Flowers By Liz is Awesome!
Liz took the time to see our vision when we started out very vague with what we wanted for our wedding. She gave us knowledge on flowers and communicated great (no waiting forever for answers, etc). She was professional but also made us feel super comfortable. We live local and got to see her home garden which was beautiful. She takes pride in what she does and it shows!! Delivery was flawless and everything was set up perfectly. I highly recommend Flowers by Liz for a seamless process! -

May 2023 Wedding
Liz was recommended through family with such great reviews. Once I met her, I understood why. She works from her beautiful home and makes you feel like family. She is extremely nice and really knows what she is talking about! Everything about the process with our wedding flowers was such a breeze and everything was perfect! Liz is such a pleasure to work with! I had some much fun sitting down with her and discussing my ideas. She is very flexible and willing to work with your budget to give you the most for your money and she did not disappoint in any aspect!!! Our flowers were gorgeous and she made the room feel so warm and inviting with the tablescapes!! We also had a broken arch that she moved from the ceremony to the reception. Our of all of our vendors, Liz was our #1. 10/10 I would recommend her to anyone looking for flowers. -

Creative Genius & Amazing to Work With
Liz is INCREDIBLE! First of all, she is so kind and easy to work with. Our flowers were gorgeous, lush, and absolutely show stopping! Liz understands a brides vision and sources the most beautiful flowers. Every detail was perfection and what I pictured for the big day. I was first attracted to Liz because she has her own flower farm in her backyard! I loved the idea of sourcing flowers locally to be more sustainable and to showcase flowers that were naturally blooming on Long Island in the summertime at our wedding. While planning in 2021 and 2022, I met with a few different florists and they all told me the same thing: there's a flower supply chain issue right now due to issues in South and central America, and that flowers were very expensive at the time. Liz had some built-in flexibility with her backyard flower farm which allowed me to keep the price within my budget. HOWEVER, she could only do this because my vision was somewhat flexible, in that I knew I wanted certain colors and textures in the floral arrangements but not specific flowers (with the exception of a few dahlias in my bridal bouquet, which she was able to include in the most important arrangement, my bridal bouquet). Moreover, she was able to accept my budget as it was, and work with me to help make my vision come alive while giving tips on where I could save money. She was the first florist that recommended repurposing two large arrangements placed in front of the arbor where we got married to the fire place/mantle behind the bride and grooms table. Another example: she suggested decorating the bridge and groom table with the bridesmaid bouquets instead of ordering additional floral arrangements. These ideas helped me stay within budget while achieve the look I wanted and decorating everything in a simple yet adequate way. She also has pieces for renting so you don't have to buy everything, which was nice (we rented some bud vases for cocktail hour and the two stands that the arbor and mantle arrangements sat on). She was also happy to use bud vases that my mom had! We were married at the Old Field Club in Setauket, and she was familiar, which also made everything easier. When I asked, she gave her two-sense about picking certain vases or stands to put arrangements on based on my style and the aesthetic of the venue. Everything was perfectly arranged when we got there the day-of. Another example of her working closely with me is that I had wanted a string of ribbon for my bouquet. I bought a bunch online and brought it to her house during wedding week, and she helped me pick what went best with my bouquet! All in all, I was SO happy with the flowers,. They were truly so beautiful. I took so many photos with my bouquet because I did not want to put it down. And we received SO many compliments from guests on how beautiful and creative they were. Wedding in June
We found Flowers by Liz, by accident actaully. She took my vision for my wedding and amplified it. The flowers were stunning, service was amazing. It was really refreshing to work with Liz.
My reception was an ombre style with color and the ceremony was in all white flowers. Absolutely stunning. -

As soon as I stumbled across Liz's Instagram, I knew that I wanted to work with her. There are a lot of options out there when searching for vendors but small businesses have a home in my heart and I knew I wanted to support small before ever even finding Liz. From the jump, she was very adamant about making sure she made time to understand what my vision was for my wedding so that she could make it happen, and she did! It was all perfect. I wanted simple, and she was able to pull it off so elegantly. I would highly recommend. -

My experience with Liz was absolutely wonderful!
Working with Liz was an absolute pleasure! She did flowers for my sisters wedding many years ago and I loved her arrangements so much that I decided to go with her. Her prices were very reasonable and she saw my vision. I didn’t even really have to do much, I just had to tell her the colors and what I was looking for.
