Mary is wonderful!

Mary is the absolute best at what she does! We highly recommend her. She is very organized and is very helpful when it comes to creating your ceremony. Her first priority is for you to know that it is Your day and that the ceremony should be exactly what you want it to be! Everyone loved her and she just makes you feel comfortable right from the beginning. We are so happy we went with Mary!

Wonderful experience!

I had heard reviews about Mary, so I expected to be working with a professional, but from the first meeting it was apparent that Mary truly cares about all her clients. We left our first meeting with Mary feeling like we were working with family. She was kind enough to choose a meeting place that was convenient for everyone, and passed no judgement in the customized ceremony we ended up building. When the wedding day came, she lived up to her reputation and delivered a beautiful ceremony. We are so happy that we chose Mary as our officiant!!

Mary was so amazing and helpful!

Mary is just an sweet amazing woman! She helped us with the whole process to meeting her to the day I got married. She saved my ceremony with bringing her own music and speakers when my dj showed up late! I went with her because my cousin went with her. I would recommend Mary to anyone that is getting married!

Sweetest, sincere officiant we could ask for

Mary is amazing. She answered any questions that we had, made herself available at all times. The ceremony made it seem like she's known us our whole lives. Would 100% recommend her for anyone looking for someone to marry them.

Saving grace...

When I had searched for a wedding officiant , Mrs. Mary was one of the search results that popped up. We were cutting it extremely close and I had started praying for God to send us help and that’s when Mary stepped in. Mary is MORE then an officiant, she’s a planner, organizer , rule enforcer, advice giver, and so much more. Our first meeting I could just tell that this was the one for us and how courageous she was with my children just sealed the day. Us, being young we didn’t have any idea where to start but Mary had all the information and timelines that made the process so much smoother. We had a change up the day of the wedding but guess what? Mary rolled with the punches and kept all of us from feeling lost or anxious... I’ll be forever grateful for Mary .

Amazing!

Mary, is AMAZING !!!!!!!! She was there for us every step of the way! She could answer any little question I had. She even took her time to work around our schedule with having little ones. We met at chick fla and they were able to play the whole time during our meetings!!! Again she was beyond AMAZING WE LOVED HER!!!!!

The Most AMAZING Officiant Ever!!!!

From start to finish, Mrs. Mary was AMAZING!! She made us feel so comfortable for the whole process of renewing our vows ceremony we wanted. The first meeting with her, she provided us with so much information to prepare us thoroughly. And then every meet there after was great, to include excellent communication through email/text. The ceremony itself was beautiful!! Everyone raved about it! I would refer her to everyone we know. We love you Mary!!!

Happiest day of our lives

Mary was the greatest officiant we could have asked for. She was referred to us by my Dad who is in the wedding business and has met her through weddings he has done. When we reached out to her she responded with nothing but kindness and a warm heart. She is truly a wonderful person and thanks to her our wedding was the happiest day of our lives. We met with her twice before the wedding, 6 months out and 3 months out but it may be different for you depending on how early you book her. Our first meeting she filled us in on all of the details and asked us all of the right questions and we got to know each other. From the first meeting, we could tell she genuinely cares about her clients. Then our second meeting we shared our vows with her (but don't worry you really don't need to give those to her until the day before the wedding). She also assisted us on our wedding rehearsal the day before the wedding. Our wedding venue is even familiar with her so that made things go very smoothly because she knows the 'lay of the land' and what to expect from the venue. Her fees were also very reasonable. She made the marriage license process seamless and put us at ease when the process sounded daunting and answered all our concerns. We would highly recommend Mary as a wedding officiant!

Amazing from the start!

Mary was amazing from start to finish. She was flexible with times when we had to meet. She came up with a poem/prayer to read during our ceremony to include those who are no longer with us, especially my dad. She’s very personable and what’s to do what the couple asks.

The Day We Dreamed About

Mary Rahall became a lifelong friend from the moment we met her. We were looking for someone to help guide us through the marriage ceremony and to craft its attendant verses to properly express our dedication and love for each other. We were an older couple and wanted our event to have the depth and beauty of the love we shared for each other and for our family and friends. Mary had the experience and knowledge to help us create a fun but meaningful ceremony allowing our children and grandchildren to be an integral part of the event. She made the day the one we had long dreamed about. We give her our highest recommendation.

Mary was awesome! A high school friend had recommended her ( as Mary married her and her husband), and so I called Mary. And after the first conversation with her, I knew she was perfect! Mary was absolutely perfect! We could not have asked for someone better to marry us. She listened to exactly what we wanted and executed it perfectly! She is incredibly responsive to email, phone calls and does everything possible as a minister, but also a friend. She goes above and beyond leading up to the day but the actual wedding day she is almost like another wedding planner, accomodating, comforting and loving. She was more of a guest in our eyes than a part of the wedding ... she ensured our day was as special as it could possibly be. We could not be more grateful, thankful and pleased with the service we received from someone who has now become so near and dear to our hearts. We adore you, Mary!

