We had our wedding reception at The Courses at Forest Park on 5/30/26, and we truly can’t say enough good things about this venue. From the food and service to the coordination and attention to detail, every aspect of our reception exceeded our expectations.
We chose the Magnolia Package, and the food was absolutely incredible. We selected the duet entrée with the stuffed chicken breast and filet, served with gratin potatoes and asparagus, and our guests are still talking about it weeks later. Wedding food doesn’t always have the best reputation, but this was genuinely one of the best meals we’ve had at a wedding.
As someone with multiple serious food allergies, I was especially grateful for the care the team took to ensure I could eat safely on my wedding day. They took my allergies seriously from the very beginning, which allowed me to relax and fully enjoy the evening.
Our coordinator, Tram-Anh, was exceptional. Her calm, organized presence throughout the planning process and on our wedding day helped us feel completely at ease. She was flexible, responsive, and genuinely invested in bringing our vision to life rather than fitting us into a rigid package or timeline. We dropped off our decorations beforehand, and she thoughtfully set everything up exactly as we had envisioned, somehow making it even better than we imagined.
The bartenders and service staff were equally fantastic. They kept everything running smoothly behind the scenes while making sure my husband and I always had what we needed. We were concerned about long bar lines, but adding the Veranda Cooler bar worked perfectly. I don’t think I saw a single guest waiting for a drink all night.
If you’re considering The Courses at Forest Park, just book it. You won’t regret it.

We could not have asked for a more perfect reception venue than Forest Park Golf Course, and so much of that comes down to the incredible team behind it. Our journey began when we toured the venue and met Lexie. From that very first conversation, she made us feel like our vision for the day would truly come to life — and that feeling is exactly what led us to book. Shortly after, we began working with Tram-Anh, and she was nothing short of amazing. She answered every question promptly, made us feel comfortable and confident throughout the entire planning process, and brought such a positive, reassuring energy to every interaction. We always felt like we were in the best possible hands. Because of the trust they built with us, we never had to worry about a single thing on our wedding day — we just got to be present and enjoy every moment. And enjoy it we did. The space itself is stunning, the food and beverage service was outstanding, and the flow of the entire evening was seamless. Our guests were blown away. Lexie, Tram-Anh, and the entire Forest Park Golf Course team went above and beyond our expectations in every way. If you are searching for a reception venue in the St. Louis area that delivers on atmosphere, service, and food — look no further. We are so grateful we chose this special place for our day -

I am so glad we chose Forest Park Golf Course for our wedding ceremony and reception! Along with being a beautiful venue, the food and drinks are spectacular (guests are still raving about these a month later), and the team is so knowledgable, accommodating, and dependable! Tram-Anh was the absolute best coordinator I could ask for!! I always felt reassured and that I was in good hands. She patiently answered all of my questions/requests and set up our decorations so beautifully! She also made us feel so comfortable and at ease during our wedding—she was meant to do this job!! Booking this venue was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! -

Best wedding ever!!!
Forest Park Golf Course was an easy choice for us. Everything is so organized and the package details are clear. You get the whole package here including ceremony space, reception, food, bar, and so much more! They also provide a “preferred vendors” list which helped tremendously to narrow down our other vendor choices.
Maddie was our venue coordinator and she was very easy to work with! She was always quick to respond and keep us in the loop on things. Another great part of this venue is that they will set up your decorations for you, you just need to drop off your stuff the week before and they will take care of the rest!
We got a lot of compliments from guests on how much fun they had at our wedding and how wonderful the food was. We loved our wedding day are so glad we went with Forest Park Golf Course! -

After touring and searching through all the venues St. Louis has to offer, we are so happy that we went through Forest Park for our wedding. Tram-Anh was our wedding coordinator and she was so wonderful. Very sweet, organized, answered all of questions that would pop up very thoroughly, and was fantastic in every way the day of. The food and drinks were top tier and have since heard so many compliments on it being “the best meal at a wedding I have ever had.” The ceremony space was beautiful with all of the flowers, greenery, and the water behind- and I loved having all the events of the day at the same location (we had many who traveled in). My vision was executed perfectly and had no reservations leading up to it that it would turn out anything but. Forest Park was unfortunately hit by a tornado just 2 weekends before our wedding and they could not have worked harder to make the outdoor space look as if nothing had just happened. Tram-Anh and her team will make you feel confident and taken care from the planning beginning stages all the way through to your special day. I wish I could relive this day again and again! -

