Jia was amazing from beginning to end! We spoke on the phone to get to know each other and based off his portfolio, reviews, expertise, and value for his work, we knew we found a winner.
We familiarized ourselves with Jia during our engagement shoot and it came out amazing! From the results of our engagement, we couldn't wait to see what he'd capture on our wedding day! Jia was very knowledgeable and had a good idea of timing and angles to get the best shot possible. He is very flexible and considerate.
On our wedding day, Jia went above and beyond to capture the best shots and even added to the fun atmosphere! He truly in a gem and the moments he captures are to be treasured! We are being grateful to have been able to work with Jia and strongly encourage those who want quality moments captured to work with Jia! -

Welcoming Jia into our wedding journey was nothing short of a delight, and we find ourselves struggling to adequately convey just how extraordinary he made our entire experience. His bilingual mastery in Mandarin and English became a priceless gem, especially in bridging the communication gap with my husband's family, who are more comfortable in Mandarin. Jia's seamless direction and warm communication in Mandarin added an extra layer of joy to the entire photography process, making it an enjoyable affair for everyone involved.
Right from the start, Jia exceeded every expectation. His early arrival ensured he caught every fleeting moment flawlessly. The first look and family photos he captured were nothing short of dreamy, setting the magical tone for the entire day. Jia's keen eye for detail and artistic vision translated into snapshots that not only captured but genuinely embraced the essence of our special day.

Jia was an absolute pleasure to work with from the very beginning. He came highly recommended to us from a friend whose pictures turned out amazing. He was extremely friendly and fun to work with. He prepared us for how our photos were going to go, and was receptive to feedback we had about photo edits. The pictures turned out absolutely amazing, and it was emotional to relive the moments when seeing the photos for the first time. Absolutely fantastic and would highly recommend his services! Meet Jia, the missing piece to your perfect day
Have you ever clicked with someone that you forgot you haven’t known eachother for forever? Let me introduce you to our unicorn of a photographer, Jia. First of all Jia has a phenomenal gift. He has the ability to make you feel so at ease and keep you in the moment. Our wedding day was magical and we owe a big part of that to Jia. His creativity to capture our true selves shined through in all of our pictures. When trying to find a photographer I thought to myself I can get basic head on pictures any day, I want to find someone that creates something different, I wanted someone that would give us something special. Jia is that someone, he makes you feel incredible and comfortable. Did I mention that he is also a phenomenal dancer? Jia becomes part of your day effortlessly and has fun while doing it. From the way he plays with light to his vision for unique shots to his incredible talent with his drone, which he so kindly gifted and surprised us with on the day of! Working with Jia was a pleasure from start to finish. In the initial intro call, he was attentive and thorough, quickly understanding the vibe of what we were going for and making us feel at ease by having us practice some posing even over Zoom. The engagement shoot turned out great, and Jia's dedication was apparent as he arrived early to scout the place out. Our favorite part was how creative everything was - he was willing to try a lot of things to capture some unique moments. At the actual wedding, everything went smoothly and Jia was able to efficiently capture the wedding party photos before our ceremony, so that we could enjoy our cocktail hour and reception. The photos turned out great, and we couldn't have asked for a better value for such a professional service. -

Jia’s work is authentic, personalized, and truly beautiful!! All of our photos came out stunning! Jia is professional and on top of every single detail- both logistically through out the planning process and on the day of our wedding. My husband and I decided to hire Jia after we saw the engagement photos he took for our best friends Alexa and Matt more than two years ago, and we couldn't be happier with our choice! When we saw our engagement photos, we were blown away but it was nothing compared to the pictures we've already received from our October 2020 wedding. Jia was so helpful during our long engagement and most importantly flexible, understanding, and safe when our wedding details changed due to Covid-19. What makes Jia's photos so incredible is his keen eye and great timing. He's somehow always captures the beautiful candid moments like the laughs in in-between moments when you didn't know anyone was looking, the tear welling up when you can't contain your joy, and the wow of that one person who is killing it on the dance floor (except for when Jia is killing it on the dance floor getting the party going and still capturing everyone else). Stop searching and hire Frame Your Love! -

