AMAZING experience!

We can not say enough great things about Foster’s Flowers Shop! Working with Marcy to bring the wedding florals of my dreams to life was an absolute highlight for me! She was lovely to work with from start till end and provided the most exquisite flowers. She took the time out to listen to what I was envisioning, asked thoughtful questions and was flexible enough to work with our other vendors to assure that everything came together on the big day. I entrusted her completely and she lived up to all my expectations and then some! Marcy truly does make it her number one priority to bring her clients vision to life and goes above and beyond to nail every detail. Thank you so much Marcy, your flowers will be something I will remember as a key part of our wedding day!

Showstopping flowers!

Marcy and Foster’s Flower Shop really went above and beyond for our wedding. When our planner came up with the design concept for our wedding, she included trees running down the aisle and around the dance floor, which we fell in love with. However, with many event businesses that either closed or pivoted thier focus during Covid, we were having trouble finding a vendor that could provide the trees. Our wedding was also in the 12th floor ballrooms of the Belvedere in Baltimore, which meant everything we were bringing in had to fit in tiny, early 20th century elevators. While looking for a tree vendor, we were interviewing florists. Marcy and the other talented florists we interviewed were all recommended by our planner, but Marcy set herself apart when we mentioned that we were looking for trees, and without missing a beat she said that she could build trees for us. And not only did that solve the elevator problem, but by building the trees she was able to control the look and create the enchanted forest of our wedding dreams. The design also included a tree for our guests to pick thier place cards from, which she also executed to perfection. Not only was everyone wowed by the trees, but the bouquets she did were stunning as well, and we heard so many compliments from our guests about the beautiful centerpieces she created. On top of all that, her prices were extremely reasonable for the amount of flowers and installation work required. We were so happy to have Marcy on our wedding team and you will be too!

Floral Perfection

Marcy delivered perfection on our wedding day! As an indecisive bride who struggled to articulate my vision, Marcy was able to still pick up on exactly what I wanted and executed so beautifully.

Additionally, about a month before the wedding we had a phone call to go over final details and we did end up changing quite a few things from the original proposal (the product of an indecisive bride). Despite, the fairly last minute changes, Marcy ran with it without hesitation and with enthusiasm. I also appreciated that Marcy was not afraid to provide her honest opinions when she felt like something wouldn’t work and offered helpful alternatives and suggestions. I feel as though this honesty is why everything turned out as gorgeous as it did.

When I saw our bouquets and the flower arrangements for the ceremony and reception on the day of the wedding, I literally gasped because she did such an amazing job. We had so many people tell us how stunning the florals were.

Beautiful flowers

Marcy was wonderful. I came into our wedding planning knowing exactly what I wanted and how I wanted things to look. Marcy was able to make my vision come true and more. She was available for any questions when I needed her too. Almost everyone at the wedding commented on how beautiful the flowers were!

The most stunning floral arrangements!!

Marcy and her team are not only amazing to work with, but created the most gorgeous bouquets, center pieces, hair pieces, and chupah for our wedding!! She was very open to our ideas and her creativity and expertise helped make them into reality. The flowers really helped transform our venue into our dream fairytale wedding and she even helped us get mini gourds to use as our center pieces! We can't say enough about Foster's Flowers-- you'd be crazy not to hire them if you're getting married in the York/Lancaster area!!

Breathtaking

My daughter found Marcy for her wedding that she was planning long distance from Colorado. She trusted Marcy and I to create some gorgeous personal florals and centerpieces based on a few particulars, some strong design details and lots of trust, which I pretty much handed to Marcy to give her room to create! My daughter loves lots of styles and has her own eclectic, yet very creative vibe. Marcy really found a way to make so many different tropicals, dried, and even traditional florals and greens work together somehow. We were all so blown away by them and only wish we could have preserved them forever! I guess photos and memories will have to do! And it goes without saying we truly appreciated the extra mile....yes, we noticed all the extra attention to detail and how long you stayed! And thank you immensely! It's nice to have a new creative friend and I hope we get the chance to work together again soon! PS I am bring two frogs down soon! xoxo

Marcy is a rock star!

Marcy is so amazing! I am not a "flower" person- so I was reluctant when we walked in for our initial appointment to discuss options. She understood and helped us pick just the right amount of floral and greenery for our budget. The bouquets were perfect and she remembered that I had mentioned about using myrtle in my bouquet even months after the meeting!