Could not have asked for better!
I cannot say enough about the team at Forest Park Golf Course! From the start they were at my side asking if I needed help with anything along the way and made sure that every detail was perfect leading up to our big day. We had gorgeous greenery hanging from the ceilings that their team had hung for us, and it made us feel like we had our own perfect garden just like we wanted. The service was incredible and their team works like a well oiled machine that just keeps getting better. The culinary staff blew our guests out of the water! We still have guests almost three months later tell us it was the best meal they have had all year! Everyone on staff at Forest Park made us feel like we were family and we had the best day because of them. Our whiskey and tequila tasting on the veranda was also a huge hit! Lexi, Tram-Anh, Michael, Charley and the entire culinary team all went above and beyond for us and we could not be more thankful for them. We love you guys! -

We had our reception at FPGC and it was INCREDIBLE! The staff were all kind and helpful, the food was absolutely delicious, and the space was gorgeous!
Our onsite coordinator, Tram-anh was so the BEST! From the time we booked the space, she was available to answer our questions big and small, and she gave us so much peace of mind leading up to the day. We ended up having a bigger group than we originally anticipated (Head table of 16 + 214 guests), and even though it was a bit of a tight fit, Tram-anh and her staff situated the space so that the night flowed smoothly! All of our guests were so pleased with everyone they interacted with while at the reception!
I would enthusiastically recommend this space! They are professional, so helpful, and really helped to make our wedding a beautiful and memorable experience. -

Forest Park Golf Course is an amazing venue with incredibly hard working and caring staff. Lexi was incredibly welcoming and answered all of our questions during our first tour at the venue. Tram-Anh was an amazing coordinator throughout the whole process. She went above and beyond to make our wedding day just what we wanted and was always available to answer questions or address concerns. We are so glad we had the opportunity to work with her! A week before our wedding, the park and venue were hit by a tornado. We were unsure if our wedding would even be able to take place but the venue contacted us to assure us that they would be able to make things work. Instead of cancelling on us, the team worked incredibly hard to clean up the debris, repair damages, and beautify the space. I cannot thank them enough for all of the work they put in to make our wedding happen despite all of the challenges. We are so grateful that FPGC was able to host our big day and we cannot say enough amazing things about the staff. Their professionalism, compassion, and diligence is top notch! -

Our Perfect Wedding
We wanted to take a minute to brag on Maddie and Lexi and the entire staff at the Forest Park Golf Course for creating the most magical wedding we could ever have imagined. Lexi helped us in understanding the whole process in the beginning and answered all of our questions. She was so helpful and kind as we began the wedding journey! We were set up with Maddie to be our coordinator, and to her I am forever grateful for keeping my nervous at bay, helping me create the most beautiful space for our guests, and overall just taking care of us and being there with all of our questions along the way! Our wedding was so magical and honestly better than I ever dreamed it could be! I had no idea what I was doing and Maddie helped me and my husband so much!! The staff were so professional and fun, and there’s nothing I would have changed. Thank you to the entire staff and a very special thanks for your hard work and dedication to Lexi and Maddie! -

We absolutely loved Forest Park Golf Course!
They were so willing to work with the theme/ decorations we had in mind, and never made us feel like we were asking too many questions or bringing too much decor over! Our coordinator, Tram-anh, was amazing! She communicated well all through the wedding process, and was there to help it run smoothly all night. She kept checking in on us and asking if we needed/ wanted anything, which we so appreciated! The wedding day goes so fast, I definitely recommend having a Tram-anh to help it flow smoothly!
The food was AMAZING, and Chef was willing to work with us on a custom menu. We had hot dogs and mini sliders amongst other things, and everyone kept raving about the food all night! If we could get remarried here, we definitely would! Truly a one of a kind night Thank you FPGC for everything you guys do! -

Perfect Venue!
The absolute best place for our wedding reception! The indoor and outdoor areas made for such a perfect set-up! The staff was excellent to work with and a big shout out to Madison, our event coordinator!! What a sweet girl who went above and beyond to make sure our event was perfect! Wonderful wedding venue!
We reserved this venue 13-14 months ahead of time. They had a wedding there Friday and ours was on Saturday. There are window walls on both sides. There is beautiful wisteria and twinkle lights on one side and a lovely covered patio on the golf course side. We had 111 guests and were quite comfortable with plenty of room to dance and roam around. There is an open bar and the bartender was quick and the drinks were well made. The food was outstanding with steak and salmon and a pretzel bar at the end of the night! Our coordinator was Maddie and she was very professional and accommodating. She was flexible in meeting with us on short notice and never complained. It was an amazing experience!Forest Park Golf Course's reply:

Couldn’t have been better.
Our wedding at FPG was absolutely incredible and perfect in every way. Our coordinator, Tram- anh was wonderful. I’m a event producer myself and it was hard at first to trust other people to execute my vision- once we met with her, I felt fully comfortable and she even sent me photos of the set up prior to the cocktail hour so I could get a peek before my guests arrived.
Everything was exactly as I wanted and envisioned. Everyone has raved about the venue, the indoor/outdoor space, food and staff. Also, the banquet chairs are SO comfortable (hard to come by in a venue) if you want an excellent, elevated, stress free wedding that will wow your guests, Forest Park Golf Course is it.

