Franklin & Alison Music: A Wedding Band Dream Come True!

Franklin & Alison Music absolutely exceeded all of our expectations and truly went above and beyond what we could have hoped for in a wedding band. If you're looking for a group that will keep your guests dancing all night long, look no further—this band is, without a doubt, the best value for your money!

From the very beginning, Sam, the MC, was a complete gem. He took the time to meet with us beforehand and understood exactly what we wanted out of the music for our big day. His attention to detail and personalization was top-notch. Sam also learned a last-minute song for us and sent us videos of his progress.

Laraine, the band manager, was equally fantastic. She was always available to answer any questions and made sure we felt completely taken care of every step of the way. Her quick responses and professionalism reassured us that we were in the best hands possible.

As for the band itself—WOW! They absolutely rocked our wedding. The dance floor was packed from start to finish. It didn’t matter if you were 20 or 80; everyone was on their feet, loving every minute of the live music. We had so many guests ask us for their contact information, which is the highest compliment we could receive.

Fabulous!! My husband and I had booked with Franklin-Alison Music because they were able to offer us everything we were looking for. We booked Ray Bicolli’s strings and a pianist for our ceremony/cocktail hour as well as DJ Ty Chappell for our reception. We were NOT disappointed. As a bride, I was always researching and planning. Ty and Ray asked me all of the questions and essentially helped me plan out the music portion of the day. They call you and basically walk you through everything that needs to be figured out. Really, they made my life easier. As I got closer to the wedding, you learn to appreciate companies like that. As far as the wedding day goes, our DJ Ty took control over the day using the microphone to help inform people of what was going on, helping guide them as to what we were doing next, and again just letting me have a good time while he made sure everything ran smoothly. He was also incredibly flexible. Ty was very good in the spotlight and made for a very memorable garter toss. While the garter and bouquet toss portion of the evening can be cringe worthy, our wedding’s Garter toss was very upbeat, playful, and fun. People were on the dance floor all night. That says a lot when you have not only younger people saying they loved the DJ but older relatives as well. Music is such a big part of the day, and in my opinion they were worth every penny. The Franklin and Alison Orchestra is extremely talented! From the very beginning, they listened to all of our needs and concerns. Everyone at our wedding continued to state that we had the best band!! I loved them and they definitely helped make our wedding day so special. After meeting with several bands, I have no doubt that we made the best decision in choosing them as our band. They really were, at all times, professional, elegant and fun!

AMAZING! The best band!

Laraine, Keith and all of the band members were amazing. Laraine was very professional, understanding and on top of it all. She helped our wedding run smoothly and made it a blast. Keith is an amazing musician and made sure all details were what we wanted. The lead singer was fabulous and so were the rest of the 12 piece band musicians. They made it a night to remember. EVERYONE was up dancing!! I have all amazing things to say. I am recommending them to all of my friends, family and anyone I meet.

We danced all night!

“OMG Where did you find that band! They were awesome! “ “Did you know that people were even dancing before you got there? “ That’s just some of the feedback we’ve received about the Franklin Alison Band.

So many decisions go into planning the perfect wedding, but the easiest decision was choosing Franklin Alison Music to play at our cocktail hour and reception. From the first conversation we knew we were going to have fun! We wanted a celebration and we wanted to dance.

Although we made suggestions as to the kind of music we wanted, we left it up to Keith and we were not disappointed. The dance floor was always full. They even learned our first dance song which was country. They played everything from Springsteen to Motown to Sweet Caroline. The horns were outstanding and the vocals brought the house down. Laraine had many suggestions for making our evening a success. You can’t go wrong if you book this band!

Look no further!

We were married in West Chester, PA on 6/24/23 and we hired Franklin & Allison Music. Our families have high expectations for music and we were confident Franklin & Allison would deliver - and they absolutely did! They played the perfect mix of songs (80s, 90s, etc.) and kept people dancing all night (despite the heat!). It was so much fun and we would hire them again in a second!

Energetic and Fun Band!

Franklin and Alison Music is NOT a "wedding" band. They're fun, vibrant, talented entertainers and a pleasure to work with!
We knew we didn't want a DJ for our wedding, but had no idea where to start looking for a band. We wanted a band that would play a mix of Top 40s and some 90s and be able to play some custom requests. But most importantly, we wanted people to DANCE! Well, our venue owner's son was getting married a few weeks after us and he suggested the band he had hired: Franklin and Alison Music. What better recommendation could there be? Laraine Alison and Keith Franklin are a married duo. Laraine manages the band and communicates with you during the prep period, and then Keith is the bandleader and works with you the day/night of the wedding. They're both a lot of fun, energetic, funny, and caring people. Laraine asked all the right questions, was flexible to work with, and very open to communication. We worked through the song list with her, told her what we DID and DIDN'T want, and asked her to play some custom numbers the band would have to learn for us. She had great feedback, and helped to provide us with a sound setup for the officiant as well as hooking us up with ceremony musicians. The cocktail hour music was elegant and classy. The night of the wedding, the Band was FANTASTIC! People danced all night, the energy was high, our opening song made everyone cry! We had the whole band including horn section (that saxophone makes a HUGE impact -- get the horn section!) and Catrice's voice is incredible -- it should be, she's a Broadway singer! Even during the wedding, people kept asking me about the band - where did you find them? they're amazing! - and after the wedding, it's one of the main things people mention when they say how fun the wedding was.

