My partner and I decided to do a Springtime wedding and decided on Foreland with the hopes that their green space would be in bloom by our big day....I am SO GLAD WE DID!!!

Foreland has the most dreamy waterfront, with sparkly lights along the river, flowers and trees, all of which are impeccably maintained. It was clear to us right off the bat that we'd be taken care of by their staff, just as they take care of the space itself, and the team didn't disappoint.

We went inside to dance, and the whole place was so romantic we barely needed to bring in any lights or greenery. Foreland has a modern feel but is still warm and cozy. Our entire family was on cloud 9.

Set beside the Catskill Creek, Foreland stood out as a captivating wedding venue. The calm waters and sunset glow beautifully enhanced the rustic brick buildings. With spaces for a waterfront ceremony, creek-side cocktails, and a cozy reception in the historic structure, the layout was well-planned and perfect for our cozy 80-person wedding. The attentive staff ensured a smooth event, where nature's charm met simple elegance, creating a memorable setting where genuine moments merged with the picturesque environment. We had a beautiful time!

We knew we wanted to get married in the Hudson Valley, and Foreland is the perfect spot. Located in Catskill village, all our guests came up from the city very easily, the team coordinating was wonderful, the lighting and music and waterfront was magical. We'd give 10 stars if we could.

My MIL initially found Foreland's website and we decided to tour. It's a new venue within a big arts complex and is GORGEOUS. We chose to do ceremony outside on the water and then have the party in their Waterfront interior space. It's a really modern venue in old, brick buildings...everyone loved it. I'd never want to have my wedding anywhere else!!!! THANK YOU FORELAND!!!

Foreland is the perfect mixture of the nature the Catskills has to offer combined with a modern sleek venue that was comfortable and really easy for our guests to relax in. The flexibility of the spaces and their staff made it so easy to make our vision come to life. I hope I get to go to a wedding at Foreland as a guest soon!

Don’t miss this! I held my wedding at Foreland this summer. The venue is in the heart of the Hudson Valley, right on the waterfront with a stunning view of the Catskills in the distance and connected to Main Street Catskill. The building is a beautiful landmark architectural restoration of an historic mill with great details and lots of spots for good photos inside and outside. The event felt dreamy and romantic but with a really fresh vibe. The venue's team were very responsive, pleasant, and had great attention to detail. They have multiple spaces to choose from and each is unique; we chose two spaces for different events during the weekend. Picture perfect weekend, went off without any issues. Highly recommend!

Absolutely stunning grounds and facilities! We were blown away by the balance of historic architecture and modern design at the venue, which created a unique and picturesque setting for our special day. You can't beat the romantic waterfront location beautifully set in the Hudson Valley. Our guests were just as impressed as we were!

We were married here in the spring of 2023 in the garden overlooking the waterfront and it was absolutely STUNNING! The Book House at Foreland was the setting that my husband and I had been searching for in the Hudson Valley! Immediately upon walking through the door, Foreland truly felt special and unique to us. Because it’s a beautifully restored historic mill and not a dedicated “wedding venue”, it doesn’t have that cheesy / formulaic feel that some wedding venues can have. Rather, it felt well-designed and sophisticated and was exactly what we were hoping to find. The site itself is memorably beautiful, and the view was absolutely perfect. In the late evening, with the light breeze, golden lighting, and the waterfront as our backdrop, there are few locations that can offer such a romantic atmosphere.

We loved that the layout of the garden, Great Lawn and the interior spaces gave us separate environments so we could have an effortless transition from our wedding ceremony to the reception, dinner and dancing. Also fantastic is the fact that there are two apartments upstairs to get glammed in, we definitely opened the champagne a little early upstairs but the suites ended up being a great setting to chill before our big day.

Most of our friends were coming to the area from Brooklyn. There are a wealth of Airbnbs nearby, and our guests loved the quant town of Catskill and exploring all of the unique little townships in the area. My family loved checking out the historic hotels and sights in the area over the weekend. It was so important to us that our guests thoroughly enjoy themselves, and everyone was raving at the end of the weekend. It was simply perfect. The best choice we ever made was marrying each other, but the second-best choice we ever made was choosing this venue.

I'm still living the dream! We recently had our wedding at the Bookhouse space it was absolutely magical! The venue makes for the ideal Hudson Valley wedding. So romantic and charming. The ceremony took place outdoors along the waterfront. We had cocktails on the lawn then moved inside for dinner and way too much dancing. Most of the guests were coming from our of town and had never visited the Catskills before. It was such a fun weekend outside the city. So much fun and a memory I will cherish forever!

Our wedding was an absolute dream. It was beautiful, fun, and hassle free. We loved the unique setting and just being on the waterfront. Our friends and family had a blast. I highly recommend Foreland!

The Bookhouse at Foreland is a gorgeously renovated historical waterfront venue that made all our wedding day dreams come true! The staff at Bookhouse was incredible throughout the planning process and day of, and they helped find amazing local vendors to dazzle our guests. Highly recommend, it's the kind of venue your guests won't stop talking about for years to come!

My friend had her wedding here and I loved it so much I had to write a review. The staff was super helpful and personable, the location is unbeatable (10 min from the Hudson Amtrak) and it’s right in Catskill which is super cute. The apartments that my friend got as part of the wedding package were so beautiful- I’ve never seen perks like that honestly. Definitely a gem!!

Foreland has everything you need! This is a MUST book! Have your entire wedding weekend here! It made our event ideal for out of town guests! One beautiful location with many gorgeous spots for different vibes, depending on your event needs. Foreland for the Welcome Party, Rehearsal, Rehearsal Dinner, Ceremony, Reception, After Party and Sunday Brunch! They have it all! Trust me!
