Great space!!

I love this all in one venue. This was perfect for my intimate wedding for my family and friends. Mr. Jeff and Cece were amazing and were very helpful. It also is a great place for pictures. My photographer had so many ideas from this space that she bought to life!

An Amazing Wedding Day

Jeff and CeeCee were absolutely amazing in helping me coordinate my wedding. Jeff was amazing and answering all of my questions from the beginning all the way to the end. Jeff was also very helpful by providing me with affordable catering, decoration, and other vendor contacts. Jeff assisted me with creating the seating arrangements and had the hall set up the night before. I couldn’t have asked for a more affordable wedding venue. Jeff even accommodated the small budget that I had for the wedding. All in all I had a great experience with Friday musicale, and if you are debating on choosing this venue I would say go for it. CeeCee was also the event manager the weekend of the wedding and she helped me get all of the last minute items needed for the wedding without having to go to the store (she’s heaven sent).

BEAUTIFUL Venue. Made everything Easy. Helped us out of a pinch

I know that's a long title, but I promise it could have been longer. Friday Musicale was amazing. They were so responsive and quick to help us. They helped us think through things that we probably would have missed/overlooked had they not been there to help us. When our decorator/florist backed out at the last second they were quick to recommend quality professionals to help. And of course, the venue was BEAUTIFUL. I had the best wedding ever there.

Simply Amazing

The staff Jeff and Mrs CC at Friday musicale went above and beyond to make sure our day was amazing! The venue was clean and perfect for our guests and if i had to do it all over again Friday musicale would be number one on the list all over again. Highly recommend!

Excellent experience

Friday Musical was perfect for my wedding. They were very professional and helpful for my event. This place is beautiful for weddings. The area is in the trendy riverside area. It's very nice and quiet. Plenty of restaurants and parks near by. I never met a venue that gives you advice for your wedding and help you the day of. It's like having an mini coordinator. They helped us until the day of my wedding. I am very hard to please and I highly recommend this place.

Amazing venue and service!

Fantastic and beautiful venue! We had constant and clear communication about prices, expectations and timelines. Friday Musicale supplied us with everything we could have asked for and gave us suggestions for things that they couldn't supply us. Jeff was a godsend. Planning a wedding during a pandemic is hard enough but without Jeff we could not have achieved it . BRILLIANT JOB

Perfect from beginning to end!

The Perfect Wedding

We fell in love with Friday Musicale from the first time we met with the Venue Director, Jeff Tawney. I was so nervous at my first appointment because my fiancé was still overseas. (Military) Jeff was so nice - took his time - answered all of my questions - gave me suggestions and recommendations. He even took the time to let me Facetime with my fiancé. While we were on Facetime, Jeff told us how they were non profit and the music connection for kids. This pulled at our heartstrings for sure. My fiancé dreams of being a music teacher someday. After the appointment, we talked about it and both agreed that Friday Musicale was the perfect place for our wedding. Jeff Tawney had so much to do with our choice. Our Wedding Day as Perfect! I would highly suggest Friday Musicale for any type of an event.

A beautiful spot with folks who are easy to work with!

We had our Happily Ever After Party at Friday Musicale and it was fantastic! Jeff and Emily accommodated our every want and had great ideas as well. They provide a lot of flexibility so you can make it your own unique event. They also worked closely with our vendors (who we got to choose!). It was perfect and looking forward to being a member of this venue that does great work in Jacksonville.

Easy Going

This was an excellent venue. Jeff was easy to work with and provided a lot of good pointers for enjoying set up etc. The day of event staff Ashley (I think that's her name) was very helpful and volunteered to help set up and breakdown., which was so unexpected. The venue is gorgeous and allows you to bring your own vendors which is a perk!

Perfect Venue!!!

We could not be more happy with choosing Friday Musicale for our wedding reception! The venue is absolutely gorgeous. The staff were all incredibly helpful and so much fun to work with. I wish we could do our wedding all over again just to have another event at Friday Musicale!!

Great Venue!

We had our wedding here - ceremony in L'Engle Hall and the reception in the BEAUTIFUL auditorium. Every employee I came in contact with was lovely and easy to work with. Jeff was awesome, knowledgeable and very flexible with some last minute changes that were made. Pictures don't do the auditorium justice - you don't need a lot of decoration because it is so beautiful and elegant on it's own. I would share better pictures but I don't have any others back yet.

Wonderful!

We had our daughter’s wedding and reception with Friday Musicale. (My youngest son & his wife had their wedding reception here 10 years ago - we loved it!).
The staff was so accommodating, friendly and professional.
On a side note - my youngest Granddaughter recognized the hall from a field trip she had taken a couple of years prior - she loved it!!!