Fantastic Wedding Reception Venue
Our wedding at the Forest Park Golf Club was absolutely outstanding! Lexi was stellar helping us when we first visited, learning about the different package options, and finding out that we could make the dream of having our wedding reception in Forest Park come true!
Maddie did more than we could ever have hoped for as our coordinator, helping us with decorating ideas, arranging all of the details, and getting everything set up perfectly on the day of the reception. We made some additions the week of the wedding that the club accommodated seamlessly. They made everything as easy as it could have been.
Our photographer was in an accident on the wedding day (oh no!) which pushed back the timing of the wedding. We arrived later than planned at the reception. Maddie was waiting outside with golf carts so we could immediately dash away for pictures at the Grand Basin- after she made a quick dash into the club to bring out some emergency finger nail tools! And the pictures around the Grand Basin: sunset reflecting on the water behind us… so beautiful!
And the food! The drinks! The service! Everything was absolutely outstanding. Me and my bride never got our own drinks- the servers were frequently asking us for anything we would like. It truly exceeded the dreams we had of what our Forest Park wedding reception could be!

When we began our wedding planning process, we struggled to find a venue that aligned with both our vision and budget. A friend suggested Forest Park Golf Course, and my husband and I fell in love with the huge windows, natural elements, and St. Louis connections. The team was knowledgeable, quick to respond, and super easy to work with; we loved working with Madison and are so appreciative of everything she did to make our day run smoothly! The food was INCREDIBLE. We loved everything at the tasting, and our dinner was highly complemented by our guests. My husband and I love pickles, so we had requested a pickle hummus during the cocktail hour, which the chef was able to custom-make for us. But they also went above and beyond to surprise us with pickle spears too! It was a small detail but meant a lot to us. With so many available venues in the area, I cannot recommend Forest Park Golf Course enough! It was so beautiful, and the staff made the planning process enjoyable and so easy! Forest park golf course was an amazing ceremony and reception spot. From viewing the venue and eventually booking it everything in between went smooth. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot and the food was amazing. We had around 200 people and it didn’t feel overcrowded. We got lucky with weather so people were able to hang outside and use the satellite bar which was a great add on feature. All our guests were so impressed with the venue itself and the food, don’t miss out on booking! -

We had our wedding reception at Forest Park Golf Course on 11-18-23 and Shelbi was our event coordinator. Shelbi was absolutely incredible!!! She was so organized, responsive, and detail oriented from the first email, to the last. She always had great recommendations how to fill the space for our reception and made me feel at ease with the planning process. Shelbi helped make my timeline making sure the reception ran smoothly, set up the room with all of the decorations, and coordinated with all of my vendors. All of her hard work allowed me to skip hiring a wedding planner or day of coordinator because she did everything they could have done, but even better because she knows the space so well! She executed our vision for the day down to every little detail. The room was absolutely beautiful and her recommendations filled the space perfectly. The food was delicious and cooked perfectly, the drinks were excellent, and the staff was quick and friendly. The staff also helped us with the clean up at the end of the night. We were so impressed and pleased with Shelbi and the entire Forest Park Golf Course staff! We still have friends and family raving over the reception! -

What a beautiful venue! We had a perfect day in May for our 6PM ceremony, and Shelbi the venue's day-of coordinator ROCKED IT every step of the way. We had more than enough room for our 150 person wedding, and every confusion- unlabeled item, or unprinted schedule did not matter because Shelbi made it work, checked on us every stage of the planning process, every stage of our wedding day, and created a beautiful, stress free experience for us. The staff was so professional and helpful, from servers to managers to the bartenders, every one there made our day so perfect. Outstanding Wedding Rehearsal Dinner!
We walked in completely unannounced on a Saturday afternoon in January 2022. We met Sloane, she walked us around, and we fell in love with The Champions Room for our son's upcoming Wedding Rehearsal Dinner in the Fall of 2022. Sloane threw the ball and Shelbi ran it in for the touchdown! Along with Herschel's direction, the entire staff, venue, food, and service were outstanding! They were so detailed and so quick to respond to every question, and with always a pleasant and happy attitude. This was the best place to host our event for sure. The right choice!
We held my son’s rehearsal dinner and welcome reception at the Norman Probstein golf course. Lexi Parks, who was our event coordinator was outstanding. She was flexible, resourceful and responsive. Since I was dealing with her remotely, her assistance was very valuable and appreciated. Nice facility, met our needs well, rental fee for facility was reasonable. Note that you’ll need to take care of your own music - we simply brought a couple of small speakers, hooked them up to an iPad and it worked well.Forest Park Golf Course's reply:

Our wedding date was changed 3 times because of COVID. We were 5 weeks away from our original date. Forest Park Golf Course went above and beyond in every single aspect with every change. They were so flexible with new restrictions as they came through daily. We were finally able to have our dream reception on September 18th.
Every guest has raved about the food, drinks, and staff. Lexi made sure every detail was perfect. And she even made sure I got a piece of cake. Amy was extremely responsive throughout every change. Lexi and Amy were both so warm and compassionate to us in our unique situation. Even when we needed to get golf carts 2 days before in order to take pictures around Forest Park since all the roads were barricaded.
We cannot imagine a more perfect place to have a reception from the area itself, the golf course, the food. Do not look anywhere else, this is the perfect venue. -

August 2020 Wedding
We had our wedding at FPGC on 8/29/2020. Despite the craziness of the world right now with COVID - our day was absolutely PERFECT! The venue coordinator Amy was extremely helpful, attentive, and easy to work with. We had a ton of last minute changes with our guest list & Amy was flexible & accommodating to all of those changes. The venue was absolutely beautiful - we had our ceremony on the outside patio (we somehow lucked out with an overcast 80 degree day in August in STL!) and the reception inside the venue. There is a deck attached to the venue where we had a second bar & guests were able to enjoy the dual indoor/outdoor experience. We had a served dinner which was delicious - we had so many compliments on the food afterwards from our guests. I'd recommend this venue to anyone - we are so thankful we chose to have our wedding here! -

We had our wedding at Forest Park Golf course and cannot say enough good things. The ceremony space was stunning on the patio overlooking the greens and the clubhouse was the perfect space for our reception. Big enough that we didn't feel squished yet small enough that the room didn't feel empty. We had just under 200 guests at our wedding. The food was phenomenal and the wait staff was superb. However the shining star was their coordinator, McKinley. Honestly without McKinley, this wedding would not have been possible. She is very professional and extremely accommodating, she answers emails promptly and with much detail so there were never any unanswered questions. I must have emailed her 60+ times in the weeks leading up to the wedding and she never once seemed annoyed or bothered. She was gracious and helpful and is extremely detail oriented so I knew I could trust her to set up all of my decor on the big day. She put out our aisle signs, centerpieces, place cards, memory table, dessert decor, welcome sign, head table decor, guest book and more. Each piece was placed with care and the reception room looked stunning. It was truly the wedding of my dreams and I am so grateful to McKinley for helping out so much. 10 out of 10, would recommend Forest Park Golf Course for your wedding! -

We absolutely LOVED that we chose Forest Park Golf Course for our special day! It was BEAUTIFUL & everything we dreamed of!
Tram-anh was a ROCKSTAR! She was CONSTANTLY communicating & checking on us leading up to the big day & during our event. She always made sure we were taken care of! Our whole wedding flowed so smoothly & that would not have happened with her! We are so happy that we had Tram-anh for our day!
Our guest really REALLY complimented the food! It was all so delicious! They also really complimented the space & how beautiful it was with the lighting!

As an out-of-town bride without a wedding planner or coordinator I had a lot of nervousness about everything coming together but Lexi went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect and evening ran with ease. The venue is ideal for a summer wedding. I highly recommend adding a bar to the veranda - it's well worth the small charge and our guests took full advantage of that space all night long. We had about 160 guests and the venue/dance floor was a great size with a band staged at the front. FPGC has lot of options to make your reception exactly like you want. Based off other venues we toured, the packages at FPGC were a great value, provided flexibility and the venue had the indoor/outdoor element we were looking for, for our July wedding.Forest Park Golf Course's reply:

Amanda Sent on 08/23/2011For the most part, my experience with Forest Park Golf Course was good. It is a great space with lots of natural light and great views of the golf course. The women who run the show, Amy & Nikki, are very helpful and are quick to respond to emails and phone calls. We did have some issues on the day of the reception, but my wedding planner contacted the regional manager and they gave us a generous refund. Be sure to ask if there are golfing events going on the day of your wedding, because we were told there wouldn't be any and that wasn't true! Parking was kind of a disaster.