Mary officiated our wedding just over a month ago at Chesapeake Beach Resort on May 26th 2018 and she is amazing, a real pro + . Mary made things so easy by supplying types of ceremonies and vows to choose from which took all of the guess work out and elevated allot of stress with trying to create vows from scratch. She was always early for meetings and a true pleasure to meet and work with. I would recommend Mary to anyone I know looking to get married our entire family loved her and she was direct yet friendly & sweet with letting everyone know their role in the wedding party.

Ms. Mary is phenomenal and she made our wedding absolutely perfect!! The moment we met her we knew she was the perfect fit. She was always early to our pre wedding meetings, she guided us through the wedding process. We would highly recommend her to any couple! Mrs. Mary isn’t just someone who you work with or someone that marries you, it’s as if she becomes part of your family. Out of all of our vendors, Mrs. Mary was hands down the easiest to work with. She makes it clear that it is your day and whatever you need her to do will be done and you will head into your big day with no worries as far as the officiant is concerned. Mary was absolutely wonderful!!! We met her at a bridal expo three weeks after we got engaged and instantly fell in love with her. She was the second vendor we booked (second only to booking our venue). We were so happy to have her from the very beginning of our wedding planning experience. She worked with us to design our ceremony exactly how we wanted it and allowed us to pick and choose exactly what readings and blessings we wanted and supported our choice to write our own vows. Another plus side to booking her so early was that she was able to recommend any sort of vendor we were looking for. Having worked in the area, she knew who to recommend and who not to recommend. With her help, our wedding day came together perfectly and she was there whenever we needed her. I can't imagine our wedding with anyone else. If you are looking for an officiant, there is no one better than Mary!

Working with Mary was absolutely wonderful, from our first meeting to the wedding ceremony! My husband and I are usually on opposite work schedules so it can be tough to set meetings we can both attend, Mary was so flexible with our schedules and able to meet on dates and times so my husband and I could both be there. In meeting with her she really took the time to get to know my husband and I and made everything so personal. She was always available to help or answer questions. When we first met with Mary she gave us so much information including sample ceremonies and wedding vows, which helped so much since me nor my husband wanted to write our own. Mary was so accommodating with making changes to the samples that fit us better so our ceremony was more than just an insert your name here but something special and personal. My husband and I are still getting compliments on our wedding ceremony 2 months later and I think Mary has a large part to do with that. You can tell she is a true professional and she made us feel like family. I have already recommended her to a few people looking for an officiant and will continue to recommend her to anyone who asks!

I waited way too long to find an officiant. Probably a month and a half before the wedding. I contacted Mary because she was referred to us by our venue. She called me back immediately and was an absolute delight. She made us feel loved and cherished and provided a ton of options for how to do our ceremony. She made the ceremony so special and was extra kind and accommodating. I cannot say enough positive things about her.

Mary is a joy to work with! My husband and I loved having her apart of our day. She wants her couples to be happy because it's "their" day. She takes the stress out of planning the ceremony! She is very accommodating, Hubby and I had to change dates after we had already booked our date with her and were worried she wouldn't be available on another day so soon but she looked over her busy schedule and helped us come up with a new date where she was able to marry us! We were thrilled!! I first met Mary back in 2011 when she married my sister and her husband. She left such a great impression that I knew I wanted Mary to marry my fiance and I. From day one, Mary was great to work with. She really takes the time to get to know you as a couple and guides you through the whole process. I would highly recommended Mary!

Our initial meeting with Mary was very helpful and it felt like we were going to lunch with our grandmother. She went over everything and was very understanding. She's the sweetest lady we've ever met and she was willing to work with us on every detail to make sure everything went exactly how we wanted it. She offered both religious and nonreligious speeches/ceremonies and we could mix and match whatever we wanted from all of the scripts she already had in place. She was very flexible and went above and beyond above anything we would have expected out of an officiant. We got married out of state so she was willing to Skype with us (although she never used Skype before in the past she admitted) and she gave us her personal cell phone number so we could text or email her with any questions or last minute changes we wanted to make. She was very understanding and accommodating when we had to change the rehearsal time at the last minute and basically just said "Just tell me where I need to be and what time and I'll be there." She always came early to all of our meetings and to the event just in case and worked very well with the other vendors there to make sure we got the most out of our wedding experience. We would recommend her to anyone getting married in the MD area.

