Amazing desserts!

From the get go, For Heavens Cake was very responsive and helpful! I had ABSOLUTELY no idea how to figure out how many servings of each dessert to meet our guest count for the dessert bar and there was no hesitation in her responses. The pudding cups were to die for, the red velvet cookies were heaven, and our cake turned out even better than I had hoped. As the day grew closer and they couldn't find the answer to any questions they had in their client notes, there was no hesitation to call me and ask. Hands down, best service and desserts.

Wedding Cake 11.15.24

For heavens cake was recommended to us by our planner Katy at KNZ weddings. We loved our tasting and ended up doing a cake with 2 different flavors. We chose red velvet and cinnamon roll.

Dream Come True

I have never had a more positive experience than with this company. Kendall was extremely helpful and allowed our planning experience to be stress-free. I was hoping to have a dessert bar along with a small cake for my husband and me, and she was able to make it possible. They have incredibly organized pricing guides, and the tasting was exquisite. The most incredible part of this experience is that I drew a mockup of my desired cake, hoping that they could include little elements to it. The designer went above and beyond and literally brought my dream cake to reality. I plan on coming back here again and again for each and every cake I need for an event.

Delicious cake and wonderful experience!

We had a 4 tiear bride cake and a grooms cake. They both came out looking beautiful and awesome! They made the cakes exactly like we asked; We were super happy with the results! Many people told us how good the cake was with comments like "the cake was moist, there was the perfect amount of icing, flavors were delicious". Definitely recommend!!

Book them!

If you are looking for a baker for any type of event (showers, birthdays, weddings), book For Heavens Cake! As a wedding coordinator, I saw the work Dawn and the staff did and it was truly terrific. I have used them for birthdays and graduation cakes, and just recently for my own wedding. As soon as I got engaged, I knew I would trust For Heavens Cake bake my husbands surprise grooms cake. I sent a photo of what I visioned his cake to be, and it looked EXACTLY what I sent! I highly recommend them and will continue to use them in the future! Thank you guys!!!

Yummy dessert bar

Dawn with For Heavens Cake is so sweet (no pun intended). I am not big on sweets, but her cake changed my mind. We had a beautiful dessert bar. A few months after we booked them, I called to add on a grooms cake as a surprise for my fiancé, and they did it with no problem! I got compliments all night about how great the cake was

For Heaven's Cake was phenominal and professional from start to finish! We celebrated my Triplet daughters Sweet 16th Birthday Bash, this past February 17, 2018. They had a "Dreams Really Do Come True Fairy Tale Birthday event! They wanted a castle type & style cake! This cake was surpassed our expectations. It was held at the Marriott Fairfield Inn & Suites hotel! It not only was gorgeous, but delicious too! I and my family have become lifetime customers. Where do I start? I was introduced to For Heavens Cake while working in the wedding industry. Rick was always one of my go to vendors for cakes etc when clients needed recommendations. As a customer myself I have purchased many cakes and cupcakes from Rick for my personal birthdays, family events, and holidays. I am never disappointed with the quality! We highly recommend For Heavens Cake. The entire experience was fantastic. Norma was so helpful with the design and decisions...and even brought up a couple of items we hadn’t thought about for our wedding day that really helped us out a lot! We had the opportunity to meet the owner Ana and she was so wonderful and incredibly talented!! The cake was SUPERB!!! Beautiful AND delicious!!! I can’t say enough good things. The cake was so important to us and we could not have been happier.

I absolutely love For Heavens Cake. I have used them for my wedding, baby shower, birthdays, and many client events. The cakes are not only beautful but absolutely scrumptious! I’ve never had such delicious fondant! The Bavarian cream is a must try. I simply send a photo of what I’d like and voila! Perfection! They are professional, affordable and timely on every delivery. Absolutely amazing work! I went all over town looking for a special cake to be done no bakery would make it if it wasn't ordered at least 5 days before event day and for heavens cake got my cake order in two days before the event! Did I mention my event was on a Sunday also!! Most bakeries are closed sundays, cake was amazing exactly what I asked for! Not only did it look amazing, tasted deliciously amazing.

I get cakes and cupcakes here for every event, you name it! I can give every detail down to a T or just a few preferences and each time; the cakes are stunning and taste amazing! The response time is always less than an hour, if that as well! Really friendly business with down to earth professional, kind service!

