We were going to be married in the Cayman Islands but wanted it legalized here in the US first. Terrific Officiant

Gust did an outstanding job for my wedding. He was very easy and understanding to work with. Our ceremony had storms going on but he delivered the speech perfectly. I’m happy we chose Gust!

Great experience!

Gust was wonderful. We wanted something quick but meaningful for our ceremony and he executed it beautifully. He listened to what we wanted and was very easy to communicate with. Many of our guests said how great he was. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful Experience having Gust officiate our wedding

Gust was absolutely wonderful in leading our wedding ceremony and officiating our beautiful day. From the minute we first spoke to Gust, he put us at ease with his caring a professional manner. We were very pleased with every aspect, from him having us fill out a detailed form, to get to know us and then hand crafting a beautiful personalized ceremony based on the information he gained from us. Our family and friends commented many times on how lovely the ceremony was and what a great job Gust did. Gust also rehearsed with us ahead of time, so that everything went perfectly. He was very prompt and took time to get to know everyone before the ceremony. His thoughtful approach to our wedding definitely was noticed by all who attended and we are so happy that we had a perfect wedding day due to his preparation and kindness. Perfect for our Wedding

Gust was phenomenal. We had guests ask us after the wedding if he was a family friend because our ceremony was perfect for us. I found Gust on Wedding Wire and after a couple on-line conversations of our wishes he made our ceremony personal, relatable for our guests and light hearted with some laughter along the way.

Gust never skipped a beat!

It was a pleasure talking with Gust from the very start! When the original minister we hired cancelled only weeks before our daughter's wedding, Gust put my mind at ease with a very smooth transition. We arrived at the beach for the sunset ceremony only to realize we told Gust the wrong beach! Gust raced over without skipping a beat and arrived with a great big comforting smile on his face. He performed the ceremony calmly and flawlessly just in time as the sun was setting. Thanks Gust for a beautiful start to 2021!

Highly Recommend Gust!

Gust was the perfect choice for officiant of our wedding. Not only did my bridal party, and my wedding coordinator rave about how professional and classy he was, my husband and I loved the process with him even before our wedding day arrived. From day one we were able to face-time and chat through what I was looking for. Gust was very easy to communicate with through phone and email about ceremony structure and script making sure we were getting the ceremony we had imagined. My husband and I sat down one night a few months before the wedding and talked through questions Gust had given us about how we met and why we fell in love. This helped him create a custom ceremony tailored to us as a couple. We added some custom vows that made everyone including us cry! It was exactly what I wanted, and everything went smoothly. I highly recommend Gust.

We and our guests loved Gust

Gust was a fantastic officiant for our September 2019 wedding. He immediately put my now husband and I at ease during our planning process. Gust has a lot of experience and knows what he is doing when it comes to wedding ceremonies, he created a very personalized and sweet script for us which was finalized weeks before the wedding. Gust arrived early on the day of the wedding to work out all the final details with our DJ so everything went off without a hitch with no extra work from me. We received several compliments from guests on the ceremony as it was funny, sweet, personal, and the perfect length. I definitely recommend his services.

Amazing experience.

Gust was fantastic. My wife and I were trying to plan a wedding in Michigan to be closer to our friends and family from our home 1200 miles away. Gust made the whole thing painless by video chatting, keeping us up on a timeline for what he needed, and being prompt and helpful throughout the process. Beautiful ceremony

Blending Two Cultures Together

Gust amazed us with his abilities to create a beautiful and unique wedding ceremony that exceeded our expectations. For us, the most important component of our wedding was combining our two cultures together - Christian and Persian. Planning a wedding from out of state added another layer to the wedding planning. However, Gust put us at ease and spent time hearing our story and what we wanted for our ceremony. Gust had a great understanding and knowledge base of each culture and what was needed to blend the two cultures together. We cannot thank Gust enough! Couldn't have asked for a better officiant!