Beautiful Canvas to bring to life your Dreams.

From start to finish Jeff and his team were absolutely amazing, they made everything so easy. We DIY'd most of our wedding (Not for the faint of heart) So Friday Musicale was perfect! We brought our own vendors, decorations, linens, etc; which made it super easy to cut back in certain areas and splurge in others. We had 55 guest and had the ceremony and reception in the Auditorium, there was still plenty of room to accommodate twice as many guests easily. LGBTQ+ Friendly :-)

Outstanding

We did not know about Friday Musicale until the original venue we had selected unexpectedly closed. Our caterer suggested Friday Musicale. Jeff, and everyone involved, were outstanding from day 1. The Friday Musicale venue L’ engle Hall, where we held the ceremony and the Auditorium, where we held the reception were perfect. The Auditorium with the crown molding and beautiful chandeliers needed no more decorations than the centerpieces on the tables. The stage was the right spot for the DJ to set up and even with tables for almost 120 guests there was still room for dancing. The Auditorium also has a full kitchen which made it very easy for our caterer. I can not recommend Friday Musicale highly enough for weddings or any event.

Beautiful Venue Beautiful Event

We were so happy with the whole facility and the staff was excellent. Jeff went above and beyond the call of duty at every turn and we were so pleased. Getting all the catering and cake deliveries and workers in without problems was a huge plus and the day before while setting up was a breeze with their help in planning. Publix in Riverside came to our rescue on a couple of catering issues and Jeff's suggestions were great.

Living My Best Life

We had a very successful Royal wedding at the Friday Musicale. Jeff has made everything such a smooth experience the whole time and gave us great suggestions to help us on our big day. We also loved the freedom of choosing our own vendors for our wedding. Jeff was always efficient and prompt. Emily was so good to us on our wedding rehearsal and day of. She was a blast to work with and made everything so easy. Will definitely be returning for a future event.

I had a very awesome experience having my wedding there. The staff was very professional and willing to make our special day happen with no issues and if there was issues they were quickly fixed.. very reasonable priced for rental.. they setup the tables per my layout and offered advice. Love the place! Highly recommended!

I would like to thank the staff of Friday Musicale especially Jeff:) It was my only daughter's high school graduation party, so I wanted to find a clean and classy place to have the event. I actually started about a year in advance looking for a place for it to be held. After checking several places for months, I stepped foot into Friday Musicale and there was no turning back. When I first walked into the building I was floored, it was so beautiful!!! The cleanliness of the place and the professionalism of Jeff is what caught my attention right away!! From day one Jeff worked with me to ensure the vision I had for this event would turn out fine, from offering me several vendor information to the actual layout of how my event would be set up. If I have to rent another venue in the future I will definitely come back to Friday Musicale!! Thanks a lot Jeff:)

The Academy of Music & Arts LOVES Friday Musicale. We have had all of our recitals there since we opened our business and will continue to do so. Everyone is so professional and helpful in every way from the top down!!! Our customers also love this venue. What a beautiful place, with so much history to create new and beautiful memories!!! Friday Musicale is an incredibly beautiful venue that is amazing for the value. Since the start of our wedding journey to our actual special day, Jeff and the rest of the staff at Friday Musicale were extremely attentive and professional. From tiny questions to big requests, the staff was so understanding and accommodating. We got so many compliments on our venue which had ample space and was very romantic. I would recommend Friday Musicale over and over again!

My Son and his fiancé choose Friday Musicale because it had a vintage feel to it and the price was in their budget. Jeff helped them to Coordinate all the details of the table layout and other details. We had the best evening ever. Everyone enjoyed themselves. Thank you Jeff and Friday Musicale

I had my Daughters Sweet 16 Party here and it was Awesome! Jeff Tawney was very kind and professional. He was always there to answer my questions and made sure that everything was just like we requested for my daughters special day. The building was beautiful, spacious and the staff was the best. We could not have chosen a more perfect reception venue. The Friday Musicale has always been near and dear to both of our hearts. The work they do for our community has enhanced so many lives; I wouldn't trade the time we spent there on our wedding day for anything in the world. It was pure magic. Jeff and his staff are great. The venue is clean, organized, and has plenty of parking. I would definitely recommend this venue for a wedding reception, though I have used them for mostly large banquet/dinners in the past.

I love Friday Musicale! For what you pay it absolutely cannot be beat - way better than a boring conference room at a hotel (which would cost twice the amount!).

The only thing I would suggest is hosting your event earlier in the evening - all your decor and food must be out the door by midnight - which is a feat when short handed! So make sure you leave ample time for that!

Friday Musicale was a very nice venue. I had my reception only here. But if you want it all one place that option is available as well. This is the perfect location when u want outside catering and decoration. I was able to create my dream within in my control. Jeff works with you to create a floor plan to fit your needs.