- Honestly there are not enough words to describe how amazing Jia is as a person and a photographer. We met Jia and my cousins wedding in 2018 and just talking to him and watching the way he works you can see how much he loves his job we had to book him right away. We had our engagement photos and wedding photos both done by Jia. Our engagement session was amazing and you really get to know Jia and he gets to know about you we literally went for a walk took pictures and many laughs at the end of it it was like saying goodbye to a long time friend and that’s what he wanted a photographer who is professional but also personable who makes you feel comfortable. Jia is defiantly not your average photographer he gets right on the dance floor with everyone and jumps and dances with you while taking amazing photos. I still have no idea how they come out so perfect but they do. If you are looking for a Great photographer you should pick Frame Your Love our special day wouldn’t be as amazing as it was with out him.

In love with our photos!!
Jia was amazing to work with from the very beginning. He was bubbly, easy-going, and accommodating, and took the time to really understand the kind of couple we are and how we wanted to capture our special day. On our wedding day, Jia was a blast! He treated the entire wedding party and our families as if we were all old friends and did a great job making sure we had fun while getting all the group shots we wanted. He was also really helpful and flexible during the pre-ceremony hours that felt like a total whirlwind. During the reception, he was out on the dance floor and got THE BEST shots of everyone dancing (he even busted out some moves of his own). Everyone loved him!
My husband and I were at a restaurant when I got Jia’s photos in my email. As soon as we started looking through them we laughed and cried so much we had to put my phone away because we were making a scene. Jia captured exactly what we knew he would: love, excitement, warmth, and most important to us - fun! His photos truly allowed us to relive and remember how amazing our wedding day was, and I am 100,000% in love with them all! Jia is a super talented photographer and a truly delightful person - I would recommend him to anyone and everyone! -

I've known I wanted Jia as my photographer even before we got engaged. He's grown into such a talented and creative photographer and we were grateful to have him capture our special day. He is easily our favorite of the vendors we hired. He is timely, professional, and easy to get in touch with. We hired him for our engagement shoot as well and the photos turned out great. Our photos were taken at a park by the Hudson River where there was also a skateboard park nearby. He approached one of the skateboarders and asked if he could do some tricks in the background while we were in the front. It was definitely an awesome and unique photo! Our wedding was at the Garrison, also overlooking the river and he took amazing photos of the scenery that the Hudson had to offer. We are not very photogenic people but he made us feel comfortable and carefree. Everyone loved him at our wedding and he was very friendly and accommodating because we had to take photos at each guest table. He blended in like one of our old friends and even threw in some sick dance moves! We recommend him to everyone who has gotten engaged or is getting married. Thank you Jia for capturing the memories we'll have forever, and we can't wait to Frame our Love on our walls =) -

Absolutely amazing!
My husband and I did not know what exactly we were looking for when it came to wedding photographers. All we knew is that we were looking for something unique. We stumbled upon Frame Your Love Photography on the Knot.com. We were both blown away with the photos. We met Jia in person at a coffee shop and we left knowing that he was the perfect photographer for us! Jia made our engagement shoot fun and easy. He gave us very helpful direction and his sense of humor helped my husband and I quickly loosen up. We were in awe when we saw the finished pictures. They were artistic and beautiful, but most importantly they really captured who we are.
On the day of the wedding Jia showed up and everyone in our bridal party loved him immediately. Jia’s personality was a joy to have around on the big day. We took amazing photos and even got an unbelievable shot where we are opening champagne that is everyone’s favorite! Jia captured the feeling of our wedding perfectly. He even started a limbo line that our guests loved and made for some hilarious pictures. My husband and I are so impressed with Jia as a photographer and as a true professional and felt that we really made the right choice with Frame your Love Photography. We booked Jia for our November wedding, and it was one of the best and easiest decisions we made in the wedding planning process. He answered all of my emails promptly, and was super accommodating, and worked within my budget. From the first time we met him for our engagement shoot we knew we were in good hands. Jia did a FANTASTIC job at our wedding. People always rave about the food and the music, but I had people coming up to me all night raving about my photographer. He was so much fun, and so easy to work with; and that was apparent to everyone. A few weeks after my wedding my grandfather wasn't doing well, and we knew we wouldn't have much time left with him. I reached out to Jia and asked for the photos with my grandparents so I could make sure my grandfather could have them before he passed. Jia immediately sent me the photos. If you're looking for someone who sincerely cares about his clients, book with Jia. Our photos speak for themselves. Thank you so much, Jia!

