DJ Rick knows how to cook in his kitchen and make beats like no other! He was the best vendor of our wedding! We are so incredibly grateful for him for making our wedding day so memorable and fun. ALL of our guests were raving about him, asking me for his playlists throughout the day and after our wedding! He gave it his all throughout the day, from the ceremony to cocktail hour to of course, the reception until the very end! We greatly appreciated him and all that he does to make our wedding day so easy and involving everyone. It really helped ease my stress and gave me one less thing to worry about. We had full confidence and trusted Rick throughout the process. I would advise couples to just trust him and let him do what he is best known for! We strictly wanted to do just traditional dances and stuff, no gimmicky games. We wanted EVERYONE, from young to older, to participate on the dancefloor, and he delivered, getting everyone involved!
It was also so easy working with him throughout the process, which consisted of emails, phone calls, and texts. He was professional and patient with us, even for any last min changes. There were so many moments on our wedding day that he helped us achieve, including our grand exit where he announced everyone to line up with their glow sticks and make a tunnel for us to exit through. He made it so easy for us and was a GENIUS playing Daft Punk's One More Time and getting everyone to celebrate with us one last time! Thank you Rick! AMAZING!
Lastly, I wanted to thank him for cooking up the best, nostalgic mashup: my father-daughter dance song consisting of 2 Lion King songs I grew up watching with my Dad. I requested him to make a mashup of these important songs in under 2 min and man, he delivered and I cried at least 2x listening to the mashup for the first time. Finally, on our wedding day, when my Dad and I danced to this mashup, everyone, including DJ Rick and the bartenders, teared up. It was an incredible moment and a memory I will forever cherish with my Dad. I will always be grateful for DJ Rick for helping us with something so small, yet so powerful. He cares and takes the time to help you. That's important. And of course, my Dad had a blast vibing with DJ Rick. Everyone did!
Please do yourselves a favor and book the man, the chef! Book the biggest package you can because it will be worth the money. We know we're all on a budget, but the DJ is such an important aspect you want to invest in. DJ Rick knows how to cook!FreshTracks Entertainment's reply:

Jenny talks about the "One More Time" (Remix) moment, this was not planned. Live, instincts and song selection, this is the stuff. The song just came to me and it SMASHED. I can still see dance floor jumping in my minds eye. The right song at the right moment. That is DJing. Sometimes it's planned ( ie First Dance, Grand Entrance) A lot of times it's instincts, flow and being present. LIVE.
The Custom Mashup I remember standing there with so much gratitude, a tear in my eye and my heart full, max capacity. Love for Jenny and her father. The magnitude and importance of that moment is real. The Father daughter dance, a lifetime of love, being celebrated right there, and I got to use my skill set to help create that! Lucky man am I. The track edit i made is pretty fly.
I am grateful to have been a part of Jenny and Josh's love story and their wedding day.

Rick was an absolute standout as our wedding DJ, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From the very beginning, he was incredibly communicative and easy to work with, always responsive and clear in making sure every detail was handled. He brought a level of professionalism and respect that really put us at ease throughout the entire process.
What really set Rick apart was his flexibility. We had a drag show during our reception, and he went above and beyond to support it seamlessly. He coordinated everything perfectly, adapted on the fly when needed, and made sure the performances went off without a hitch. It truly elevated the energy of the night and made that part of our wedding unforgettable.
Overall, Rick delivered exactly what we hoped for and more... great music, smooth execution, and genuine support for our vision. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ who’s not only talented, but also reliable and easy to work with. -

From the first introductory call, Richard was a pleasure to work with ahead of the wedding and really got to know our styles. He seamlessly blended a couple niche inside-joke songs with crowd favorites, keeping the energy high the entire night. 6 months later and all our friends and family still talk about how it was the best dance floor they've ever experienced! -

