The best venue and owners ever!
I cannot express enough how much we loved this venue, but also Phil and Linda!!!!! Not only was the venue so beautiful, but they made our wedding day so easy and so special. We had the most magical Christmas wedding. I could not have asked for a better place to get married! We had Friday-Sunday to have the rehearsal dinner, wedding, and cleanup and I cannot express how much stress this took off us. BUT they had everything set up and ready for us the week of our wedding. We truly didn’t have to do a thing. They have so much decor to choose from, it was absolutely perfect!!!! The areas to get ready beforehand were perfect and we loved that we could do everything at one place. I truly couldn’t recommend French Hen Farm enough!!!! -

Everything was perfect. Owners were so helpful and super accommodating. Not to mention the venue was absolutely beautifully decorated!!! As the father of the bride, one of my favorite things about the French Hen Farm is that they have so much to choose from when it comes to decor (literally a wharehouse full), which means that you really don't need to bring anything, they have everything you'll ever need for your event. Highly recommend!!!! -

Hallmark Christmas Wedding
Amazing Venue! My daughter and son in law had the most magical Christmas wedding. The owners, Phil and Linda, have every detail covered including decor, set up and tear down, beautiful bridal and groom suites to get ready, photo booth, phone to leave bride and groom a message.. They made everything so easy and stress free. And let's talk about the decor.... stunning!! They have so much decor to pick from no matter what season you have your wedding. They even provide tables, chairs, linens, and chargers....made things so easy. I cannot say enough about how helpful the owners were to make everything run smoothly and stress free! -

French Hen Farm deserves far more than five stars. From the moment we first stepped onto the property, we knew it was something special. Working with the owners, Linda and Phil, made our entire wedding experience truly unforgettable. They cared about every detail in a way that felt deeply personal, as if they were planning their own family’s celebration. Their warmth, attentiveness, and heartfelt dedication allowed us to sit back, breathe, and enjoy the entire process from start to finish from planning through the day-of! They even made decorating completely stress-free. French Hen Farm fully decorates with an enormous variety of decorations and stunning pieces to choose from, and thoughtful touches, which saved us so much time, money, and effort. Even going through and choosing all the decorations was so so easy with the guide they provided.
Planning with them was effortless. They were always available to answer every question, big or small, and offered thoughtful guidance throughout. Their advice and recommendations were invaluable; the caterer, cake, and coordinator they suggested ended up becoming part of the dream team that gave us the most amazing day of our lives. We genuinely could not have imagined a more stress-free experience.
The venue itself is a masterpiece. French Hen Farm radiates beauty in every direction, from the elegantly designed event spaces to the lovingly maintained landscaping that’s clearly cared for with pride. Every corner feels intentional, romantic, and filled with charm.
The day-of accommodations were just as impressive. The bridal suite was spacious, luxurious, and stocked with everything we didn’t even know we’d need: tons of personal mirrors, comfortable lounge seating, plenty of hangers, and even a basket of essentials like Tide pens, a sewing kit, and more. The groomsmen’s space offered the same comfort and convenience. And when a makeup crisis hit, Linda and Phil didn’t hesitate and swooped in to immediately offer to call an on-call makeup artist like absolute heroes.
Working with them and all the vendors was incredibly smooth. Linda and Phil made communication easy and seamless, helping ensure everything ran perfectly.
We truly cannot recommend French Hen Farm enough. The venue is breathtaking, the owners are extraordinary, and the entire experience was flawless. If you want a wedding day that feels magical, supported, and completely worry-free, this is the place. -

We had the most perfect wedding and it was due to Linda and Phil and Taylor our coordinator. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and such a great price especially with it including the decorations and all the outdoor games and firepit and photo booth which was a huge hit. Linda and Phil did such a amazing job through the whole process she did a amazing job of taking what my vision was and Turning it into a dream. I couldn't have asked for a better day and it was all due to Linda and Phil they did such a amazing job. If you have a chance to have your wedding here do it you will not regret it at all. -

We appreciate everything Phil and Linda, owner and operator of French Hen Farms, did from initial contact through the final moments of our perfect Christmas wedding. The service was always prompt, professional and sincere. We selected a list of décor items from an extensive curated collection, did a walk-through shortly before the event to see the decorated venue and discuss the wedding timeline, and showed up for our big day ready to go.
The spaces for the wedding parties to get ready were perfect, the event went flawless, and at the end of the night we had several guests comment how the venue looked like it belongs in a magazine or a Hallmark movie. Thank you, French Hen Farms, for making our big day an amazing experience! -