Marcy was amazing to work with. She really understands when you say you have a budget. She was open and honest with me- letting me know some things were not even necessary. I wanted to keep everything simple and she did just that. Marcy is seriously the sweetest!

I originally chose Foster’s Flowers after I did some research online and saw all the beautiful arrangements that they had previously done for other weddings. Getting married in May, I knew that I wanted to have lots of florals, but I was also a bride on a budget, so I wanted to make sure we stayed within my preset range. Marcy from Foster’s Flowers was amazing throughout the entire process. Since our venue was 2 hours away from where we live, I was able to do the initial consultation and all other communication over the phone and via email. She was flexible, responsive, and very knowledgeable about the actual flowers, different arrangements, the venue, and everything else. She really took the time to go through the details with me, to make sure I was understanding exactly what flowers I was going to get, how they would look, and offered recommendations based on her previous experience and expertise. All of the flowers looked beautiful and were within my budget! I would highly, HIGHLY recommend Foster’s Flowers for their great customer service, quality, and attention to detail.

Our entire experience with Foster's was fantastic. It's like they could read our minds and provide us with flowers that we were envisioning. Foster's flowers blew me away with our wedding flowers. Marcy was so friendly and it was one of the easiest appointments we experienced with our wedding. She is SO knowledgeable and she just took all the thoughts we had and put them in the most amazing arrangements. They also did an amazing job with our centerpieces and table runners. I would 100% recommend Fosters to anyone. I will never go to another flower place again.

GORGEOUS! So happy we chose Foster's Flower Shop for our wedding day! Marcy and the staff were extremely helpful and created beautiful pieces that tied our wedding day all together! Marcy created exactly what I was envisioning and had great recommendations throughout the wedding planning process. I cannot put into words how great is was to work with Fosters Flower Shop! When they showed up to my venue with all the flowers... I was speechless! Marcy was amazing to work with. Our first meeting we went over tons of details and colors. She took my colors and made it her own by putting in the feel of the wedding theme. I went with a romantic/ vintage vibe. The flowers turned out even better than I imagined. I know when i was searching for flowers that prices were a bit steep, but hers was reasonable and well worth the cost, I got so much more than I thought I would.

What beautiful flower creations we had from Marcy! We were guided to her through Marcy Royce from Royce Images Photography and could not be happier with the results we had! Marcy was easy to work with during the creation of the bouquets, centerpieces, decorations, and boutonnieres. She has a wonderful, artistic eye that was worth every penny! We were not sure what we wanted other than fall colors and she came through. The centerpieces were unique, but simple. We had so many compliments on the flowers! We had Marcy create bouquets for the memorial table and the gift table on top of everything else. It was amazing to stand under the archway we had for the ceremony and smell all of the beautiful flowers. We would highly recommend Marcy to anyone who wants to add beauty to their special occasions!

Our wedding flowers were absolutely stunning, and we could not have been happier with Fosters. We felt so comfortable with Marcy that we left pretty much all of the planning and designing up to her, and I'm so glad we did! The flowers were so gorgeous and unique, and we literally didn't have to lift a finger or have a single headache. I highly recommend Fosters and would use them again in a heartbeat.

The flowers for my wedding came out EXACTLY as I had envisioned! Marcy is so talented at what she does. Upon our first meeting, I told her our flower budget and she stuck exactly to our budget. She found flowers that worked within our budget. Throughout the planning process we made adjustments to our flower proposal and Marcy and her team were very flexible and willing to accommodate our changes. They did a fantastic job assembling all of our beautiful floral back drops. Throughout the wedding, we received multiple compliments on how beautiful the floral arrangements were! I would recommend them to anyone!

Marcy - the owner of Fosters is amazing. She met with us and discussed our flower options before we signed a contract with her. She did not make us feel pressured to use her that night or following the night of our consultation. We ended up signing the contract and using Fosters Flowers. Marcy always responded to my emails and helped bring my vision to life. She is really professional and a sweet person. I would definitely recommend Fosters.

