Found my dream dress

Connie was amazing in helping me envision what I wanted for my elopement. She was very upfront in letting me know that I can tell her that I do not like something, unlike many places that push dresses that aren't "you". Svtlana was also amazing during my visit and helping me dream up ideas for alterations or changes. I cannot wait to get my dress tailored by her as well. Value was excellent - I purchased a $4000 dress plus my veil for a little over $1000. Not everything can be ordered, so keep that in mind when shopping, but they will do anything they can to get you the dress you want.

Effortless

Frews staff was amazing. I was able to try on as many dresses as I wanted. They did not rush me or make me feel like a waste of their time. They listened to what I was looking for and helped me find the perfect dress! I also did alterations with them and was very pleased. Highly recommend.

They were great

Frews was extremely easy to work with! I tried on 6 or so dresses and they were out of my price range, too heavy, too big, not what I pictured... I was feeling a little defeated and went to check out the bridesmaids section. While there I found a dress I LOVED but... it was navy. The girl who helped us said it was available in ivory, recommended ordering a size up and didnt act like she was bothered one bit that I wasnt spending a TON of money. She was understanding and seemed genuinely happy to help. Thank you for everything frews!

Fantastic shopping experience!

Honestly, I'm a low-fuss bride and was expecting to not be overly wowed or upset with any vendor. However, Frew's was incredible. I went shopping for my dress 7 months prior to my wedding and had been told by several places that was too short of notice. Frew's didn't bat an eye. My dress came in plenty of time. And Debbie in alterations is AMAZING. I didn't know what needed altered because it fit fineish, but she made some alterations that made the dress fit like a glove. She also was so helpful with suggestions to protect my skin from the beading and with other advice. She is also the kindest soul. I made the best decision to come here!

I had a great experience with Frew's! Their staff provided expert knowledge and were able to help me find my dream dress! Bonus that they are in the downtown Alton area and my bridesmaids and I were able to have lunch after!

I went to several bridal shops before finding Frews-- unlike another Saint Louis area bridal salon, Frews was able and willing to order my dress in plenty of time for my wedding. The seamstress worked quickly and was very skilled working with the intricate lace detail of my dress for the alterations needed. I also felt my dress was very reasonably priced for the quality and designer. We also found our flower girls dress there, which had a beautiful belt and matching dress for her American Doll!! So lovely. They have an amazing selection and I would recommend them to any bride to be!!

I can't say enough positive things about Frew's Bridal. From choosing my dress, to fittings, to alterations, they are the best. The shop is GORGEOUS and the ladies there are beyond helpful. My seamstress, Svetlana, was incredible and I enjoyed every single minute of being in that store. They made everything so easy and stress free, I think my dress was the only thing I WASN'T stressed about, and I have Frew's to thank for that :)

Frew's Team was outstanding! From the first appointment trying on dresses with Taylor, to the end alterations with Tina, everything was outstanding! The selection is huge! I live over an hour away and would drive to Frew's for the selection and service. Thank you Frew's!

Everyone at Frews was incredibly helpful! I did not go there anticipating finding "the dress", but I did. There are soo many options to choose from and when I had a more "non-traditional" approach to my wedding gown, they didn't bat an eye!!

Frew's was my last spot we had planned out for picking my wedding dress and that is where I found my dress! It was perfect and everyone I worked with to get my dress altered and fitted was amazing. Frew's kept my dress from May 2016 until February of 2017 because I lived out of state and couldn't come for fittings as often. Every time I came in i had the same seamstress to work with and she knew exactly what she was doing. My bridesmaids also ended up getting their dresses from there as well as they had dresses that could be bought in both short or long length without having to alter them. Frew's did an amazing job and I would use them again if I ever needed to.

Everyone that works here are what I would call top notch! All of the sales agents I worked with took their and did not pressure me into buying a dress on my first time. They even made calls to let me know when they were having huge discount sales.