Thank you so much to Franklin and Alison Music! One of my best memories of the night is jumping and dancing until I couldn't breathe anymore! It was wonderful!

It has been 11 years since our wedding and we still get compliments about our band! They are fabulous! Keith and Laraine are great to work with...friendly, professional, and attentive. The band has great sound and an extensive repetoire of music from which to choose from. You can not go wrong with this band!

5+++ Stars!

If I could give Franklin & Alison Music 5+++ stars I would. Laraine is the nicest and sweetest person. She is also extremely accommodating. My wedding was originally scheduled for August 2020. After switching our wedding date due to COVID multiple times, Laraine said they were available each and every time. I also remember on the day that was supposed to be our wedding date, Laraine sent us a special email telling us “happy what would have been your anniversary day.” It made my husband and I feel special that our band was thinking about us.  I ended up finally getting married in August 2021. My dad made a special request for a song that he sang and did not have the sheet music for. Keith, spent the time to write sheet music and they played it at our wedding. This band is top notch. Everything we asked for, we got. Everything WAS PERFECT. If you are looking for a wedding band that sounds amazing, is accommodating, just the nicest people, please choose Franklin & Alison Music.

This is the third "In the family" wedding that they have done and we knew they were going to be a great fit. We had the nine peice band. Everybody raved about the music all night. They played the perfect mix of slow and dance music and fit our personalities to a tee. couldn't find a thing wrong except they had to stop playing!

Fantastic to work with!

Franklin & Alison Orchestra played our annual TESU Foundation Gala event for the first time this year. From our initial contact Laraine was enthusiastic, responsive, professional and overall a truly a pleasure to work with. The band executed their roles in our intricate event program and timeline flawlessly, and were very flexible and accommodating to last minute changes. Our guests danced and enjoyed the musical experience they provided. Thanks Laraine and Keith for all you did to make our event a success and for being so great to work with :)

They Danced All Night...

First Laraine was the best to work with! Our venue, while gorgeous, had odd acoustics. She knew what the room could handle and her best musicians for the job. She listened to the bride and groom and made certain to play their songs. I even threw them a curveball at the last minute and they went right along.

I got so many compliments on this band. They had everyone on their feet all night and crying for more when the evening ended! They are real pros.

Franklin and Alison orchestra did a fantastic job at our wedding on November 8, 2015. They were great at responding to emails and staying in contact. The music went above and beyond our expectations. Amazing Music

My husband and I were thrilled with our band choice for our wedding. They sounded great and kept everyone on the dance floor the whole evening. I can't even begin to tell you how many wedding guests came up to me to tell me that FAO was the best band they had ever heard at a wedding. They did such an amazing job from start to finish including finding some strings for the ceremony. I was honestly a little nervous because I had only been to a couple of other weddings with bands and I wasn't sure what to expect but they did such an awesome job that I'm so happy we decided to go with them. the dance floor was packed the entire night with ALL of our guests...both young and old! And Larraine was very helpful with the whole planning process couldn't have asked for a better group of people on my wedding day.

Price-Barocca Wedding - June 2012

What an absolutely fantastic Band. They added so much to the wedding. The Franklin & Alison Orchestra/Dance Band is simply the best. Their music sounds just like the original recordings by the original bands/singers. Also, the fact that they feature several different singers that sound just like the original recording artists makes them so unique. They also have a long and current song play list. They can do anything. I cannot think of ever having any band but Franklin & Alison for any event. Every and I mean every guest at the wedding raved about the band. The first question that we ask when we are invited to the wedding is, "who is the band?" When it is not the Franklin & Alison Band, we are disappointed. On a 10-point scale where 10 is the top, I would rate them a 15+!! If you have not looked at them for your event, do it now! If you have not hired them for your event you have missed the boat!

This band was out of this world!!!! Laraine was so accommodating to work with, and made all my requests happen!! They even learned the song I wanted played to walk down the aisle to. They were able to work with my budget and had a huge variety of music. The party never stopped dancing! I have had compliments on this band weeks after the wedding was over about how awesome they were and how much fun was had! No one stopped dancing the whole night. Literally, best money spent in the wedding planning process!!!!

We loved the Franklin and Alison Orchestra for our wedding two and a half weeks ago. All of our guests were blown away when they walked in to the reception and saw a 9-piece band on stage ready to go. They made the night so much fun. The owner was wonderful and enthusiastic from the beginning and gave us a great deal. We ended up going for an additional half hour, which was a great idea, and they still had to tell us when they night was over because our guests were having so much fun dancing to their music. We were extremely pleased with their performance and would love to work with them again.