I utilize For Heavens cake for every occasion I have! They are great! I’ve even had last minute cakes baked by them and they always pull through on the quality, taste and design! My Friendsgiving cake was so pretty no one wanted to cut it. But we were glad when we did.

FHC has done all three of my baby shower cakes and they always turned out better than I could imagine them. They were moist, flavorful and the decor detail was out of this world. I’m not having any more kids so no more shower cakes for me. Now I’m just sure to always order the birthday party cakes several months in advance to make sure they get me on their calendar since they mostly do wedding cakes.

Rick, from For Heaven’s Cake was so great to work with - very personable and was very flexible in his meeting time. He was very accommodating and took the time to really find out what type of cake we were looking for and ensured we were satisfied with our flavor selection. This cake was included in my venue. It was exactly how I wanted it to be. The flavor is absolutely delectable. I had gone cake tasting with a previous bride prior to my wedding and loved the flavor we picked out then so much that I picked it out for my wedding. You must try the cinnamon and cream cheese cake. They decorated the cake with a ribbon that matched my color scheme. They also decorated the cake with the plastic succulents that I provided and it was beautiful. The cake arrived on time and with no hassle.

Rick and his team did a phenomenal job on our wedding cake! Not only was Rick very easy to work with, he was also very intuitive to what we were looking for, and was very responsive to emails. And I can't forget to mention that our cake was beautiful and so yummy! At the end of the night when it was just close friends and family left, we just stood around the cake table with forks and finished off the bottom tier.

Rick did a fantastic job on our wedding cake! We gave him a photo we found of one and it was SPOT ON! The cake was gorgeous and tasted as good as it looked! I also like that they don't use any cake mix...they make it from scratch and you can taste the difference. I highly recommend!

I have used Rick and For Heaven's Cake for several family events - weddings, showers, etc. Each and every time, I am still amazed by his quality of work and ability to exceed my expectations. There are tons of great cake places in town but For Heavens Cake get's 5 stars on everything - the cakes are gorgeous, they taste phenomenal, and he will go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. I can't say enough good things about this vendor!!

We had Rick at For Heaven’s Cake do our wedding cake in April and I am so glad we did. Not only was the cake beautiful and exactly what we asked for, but it also tasted delicious, which is so rare to find in a wedding cake. Unlike other cake bakers, For Heaven’s Cake bakes your cakes close enough to your event that they do not have to freeze and then thaw the cake like most cake bakers have to do. Our cake was so fresh and moist the guests ate up almost all of it! I highly recommend For Heaven’s Cake and will definitely use them again.

I couldn't be happier with For Heaven's Cake. We had a white Cake with bavarian cream for the wedding cake and red velvet with cream cheese icing for the grooms cake. Not only were the cakes beautiful but the taste was amazing. We had so many compliments on the cake. Also, Rick really helped us design the grooms cake. I wanted the Texans Toro logo and gave him some ideas of what we liked and he went with it and it came out beautiful! I would highly recommend For Heavens Cake!!

I don't know what more positive can be said for For Heavens Cake, Houston's best event cake makers. Rick and Ana will go out of their way to make sure you get exactly what you want, and then some! Our cake was a particular challenge--encompassing scenes from our favorite travel cities and serving as the centerpiece of one of the wildest weddings Houston has ever seen, for over 350 people (featuring mariachis, drag queens, stiltwalkers, confetti cannons, Hora Loca, etc.). Let's just say, the cake stole the show. People are still talking about it. When I look at thousands of pictures from the wedding posted by other attendees, the monumental cake Rick and Ana made is always the centerpiece. I think people took more pictures of the cake than they did of my husband Ricardo and me!! We couldn't be happier--we have used their tremendous cakes at many other events, and people always congratulate us on not only having the best looking cake, but also the best tasting one. Thanks to For Heavens Cake--there's just not a better baker in Houston for big events.

I brought in pictures of what I wanted and everything came out just as I had asked for. I also made several changes after the initial consultation and they were all updated and delivered as requested. The groom’s cakes were spectacular, however we wanted to stay in budget so they worked with us and gave us a cake with an image printout on it which came out just perfect as well! Very nice professional people with high quality cakes!

Per my new husband, "I can't put it into words, just phenomenal". We gave them a picture of my husbands grill and that is what we wanted the grooms cake to look like. They nailed it. We were very pleased with both cakes but the grooms cake stole the show.

