Devonna/Funky Olive is Amazing!

Devonna is absolutely incredible! She beautifully executed our vision for our wedding invitations and stationary. We continue to order stationary from her to this day! I can't thank her enough for her exceptional work. I highly recommend working with her!

The absolute BEST!

I'd give more than 5 stars if I could! This has hands down been my favorite of all our wedding vendors to work with. Not only is the work simply amazing and beautiful, but they are so easy to work with, attentive and quick to reply, accommodating of all tweaks and requests I had, and just overall fun and kind! Our pieces all came out perfect, and I loved following them on instagram and seeing the other incredible creations they made, too. You won't regret reaching out :)

Absolute best out there!

I cannot recommend Funky Olive enough. Devonna and Julianne not only completely nailed the wedding invitations I was looking for, but they also put together the most beautiful invitation suite I could have ever dreamed of. I got so many texts from guests telling me it was the prettiest invitation they'd ever seen! Devonna is so nice, communicative and easy to work with - truly a dream vendor.

Stunning invitations!

Funky Olive created the most beautiful invitation suite for my wedding and made very single detail perfect. They brought my dreams to life with their amazing creativity. Devonna and her team are absolutely wonderful to work with. Planning a wedding and getting all of the guest information can be stressful but they made everything so seamless and easy. If you are a bride in NM or really anywhere, they are the BEST in the business.

Gorgeous stationary, impeccable design & service

Devonna and team are true gems. They helped us during the pandemic when our wedding was downsized due to our venue. They made our save the dates, invitations, day of stationary, menus, and favor tags. The whole suite matched our style perfectly, everything was on time and the service was great. If you care about the little details, definitely go to Funky Olive.

Where to start with Funky Olive...when my husband and I were reflecting on the wedding planning process, we decided Funky Olive was our absolute FAVORITE wedding vendor. AMAZING two for two!

I first met/discovered Devonna and her wonderful team at Funky Olive when they did BEAUTIFUL invitations for my sister’s wedding 5 years ago. I was incredibly impressed by the uniqueness and personalization that went into the entire process. Naturally, when it came time to design my own wedding invitations I only had Devonna with Funky Olive in mind, I didn’t even consider another option. She was once again, brilliant and was able to create invitations for my fiancé and I uniquely for our style as a couple. Meeting her again 5 years later, she remembered my sister and I which spoke to how devoted she is to her clients. Once again, the creative juices started to flow as we met and we created yet another unique design for my wedding. You cannot go wrong choosing Devonna and her team. They are AMAZING from beginning to end and the quality of work is on point! Our wedding photographer mentioned to me that he sees tons of wedding invitations and by far ours were the best he’s seen :) THANK YOU DEVONNA!

Gorgeous colors!!

Ohhh man!! Devonna and the Funky Olive team did a FANTASTIC job on our wedding invitations!! There are seriously too many choices out there. Honestly, I found Funky Olive by googling "simple, unique, succulent wedding invitations". I save a screenshot of the sample i saw online and showed it to our families. Everyone loved it! And although Funky Olive gives you a plethora of customization options, all we needed to change were the names and the locations (well, we might've had to change the font also...the older folks can't read the pretty script these days, you know). Devonna was super easy to work with and kept us up to date with all the proofs and everything.
Thank you so much, Devonna and the Funky Olive team!! You guys did an amazing job designing our wedding invitations!!!

Very attentive to details and professional!

Our wedding planner recommended Funky Olive to us because they could do everything from invitations to menus and big boards outlining our wedding timeline and guest seating all with our same theme! They were very creative and responsive. We contracted all invitations plus day of wedding stationary. They are very reasonably priced!

Devonna made us our absolutely gorgeous wedding invitations. She was very accommodating and was willing to meet with us several times to make sure that our invitations were exactly what we wanted. We wanted laser cut, pockets, vellum, and a few inserts, and Devonna executed them perfectly. Multiple guests mentioned how impressed they were with our beautiful, unique invitations. We got everything we wanted, and Devonna's work was such high quality. We really enjoyed working with her and would recommend Funky Olive to any engaged couples.

Devonna at Funky Olive designed and printed my wedding invitations, RSVP cards, Rehearsal Dinner invites, wedding programs and table numbers and let me tell you she did a fabulous job! Throughout the process she was prompt with her replies (a godsend for a wedding vendor) and she delivered each product on time or ahead of schedule in some cases. If you are reading this, stop and just use The Funky Olive. Devonna and her team are just wonderful. They are calm and creative. They gave us so much to think about for invitations and were so patient as we decided. The branding that they did for my daughter's wedding was exactly what we wanted. The save the dates, the invitation, the programs, the place cards....everything was so coordinated. That is exactly what we wanted. This is a creative vendor that I would use again.