We hired Freshtracks for our 2025 wedding in Mammoth and could not have had a better experience with him. From the planning sessions to the execution day of, we were in phenomenal hands!!! When I say he was the LIFE OF THE PARTY at our wedding, I truly mean it!! He knew exactly what each moment of the night needed. From the intros, the speeches, to the opening song on the dance floor, he brought the ENERGY and perfect touches. He had everyone hyped all night. Could not recommend Rick more!!! FreshTracks DJ Richard was awesome! This had to be the most important decision we had to make for our big day. Richard was super professional and took the time to get to know us. He even had us fill out this awesome questionnaire to help him really understand what we were looking for in our big day. The music was extremely important to us as it can make or break your wedding. He even took the time to study what that music our culture listens to and how to blend it in with modern day tracks. Our guests had an amazing time and I have to say it was thanks to him. He was able to keep the young crowd engaged while the elderly crowd pleased. We never stopped dancing and the night just flowed perfectly. They say you get what you pay for, I think he exceeded our expectations tremendously. Thank you FreshTracks! Can’t wait to find another party to throw and dance night away with you. -

Wildest dance party of our lives
Rick was a breeze to work with, making everything during the planning process so easy. The dance floor literally took on a life of its own and could not be stopped. The dance floor was so lit our photographer said he took 13,000 photos - the most he has ever taken in a single night. Our guests almost felt the need to run to the bar to get refills because they didn't want to miss a second of the dancefloor. I even got to go up behind the DJ booth - could not recommend Rick enough. -

Richard made our wedding day the absolute best! We could not have done it without him. He started planning with us over a year in advance and kept everything running smooth and stress free. He was so involved in curating the perfect vibe and worked closely with all of our other vendors to help in every way he could. Everything from the ceremony to cocktail hour to speeches and reception went perfectly with his help. His live mixing and ability to read the vibes of our guests kept everyone on the dance floor all night. I can't recommend him enough! He is by far the best DJ you can hire in the Eastern Sierras and I would hire him for any event I do in the future. -

I will be honest, at first there was a sticker shock as it goes for shopping for Wedding vendors. Gotta say though... Rick was one vendor who was WORTH IT to spend the extra dollars!! The wedding energy can die so quickly at other weddings if the DJ is not bringing the fun and energy! Rick went above and beyond keeping the music vibes we had previously discussed as well as his cool lighting for the room and pictures! Rick was AMAZING with his song transitions, song selections, and maintaining the fun on the dance floor! HIGHLY recommend, and I truly had so many guests coming to me after the fact commenting on how great our wedding DJ was! -

From our very first call with Rick, we knew we were in great hands. His energy, professionalism, and clear passion for music immediately stood out. On our wedding day, Rick executed everything flawlessly from start to finish. The transitions, timing, and song choices were perfect. There were no surprises, just a seamless flow of great music that kept everyone on the dance floor. His energy is boundless; his transitions are perfect; he has disco balls; he may be immortal. All at once he is the life of the party and a total professional. Rick struck the perfect balance of fun contemporary hits woven seamlessly with classic jams that got our parents grooving. Our wedding guests have not stopped raving about how much fun they had on the dance floor. I haven't stopped raving about how easily the day flowed with Rick's direction, skill, and confidence. FreshTracks on a bluebird powder day does not even come close to how incredible of a day FreshTracks Entertainment will make your wedding. With hands down the best name for a mountain-town DJ, Rick backs up his name by laying down an impeccably handcrafted setlist for the wedding.
His passion shone through in every email and conversation we had with him. With our wide-ranging tastes in music and interesting song requests that we wanted to squeeze into the evening, we were not sure how our spectrum of favorite genres would blend. That worry faded away instantly as Rick seamlessly delivered what many guests described as the most epic setlist they’ve ever experienced at a wedding. Setting just the atmosphere we wanted at each phase of our wedding, while creating some of the most nuanced and fantastic transitions for the dancefloor, Rick kept the party going until the very end.
Working with Rick was effortless and a blast. He was constantly looking for ways to make our day great, and a highlight was debuting his newest feature, an epic disco ball! With everything needed to plan for a wedding, planning your playlist might seem easy and fun, but it can get surprisingly overwhelming. Not with Rick and his music mapping journey. Rick helped us break it down, perfectly capturing the vibe of our relationship, while honoring the individuality of both my wife’s and my eclectic tastes. If you are planning a wedding in the Eastern Sierra’s, DJ Rick is an absolute must. He is straight-up amazing. Some would even call him a LEGEND! Because he literally is. All of our wedding guests still rave about DJ Rick - the energy he created, the brilliant and smooth transitions, and the killer music. We literally danced the night away - well until the venue kicked us out - but we dance our booties off because the set was that good! Sure, Im biased towards my own wedding, but i’ve never been to one with a better DJ - and all of the wedding guests agreed. Rick captured our style and taste in music perfectly!
In addition to being a super talent Dj, Rick is just a great dude and awesome vendor. Wedding planing can be tough at times and some vendors can be such a hassle to deal with. This was NEVER the case with Rick. Rick was super accessible and quick to respond throughout the entire planning process. He knows the industry well - making recommendations, helping to work through some timeline logistics, and even doing some coordinating of his own. His positive attitude is contagious and professionalism greatly appreciated. I cannot recommend him enough. Thank you Dj Rick! You played a huge role in making our wedding day as special as it was. -

