Simply the Best

Working with Fola was such a great experience. He was incredibly sweet, patient, and made us feel comfortable the entire time. Neither of us are used to being in front of the camera, but he guided us so naturally that it never felt forced.

You can tell he truly cares about his work. He was very hands-on, paid attention to every detail, and made sure we were getting the best possible shots. His energy was calm and supportive, which made a huge difference for us.

When we got our engagement photos back, we were honestly blown away. They are beautiful, emotional, and captured exactly how we felt in that moment. I’m so glad we chose him and would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer.

Fola is Magical 🥰

Words cannot begin to describe the joy these pictures bring us ! We didn’t get to have a big celebration and certainly did not capture any pictures until now ! Fola really is an amazing photographer and brought our vision to life ! From the second we got into the venue, it was magical. He has great instruction , he worked wonderfully with us and ultimately captured the MOST AMAZING pictures I’ve ever seen of us! NY Wedding

Fola conducted our engagement shoot and weddings with the utmost professionalism, care and kindness. When you’re planning a wedding, you’re hoping to have a photographer that understands your vision and someone who is communicative. Fola has all of those qualities.

From the beginning, he met with us, learned about our story and kept us updated throughout the entire process. For our engagement shoot, he shot the photos for us in 20 degree weather in December! We were all freezing but it wasn’t even apparent in our photos. The photos are truly outstanding - which is a true testament to his direction.

For our weddings, Fola helped us pose with confidence and made us feel special on our weekend. He helps couples find the best angles and places for beautiful shots. He has a great eye!

Our FAVORITE vendor during our wedding experience, he is truly gifted! The most important part of the wedding day is the love within the memories you will have forever. Fola did an amazing job with capturing the moments between my husband and I, our friends, and our family. As the day does go by quickly, he constantly made us feel more present. 10yr vow renewal.

Fotos by Fola showed us the value of having a good photographer. The quality of the pictures are magnificent. For someone that does such a great job, Fola is still very humble and pleasant. Very easy to work with. My friend recommended him for my vow renewal and my first response was No. She went ahead and sent an enquiry and I viewed his portfolio. I was blown away. When I met him for our prewedding shoot, he was so pleasant. After we saw the pictures from the prewedding shoot, my husband was like " He is doing the vow renewal right"? 🤣🤣. During the vow renewal, he worked so well with the entire team, taking pictures didn't feel tedious, my husband and I enjoyed every bit of it. The BEST Photographer I’ve encountered yet in Atlanta!

Fola was literally God-sent for my husband and I’s 12/7/24 wedding. Let me just start there.

My husband and I learned in early August, 4 months to the wedding that our former wedding planner stole $75,000+ from us, leaving us with NOTHING towards a wedding we were planning for 2 years. Not one vendor booked we originally thought was, including a photographer.

We met Fola through our new wedding planner and he graciously agreed to help us bring our photography vision to life, though we plainly could not afford his quality / value of service. He showed us grace in a really difficult time.

Was always very responsive, accommodating, and able to take full creative control—as I am a *very* particular bride who is also really camera shy and needed a photographer who could also direct my poses. My engagement photos by the previous photographer didn’t come out as amazing as I hoped for most shots, so I was a bit worried trying another photographer.

However, our day of wedding shots??? STUNNING. 10/10. Fola has a keen eye for his work, gave amazing direction, was so patient and humble. Took amazing shots and I—for the first time, really—enjoyed taking photos most* during our wedding day. I ended up loving all 900+ photos he shared with us, weeks ahead of schedule post-wedding. Just a great all-around experience! Thank you, Fola!!! Would absolutely recommend him to any bride!

A captured Dream

Fola and his team worked together to capture every single minute of my special day. He arrived a little before his scheduled time to make sure we didn’t use my booked time to set up. His help was experienced they wasn’t running all over the place they were very uniformed and in sync with each other. In my past life I was a model for all kinds of magazines and I am absolutely strict about a photographer that knows how to work a shoot. Fola was amazing he knew where to place my hands he knew the areas to capture photos he was amazing at acting the perfect angles. If you’re not booking with Fola you’re definitely missing out on a life time of memories to cherish for ever. This was yet one of my greatest investments.

Booking Fotos by Fola is like an experience within itself!