It's hard to talk to a florist about what you want your flowers to be at your wedding when you don't know the right lingo. I am so, so lucky then that I found Marcy because when I said things like earthy, texture, wild, and different she totally got what I wanted! From our initial conversation to seeing what she created for the actual day, I knew that she not only understood my vision but would completely deliver on the floral front. Truth is, she blew me and everyone else away!!! I kept hearing that everything looked magical and that is in large part due to Marcy's incredible work!

Marcy is an incredible person and knows her stuff. I immediately felt comfortable during our first consultation. I am a graphic designer and all artist have a certain way of describing things. She got it and got me! I told her my budget and the flowers I was looking to have and Marcy worked really hard to provide what I wanted within my price. And if the flowers were out my range she had great back up flowers that would give the same impression and feel I was looking for. Well...the day of my wedding she surprised me and I had peonies in some of my arrangements! These flowers are pretty much out of season in September and were a bit more expensive then other flowers used for my arrangement. When I saw them here and there in my centerpieces it just made my perfect day reach the heavens! She was very reasonable, for I am not a flower person, she worked with my vision and made it work with my budget. For that I am grateful. My venue referred her shop and I am so happy that they did! Marcy is truly a down to earth and not snobby like some other florist vendors I've consulted with in the area. Definitely check her out! Her shop is uber cute too!

Marcy is amazing! As soon as I met her I knew she would do an awesome job making our wedding come to life with flowers and greens. We are so happy we chose her as our florist! Marcy was very easy to work with and really helped our vision for wedding flowers to come alive. She is incredibly passionate about what she does and it shows in her work. I changed my mind several times early on in the process about what I wanted and Marcy was incredibly accommodating. We were blown away by the final result and could not have envisioned more beautiful flowers.

My flowers were stunning! Marcy & Sarah did an incredible job putting together my make shift idea and creating a gorgeous bouquet for me! I absolutely loved loved loved my flowers for my wedding day! Marcy and her crew did a fabulous job taking what I had told them what I wanted and putting together something so great! From the beginning, Marcy was great with listening my requests on what I wanted .She was very flexible - I changed my proposal about 10 times! I went into the flower shop a couple of days before the wedding to check out the flowers. Marcy was on vacation, but there was another lady working (forgive me I don't remember her name) but she was so nice and showed my flowers and the bridesmaids bouquets. They looked good, but the design of the bouqets wasn't exactly like I envisioned. However the more I talked with the lady about what I wanted , she stopped what she was doing and started to play around with my flowers until they were exactly how I wanted. She did a great job in listening to my requests and she was so nice! The day of the wedding, I was so so happy about my flowers - they looked great! I can't wait to see them in our wedding pictures! Thank You so much!

Marcy saved my wedding! It poured on my outside dream wedding. Poured! I was so upset about having to move the ceremony inside but when I went to see what Marcy did, she transformed my inside venue into my new dream wedding. She even went back to her shop to grab extra things to make it the most elegant wedding, better than I could have hoped for. Later that night, I learned that she had come back even to move flowers to the reception and make sure my night was still gorgeous.
When we first met, I told her the look I was going for, she got me, and she delivered. The bouquets were again, better than I could have hoped for. I gave her complete freedom because I trusted her and had heard such great reviews about her work. Every time I told another vendor I was using Foster's, I got an immediate "Marcy is so amazing" and she was!
I would recommend her 10x over. I'm honestly so lucky to have had her for my wedding!

Marcy knocked it out of the park! My flowers were absolutely stunning and exactly what I had pictured, and more! I had no idea what sort of flowers were needed to put together the look I was going for, but Marcy did and when I first saw the bouquets all lined up inside the bridal cottage, I couldn't help but tear up! Marcy is super talented, and so helpful and accommodating. So great to work with, and worth every penny! Marcy helped me make the most of out my flowers by suggesting ways to reuse certain bouquets throughout the different events of the day, which I really appreciated! The flowers matched my color scheme (mint and coral) perfectly, and added the touch of whimsy and romance I was looking for. I am beyond happy with her work and wouldn't hesitate to book her again!