Rick was super fun from our first meeting through the entire wedding. He was incredibly organized, timely, and professional. He helped us put together our timeline for the reception as well, perfect. The ceremony and reception ran so smoothly and he did such a great job not only as DJ but also as MC. He brought the energy without stealing the show and kept the dancefloor packed. I didn't need to communicate with him at all the day of our wedding because he had everything locked down. I really can't think of a single thing he could've done better in any way. If you're not using Fresh Tracks for your event you are missing out! -

A musical journey
Rick played an INCREDIBLE set for our reception.
We had a unique guest list full of b-boys and b-girls (including one of the grooms). We were all SO impressed by Rick's spinning. We thought he rocked it better than some break DJs we've heard. We rarely see DJs actually enjoying their own music like Rick does.
We were also surprised to see him scratching and loved how much he put his whole body into it!
One b-girl pointed out how he brought us on a musical journey through different genres, decades (70s/80s/90s), AND regions (we weren't expecting to get hyphy).
So many of his song choices and transitions were just *chef's kiss*. He can read the room and adapt to everyone's energy levels.
Rick was also super easy to work with in the months leading up to the wedding. The best thing we did was give a general idea of the music we liked to mingle, dine, and dance to, and just let Rick do his thing. -

Rick was such a joy to work with and be a part of our wedding celebration. He was extremely helpful with the planning process and, in fact, was our only vendor who didn't leave tasks until the last minute. Let me start off this review with the fact that the DJ was our first wedding vendor that we booked. After minimal research, FreshTracksEntertainment kept showing up everywhere we looked. This was a clear sign that Rick must be good...and boy was he GOOD! I first reached out in September 2021 to inquire about our September 2022 wedding at Forest Chapel and McCoy Station in Mammoth Lakes. We met up for coffee at Black Velvet and were sold. We booked him in October and he checked in every now and then until the wedding. We also booked his Photo Booth because it's a GREAT deal...and we're a big photobooth couple ;) We had a phone call closer to the wedding and we worked through a Google doc with all of the information he would need (couple info, songs, our preferences, etc.) as a team. He had sample playlists and offered multiple times if we wanted or needed suggestions on songs (first dance, walking down the aisle, etc.). I just can't say enough how AWESOME he was. He set everything up, was on time, the speakers didn't go out, his transitions were FLAWLESS, I mean...he was just perfect. We received SO many compliments during the reception about how the DJ was the best wedding DJ they had ever heard. And still to this day- a year later, our friends and family still talk about the music/party aka DJ Rick. THANK YOU RICK!!! -

Best DJ ever!
We interviewed several DJs as we knew this person would be responsible for keeping the party going at our wedding. We knew immediately Rick at DJ Freshtracks was our DJ after talking with him and seeing how much how he loved his job, and the energy he brought to just talking about our music and event! Everyone at our wedding was so impressed by his skills, wondering how they just danced for 4 hours straight! He listened to our desires and then brought it to reality in ways we would have never thought of. Highly recommend Rick for your event! -