Devonna was a true gem to work with! She worked together with me and my husband for countless hours to make sure every stationary detail of our wedding was perfect! She was flexible and responsive and did a number of proofs with no additional charge until everything was exactly how we envisioned. Devonna also has wonderful creativity! She took my ideas and inspiration photos and made them a true reality! Ultimately, Devonna made our vision come to life - making our entire invitation suite match but without being over-the-top with fonts or crazy designs. I received so many compliments on all of our stationary and I have already recommended Funky Olive Designs! I cannot wait to use Devonna in the future for any other paper good needs I may have!!

Devonna did an amazing job with my wedding invites! She is able to create custom designs and has a great ability to listen to your ideas and transfer that to paper. You can bring any idea imaginable and she can probably make it happen. She was easy to work with and was very professional throughout everything. She also did table number cards and escort cards or the reception that turned out lovely. I really liked that I was able to support local too!

At first my fiance and I looked at four different companies to work with on making a custom invitation. I settled on Pennysmith Paper because I felt the size of their store and the large staff would allow them to focus on our needs more. However, my time with them was bad and was getting worst leaving us with little time to send out our invitations. We reached out to Devonna for help and everything came together perfectly in two weeks. Devonna went above and beyond to help my fiance and I to create a custom wedding invitation in both English and Spanish. She was quick to respond to any of our concerns and changes. Her pricing was clear and never diverted with hidden fees. She really cared about us by making this process fun and stress free especially with a custom invite. She understood quickly what our vision was and made it happen in a short amount of time. We couldn't be more happy with our invitations and our guests love them.

We initially used Funky Olive Design for our invitations. The service and product were impeccable. Devonna was able to figure out what we liked, created it, and provided exemplary service. Though I am the queen of procrastination, Devonna was flexible and still provided a great product in less time. Needless to say, we went back to order day of stationary including escort cards and table signs. We will be going back a third time for thank you cards.

Devonna with Funk Olive Design Company created the most beautiful and fully custom wedding invitations for our wedding! She was so kind and made sure she knew exactly what we wanted. She had so many examples of different designs for us to look at and we just picked what we liked from each one to create exactly what we envisioned. She is so organized and always met all the deadlines she promised. Planning a wedding can be a bit of a headache sometimes but this was an area that was completely stress free thanks to Devonna! She can truly create anything you want and does it in a timely manner. Her prices are great, too! That had a big hand in helping us decide on an invitation vendor. After shopping around and seeing higher prices from vendors that couldn't even make things completely custom, the choice was clear. And did I mention she completely assembles all the invitations and mails them for you? That includes addressing, stamping and sealing all the envelopes. She can also do any other printing you might need for your wedding. She did custom cocktail napkins, thank you cards and so much more for us! We will likely continue to use Devonna for all of our printing needs in the future too! I would absolutely recommend her!

Devonna did a wonderful job creating our invites, table numbers, and menu cards. I located the design I liked via her existing designs, let her know which colors I'd like and the sizes we planned to use (we printed our own), and she took it from there. Communication was seamless and the product was beautiful and easy to print.

Devonna worked with us to design custom invitations for our wedding. She really listened to what we wanted and got a feel for our theme. We made multiple changes (and then changed back!) and she rolled with it, assuring us that she wanted our invitations to be just right and didn't mind all the back and forth. She made this process fun and enjoyable! I appreciate all her hard work and creativity. Our invitations are absolutely beautiful and exactly what we wanted! :)

Devonna was very flexible and willing to work with us. I am somewhat particular about how things work (grammar, symmetry) and Devonna was willing and able to change things so they looked how I wanted them too. She was able to work around my schedule, I'm a teacher and unable to make many day-time appointments.

From the time I began working with Devonna in January 2014, she has been an absolute gem! Over the past 10 months, my stationery needs changed many times over the course of planning and Devonna was always there to make any and all revisions or suggestions. Every experience I had was fantastic. The pricing was fair, she was quick to respond anytime I contacted her and she was willing to answer all questions. She was prompt when it came to producing a final product setting out an accurate completion date and meeting it. My invitations surpassed my expectations and Devonna was very enjoyable and understandable through the whole process.

Devonna was so great! She did my wedding invites and my bridal shower invites. I made a mistake with amount of bridal shower invites and was so accommodating and got me more invites with envelopes that day. She did everything I asked for and more. Love!