We are so glad that we chose Gust to officiate our wedding ceremony. We received feedback from our guests that our ceremony was extremely touching and unique. I think this is largely because Gust worked to make our wedding script very individualized. Gust had us complete an intake form that prompted us to carefully think about what we love about each other, why we want to marry each other, what we have in common, and more. He then provided us with a script and allowed us to make edits so that our wedding ceremony could be exactly as we envisioned it. Gust is also accommodating to different forms of unity ceremonies, readings, etc. He seemed very flexible in what he was willing to do and even accommodated last minute changes for us the evening before the wedding. Our ceremony ended up being so uniquely us that our guests were shocked when they found out that Gust wasn’t a family member or close family friend! He is very warm and made our ceremony feel intimate and special. He is also very professional and punctual. Thank you, Gust, for making our ceremony so beautiful, intimate, and sacred! I will always remember the ceremony as my favorite part of the wedding day.

Perfect & personal!

We chose Gust blindly while living out of state. Absolutely the best decision! He was so professional, personable and genuine. A real delight to have as our officiant. He asked many questions & spoke to us via video chats to really get to know us and our story.

Book him already! Gust is a great choice for an Officiant!

Not only is Gust a great guy, but he's an amazing speaker and officiant. We were incredibly lucky to have chosen him to be part of our special day. We did a non-religious ceremony and it was everything we had hoped it would be. Gust was very prompt, and even showed up about half an hour earlier than we had originally asked him to be there so we could run through everything beforehand. He felt like a close friend, even though we only met him once. We have numerous compliments on our amazing officiant. Super easy to work with, very punctual and overall just a great speaker. Gust is a great choice for a wedding officiant!

Gust was the first officiant my husband and I interviewed for the role. Immediately we knew we had to have him. He's so funny and relaxed. He brings a calm presence to the room. Wedding review

We found Gust via Wedding Wire and were so happy with our decision. We did not know Gust prior to finding him on Wedding Wire, but feel he captured our love story so well. He was easy going throughout the process and communicative. I was relieved to do everything through email, text and phone as we live on the east side of the state. We also appreciated that Gust accepted our decision to have a non denominational ceremony. Gust was organized for the wedding rehearsal and had different ideas throughout when we got “stuck.” I would recommend Gust to anyone looking for an officiant!

We had just over a week to find an officiant and Gust was the only one that met with us and could do everything we were requesting. He was able to get us in with the short notice (even though he ended out having a family emergency) and also write vows that were very much so personalized.

He was on time, made us feel comfortable/genuinely cared for, and didn't forget anything we requested to make our ceremony special.

Gust, was great to work with! He was highly recommended to us by our wedding venue (CityFlats Hotel) and soon after contacting him through his website he set up a phone call with us. Through the process he made sure we were comfortable with the script and continued to assure us (the bride and groom) that everything would be fine. We were quite nervous prior to the wedding and Gust made sure we were well rehearsed, answered any questions we had and again assured that everything would turn out great.
We included our son in the ceremony and Gust helped us make it meaningful. Gust arrived early to venue and took a moment to meet our family members and again check in with us to let us know that everything was going to turn out great! We received very positive feedback from our friends and family regarding the ceremony.

I can’t say enough good things about Gusto! Great officiant, so professional, and extremely helpful. Everything you want when selecting someone so critical to your ceremony. We really enjoyed working with Gust, even though we did not know him beforehand. He is a very warm person who listens well and makes you feel comfortable. We knew we wanted a non-denominational service that would be short, about us, and not say anything other than "I do". Gust was incredibly accommodating and was actually able to pull this off. It was a beautiful service and exactly how we wanted it.

We got married on June 22, 2018, and Gust was great to work with! His organization, knowledge and leadership helped shape our ceremony, and made it perfect. He is great at communication and helps keep you on track with a time table on when things should be submitted etc. He was punctual and polite. He was honest when we had a weird

Gust was amazing accommodating us with our daughters' baptism as well as marrying us the very next day. MUST HAVE!
Gusto married my husband and I just a couple weeks ago on March 3rd in Grand Rapids... we cannot say enough good things! We have received so many compliments on Gust's delivery of our ceremony, he really was the final piece to make it perfect. From the first time we spoke, Gust was professional and efficient. He took the time to get to know us as a couple which really showed in the draft he sent us- which he produced very quickly! In the same time, he didn't take up too much of our time- which is key for brides. Every interaction was very stress free as I knew I could count on him the day of the wedding. I was a little stressed right before the rehearsal and Gust was there to comfort me and reassure me everything would be just fine, something he didn't have to take the time to do but he really seems to care about his couples. Even when the mic didn't work at our ceremony, he continued without a hitch and delivered just as he had promised, everything was great!! We were honored to be married by Gust and recommend him to everyone and anyone who is looking for a professional, personable officiant. We insisted he stay for a drink after the I Do's as he was such a big part of it! We couldn't have asked for better!