10/10 Would Book All Over Again
We booked FHF about 10 months in advance of our wedding - we absolutely loved this venue from the moment we arrived and even more so when we walked in. Phil and Linda are top notch venue owners and even act like wedding planners too. They are kind and knowledgeable professionals and do everything they can to accommodate and bring your wedding dreams to life. We loved working with them and had the most beautiful wedding. Even if you book for something other than a wedding, Linda will ensure your event looks PERFECT. Don't hesitate with this venue, you will not regret it. -

I can't recommend French Hen Farm enough for any event. Linda and Phil are so professional, kind, caring, and talented! I was an out of state bride, and we booked them sight unseen because of their evident passion and commitment, as well as the affordability. Their included "something borrowed" rentals for decorations and set-up was such an incredible perk! The indoor/outdoor venue is SO beautiful and they made sure everything went smoothly for the best day ever. Thank you Phil and Linda!! -

Gorgeous Venue Marysville Ohio
French Hen Farm is a beautiful venue. The property is beautifully kept from the big weeping willow and pond, which makes a stunning backdrop, to the lawn and flowers. They have so much to offer including an adorable greenhouse for photos, outdoor lights, bonfire pit, and much more. The barn is breathtaking with the vintage chandeliers and the incredible decorating skills of Linda. This venue will be sure to impress your guests. Not to mention Phil and Linda are phenomenal people. So professional, communicative, organized and everything you would want for your wedding day. They are also caring, passionate, and kind. You can tell that they care about every little detail and no matter how many times I changed my mind about something (lol) they made it happen without a huff or puff. I could go on forever and ever about how awesome French Hen Farm and Phil and Linda are but instead I’ll say you have to go check it out for yourself! -

The space is so gorgeous and unique. The over 50 vintage chandeliers inside the barn make the whole space glitter and glow. The grounds are stunning and made the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and pictures. We were able to have lawn games and a fire outside for both our rehearsal dinner and wedding day, and our guests loved it. They had so much fun!
Linda and Phil are just the best. They are some of the kindest people I’ve ever met, and you can tell they love what they do - they put their heart and soul into French Hen Farm. They provide a huge array of decorations and more to rent on your wedding day free of charge, and I’ve never heard of another venue doing that! The prop collection is amazing, and it saved us so much time, stress, and money. Linda’s attention to detail and eye for design is unmatched. She created the PERFECT space for us.
Our guests have not stopped raving about French Hen and said it’s a wedding they will never forget. Our day was perfect and magical, and I owe a huge part of that to Linda and Phil. Could not recommend this venue more!! -

French Hen Farm is the only place I wanted to get married when I got engaged! From our first tour to our special day, Linda and Phil were there every step of the way with their expertise. The property is gorgeous and the decor provided to choose from made my vision come true. Using their decor, saved me so much money and time. Linda and Phil even secretly saved the day when I had forgot to plan for utensils for dessert. I didn’t even know it happened until the day was over! You couldn’t ask for better people. We love this venue so much, we even came back a year later to celebrate our baby girl with a baby shower at French Hen! You won’t be disappointed choosing French Hen Farms and Linda and Phil! -

The minute we pulled in to French Hen Farm and saw it in person for the first time, we knew this was where we were meant to get married! Not only is the venue and property itself stunning, but Phil and Linda are the most kindhearted, helpful, wonderful people!!! I honestly cannot speak highly enough of them. They were so flexible with us as we live out of state and always accommodated our schedule for phone calls and visits when we were in town. They recommended vendors, gave us incredibly helpful advice and guidance, and honestly kept our spirits up when we were feeling overwhelmed with wedding planning! All our family, friends, and guests were blown away with French Hen Farm as well and we received endless compliments about how gorgeous our venue was. I truly cannot recommend this venue enough!!! -

Linda and Phil were an absolutely amazing couple to work with. They went above and beyond with there help throughout the whole wedding planning process and made the big day a breeze. We got married in October so the weather was a toss up but they ended up having a back up plan (indoor ceremony) option ready to go in case the weather turned bad. It did end up raining on our big day but it held off for our 30 minute ceremony but they were more than understanding and accommodating for what the bride and groom wanted and they had no complaints waiting up until the literal last minute for us to decide to keep our ceremony outside. There venue is absolutely stunning with all the chandeliers and willow tree making this a dream venue. Included in the package was also the Friday and Sunday before and after the wedding date making setup and tear down easier and more convenient along with having all of there decor available to use so we didn't have to bother buying and setting up our own decor. They were quick with there correspondence and helpful with there recommendations. I would highly encourage anyone and everyone to get married or host some form of party or shower at this amazing venue. You will not be disappointed. -