My husband and I got married in April 2024 in GA and after doing research we selected Fotos by Fola (Fola) as the photographer. This was the absolute best decision that we made. From the first day we met with Fola he ensured us that he would be dedicated to capturing our special day. His enthusiasm to capture our wedding, the personal questions he asked us to ensure that he understood our personalities, as well as his work that I viewed on his Instagram and his website had my husband and I sold.
We took advantage of the wedding package that Fola offers which also include the engagement photos. Our flights were delayed to head into Vegas for the engagement shoot and Fola was extremely professional while I was panicking. He ensured us that everything would be alright. He was in constant communication with us and was able to make the engagement shoot a success. While in over 100 degrees weather Fola was able to find the perfect atmosphere to compliment our attire, demonstrate and guide us to the perfect poses, while capturing the picture from variety of angles. I was truly amazed when I saw the final product.
When it came to the wedding day, I already expected Fola to bring it. However, he exceeded my expectations once again. It's almost like he floats around the room with a calm demeanor, snapping away, and guiding the wedding party so smoothly. During such a jammed pack day where it's so easy to get off schedule I really appreciated how Fola was extremely calm, quick on his feet and just ready to improvise. My wedding day pictures captures the love, the fun, the excitement and most important family. From the first day I met Fola he promised this to my husband and I and he delivered beyond our expectation. I relive my wedding day all over again when I look at the pictures that Fola provided to us.

If you are considering booking with Fola, do it now! I am a September 2023 Bride, engaged in August 2022, and Fola has been there every step of the way. 10/10 Recommend Fotos by Fola, you won't regret it!

The lead photographer, Fola, of Fotos by Fola is exceptional! When we interviewed him to photograph our wedding, his calm and personable demeanor was the first thing we noticed. While all of the photographers we researched had great work, we wanted more than that. We wanted someone we would feel comfortable being around, who would mesh well with our family/friends, and also work well with our other vendors. Having a great vibe was very important to us because it truly sets the tone for a great wedding experience. When we decided to work with Fola, he was very professional, prompt, and flexible to meet our desires. I had a very detailed shot list and he made me feel heard when I expressed how important particular photos were to me. He did his research on the venue and even offered additional shots that I didn't consider. He made everyone feel like we were working with a dear friend while we were getting ready. He took beautiful photos of the ceremony pictures but did not take away from the guest experience. When it was time for the reception, he got such great candid shots that I've made personalized photo books for many of family members so they could have professional photos of themselves. We had such a fun time and the wedding went beautifully. I know it was because of excellent vendors like Fola. Key word of advice: spend the money and choose a highly qualified expert in the field, but also make sure that person is someone you feel will be a responsible guardian of your memories. Fola returned our pictures to us in 2 weeks and they were incredible!!! He exceeded our expectations and we will use him to capture all of our major life events!

Picking your photographer can be a daunting task—it was one of the more difficult decisions for me to make because I wanted to ensure I had quality memories that we will have forever. Fola was quickly one of our prospects because I had seen his work and was very impressed. Only after hiring him did I know we had made a great choice because he was just so wonderful to work with. Fola was an absolute God-send on our 10 Year Vow Renewal/Desination Wedding in Panama City Beach, Florida! We live in San Diego and everything was planned from California! Phenomenal

Fola was everything my husband and I was expecting plus some. His experience with photography was first in class. He knew what and how to capture our engagement photos as well as our wedding from beginning to end. Since then, he has taken my maternity pictures as well as our first year holiday family pictures. BEST Photographer!

Fola is the epitome of professionalism, he is very responsive, and amazingly creative! He called us a few weeks before our wedding to get to know us and prep us for what to expect! The day of our wedding he was flexible and personable. He kept us loose and relaxed, gave clear direction to us and our wedding party on poses (but still somehow made us all look effortlessly natural - and trust me, we are not models haha), and also captured EVERY single intimate and important moment of our wedding day! He and his team are nothing but pure experience and talent - they did not miss a beat!!

Best Wedding Photographer EVER!!!!