I cannot imagine a better wedding day experience with a DJ. Rick was incredibly in-depth and wanted to make sure our wedding was exactly what we wanted. During the ceremony and happy hour he did a fantastic job of keeping the vibe fun, while making sure everyone stayed on schedule. But the real show starts at the reception, right from the start he brought the energy through the roof. He kept everyone on schedule with great introductions for all speakers. Once it was time to dance Rick had the entire crowd on the dance floor, from grandmothers to aunts and uncles to 4 year old nephews, he had everyone having the time of their life.
We truly couldn't imagine a better experience than working with DJ Fresh Tracks. He made a day we will never forget absolutely perfect, since the wedding I have talked with many friends that have raved about the music at both the wedding and the reception. Rick was the absolute best DJ and overall vendor we worked with for our wedding at Convict Lake Resort! Our guests and us were on the dance floor the whole night and he does an incredible job of playing a good mix of music that is favorable to the couple, friends, family etc.. Rick has the best energy which really made the overall experience working with him; not just at the wedding itself, but also with every meeting leading up to the big day as well. He's very organized and communicative throughout the whole planning process. We appreciated the frequent touch points with him letting us know what we could expect, what we needed to provide him with and when as well as what we could expect for the day of. We also loved that he always made an effort to meet up with us for coffee when we were in town to chat / get to know us as a couple.
Couldn't recommend Rick more to DJ your wedding or big event! -

DJ Freshtracks (Rick) CRUSHED IT at our wedding! We had so many people come up to us during/after the wedding and say they had one of their best times at a wedding because the music was on fire the whole time.
Really appreciated that Rick worked with us through his music mapping document ahead of time to get the right vibes for ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dance floor. And he truly executed the vision! The dance floor was on fire, he was a fun MC throughout the night, and it was overall so seamless.

WoW! Tammy and I really worked well together and I felt this wedding day reflected that. Moments were elegant and romantic and fun and the audio was warm. The Dance floor was INSANE. Shelly and Tony Best part of our wedding! (other than getting married of course)
After our first meeting, we knew that no matter what happened on our wedding day, we would have a blast! Doing most of our own wedding planning, Rick was there for us every step of the way, even if wasn't DJ related. Rick was so thoughtful and made sure to include our very diverse group of friends and family, including taking Spanish lessons from his son to greet our guests. Once Rick gets into the zone, he transforms into a DJing machine and is able to use the vibe of the dance floor to keep it going at all times. The dance floor had most of our guests there the entire time, including my mom, and that is saying a lot! We could not picture our wedding without Rick there, as he was truly the greatest asset to our wedding.

He crushed it!
Start to finish, Rick made my husband and I feel like he was there to make our wedding the best event of our lives. While he works with so many couples, he takes time to get to know you, your overall wedding vibe/inspiration, and what elements of the day are important to you. He was thoughtful and punctual for all our pre-wedding meetings, and always accommodated our busy schedule. We were grateful for all the guidance (the music map!) and suggestions as we went through the planning process. As far as the actual ceremony, there’s no better person than Rick to DJ your wedding. He has an incredible selection of music and knows exactly what to play. He is so skilled at reading the energy of the crowd. Many of our guests complimented Rick’s warm, fun energy and we know that he probably was having as much fun as we all were. We cannot recommend him highly enough. The ceremony in the fall colors was peaking, couldn't have asked for more. Our planning and meetings always left me glowing. Brad and Jann even helped me to discover one of my favorite new artists this year! The love and warmth in their cabin venue was all time. It was styled beyond what I'd seen before, and stunning. The venue itself changed some of the song selections early in the evening based on feel and elegance. As the night went on there was one of those organic moments on the dance floor that I will never forget. One of those every so often perfect song selections I just happened to make as the Groom and his Groomsman crafted a surprise for the bride. It hit so hard, FUN!. I'll never forget the BlackPink tracks we played and sharing those moments, totally dig these tunes and we shared in this energy. Fantastic couple, Dreamy wedding, STYLE, YES! -

We hired FreshTracks for our July 31 wedding at Mammoth. It was raining so our top of the mountain got cancelled, but in our efforts to do it on the rooftop, Rick took his sound equipment up and down the stairs a few times. Dude is nothing but positivity and good vibes.
The planning process was easy, he took us through a whole music plan, got to know our style, our wedding party, etc. He did an awesome job with the shoe game, which Rick introduced us to and was a huge hit at the reception.
He had the dance floor hopping all night long, and not to be overlooked, his MC skills were on point.