Absolute Best Venue in Ohio
If i could give French Hen Farm 100 stars I would. My daughter had her wedding this past weekend there. Phil and Linda were the absolute most wonderful people to work with. They were super responsive to any questions we had right up until and even after the wedding. The decor they provided was absolutely stunning. Linda even gave us a suggestion on how to elevate the look even more! They were there during the event to help in any way we needed. We had a threat of rain that morning, but Linda and Phil made us feel it was no issue, and they would make it beautiful even if we had to go indoors. When we were looking over pics afterwards, they even left us a sweet pic in our selfie gallery. Please do not look any farther if you still haven’t decided where to have your wedding! You will absolutely not be disappointed to have your event here. -

Excellent Venue
We loved French Hen Farm. The venue was beautiful. Phil and Linda were so accommodating and helpful during the whole process and helpful in making sure everything ran smoothly. Phil even officiated our wedding and did a beautiful job. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Very affordable priced compared to a lot of venues in the area and surrounding areas, and their wedding decor rental options were very helpful in keeping wedding costs down. Overall was a very great experience and the owners were very nice people as well! 100% recommend. -

The barn is stunning. We had originally wanted to get married outside but the weather unfortunately didn’t work out that way. However Phil and Linda made sure everything was perfect for us inside the barn. The price of the barn is incredible and being able to rent items instead of buying was so convenient. We had the most incredible day with our friends and family. We will always recommend this venue to anyone. -

The gorgeous barn and grounds and fair prices drew me in, but the owners Phil & Linda made me so certain that this was the perfect venue! When an unexpected storm showed up right as guests arrived, Phil and Linda made sure that everything worked out to still be a beautiful day! They quickly became like family and were there to provide advice, helping hands and lots of love on our wedding day. We are so grateful that we chose French Hen Farm for our wedding venue—it was truly the best decision we made in the entire wedding process! Absolutely incredible
Absolutely AMAZING!! Phil and Linda were great to work with before and even during the wedding. They made sure every detail was perfect. The barn is BEAUTIFUL!! All of the updates done to the barn did not go unnoticed by anyone. The chandeliers are the reason why I chose to get married there and at night when they were all on, it was a dream come true. My guests are still talking about how perfect everything was. You are having a small to medium size wedding, look no further and go with the French Hen!! -

Our Dream Wedding
Phil and Linda were absolutely amazing! The biggest reason we chose French Hen Farm was because of the two of them, they are the sweetest and truly want to make your day special. The venue itself is stunning and has that rustic yet elegant feel, which is exactly what we wanted. Phil and Linda were quick to help from decorating to answering any questions we had. They went above and beyond to make it a dream!! The whole process was smooth and enjoyable, even while planning our wedding during a pandemic. We definitely will book this venue in the future if we have another event to plan. -

Highly recommend!
French Hen Farm was the perfect place for our wedding. It was everything we wanted!…a beautiful pond and weeping willow where we had our ceremony and a country-chic style barn with lovely decor pieces throughout that added to its charm. AND the barn is fully air conditioned, although once the sun began to set we were able to open the barn doors and enjoy a wonderful breeze while we danced the night away.
The owners, Phil and Linda, are awesome and really went above and beyond to make our day special. From helping us set up the day before our wedding, constantly helping pick up the slack that our caterer left the day of our wedding, to helping us clean up afterward. The catering situation was a nightmare and we could NOT have pulled through without Phil and Linda. They really are rock stars!
When we walked into the barn the first time we were just awestruck at how perfect it was. The chandeliers hanging from the ceiling make it truly stunning.
They have the loveliest bridal suite in the closed loft of the barn for the ladies to get ready for the wedding.
They offer tons of gorgeous pieces - large and small - to rent at fantastic prices.
One of the things we loved most is that they only book one wedding per weekend. We had access early Friday morning to begin setting up and we held our rehearsal dinner there. We had until 11:00 Sunday morning to be totally cleaned up and out. So much less stressful than squeezing everything into the tight time frame other venues offered.
We simply couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue or more professional and committed owners. -

Linda and Phil were simply amazing to work with! You won’t regret picking French Hen Farm for your wedding venue.
My husband and I were scheduled to get married in May 2020, near the beginning of Covid. I started to hear horror stories of venues not being flexible with couples but that was far from our experience with French Hen Farm. They showed us that they cared and this wasn’t just a transaction for them. They did all they could to extend their wedding season, allowing us to have our special day in November 2020. The venue itself doesn’t need much as it’s already so beautiful, but the items available for rent only make it more beautiful. Linda helped us set up and decorate and was so helpful. I cannot express how appreciative we are for both of them. Because of them and their beautiful venue, we had such a special day that we won’t forget! -