Fola was HEAVEN SENT! He exceeded our expectations beginning with our first meeting! We changed our date two times due to COVID and he was a professional throughout it all. Not to mention from the Engagement Shoot where he strategically found locations that brought our vision to life. To the wedding ceremony where he magically captured EVERY SPECIAL MOMENT! I myself can be a perfectionist, so to see how intentional he was with every shot put us and our wedding party at ease and confident. (None of us like to take pics LOL!) Please use Fola

I had a Covid-19 wedding which included alot of unexpected things and changes I could not control as a bride. Thankfully Fola captured the important moments even in the mist of all the chaos. I looove my pictures and everytime I look at them I am so thankful we hired him and team (true professionals) that understood the best shots for us to reflect back to.

Fantastic Fola!

Fola is amazing! From our initial contact, he was very responsive. He answered my email so quickly, it seemed as if he was expecting my correspondence. The original date that I needed his services was unavailable, but Fola quickly provided a list of photographers that he recommended. He then followed up with me to see if I had secured a photographer. Who does that, right? This illustrates the type of character that Fola possesses. Thus, it was easy for me to give him five stars. On my wedding (minimony) day, Fola was timely and very efficient. He had lots of posing ideas for the photos and they came out beautifully. If you're considering Fola, you are making a great choice!

P.S. These are just a few highlights, I could continue but I would probably have to write for hours.

Fields Wedding

Fola was prompt and very attentive to the bride and bridal parties needs. He was an amazing person to work with. I enjoyed spending 8-12 hours of my day with him. He made me feel comfortable and all of the nerves I had slowly went away. And my pictures are GORGEOUS! I would highly recommend.

Amazing Anniversary Shoot!!!!!!!

First of all this was the most fun we have ever had during a photoshoot! Fola was so fun to work with and very professional. He help make this special moment in our life possible. Amazing Experience

I was going to write a novel's worth of rave reviews for this photographer; but I know no one wants to read 3 whole pages. So let me get to the point. If I could go back in time, I would of found him earlier to book him for my wedding. He is truly an artist who knows what he is doing, rather than a dude with a camera.
Fotos by Fola was worth every dime to say the least. He was punctual, polite, professional, [prepared for Covid (wore a mask the entire shoot) and most important he listened to my desires and made it happen. Fola is a capable of dealing with multiple people talking and laughing at the same time( you wouldn't believe the minor silly things your family members do while taking your pictures. Then hey are shocked that they look crazy in half of the photos). He got my family to focus and he posed us where we looked flattering(skinny and shapely) in literally every picture. He remembered that I was concerned about my location (heat), weight, lighting, make up, and all of us looking at the camera. He even made referrals for make up, dress makers, locations, etc.
Additionally, I also told him that facial expressions was an issue that we have had as a unit in the past (we don't look like we are at the same event because my dad is look up stepmom straight face, brother laughing talking his girl, husband looks annoyed, etc.).
This man told us what to do with our faces, how to pose, who is looking in the wrong direction, etc. He brought great lighting to address the variety of complexion issues, multiple cameras, set up before time, and was patient when we had to take a break because I was sweating so bad.

Finally, something brides need to think about is:
1. He offers a contract- during my wedding planning I met a lot of photographers who didn't offer a contract. A contract holds everyone accountable for pricing, times, and expectations. Don't be the Bride who doesn't have a timeline of when they will get your pictures back.
2. He is a wedding photographer- he understands the importance of time/agenda, make up/lighting, he understands crowds, how to shoot in a variety of venues, work with a variety of heights, weights, complexions, room shapes, etc.
3. He dresses appropriately- Trust, I've been to weddings where the photographer looks like hes going to house party with jeans, sneakers, and a blazer. Its distracting.
4. He's friendly and takes the time to communicate with you. I know I was extra and probably annoying. He was graceful with taking my calls and providing referrals.
5. Finally, for the younger bride he shares your sneak a peek pics on social media. It was kind of cool being reposted.

My last bit of advice is BOOK HIM EARLY. Even in the pandemic he was still highly sort after. The day you pick a date and venue, you better book him. He has a payment schedule so book him early or you will regret it.
This was such a good experience that I've already recommended him to several people. My brother is going to use him for their wedding and my stepmom's family now wants to use him for their family pictures. You should check his work out on IG for yourself. @fotosbyfola

Extraordinary - If I could do it all over again...