Kylie was amazing!! My dress was the third one I tried on - but I wanted to make sure - after about ten more dresses, a lot of patience :) and accessory tips I SAID YES TO THE DRESS. So happy that Frews bridal helped create my perfect dream wedding - and thanks to Kylie I was able to feel comfortable and felt like the professionals had me covered! TOP NOTCH CUSTOMER SERVICE. I had a great experience at Frew's Bridal! The shop is spacious and very cute. There are too many tiny shops out there so it was really nice to have some space. They have lots of fitting rooms and lots of places for family and friends to sit. I love the decor and the atmosphere is warm and very lovely. I worked with Connie and she was wonderful. They are very upfront with how things work which was very helpful to me as I was getting overwhelmed with the dress hunt. She informed me that the appointments last 1.5 hours, so I knew ahead of time how long we'd be there. That amount of time worked great for me, other shopping experiences I had that went longer made me tired and a little cranky :) They also have a rule that you can only take in 5 dresses at a time. Which again, really helped me. It helps you to not pick up and try on EVERY dress you think is pretty. You end up being more selective about what you take in and again, that helps with not getting overwhelmed. Frew's also offers great incentives/discounts for bridesmaid dresses and tuxes when you purchase the bridal gown there. Loved it!

I found out about Frew's Bridal at the St. Louis Bride & Groom Wedding Show earlier this month. Everyone was very friendly when I arrived at my appointment.

Mary worked with me that evening. She helped me pick about 10-12 dresses to try on and gave her recommendations after she learned what I liked. She was very attentive and made the experience really great for me and my bridesmaids. Frew's was the third place I shopped at, and I ended up finding the perfect dress. I wish I would have just gone to them in the first place! Seriously, I am so excited to wear this dress!

The girls and I also looked for bridesmaids dresses for them. Mary told us about discounts for bridesmaids since I bought my dress there, she also offered information on tuxedos for the guys. In addition, I got a credit to use towards an accessory which I could use on one in store or order from their website.

After the girls were done trying on bridesmaids dresses, Mary walked me through next steps like when my dress would be in, when fittings and alterations would start, using my credit to order an accessory, etc.

By the way, the store is HUGE. They have a ton of bridal gowns sorted by designer and size. One thing I really liked is that they don't display their sample dresses in bags, so you can actually feel and see the dresses before trying them on. They have a very large selection of both bridal gowns and bridesmaids dresses. Lastly, but also very important, I found it pretty easy to stay within my budget.

Everyone was so friendly the entire shopping experience. Jennie helped me find the perfect wedding dress and was honest when something did not look the best on me ( I asked her to answer honestly). Everyone was excited and upbeat and you can tell they really love their job. Great experience here!

I purchase my dress at Frew's Bridal today and I am absolutely in love with it. Jennie helped me and she was wonderful. The shop is gorgeous and there are plenty of dresses to choose from at very affordable prices. I definitely recommend this place. Thank you Frew's Bridal!

I shopped at Frew's Bridal for the first time over the weekend and was blown away by the selection of dresses that they have at their store. They carry dresses from tons of different designers that fall in a variety of price ranges, making it possible for any bride to find her dream dress there. I had only shopped at one other store prior to shopping at Frew's and I ended up finding the perfect wedding dress. The staff was more than helpful with helping make the final decision on "the dress" for me. I am so happy that I took the time to go there. I would recommend this story to any bride!

I LOVED this store. They have a ton of dresses, styles, sizes, from small to plus size to try on. The dressing areas are fantastic. You have your own personal attendant helping you. They are a pro at knowing how to get you in and out of the corset gowns. They pull sashes when you want them, headpieces, with no hesitation.

Their gowns are affordable, they work within your budget. They ask for your preferences and let you pull and touch your own gowns, give suggestions, they are so fantastic.

I can not give enough praise. If you are starting your search for the perfect wedding dress, go here with your entourage, you will have the experience you are looking for!

I have looked at other bridal shops and was not happy with my experience. I felt very pushed into buying a dress. I did not feel this way at all with Mary. I felt like she really wanted to help me find the perfect dress, not just make a sale.

We had previously had a not so good experience with Frew's Bridal but I decided to go back and give them a second chance. This time I was looking for my wedding dress. I worked with Jennie and she was so sweet and very helpful. She listened to everything I was looking for and had ideas herself. She was very attentive to everything I needed. I am glad I gave them another chance, I just hope everything goes this smoothly from here on out.

I had been waiting to try on a dress that I had saw at a bridal show a year ago at Frew's Bridal. I was so afraid that I had built this dress up so much in my head and would end up hating it. But that was not the case at all. I told my consultant that I wanted to try it on in the middle of the other dresses so I would really know how I felt about it. As soon as I put it on I was in love. My consultant even read my mind and knew that it needed a belt to make it that much better. She did an AMAZINGLY job!! I couldn't be any happier!! I can't wait to wear my dress next year!!