We were fortunate enough to have the inaugural winter Holiday wedding ceremony at French Hen Farm, COVID 2020. I just can’t say enough about the beautiful venue and the expert customer service by the owners, Linda and Phil. Awesome! Even during a pandemic we were delivered a safe and incredible wedding experience. Phil officiated for Madelyn and Garrett’s ceremony and made it very special with heartfelt sentiments we all will remember for a lifetime. We heard about French Hen Farm from a friend who happen to drive by. My family now has unforgettable memories tucked away in that beautifully decorated barn. -

Make you feel like family
I can’t say enough about Phil & Linda. In the season of COVID, they took on the challenges we all faced with ease, making sure our day was still completely perfect. Phil & Linda make sure you have everything you could ever want or need. We did a Google Meet for my grandparents to watch our ceremony, and Phil & Linda made sure no one in my family had to step away to open the doors so that everyone could watch. It’s just the simple things that made a huge difference. They’re some of the best people you will work with. If you’re looking to have the most enjoyable, relaxing day (which it should be!!), please check out French Hen Farm. I cannot recommend them enough! -

The Wedding of Our Dreams
Wow, just wow! I highly recommend this venue! Phil and Linda put a lot of love into the French Hen Farm to make it what it is. They genuinely care about your wedding day and go above and beyond to make sure it is your best day ever. They checked the weather for us (the forecast had been showing thunderstorms the whole week) and even stepped in and prepped the inside of the barn to move our ceremony, Incase the rain didn’t hold out (thankfully it did!).They are very flexible and make themselves available for support and assist before, during, and after the wedding! This is not just another venue! Absolutely stunning location and caring owners. Oh and don’t forget the MANY rental options to make your big day extra special. -

It feels like wedding venues today try to lump a couple into a package. As if that describes the story between the two.
Then there is French Hen Farm, a breath of fresh air in the mirage of wedding venues. French Hen is a magnificently built venue that caters to you. The barn at French Hen is intimate, open, and beautiful. Paul and Linda were remarkable. They allowed us to rent the space (for the whole weekend, might I add) and use vendors of our choosing to bring our wedding day together. They effortlessly communicated, answering all questions. They aided in making sure everyone was safe and happy during these COVID times too. They also provide decorations couples can rent, which was a huge burden off our shoulders. Paul and Linda went above and beyond for us on our wedding day as if we were their own family. French Hen Farm allowed us to cultivate a memorable day without losing sight of why we decided to get married in the first place, love. We highly recommend them to anyone who is choosing to have a wedding. -

My husband and I married last weekend and could not have picked a better place to have our DREAM wedding! The Barn is absolutely gorgeous, from all of the stunning details inside, to the beautiful property surrounding it. The photographers’ opportunities are ENDLESS here! Our guests were just as blown away as we were.
Not only were we lucky to have stumbled upon the location itself, but the owners, Phil and Linda, are phenomenal people. My husband and I had to push our wedding back another year, and they happily arranged that for us. They are quick to respond, and even quicker to lend a helping hand. They TRULY care about their couples.
With plenty of COVID mitigation from the Health Department, Phil and Linda went out of their way to ensure our wedding and others, would remain possible, with supplying gorgeous, tasteful signs that didn’t take away from our original vision, even hand sanitizer and a few extra masks. They made such an effort to not let this time in the world take away from our perfect day, or anyone’s comfort and safety.
Ourselves and our guests had an INCREDIBLE experience here. We are flooded with compliments by our friends and family over this location. We could not imagine having our celebration anywhere else but here. If you are looking for a flawless barn venue with a friendly, encouraging, and overwhelmingly happy atmosphere- look no further. Don’t hesitate though, they rightfully book quickly! ♥️

We held our wedding at the French Hen Farm and could not have asked for a better experience. Phil and Linda are absolutely amazing and made sure our day went exactly how we envisioned. Where do I begin?!
Phil and Linda are the most amazing, caring and kind people you will ever meet! They did everything in their power to make sure our wedding was as perfect and normal as can be due to Covid-19 and the new restrictions and guidelines. We started planning with them last fall and had our wedding scheduled for May 2020. Due to the pandemic, we had to reschedule. We are overjoyed that we rescheduled with French Hen Farm for June 2020. They supplied hand sanitizer for all our guests and made beautiful COVID-19 regulation signs that matched the venue. The day of the wedding, they both lended a helping hand with final touches. They were so patient and welcoming as we were planning and let us visit the venue a few times with family from out of state and they never acted as they were bothered in any way. The venue includes the entire weekend of Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The cost of this was so reasonable we thought it was too good to be true! We held our rehearsal dinner here, had the day to decorate on Friday, had the wedding Saturday and cleaned up on Sunday. Phil and Linda never treated us as “just another event” and we’re such a pleasure to work with. We have gained two new friends and had a beautiful wedding at their venue. Thank you Phil and Linda if you are reading this, from the bottoms of our hearts! ❤️😊 -

