Wedding florals of my dreams
When everyone asked me what I was most excited for in the wedding planning process, I admitted over and over again it was planning for the florals. We found Flowers by Stem through our planners at Naturally Yours Events, and we are so glad we did Stephanie made my visions for a lush, fresh spring wedding come to life. When our test centerpieces did not come out quite as we hoped, she quickly tweaked and even improved upon our original plan. The bouquets, chuppah, and floral and candle-lit centerpieces exceeded my vision board dreams. Stephanie's team also did all of our lighting and pipe and drape, and we were amazed by how much skill and manpower Flowers by Stem brought before and after our event. -

I have nothing but great things to say about Flowers by Stem! We recently used Stephanie and her team for our 200 person wedding. Stephanie was amazing and extremely helpful throughout all of the wedding craziness! If I ever had a question throughout the process her response time was unmatched. She provided multiple options for us and ways to save costs including constructing a beautiful faux flower wall for our ceremony backdrop which later turned into the photo backdrop for guests. Our wedding looked like a straight fairytale because of Flowers by Stem and we are forever grateful! -

Flowers by Stem perfectly mastered the romantic, classic, and fall vibe we were hoping for with our wedding florals. Stephanie is truly an artist and worked from day 1 to make sure that everything was absolutely perfect and aligning with the aesthetic vision we had in mind for our wedding. The bridal bouquet was stunning (featuring my favorite, a king protea) and the bridesmaid bouquets were beautifully complimentary! I cried when I saw the floral pillars for the ceremony and they were beautifully repurposed for the reception. Stephanie was able to work with our budget to create every detail we wanted, including touches like flowers in our own vases for cocktail hour, a floral accent on the entry sign, and a beautiful cascade of flowers on our wedding cake. I cannot recommend her enough!! -

The most BEAUTIFUL wedding flowers!
My husband and I hired Flowers by Stem for our October 2020 wedding... which turned into a June 2021 wedding! Stephanie was very personable, professional, and responsive. When I first met with Stephanie, she really listened to what I liked and her proposal perfectly actualized what I had been envisioning for our wedding day. She has very creative ideas and an amazing eye for color and texture! When we had to postpone our wedding, Stephanie was very understanding and worked with me to transition our original fall color scheme/plan to a beautiful, bright spring color scheme. My bouquet was truly the most beautiful wedding bouquet I have ever seen (though I may be biased)! The centerpieces and greenery she arranged for our reception tables were stunning and perfectly complemented the venue and the season. Our family members were even smitten with their beautiful corsages and boutonnieres! We cannot recommend Stephanie and Flowers by Stem highly enough! -

Stephanie was great – I have absolutely zero complaints about her or her service. I heard about her through a friend and when I reached out to her, she got back to me right away. We met in person and she helped me outline my vision. Honestly, I did not know what kind of vision I had, and Stephanie really guided me through the entire process. She was so professional, respectful, and gave the most wonderful suggestions. I felt great after our initial consultation. Shortly thereafter she sent me a quote and it was within the budget I gave her with everything that I had asked for. We even added fresh flowers to the cake about two weeks before the wedding and Stephanie added them with no problem. On the day of the wedding she was prompt and efficient. She answered any and all questions that anyone had for her and even took the time to pin the flowers on every male! She was very easy to work with, no nonsense, and executed our vision effortlessly – I highly recommend! -

Flowers by Stem made our wedding day pure magic. It's hard to describe what exactly we envisioned for our special day and I'm not sure I articulated the precise style and feel we wanted. But Stephanie delivered! She took what I did know I wanted, amplified that vision and brought it to life. She and her amazing staff transformed the space with her flowers. When I saw my bouquet, I cried. She even included a very special flower my grandmother brought from her garden last minute. Planning weddings are ridiculously stressful, but in looking back, Flowers by Stem brought an ease and joy to the process. I can not thank them enough. -
Gretchen Sent on 06/16/2018Stephanie with Flowers by Stem is just lovely! We worked with her for our June wedding florals. Right from the beginning, Stephanie was warm and attentive. She listened carefully to my requests to create a beautiful vision of the day. Throughout the process, she was extremely accomodating as I tweaked a few items and made various requests. Creating your vision is her absolute goal and she provides valuable design advice. When the flowers were delivered before the ceremony, I actually cried because they were so beautiful. They were everything I could have dreamed of and more. Her design went above and beyond! I received so many compliments from my bridesmaids and guests about the flower arrangements. This included an amazing hanging fixture at the reception that was the cherry on top! I loved working with Stephanie. She was kind, communicative and totally knowledgable. I would absolutely recommend working with her! You will not be disappointed in your choice.

Meghan Sent on 06/03/2018I used flowers by stem for my wedding this past May. Stephanie does incredible work. She not only helped me stay within my budget for our wedding flowers, but also helped us source orchids for centerpieces that we assembled ourselves. And provided advice along the way to make sure the flowers stayed as fresh as possible.
From the beginning, Stephanie was great at helping me form my vision and the flowers turned out absolutely incredible! -

With a little over a month before our wedding, we decided to reach out to Flowers by Stem. From the initial conversation to the final execution, everything was flawless. During the process, we felt that Flowers by Stem was really working to understand our exact vision and provide us with everything we wanted, and they certainly executed it to perfection! The details in the centerpiece did not go unnoticed and with a full runner of greens and votives, it didn’t overwhelm the table. Our boutonnieres and corsage with simple in design and beautiful in execution. Lastly, we didn’t want the bouquets to overshadow those carrying them and at the end of the day, they were subtle, but people couldn’t stop talking about them. Every detail of our wedding, with respect to Flowers by Stem, was thoughtful, of high quality and truly perfection! -
Stevie Sent on 09/25/2017This was a really hard review for me to write because I thought the initial customer service was fantastic, the flowers were absolutely beautiful, but the quality was terrible and response after the fact wasn't great either. Unfortunately, if I had to do it all again, I'd probably look elsewhere.
PROS:
- I didn't know what I wanted. Stephanie helped me figure out my vision and created it beautifully.
-She also helped work within my budget
-The flowers were absolutely gorgeous
-Customer Service was reliable and timely. She usually got back to me within 1 day.
- I received exactly what I wanted on time
CONS:
- The quality of the flowers was not up to expectation, especially in my bridal bouquet. Flowers were delivered at 2pm, were wilting by 3:30, and had completely drooped by the time of the ceremony at 6pm. By that point, one of the dahlias had fallen off completely, several flowers had to be strategically supported by fingers as I walked down the aisle. They were completely beyond repair by 7:30 pm when I could put them in water (5 1/2 hours after delivery).
- 2 out of 3 of our father boutonnieres fell apart while being pinned on, before any pictures or ceremony. They had to be "put back together" with corsage and safety pins (5 stars for my emergency kit!)
-When I gave feedback to Stephanie regarding the issue, I was told wilting was normal, especially on a hot day. It was not hot (only 65 degrees), and the flowers were wilting before we even stepped foot outdoors. If I spend $185 on a bridal bouquet, it should last until my ceremony. I tried explaining that this was not normal, and received no response. Seemed like once the event was over / check was cashed, customer service was over too. -