Devonna was a pleasure to work with on our wedding invitations. She was extremely creative and open to our needs and budget. She made everything extremely easy and did it in a timely manner! We are SO happy we didn't go with premade invitations, she designed our own and it was an amazing price! We would do it all over again :)

Devonna created the most wonderful wedding 'save-the-dates', invitations and day-of pieces for our wedding! She is creative, easy to work with, and creates absolutely stunning work. One relative in his 70s told us it was the most beautiful wedding invitation he had ever received. Her work was professional, flawless, and really set the mood for our celebration.

Devonna was FABULOUS and I would recommend her to anyone! I saw a pattern online and just HAD to have it. Devonna worked with me to make everything so custom and beautiful at very reasonable prices! She even edited something last minute and I still had everything on time. She was a pleasure to work with, very professional and made me feel like I was her only priority. Everyone raved about how beautiful all of our paper goods were. Definitely consider her for any of your invitation needs - she's the best!!

I couldn't have asked for better invitations! Funky Olive made sure to give us exactly what we requested. Our invitations were amazing!!! I can't wait to order from Funky Olive again :) I would recommend her any occasions !

Devonna made beautiful save the dates for my upcoming wedding. We communicated solely online as we were in different states, and it worked out fine. The save the dates also were dlivered with very nice packaging. I will use Devonna for my invitations and other paper goods for my wedding.

The Funky Olive Design Company was fantastic to work with. My invitations for my husband's were amazing and I hit nothing but compliments. And she also created me wine labels as those were the party favors and enlarged the label so I could get a poster done. More than I could have asked for. She did an amazing job!! Thank you so much!!
Plus my husband was beyond surprised!!

Devonna was incredibly helpful! I came to her last minute with a rush request for invitations and she was able to work with me quickly to come up with a design that was perfect for her. She's extremely responsive and easy to work with. The invitations were BEAUTIFUL and tied in perfectly to our theme. I'm looking forward to working with her again for all of my day of signage themes and am so happy I'll be able to get custom signs that are consistent with my invitations.

Devonna went above and beyond to create a set of invitations that fit our wedding theme and our personalities perfectly! She's so accommodating, very creative, and full of ideas. It was so awesome to be able to start from scratch, name a theme and some colors, and get 100% original and custom work. I love our invites and I got lots of compliments on them. I was more than satisfied with my service from Devonna. She was very professional and always corrected anything I needed changed and was extremely efficient!! For christmas I needed a last minute design for Christmas cards and within a few days she sent me my final proof to be printed. I will be a returning customer for baby shower invites, baby announcements etc. I will always recommend Funky Olive to all my family and friends!!!

Devonna at Funky Olive is the best! I LOVED our invitation set. She is so sweet and bubbly throughout the design process and always works to ensure that you are happy with your final product (she even made us custom outer lace bands, which involved lots of tedious cutting on her part). If you want beautiful invations mixed with unique graphic design Funky Olive is the way to go, you will not be disappointed.

Devonna and I have been friends for a long time, so when I got engaged I immediately thought of her for our invitations. She was awesome to work with. Her prices are good, and she designed a wonderful invitation suite just for us. I couldn't be happier with the results. We got many compliments on how nice the invitations were. Devonna answered every email and phone call quickly, and worked with us to give us exactly what we wanted.

Disappointing experience

Very disappointed with the process we went through with Devonna and Funky Olive. We went to Devonna in October 2020 to help us get invitations out for our November wedding. They were rushed and not completed by the deadline. I wanted these to go out 6 months prior and when I reached out in March Devonna said she hadn’t even touched them. She blames me for not having artwork ready while there was only one piece missing and the rest could have been worked on. They ended up being rushed and not completed by the expected date. She again blames me for this as well. Even after sending examples of what I was looking for my fiancé spent his own time creating a draft to send to her just to get it somewhat to look like what we wanted. Once we approved the final draft she sent it to another printed to be completed- she told me she would proof them and make sure they were up to standard before printing all of them but never showed me this proof. Because they were not printed in house the maps on the invited did not line up, color quality was significantly duller than the provided proof, she left a marker slash on one of the pages and the image on the back panel was extremely pixelated. Rather than checking before she printed them she printed all our invitations this way and then handed them over to me.
By the end of the process we chose to have them re-printed at Pennysmiths instead and paid LESS THAN HALF THE PRICE for a design and print quality that was much better. I have heard from others that this company has been difficult to work with and I should have listened. Devonna chose to refund only $225 of the $1115 we paid for 75 invitations that we never even sent out. She has continued to blame me for the errors in the process and has chosen not to take responsibility beyond a less than adequate refund. I wish I would have read a review like this prior to going to her. Save your money and go elsewhere if you want something unique! As an additional note, I did reach out to Funky Olive and gave them more than one chance to remediate our issues prior to writing this review. I wanted to give them a fair chance to resolve the issues- I am simply reporting how it was handled and my personal experience.