I bought my wedding dress from Frew's Bridal and am so pleased with the entire dress buying experience! My dress is absolutely gorgeous and exactly what I imagined. The boutique has an incredibly large selection. On the day I went dress shopping, I had a very specific look in mind. I had previously researched my dream dress on Frew's website and found my perfect dress. Because of the massive selection the boutique has, some of their dresses are only available online. My dress was one of those. My consultant provided several dresses with similar elements to my dress so I could be certain my dress was The One. Once I and my mom were satisfied, we ordered my dress from the website. A couple of months later, it arrived at the boutique and was everything I hoped it would be. I had some alterations so there were several trips to the shop. Because of this, the staff got to know me. They were incredibly friendly and personable. The alterations staff were fantastic and tackled all my requests with professionalism and a plan. On the big day, my dress was absolutely perfect!

The staff at Frew's were very helpful and patient. I didn't know what kind of dress I wanted so they brought me a wide selection of styles to try. They also had a great sale happening that resulted in me getting $250 in free merchandise. Thanks for having the perfect dress!

Connie was awesome. She provided honest opinions and was very helpful. She was very patient and never complained even though we look through many dresses for my mother of the bride and my MOH. We took more time than we were supposed to and she never complained at all and was very helpful! I truly enjoyed my time there and I cant wait to pick up my dress and dresses for my mothers and for my MOH.

Our two daughters just got married in one weekend and we bought their gowns, my gown and one set of bridesmaid dresses from Frew's. They are very nice people and they have a huge selection of dresses in their showroom and online. Their website is called Best Bridal Prices, so don't be confused; it's all Frew's. It's a beautiful, big store and you'll have a great experience trying on gowns there. Their alterations people are excellent and very nice, too. It was worth the drive from St. Louis to Alton because their selection is fantastic!

I absolutely loved my experience at Frew's! It was everything I had every hoped for when finding my wedding dress. They made me feel so special and walked me through the process, making it so easy and relaxing. I found my dress there, and fell in love with it immediately!! VERY REASONABLY PRICED AS WELL!! This was a wonderful experience! I needed a dress last minute for my wedding and had already been to four other bridal shops. The first dress I tried on was the one and the sash was amazing! It didn't need any alterations but it needed a bustle and they did it while I waited! Talk about service! I would definitely recommend Frew's to anyone needing Bridal or special occasion attire!

I was so impressed with Frew's bridal. We went to several places to shop but one of the reasons we ended up coming back and buying from them was their service. Right from the start they treated us like royalty and we felt like their only customers. Our consultant was Carol and she was amazing!! I ended up going with the very first dress I put on and it's nothing that I would have picked for myself but Carol really knows what she's doing and said she had something I had to try. She did of course put me in a bunch of my and my family's picks but nothing compared to that first dress.

As a plus size and older than average bride, I was quite anxious about finding my dress. I came prepared with a large group of my nearest and dearest and the pictures from Frew's online store. Carol was my consultant. She was very accommodating to my large group, and never blinked an eye at my size or my age. I found the store had plenty of dresses in my size (20+) . I tried on every dress I had chosen online but none were The One. Carol quickly chose a few more for me to try. In that selection I found my dream dress. Carol was patient, professional and caring. With the purchase of my dress I also received credit for a bridal accessory or shoes. I chose to go with the veil - $160 value. I would recommend Frew's Bridal to anyone and everyone!

My experience while shopping at Frews was enjoyable. I did find The Dress. In working with the manager, Angie, we were able to make the arrangements I needed in order to be able to purchase the dress! The manager was patient and took time to answer all of my questions. It was a great experience!

Frew's was such an amazing place to shop for my wedding dress! There are multiple people I know who shopped at many other stores and eventually found the one at Frew's. It is a beautiful store and the consultants are very nice. I went way over my appointment time and no one complained once. I was even able to come back after lunch to try the dress on again because I wanted an applique removed from the dress I bough--which was done at no cost. I've gotten both my wedding dress and a bridesmaid dress at Frew's. Both times, I was allowed to pay the online price in store which has saved me hundreds of dollars! Everyone should give Frew's a try!