I really don't know what I can say about Gust that hasn't already been said. My now husband and I had a falling out with our previous officiant 3 months before we got married. We had looked at Gust's site previously and were very impressed so decided to contact him to see if he was available on the day we were getting married. Here I was freaking out about trying to find an officiant when there were only three months left until I got married, but Gust made the whole process the easiest part of my wedding planning. We live out of state so were not able to meet with him in person before our rehearsal but he was quick in responding to emails and would always make sure to ask any questions if he had them. The questionnaire he has on his website was SO helpful for us, especially with being out of state, to really get to know both Gust as an officiant, and he got to know us as a couple. He was extremely professional and always on time. I still get compliments almost a year later on how much people loved our officiant. I'm sorry that it has taken me this long to post this but please look no further and book Gust now!

Gusto was THE best! My husband and I had no idea who were going to have officiate for our outdoor wedding but after reading reviews from past clients, we decided to go with Gust and we were so glad we did. We had a pretty good idea of what we wanted to say at our ceremony but just needed help getting started. Gusto put together a great first draft and let us edit it to our liking. He officiated my sister's wedding 2 months before and did a wonderful job for her also! He made both of our weddings feel special and unique. Gusto is a fantastic officiant! He took the time to get to know us through a pre-wedding interview. Then, he provided us with a draft ceremony script that we were free to comment on. He was very deferential to our wishes as a couple.

On wedding day, he hit a home run as far as we're concerned. His delivery was very personal and even though he has done hundreds of weddings, our ceremony felt unique and special. It seemed as if Gusto had known us for years.

Another noteworthy thing about Gusto is that he helps to ease the pressure on the couple. He encouraged us to relax and trust him to handle the ceremony so we could simply focus on each other and enjoy the moment. Gusto is an all-around excellent choice for an officiant and we would highly recommend him.

Gust did our wedding this past March and did a FABULOUS job! He was very patient and imformative, and worked with us even when we decided to practically re-write our ceremony 2 days prior to the wedding! So we really struggled with figuring out our officiant. We read a ton of great reviews about Gust and boy, I am happy we somehow landed him. He was phenomenal and truly a professional at what he does. He is thoughtful, personal, and overall lovely. He is truly there to make your day whatever you want it to be. From the very beginning, Gust was extremely helpful, professional and accommodating when it came to putting our wedding ceremony together. Gusto was amazing to work with and did a phenomenal job! We were looking for a simple, intimate ceremony with a few friends and went with his "Simple Ceremony". He is extremely professional and responsive, with a website that is easy to read through the options for types of ceremonies, make payments, find contact info, or fill out forms he needs from the couple. All in all, very easy to schedule, plan, and pay for the whole thing. What struck us the most about him though was his personality. Gusto clearly has passion for his work and loves being part of your big day. We wrote a script together ahead of time, but when the big day came, he delivered that script as if he was our good friends and was telling our love story from personal account. It was touching and perfect. We could not have asked for a better ceremony and we would highly recommend Gusto for anyone!