My daughters 5/2/15 wedding was a floral dream come true! Marcy, THE MOST talented woman I have ever met, created such gorgeous floral arrangements to make my daughters ceremony and reception look absolutely stunning. She went way over the top to make her vision come alive. I went to her shop two days before the wedding and she was truely excited to show me the flowers she was using for the wedding. She had surprise flowers for the day of the wedding that she couldn't wait to show me. Marcy LOVES her "job"! She created a floral fairytale land with her designs at the ceremony and reception. Marcy was an absolute dream!! She put together the most beautiful bouquets and arrangements I've ever seen. It was honestly better than I could ever have imagined. And she was easy to work with from the beginning. We live in DC but were getting married in Lancaster, so she worked with us and met us when we could on a Sunday, during a huge snow storm, just so we didn't have to drive up again. She was fully prepared and had already figured out an idea for what she thought would look the best. We didn't have too much of an idea, other than wedding colors and favorite flowers (lilies), so we basically gave her the flexibility and freedom to do what she does best, and she truly did! Also, she had flowers set up and I never had to once question or worry about her on our wedding day, which, once you have that day, you'll realize how much of a godsend that is! I would recommend Marcy 100 times over!

Fosters Flower Shop, specifically the owner Marcy, were AMAZING. She was excited about my concept and really worked with me to create the look I wanted. I made a lot of props and centerpieces by hand and she incorporated all of them and I was so amazed when I saw everything put together. Marcy is fun and creative and I can't thank her enough!

Wow! Marcy has a talent that cannot be replicated by any florist in the Central PA area. Marcy did the flowers for our 8/17/13 wedding at Liberty Forge in Mechanicsburg, PA. From our first consultation, Marcy took the vision we had for our wedding day, and far exceeded our expectations. Each arrangement showed the care and attention to detail Marcy puts into her work. My bouquet was breathtaking. Marcy’s flowers were vibrant, fresh, and the perfect touch that really brought our reception to life. Marcy was awesome. I can't say enough how pleased I was with both her flowers and her service. Here are the reasons:
1) The ceremony flowers were gorgeous. I had pink peonies, big pink roses, queen anne's lace and italian ruscus and they were so breathtaking over the arbor. Guests said they could smell the peonies in their seats!
2) At the reception I told family that they could take the centerpieces home and there was a mad dash for them. Literally.
3) I had asked her to make very ornate corsages for my mom and MIL and an ornate boutonniere for my husband and she delivered.
4) She offered to wait to put the ceremony flowers up because it was 90 degree weather outside. I think she stayed for two hours.
5) She put the flower in my hair. That was a nice moment.
6) I'm from Seattle and she happened to be in the area visiting and suggested we meet. So convenient. Planning a wedding long distance is stressful and she alleviated that.
7) She felt like an old friend. She has a great sense of humor and outlook on life.
8) Most importantly I was insane about the flowers. I spent a long time looking at flower combinations. I sent her long emails. I wrestled over the coral color. And she took it with grace. I was surprised how much wedding planning brought out the bridezilla. Eventually, I just let go to let her work her magic and it worked out ok. For a perfectionist that says a lot.

The flowers provided by Marcy at Foster's for my daughter's wedding were absolutely stunning. Marcy's creativity is amazing and every single detail we initially discussed was carried out to 100 percent perfection. She did not skimp on anything. The flowers were vibrant and stood up beautifully in 90 degree heat all day. Her pricing was very reasonable as well. We would highly recommend her to anyone!

Let me just say, Marcy is one talented lady! We went into our first meeting and I had a slew of pictures (ahem, a book actually) that I had been collecting. I felt bad because I thought I was all over the place and wasn't exactly sure what I wanted. But she somehow saw a connection between all of the photos I had brought it. She immediately went to town creating a huge list of all kinds of flowers. I must admit, I was a tiny bit nervous as the wedding got closer just because it was hard for me to visualize the final product.

I was completely blown away by every single bouquet, table arrangement, and boutonniere. She even made a crown and a wand for our flower girl. We had a 1920's/Old World Circus themed wedding with bold striped table runners. The arrangements were absolutely stunning and unique. They fit in perfectly with the theme - each one being a little different. Some were tall, some were short. We had mixed in all sorts of old props, some that Marcy even brought of her own. My most favorite thing of all was my bouquet. It had such a variety of plants and flowers - air plants, cotton, craspedia, hydrangeas, etc. Oh how I with it would have lasted forever!

I could go on and on but back to the point - I could not have asked for a better florist than Marcy. Everything came so naturally to her and she was absolutely wonderful to work with throughout all of the planning. We could not have been happier!