Exceptional

Do not look any further, this is the best band and group of professionals to work with for your special day. Laraine is a pleasure and was understanding and flexible as we had to change our date 3x due to Covid. They organized and provided our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception music. Our guest cannot stop talking about the band and the dance floor was never empty. Laraine took the time to get to know my husband and I and made our event very personal. She is professional, organized, energetic, and so easy to work with. This was literally the least stressful part of my planning due to her hard work and talents. You will not find a better band nor a better point person than Laraine. She really cares and I cannot thank them enough for making our day the best!

Best band ever!

We could not have been happier with Franklin & Alison Music! Laraine was extremely communictive through the entire planning process and was phenomenal to work with. The band was amazing! Our guests are still giving us compliments on how much they loved the band. They read the vibe of the room from start to finish and our dance floor was packed the entire evening! You need to hire them for your wedding. It took our wedding up 10 notches and we are so thankful that we had the opportunity to book them!

You won't regret it!!! Best band my guests have ever heard. Laraine was a doll to work with - it felt like we were best friends for years. She worked with us to curate a wedding play list that we LOVED, and also learned TWO songs for our wedding (first dance and father/bride dance). The band was outstanding! Take your event from good to great

Franklin and Alison did an amazing job performing at our son’s 175 person late July wedding reception. Folks who don’t usually dance were out on the dance floor which was nearly packed right thru to the last song. Everyone raved about them that night and for weeks afterward. Music selection was outstanding and reflect a great blend of our favorites and recommended pieces from Alison and Keith which they knew the band would nail - which they did. It was a great experience from planning thru the end of the wedding night. I highly recommend them

The Franklin & Alison band is absolutely amazing! My husband and I were married in July of 2017 in Cape May, NJ and they really got the party rocking! Our dance floor was so crowded that some people had to dance to the side of it- no one sat the whole night. We got so many compliments on the band, that even dates of guests texted us to compliment the band's performance. They have something for anything you may want (Bruce, Bruno, Pop, Soulful, Disco, R&B.. etc). As they have 3-4 major vocalists they never took a break- which was a particularly notable aspect of their performance. A friend of mine already booked them for her wedding this spring.

Also, Loraine was really sweet and totally accommodating.

Do not hesitate! Book them before they are booked up!!

Best wedding band ever!!!

We were thrilled with this band! Each individual is an incredibly talent musician, such engaging and energetic personalities. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how great they were. The only downside is now going to other weddings where these guys don’t perform! Highly recommend and shoutout to Laraine for all of your help making sure our experience was perfect.

Amazing music, Genuinely Kind Team

I cannot say enough amazing things about the Franklin Alison Band and their talented musicians! Their musical performance was the talk of the night at our wedding, and every guest said that the band made the event (and we agree). The band read the crowd throughout the evening and flexed their musical selections to make sure that everyone was up and on the dance floor.

The band learned our first dance (Ed Sheeran's First Times) and performed such a beautiful rendition of it that I thought it was better than the original version! Several performers also played during cocktail hour, and the jazz trio was the perfect addition to this part of our night.

I also want to comment on how genuinely lovely everyone in the band is. I lost my mom about a year before my wedding day. She had helped us pick the band before her passing, and so she had been in some communication with the band manager, Laraine. Between my mom's passing and our wedding day, Laraine emailed me several times to let me know that she was thinking of me and my family during this difficult time -- something that wasn't necessary but really meant a lot to me as the wedding approached. The band was able to hold space for some of the big emotions that everyone at our wedding felt, and I appreciate that they were able to both entertain while also being sensitive to the mixed emotions felt by many of us on our wedding day. In addition to being fantastic musicians, they are also great people who go above and beyond their actual job.

Some final pieces of information that helped us select this band for our wedding were: The band will not take set breaks throughout the night and will instead filter musicians in and out so that the music doesn't stop and start periodically. That was important to us, as we wanted to ensure continual music during our reception. We also liked that the band has been together for a really long time and doesn't switch musicians regularly (as this is something that does happen in other bands we looked at). These were key pieces of information that helped us to select them as our wedding band, and we could not more highly recommend them.

We found the band by hearing their trio play at a restaurant. We then followed up with them and heard the whole band play at a bridal show. We were hooked! We bonded with Laraine instantly and she was so easy to work with. The band learned a new song or two (or three) for us and did an amazing job. They made our wedding reception unforgettable!

Our wedding absolutely blew our highest expectations completely out of the water!!! Everything was so above and beyond our wildest dreams - it was the very best day of our lives. And, there is not one question that the Franklin Alison Orchestra totally made it that way!!! They were so unbelievable. Everyone one of our guests said the same thing - they kept telling us how amazing the band was - the best they've ever heard at a wedding!! To this day we are still hearing rave reviews of them. They had everyone on the dance floor all night and that's exactly what we wanted...by the last song not one person was sitting down! They even learned a special new song for us, which totally made our night.