Rick from For Heaven's Cake was WONDERFUL! After several frustrating cake consultations he made this very simple for me. The cake was delicious and moist and the cheesecake filling is something I'm craving right now!

He was very friendly and professional helping me stay within my budget.

Richard, with For Heaven's Cake, was great. My fiance and I went in, discussed ideas with him, and about 45 minutes later we had two designs for our cakes! The whole process was easy and fun, and I highly recommend them! The cakes were DELICIOUS!!

The cakes that we had on our wedding day were delicious! For the wedding cake we a had white cake with Bavarian filling and buttercream icing which the decorating details were beautiful and elegant swirls just as requested. Then the grooms cake was chocolate cake with chocolate mousse filing and buttercream and fondant icing that was designed like a bucket of beers with a Houston Texans Toro logo on the bucket with rock candy ice and actual empty mini bottles of beers to complete this awesome cake. They were truly awesome at making our cakes a masterpiece to display at the wedding. We were excited to be able to get the cakes we wanted & eat them too!

For Heaven's Cake did an absolutely amazing job crafting a vegan vanilla cake with bavarian cream filling for our wedding. We wanted a very classic "butter"cream three tier white cake, and it just completely blew me away. The guests couldn't believe it was vegan, and many said it was the best cake they'd ever had. We're going to order birthday cakes from them from now on!! Way to go!!

For Heavens Cake did an amazing job on our wedding cake as well as our grooms cake!! My husband has a 1984 Chevy Truck and the grooms cake looked JUST like it, I was shocked when I saw how good it looked (so good he didn't want to cut it)!!! Not to mention, both cakes tasted amazing as well!! Customer service is great as well, never had any issues getting in touch with them and very responsive and professional with all of our needs and questions.

We used For Heavens Cake through our package at Lindsay Lakes. The cakes were not only beautiful, but delicious! They were able to create a very unique groom's cake for us, and everything on the bride's cake was exactly as we had discussed also. They do wonderful work, and I would highly recommend.

Our cakes from For Heavens Cake were incredible. We had a lot of things go wrong on our wedding day and our cakes were one of the few things that were perfect. They were beautiful and tasted incredible. We are looking forward to eating the top tier on our anniversary. Thank you rick! We couldn't be happier.

Our wedding cake and Grooms cake turned out wonderful!!! I showed them a picture from Pinterest of my DREAM cake and they had no problem re-creating it!!! It was BEAUTIFUL!!! I also just described what I was looking for in the Grooms Cake and they had no problem creating exactly what we wanted. The cake tasting was a lot of fun.. lots of good choices and they have a huge portfolio for you to check out.

Oh my goodness. I can't say enough good things about Rick and his team. The cakes were so amazing people are still talking about them! And they were so beautifully done! We got a strawberry cake for the wedding cake. Normally I'm not a strawberry cake fan...at all...but this was out of the park. Absolutely delicious. I've never tasted anything like it! And the icing was sweet, but not overbearing. It was perfect! We got a very very chocolate cake for the groom's cake and it was sooooo good! The decorations on both were exactly what we asked for and they were so beautiful! I couldn't be happier with the decision to use For Heaven's Cake and I would recommend them in the future!

For Heavens Cake did a great job with our wedding cakes - we had a groom's cake done in the shape of a baseball hat which everyone loved. Our wedding cake was so good. Our cake vendor was included in our wedding package at Lindsay Lakes and i was beyond satisfied with what we received. Our cake was beautiful and exactly what we wanted. We paid a small upgrade fee for 2 flavors of wedding cake and our guests raved about how delicious the cake was. I also rented a cake riser that added some pizzaz to our cake table. Would recommend them not just for wedding cakes but any special occasion. the cake is delicious, fresh and great service!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the cake they did for us! I brought in a picture from pintrest where the bridal and grooms cake were all in one split down the middle. There were elements of my picture I loved and some I wanted nothing to do with. They listened to everything I had to say, drew a picture and it was perfect! I have never liked Red Velvet cake... IT WAS THE MAIN FLAVOR FOR MY CAKE BECAUSE IT WAS SO GOOD! The only thing I would have liked to change was the serving size for the tasting. I brought myself, my fiance and my MOH to the cake tasting and we were served one small peice of each flavor which made it a little difficult for some of the tastings. They were all delicious though and i would recommend these guys to everyone.