We used Marcy, of Foster's Flower Shop as our wedding florist in November, and we could not have been happier with the beautiful arrangements she created. We met with Marcy in June and gave her very little direction as to what type of flowers to use for our wedding, as we were unsure what would look best with our venue (Stone Mill Inn). Marcy literally sat with us for an hour, and by the end of our session, she knew exactly what she was going to create and had it all documented for us. Her talents are natural and endless! She has a wonderful outlook on her business and her clients, and she treated us so well, introducing us to some of her children who were around that day. She is so calm and relaxed and has fabulous style! Our guests raved about our flowers and commented that they would never think to pull certain flowers into the arrangements that she did - it was so creative. Not one of her creations looks the same as the other, which is truly amazing. And, the flowers lasted for a few weeks after the wedding! Marcy has a true gift in creating floral masterpieces, and I wish her all the best!

Marcy did such a great job! The flowers were beautiful! I know very little about flowers and she put together wonderful arrangements. She had everything set up and it looked awesome! Marcy of Foster's Flowers is amazing! She is great to work with. She did an awesome job on everything. Her creativity truly shines through all of her work, down to the tiniest detail. I gave her very little direction because I didn't know just what I was looking for. She took what I gave her and what she had picked up about me through conversation and created flowers that were so perfectly me! All my guests raved about the centerpieces and arrangements and the bouquets were fabulous. I know I got so much more than I paid for in flowers, but I also got a great experience in working with Marcy. Foster's Flowers is very high end for the York area without the high end price tag. Amazing, amazing, amazing! Marcy is so talented and I could not have been happier with the arrangements she made for our wedding! My husband and I got married in Baltimore, MD and I have to admit that I was a little nervous working with a florist that I would not have the chance to meet prior to the big day (this probably sounds crazy, I know). But the minute I started talking to Marcy over the phone about my vision for the wedding I felt completely comfortable with her. She is so professional and experienced and she seemed to know exactly what I wanted. When she showed up at the house on the wedding day and opened that back of her van, I screamed (and almost started crying). The colors were absolutely perfect. The bouquets were beautiful, the boutonnieres were simple and modern and the arrangements for the church were stunning. She also made the cutest pomander for my flower girl and very tasteful and beautiful nosegays for the mothers. And the centerpieces for the reception! They were full, creative, beautiful…they were just perfect! To this day (now four months after the wedding) I still smile when I think about the flowers at our wedding. Thank you Marcy!

Loved loved loved the flowers. I had a specific look I was going for for the day, though I didn't know what specific flowers I wanted. Marcy got my vision right away and started describing things that sounded exactly like I wanted. When we added up how much everything would cost, it was over my budget so she helped me pare it down. The money we spent was well worth it because the flowers fit in perfectly with the attire and the venue and tied everything together.

I was so pleased to see the flowers when we arrived that day. They were perfect! Even though we had to cut back the flowers for cost and include more greenery in the bouquets, they didn't look cheapened. I can't imagine them looking any better if we'd spent more on them!

I contacted Marcy via e-mail a few times and had no trouble getting a quick response, but I didn't have to contact her much.

There are so many positive things to share about Marcy. Her work is intriguing and creative. We had a vision for our wedding and she certainly brought it to life. She let no room untouched with flowers and linens! Marcy ended up surprising us with an additional linen then the order we had placed and it was just so much fun! Just Gorgeous!

I couldn't close my mouth for 10 minutes. I was in awe as were all of our guests. As a flower lover it was important to me to get this right and did she ever. I was afraid having a reception in a tent would be unimpactful but it was just beautiful. The colorful but tasteful flowers, the greenery, and the table decor was perfect. The wedding canopy was breathtaking, so much so that many of our guests took pictures of themselves underneath it. Marcy was very easy to work with and I highly recommend this talented florist.

I loved working with Marcy for my wedding. We ordered 10 boutonnieres, 1 corsage, 7 bridesmaid bouquets, 1 bridal bouquet, petals for the aisle, two altar arrangements with pedestals, 5 terrarium centerpieces, two small arrangements for the head table, and flowers to decorate my wedding cake/cannoli display. For all that, the price was approximately $1700, which was a very competitive rate. We never met in person because I don't live locally, but Marcy was willing to facetime me from her shop so that I could get a better idea of rental options. She adjusted the invoice and plan on the fly as our numbers changed.

