I have to say that I couldn’t have asked for a better make-up artist. She and her oh-so-sweet assistant 😊 did an amazing job on my bridesmaids and the rest of my bridal party. The make-up looked flawless on all the girls and Jillian’s airbrush skills are PHENOMENAL. If you’re looking for quality bridal make-up, LOOK NO FURTHER. Free Edge Studio is IT. I’m very into make-up and could easily tell that all of their products were of GREAT quality. I was beyond impressed with their services and will be going back to have my make-up done for any future events.

Works Well with a Variety of Skin Tones
I discovered Jillian through her portfolio and her work on fashion week but it was her meeting with me and her personality that sealed the deal.
Her portfolio showcased her work on a variety of nationalities, skin types, and tones which was important to me because of the diversity of my wedding party.
She dedicated time to work with me before the wedding. On the day she and her assistant, Christine, handled 5 bridesmaids, mothers of the bride and groom, a flower girl and me with time to spare.
She is efficient, has a great team, and is excellent at translating your vision into reality.
I would highly recommend Jillian and Free Edge for your wedding.

Engagement Photos
I hired Jillian as my makeup artist for my engagement photos. My fiancé and I had to make a sudden, last minute change of the photoshoot date due to a bad weather forecast, but Jillian was flexible and understanding of the situation. The day of, I had a great experience with Jillian, and I found her to be very personable, nice, and funny. My airbrush makeup looked very natural, which is exactly what I wanted. My makeup looked perfect and did not budge from the time I left her studio at 12:30 PM through my entire shoot, which was in the evening. I would definitely recommend booking her.

Jillian is professional, comfortable and so personable. Me and my bridesmaids were all so in love with our makeup and so happy with Jillian’s services. My bridal makeup lasted all night, no eyelash fell out of place or smudge ended up on my dress, the makeup felt weightless on my face and I was happy with the products Jillian used. Best Makeup Artist I Ever Had!
Jillian was an incredible makeup artist for my wedding day and I would highly recommend her services! Not only is she a talented and professional makeup artist but she also made me feel extremely welcomed. She has a very easy-to-talk-to nature and ultimately was such a pleasure to work with. I booked last minute and literally had my trial the week of my wedding, but Jillian made the booking process so easy and worked with me as schedules changed. My family also had their makeup done by Jillian and were blow away by her incredible talent! I had so many compliments the day of - I felt so beautiful! Jillian is amazing at what she does! The makeup was flawless, the price was reasonable, and she is just a great person all around. Very responsive, asks a lot of questions about what you like/want, the quality is outstanding. We got married on July 4 and it was 88 degrees with no clouds in the sky…. my makeup did not run or sweat off at all. It lasted from 6am until about 10am when I showered and washed my face. 100% recommended for makeup! She also does nails, which I see her for as well…. 10/10 recommended as well 😉

Jillian was such a joy to work with! I felt like a queen and all my bridesmaids looked amazing. We had a large number of women that needed their makeup done in a short period of time and Jillian was so on top of it! Very passionate about her work.
Jillian is one of the best makeup artist in the Hudson Valley. Being a woman of color finding the right makeup artist was very important for me. Jill was totally amazing, her and her assistant were so sweet to me and all my bridesmaids. We all had different luxe we were going for, some wanted more make up than others and they nailed each and everyone. My make up looks good all night, even when I got home after the wedding. She also did my nails a few days prior and they photographed amazing as well! I would highly recommend her.

An amazing experience
From beginning to end, I had the most positive experience with Jillian. She is patient, accommodating, and has one of the best personalities. She put my mind at ease when I had to postpone my wedding twice due to Covid and was quick to answer every question and concern that I had in the meantime. I had about a million different ideas in my head as to how I wanted to look, but she truly brought my vision to life in the most creative way. On the wedding day, everything went smoothly and all of my girls loved her. Although the day itself has the tendency to be stressful, getting ready was one of my favorite parts thanks to her and her assistant who made it fun. I've never felt more beautiful in my entire life, and got so many compliments. It's also worth mentioning that my makeup stayed put during a humid 95 degree day.
