Michelle and her team are truly the experts in all things flowers! Not only were her prices incredibly reasonable for wedding flowers, but they turned out even more beautiful than we had imagined they would be. Michelle took our ideas and needs set in meetings with her and exceeded our expectations. She was very clear from the beginning not only on pricing, but also on what she would or would not be able to do and additionally, was very flexible when we had to change things due to COVID. I also loved that we were supporting a small family owned local farm. Michelle did the delivery on our wedding day herself and everything went seamlessly, all bouquets and arrangements were exactly where they should have been and on time. Highly recommend Flowers From the Farm and we will be using them for our future floral needs! -

Dana was by far our favorite wedding vendor we worked with over the last year. Our very first phone call, and then our first meeting with her, we felt such great vibes and energy – she really understood our vision and wanted to make sure everything was extremely personalized for us. Dana grows her own gorgeous flowers and we were able to literally walk around her garden and pick out exactly what we wanted. She made our vision come to life and I was overwhelmed with how stunningly beautiful and personalized all her touches were. The day of the wedding, she went above and beyond to not only deliver our floral arrangements but also help us decorate the venue and make sure everything was perfect. All day I received DOZENS of compliments on my bouquet, the arrangements and details everywhere, and the centerpieces – everyone kept saying that they had never seen such unique and gorgeous flowers anywhere (especially those beige roses!!!!!), and I was so quick to tell everyone to book Flowers from the Farm!
She was so much more than just a florist – I feel like she is a friend now after all she helped us with and stood by us with! Through multiple changed dates, multiple changes venues, accommodating a new package and then a million little changes along the way…. I just can’t say enough great things about Dana.

Flowers from the farm was a pleasure to work with and the end result of the flowers that they put together were beyond my expectations! I can't say enough good things about them and their flexibility in the end when I ended up having a smaller ceremony/reception. I cannot wait to use them next year for the big celebration and reception! -

Down to Earth Flowers!
Michelle and her team at Flowers From the Farm were absolutely delightful to work with. From our first consultation, we knew we wanted to work with them, because they were down to earth, experienced, knowledgable and funny! They took our ideas and ran with them, making suggestions that would work with our budget and colors, and bringing in new ideas that took the design to the next level of beauty, simplicity and practicality. They weren't afraid to let us know if something we suggested wasn't going to stay fresh or look right. But they always had alternative ideas to suggest based on their many years of experience. They allowed us to supply our own eclectic collection of jars, and they mixed and matched to make everything look perfectly casual and put-together. Michelle put us at ease throughout the whole process, making this important element of our wedding design extremely fun and low-maintenance! We couldn't be happier. -

Booking a florist for my wedding was a worrisome to-do because I feared the costs I would be quoted to get the beautiful arrangements plastered all over Pinterest. However, I took a leap of faith and was referred to Flowers from the Farm... and may I say it was one of the best decisions I ever made!
From our first meeting with Michelle I knew that she would be able to make my dreams come true. Her personality and larger-than-life smile made the experience an unforgettable one. A service that I absolutely loved was the ability to have a trial run of our flowers before the event. Being able to see what had been discussed in person made the decision process so much easier. It also allowed for some reality checks because the flowers I had requested were quite expensive per stem. Michelle sensed my unhappiness and quickly suggested other flowers that would not only better suit my modest budget but would still allow me to have the look I was going for.
When the flowers arrived on the big day, I cried. They were so beautiful that I was speechless. Michelle and her talented team did such an amazing job! -

Flowers from the Farm was a great choice! They were incredibly flexible and willing to work with me given my budget. I didn’t have a very specific vision but Michelle helped me narrow down what I liked and ended up creating beautiful arrangements! They were very easy to work with, did not pressure me into spending more than I wanted, and were very responsive and transparent. I was late in planning flowers (booked this only a few months before our big day) and they had no problem accommodating! I definitely recommend! -

Perfect, perfect, perfect
Michelle was a dream to work with. Her work was beautiful, very reasonably priced, and held up beautifully in a very hot May wedding. She delivered and set everything up with plenty of time to spare, and I even was able to walk around and see everything before my guests were even close to coming. -

Amazing wedding flowers
Michelle and Flowers from the Farm were incredible to work with. I gave very little direction- really just colors and an overall style- and she somehow knew exactly what I wanted. She created mock centerpieces and bouquets (as part of our package) which was incredible helpful since I'm much more of a visual person when it comes to flowers. Michelle worked with me over email to finalize all details and tweak last minute things. On the day of the wedding everything looked beautiful and exactly what I envisioned. -