Yummy!!!! We went with the rasberry filled cake for the wedding cake and oh my goodness it was delicious and exactly as we remembered it when we went in for a tasting. They were very helpful and patience with us changing our minds a lot. The groom's cake was red velvet and again, wonderful. I would highly recommend them for a delicious moist cake!

I ordered a 5 layer cake for my wedding from this vendor.

Previously, I had been to 3 other places that were exceptionally expensive for the design and taste that I wanted.

For Heavens Cake was the only wedding cake provider that I visited where I felt welcomed, and like a person and not like a wallet.

I came in, told them what I wanted and that was it. They did it, answered my questions and we rarely spoke after that. SO easy! They arrived on time and set up my cake at the venue.

Seriously, I could not have asked for such an easier vendor to work with.

The cake was delicious and all of the flavors and fillings they provided--quality!

Rick did an amazing job on both of our wedding cakes! I wanted a more modern look to mine and that is definitely what I got! He actually said that this was one of the first cakes he's ever done like this. My husband, on the other hand, wanted a groom cake that resembled one of this hobbies. Beer. He asked Rick to create his cake to look like a 12-pack of Miller Lite. It looked so real! Overall, we were very impressed with our cakes and would highly recommend going with For Heaven's Cake!! (:

Our wedding was June 27th, 2013 and we picked For Heaven's Cake to make our wedding cake. All we had to do was give them any picture of a cake we had in mind and they took care of the rest, it was so easy. The cake did not last long at the wedding. Everyone ate it up so quickly which told me it was just that good. They did a great job on the cake and really impressed us!

I can's believe the awesome job that For Heavens Cake did....I had an issue with the bakery that I was originally going to go with and at the last minute Heavens Cake came through. I can't say enough how impressed we were with For Heavens Cake. The most talked about thing at our reception was the Groom's Cake. Books are a very big theme in both my husband and I's lives, so we opted to have a semi-book themed wedding. Along that vein, the grooms cake was 3 of our favorite books stacked atop each other (with a different flavor cake for each layer). When we asked for the design, we pictured 3 generic books, and just wanted the name of our favorite book spelled out on top. When we ordered the cake though, they wanted to know the names of all 3 books. Then, they actually went out and looked up the cover art, and duplicated it on the cake. It was awesome. And it tasted delicious too.

Also, my husband and some of his family has a gluten (wheat) intolerance, so we were worried about finding a cake place that could accommodate us. For Heaven's Cake made 2 SUPER delicious cakes for us and didn't bat an eye at meeting the dietary restrictions. They also supplied Cake Pops for our rehearsal dinner, which were amazing as well.

We had a very good experience with For Heavens Cake, and not only would I recommend them to a friend, but I plan to return to them if I need any more cakes for a special function in the future.

My cake was outstanding and so was the grooms cake since my husband is in the coast guard they made a 3D cake that matched his last boat to a Tee. And they tasted absolutely amazing.

A month after our wedding we are still hearing from guests about how impressive my husband's groom cake turned out. Rick prepared his cake to look like a tennis shoe since my husband likes to collect them. The cake was not only delicious but also look exactly like the picture my husband provided Rick as an example. The cake was truly unique to my husband and Rick made that happen!

I am still in awe as to how rediculously beautiful my wedding cake was! I can't stop looking at pictures of my cake. I was unable to find what I wanted in magazines so I simply told Rick and Ana what I envisioned and they showed up on my wedding day with a masterpiece - exactly what I wanted. I ordered lemon cake with lemon filling, carrot cake, and Italian cream for the flavors. I purchased some pearl and crystal brooches and gave them to Rick to be added to the design and he did a fantastic job accommodating this request. For Heaven's Cake also offers beautiful ornate cake stands as an option and it completed the look of my cake. It added even more height and sophistication to my cake. I told Rick and Ana how many tiers I wanted and they figured out how big each tier had to be. I ordered extra cake because I wanted a bunch of cake to-go for my BBQ the next day, and my family ended up eating their fill for two entire days! For Heaven's Cake is a must if you want your guests to enjoy delicious cake that is beautiful as well, which is very difficult to achieve. Hopefully I can stop looking at my cake pictures soon, but I will definetly cherish the memory of my cake forever. Thank you Rick and Ana!