We love Gust! We live about 2.5 hours out from Grand Rapids and he was very accommodating to our schedule and made meeting up a breeze for us. He was very responsive to emails and calls and made the process for us so easy. He took our suggestions and incorporated them into the ceremony more beautifully written then we had done. He also was very mindful of our beliefs and the feeling we wanted for the ceremony and nailed it! He made our ceremony unique from others and perfectly displayed both our personalities with his words written. On rehearsal night, he was prompt and ready to go. He kept things moving and really cared to coach the whole wedding party to make a beautiful moment unfold. He made everyone comfortable and truly cared about our big day to come. On our wedding day, again, prompt and ready to go. He was so kind to visit with the both of us separately and make us feel at ease and see how was were doing, as he know nerves run high on that day! The ceremony was flawless. He is very well spoken and a great speaker in front of large groups. Even when my husband and I slipped up on vows he was quick to help us out and not draw attention to it. We have instantly felt like we have known one another for some time which made us comfortable with the whole process. We had such a wonderful experience working with Gusto! My fiancé and I really struggled to find the perfect officiant for our wedding. We knew we didn’t want just anyone to marry us—we wanted someone who we felt extremely comfortable with, who would be engaging for our guests to listen to, and who would take an interest in our “story” and how we envisioned our ceremony.
We began our first Skype “meeting” not knowing what to expect, but by the end of our talk with Gusto, we knew we had found the right person to marry us! Right away, we could see how warm and caring he is, and how much thought he puts into every ceremony he performs. In addition to designing our wedding ceremony script together, we also met with Gusto for several pre-marital coaching sessions. We can’t recommend these sessions enough! Gusto’s approach is tailored to each couple he works with; we got to choose many of the topics we dealt with, and we found it very beneficial to our relationship. We never felt judged or anxious during these sessions; in fact, after leaving each one we would talk about what a good time we had, and how much we enjoyed spending time with Gusto. Through these coaching sessions, we not only strengthened our relationship as a couple, but we also formed a close friendship with Gusto.
When it came time to write our ceremony script, we really appreciated Gusto’s flexibility. We felt strongly that we wanted to design our own ceremony. Gusto was completely supportive of us taking the lead, while making sure that we had the guidance we needed.On the wedding day, we felt very relaxed about the ceremony, because we knew Gusto had everything under control. His delivery of our script was wonderful, and our friendship with him made the day much more meaningful. Everyone raved about him afterwards, and what a beautiful job he did with our ceremony. Gusto’s role in our wedding was much more than just an officiant. We started meeting up for marriage coaching sessions about 6 months before our wedding date. I wanted to make a connection and feel comfortable with the person who was going to marry us and have such a huge role on our big day! At first, my fiancé only agreed to go to these sessions because he knew it was important to me. After we left the first session, my fiancé looked at me and said, “Wow, he is amazing. You couldn’t have found a better officant for us”. After that, we both thoroughly enjoyed each of our marriage coaching sessions. During these sessions there were a lot of laughs, tears shed, and most importantly I could see my relationship growing with my fiancé. We could also feel a bond forming with Gusto. It started becoming a friendship, and that was so important to me.

Gusto was so passionate about wanting to make our ceremony perfect. He wanted it to be exactly how we envisioned it. Starting at the rehearsal dinner, he would not take an answer from anyone besides me and did a very good job at calming me down. He made sure we ran through everything until everyone knew exactly what they were supposed to do.

When it came to our wedding day, our ceremony was better than I could have ever imagined. Gusto did such an excellent job. I knew Gusto had the script that we had spent so many months working together on, but his delivery was beyond our expectations. He was so passionate and excited for my fiancé and I to start our new journey together and everyone witnessing saw that as well. Everything that we had worked together so hard on came together to be the best moments of my wedding day!

Gust was the perfect officiant for my now husband and I. We had a difficult time finding what we wanted in someone who was going to marry us on our special day. As a Jew marrying a Catholic, we both wanted to find someone who would honor different traditions while upholding the sincerity and importance of the event. Gusto was extremely accommodating while helping us plan our wedding ceremony. He took the time to personally call us to introduce himself over the phone since we live in Illinois. He was thorough and professional while personalizing our ceremony. Our outdoor wedding was in May and was quite windy/chilly. We had a great experience with Gust from Forevertwogether as the officiant for our wedding! Gust was recommended to us by the coordinator at our venue. After looking over his reviews, we contacted Gust who very promptly set up a time for us to have a conversation over the phone. After speaking with Gust, we decided right away that he was the perfect fit for our wedding! Over the course of the next year, we exchanged many emails with Gust. He was very flexible while planning out our wedding script. A family member of ours recommended Gust to marry us on our special day. We were not disappointed. Gust helped my husband capture a very important part of my heritage during our wedding. My husband and I wanted a simple cermeony in which everyone could understand and experience our vows. He was raised Catholic and myself Greek Orthodox. since both of us had traditions we wanted to incorporate we had a simple Methodist vow ceremony and the vow/first walk ceremony of the Greek tradition. Gust was able to co-officate our wedding with the pastor for our traditional vows. Gust really made our Wedding day special. He made us feel so comfortable and really took the time to listen to what we wanted and presented it so well! Gusto provided us with a wonderful experience, from the first day we met. He was very helpful in giving us ideas for presenting our wedding to our friends and family. Gusto was very friendly to all of our guests and we got many compliments on him and the presentation of our wedding. We were both very happy with everything and would recommend him to anyone that is looking to get married. We put our wedding on in our back yard and Gusto did a very good job of getting our wedding party organized.

