Andrea is amazing! She and her website walk you through the whole process. You can pick a ceremony that's already written, or you can create your own using all different options she provides on her website. We chose to create our own, with an extensive amount of options for each part of the ceremony. She's a real pro and has something on her website for every kind of couple. Andrea is also very thorough, communicative, and sends reminders when needed. I would recommend her to everyone who needs an officiant!

Andrea was the best officiant we could have asked for! She was super communicative and organized, leading up to and during the wedding, and she made sure we had everything we needed to make the process go smoothly! I was definitely a nervous bride, and she calmed our nerves and was patient with us even when we forgot the marriage license at home! We went with the short and sweet elopement package and had the most perfect ceremony celebrating in Asbury Park with our families. She was even willing to go out on the jetty with us. Highly recommended!!

Amazing Officiant!
In the frenzy of preparing everything for our small civil ceremony, Andrea guided us through the marriage license application, helped us select the perfect location, recommended some amazing photographers, and on the day of brought my groom and myself back into the moment. She officiated beautifully and helped make our day truly special! I cannot recommend Andrea enough!
Though we hired her for a small 8-person elopement ceremony, she offered packages and beautiful set-ups for larger gatherings. Should we go for a larger wedding celebration in the future, we would definitely love to have her officiate again :)

I found Andrea's websites from Google searching for someone to perform our ceremony for a small local wedding. Her website is welcoming, very informative, and without meeting her, you can tell that she is professional and passionate in what she does. It was also refreshing to see someone with the same values as us on marriage equality. I instantly felt a trust here, and knew that she'd be the person doing our ceremony.
At first, we were planning on having a micro wedding. Even being micro, the wedding planning seemed to be more about pleasing other family, and not being true to ourselves. For months, I found myself repeatedly going back to Andrea's elopement website. On it, it says, "It means it’s just about the two of you, your love and commitment to each other. It is a celebration focusing on your love." We both decided that this was the best for us, and did not want to wait any longer. We contacted Andrea, and were married in a private ceremony within a few weeks.
Throughout the marriage application process, Andrea let us know exactly what we had to do at the municipal office, and she was available for any questions we had. After our ceremony, she gave us printed instructions on how to obtain our marriage certificate. Throughout the process, she followed up with us via email. She makes it stress free.

Personalized Wedding Cermony
We had a non-traditional backyard wedding due to Covid. We interviewed a few vendors and Andrea won us over with her professionalism and experience. Her website is really great and provides a couple many different ceremony options. We are not that creative so this helped helped us piece together a ceremony that was perfect for our celebration.
They day before our wedding Andrea was available for a rehearsal. On the day of the wedding she arrived promptly and coordinated with our DJ. Prior to the ceremony starting she made sure all the official paperwork was signed so that our witnesses could enjoy the celebration. We would recommend Andrea/For this Joyous Occasion

Andrea officiated us right on the beach in bay head. It was a last minute decision and she was nothing short of professional and so kind. She was so patient while we customized our wording in our ceremony (even added some words at the last minute). I highly recommend her services to anyone looking for an elopement or a small wedding. It was a windy day with high tide, we did a fb live and you still heard her clear. It was a perfect day and she did an amazing job. She responded very quick to emails and answered every question we had. She also provided us with decorations, came early to set everything up.

Andrea was very accommodating to our quick changing needs. We went from a 5 person elopement deal to a seaside winter wedding ceremony almost effortlessly... great ideas that I never even heard of (ok yes my 1st own wedding, but I’ve been to many). The ring warming ceremony and handfasting tradition just put it over the top. Many of our guest loved the ceremony, even saying “it’s been one of the best” they’ve attended. Highly recommend.

Andrea is an amazing officiant and such an easy person to work with! In all the stress of wedding planning we never had to worry about our ceremony. She has so many different choices for each part of the ceremony, so it is totally personalized to you! And if you don’t want to pick each part, she has great traditional ceremonies as well! Andrea married my husband and I two years ago in a beautiful, personalized ceremony. Fast forward to August, and we welcomed our first son. We discussed having a blessing ceremony for him, and who better than Andrea to perform the ceremony! Again, we were able to personalize his ceremony. Andrea gave such a heartfelt and moving ceremony. She was also able to deal with unforeseen situations. Our ceremony was to be held outside at my house, but a few minutes in, it started raining. We moved inside and Andrea had no problem beginning again. She was wonderful in guiding us through the paperwork. She was smiling, positive and enthusiastic throughout everything. Wonderful ceremony
Andrea performed the most beautiful ceremony for us. It was the perfect combination of incorporating a little bit of interfaith religion but more of a focus on love and family. She has a unique ability to come across as professional yet warm and caring which engaged the audience. I can’t say enough positive things..I was definitely a nervous bride but that quickly went away in our first meeting. I would highly recommend Andrea she is wonderful!

Andrea waa very professional from the first time I contacted her in January. She was courteous kind and understanding of the importance of our day and ceremony. Although the weather was threatening rain she kept in touch with me all the way until hours before we arrived on the beach.

