We used For The Love of Pete Rentals for decor and a different rental company for chairs and tables. For The Love of Pete has an adorable store room. Talking to Dorri, the owner, about my wedding vision and picking out decor was a highlight of my wedding planning process. They were very accommodating when we had a flat tire and we had to change plans on them last mintue. I cannot recommend them enough and their prices are great. -

Dorri helped me find party supplies for my daughter’s Parisian theme bridal shower. The shower was stunning. I recommend For the Love of Pete in Salem. Hands down the best selection and service for event rentals. -

For the love of Pete made everything simple and easy for us. they worked around our schedule and make sure that we could come in whenever it was convenient. The return part of it was very relaxing. Katie Sent on 07/04/2017Dori and her team of ladies are amazing! We rented a keg tap bar and a few other items and they were so helpful with the pick up and drop off! We even forgot a piece for the keg bar and she met my father in between Portland and Salem to get it to us! Talk about great customer service! We will definitely rent from here again and recommend them to everyone we meet! -

For the Love of Pete saved us again and again for our wedding rentals with their unconventional array of items which we would have struggled to find anywhere else. Every piece from them was absolutely adorable and extremely reasonably priced, about half the cost of any other rental place. The staff was lovely to work with and so flexible - whether it was changing our invoice multiple times, giving us very open pickup and dropoff times and days without an extra charge, and even adding items to our order the week of over text. They also loved some of our DIY pieces and offered to buy them afterward! -

Priscilla Sent on 05/08/2014Man Dorri is the absolute best. I actually found her because she responded to a craiglist ad I posted about wanting mismatched china plates. Not only was it cheaper for me to rent from her than to buy and then resell I also didn't have to worry about washing or anything! Rinse and return! Since she washes and prepares everything anyway! I also did a ton of other rentals from her. Totally recommend. Her showroom is absolutely adorable. She had everything I wanted and more. And if she doesn't have it she'll get it for you - most likely someone will want it too. AMAZING. -

Dorri was absolutely wonderful to work with, and was kind, accommodating and responsive throughout the wedding planning process. I was especially impressed with Dorri's attention to detail with our floral arrangements. They are so gorgeous, and even better than what I could have envisioned! My bridal bouquet was beautiful, as well as bridesmaid's bouquets and her centerpiece flower arrangements were stunning. I would suggest For the Love of Pete rentals and florals to anyone who is planning their wedding! -

We had a DIY wedding venue and this was a great affordable option for renting all of our glass/dishware. My one critique is that some of the glassware was packed a little half hazard it all survived though! -

This is the 2nd time my family has used this company and there is a reason why... they have everything! Their inventory is HUGE. What I appreciate is when you go there, you can just walk around. Grab things you like and set your own kind of scene. They have tables available that you can set up your centerpieces to see if you like them which is super helpful. They let you roam around and ask if you need anything but don't really bother you which I like. One more difficult thing is that their website isn't the most "user friendly". The inventory numbers online don't necessarily match, and you may not actually be able to find it in the store because they just have so much!
The women who work there are wonderfully communicative and helpful. Need to add something to your order? No problem! Change your mind or need to eliminate something? All good! They really are awesome to work with and I appreciate having a place that is close to Portland that lets you be creative.