One thing that sold me on her right away was our initial consult. She asked for a photo of my dress and a pinterest board link of my ideas for the wedding. I originally had one centerpiece in mind (pumpkins with flowers on top), but when we chatted she had perused my pinterest board on her own and found these terrariums I had pinned and loved but didn't even think were an option. She made them with our colors and theme and they were beyond romantically beautiful.

I think Marcy 100% got my vision, and the flowers were perfect for the event. We had a minor snafu with flower petals not getting on the tables as we'd discussed, but I didn't miss them (in fact, they likely would have been too much), and she reimbursed us the cost with no question. She also brought extra small arrangements for the cocktail hour and had backup boutonnieres in case something happened with the men. She was flexible with delivery options and our rental drop-off (she's normally closed Mondays, but we had a Sunday wedding so she made an exception). I highly recommend Fosters Flower Shop!

Fosters Flower Shop did an amazing job with our flowers and greenery. They were helpful in suggesting options that went with my vision and overall I was blown away by what they came up with. Marcy and the team were great to work with and their shop in York is super adorable- I'd recommend visiting! She spent an hour or more a couple different times on the phone going over our plan. They were updating their database over the summer and a few proposals got switched and some stuff got messed up along the way, but together we fixed the problem and they were apologetic and helpful in doing so. Hopefully they have it all worked out by now. Overall, I would highly recommend them if you want gorgeous displays and arrangements that are a little outside the box!!

Marcy was super nice and our flowers turned out gorgeous. I think the mark of a great florist isn't what they can do in general, but what they can pull off on your budget. Marcy didn't turn up her nose at our flower budget and truly made the most of it with her creativity. In fact, most of her arrangements ended up looking more expensive than they were. Our flowers ended up in just the kind of style I had envisioned, which was impressive since I was an out of town bride that never got to meet her in person or review mock-ups. I got so many compliments on my bouquet and the flowers in my hair, and by the end of the reception, when offered, many of our guests chose to take our centerpiece florals home with them.

Marcy's floral arrangements for our table centerpieces, decorations, and bridal party bouquets were very, very beautiful. She put together gorgeous arrangements and placed them where they would really make our venue look spectacular. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, she was somewhat difficult to get ahold of due to her volume of work in peak wedding season. However, on the day of, she proved that she was the correct choice as our florist. She made my vision of an arch behind our sweetheart table come together practically and beautifully.

My flowers were gorgeous! I really don't know much about flowers. I can't name flowers, and I didn't know exactly which ones I wanted in my bouquet. Marcy (the florist) is so creative and has a real eye and talent for working with flowers. We spent time talking about my vision, the overall theme and feel of the day, I showed her some inspiration pictures, she looked at my dress and the bridesmaid dresses and what she came up with was amazing. My mom, bridesmaids, and I were so excited when she delivered the flowers- we couldn't believe how beautiful they were! Sometimes it was difficult to get in contact with her, but the end product totally makes up for that!

Marcy did a good job. She got a good vision of what I wanted the flowers to be like and did a good job of translating that into arrangements. My one complaint was that she got a little confused with the colors and some of the arrangements that were to be red turned out white. Let me preface this by saying that Fosters Flower Shop did not provide any service to me. And this is why:

I work an alternate work schedule and have off one Monday a month. My mother was kind enough to schedule the appointment for my Monday off at 1pm. My mother and I arrive to her place of business and rang the doorbell twice. There was no answer at the door. I proceeded to call, just in case she was busy and couldn't hear the door. There was no answer. We waited a few more minutes and then walked around the house and knocked again. No answer. So I decided to call again. This time she answered the phone...

She completely forgot about the appointment. She explained that, due to the flooding, a property of theirs was being gutted/repaired. I was willing to forive the fact that she just forgot about the appointment due to a personal crises. However...

When discussing a new appointment time, she asked when I had another day off to come in. When I told her that I only have one day off a month during the work week she made no attempts to schedule an evening or weekend appointment with me. Instead, she wrote down my email and said that everything could be done over the internet and the phone. She said that she would email me when she returned home for the evening....

Needless to say, it has been almost 3 weeks now and I have yet to receive an email or a phone call.

I am extremely disappointed by my experience with Fosters Flower Shop. What if they had just forgot about my wedding?? The situation was handled extremely unprofessionally.
