Friar Tux is based in the west coast, I believe, but they were very accommodating to me living in North Carolina. For my wedding, they sent me a suit for free to try on to see if I like it, and we found the quality for the price to be very great. I’ve been in a few weddings, and I’ve never experienced such a level of quality, paired with a very fair price, as well as very caring & helpful customer service. I had to call several times during the process with questions, and their customer service is some of the best I’ve ever experienced. Very thankful for Friar Tux making my wedding a wonderful experience!

Friar Tux is the BEST!
Main Point: Friar Tux is the best!!! Use them if you want excellent service and handsome looking groomsmen!!!
Longer point: I had researched a few other places to rent/buy suits in our area, but kept circling back to Friar Tux. My husband had 3 groomsmen in our wedding who lived out of state, so we needed to use a company that could accommodate them. When we first went into the South Coast store it was so busy, but they got to us quickly and worked with us to find the aesthetic we were looking for. They were able to measure my husband right then and there, and place his order. Then, they created a plan for the groomsmen of exactly what they needed to rent and/or purchase so we could send that information to them. All the groomsmen had to do was send in their measurements and then pick up the order when they got to town. Our visit was efficient from start to end. (BTW I love the sign in/check out process). I also loved that I was able to add another shirt to the order because I was given the advice to have another shirt on hand in case the groom spilled, had an accident, etc. Friar Tux was so kind about it, and made sure we got it, even though I called them only two weeks before our wedding date. Overall, I love this place and would highly recommend to anyone. We are planning on returning in the New Year to purchase my husband his very first suit!
Additional tip: For any brides/grooms reading this review, grooms and groomsmen must return their rentals within 24 hours or there is a fee. Make sure you plan for someone else to return the grooms suit the day after the wedding, especially if you’re planning on going on a honeymoon right away.

Great Tux Variety and Awesome Staff!
As a wedding photographer, I have had the pleasure of working with Friar Tux since 2019. They are my preferred tux vendor for editorial and published projects that I have led over the years. Their team is responsive to emails, providing feedback and info in a timely manner. And their product photographs very well. The process of reserving items, picking up and dropping off is easy! Wonderful experience working with Friar Tux!
Friar Tux did such a great job with my wedding! Yajna was a huge help for my initial visit and then throughout the process, including helping coordinate with my groomsmen and other members of the wedding party. I also really appreciate Marissa, who was there the last two times I got fitted, who helped me a lot with helping choose the style and fit. I also really appreciate Friar Tux's selection, as I went with a less traditional burgundy tux, but they were still able to give me lots of options that fit well and made me feel great (I'm a big guy too, 6'5, 275 lbs). Even when I changed things at the last second, they were able to accommodate me and get me the updated pieces within a day. Such a great store and very affordable! Would definitely recommend Friar Tux to anyone.

My experience with Friar Tux was genuinely great from start to finish. They fitted me and my groomsmen for my wedding and took care of every detail with clear communication and quick responses. Friar Tux was so easy to work with, helpful, and honestly just a joy to collaborate with. Carry helped me pick out a suit during our virtual style sessions, sent me multiple different pairs of pants and jackets to suit my picky taste, and was always happy to help. Worry Free about the Groomsmen to be
I absolutely loved friar tux above the options we found for renting tuxes!! This way wasn’t online we went to the closest location, got professionally measured picked the colors for the groom and groomsmen and bang! We were pretty much done. they have enough locations that every single groomsmen made it before deadline to be fitted, I didn’t have to worry if they went to a different store asking for the same color which was a huge fear we had just been to a wedding where the groomsmen had multiple shades of blue because they were told just baby blue and they all got a different shade. Another thing was we wanted the groom to look cohesive but also stand out. This was perfect. I would highly recommend to any and everybody.. this easily took so much stress off my plate.

Brooklyn with the marketing team is fast at responding and will give you tux recommendations based off your wedding theme, overall style and budget! As a wedding planner, I really appreciate when vendors are incredibly helpful for my couples. Friar's was perfect. It was so convenient to have everyone be able to be professionally sized on their own time and in their own town and simply pickup the suit when ready. The men looked amazing and there was a great selection as well. I didn't realize you can rent literally everything including the shoes and belt too! Great service overall.