We were so happy with Gust as our officiant for our wedding! Our guests are still talking about how wonderful our ceremony and vows were! Gust spent a lot of time with us so he really got to know the details that made the ceremony just perfect. It was as if he had known us for years. He also was very helpful giving directions and suggestions at our rehearsal so on our wedding day nothing was left to chance and everything went smoothly. Gust has a very calming demeanor which is perfect just in case one has a few pre-wedding nerves.. We picked Gust based on his great reviews and felt I, too, should leave another 5 star review.

Gust Bassianotis, our officiant was wonderful and responded quickly to questions leading up to the wedding. Our wedding date was also scheduled in a short time and he was quick to respond! He was professional, charismatic , passionate, well organized, gave great direction, and always had a positive attitude throughout the entire process! His efforts resulted in a stress-free and memorable wedding day. He did a great job with our vows, as he personalized them to really suit us. He really takes a personal note to get to know you as a couple and individually as well. Our day was just perfect! We are very thankful that he was our Officiant!!

Gust did a fantastic job as the officiant for our wedding. My wife and I were recently married at Trillium in Spring Lake on February 7, 2015. Gust delivered a very sweet and sincere ceremony. His professionalism is great and he was easy to work with. He articulated this all very well in the ceremony which I received several praises from guests at the wedding. We are a couple who decided to get married six weeks after my husband proposed. In November 15, 2014 we had the privilege of having Gust as our officiate. There aren't enough words to describe of how passionate Gust is about his job. He really does care. We chose him from his online description and the other amazing reviews other couples have left about him. Since the day we met with him we knew we wanted him to marry us. Gust its very created when it comes to vows. I loved the vows he created for us. When I, the wife, was saying my vows i couldn't finish because of tears of joy but he was calm and carried on and I thought that was very impressive and well done. He made us feel supported and made our special day even more special. We highly recommend Gust to anyone getting married, he deserves the best rating!

We had a lot of fun with Gust at our Halloween-costumed rehearsal and unique Christian ceremony on November 1, 2014. Gust was a little late for our rehearsal due to traffic, but he showed up in a scary mask and fit right in with our crazy, dressed up families! Gust was happy to let me customize the whole wedding ceremony to reflect our personalities, faith and interests. Our guests commented that it was the best wedding ceremony they have ever attended -- so personal, whimsical and unique. Gust has a deep, clear voice and makes lots of eye contact with the audience, drawing them in. Gust was an integral part of making our day so special!

Our wedding day was perfect with help from Gust! He kept the mood light and knew exactly what we wanted. Sometimes, wedding parties need a little direction and Gust did exactly that. Gust was AMAZING! We are not an overly religious couple but wanted a ceremony that catered to who we are as individuals as well as a couple. Gust sat down with us personally and then created a perfect ceremony for us. I found him by luck and I don't think our ceremony could have been more perfect without him. He performed a humorous and emotional ceremony that was absolutely perfect. All I can say is it was PERFECT!

We contacted Gust with very little time to meet and plan our ceremony. He was very understanding and professional, and worked with us every step of the way to make it all come together -even with the time constraints. Our ceremony was small, informal, intimate and secular; Gust tailored everything according to our needs and make it the perfect day.

I was looking for a very secular ceremony that respected my husband and my backgrounds. I was very impressed with Gust's knowledge of various religious traditions and his willingness to work with us to create a less than traditional ceremony. The ceremony was absolutely beautiful! He stressed what was most important to us about marriage. During the planing process, he helped me think through details that I didn't even think about. He was incredibly patient with us as we crafted our ceremony. After the ceremony many people remarked on how beautiful and touching it was. Thank you Gust!