Great wedding band with a personal touch

Franklin Alison Music made my wedding day dreams come true. There was no question that we wanted live music for our winter wedding but we had a hard time finding a band that could make our special ceremony musical performance a reality. I wanted my best friend to sing a queen queen song and needed a band that would rehearse and take care of the arrangement but had a hard time finding a group that could do it all. Then I met Keith and Lorraine from Franklin Alison Music. They took care of all our music and everyone loved it! Easy to work with, eclectic, fun, sweet, energetic and so much more. Highly recommend!

The highlight of our daughter's wedding was the music. 'The Other Band' was the perfect group for our event. Great professional musicians with a vast repertoire of music that addressed a diverse age group and tastes. They had that perfect balance of providing superb music while making sure that the focus remained on the bride and groom. They were able to sense and respond to the crowd, keeping the energy level flowing throughout the evening - never during the evening was the dance floor not packed. Just as important, working with Mike and Allison prior to the wedding to establish the song list and special music requests was a delight. They were flexible and easily adapted to the many requests we had. For weeks after the wedding, every time I ran into someone who was at the wedding their first comment was how much fun they had because of the great music. They have my strongest recommendation for any wedding or other event where you want great music professionally delivered.

The band was absolutely incredible. EVERYONE said they made the party! They kept the party literally on their feet the entire evening. No one wanted to sit down because they made it so much fun. They fulfilled all the special requests made and barely took a break. If you want to have the most memorable event this is your best choice!!

Fun, easy to work with- book them!!

Laraine and Keith were a dream to work with! They had all of our guests on the dance floor throughout the whole night! The sound technician walked around all evening to ensure the sound was up to par and quality. If you want a fun, seamless process then book them ASAP!

My husband and I recently got married in April and were planning our wedding long distance. I read and listened to a ton of bands remotely and was very particular about what I wanted in a band from an authenticity and variety of music stand point. When I saw Franklin & Alison's video, I felt in love with their performances and immediately reached out to Laraine who was super responsive. She has such great energy and was an absolute pleasure to work with...she really worked to accommodate us with the right scenario for our particular wedding which I'm very grateful for. The whole process was fun and a breeze leading up to the wedding. On wedding day, Keith was phenomenal as the MC and each musician absolutely rocked it! We are getting so many compliments on the talent and versatility of the band...so much range that you won't get with other bands (and actually have it sound great). People danced all night and had so much fun. I only hope that we can attend a future wedding as guests so we can dance all night. Highly recommend them to anyone in the tri-state area planning a wedding or event.

If you are looking for a band that will deliver the highest quality instrumentation, instrumental performance, and vocals that will send a chill down your spine then this is the band for you.This is not a gimmicky" wedding band" that substitutes flash for quality music. FAO played at my daughter's wedding on September 24th at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. I can't get their music out of my head. It was perfection. Keith is a musical genius and each song was executed with complete finesse. FAO is a group of highly talented and skilled musicians that do what they love and produce music that more often than not sounds even better than the originals. We had several special requests, not on their repertoire that they delivered brilliantly. My daughter was so excited to learn how many of the most recent hits were added to their song list just over the summer , such as Major Lazor ,and many more. Laraine, their manager is fantastic to work with and will collaborate with you to tailor the play list according to your tastes. Keith is a jazz pianist and played a Steinway babygrand with the rest of his quintet during the cocktail hour. Our guests were blown away by the performance. During the reception ,the dance floor was packed and no one wanted the dancing to end.

We used Franklin & Alison Orchestra for our wedding in September at Jasna Polana in Princeton and they were absolutely phenomenal. They did a great job reading the room and getting people up and dancing during the dance segments, while keeping the music quiet enough to be able to have a nice conversation during dinner.

Laraine was incredibly responsive during the planning process and a real pleasure to work with. Not only did she help set up the band, she made herself available to answer any random wedding questions we had. For instance, when we were having trouble finding a wedding planner, she sent me several referrals and went out of her way to make sure we were happy.

Can't recommend them enough!

The Franklin and Alison Orchestra was absolutely amazing! They were everything I wanted in a wedding band. My husband and I went into our wedding knowing that music was one of the most important parts, so we settled on a band. They surpassed our every expectation and then some. The party started immediately and continued through the night. Their music selection was crafted beautifully based on the events of the evening.
Laraine, the band director, was so helpful in planning all of the details of the evening, and Keith the band leader was truly a joy to work with on wedding day.

A perfect wedding band!

Franklin & Alison were unbelievably perfect all night long. They granted every request for the playlist, learned new songs (including our first dance) and every song sounded incredible, even changing voices and how they played instruments to match the exact sound and vibes of the actual versions of the songs. Keith also worked with the food vendors to keep everything on time and on task. Not only do they sound amazing but they know how to keep the timing on track and provide the best possible wedding night experience for you and your guests. They could not have been better!

The Franklin Alison Band was wonderful to deal with. They were very accommodating to all of our needs and especially for our music selection at our country farm wedding in June. Best Band in the Land!