From day one my fiancé (now husband) and I were blown away by Rick's comprehensive approach to making our wedding day the most epic day ever! He met with us before the wedding to discuss all of our preferences and has an awesome music map that we got to personalize for our day. Then the wedding actually happened and he literally blew our minds! Our guests were raving about how energetic and hilarious he was and he kept the dance floor going strong ALL NIGHT LONG! Our guests were so hyped up all night that we had not one, but 2 congo lines take place! Seriously though, Rick is a true master of his craft and we couldn't be more happy with our choice to work with him! You should absolutely hire Rick for your wedding or any event where you need the ultimate hype man! -

Richard is seriously hands down the best DJ/entertainer we could have had for our wedding!!! From the get go of wedding planning stages until the very last seconds of our wedding night, he had such unmatched energy like no other. We’re from Hawaii and had our destination wedding at Mammoth Lakes. We really wanted to incorporate our local music in our ceremony and reception while also including wedding appropriate songs. He really made wedding planning smooth and easy and listened to exactly what we wanted and envisioned, and recommended what he thought would work best and the whole wedding day came out better than we could have ever imagined! Rick is far more than a DJ. We didn't realize how much an experienced professional like Rick could add to the whole wedding experience. He helped us conceive of a plan/schedule for the entire event, and then took charge executing it.
In the planning phases, he was super communicative and available. He (gently) prodded us months ahead of time to make sure important decisions (like how the procession would go, etc) didn't get left until the last minute.
He was also very flexible. Due to powers beyond anyone's control, our venue had to shut down ten days before the wedding. Rick totally pivoted and helped us move the event to a new venue at the last minute. You wouldn't have known it on the wedding day-- everything went down exactly as planned and without a hiccup.
Lastly, his energy is contagious. The guy can read a room and get your party going. From running the reception with poise, to getting people out on the dance floor, to music selection that is on point (with as much input as you want to have)-- he really made the event a fantastic party that people are still talking about months later.

DJ Rick! Let me start off by saying, best decision at the wedding other than marrying my wife. He is such a hard worker and made my special day everything I wanted it to be. My wife and I were so concerned and stressed about the wedding, especially trying to plan it during the coronavirus. After every meeting we had with Rick, our minds were sent to ease. We were motivated and ready to start planning again. It’s really hard to know what to do at a wedding, since we have never done this before, but luckily we had Rick every step of the way. Best DJ Ever! First vendor you need to book!
Seriously best DJ ever! I had so many guests coming up to me telling me what an awesome DJ Rick is. From the dinner music choices to the nonstop dancing music, everyone loved Rick!
I first heard about Rick at the Mammoth Wedding Gala event. Rick wasn't able to attend because he had a wedding to do of course but we ran into him at that wedding venue and briefly got his card in passing. While at the gala a photographer that I spoke with gave me great advice and told me that they first vendor I needed to book was Rick, and man was he right!
Rick was there for us through the pandemic. We we're supposed to get married in July 2020 but ended up getting married in July 2021. He was our biggest cheerleader being the uncertain times of postponement. I leaned on Rick to get a feel our how Mono county was handling the restrictions. Rick had a positive attitude the whole time but gave me realistic info about how things were looking up there. After we decided to postpone for a year, I made sure that Rick was available on our new date, I'm dead serious that if he wasn't I would have changed the date. Rick has become a true homie of ours we are so grateful that he was a part of our day. I didn't want to leave the dance floor; all his song choices were great. He has so many great suggestions and playlists for everything; recessional, processional, cocktail hour, grand entrances, first dance, parent dances, dinner music, cake cutting, etc. and he makes it all customized per couple. He's very responsive, organized, friendly, professional, hard worker, the list goes on and on.