If I could do it all over, I'd hire Fola again. From our engagement photos to our wedding day, Fola made sure both days were memorable. He has an amazing eye and is so talented. I've never met anyone like him. Whatever your vision is, he'll make sure he brings it to life. We wanted a skyline and night time pictures...that's what he gave us. Amazing photographer

Fotosbyfola is am amazing photographer and he knows how to direct when taking pictures. We had our wedding on September 28 and the pictures that I received so far are exceptional. Our engagement photos were great as well so I knew that the wedding pictures were not going to be anything less than perfection. You will not regret having him as your photographer in any special occasion. His demeanor is very calm and that’s great because most brides are not as calm on their wedding day i.e myself :) but he helped to calm my nerves. Best of the Best

I first met Fola when he shot my friend’s wedding in Atlanta. I was so impressed with his professionalism and ability to keep all of us bridesmaids on task, that I knew I wanted to hire him for my wedding. Two years later I called Fola to ask if he’d shoot our wedding in Miami. I had a vision of what I wanted some photos to look like, and he executed them perfectly. Fola’s communication, personality, timeliness, and quality of work made all the difference. His assistant Jerome was a joy to work with as well. We had a blast and most importantly, our photos came out absolutely gorgeous! If we had to to it all over again, we wouldn’t change a thing.

Fola's work is AMAZING! Book him today!

I'd been a huge fan of Fola's work for YEARS (we actually first became interested in our wedding venue because of pictures he'd shot at a previous wedding there), so he was one of the first vendors we booked. It was the BEST decision! Fola is professional, personable, and incredibly responsive. I don't think I ever waited more than 12 hours for a response from him when I emailed a question.

My husband and I are both pretty awkward when taking posed pictures, but Fola made us feel so at ease during our engagement shoot. He knew just how to pose us and how to help us look less awkward on camera.

The day of our wedding, we had a delay to the start of the ceremony. Fola took it all in stride, finding ways to get pictures during the wait time and adjusting so that we have all of the photos we needed after the ceremony.

We have gotten SO many compliments on our engagement and wedding photos! Everyone comments on the color, composition, and emotions that Fola was able to capture. If I was doing it all over again, I'd still choose Fola to be our photographer. He is worth EVERY PENNY.

Fola was absolutely AMAZING from the beginning to the ending. I am HUGE on professionalism as well as responsiveness. I remember emailing him inquiring about doing our wedding. Words Can’t Describe!!!

Wow! just Wow!...

I am still in awe of the amazing pictures that Fola captured of my husband and I during our wedding, as well as the engagement shoot. I cant get over how beautiful he made us both look and the pictures he captured when we weren't even looking. Not to mention the posed pictures that he instructed us on so that we looked like we came straight off a modeling shoot. Moreover, Fola is extremely personable. We could have not picked a better photographer to capture our engagement shoot and wedding day! From start to finish, Fola was a dream to work with. Fola is a top-notch, 5-star quality photographer! He was one of my favorite vendors to work with throughout this journey the past year planning our wedding. Fola is not the cheapest option and that's for a great reason. You get what you pay for and our photographs was an area we didn't want to go cheap on. Why spend thousands on a beautiful wedding and not have equally good photos to capture the memory? We used Fola for our engagement session back in September 2017 which he knocked out the park! We had three different looks at two locations. He made us feel comfortable as we slowly warmed up to "modeling". He allowed us to inject our ideas for different settings/poses while guiding us on little adjustments to make it perfect! The photos were so dope, we were selected for a three-page spread in Munaluchi Bride Magazine and a feature in Modern Luxury as well. Talk about memories to share with your kids! We had several calls with him to keep us updated and reassure us that he had a plan for how our wedding day would be captured. The day of the wedding, he had grace under fire. In the midst of the organized chaos of the day, he was able to get so many beautiful photos of us and our guests. I cried after viewing the sneak peak photos that captured every emotion on our special day. I can't wait to see the final photo package in a few weeks! I HIGHLY recommend Fola to anyone looking for quality, artistically-inspired photographs.