The experience of working with Franklin & Alison Music was absolutely stellar! Their extraordinary talent transformed our day into a special and unforgettable experience - we couldn't have asked for a better band to play our wedding!

During the planning stages for our wedding we had a few lovely conversations with Laraine Alison, the band's manager. Throughout this process Laraine was a total professional and such a kind, warm hearted person. As folks know, planning a wedding can be a pretty stressful process, but it always felt like a joy to chat with Laraine.

During our wedding reception, the band performed as a jazz trio for the cocktail hour and morphed into a 10 piece dance band later in the night. During both of these sets, the band covered a repertoire that spanned both 20th and 21st century popular music. Classic tunes as well as modern favorites were each given their time to shine, resulting in a performance that appealed to guests of all ages.

Another truly remarkable facet of their performance was how well they sequenced the night of music. The setlist flowed naturally, and even during slower songs the band had no problem keeping our guests captivated. Oftentimes the band transitioned from one song to another without pausing or skipping a beat like true pros!

Franklin & Alison Music also honored a few special requests for us which we were so grateful for. We requested they play a few songs that were not included in their extensive songbook, including our first dance song. These special requests might as well have been tunes they were playing for years because they sounded fantastic! They also allowed me to jump up on the bandstand to perform with them as well! This of course is more of a niche request, but it was blast to play a few saxophone solos for our friends and family!

This is all to say, if you would like a band to perform at your wedding, look no further than Franklin & Alison music! I can assure you that working with them is well worth your time and the party they will help you throw will be unforgettable. To this day our party guests are still telling us how incredible the band sounded and how much fun they had dancing the night away.

from the minute we watched the online video of this band we knew we had to have them. Lorraine was wonderful with all of the planning and details and made us feel excited, comfortable and really led us in the right direction when it came to music choices. Keith was great to work with during our reception, he continued to check in with us to make sure everything was just perfect.

The musicians and singers were outstanding! Every song was great and they read the crowd and kept us all on the dance floor!! they even learned our first dance song for us and nailed it!!!

We love this band , and hope to work with them again. Highly recommend this band, they are simply the best around!

We had a fantastic experience with the Franklin and Alison Orchestra - the musicians were fabulous and they have a huge list of songs/types of music to pick from (in fact, they can pretty much do anything!). They got absolutely everyone at my wedding on the dance floor - so many people told me that it was the most fun they'd ever had at a wedding, and I think it was in large part due to the band.
I also had a great experience working with Laraine Alison, my contact person in the band. She was friendly, professional, flexible, just really easy and fun to work with! I HIGHLY recommend the Franklin and Alison Orchestra!

I am so happy we chose Franklin & Alison to play at our wedding reception! They played music that everyone in all age groups knew and loved and people were dancing all night. Just wanted to drop you a line to let you know that we were very impressed with the band. We could have easily found a band that cost more, but would have a hard time finding a better one.

So many guests came up to us to let us know that they were having a better time solely because of the quality sound of the music you were playing. You obviously enjoy what you do. The whole room knew it and joined in on the fun.

I couldn't be happier with our choice of Franklin & Alison Orchestra for our band. I had spoken with about 15-20 bands in the area, and from the first time I spoke with Laraine of Franklin & Alison, I knew this would be a great band that would meet exactly what we were looking for. Laraine is so friendly, and she truly wants to make sure you get exactly what you want for your wedding. We were able to customize our song list and she provided great tips for the overall schedule of the night. They also played a custom song for the father daughter dance, and they did an amazing job on our first dance. They played music that every generation enjoyed. We were blown away during the reception by how good they sounded. The female singer sounds like Adele. Even my grandfather raved about how great the band was! I would highly recommend this band for an amazing reception - especially if you want your guests to dance!

Just book them!

We picked Franklin & Alison Wedding Band because they had experience with our venue (Mountain Lakes House in Princeton NJ), but we are confident they would be a great pick for anyone! They worked with us to learn and highlight some of our favorite songs, including an amazing rendition of "Conversations in the Dark" by John Legend. They have a fantastic range, with vocalists that can capture any song and talented musicians. Our guests were complimenting the band all night, and the bartender even booked the band for an upcoming event. This was money well spent, and a part of our wedding we will never forget.

Amazing!! We received multiple compliments from guests about how fun our band was! They were upbeat, interactive and a ton of fun! Laraine was great to work with. From our first phone call to meeting in person to discuss different music options a month before the wedding, the entire experience was awesome. The band was even able to learn a few songs for us! I could not be happier with our choice of going with Franklin & Alison Music. Franklin & Allison Band was Superior

The brass quartet that played at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church was fantastic. The sound of the brass quartet in the church was so beautiful. The brass quartet that played at the cocktail party got the evening off to a great start. Several of the young people told me that the 9 piece band that played at the reception was great. The band director worked with the bride and groom regarding the special arrangement of the music for their first dance. The bride played her trumpet with the band and the groom played his trombone with the band which also made the evening special . The majority of the wedding guests were music instructors, members of either the Pennsbury High School Award Winning Marching Band or the Rutgers University Marching band. The lead singer had an amazing voice. It was a great party and the band made the day along with the beautiful setting and excellent service at Hotel du Village, Bucks County PA.