The sales staff at Frew's is friendly and have incredible patience!!! Frew's carries an amazing selection of gowns that will appeal to every bride's taste and can special order any dress from almost every designer that they do not have in stock. The wedding gowns and Mother of the Bride/Groom dresses are high quality. Their summer sale offers fantastic bargains! My daughter lives out of town and was only able to come in for one fitting before the wedding. Her dress needed additional alterations when she arrived in St. Louis a few days before the wedding. The seamstresses were able to make the final alterations quickly and her dress was perfect! My daughter already urged another friend to buy her dress here.

I had visited several bridal shops prior to my appointment at Frew's Bridal. I have to say I was absolutely blown away by this shop! First of all they had, by far, the BEST selection of wedding gowns out of anywhere I had ventured prior in my search for "The Dress". Second the staff was so kind and helpful. I worked with Jennie who was beyond amazing. She really helped me focus on what I wanted and paid so much attention, not just to me and my feedback, but also to the rest of my party and what they had to say. She asked very thought provoking questions that really helped me start to visualize and narrow down what exactly I was looking for. Jennie ended up grabbing the dress that became MY DRESS for me, and snuck it in with all the others for me to try. On top of ALL that, they are extremely affordable, and I even wound up getting a veil for free with the purchase of my gown. I would recommend this bridal shop to ANYONE. Look no further, this place is great all around!!!!

Frew's was the second place I tried looking for my wedding dress. The first place I tried only let me try on about 9-10 dresses, so I thought that was how it worked everywhere. I was so relieved when Frew's let us look through all of their dresses and choose whichever I wanted to try on. My consultant (Mary) was amazing and helped me pick dresses based on the preferences I told her, but she also brought some that I hadn't thought of before. There was a HUGE selection, so I don't know how anyone wouldn't find a dress here. I highly recommend Frew's to anyone looking for a bridal gown.

Frew's was the fourth wedding dress shop I made an appointment with. When I first walked in I was amazed at the selection they had. They just had a ton of dresses, and plenty in all sizes. Lots of dresses on sale too! I have a larger bottom and hips, like four sizes different than my top, so finding a fitted dress that might work at least one of the previous stores had been a challenge with their selection. Lauren helped me out at my visit, and she was amazing. She was super friendly, very attentive and knowledgeable. I ended up finding my dress here a bit randomly and it was the second dress I tried on. It was not even a dress that I had picked out for myself or one I would have chosen off the rack. Lauren picked it out for me based on the fit I had liked from the first dress and bam! It was awesome. The accessories she chose to try on with the dress, I ended up buying right then and there because they just worked so perfectly. The dress was surprisingly on sale too! Everyone, including Lauren, was just so excited how everything worked out. It was such a great experience!

The wedding dress appointment was great, however, the bridesmaid appointment was very hindered. Since there was only 1 size of each gown I was unable to see how each girl would look in the dresses. I didn't get the bridesmaid dresses at Frew's for this reason.

I went to Frew's Bridal to look for a wedding dress. I didn't look anywhere else before them for myself, I have gone to other bridal shops for other weddings. When I got there everyone was so friendly and so fast at asking if I needed help. I had an appointment and yes I went on a Saturday as most reviews tell you to never wedding dress shop on Saturday because places are busy, but this place was so organized, so professional, and very on top of their job. Anyways, they instantly had someone helping me. She gathered the information on what kind of dresses I was looking for and she went and pulled amazing dresses. I couldn't believe it, she knew me better than myself! I tried on 5 dresses and I found the perfect wedding dress within that 5. I couldn't believe it! I was extremely happy with the service I received and will definitely be going back for my bridesmaids dresses!

Carol was SO helpful! She was very professional and was talking to me the entire time I was trying on dresses. If I didn't like one, she didn't even take me out of the dressing room to show my group. She really knew what she was talking about and made the experience a breeze. I will be recommending Frew's to all my friend with upcoming events!

I absolutely LOVED my experience with Frew's Bridal!! I live in central Illinois and had no idea where to start with dress shopping. I was actually referred to Frew's by another member of www.theknot.com and I couldn't be happier that I followed their advice. Large, beautiful store with TONS of dresses in every price range. If you want that exciting dress shopping trip (no matter what your budget), definitely check out Frew's Bridal.

I have had business with Frew's three times now, first for a bridesmaid dress and I had another friend find her dress there before I did as well. I had a wonderful consultant who was very conscientious of my budget and made sure to pull dresses within my price range. I was having a very hard time deciding between two dresses and she helped me make the choice and I am so happy with my dress and can't wait for my fiance to see me in it.
