Absolutely wonderful!
We LOVED having Dianne officiate our wedding! From our very first call, we knew Dianne was the officiant for us. We had only a little over a month to go before our wedding, and we didn't have anything specific in mind other than writing our own vows. Dianne worked with us on a beautiful ceremony and incorporated a lovely reading we selected. We would have been lost without her! After our ceremony, all of our guests were commenting on how wonderfully she spoke. We would recommend Dianne to anyone, she was truly a joy to work with and she'll make your ceremony incredible! -

Working with Dianne was an incredible pleasure. We were dealing with so many factors, including the pandemic, so reorganizing our vision to fit in our own home seemed like it was going to be a challenge, but Dianne worked with us to make sure the ceremony would be just as magical as anywhere else. She was also willing to lookup different options for us since we were open to a few different approaches to the ceremony. It worked out perfectly. -

Dianne is worth her weight in gold and we are so happy we made the choice to use her for our wedding ceremony! We had booked with Dianne about a year before our date and with our initial phone call we knew she was the right choice. My husband and I were one of the first couples effected by COVID and when speaking with Dianne during that very stressful time she remained calm and more than willing to work with us for our new date - with no extra deposits or rate change (I know of brides being screwed by vendors because of COVID.) My husband and I decided to marry on our anniversary with just immediate family and Dianne was more than accommodating and was able to marry us during that time.
One of the things I originally liked about Dianne's services is that she created a draft of the ceremony for you and your spouse to review and approve (or redraft if necessary.) I have been to weddings were the priest says something of tangent and going into a ceremony I didn't want that same scenario at our wedding and the drafting and editing created a ceremony that really encompassed my spouse and I. Dianne was responsive to emails and working with her was really an enjoyable experience! Thank you Dianne! -

Diane was an amazing officiant. I was part of the wedding party, and I knew the couple appreciated her leadership, insights, and talents. She made the wedding personal and everyone attended felt welcomed at the ceremony. I have been at weddings where the officiant doesn't connect with the audience, and that's not Diane. Diane is personal, customizes the wedding to the couple, and helps bring a community of people together to celebrate a special day. You should certainly consider working with Diane! -

Dianne was amazing!! She sent us multiple copies of our ceremony in the planning stages. Never meeting Dianne until rehearsal was no issue as she gave us the biggest hugs and made it seem like we have always known each other. My mom made some wishes the day of the rehearsal to Dianne and Dianne came through with them no problem! She was a god sent! Even our DJ suggested that Dianne read audible books for a living! -

My husband and I know we chose the perfect officiant for our wedding. We know that because the day after our wedding people were still talking about how special our ceremony was, how amazing and touching Dianne Patterson’s remarks were, and how they could honestly say it was the best ceremony they had ever been to. Everyone kept saying, who did your wedding? We happily replied, From the Heart Ceremonies. From the start working with Dianne was easy. Probably the most important thing she did at the beginning was taking the time to get to know us as a couple, no doubt this information was instrumental to her as she wrote our ceremony. The process of getting to that final ceremony was very straightforward and she always clearly communicated what she needed from us. She took lead in all parts of the planning and made sure we had an accurate timeline that would get us to our big day. As part of that timeline she sent us a questionnaire that encouraged us to write about our relationship, and in the meantime, she also sent along resources for ways to make our ceremony special. That was something we requested because we were not sure exactly what we wanted to do for our ceremony, other than knowing we were not overly traditional. Through this process we learned about having a Ring Warming which we decided to do, and Dianne helped us setup. That became another special way our ceremony stood out and was due to Dianne’s recommendation. After we finished the questionnaires Dianne began writing our ceremony script and as she sent us drafts she always asked us for our thoughts and edits. It was clear that she wanted to ensure our ceremony matched our expectations. In addition, when we did struggle to decide on what language to use in the ceremony or how to logistically manage a particular part, she offered a balanced perspective-never pushing one right way to do things. Her experience as an officiant shone through these moments, as she talked through what other couples had done and what had worked well for them. Our final ceremony was both deeply touching and incredibly us. It spoke to each of us individually, about our love and our bright future ahead. This inspired my fiancé and I to write our own vows, and on cue she gave us amazing resources to help us. She even helped to wordsmith our vows to ensure they struck the same emotional balance. On the day of the rehearsal Dianne took time to explain the ceremony to our wedding party and did a wonderful job of physically laying out how the event would occur. Her leadership (and again, communication) made the whole process a breeze and we finished up within thirty-minutes. As I stated above, the actual ceremony was a dream. It was everything we could have ever wanted. Dianne is a great speaker with clarity and volume balanced with precision and care. In fact, we were so confident in her abilities that we were able to relax during the ceremony and take more of it in. If you are looking for a professional officiant who can make your ceremony the talk of your wedding, Dianne is that person. We cannot recommend her highly enough, From the Heart Ceremonies will make your day unforgettable. -