I can not express how amazing the band and crew were at our wedding! From start to finish Laraine the band manager was on top of everything from the ceremony music to the music selection itself! She coordinated with us everything we wanted to play and the band even learned NEW songs we requested them to play! Laraine was professional and very experienced with planning how the big day would go! If I had a question about anything she would get back to me almost immediately. Almost everyone at the wedding were on their feet dancing and complimented us on the band and music selection. At the wedding Keith made everything go smoothly from top to bottom. The Best Wedding Band Ever!!!

I can't say enough good things about this band. In early 2020, Franklin & Alison Music was one of the first vendors we hired for our daughter's wedding. As the 6/12/21 wedding date approached, we were faced with constantly changing Covid restrictions for wedding receptions. With about 8 weeks to go, the restriction called for wedding venues to allow bands, but no dancing! Well, that's a dilemma! We sat down with band manager, Laraine, to talk about how we could best utilize this fabulous group of musicians to entertain our guests during the wedding reception. She suggested a cocktail hour with an acoustic guitarist followed by jazz during dinner. We were still trying to figure out what to do after dinner when, lo and behold, the "no dancing" restriction was lifted. We hired this band because they are one of the best wedding bands around, and we got much more than that. We decided to stick with the acoustic cocktail hour, jazz dinner and ended the night with 2 hours celebrating and kicking up our heels to the fabulous Franklin & Alison Band. Fantastic all around!

Franklin & Alison made our wedding night unforgettable! Once the music got started there wasn't a minute that the dance floor was empty. Go with them! Their manager, Larine is very professional and friendly. We met multiple times in person before the wedding, they made sure your wedding goes smoothly without stress. The whole band was amazing. Their singers have amazing voices. My guests were very happy!!

The Franklin and Alison Orchestra were amazing, and they performed flawlessly throughout our wedding celebration. The dance floor was packed throughout the night because of the good music and atmosphere that they provided. They did a great job of setting the pace and making sure there was a nice balance of music/dancing with dining/conversations. Laraine was the representative contact, and she was always so accommodating and responsive. We never hesitated to discuss anything with her because she was so receptive and helpful. We have absolutely no regrets about selecting the F&A Orchestra for our wedding - they were perfect - we highly recommend!

Franklin & Alison is the best wedding band out there!

This is the best wedding band I have ever heard! Our daughter hired Franklin & Alison music for her wedding based on their reputation and they exceeded all of our greatest expectations! First, they were extremely organized and accommodating and worked with all of us to plan the wedding day schedule, truly listening to what the bride and the groom wanted. They kept us on schedule with planning everything. They looked at our venue space in advance, met with the venue coordinator and took care of all the details. They learned a beautiful and unknown song for my daughter's first dance and sounded better than the original! They played the best music throughout the cocktail hour, dinner and party. Once everyone got on the dance floor there was no stopping them! The music made the wedding!!! The whole band, the singers, guitar players, keyboard, drums, sax player were such professional and talented musicians. I can't believe how lucky we were to have this band and their truly exceptional musicians .

This band was truly amazing. They had the whole room up dancing. Their versatility and depth of talent is astonishing. Laraine was so easy to work with, I never worried about a thing. They tailored the music to what we requested, and were professional at every step along the way. I could not be more happy with Franklin and Alison. What an amazing group. F&A Band had our guests dancing their butts off ALL NIGHT. They really know how to play to a crowd, and made our wedding so incredibly special. My father-daughter dance was a new song to the band, and they learned it quickly and it sounded amazing. They also had a couple Grateful Dead songs- my dad and his friends couldn't have been happier! Keith is a great band leader and Emcee. He kept the party moving and made sure that the toasts, etc. went as planned. The musicians are excellent and the singers were phenomenal! Laraine is an absolute joy to work with and is very responsive via email and phone. She worked with us every step of the way, helping us craft our perfect setlist. She is so much fun and so knowledgable about weddings, particularly the New Jersey wedding scene. She was so helpful with etiquette and planning the night, like entrances and special dances and traditions. I can't recommend them enough! I hope I see them at my friends' weddings in the future!

Franklin and Alison worked closely with me on all aspects of their performance at my reception, and were responsive to all of my requests. It's two months later and I'm still getting compliments and rave reviews about F&A from wedding guests. They played such a variety that everyone enjoyed themselves - something for everyone. F&A also learned two new songs for me and my groom - our first dance, and an extra song that was special to us. All in all - five stars all the way around. Thanks F&A for helping to make our wedding day spectacular!

