the next day. Our backyard was transformed into a magical setting...the layout, tent, lighting, dance floor was all perfect! The food was prepared on site and was outstanding! Our guests loved the food and could not wait for the picnic buffet the next day! The Vonderhaar team was extremely professional and went above and beyond.
The staff took care of everything at our home. We did not worry about a thing the whole weekend! We truly were guests at our own party!

Couldn’t have asked for more!!!

Vonderhaar’s did an incredible job catering our wedding! Jan helped us with the initial quote and the menu planning and always got back to us quickly. Our captain, Laurie, confirmed everything with us several days before the wedding and she an excellent job the day-of, as did all of the servers assisting her! We were impressed with Vonderhaar’s every step of the way, from the first phone call to the end of the reception. They were kind, professional, and very accommodating (even amid a global pandemic). On top of the wonderful service, the food was DELICIOUS - it truly exceeded all expectations! We had multiple guests tell us that it was the best food they’d ever had at a wedding. Cathy and Joe's Wedding/Reception

In choosing a caterer for a wedding, it almost feels like buying a car. You feel like they will impress you with a shiny product, but when it gets to the details, they’ll stick it to ya! How disappointed we were that this was not the case with Vondehaar’s!

Cathy did a lot of research for various catering companies for our wedding and reception. We developed a short list and went shopping. The first catering company we met with was Vonderhaar’s. We met with Jan. Holy cow… this was supposed to be so difficult! It was anything but painful. We were so fortunate to have visited this company first.

Working with Jan, she was ALWAYS on top of changes with all details nailed down for contract updates. Jan responded quickly and was the main reason why we were happy to work with this company.

Then we tasted their food at our tasting session. Not only were we very impressed, but later at our wedding reception the guests had only compliments! We still (months later) have people telling us how good the food at our wedding reception was, and that it was the best they’ve had at any wedding!

Lori was the Vonderhaar’s Captain on the day of the wedding. Lori and the Vonderhaar’s staff were ultra professional, and the day ran smoothly with all details being covered.

At Vonderhaar’s the staff is extremely professional, the cooks make food above and beyond what you’d expect at a wedding reception, and the prices were very fair. Save time, pick this company for your event and enjoy your special day!