The best cake ever! Rick and his team really outdid themselves with our cakes! They were so delicious, and were so very beautiful. I am absolutely amazed at how beautiful my cake was. For Heaven's cake did such an amazing job at executing my vision. I had a 4 layer cake and chose to do a different flavor for each layer. It was absolutely delicious. I chose to have chocolate, amaretto with raspberry, pineapple with blueberry mouse filling, and red velvet for my keepsake layer. Surprisingly, everyone's favorite was the pineapple with blueberry mouse filling, it went the fastest and needless to say that was the only layer I didn't not have any leftover from after the wedding. I absolutely recommend For Heaven's Cake for any brides wedding because they are so great to work with and are will to bring your vision to light.

For Heavans cake is very talented at what they do. I sat down with Rick in January and he whipped up a drawing of exactly what I was describing to him. He was great with responding to emails when I had questions and made a change to the grooms cake. When I went in the veue on the day of the wedding I was so excited to see the cakes, they turned out amazing and tasted great as well. I would use them again in a heartbeat. My cake table was beautiful because of them :)

Our cakes looked and tasted spectacular! Rick is very responsive and creative! He made our groom's cake into an airplane and it looked so cool! I would say that I wish there was more cake to go around. Our servers cut the cake in too big of pieces, so not every guest was able to get a piece of cake even though we had rounded up when figuring out how much cake we would need. Rick and his wife transported our cake for us, which was really nice. Also, they have really reasonable prices that fit our budget!

I contracted Rick (owner of For Heaven's Cake) to do both my wedding cake and the groom's cake. He was very professional and understood exactly what we wanted especially for the groom's cake without having to explain over and over again. Both cakes were hits and we got lots of compliments from our guests. Some guests told us that they usually do not like eating wedding cakes but they loved our cakes as they were awesome and tasteful. He also gave us a discount for our cakes and delivered the cakes on time. I would recommend For Heavens Cake to any bride.

My name is Faith and I got married March 10th 2012. I have to say that I am not a avid reviewer, but in this case i felt it necessary as I can't show enough gratitude to "For Heavens Cake" especially the Owner Rick and his Wife. I am from Houston but Live in London with my English Husband. Living in England has left me stranded in the wedding Vendor Department. Booking a wedding is hard enough, but try doing it thousands of miles away! I never read any reviews from this Bakery beforehand, I just stumbled on it through theknot.com. I found their website was incredibly helpful and Ricks Response was almost instant. You would be surprised how many Cake Websites do not even list flavors on their websites. After weeks of blind searching online I booked a ticket to Houston to meet with 4 of the leading Cake Bakers in Houston. No where did I get the service that Rick gave me. He used to do Graphic Design so he was very helpful in my cake. I wanted a three tier cake that had the silhouette of the Houston Skyline, and London Skyline. When I showed him my sketches he noticed that the Houston one was outdated! ATTENTION TO DETAIL!!!!
Right then I knew he was the only man for the job. I put my complete trust in Rick and his wife. The Cake was delivered on time and the price was fair! They do everything by themselves so no worrying that a sub vendor might get lost or drop your cake! I absolutely cried when I saw my cake. He made what could have been easily been made to look like a children's Birthday cake into a Elegant piece of art art for my wedding!

I believe all these bad reviews are just written by Bridezillas! I asked Rick about them and he had no problem explaining each and every problem and how it was rectified.

The Taste! Oh My Goodness I'm not even a fan of cake and I could not stop eating it! We had Top Tier Amaretto with Amaretto Icing. 2nd Tier Butter Cake with Cheesecake Frosting, Bottom Tier. Bridal White with Cream Cheese Icing. The Amaretto did not stand a chance that was the first to go, along with the Cheesecake. We ordered way to much and I had the idea to put to go boxes on the cake stand. WHAT A GOOD IDEA! Every Guest took home 5-6 slices!! At the Morning after breakfast everyone skipped the bacon and eggs and went straight for the Cake!!! My Husband ate 5 Slices before 11am! Another Must know about this bakery is that the Fondant is made by Rick. and OH MY GOODNESS It's the first time I have liked Fondant! It taste like buttercream. No one peeled it off! He is also amazing at making buttercream look like Fondant! It was soooo smooth you could never tell it was buttercream!