The Franklin & Alison Orchestra are an amazing wedding band. They provided us with lively and entertaining music throughout the entire reception. They learned our first dances before the event, and played songs based on a song list we provided. All our guests were so impressed with the band. They had people up and dancing before the main course, and then kept people dancing throughout the whole night. If you're looking for a band that knows how to do weddings, Franklin & Alison are for you. They have vocalists, guitars, trumpets, and anything else you may want. Excellent performance!

We picked Franklin & Alison Wedding Band because we had seen them at a relative's wedding! They blew us away that night and proceeded to blow us away again on our own wedding night. Laraine and Keith are so easy to work with. They have the knowledge and expertise to make sure that your wedding day is perfect. They masterfully worked with us to learn and highlight some of our favorite songs. They have an impressive range, with vocalists that can capture almost any song and talented musicians. Elevate your wedding experience

I will just start by saying that hiring the Franklin & Alison Music Band was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding! We received compliments from all the guests for the quality of the live band we had; and to our joy, the dance floor was always brimming with people.
We happened upon the band’s website via The Knot’s suggested music provider list and absolutely loved their sample videos, songs, pictures, and testimonials.
From the get go, Laraine was a pleasure to work with - always clear, on point with her answers, considerate, personable, and compassionate. We spoke at length via several phone calls and email exchanges about our history as a couple and our music preferences and then we met in person to go over all the details and narrow down the list of our favorite songs, She paid close attention to the pronunciation of names, nailed the parent dance song suggestions and the timing of the different reception activities. Then Laraine, Keith and the band did an amazing job at compiling an extremely successful playlist customized to our wedding. Katrice’s voice is stunning and so versatile, Sam was the perfect host, Keith was just so fun to chat with, and everyone in the band was just phenomenal! We all had a blast and I couldn’t recommend Franklin & Alison Music highly enough! Hands down the best decision ever!

You will not want to leave the dance floor all night!

My husband and I have been to a few weddings with Franklin & Alison and we loved them so much we decided to book them for our own! Our wedding was in January 2022 at a tight venue and they worked with us to make it work. They did an amazing job with our first dance songs- some of which they learned just for our wedding!

All of our guests raved about how much they loved the music and that they never left the dance floor! If you are looking for a combination of wedding/dance hits and current music, I highly recommend!

We had the Franklin and Alison Orchestra play at our wedding on 9/27/14 and they were hands down fantastic. From start to finish, FAO made things easy, fun, and enjoyable. Laraine was prompt on responses and made sure she had all of our requests down.

We had a ceremony musician (guitarist), 3 musicians play during cocktail hour, and the band to keep the party going. Everyone was on the dance floor having a good time, and the band brought so much energy to our wedding that you don't get from DJ's. Keith was fun and energetic and made sure things were in order. This is a very talented group of people who helped made our wedding day unforgettable!

Wow! Amazing!

Wow...just wow!!! The Franklin Alison Orchestra brought down the house at our wedding last Friday!! I cannot recommend them enough! Laraine was extremely easy to work with and incredibly sweet. Words cannot describe the amount of excitement and gratitude I felt for this band at our wedding. Live music was a priority for us and planning during COVID was difficult because we were not able to see bands perform live. We booked this band off of their videos, which are great, but there was nothing like their in-person performance. My heart is still so full. They were absolutely, hands-down one of the best bands I have ever seen perform. I still can't get over that they were our band at our wedding. Laraine and FAO, THANK YOU!!! 1000% would recommend.

Such an amazing band! I couldn’t be happier I went with Franklin Alison for my wedding. They are so talented. I’ve gotten so many positive comments from my guests. They communicated with me at often prior to my wedding and the band leader checked in with me many times during my reception to see if I had any requests and to ensure I was happy with everything. I asked for a specific mix up of two versions of the same song for our first dance song and they had no problem making it happen. It was amazing, everything I could have dreamed of. The guitarist for a ceremony did a great job with everything I requested. Highly recommend!!!

We used the Franklin & Alison Orchestra for our wedding. They were phenomenal! Laraine was wonderful to work with and always very easy to communicate with. She was in constant touch throughout our wedding planning process. We requested several songs to be played & they did so happily. They even learned new songs for our wedding. The quality of their playing & singing was wonderful. We had an afternoon wedding & they had everyone up & dancing. All the guests commented how terrific they were. They are fun, extremely talented, professional, and committed! I recommend them highly!!!

Franklin and Allison did a fantastic job at our daughter's wedding in November! The music during the cocktail hour was great and provided a wonderful background while we greeted our guests. It was Laraine's idea to get the dancing started right away at the reception and she was right! Many guests remarked that they loved getting to dance even before the salads were served. Laraine expertly coordinated the reception timeline with the banquet manager for serving the dinner, cutting the cake, etc. Everything ran like clockwork. Prior to the wedding we requested 3 songs that were not on the band's song list. They learned all 3 and the performances were spot-on! Our family and our guests have all attended many weddings and other events, yet everyone unanimously agrees that our daughter's wedding was the best party they ever attended. We literally danced all night!

Best Day Ever!

