Our wedding planner mainly communicated with Flowers Make Scents and to be honest, I didn’t really have an idea or look I was really wanting. I just had the wedding colors and said “boho-chic” and even with that little information, they created stunning pieces and had the perfect color + flower breed combo made to fit our special day. Everything was absolutely beautiful. -

Our flowers were gorgeous for our January wedding! The utilized my color scheme for our wedding well and added pops of blush pink that really went well with everything else. We had a large piece for the arch, chair decorations, an arrangement over our welcome sign, boutonnieres, corsages for the moms, bouquets, and flowers for our cake. -

We had a great experience and Shari was so wonderful to work with! The whole team was wonderful and our flowers were absolutely stunning ❤️ I got to go in the day before and look at them and add some things, and the day of they looked better than I imagined! Flowers Make Scents came recommended by a friend whose wedding flowers were also gorgeous, so their quality is very consistent. I would definitely recommend them! -

Flowers Make Scents was by far the best floral vendor we have ever worked with. My husband and I were married in October 2021 in Prince George, VA. I met with Shari during the planning process and she made me feel so welcomed and excited for our big day. She walked me through each option that she could provide and made it known that no detail would go unnoticed. She took all of my ideas and responded to each of my questions about the floral arrangements, as well as offering some sage advice about the wedding floral design process. I am not exactly well-versed in florals, but Shari took the time to listen to my vision. She routinely asked for images of my vision and even allowed my bridesmaid and I to preview the flowers prior to the wedding day, just in case I wanted to make any last minute adjustments. To say that these floral arrangements are stunning would be an understatement. Flowers Make Scents went above and beyond all of my expectations and truly made my dream come to life. Thank you so much Shari and all the Flowers Make Scents team for playing such an integral part of our wedding day. To all those brides out there looking for stunning floral arrangements and a team that will make all of your floral dreams come true, then look no further than Flowers Make Scents. -

Amazing experience!
Flowers Make Scents was an amazing business to work with! Shari was so kind and had the most creative ideas! The whole team brought my vision to life perfectly! I found Flowers Make Scents through a recommendation list from our venue and I am so thankful for them! They made the wedding planning process so easy and personalized. I met with the wedding planner Shari two times and she created my dream wedding flowers just through looking at example photos! They even let me come in on the Thursday before the wedding and see the work that they had done! The photos speak for themselves! -

FMS did a wonderful job with the flowers for my daughter's recent wedding. They added their design expertise to her photos ideas and the resulting arrangements were gorgeous. Highly recommend! -

Shari was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end! Because I was living out of town during the initial stages of my wedding planning and was unable to visit her in person, Shari set up a FaceTime call for our initial consultation. She was not only helpful with floral my arrangements but gave great feedback and recommendations for decor rentals and other vendors that she believed could help bring my entire wedding vision to life. She was very patient and flexible as my wants and needs changed and updated my proposal without hesitation. Wedding flowers can definitely add up but Shari did a great job helping me stay within my budget while still having the wedding of my dreams! -

The flowers at my wedding were above my expectations! I work with Sherri for months updating my order. She even was able to make many of my Pinterest goals come true, including a 6 foot greenery arbor for out photo booth background. There were so many extra details that I didn’t even know about! This is a great company to work with! -

I absolutely loved working with Flowers Make Scents for my wedding. I told them a list of everything I could have possibly wanted and they gave me a quote on the spot and then adjusted that quote all the way up until the week of the wedding to accommodate my last minute ideas! I had gone to at least 3 other florists/wedding florists and Flowers Make Scents was the only vendor who I felt wasn't trying to make me max out my budget. They allowed me to come into the shop 2 days before the wedding to make sure everything was EXACTLY how I envisioned it and even though they got it perfect on the first try, I know they would have made any changes that I requested! I would highly recommend them to anyone getting married in the Richmond area! -

I highly recommend this vendor! I had to delay my purchase order due to my husband's health, but I was greeted warmly and remembered from previous meetings. The staff here really care of giving quality service, they are considerate, accommodating, the floral selections are crazy beautiful and unusual. I have used this vendor before and the purple roses lasted over two weeks, even after being in the heat! They know their business and I will be patroning them again. You can't go wrong with this company. -

Gorgeous Flowers!
Flowers Makes Scents did a fantastic job at our wedding! The bouquets and centerpieces were beautiful. The staff are extremely kind and were very helpful with all the planning. Their customer service was amazing as they accommodated our delivery location change due to rain without hesitation. They also took extra time to go back to the shop the day of to replace to centerpiece stands to ensure everything looked perfect. -

I used Flowers Make Scents for my wedding in November 2018. We had our consultation with Shari and from the get-go I knew she understood what I was looking for. She was helpful with coming up with the flowers and vision for our wedding, and very flexible when we got down to budget. She always worked within our scope. We met Al at a bridal show and loved his creativity and design and though Shari stayed on board to help facilitate, Al helped design everything for our big day. We got so many compliments on our unique floral arrangements. We loved how natural and charming it felt. So thankful for the team at Flowers Make Scents! -

The team at Flowers Make Scents are so friendly and inviting. During my first meeting with Shari, she truly made our vision come to life with everything we had described we wanted. She was so friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The pricing was even better than I expected. For the day of the wedding, it was the first time I had seen everything come together. . . I chose not to check everything prior and all I can say is WOW! I was blown away with all of the details and even the little extras thrown in. We couldn't have asked for a better florist. Thank you! -