Beautiful Barn wedding
My now wife and I have been working with Phil and linda for quite some time leading up to our wedding. We started planning last fall and then with COVID-19 we had to push our wedding back a little bit. We were able to get married last weekend and I can’t say enough about how great Phil and linda were. From helping us find the right vendors, making sure we stay within our budget, helping adjust to all the new restrictions from the health department to even making sure we had hand sanitizer for our guests. We didn’t have a wedding coordinator (maybe we should have?? Haha) but with french hen farm we were able to get everything lined up and it went off perfectly. Not to mention how reasonable the pricing is for the venue. Try and find another venue that gives you the whole weekend for anywhere close in price (I tried and couldn’t). Add all of this on to the fact that they actually care about their couples, when we weren’t sure if we were going to be able to have our wedding they stepped up and contacted the right people to make sure we could have the wedding while also staying safe. Phil and linda were also very flexible with us visiting the venue beforehand. We ended up going out a couple times due to family being in town from out of state and they treated us with a smile every time and never made us feel like we were bothering them or “just another event”. I could go on and on but I’ll stop with this, if you want a beautiful barn wedding anywhere in central Ohio stop your search and go talk to Phil and linda. You won’t be disappointed! -

Beyond perfect!
Phil and Linda are so helpful and so experienced. They helped us with vendors, ideas, layout, timing and they wanted it to be exactly what we wanted and make it unique to us! They helped to bring our vision of our event to life by helping with set up and decor while providing options and suggestions without stepping on toes. Wedding day
Place is beyond beautiful before its even set up. Phil and Linda are super helpful. Super nice people and they’re beyond great. Also them having decorations you can rent makes it so much more conscience then trying to go buy a bunch of stuff or make a bunch . Would definitely recommend to anyone ! -

Now, I held my wedding here but I've seen many different events held at TFH! When my now husband and I met with our wedding planners we realized we didn't want a cookie cutter day! Nor did we want to pay a fortune for it, which can poss as a pretty difficult challenge! Thankful, our planners new of what they called "central cbus's best kept secret" The French Hen! Okay, the name alone I was in love! We saw the venue once and knew it was the one! Phil (owner) let me see the venue a few times after for my planning purposes. And did a walk through of the barn & grounds a few days before our weekend! Yes, we had the property entire weekend! So we did 90% of the decorating and prep the night before and the the vendors could come asap in the AM. Needless to say this made our day feel much less stressful! I focus on my self and my family. I do recommend getting a wedding planner or coordinator! Can't say enough wonderfully things! -

Excellent people, excellent venue
The Shandles were wonderful people to work with, maintain a beautiful venue, and certainly do anything to ensure all needs are met. They allowed me to view the space multiple times during planning so that there were no questions leading up to the big day. They were available continually during set up and the day of event and have excellent props if needed. The barn, pond, and general area is beautiful year round and we received so many compliments. If you’re looking for a indoor or outdoor barn/country venue, look no farther! -

Absolutely perfect
I always knew I wanted a barn wedding, well after looking at a few barns around the area I just didn’t “love” them. So I kept searching and came across French Hen Farm, and I told my husband without even touring the barn yet “this is the one, I just know it” so we chatted with Phil and went out to take a tour. We pulled up and I was speechless, the venue was absolutely flawless and perfect in every way. From the chandeliers hanging beautifully on the ceilings, to the pond, and willow tree. I didn’t even have the second guess, I looked at my husband and said this is where we are getting married. Without missing a beat he said yes, and loved it as well. Throughout the whole process, they were such awesome people to work with. Very helpful and patient with us through everything! They let us come out to the barn whenever we wanted to, especially when it came closer to the big day. They let us come out with our wedding planner, and go over all of our details with her. I am so thankful we were able to find this barn and that I was able to marry my best friend here. Our friends and family rant about how beautiful the farm was, and I can only hope that we enjoy other weddings here!! You truly are missing out if you don’t book with them! Thank you so much for everything!!!!! (And it made for beautiful pictures!) -
