We got married at Fresco at the Gardens in Anderson Japanese Gardens. They did an absolutely phenomenal job with the wedding! They had plenty of employees there to ensure everything was running smoothly. When the toasts went too long, they quietly started getting the dinner plates passed out so we wouldn't be behind in our timeline. We did not pay for a wedding planner, but honestly the employees at Fresco were so fantastic we wouldn't have needed one. We also had a wedding brunch the next day at Fresco where way more people came than we accounted for, and Fresco was flexible, adaptable, and ensured the brunch was a success too. The rehearsal dinner at Franchesco's was also superb!

We chose Franchesco’s for our wedding caterer and honestly cannot say enough good things. From the very start, everything about our experience was exceptional. We set up a tasting where we had our choice of trying several appetizers, salads, and entrées for a group of six of us. She even had them make us a pizza to take home as we were planning to have pizza as a late night snack. The food was so wonderful we decided to book them on the spot at our tasting. Throughout the time leading up to our wedding, Michelle LaMay walked us through everything and was so accommodating with all of our food allergies/preferences and ensuring every detail was well taken care of. On our wedding day, the service was incredible and Michelle went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect including checking on us frequently to see if there was anything she could do for us. She even helped break down extra tables when we needed more room for the dance floor! We received so many compliments from guests on our appetizers and dinner choices. I highly recommend Franchesco’s to anyone looking for a wonderful caterer to provide great food and excellent service for your wedding or special event!

Having Franchesco's be our caterer for our wedding was absolutely the best choice and caterer we could've gone with. From the tasting to the day of the wedding, everything was fantastic. We had to have one dish cooked off-site to accommodate guests allergies and even that dish, we were told, was delicious and cooked to perfection. My husband and I will make it a tradition to eat there at their restaurant on a regular basis! Thank you for giving us such a great service and even more delicious food!

This was an easy decision for us from start to finish.

We were looking for a place to cater our wedding in the Rockford area. There were a few options but luckily Franchesco's was our first stop. Michelle brought our whole family in for a tasting and we were able to choose ahead what we wanted to try. There were so many options available and it was hard to choose what we wanted as they were all so good. We booked right then and there after the tasting. Michelle stayed diligent throughout the whole process accommodating us and even bringing us in for another dinner to finalize everything.

Come to the wedding day. The setup was fluid, the service was impeccable from the apps to the dessert (highly recommend serving the gelato!!), the linens were wrinkle free and the guests noticed! We had so many compliments for the chefs from our family and friends. Not to mention ending the night with their delicious pizzas.

My wife and I often reminisce on our big day and we always go back to the food and service from Franchescos! I would steer anyone in the direction of them who is wondering if this is the right decision. Rockford or somewhat near there; book them!

I could not have been happier with the team at Franchescos! Everyone was so kind and went above and beyond to make sure we were cared for on, and even before, our wedding day. The food tasted amazing! We received so many compliments after the wedding on how great everything tasted! From the appetizers, main entrées, late night snack, and cake, we were so happy with how everything turned out. We are so grateful we booked Franchescos as our caterer on our wedding day!

I am so happy we chose Franchesco’s! The staff was great. They were very accommodating to our needs. Everyone at the reception said the food was great. They worked with us closely to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. Thank you for making our big day perfect for us and our guest. Kim’s cakes are amazing too!

They are the exclusive caterer for outdoor events at Klehm Arboretum, where we had our wedding. Michelle Lamay is so sweet and was an absolute gem to work with. She really made us feel loved and cared for during the planning stages of the wedding and especially on our big day. All of our wedding guests raved about how good the food was. We did the BBQ Fiesta Buffet package with beer, wine, and soda. I mentioned to Michelle that I like Moscato, but it was considered a "premium" selection and we couldn't afford that package. She comes up to me during the reception with a nice bottle of Moscato Champagne in hand and said she brought it just for me! I was blown away by her kindness and attention to detail. If you want a stress-free experience and delicious food, choose Franchesco's!

We had a wonderful experience with Franchesco's catering our wedding! Michelle was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the whole process. The food was delicious and we got tons of compliments for it afterwards. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family for future weddings!

We celebrated my daughter Alexandra's and Jacob's wedding at Franchescos last week. Everything was amazing. The attention to all the details, food, decor, service and planning with Kim and her staff went perfect. The venue is picture perfect and elegant for celebrating your wedding. The food was sublime. Our wedding was big, it did not stop Franchescos from delivering hot perfectly cooked entrees to all our guests in a timely fashion. I recommend Franchescos for celebrating your special occasions.

My wife and I got married in South Beloit. Franchesco's was their preferred vendor for catering. Surprised it was such a family affair for such a large restaurant. We met Michelle (owners daughter) multiple times over the wedding planning process to make sure everything was perfect. She was on top of everything. Kim (Michelle's mom) made our wedding cake. It was gorgeous. On our wedding day Michelle was their helping to dish out food and make sure everything was perfect. Benny was in venues kitchen. Truly a family run establishment. The food was hot and absolutely delicious. With all the other stress involved in a wedding, Franchesco's helped make the catering & bar stressless on us.

Franchescos is the PERFECT venue for your elegant, modern wedding. This is a family owned business and every detail is important to them. Kim and her entire family went above and beyond for our wedding! From the moment our guests walked through the door they felt like royalty. Every detail from the place cards to the table settings were perfect. The food was excellent. We chose the cocktail hour package with butler passed hordouvres, that all of our guests are still talking about! Dinner was excellent as well! We had a selection of the chicken dish, sea bass, eggplant parmesan and NY Strip. Kim was so attentive to all of our needs throughout the ceremony. She even made sure my dad sat down to eat for dinner! It was truly an incredible, worry free day for me and Franchescos was a huge part of that!