Rick was one of our best hires for our wedding team. He was easy and fun to work with and always made himself available to us for questions throughout the planning process. Rick was recommended by our venue, Convict Lake Resort. Five minutes into an introduction call with Rick, we knew he would be an amazing addition to the wedding. His energy and enthusiasm are contagious. We had a small wedding (only 75 people) and were worried that that dance floor would feel empty. DJ fresh tracks is the best DJ I’ve ever seen, our wedding at the mode dancing anyone any MR gas has ever seen and I still here to this day. We requested Bangerz and all classic and he delivered. DJ fresh tracks is a cool down to earth guy you would love to hang out with and grab a beer or coffee with. Our wedding at the dance floor jumping the whole time and we almost broke the dance floor we were jumping and stopping so hard. Everything old song was a hit and exactly what we wanted. He has the energy and spunk to keep you going all night and can read a room when he needs to town things down a notch going to slow song. He did a great job and I would recommend him for every wedding or even just stay another party we might have in the future. He dresses to impress looks good and is professional at the wedding as well. Leading up to the wedding he checked on us and made sure we had our say in our playlists and sent him what we liked and was very easy-going and gave us his feedback and helped us with the list of bridal party and everything that goes along with it. First, Rick was the #1 recommended DJ to book for your wedding. Each person we asked he was the go-to man. I was ecstatic when he had our date open! From our first conversation, he made this experience SO much easier with his music mapping and plan of the day. We can start off by saying that he kept everyone on their feet all night long, which he absolutely did, but what really needs to be highlighted is the attention, support, and direction he gives before, during, and after the event. The moment we met Rick, almost one year before our wedding, we knew instantly he was the guy for us. He was able to tap into our vision after just a few words of explanation. When you’re planning a wedding, you have to make a lot of decisions…. One of the BEST decisions we made was hiring Richard (Rick) Kunkel with FreshTracks Entertainment. From our first initial meeting, when he didn’t shy away from the fact that I wanted more Rap and R&B than a typical wedding, I knew he was the one. Best dj on the mountain!
Our wedding was about 2 months ago we continue to receive tons of compliments of how much fun our was wedding because DJ Rick was so engaging, entertaining, accommodating to request and knows how to read the crowd! He even got my 93 year old grandma out on the dance floor!
My husband and I love music BUT do not know artist names or song titles. Rick walked us through all our choices and definitely help us create the reception of our dreams! We highly recommend using FreshTracks Entertainment. 5 out of 5!

Rick was everything I could have asked for in a wedding vendor. He listen to me and delivered exactly what I asked for. He was on time professional and required very little from me. Now that I have had a wedding I can tell you that one of the most valuable things you can find is somebody who can work well with little direction and still produce a quality products. Rick did just that and more. I spent very little time with Rick and gave him minimal help with our wedding music because I'm terrible with music. He was able to come up with a great set that not only spoke to our personal preferences but pleased the crowd as a whole. Rick was on time for our wedding and had everything set up on time.
As a DJ he played all the songs we asked for, oncue, and he kept everyone on the dance floor. Besides our own satisfaction with him we've had plenty of gas come up and tell us how wonderful he was and how much they enjoyed him.
We also rented his photo booth. It was up and running in the location that I requested despite its difficulty for his team. The photo quality was wonderful and the assistant was friendly and attentive. We had a small hiccup at the end of the night because it was 28 degrees out and the computer started to freeze, but I can hardly hold that against Rick and his team. All of the photos from the night were delivered promptly by mail in a thumb drive. I will cherish our goofy photos forever.

Rick was hands down the best DJ I have ever seen at a wedding, and I am not just biased because it was my own. From the second we met ( or he spoke with anyone really) he made everyone feel so comfortable and at ease. A few guests have made comments about how they just thought we had a really fun friend, before they realized he was the DJ at the reception. I mean, people were up on tables dancing, that's how fun he kept the dance floor. During speeches he inserted the best sound effects, and our reception flowed so smoothly

If you’re getting married in the Mammoth area, you HAVE to go with FreshTracks Entertainment! Rick is so much fun & keeps the wedding energy at an all time high! From the very beginning of asking for pricing packages and planning, he’s always very responsive and professional. He helped guide us through recommendations of songs for areas of the ceremony and reception that we didn’t even know we had to think about. All of our guests complimented us on how awesome the DJ was and how well he adjusted to the crowd. The fact that he has a wonderful relationship with the other top vendors (photographers / videographers) in the area really makes a difference because of their collaboration and synergy. Another plus - he offers photo booth add-ons for any of his packages with a bunch of backdrops to choose from. You won’t be disappointed with choosing FreshTracks! -
Brita Sent on 08/14/2018Rick was the best DJ ever for our Mammoth wedding!! We had one in person meeting and a couple phone meetings to make sure everything would go smoothly on wedding day. We filled out a "wedding overview" and "music mapping" worksheet that helped the planning go flawlessly. Wedding day was sooooo fun with Rick playing the music we had suggested and really reading the crowd!! EVERYONE was up and dancing, from the bridal party to our grandparents. Rick was born to be a DJ!! You can't go wrong choosing him for your wedding!

