I can go on for days about all the lovely people who were involved in not only planning but executing my wedding day. From day one, Desiree was the most informative, helpful, and not to mention extremely sweet person. She made sure at both meetings my husband and I had with her to go over every single detail and anytime I had a bride brain panic induced question she made me feel like no question was too silly to be asking and always reassured me! On my wedding day I had Gracie and Miranda and let me tell you they were an iconic duo in making sure my bridal suite party was constantly comfortable and informed of timing and any details we needed to be aware of but in the most calming grounded way and kept me sane the entire wild morning of my wedding. Gracie was so helpful during my first look and made me laugh when I didn’t want to cry and mess up my makeup. She was so incredibly sweet and made me feel so comfortable. Miranda was out of this world amazing as well! She was able to ensure me that my dads memorial chair in my ceremony area was exactly how I envisioned and even shared a very sweet and heartfelt detail she noticed that ended up turning into an extremely memorable moment for us honoring my late father. I genuinely couldn’t imagine a better trio to be with me on my big day. I am so grateful to the entire team of staff at four oaks including the servers who were so amazing, polite and I even ended the night giving high fives to some of them. They were truly rockstars!! I’ll end this review with this simple message: If you are lucky enough to get the trifecta of Desiree, Gracie, and Miranda like I did, I can assure you that your wedding day will be so smooth and stress free!!! -

My two sisters and I are getting married within 18 months of one another and we booked our triple bridal shower at Four Oaks Country Club. Our theme was ice creams - The Shutes Got Scooped - and Four Oaks delivered! The gelato cart was the perfect detail to bring everything together. We offered the Deluxe Chef Attended Pasta Station for our guests for lunch. The chef was wonderful and the food was TO DIE FOR - still getting comments on how fresh and delicious everything was. We also pre-ordered two sangria bowls and offered a cash bar. The space was large and spacious for our above-average guest list. The music and sound system were great as our maids of honor MC'd the day. Truly perfect! -

Let me just preface this review with saying this venue is beautiful and I can tell that the owner does care about her business. However, with that being said, there had been a laundry list of complaints for our wedding that was on 4/17/21. I don't feel the need to repeat this list as my husband already spoke to the owner, but I have a tip for engaged couples who are considering this for their venue.
If you are planning on booking this for your venue- let me just tell you right now that if you have the means, you need to book a wedding coordinator. The events coordinator does absolutely nothing to help. I understand it's a pandemic- but the lack of communication for months was very off-putting. If it wasn't for our amazing photographer, and friends, we would have been screwed.
I do want to mention this one piece because this was the part that upset me the most. The fact that the event coordinator didn't like my signage- and continued to move the sign so that guests went into the lobby rather than outside where the ceremony was, left me standing in this lobby. Therefore, a good portion of my guests saw me in my wedding dress BEFORE I even walked down the aisle. This really ruined my experience. And I'm still very much upset about it.
My husband tried to do the right thing by going to speak with the owner herself first, before just posting a review. What was discussed and the compensation we were told that we'd be given back doesn't match. I'm pretty salty about it- and I don't want to have another conversation about my experience, I just want to be given back the agreed amount that I feel we deserve.