I'm leaving some not so good reviews for other vendors but I can not in good conscience say one bad thing about this bakery. The showroom is beautiful, the cakes are amazing, the price is fair and the Owners are kind. Rick will pull over in his truck to talk to you when you are having a Freak out!

As with all of our vendors, we invested significant effort in selecting our wedding cake for our big day. We poured through reviews, narrowed the field down to 3 shops, and went on a mission to taste as much of their cakes as possible. Without hesitation, we hired For Heaven's Cake for their personal attention to our needs, their reasonably priced options, their creativity in customizing cakes to reflect our personality, and finally for the taste/freshness of their cake. Amazing, amazing, amazing...and did I say amazing? Our cakes were beautiful, fresh, and done exactly to our specifications. Meeting with the vendor was super easy, and convenient since we live close by.

At our initial tasting, they had several samples available to try, and we were able to choose the one we liked the most. My husband was also able to select a groom's cake design that TOTALLY reflected his personality.

On the day of the wedding, when we had our first bite of cake, we both were so pleased at the quality of the cakes. They tasted even better than our initial tasting!

Kudos to both Rick and Ana, and we would not hesitate to use their services in the future!

We ordered 8 2-tiered cakes to be used as the centerpieces for each of our tables. We designed the cakes ourselves and they delivered the cakes and set them up to our specifications. Not only were they exactly what we envisioned but the taste was beyond delicious! It was a pleasure working with them and they were very accommodating!

For Heavens Cake did our grooms cake for our wedding in October and it came out GREAT! I wanted to surprise my husband with a TN Titans helmet cake and it seriously looked EXACTLY like the helmet. It was SO realistic and the cake... omg the cake was top notch. They were very polite, had no issues at all, very organized and very talented. Recommend to everyone! A+!!

For Heavens Cake was wonderful. THey called, set up a meeting, we met with them and picked out a cake and was DONE!! This was by far the easiest vendor we met with throughout the entire wedding process. I had so many compliments on how wonderful not only the way it looked but how good they were! I had many pictures taken of the grooms cake becuase it was a ice chest with a trout hanging out! Everyone got a kick out of that since my husband is a big fisher. I just want to thank For Heavens Cake for making my cake decisions so easy. They gave us exactly what we wanted and they were at the venue looking un-touched! Would def. recommend them to ANYONE!!! Rick Ballard was so easy to work with and was one of my favorite vendors for my daughter's wedding this past June. Rick traveled to a location in our area of town to discuss cake details. He brought samples for us to taste. He made notes of details that we requested on the cake. His prices are budget friendly. He would quickly respond to all of my emails and the cake arrived in time and looked beautiful and tasted wonderful. What more can you ask for!

Overall they did a good job for me. they gave me what i asked for using only my ideas and my requests and a pic of my wedding dress. they did the best they could with what i gave them. i should have been given some feedback on the final touches of my cake...But the Groom's cake was fabulous!! My husband wanted a 1965 mustang gt red with stripes. and that's what he got!!! Great job.

Helped in a pinch, was delicious!

This vendor allowed me and my (now) husband to do a tasting ONE WEEK before our wedding. We were in a bit of a pinch and they pulled us out of it. We went with the strawberry cake - which yielded so many compliments!!! It was sooooo great. And the cake was beautiful. Thank you so much!

We got cupcakes for our wedding cake with a top tier. The cake was delicious, and the baker did everything we asked for down to the cups the cakes were baked in. It was quick and easy and they delivered it to the venue.

After having a poor experience with a different baker, my venue, Lindsay Lakes, recommended For Heaven's Cake. Rick took care of everything on our first visit and we didn't have to do anything past that. He let us taste everything they had that day and worked with us to choose the perfect flavors. He showed us a million pictures and showed us examples of the sizes so we knew what we were getting.
He was excited to work with us and it showed.
My husband had a grooms cake of the UT tower that everyone loved! It was pretty good even though I don't like the longhorns, I have to admit it was a great-looking replica.
My wedding cake was even better! The color was beautiful and the designs were great. The best part was that the cake was so delicious, our friends were still eating it 3 days later! I'm glad Lindsay Lakes recommended them.

We won a two tiered cake at a bridal show. They were so friendly and attentive to our wants, even though we did not have to pay for the cake. To our pleasant surprise, the cake tasted delicious and showed creativity for the Alice and Wonderland feel we wanted. Thank you again!