He played the right tracks for the special moments and kept the dance floor full all night. As a former DJ, I appreciated him taking time for all the guest requests and actually playing them! Diana Sent on 04/14/2018My now hubby & I were married on top of MM April 5th , not only did Rick provide music he looked steller in his grey sporty suit & snowboard boots lol our guest were impressed with his passion for his music & desire to please our crowd ! That parlayed over to the reception at the Village !!!! I to didn't think we had a big dancing crowd , I was proved wrong haha . Rick has so much enthusiasm & energy to give a crowd and they responded until the end of the night !!!!! My husband isn't a big party person or drinker & when I saw him singing & dancing along side his friends it put a smile on my face all night long ! I don't think I've ever seen him have so much fun & partisapate the way he did that night !!!! Thank You Rick for giving us such wonderful memories ❤️ I personally don't remember all of it as brides get caught up in hugs & kisses & greeting friends & family ! But.... I do know I was not worried our friend & family were not having a fabulous time . Best night , Best music !!!!! Memories of the heart for a lifetime ! Thank You my dear new friend !!! Hope to do some riding with you next year hehe I hear you shread hehe

Diana looked amazing in the fur shawl and her and Johnny slashed down the mountain following their ceremony! I almost lost a few fingers that day playing the processional in my Grey suit and snowboard boots. If these pictures don't tell the whole story winds were touching 40mph and temps were at the 30 degree mark. I will always remember the crowd singing and swaying and embracing one another for a few separate tracks as the night came to a close. Amazing wedding! Yes Diana you and I should catch some FreshTracks on the slopes on day! -

We initially told him that we expect the reception to be more of a cocktail hour vibe because we felt our guests were not much of dancers - us included. He proved us wrong. With his energy and song choices, we and 95% of our guests were on the dance floor. We had an amazing night. Rick was friendly, accommodating, and organized. I highly recommend FreshTracks Entertainment and their services.

Emily Sent on 11/03/2017Rick was the perfect DJ/MC! Super fun to work with, high energy, positive, and most importantly, really excellent at what he does!
From the beginning, I knew that Rick was the right choice for us. He has such a great working knowledge of the different music genres and was extremely organized with his music mapping software. All of these factors came together to make the music planning process less of a chore and more of something that we actually had a great time doing. Rick was easily accessible by phone and knows the Convict Lake venue better than any other DJ. He's your man.
We had some unique music requests from Rick for our wedding and he handled them with ease. His timing with music is so on point and he made the crowd laugh with his occasional musical interjections during funny parts of the toasts. I ended up wanting my own recording of a classical piece to be included in the wedding ceremony, and Rick was able to accommodate easily. He also helped me work and figure out how to interface with the movie projector so that I could connect my own computer at the reception site for a slideshow. Basically, his technical knowledge of things "technology-related" will be a huge asset to you.
During the actual reception, I could not believe how many people remained on the dance floor. DJ Rick was consistently keeping the tracks "fresh" just like his namesake. Again, we have a pretty diverse genre list of things that we like ranging from country to latin/hip-hop beats. Rick was also fantastic at taking requests from the crowd and gauging the types of songs that would keep the most people on the dance floor. I haven't seen a wedding in a long time with that many people dancing and I attribute that to the upbeat and fresh tracks from our awesome DJ. Rick also had so much energy during the night and our guests who interacted with his during the night complimented his high energy style and overall fun vibe that he brought to the night. Raf and Em's wedding this fall, one of my favorite sets all year! We really connected on a some musical tastes and this crowd was down for a wild ride. We got the energy high! Raf is a true renaissance man, a pleasure to work with he and I coordinated some fun dramatic moments throughout the evening and got some laughs and tears along the way.