Franchesco's catered our wedding dinner and also was in charge of the bar and serving guests drinks. They did a fabulous job! We had a very large crowd that enjoyed the bar area so at times it was a challenge keeping up. However, Michelle and her staff at Franchesco's did a great job keeping everyone happy and serving over 250 plated hot dinners is just over the top impressive!! Franchesco's was very professional and went above and beyond to make our day special and it was definitely noticeable!

Kim was great to work with on planning and getting our wedding ready to go. The facility setup was perfect for the size of our wedding and the decorations were amazing. The food was absolutely fabulous and all of our guests loved it.

Franchescos Ristorante went WAY above & beyond for our wedding!! From planning with Kim (who was absolutely awesome!), the cake, the lighting, the food, and the overall service left me practically speechless!!! The food was not your typical "wedding food" it was to die for! The cake of course, amazing!! And just the service and how they cater to everyone was perfect!! I would recommend this venue to EVERYONE! The building and room itself is simply beautiful and speaks for itself!! Definitely a 10/10!! Hands down!! No regrets, and everything was perfect!!

My reception was at Franchesco's in Frank's Room on Sept 14. The entire experience with Michelle LaMay and staff was, hands-down, a top-quality experience. They do business like every business should. It's a few weeks after my wedding and I am still hearing from guests how fabulous the room looked, how good the food was and how attentive the staff were. Initial Conversations: From the start, I was pleased with Michelle's prompt & thorough responses. It was so evident that she takes her role in the coordinating of special events seriously. When my husband and I met with her, she greeted us with like we were the only customers in the busy restaurant. She was very professional, but we felt like we were being taken care like family. Other venues we visited or spoke with made us feel more like any random couple walking through their door. On the contrary, we had so much fun meeting with Michelle. and felt like we would be taken care of going forward. My husband and I emailed and called Michelle so many times after booking. She always responded immediately with detail and enthusiasm. The Room: We've gotten rave reviews on how the room looked and was set up from so many guests. My vision was to have something like you see in the old Hollywood club photos. My florist knew the room and said not much more was needed as it is already such a great space. Huge bonus. When my husband stopped by Franchesco's to drop off our slideshow, he was asked if he wanted the lighting in the room switched to emphasize the peacock my florist displayed. That really shows their attention to detail. On our big night, Michelle checked up on us regularly. The owners even stopped in a few times. They truly make you feel taken care of. Our buffet consistently had fresh food that my guests enjoyed. After my wedding, the first email I received was from Michelle with a sweet message. I was touched. I'm more than happy to answer questions brides have about this venue and am happy to show my photos.

This vendor provided an excellent reception/party planning service, and they were very accomodating to my requests and questions in terms of the food, beverages, and set up of the banquet room (Sinatra Room) considering what this event was designed for. The quality and quantity of the food was outstanding as was the service and friendliness of the staff attending to our event from the early stages of planning to the time we walked out of the venue following our event. Also, an added benefit was the ability to have our cake made through Kim's Specialty Cakes and the cake was delicious and very well done. This vendor was an excellent value considering all categories listed, and I would highly recommend this venue for brides considering this venue for a reception.

Wedding reception was wonderful and Franchesco's was perfect. Food was amazing and the atmosphere was perfect. Loved it there and would recommend it to everyone.

Franchesco's was the location of our Reception and they did an amazing job. The food was delicious and we received lots of compliments about how good everyone's meal was. They also accommodated for our gluten, lactose and dairy free meals with ease! All of my special food meals were served correctly and promptly. I am very impressed with Franchesco's professionalism and am so thankful they made my reception such a relaxing worry free night! :)

My husband and I loved our reception at franchescos. Kim was great! It was like having a personal wedding planner. They also arranged for the chair coverings, center pieces, dance floor lighting, and Kim made the cake. Many of our guests told us it was the best food they have had at a wedding. We wouldn't change a thing. Thanks Francesco's!

I love Kim she was so kind the whole time. Our cake turned out wonderful. She worked with us to make sure our caked turned out exactly how we wanted it to. Only thing would take back is her telling my husband to demolish the cake in my face lol.

We had our wedding reception on a Friday evening at Franchesco's Ristorante and could not have been happier with how everything turned out. The wedding coordinator, Kim, was extremely helpful and experienced. We wanted a romantic evening celebration and she attended to every detail perfectly. It was absolutely gorgeous. She also did our wedding cake which was a absolutely delicious.

We were wined and dined before the wedding with a tasting and the food that we chose was devoured by all our guests with incredible wine, an amazing soup and perfectly cooked filet mignon. The service was wonderful and we are frequent patrons of the restaurant. It is our favorite restaurant in Rockford.

Everyone at Francesco's went above and beyond to make my day perfect. Even when there was a problem with the florist they did everything they could to help. The reception was extremely well staffed no one had to wait for anything, everyone loved our food the cake was amazing. Would do it all again.

We loved having our reception at Franchesco's! Our package included everything we were looking for in a venue. We were amazed at how Kim pulled everything together on the day of our wedding. The food was incredible and the service was unbeatable. We look forward to returning to Franchesco's for many more celebrations in the years to come!