Dianne was a dream to work with from the start of the process to the end. She was highly responsive and prompt with communications and had a clear timeline to keep us on track in crafting the perfect ceremony. We had a very specific idea for a ceremony and Dianne was all ears. She went above and beyond in researching all the elements of the religious ceremony we wanted. Her writing and speaking is impeccable and her words had our guests (and ourselves) laughing and tearing up, while not distracting from the sacarment we were recieving. If you want an officiant that will listen and take your words to heart in order to write a ceremony unique to you, please hire Dianne. Working with Dianne of From The Heart was a dream. She was incredibly warm and easy to work with. She was genuinely interested in listening to our story and talking about our life, love, and history. She worked with us to create the most customized and unique ceremony imaginable, which just showed further how much she listened to us when we told her stories from our life. Dianne is invested in not only the process of the marriage ceremony itself but also showcasing the unique aspects of the couple with which she is there for. Friends and family still speak about the ceremony as one of their favorite parts of our whole wedding, stating that it was so nice that it was clearly written for us and only us - something that seasoned wedding-goers hadn't seen before! Beautiful. Personal. Perfect.
Our wedding ceremony was nothing short of perfect. Not only was the wedding venue, weather, and music for our ceremony everything we could have asked for but having Dianne as our officiant just blew it out of the water. She is not only an easy vendor to work with, but if you give her your love story, she can tailor your ceremony to fit you to a T. I am still receiving complements from guests that our ceremony was one of their absolute favorites because of how personal and truly celebratory it was. Dianne took our jumbled story and turned it into a wonderful narrative. She also worked with us, individually, to help us review our personalized vows. Jodie Sent on 09/17/2018I just had my wedding on 9.15.18. After months of planning, it was amazing to see all the hard work come together for a perfect wedding day. Dianne , my now husband, and I met only once, but after our first meeting we were blown away with Dianne’s professionalism and dedication to her job. Her love for weddings was evident at the first sit down. Dianne got a feel for us as a couple on the first meeting, but she sent follow up emails and questionnaires to get more of a feel for us as a couple. She stuck to her timelines and gave us drafts of how the ceremony would be in a timely manner. Erica Sent on 03/20/2018Everything about Dianne's officiant services was excellent! First off, she was very accommodating to the fact that we live in South Carolina and were holding our ceremony back in our hometown in Upstate, New York.
She was extremely detailed oriented throughout the entire process of customizing every aspect of our ceremony to our preference. We set a timeline for completion and meetings along the way and she was prompt at every milestone.
Dianne attended our rehearsal all ready to make our wedding ceremony perfect. She definitely put us at ease on a day that can be quite stressful when you want everything to be perfect. We have received so many compliments from our guests about how well put together our ceremony was from the beginning to the end.

You won't regret working with Dianne
Covid changed our wedding plans and when we decided to elope in Upstate NY, I had to find an officiant. I'm so happy I found and connected with Dianne, she was so sweet and easy to work with via email to create the script for our ceremony. She made it feel very personal and just how I envisioned. On the day of, she was dressed beautifully and was so cheerful and warm, and just perfectly complemented our ceremony. She immediately felt like a friend of ours. I am so glad we hired her and wouldn't have had it any other way! -