My Wedding and Groomsmen Suits
Friar Tux was a great place to rent my and my groomsmen's wedding outfits. The Friar Tux location I went to in Northridge was very accommodating and really took a ton of time to work with me to pick the best colors and combinations for the wedding. Super helpful staff and super flexible. I ended up choosing the Michael Kors Heather Gray suit and my groomsmen wore the Steel Blue Michael Kors suits. Great combination for a forest-y wedding! The pick-up and drop off were easy. One thing I would say is that if you are to rent a suit, try to both get measured in person and try on the suit before the big day. My suit ended up being a little bigger than I'd like on the actual day despite in-person measurements and a fitting. Some of my groomsmen who were out of state had to call back in for exchanges in some sizes a couple of days before the wedding. So definitely try on your suit right before the big day and be prepared to request changes last minute if needed. The great thing about Friar Tux is that if you're relatively local to their main location in Los Angeles, last minute changes and pick-ups are definitely doable. Overall, loved the suit colors. My boys loved their colors too! Would recommend for great service and quality.

From the start, Stitch & Tie (Friar Tux) exceeded our expectations. They sent us swatches for the available suit rentals so that we could confirm the color options for our wedding party. They were very easy to contact via telephone, with no long waits or lack of response. The suit rentals we chose (Dark Green Venice) were beautiful and the quality was amazing. Much better than other mail-order rental companies I have used in the past. If I ever get married again (heh) I would definitely use Stitch & Tie. 10/10 would recommend.

Looking and Feeling GREAT in our Suits!
Our suits were spectacular thanks to Friar Tux! We loved the convenience of getting fitted by our house at the South Coast Plaza location and picking up/dropping off the suits by our venue in Temecula. The staff at both locations were so nice and so helpful. We rented three suits from them. My husband did a full suit change for the reception. All three looks were phenomenal. The green suit got the most compliments right after the gold velvet jacket. I can’t wait for the next excuse to need a suit or tux so I can go back to Friar Tux and pick out my next look!

Great quality suits and tuxes! Loved that we could go into a physical store to try on suits. Groomsmen in other areas were able to have theirs shipped directly to them or go into a physical store to get measured and pick up.
Other online suit and tux stores were having trouble during Covid. Friar tux made the whole process affordable and easy! The store workers were very friendly and helpful. We were able to purchase suits for all groomsmen for prices that were similar to renting from other stores.

Overall I was very pleased with this company. I definitely was hesitant using them since it was a rental place across the country and wouldn’t be getting items until slightly before, that makes for a crazy bride. But I needed the hunter tux that looks modern and Friar had them! We rented 9/10 from them everything came on time
No issues For returns. Only one thing I wish but doesn’t really change my thoughts is that we ordered soo many but didn’t get any type of coupons code or anything.

Friar Tux saved my wedding. I originally went with the Black Tux. I purchased my suit with them 4 months prior to my wedding and was told it would ship in 3 weeks. 2 months went by and no update had been given. I spent 6 hours on hold waiting for a CS rep for them to tell me they did not have it in my size. With less than 2 months to go I did not trust the Black Tux to have our suits ready for our wedding. I found Friar Tux and they were fantastic. They had a great selection of suits and were able to help fit my out-of-town groomsmen with no issues. Their team was very responsive and able to answer any questions we had. I highly recommend Friar Tux for your wedding needs.

I originally was booked with David's Bridals (BlackTux) and literally 2 weeks before my wedding they tell me they don't have my tux or the suits for a few of my bridesmen even though they were purchased months ago. I was able to call friars and tell them what I needed and they gave exceptional service and made sure that me and my bridesmen had suits. The quality was better than blacktux in my opinion and they were really nice will letting me keep my suit extra days since the wedding was out of state. Honestly, all around extremely happy and will always recommend and use them.

