My dream florist come true! Old hollywood glam wedding
We got married last Saturday at 5:55pm on the Full Moon! A magical day all around because Sam gave me the dream florals I have always wanted. It was not an easy task. I wanted orchids and sustainably sourced ostrich feathers and so many little touches of beauty that are hard to get right now due to distribution and stock. From his first email that was loaded with ideas before he was even hired to our first phone call where he put me at ease to his continuous positive can-do attitude, we cannot say enough positive things about Sam and his amazing team! It's a week later and my florals are still rocking it in my home and my guests homes. They were unbelievably beautiful, classy, elegant and soft at the wedding and still are! The perfect design for our Old Hollywood Glam wedding. We put our complete trust in him because the proof is in his pictures. TALENTED. JUST TRUST HIM with your hopes, dreams and money lol. Sam was such a good sport, and easy to work with.
It was a dream to work with Sam on the most important day of my life. He is so professional and easy to get along with. One of the easiest vendors I worked with and he totally understoood what vibe I was going for. The flowers were beautiful! Thank you Sam for everything, a day i'll never forget. -

Sam and his team are such a pleasure to work with. After our initial meeting, I literally did not have to think about flowers again. He took the vision I had in my head and manifested it above and beyond anything I had envisioned (and kept it within my budget to boot)!
My bridal bouquet was magnificent and even though it was 108 degrees in Los Angeles on my wedding day, my bouquet looked fabulous from start to finish. It actually lasted 2 weeks in a vase at home as well!
The table was beautifully set, and Sam even provided all of the candles and vases so I didn’t have to figure out what to do with 100 tea light candles after the event lol.
If you are looking for a florist, I can wholeheartedly recommend Flowers by Sam as a professional, efficient and easy to work with florist. -

Sam went above and beyond for our winter wedding. Everything was so beautiful, I am still in awe! His creativity is endless and he brought my vision to life, all while sticking to our budget. I would recommend him 1000x times over. -

Sam is was wonderful to work with! Very professional, accommodating, and really took the time to listen to what we wanted.
The flowers and the arch he provided were more than I had envisioned! He was also extremely reasonably priced for what we needed! I cannot say enough about Sam and how perfect all of my flowers were! He was exceptional! I highly recommend Flowers by Sam! -

There are flowers at a wedding and then there's Flowers by Sam. Sam is not a florist. Sam is an ARTIST. Beyond that, somehow Sam has unlocked the secrets to floral alchemy and is able to conjure poetry from the blooms. His flowers not only complement the wedding venue...they tell the story. In our case, the marigold-accented altar arrangements, bouquets, centerpieces, and garlands he created for my husband's and my November wedding at San Gabriel Mission regaled the guests in a fairy tale. The flowers were joyful, gentle, and romantic. The restaurant smelled like heaven. Sam is warm, professional, and an absolute delight to work with! -

Since I put myself in contact with a bunch of florist around my area they respond me immediately but we didn't have an actual connection. With Sam was totally different, even we haven't had the opportunity to meet in person he was responsive and understand my vision. I'm a Pinterest bride and my own coordinator, so I have a lot in my plate right now with all the details, but I just have to send him some inspirational pictures for him to recreated a dream for me and the best HE IS BUDGET FRIENDLY! Can't wait to get the final result on 02.2020 :) -

Working with Sam was amazingly easy. He turned our vision for the wedding into a reality. Sam was quick to answer emails and provided great feedback in regards to questions, pricing, and flower choices. He was willing to meet and set our minds at ease for what he planned to do. I really appreciated that he first started out by asking what our budget was and did not first paint a picture to let it crumble once we would have realized it was far from budget. We absolutely loved how everything turned out. Thanks Sam!!!! -

From just a few photos, Sam created serious magic. The flowers were everything I wanted and so much more. Everyone commented on them, how unique they were and wanted to take them home! We loved working with Sam and wouldn't have changed a thing. -
Jeff Sent on 10/16/2017We met Sam at a Bridal Expo at the LA Convention Center. His display immediately stood out as far superior to all the other florists there. We started talking and found a him a most gregarious and charming man. My now husband and I are designers with a high level of expectation. From the start, Sam delivered. We met him on the last Sunday of the Expo and exchanged contact info. He followed up the very next day, Monday, with a phone call and offered to meet us at our home to discuss our vision for our wedding. He totally understood our design aesthetic and vision for our wedding. We hired him without reservation and in the next few days found emails and texts with ideas and suggestions, he was very proactive. A couple of weeks later, we changed our minds as to the room/table layout and the original floral design was scrapped and he made the changes without any hesitation or change in cost.
The day of our wedding he showed up to install the garlanding and table arrangements that were spectacular. We were so very pleased at the uniqueness and quality of his designs, Sam and his assistant Janet are Rock Stars.
If you are planning your wedding now, Flowers by Sam should be your first and only call.

He took time listening to us, neither my husband nor I are knowledgeable about flowers so he paid attention to the colors and styles we were drawn to. He created stunning centerpieces, bouquets, and boutonnieres along with vines for around our arch (where we got married under) and flowers for the cake!! He was excellent at taking our vision (though it wasn't know to us) and creating something truly perfect! Thank you, thank you!! -

From the beginning Sam was great - we met at the venue before the wedding to go over what I wanted - he took pictures and measurements so he knew what space he had to work with. I sent him pictures of flowers I liked and he totally nailed the entire wedding!!! I still get compliments from people at the wedding about what an awesome job he did. All of my bridesmaids have dried their bouquets as a keepsake for the wedding. Sam will always be our "go-to" florist! He won't be able to get rid of us! -

Jenn Sent on 12/12/2012Sam was the best stress reducer a bride could ask for! Anytime I emailed him with a question or idea, his responses were in my inbox the next day. He was extremely accommodating and would meet my (now) husband and I at a location near our home which was incredibly helpful when you have multiple wedding appointments on the weekends. I was a stress case about my flowers for some reason (seriously, flower nightmares and all) and he helped ease my mind by doing a mock-up and allowing me to make any changes that I wanted right before the wedding. His knowledge of flowers is amazing and he was incredibly conscious of our budget. The moment I saw my bouquet I fell in love and was even more enamored when I saw my reception room!! We ended up spending a little bit more than originally planned on our florals but in the end it was completely worth it and we would definitely recommend Flowers by Sam. -

Cara Sent on 11/18/2012I met Sam at the Long Beach Bridal Expo. He caught my eye because of the beautiful variety of flowers he used in his pieces. Not your typical "roses and baby's breath" bouquet. He has a very unique aesthetic and had the most beautiful bouquets I had seen!
Sam listened to everything I thought I wanted (which was all over the board) and helped me create my vision. He sent me examples of flowers he thought would work, past pieces he'd created, and the day of my wedding, came into the room with the most beautiful bouquet I could have asked for! The mothers' corsages and the boutineers were perfect, too!
He worked with my budget and was extremely patient as I teetered back and forth with what I wanted.
I had such a great experience! -

Flowers by Sam was one of the vendors available with my venue, Pomona Valley Mining Company. My package included centerpieces; I also ordered bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres and some flowers for the sweetheart table area. Sam was easy to talk to and had an organized and straightforward process for booking. On the day of, Sam came through and even passed by the hotel to make sure I had by flowers for pictures before heading off to the church. The centerpieces were absolutely breathtaking! -