Franklin & Alison is absolutely incredible! Lariane (the band manager) is incredibly organized, responsive, and so great at making everything flow. From the initial phone call with Lariane, I knew we were in good hands, she made the process easy. Franklin Alison Band can play anything, and I mean anything! We had a few uncommon requests, and they were able to accommodate us with no problem at all! We got married at HollyHedge Estate in New Hope on 4/13/2019, and our guests are still talking about how great the band was. I can say 100% they made our wedding; the music was awesome, and everyone was dancing all night. Keith kept everything flowing day of and made everything so easy. Book this band!

We loved having the Franklin-Alison Band for our wedding reception!! Laraine was so super helpful during the planning process. She had great suggestions and always replied right away. She was even able to coordinate a string trio for our ceremony. The song list was amazing and we were able to select the songs and genres of our preference. The band even learned our first dance song from scratch at our request!! The day of our wedding Keith was sure to check in with us and was so genuinely invested in providing us with the best entertainment ever! Our guests, while small in number, all got up to celebrate and dance with us to a great soundtrack for the night. The singers and musicians are amazingly talented and sound like a full blown professional concert. I highly recommend Franklin Alison Music for anyone looking for a great live band! Could not have asked for more!!!

FAO absolutely made our wedding reception!! So many guests were commenting that they were the best band they ever heard live, including my uncle, who plays in a band himself. They played music that was great for all guests, from mid 20s to grandparents to dance the entire night and they were also very accommodating with different requests throughout the night. They handled everything so smoothly and kept the night going on schedule. I cannot say enough good things about them and would recommend them to anyone!!

The Franklin & Alison Orchestra was incredible! Working with Laraine was easy, thorough, and most importantly we felt 100% confident in everything we planned for. Keith is also a fantastic MC! Aside from being an amazing musician, he announced our events/people perfectly while creating an edginess that had people laughing and dancing. Simply the Best!!!

A common theme after speaking to the guests at our wedding was how amazing the band was. Our dance floor was packed the entire night because of how much fun Franklin & Alison Music made our reception. I can’t express how much we would recommend that you book this band!! My wife and I have a familiar story to most who had planned a wedding in 2020, but Laraine and the band were very easy to work with through our multiple changing of our wedding date. Planning a wedding is stressful enough as it is, but Laraine made everything about booking the band very easy and stress free. Now, I am a huge music lover, especially Dave Matthews. Laraine and Keith made a unique playlist for us that included some Dave Matthews which made my day! Oh, they also learned our first dance, the father/daughter dance, and mother/son dance. They are truly talented musicians who will do everything to make your day special and unique. Thank you to Laraine, Keith, and the band. You rock!!!

Best Wedding Band!

These guys are awesome! In a time when it seems like so many weddings are opting to go with DJ's, Franklin & Alison knocked it out of the park. Laraine was great to work with ahead of time and help plan out the reception with the specific songs for the mother/son & father/daughter dances, which included songs they learned how to play just for the wedding, and various events that happen throughout a reception. Laraine met with us a couple months before the wedding and went over our style and what songs we wanted to hear and then when the wedding day came the band delivered in a big way! Everyone I talked to raved about how good Franklin & Alison was playing - they got people on the dance floor early and kept them out there! They were professional, sounded amazing, and kept the party going the whole night! I couldn't recommend them enough!

We loved the band. They were easy to work with and everyone had compliments about them. They sounded great and were willing to learn songs for the son and mother dance as well as a few of our favorites for the night. They were extremely flexible and played during our cocktail hour, during dinner, and were awesome after dinner. The only problem that we ran into was that they took a break while we were taking a family picture and it took a little bit longer than I would have liked to get them back to playing again. Other than the unexpected break, they played continuously and sounded awesome.

Franklin and Alison Orchestra was worth every dime! Keith was so much fun and Laraine was very easy to work with. I had a jazz trio, and a full swing band, both provided by Franklin and Alison Orchestra. I was very weary of using a live band, but I was blown away! They did an amazing job, and were on time, and on every cue. My family, including grandparents, were dancing all night. I requested all swing and oldies, and that is what they provided! They had the jazz trio set up out side of my dining areas for my families room and my own! It was perfect. I recommend them to anybody and everybody. Loved them!

The Franklin & Alison Orchestra was the hit of the party! We had a guitar player for the ceremony, trio for the cocktail hour, and 8 pieces for the reception. They learned our quirky first dance song and played it beautifully, and made the whole process super easy for us. But most importantly: everyone is STILL talking about the fun they had listening to and dancing to the band! They were expensive (as any band would be!), but worth every penny. They helped our party come alive!

We hired the Franklin & Alison Orchestra for a 75th Anniversary Gala attended by close to 400 people. Their music was fantastic and everyone was on the dance floor! They are a talented group and we found their contemporary music to be as popular with the crowd as the oldies they played. I have personally attended many company dances for other agencies in my years and always find that the crowd mostly sits, eats and drinks. Certainly not the case with our Gala! At the end of the evening the waiters were clearning the tables and our guests were sitll dancing!
