Shari was very responsive to us and sat down with us ahead of time to talk through and pick out the style for our wedding flowers. They were so beautiful and exceeded our expectations. Also were low cost for the high quality we received! I’d recommend them To anyone planning their wedding looking for beautiful flowers for their big day! -

Our wedding planner mainly communicated with Flowers Make Scents and to be honest, I didn’t really have an idea or look I was really wanting. I just had the wedding colors and said “boho-chic” and even with that little information, they created stunning pieces and had the perfect color + flower breed combo made to fit our special day. Everything was absolutely beautiful. -

Our flowers were gorgeous for our January wedding! The utilized my color scheme for our wedding well and added pops of blush pink that really went well with everything else. We had a large piece for the arch, chair decorations, an arrangement over our welcome sign, boutonnieres, corsages for the moms, bouquets, and flowers for our cake. -

We had a great experience and Shari was so wonderful to work with! The whole team was wonderful and our flowers were absolutely stunning ❤️ I got to go in the day before and look at them and add some things, and the day of they looked better than I imagined! Flowers Make Scents came recommended by a friend whose wedding flowers were also gorgeous, so their quality is very consistent. I would definitely recommend them! -

Flowers Make Scents was by far the best floral vendor we have ever worked with. My husband and I were married in October 2021 in Prince George, VA. I met with Shari during the planning process and she made me feel so welcomed and excited for our big day. She walked me through each option that she could provide and made it known that no detail would go unnoticed. She took all of my ideas and responded to each of my questions about the floral arrangements, as well as offering some sage advice about the wedding floral design process. I met with the wedding planner Shari two times and she created my dream wedding flowers just through looking at example photos! They even let me come in on the Thursday before the wedding and see the work that they had done! The photos speak for themselves! -

Shari was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end! Because I was living out of town during the initial stages of my wedding planning and was unable to visit her in person, Shari set up a FaceTime call for our initial consultation. She was not only helpful with floral my arrangements but gave great feedback and recommendations for decor rentals and other vendors that she believed could help bring my entire wedding vision to life. She was very patient and flexible as my wants and needs changed and updated my proposal without hesitation. Wedding flowers can definitely add up but Shari did a great job helping me stay within my budget while still having the wedding of my dreams! -

The flowers at my wedding were above my expectations! I work with Sherri for months updating my order. She even was able to make many of my Pinterest goals come true, including a 6 foot greenery arbor for out photo booth background. There were so many extra details that I didn’t even know about! I absolutely loved working with Flowers Make Scents for my wedding. I told them a list of everything I could have possibly wanted and they gave me a quote on the spot and then adjusted that quote all the way up until the week of the wedding to accommodate my last minute ideas! I had gone to at least 3 other florists/wedding florists and Flowers Make Scents was the only vendor who I felt wasn't trying to make me max out my budget. They allowed me to come into the shop 2 days before the wedding to make sure everything was EXACTLY how I envisioned it and even though they got it perfect on the first try, I know... -

I highly recommend this vendor! I had to delay my purchase order due to my husband's health, but I was greeted warmly and remembered from previous meetings. The staff here really care of giving quality service, they are considerate, accommodating, the floral selections are crazy beautiful and unusual. I have used this vendor before and the purple roses lasted over two weeks, even after being in the heat! They know their business and I will be patroning them again. You can't go wrong with this company. -

I used Flowers Make Scents for my wedding in November 2018. We had our consultation with Shari and from the get-go I knew she understood what I was looking for. She was helpful with coming up with the flowers and vision for our wedding, and very flexible when we got down to budget. She always worked within our scope. We met Al at a bridal show and loved his creativity and design and though Shari stayed on board to help facilitate, Al helped design everything for our big day. We got so many compliments on our unique floral arrangements. We loved how natural and charming it felt. So thankful for the team at Flowers Make Scents! -

The team at Flowers Make Scents are so friendly and inviting. During my first meeting with Shari, she truly made our vision come to life with everything we had described we wanted. She was so friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The pricing was even better than I expected. For the day of the wedding, it was the first time I had seen everything come together. . . I chose not to check everything prior and all I can say is WOW! I was blown away with all of the details and even the little extras thrown in. We couldn't have asked for a better florist. I have never been super into flowers, and I certainly am not one to know what I'm talking about when it comes to anything floral. Shari and I sat down and looked at some pictures and I mentioned things I thought were pretty and things I didn't like as much. She pulled flowers right then and there to give me an idea of what we could do. I thought what she did was gorgeous, and the pricing was super reasonable. I gave Shari very little direction, and she did an absolutely PHENOMENAL job. I got SO many compliments on my bouquet as well as all of the other flowers. A+ job! -

When I spoke to my friend she told me that they were actually very reasonable. She was right. Shari was beyond fair, honest, and reasonable. I showed her my "dream" florals and then discussed my actual budget. She found a way to make beautiful arrangements that were in my taste and price range. My wedding arrangements were BEAUTIFUL! Modern, elegant, and with the touch of bling that I wanted. She definitely delivered on her work. I asked her to make me 3 different arrangements, one large, one small, and one non floral. All of them were fabulous!... -

They delivered on time and kept in mind my idea of flowers from local gardeners. I couldn't believe how much the flowers looked to the pictures I had sent and what we had talked about in our appointments. We live a couple of hours away and they were so wonderful to work with and really accommodated to us, even from a distance. These guys do amazing work, I would and WILL recommend them to everyone! -

Loved working with Flowers Makes Scents!
I’m so grateful I found Flowers Makes Scents while searching for a floral vendor for my wedding! From the start, they were professional, responsive, and made this aspect of wedding planning completely stress-free. I wasn’t entirely sure what I wanted beyond a few color preferences, but after sharing a few inspiration photos, they truly brought my vision to life. The arrangements they created—based on just a few details—were absolutely stunning. I couldn’t have been happier with how everything turned out. I highly recommend them for your wedding florals! -