Afolabi was amazing! He had a wonderful personality and was very pleasant to talk to. He was also patient with us on our special day. We got a little behind on time and he was very understanding! FOLA was hands down one of our BEST and absolute favorite vendors of our entire wedding experience! He shot both our engagement and wedding photos, and both were stunning! We knew from our first meeting he was the guy for us, making us feel so comfortable in conversation and definitely in front of the camera. When we got our images back, we relived the emotion of the day through his images, bringing every single photo to life. All images were clean, edited, and vibrant! Afolabi aka "Fotos by Fola" is the best photographer I have ever met and choosing him for my wedding was the best decision ever! He is very professional and also fun to work with. He uses his creativity to bring out the best photos and also using information that he learned about my husband and I to allow our pictures to show a story of our relationship. Working with Steve was awesome! Few years back, I was part of a friend's wedding and was extremely impressed with the memories captured by Steve, so I decided to use him for mine. A year or so before my wedding, before I was even engaged, I was humoring myself by looking around for photographers. I searched and searched and came across Fola. I saw his pictures and were in awe of his creativity and all of the black love “magic” that showed across his website. I was in love but knew for sure that whatever price he was asking, I would not be able to afford. Fast forward a year after that, my then fiancé was also looking for photographers for our engagement and came across Fola. I remembered that I had seen him on my initial search and decided to reach out, knowing I probably wasn’t going to follow through. I got on the phone with him, and honestly something just clicked. I could feel his genuineness through the phone and we had talked as if we had known each other for years. No seriously, he has this ease about him that is warm and uncanny. He is truly one of a kind. I always felt a little off talking with vendors, but he was completely different. Such a breath of fresh air. He asked my price range and I told him. He sent me the packages and I was back and forth on whether I should take the plunge. I did and it was SOOOOO WORTH IT. His prices are NOTHING compared to the quality you receive with him and his work. For our engagement photos we traveled about 2 hours away to my grandfather’s house and he took shots in between rain showers. We also took photos at the Peachtree airport, with the sun BLAZING and he was absolutely fantastic. The day of the wedding was breathtaking and he literally took every single moment and captured it, in its essence, in photography. Everyone has marveled at the superiority of the photos. He worked with our budget, worked with our schedule, and stole our hearts. I already mentally have him booked for my maternity shoot and for our first family photo!!!!! . Your genuine and warm demeanor mixed with your professional elegance will forever be remembered for years to come. You are building a legacy my friend.

Fola has an incredible eye! He shot both our engagement and wedding photos. They were amazing. We have gotten a lot of compliments. Fola captures moments in a manner that is unparalleled. His images are crisp, vibrant and truly memorable. They tell a story. Working with Fola is great as well. He is relatable, passionate about his craft and very responsive. I was blown away when he took the time to call me before my wedding to send encouragement and go over a few of the soft details. I was also impressed with his work ethic. Where do I start with Fola? I was in a wedding in April 2015. When I saw the finished product from that day, I just knew that Fola was the only one I would let capture my wedding day. So, when my husband proposed to me, Fola was one of the first people I called (after my family, of course!). The amount of professionalism that he demonstrated that day reassured me that we could continue. He photographed our Igbo traditional wedding on a Saturday. Yet again, I was impressed by his professionalism. He was punctual, personable, took advantage of every opportunity, and personally took time to help me calm down when I was letting the minutiae of the day let me forget what was actually important. Fola then joined my husband and I two days later for a 12-hr roadtrip across Georgia and into South Carolina to shoot our engagement photos. When those pictures were finished weeks later, I was happier than I'm able to convey with words. The sheer quality of his work is unmatched- and what's important is that the quality didn't wane as the day progressed. Our evening shots in SC were just as magical and breathtaking as the morning shots in GA.

Fast forward 3 months later to our formal American wedding in Nashville. If there is one day when I can truly say that Fola was God-sent, it was this day. Anyone who has ever planned a wedding knows that so many unexpected things are bound to happen on this day. Fola remained trustworthy, so dependable, so capable, and so consistent. He outshined all of our vendors by far, and his dedication to making sure that he produced quality work for my husband and I was so apparent.

Each couple develops their own plan for what they can budget for each vendor, I understand. Remember though that all that's left at the end are the memories. By far, the most important choice we made was selecting the person we would trust to capture those moments. His photos and our memories are all we have now, and for that we're so content and forever grateful.