From the start Jia was easy to reach, helpful and so great to work with during the planning and contracting process. His work really does speak for itself on his portfolio and I was impressed from the beginning with the creativity he puts into getting a shot.
The day of the wedding he was instantly our friend and helped put us at ease. He did a fabulous job maneuvering between us and family during pre-wedding photos. I really wanted beautiful but energetic photos and he really knows how to get fabulous shots. He was on the dance floor/working the entire night and took so many amazing photos. Everyone from my family kept mentioning how nice and easy going he was, he wasn't pushy or in your way like other wedding photographers I have seen. We got a few teaser photos leading up to the whole album which was awesome to see and got us so excited for the final album. After seeing our photos we have so many great options we don't know where to start! We love all of the photos and the memories Jia captured so perfectly. Within minutes of meeting Jia at our engagement session, we felt like he was an old friend. Neither my husband or I really consider ourselves to be photogenic people but with Jia's direction and expertise, we both felt confident and at ease that we were in good hands. Once we received these engagement pictures, there was no doubt in our minds that Jia was the right choice. Knowing we wanted to use these pictures for our save-the-dates, Jia sent us so many amazing pictures within a week and a half, it was very difficult to chose a favorite! We really appreciated his quick-turnaround and making us a priority. He also included several drone shots which was a huge bonus to my husband, an aspiring drone photographer himself!
As we got closer to the actual wedding day, Jia was great with answering last-minute questions and confirming all details. The day of the wedding, he arrived with a huge smile on his face. His happy, positive, upbeat attitude helped settle my wedding-day nerves. He was incredibly patient getting each and every family shot requested. He even worked with our two dogs and got some incredible dog-family pictures we will treasure for many (dog) years to come!
Jia created a slideshow as a preview to our final wedding album for our 1 month anniversary. The tears wept watching this slideshow were a clear indication of how amazing the final pictures would be. Once we received the pictures, we were absolutely blown away by how amazing they were. Jia truly captured each and every emotion we experienced that day. We feel like we can both re-live that magical day simply by looking through Jia's photos.
We will never be able to fully thank Frame Your Love Photography for capturing these memories for us. Jia is truly talented, professional, and nothing short of brilliant! -

The final result was fantastic despite of having the coldest day in Jan’18. Looking at the 1000+ pictures was like living our special moment again. Martina Sent on 02/20/2018There are not enough stars for Jia! Our first experience with him goes back to May 2017, when he took our engagement pictures (included in our package). We got married at Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz and decided to do our engagement session there to use it as a rehearsal for our big day. The pictures were just STUNNING and everybody, and I mean EVERYBODY complimented us on them. After that, we knew we would end up with beautiful wedding pictures. We got married in October and it was 75 degrees on that day. I was in a long-sleeve dress and the sun was beating on us at 1:00pm... but Jia just wouldn't stop taking pictures! He kept finding new locations and, in the end, I was the one who had to beg him to take a break because it was way too hot ;) He is so passionate about his job that he would have kept going all day long. In fact, after the wedding was over, he even asked us if we wanted to take additional pictures with the sunset. We were very tempted, but it was way past the time we agreed upon and so we felt guilty and decided to refuse the offer. Besides being super-talented and passionate, Jia is also very reliable and always responded in a timely-manner. Cannot recommend him enough!