I would highly recommend Andrea for any type of ceremony. She was so helpful with all our questions and very quick to respond. She was professional and very friendly. Such a nice woman! Her website offers many options, even a Disney themed ceremony, that my daughter adored and used. Andrea was very willing to make any changes we wanted and was very reasonably priced. Her website also offers venue and ceremony ideas which helped out a lot. She made the whole process pleasant and stress free. It was a wonderful ceremony.

We were riding blind when we picked an officiant for our wedding and she was so beyond wonderful that she was our favorite "vendor" that day! Four years later, there was no doubt in mind that we would use Andrea to officiate our baby blessing ceremony for our son. Families were hesitant on what this ceremony would be like and then told us, "it was so beautiful, your officiant did an amazing job and this was the best christening I've ever been to." For This Joyous Occasion
Andrea was amazing from the first moment I called her. After leaving my town hall and learning my mayor could not perform the ceremony, I was frantic. But I remembered that I had searched for a backup plan and Andrea turned out to be amazing in every way. She had availability for Saturday, which was in 5 days. Her wedding vows wording were personalized. And then servers texts, calls and emails. End product was the nicest wedding service ( I may be biased, but a few people told me that too)!! She was calming and so flexible. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone without hesitation!! Lastly despite the snow forecasted she assured me she would be at the service. Luckily no snow!! Thank you again Andrea.

A perfect ceremony
Andrea was so easy to talk to on the phone and sent us an information packet to help us plan our ceremony exactly the way we wanted it to be. At our venue, there was a power outage one hour before the ceremony and Andrea helped us stay calm and we planned to continue by candlelight, but the lights came back on just in time. She is a lovely person and her way of speaking and conducting the ceremony puts real meaning into the words we chose. I would definitely recommend Andrea to anyone planning their wedding.

My husband and I found Andrea’s reviews on wedding wire, took a close look at her website and felt confident in what we could expect.
Andrea was wonderful. She was quick to respond, always kind and professional, and accommodating. Andrea never made us feel she was going to “run with our money”- trust me, you would be surprised!
Andrea handled both of our families (mostly mine LOL) at the rehearsal seamlessly with no hiccups.
For a day of some chaos, she was supportive and soft-spoken that added Zen to the day where it was needed.
Over all: hire Andrea and you will not be disappointed! :)

We planned our wedding from out of town and we were lucky to have come across Andrea while researching Officiants online. Andrea offered a ‘Build Your Own Ceremony’ option, which instantly grabbed our attention. Upon further research and a quick discussion with Andrea, we felt we had found the right Officiant to marry us. Andrea was very personable and she quickly put us at ease. We appreciated that we were able to personalize and tailor the wording of our ceremony.
Our planning process went smoothly, with our primary communications conducted over email and a handful of phone conferences. Andrea was always professional, organized, punctual, and courteous during our communications. She provided thoughtful feedback to us to ensure that our ceremony script flowed nicely and was balanced for timing. She also played a critical role with wedding day with logistics, as we opted to not have a formal rehearsal. On the morning of the wedding, Andrea spent a good bit time introducing herself to members of our wedding party and making sure that those speaking knew what to do and when. My nephew greatly appreciated this gesture!
Andrea was also helpful in recommending ceremony musicians she had experience working with…as there is a bit of collaboration required between the Officiant and the ceremony musicians that we had not thought of. In addition, she gave us pointers to pause at certain moments during the ceremony...to help our photographers capture a nice moment. We also received a Keepsake Marriage Certificate and a printed copy of our ceremony script from Andrea, to place in our memory box.
Overall, we could not have asked for a better Officiant. Our ceremony was eloquently delivered on our wedding day and our family and friends had nothing but positive things to say. We are looking forward to our wedding video, so we can experience our 'joyous occasion' all over again!

Couldn't have asked for a better experience
Our officiant was Sarah but we also worked with Andrea quite a bit. We could not have asked for a better experience. It started with the fact that they have a lot of info on their website and were very transparent with their pricing (something which we found to be rare with wedding vendors!). I appreciated that they performed a variety of different ceremonies (Christian, secular, interfaith, spiritual, etc.) and felt that they were very accepting.
During the planning process, they were very accommodating and helped us customize everything as much as we wanted. They have a lot of pre-written options to choose from for each part of the ceremony and they are open to changing things or personal additions. There were thoughtful options that accounted for family situations.
Andrea was also very well organized with clear contingencies in place. If anything were to happen to Sarah, that prevented her from performing the ceremony, or if we forgot our vows or anything like that, they had a backup plan. Sarah also helped us through a portion of our ceremony that we were supposed to have memorized that we definitely didn't get to.