The staff were wonderful to work with. We rented Lengle Hall for a rehearsal dinner. The only thing I would say, is be sure to bring any kitchen supplies you will need. Everything was wonderful. Our dinner was a wonderful success.

Friday Musicale was a perfect event venue for our Wedding Reception. We got married at our family church and we had our reception at Friday Musicale's smaller venue which is next door at L'Engle Hall. It was the perfect size for our guests. We had 55 guests plus 10 in our bridal party. We loved the idea that we could decorate on our own. Tables and chairs were included, which was perfect. We had our favorite local BBQ restaurant bring in food. Friday Musicale was very open with letting us do our own thing. We were on a budget and they were the perfect place for us. The manager Jeff was very helpful from the second we met with him. He really helped us to realize how we could bring things together and make it work for us. He was helpful in referring us to different vendors and ideas as we needed them. Our wedding at the church was perfect. Our wedding reception was amazing. The venue exceeded our expectations. My wife and I really enjoyed everything.

Thank you Friday Musicale! What a great event space. We booked the space about a year ago and worked with Jeff at the space the entire year. Whenever we had questions, he was available. He always helped us with quick responses. As our Wedding Date got closer, Friday Musicale helped with our room layout and table placement. On the day of our event, everything went great! The staff was so professional the entire time. We got married in the hottest part of the year so I was suffering a little with my dress. They were right there to get me water and let me sit in front of a fan until things were ready to go. They were very helpful in the floor plan decisions for ceremony and reception. We were also able to use one of their other properties for photos. We looked at so many venues and fell in love with this one immediately. It was also really great knowing that our money was going to their non profit events and programs!

We booked Friday Musicale's smaller L'Engle Hall building for our wedding reception of about 70 people. It was just the perfect size for our reception and the hall was exactly what we were looking for. The Friday Musicale team was amazing! They went well above and beyond to help us out and were responsive to all our inquiries. During the setup night for the reception, we ended up taking much longer to decorate as we ran into several issues setting up and our chair delivery ran late since they delivered to the wrong address. As panicked as I was, Jeff was there to help calm the situation, gave us great advice for decorating, and was able to accommodate the situation. On the day of the wedding, Charlotte from Friday Musicale helped everyone get coordinated for the wedding party entrance and made sure that everything was covered after we tore down. I am so thankful for the team at Friday Musicale not only for their lovely reception hall, but for their amazing and friendly team! What a wonderful venue to celebrate the most important day of our lives, I will never forget it.

Friday Musicale was the perfect venue for our Wedding Reception. My mom and I fell in love with the space as soon as we pulled into the parking lot. We were very impressed with how clean and maintained everything was - both inside and outside. The staff were very nice. They always made it feel like we were the only priority. We loved the history behind the main Auditorium building as well. I was taken back how pretty everything was on my Wedding Day. The beautiful hardwood floors and the chandeliers. Everything was perfect. I also liked that we could hire our own vendors. That gave me a great comfort level. I would highly recommend Friday Musicale for future events. Jeff and his staff made our dreams a reality.

Jeff was the absolute best. He was always timely in getting back with my husband or myself with any questions we had. He helped with so much the day of the wedding, whether helping us to make sure my flower arrangements looked perfect, opening the door to the room I was in to make sure I was able to hear my que for walking down the aisle, double checking to make sure my friends and family didn't forget anything after cleaning up. Out of all of the different vendors I used for my wedding Jeff and Friday Musicale was by far the best!

As an out of town bride, it's always a little nerve wracking planning a wedding so far away from site, but Friday Musicale made it all a breeze. Communication was extremely timely and the venue was very accommodating to requests. Friday Musicale was one of the very few venues that would allow outside catering. On top of that, this venue had very affordable prices and proceeds go to historic preservation and education. The space fit our 120 guests (12 tables) perfectly and everyone agreed it was a very intimate setting. Loved it and would highly recommend.

This venue was so beautiful not only asthetically but in every way imagineable. Jeff was so helpful. More than anyone else you will ever find in this business. He worked with us to bring our vision to life and was an integral part of everything that happened.

WOW. Awesome place! Very beautiful! Jeff the manager was so helpful and gave expert advice on anything I needed. Friday Musicale holds a special place in my heart. Dancing with my bride was so special on that dance floor. If Jeff gives you some advice take it!!. He is one of the awesome factors of Friday Musicale.

Jeff and his staff was very great to work with. At the Friday Musicale everything I could have imagined came true. The venue was beautiful, we had our ceremony and reception in the same building and whenever I had any questions or concerns Jeff was there right on time and if he wasn't The staff was. I will definitely use this venue again