Last November My Wife and I got married by Elvis in Las Vegas. Fun time. I wanted a tux for the occasion and contacted Friar Tux in Las Vegas for the rental. The staff was extremely friendly, took my order and sent out a measurement sheet to get the size right. When we arrived in Vegas we went to get our tux’s, my Grand Son was my Best Man, and met Mondo! Great customer service
My husband had 6 groomsmen and more than half were in different cities. I was happy that this tux shop had many locations and each groomsmen was able to get their tux where they lived. The prices where great and the selection was amazing. Great customer service

Amazing tuxedo and service!
Weddings can be pretty stressful trying to manage all the tasks that need to get done. I didn't want to catch myself driving around town sitting in traffic and trying to find the right style tuxedo across town, then getting fitted by multiple places, while trying to fit my wedding budget. Luckily, I found Stitch & Tie by Friar Tux!
Conveniently, they have a wide range of selection in styles and ordering process was seamless. I'm located in Minneapolis, MN where there is limited local tuxedo rental companies, so ordering online was a no brainer, not only by convenience but they had exactly what I was looking for. My tuxedo got here FAST and it was thoughtfully packed. Communication was very efficient and they gave updates regarding order process/shipping and followed up with me if I ever needed questions. A week before my wedding, I received the tux to try on to make sure everything fit, this package also included a helpful a styling tip sheet, and thorough directions on how to easily pack and return the order post-wedding day. I couldn't ask for any other better service than what they provided, I highly recommend Stitch & Tie by Friar Tux!

Go to friar tux if you wanna be the best dressed at the party!
My husband and I were of the lucky few to still have our wedding this year (during the COVID pandemic).
We started our suit search process via email with Eric Acuna and set up a video call. We had always used Friar Tux in the past for other weddings and also formals/proms during high school.
However, planning a wedding during a lockdown is something we never expected! Eric put together SO MANY looks to show us via video call. (It was honestly, the best thing ever.) We could stay home, have a drink and pick the best suit(s) for our wedding. It was intimate for my husband and I and was something he ACTUALLY was invested in during the whole wedding planning process.
We selected a blue for Kevin (groom) and a tan for the groomsmen as we were having a beach wedding. Eric was so helpful in pulling ties, bowties, shirts and different shoe options. He was very thorough and provided us pros and cons of each selection!
I cannot thank Eric and the team enough! They exceeded our expectations and were so communicative during the planning process. 10 out of 10 would recommend Friar Tux!

Love these suits!

Best Dressed Wedding Party
Friar Tux is the best in the biz! Their customer service is spectacular and overall experience was amazing. They managed a wedding party of 14 with extreme care and made sure everything was ready to go for the big day. Oh ya.. and we all looked pretty darn dapper too! The best service and quality of clothing for many years.
From high school proms to weddings we have used Friar Tux and never been disappointed. The stylists are so helpful and professional. There has never been an issue with fit or inventory. I cannot tell you how easy the process is with Friar. We will always use them for our suiting and event needs.

Still need to look fly for a "micro" wedding!
Like many of you reading this, you're probably not planning the wedding you were hoping for... However, after pivoting our large celebration to an intimate backyard wedding instead ... I actually have absolutely no regrets!!! Despite the small celebration, I still had to look sharp. Marc at Friar Tux helped me narrow down to the Navy Shawl Lapel Tuxedo which fit modern/slim and looked amazing. I wore fresh white sneaks with it because why not?! Thankfully, I already had my measurements so it was a very seamless process to provide those for the order which was shipped to my house safely in advance of the big day. The pre-shipped envelope included with the package made the return super easy. Great value, easy process, amazing celebration.

Great Family Owned Shop
Friar Tux made finding the perfect suit easy. The professionalism and knowledge of the staff and ease of shopping made the experience fun for my husband and his groomsmen. One of our groomsmen was unable to make it, so my husband’s father stepped in as a groomsmen and Friar Tux was able to help us get him a matching suit with only 2 weeks before the wedding. I would give them 10 stars if I could!

Suits Looked Great!
Friar Tux supplied suits for the wedding of a friend of mine and all the gents looked strapping. The business has been a main-stay in Southern California for years, and I can definitely recommend them to future buyers. Nice work!