Andrea was just amazing! From the time we got engaged, we knew that we didn’t want a “typical” ceremony that could be meant for anyone. We wanted something that reflected our personalities and our relationship. The thought of putting together your ceremony can be extremely daunting, but I promise it won’t be with Andrea! She makes it so simple and easy, leaving you with plenty of time and energy left for the rest of wedding planning. Andrea had multiple options to choose from and even allows you to “build your own ceremony,” which is the route we chose to go! This allowed us to tailor the ceremony to us. Andrea also gives you the option to fill out a questionnaire, we found this to be extremely fun and rewarding. Andrea was able to get the wedding party organized without any prior rehearsals, and was articulate in asking what we wanted and gave us choices on how we wanted out wedding to proceed. To say we were happy with Andrea’s officiating services is an incredible understatement! She was welcoming, attentive, and professional from the moment we met her! Her “Build Your Ceremony” tool was so helpful and gave us the perfect vows, readings, and special moments we were looking to include. All of our guests continue to comment on what a memorable ceremony we had and that was something we could not have accomplished without Andrea’s support! Our ceremony is forever memorable because of Andrea. The little book of our ceremony was such a sweet and thoughtful gift for us to always look back and re read . I was the lucky one to have found her on a whim on Instagram . I would do it all over again if I could and I would without a doubt hire Andrea again. People are still talking about our ceremony and how wonderful and heartfelt it was! She is the best and I can't thank her enough !

Very sweet and super patient (families can get a little pushy with pics n stuff!!). Was def the best choice I could’ve made for my special occasion! Service was for my daughters baptism not for a wedding. Def on my high recommendation list!! Thank you so much for everything!! :))

Andrea's support with our wedding ceremony went above-and-beyond what we could have imagined! We hired her to provide same-day coordination for our wedding ceremony. She was on top of every single detail, organized a really helpful rehearsal the night before, and was so composed, calm, and helpful the whole time. When our original plan to have the ceremony on the beach itself didn't work out due to weather issues, she helped us transition to another option and provided a source of calm and comfort every step of the way. She was a delight to work with, is extremely knowledgable about beach weddings and wedding ceremonies in general, and we couldn't recommend her highly enough. Thank you so much, Andrea!

Andrea was absolutely wonderful. She was so nice and easy to work with. She made the whole process wonderful and my guests couldn't stop singing her praises. She has a wonderful format that she emails you and you can pick or choose your ceremony or write your own. She also got my paperwork to the office so quick and my wedding license was ready for pickup in just a few days after the ceremony. Thank you so much Andrea!!!

My husband and I cannot thank Andrea enough for an absolutely perfect wedding ceremony. From the moment we sat with her we had no doubt we wanted her to officiate our wedding. She allows you to completely customize your ceremony. We sent her what we wanted to include and she sent us a copy of the ceremony to approve. It was so beautiful I cried just reading it. She included family members who had passed and a beautiful wine box ceremony. Every guest has said what a beautiful job she did. She arrived early to confirm details with us, our witnesses and our venue. Her words during the ceremony were beautiful and touched everyone. We cannot thank Andrea enough for making our wedding ceremony absolutely perfect and one to remember for the rest of our lives.

Andrea gave us a beautiful and intimate ceremony. It was so sweet because we fell short of one witness and she asked a woman in the park with her children to witness (thanks Kelli!!) for us ....just so we could get married on our day. We will forever remember 9/2/17. Andrea offered many options go us and was very flexible. I recommend anyone looking to get married go straight to Andrea!!

I am so happy that my husband and I chose Andrea and For This Joyous Occasion to officiate our wedding ceremony on 8/20/17. From the beginning, Andrea was incredibly informative and easy to work with. My husband and I are from different religious backgrounds and were unsure which route to go officiant-wise. We interviewed a couple of non-denominational officiants but they came off as very salesmanlike. Andrea was willing to accommodate us with a Skype info session and provided us with all of the information we needed. We wanted a short, but personalized ceremony. Her calm manner and understanding made the process incredibly easy. We filled out a worksheet with the information we wanted included and met with her to review. She was so helpful with instructing us on how to file the legal documentation too, which was so useful because it can get confusing. Everyone loved our personalized ceremony that she put together. I highly recommend Andrea to officiate your special day!

Andrea was extremely accommodating, patient and professional for our very small backyard ceremony. She was very organized and thoughtful in addition to being extremely prompt when it came to responding to emails (we communicated through email however she offered other means of communication and is there if and whenever you need to go over any details of your upcoming ceremony). My husband and I, and our family and guests were extremely impressed with her. She is very down to earth and personable, while being very pleasant and professional. If you are looking for someone reliable who will tailor things to fit your day and help make what you envision possible, then go with Andrea & For This Joyous Occasion Officiating Services! I would personally recommend her to anyone with an upcoming wedding!

My now husband & I chose Andrea as our wedding officient after we attended our friend's beach side wedding. We loved how we were able to customize our ceremony for our wedding, including my 10yr old daughter. Andrea walked us through the entire process and answered all questions. Andrea was a real pleasure to work with. Nobody is really there to tell you how and what you're supposed to do with every little detail of a wedding. Andrea was a big help in making sure the choices we made didn't seem outlandish, and little things that we wanted (like an unplugged wedding) were perfectly normal. We highly, highly recommend Andrea as she was a GREAT help and assistance to our wedding!