Book him immediately! He's very busy for a very good reason. Steve has photographed my friends' weddings as well as my traditional Nigerian wedding and my church wedding. For my church wedding, we had to fly him to us, and I would do it all over again. The pictures were exceptional! They were so good, they were picked up by major wedding blogs and websites, including but definitely not limited to; Bella Naija, Washingtonian Magazine, Essence Magazine, Huffington Post, and many more. He's very professional, knowledgeable, kind, and a complete joy to work with. He is not a budget photographer, but his prices are more than fair and services worth every penny. Again, book him immediately. You won't regret it.

Fola actually shot my cousin's wedding a couple years ago, and since then, I knew he would be my wedding photographer! For our engagement shoot, he went above and beyond to secure the perfect location for us to bring our vision to life. That said a lot about his character and the type of professional he is. Everything about his work screams quality. His responsiveness is top notch. I don't think I ever waiting more than 24 hours before receiving a response from him. He usually responded to emails within a few hours, which is something any bride to be would appreciate. He was very professional at all times and he was simply a joy to work with. When we got a little off schedule on our wedding day, he was very flexible and patient and made sure we were still able to get beautiful shots. When we received our wedding photos, we were blown away by the different angles he was able to get. Our pictures truly tell the story of our wedding day. Fotos by Fola (Steve) is a miracle. He is kind, patient, creative, diligent, and brilliant. Our wedding and engagement photos were hailed by everyone as fantastic and I was blown away looking through the images by how he managed to capture moments perfectly. From the time we sat down months in advance of my wedding, he wanted to understand our vision for the day. It was not very hard to chose a photographer for our wedding. I had previously seen Fola's work over the years and always was fascinated and impressed. When it was time to choose our photographer, my wedding planner also suggested Fola and raved about his attention to details and professionalism. Needless to say, he absolutely did not disappoint. Folabi has an artistic eye and sees opportunities for great photos in the simplest environments. You can tell he pays attention to details. His pictures of our wedding turned out beautiful.

We had 2 ceremonies and Folabi was patient and worked through delays, missing bridal party members and even snow! He is prompt with photo delivery and I would definitely use his services again. 10 year wedding anniversary here we come!

Fotos by Fola is beyond extraordinary. He was was involved with the entire wedding process, from the surprise proposal, the engagement sessions, traditional marriage, the church ceremony, and reception. He has a way of making you so comfortable that you forget he is there. That is the beauty of his pictures: They are so natural! He also had great suggestions! We told him about our love for the Falcons and what did he do? He helped us schedule an engagement shoot at the Atlanta dome! Our wedding and memories would have dulled in comparison with out his involvement. But the thing that I appreciated the most was his advise throughout the whole process. During a "bridezilla" melt down before the reception, he reminded me of what was important (or i should say who was important lol), which was my husband and our marriage. He truly has a gift that is one of a kind!

Fotos by Folo was the PERFECT photograper for our Courthouse wedding. He captured the raw emotions of love, connection and commitment between the two of us!!!

What more can I say about Steve? He was such a pleasure to work with. Steve took our engagements pics after a friend (make-up artist Crystal D) recommended him. From the moment I saw his pictures I know that I need not look any further. Our engagement pictures were stunning, we included our daughter and he made us feel so relaxed. Our wedding date was over a year and a half away and whenever I had a question Steve was always available until the very day.

On our wedding day, Steve came to my hotel and sent his assistant to my husbands hotel. They both caught great moments and my husband and I were able to sit back and talk about. We did first looks, the hotel would allow us to use their rooftop so we had to do it in front of my hotel and Steve made it look soooooo beautiful. I didn't even care that we didn't use the rooftop. The wedding pictures were crisp and sharp. His eye for detail is amazing. We received our wedding disc in the time he promised.
Book him! you wont regret it!

Your wedding day is one of the most important day in your life. Everything has to be according to your preferences and specification. It was important to me that all the vendors that I use on the day of my wedding were people who are DOWN TO EARTH and are going to have my back on the day of my wedding because we all know we can plan and we can organize. I wanted a photographer that was truly going to listen to my ideas, but at the same time use their expertise to guide the photo shoots and pics. What I appreciated the most was the fact that he truly wanted to get to know my husband and I as a couple before the wedding day. He flew to Houston for our E-session just for us to get comfortable with a camera following us around. He was extremely flexible on the day of the wedding, and he was respectful of other vendors. I love love LOVE my final pictures! They are way better than I anticipated. I recommend Steve to anyone who wants quality service.