My husband and I know nothing about flowers, but Michelle was able to understand our vision and what we were looking for 100%. When I saw all of my floral arrangements the day of the wedding I was blown away! The quality of the flowers are top notch! Michelle is very fair in prices and is willing to work with your budget. All of my bridal party loved their bouquets and we received many compliments about how gorgeous our centerpieces and floral decor was. Thank you Michelle for being so easy to work with and for making my ceremony and reception look so stunning!!! I highly recommend Flowers from the Farm!!!!! -

Kaitlyn Sent on 06/06/2018Flowers From The Farm created the most phenomenal cascading bridal bouquet packed full with blush and cream roses and pink and white peonies galore for my wedding last weekend. They also made nine blush rose boutonnières for my groom, groomsmen, pastor, best man and a mini version for my little ring-bearer. The flowers are still perfectly in tact, despite being tossed around and withstanding the humidity and heat of the outdoor photos all day long. The bouquet was a million pounds (as I expected it would be with so many flowers), but it was so well-constructed that I never felt like I was losing my grip. So many brides I know have had their cascading bouquets collapse mid-day because of the weight, but mine was incredibly sturdy. Michelle is the coolest and greatest mix of personable and down to earth and entirely professional. She knows her flowers! She made my vision not only come to life, but completely exceeded my expectations. I am SO thrilled. Also, compared to other florists I had inquired with; FFTM's pricing is unbelievably reasonable. They delivered EARLY to my venue the morning of my wedding to avoid last minute stress. This made my life as a bride so much easier because if I couldn't control anything else that day; at least I knew I could trust my flowers were in great hands. Huge recommend! -

Jenna Sent on 12/06/2017Michelle and the crew at Flowers from the Farm are hands down the best florist! Michelle worked with me to help me figure out which direction I wanted to go with. While I got swept away with all the Pinterest posts, she helped create something more in my budget! She has a lot of patience too! I don't know flowers, so she had photos ready to go to help me envision the bouquets. She made it so easy! For my November 12, 2017 wedding, I knew I wanted a pretty fall colored arrangement, and boy did she deliver! She arrived day of, hand delivered and set up everything. She went above and beyond. (...and it's almost a month since the big day, and my bouquet is still hanging on! as well as a few hydrangeas from the ceremony)
You will not be disappointed with Flowers from the Farm! -

Between speaking on the phone with Michelle for the first time and meeting her in person at their farm, I felt like I had made a new best friend. She was so incredibly easy to talk to, understood exactly the vision I had and ambiance I wanted to display at our wedding (and I have very limited knowledge and understanding of flowers) and made me feel so at ease and confident that I left our first meeting knowing everything would come out perfectly. Not only did it come out perfect, but Michelle went above and beyond. Our bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, and arrangements for our wedding arch were simply the most stunning floral arrangements I have ever seen. She created EXACTLY what I had dreamt of for my wedding. From the colors, to the specific flowers chosen, to the accent pieces, to the style, I could go on and on and on. She even incorporated personal touches (even an additional one the day OF the wedding when she delivered everything) to my bouquet. Everything was simply amazing. Finally, I had a very tight budget, and Flowers from the Farm made sure to make that work. it is mind blowing to me that ALL of this came at such an affordable price. You will not find such quality for such an affordable price anywhere else. Michelle is SUCH a pleasure to work with, and hands down just a fabulous human being. Michelle got everything right and on the day of the wedding she personally dropped off the flowers to me and to the venue and even made another trip back. My bouquet was absolutely stunning and I’ve already got questions about who we used so friends can use her. Amazing!

User890496 Sent on 08/06/2012I was extremely happy with my choice about Flowers from the Farm for my wedding flowers. At my first meeting I knew I wanted to book them. I love that it is a family business and you can feel the love when you enter the room. I brought pictures of what I was looking for and they were honest about pricing and gave me other ideas that were similar for less money. The flowers were gorgeous! I was so happy with them. We had white hydrangea's on the table that lasted two weeks after the wedding! The pricing is extremely reasonable and the experienced florists even made beautiful arrangements for the cocktail hour tables for a great price.
I highly recommend flowers from the farm in hamden! -

Initially, I met with two lovely women there and discussed my wedding guest size, my budget, showed them pictures of my dress, and looked through tons of flower books rating what I liked. Then, we discussed what could be done in my price range to get what I wanted. Of all the Florists I met with (and there were many), this was the last one I went to, because they had the best price and the best service. There was no compromising for my budget, and they went out of their way to save me money, suggesting ways to make the centerpieces seem larger, etc. They delivered the flowers to my reception venue, and my bouquet of white orchids with the purply pink centers was BEAUTIFUL. I was so thrilled with them. I will use them again for any of my future florist needs.