My husband and I ended up in a bit of a bind when our caterer for both our food and cake fell through. My husband (fiancé at the time) researched vendors who were not terribly far from our venue in Hockley, TX and he came across For Heavens Cake. We were a month away from our wedding with no cake, and Rick responded via email same day as our inquiry and we had an appointment the same week. Rick listened to what we were looking for in a cake and offered helpful suggestions on size and design. We invited over 130, but only 84 confirmed by RSVP, so Rick set us up with a 3 tiered cake for 100 people to have 2 flavors. He also encouraged me to send him photos from my Pinterest for inspiration as I wanted a detailed lace pattern on the middle tier. While we enjoyed very generous portions of cake samples, Rick sketched out our cake design. It was exactly what we had been envisioning and we booked that day. Half of the cost was due upon booking as a deposit and the remainder was due in full two weeks prior to the event. Due to our hectic work schedules, both my husband and I were unable to make it down to the shop for our final payment. I called Rick and he took care of it over the phone and I had an email minutes later. On our wedding day, Rick quietly snuck in and delivered the cake himself and I did not even have the opportunity to thank him for his work! We loved our cake and everyone who had a piece complimented on how delicious and moist the cake was. Overall, the cost is very reasonable for a wedding cake, the service is great, and you get your money's worth. Highly recommend for any and all Houston couples!

The wedding cake and groom cake were moist, tasty and beautiful. I asked that they include a hulk peeking out from under the cake and paid extra for it - Hulk didn't look like Hulk at all and it wasn't well done but hey - it was the thought that counted. Hubby didn't know I was adding that touch for him. The groom cake was fondant and it wasn't that well rolled but I didn't notice that the day of the wedding. It's very noticeable in the pictures where there are gaps in the icing and finger prints. BUT as you can see from the rating - we were happy and the cakes were still beautiful and tasty.

For Heaven's cakes was amazing, My fiance and I canceled an order with our original baker because of unprofessionalism. I contacted Rick when I found him on the knot and and he gave me a quote through email on what I descrided to him I wanted. My Husband and I made an appointment to meet with Rick at his store front location and were amazed by the cake displays as soon as we walked in. Rick was amazing we got taste tests on flavors that we requested. I decided to switch the cake I wanted and brought him a picture of the groom cake and the Wedding cake. I chose a 3 tier wedding cake with the bottom tier being chocolate with FRESH strawberry filling and the top 2 teirs being white cake with a rasberry filling. the grooms cake had extreme detail and was a red velvet cake with cream cheese filling and chocolate icing.

When the cakes were delivered to the reception, my bridesmaids went and took a picture of them for me to see, they were perfect they matched the picture exactly to the tuxedo chocolate covered strawberries on the Groom's cake.

Everyone was dying to taste the cakes when they saw them. The flavors were amazing!!!! the chocolate with fresh strawberry filling was absolutely to die for!! Rick did an amazing job.

I was completely and totaly impressed with the quality and craftsmanship of For Heaven's Cakes. I recieved gourmet cakes for my wedding at reasonable prices. If you want good cake at a good price and the quality to go along with that then i suggest you use For Heaven's Cakes they were amazing!!

For heavens cake did our engagment party and wedding cakes. I was amazed at the detail and time put into the cake. They are very flexible considering i changed my mind like 3 times and are very helpful. I was 100% satisfied with their services they provided for us. My husband and I ordered a grooms cake from For Heaven's Cake. The cost is much cheaper than other area bakeries. The staff was very responsive, polite and caring throughout the whole planning process. I heard great things about our Red Velvet / Cream Cheese selection (though I never got to sample the cake!) We were a bit disappointed with the overall design of our cake however. We requested a 3D armadillo, and the end product looked more like a huge oval cake with a head & claws stuck in on dowell rods. That said, we had a separate vendor for our bridal cake that we could not get out of contract for - but were able to select For Heaven's Cake for the grooms cake at the very least. I made the decision because of how rude the other vendor was, and I do not regret this decision. For Heaven's Cake's service made up for the overall quality of design, and I'd just suggest better communication on your wants/needs before hand... ictures/sketches, etc. so that expectations are met. The quality of cake in terms of cake was excellent (so I hear).

The wedding cake was extremely moist and fresh. We could tell that it baked fresh and not frozen which was important. We chose a three tier cake and it was absolutely stunning! We were not at all disappointed.