Gust was truly wonderful to work with. He was able to create a ceremony that was unique and individual to us. He is very organized and was helpful during the rehearsal so that we all felt more comfortable for the big day. Many of my guests complimented on how the ceremony fit myself and my husband perfectly and that it brought tears to their eyes (as well as mine)! I would recommend Gust to anyone.

Stevenie and I are both from the San Francisco Area and we found Gust's site by recommendation from Allie at the English Inn in Eaton Rapids, Michigan. From the first moment that we talked with Gust on the phone we were confident that he was the right choice. From nearly 2500 miles away we casually corresponded with him and put together the outline of our wedding day ceremony. He inspired us to write our own vows which turned out to be the very best part of the service and was the most moving part for both of us and everyone present. He was very liberal in his approach to allowing us to add or subtract from the outline that he gave us and he custom tailored a tone was perfect for us and our families. We had a small wedding and he was the absolute perfect choice for our special day. It is nearly a month now that we have been married and every day we wake up with happy smiles on our faces remembering how perfect Gust and the English Inn were for both of us. We meet on the internet and felt the only place to find our officiate would be on the internet. After interviewing several officiates we spoke with Gust and that made our decision final. We knew we had found the best of the best! Gust was attentive to our needs in customizing our ceremony to be a reflection of US. He provided a very high standard of service, professionalism and support in preparing for our ceremony. The day of our wedding he arrived early, dressed professional and was very patient as we had to wait for a thunderstorm to pass. The ceremony he delivered was fantastic, he spoke of us and our relationship and children as though he had known us all our lives! Words simply can not express how satisfied we were with Gust. Gust was the perfect choice for our wedding officiant. He has a warm welcoming personality, and so easy to work with. He is easy to get in touch with, and responded promptly to emails. We wanted a non-religious based, personal wedding ceremony. Gust asked us questions about each of us and our relationship, to build a personalized wedding script of our journey as a couple, that we will remember forever!
He arrived to both the rehearsal and ceremony early and professionally dressed. We did not have a wedding planner so it was so nice to have Gust there at the rehearsal. He knows exactly what to do, and put us at ease right from the start. It was such a relief to have someone which such experience and knowledge with you on the most important (and stressful) day of your lives!
We received so many compliments about Gust, and the beautiful ceremony. How warm, yet professional and well spoken Gust was. Many people thought he was a close personal friend of ours because of the genuine personal ceremony he delivered. They thought we had known him for many years. I must say one of the hardest parts of planning our wedding in another state (we live in Florida) was trying to find the right Wedding Officiant. It's hard to gauge someone's personality and professionalism when you are having to do most of your searches online. I had stumbled upon Gust's website on The Knot and was happy to see he had videos and testimonials available for me to look at. I enjoyed his easy going manner and the way he spoke so I saved him as a preferred vendor.

A month later I still hadn't decided on a Wedding Officiant and so I reached out to our Wedding Coordinator, Aletha from Pearls Events, to send me a few recommendations. Her e-mail came back with with Gust's name at the top.

I called Gust and spoke with him and explained we lived in Florida and were having our wedding in Michigan. He assured me this was not a problem and has worked with many couples in the past that had done the same. Gust suggested we set-up some times to Skype so we could get to know him better and feel more comfortable.

Gust was great and made himself readily available to chat, which we really appreciated as our schedules are hectic and finding a time to Skype together was a challenge. Gust luckily was very flexible and made himself available to chat when we were. We were able to connect twice virtually before meeting him in person for our rehearsal.

Gust also was fantastic in creating a ceremony that included our blended family. My husband has 3 daughters from a previous marriage and we we wanted the girls to feel included in the process as much as possible. Gust suggested we do a family stone ceremony and along with that provided a beautiful speech he said during the ceremony. It was perfect.

I am very happy to have met and worked with Gust. He made a true effort to get to know my family and personalize our vows. THANK YOU Gust for being part of our day.

We came across ForeverTwogether.com as we were in search of an officiant for our recent wedding in Grand Rapids.