Mary is absolutely wonderful and was such a pleasure to work with! My husband Brett and I knew we wanted her to marry us from the moment we got engaged so we made sure to contact her as soon as we picked the date! Mary was available anytime to answer any questions I had related to officiating the wedding or not! She makes you feel so comfortable from the moment you meet her. She couldn't have been more professional or accommodating ! Mary also guided me through the process of changing my last name and even took our marriage license to the courthouse for us! I have had the honor of Mary marrying my husband and I, as well as baptizing both of my daughters. She has also married a few of my friends, and my mother in law as well. She is nothing less than wonderful! She helped me with everything for the wedding from invitations to planning the wedding schedule itself. Mary Ann was the highlight of our ceremony. She was so gracious to our guests and family. She truly cares and is so warm and welcoming. She will talk with the guests and help seat people so it all goes smoothly. I have met her before at friends weddings and she is always the same, sweet and happy person. She is very responsive to any and all questions through out the whole planning process and is so helpful. She even copied our vows to special paper so it was easier to read the day of the ceremony. The little things she does and how much she loves what she does is what sets her apart from the rest. We loved having her as our officiant and couldn't imagine anyone else marrying us. Mary was great, she took care of us from day one! Our family is so lucky to have had Mary Rahall marry us in August! Mary is so sweet, professional, prepared, responsive and made me feel so relaxed. She was stellar throughout the entire process from the initial meeting to the rehearsal and, of course, she shined on the day of the wedding. My DJ was late to the ceremony and she made a professional, impromptu announcement to our guests.

We got Mary's name from our wedding venue, and we were very pleased with her services. Beyond the role of officiant, she was our personal consultant on how to make the ceremony one that was truly personal to us. We loved that Mary was able to give us guidance on structure, many suggestions and some recommendations, and at the same time invited us to incorporate our own ideas into the flow of the ceremony. She was a delight to work with, and she is a terrific combination of sweet, caring, and sensitive with organized, detail-oriented, and meticulous. You will not be disappointed with Mary as your Officiant! She is so caring and sweet. She was very accommodating with our schedules and answered all of our questions and addressed any concerns we had. She was great with my 5 year old and he just fell in love with her. She treated us as if we were family and never pressured or rushed us in to anything. She checked in with us, was always early to every appointment, the rehearsal and the day of the wedding. She helped keep me calm. The ceremony was perfect! She included our loved ones who had passed, we did the sand ceremony, she let us make changes to words or certain things and just made us feel at ease. She really is the best!!!! 5 years after a earthquake, tornado, sinkholes and finally hurricane Irene...Mary Rahall and her family saved our wedding. She opened her home as the rain was pouring down and everything was closed down so that Curtis and I could say our I Dos. She is the best there is and she remained calm and collected through it all. She is so amazing that she even had a wedding cake, flowers and champagne for us. She will forever be part of my family!. She made sure our day was special even when Mother Nature was not so nice! Mary did a fantastic job officiating our daughter's wedding. She met with the bride and groom a couple of times before the ceremony to make sure they selected exactly what they wanted for their ceremony. Mary worked with the family the day of the rehearsal to be certain the mothers of the bride and groom were happy with the plans. Mary is so incredibly wonderful. She made us feel like family! I met her at two bridal expos in Calvert County about 14 months before our wedding and booked her shortly after because she books so fast! She helps you personalize your wedding so it's everything YOU want! At the final meeting she asked for everyone's names in the bridal party, including parents and grandparents, so she could remember them when we met again at the rehearsal. We wanted a particular song to play during the entrance of the bridesmaids and myself during the ceremony and the night before the wedding, my bridesmaids and I practiced the song over and over. We realized that our entrances had to be slightly different than what we rehearsed with Mary, so right before the ceremony my MOH told Mary the little change, and Mary was completely fine with it. She makes you feel so special and helps make the whole ceremony less stressful. Thank you, Mary!

Hiring Mary Rahall was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We originally met Mary at a wedding vendor event. We were looking for a vendor to help us with selecting wedding invitations. Mary was very accommodating and very knowledgeable about the whole wedding process and helped me with not only the wedding invitations. I was so pleased with her help that when our original officiant was unable to commit to our event - we instantly asked Mary to step in and it was the best decision that we made. Mary was AMAZING. We had originally booked another officiant but she had to withdraw due to family issues so she recommended Mary. We could not have been more pleased with her. She made every effort to meet with us and a time and place that was convenient for us. From the first day I met Mary and her daughter Julie at the La Plata Bridal show I fell in love with them. Mary had me in tears by the way she talked to me I felt her speak to my heart in the beautiful things she was saying and I knew she was the one I wanted to Marry me and my Fiancé. I met with her a couple of times and she helped me plan a unique ceremony that included my kids with a special sand ceremony and helped us chose unique vows. Mary is was very sweet and professional! Her personality made it extremely easy to sit down and talk with her like you have been friends for years! We changed our ceremony a few times (even on the actual day of the wedding) and Mary was flexible and completely understanding! The pricing of her services was more affordable than most vendors in the area. We met in person two times before the wedding which was nice since everything is done through email nowadays (which caused other aspects of our wedding to be short-changed). Her enthusiasm and love of weddings made our special day even more special! Highly recommend!
