Liz made beautiful florals for the wedding - I got endless complements on the bouquet. She was able to craft timeless floral arrangements for the tables and tent with flowers that matched our color scheme and used hydrangeas, our favorite local flower. Liz was a delight to work with! She took the time to understand our vision and brought to life the romantic soft palate of pink pastels for our late summer wedding. She went to great lengths to find the flower varieties we were hoping for and made the most of seasonal blooms for the freshest and fullest arrangements. She worked impeccably with the venue, was timely in dropping the bouquets and boutonnieres off at our get-ready location, and outdid herself with the most classically beautiful centerpieces. The consultation with her was very helpful to sample bouquet sizes and styles, finding display vessels that were suited to our venue, and thinking through special touches of flowers on our cake and a hair piece for the mother of the groom. We were so grateful to have had Liz's talent and experience to make our wedding a day we will always remember!

Flowers By Liz is Awesome!
Liz took the time to see our vision when we started out very vague with what we wanted for our wedding. She gave us knowledge on flowers and communicated great (no waiting forever for answers, etc). She was professional but also made us feel super comfortable. We live local and got to see her home garden which was beautiful. She takes pride in what she does and it shows!! As soon as I stumbled across Liz's Instagram, I knew that I wanted to work with her. There are a lot of options out there when searching for vendors but small businesses have a home in my heart and I knew I wanted to support small before ever even finding Liz. Highly recommend Flowers by Liz!!
I was first attracted to Liz because she has her own flower farm in her backyard! I loved the idea of sourcing flowers locally to be more sustainable and to showcase flowers that were naturally blooming on Long Island in the summertime at our wedding. While planning in 2021 and 2022, I met with a few different florists and they all told me the same thing: there's a flower supply chain issue right now due to issues in South and central America, and that flowers were very expensive at the time. Liz had some built-in flexibility with her backyard flower farm which allowed me to keep the price within my budget. HOWEVER, she could only do this because my vision was somewhat flexible, in that I knew I wanted certain colors and textures in the floral arrangements but not specific flowers (with the exception of a few dahlias in my bridal bouquet, which she was able to include in the most important arrangement, my bridal bouquet). Moreover, she was able to accept my budget as it was, and work with me to help make my vision come alive while giving tips on where I could save money. She was the first florist that recommended repurposing two large arrangements placed in front of the arbor where we got married to the fire place/mantle behind the bride and grooms table. Another example: she suggested decorating the bridge and groom table with the bridesmaid bouquets instead of ordering additional floral arrangements. These ideas helped me stay within budget while achieve the look I wanted and decorating everything in a simple yet adequate way. She also has pieces for renting so you don't have to buy everything, which was nice (we rented some bud vases for cocktail hour and the two stands that the arbor and mantle arrangements sat on). She was also happy to use bud vases that my mom had! We were married at the Old Field Club in Setauket, and she was familiar, which also made everything easier. When I asked, she gave her two-sense about picking certain vases or stands to put arrangements on based on my style and the aesthetic of the venue. Everything was perfectly arranged when we got there the day-of. Another example of her working closely with me is that I had wanted a string of ribbon for my bouquet. I bought a bunch online and brought it to her house during wedding week, and she helped me pick what went best with my bouquet! All in all, I was SO happy with the flowers,. They were truly so beautiful. I took so many photos with my bouquet because I did not want to put it down. And we received SO many compliments from guests on how beautiful and creative they were. Liz made my wedding floral dreams come true! Honestly, I had no idea what I wanted when we first met to discuss it. She showed me so many options, according to the very few ideas I had and she gave me great advice. Liz was so easy to work with, always answered my texts, emails, calls right away! She would send me photos of test runs and different flower options when she was looking at her selections. Liz captured my personality and style through her design
I knew Liz was my florist of choice from the moment I pulled up to her beautiful home. Liz grows most of her flowers in her backyard and sells bouquets by the roadside via an "honor system." This in and of itself says a lot about the wonderful person she is. I did not have a very specific vision the first time I met with Liz. I had met with other florists previously and felt as though I was being pushed into a cookie cutter type of wedding planning process, which is far from what I wanted. I knew that I wanted to keep things fairly simple and had a few ideas. Liz built off of my ideas and showed me real-life examples from her (extensive) collection of past-wedding photos. I truly felt she understood me and my personality just from spending an hour or so with me. By growing many of her flowers at her home, she adds a very personal touch and can also keep her costs competitive compared to other florists in the area. On my second visit with Liz, she offered to take my mother and I on a quick tour of her gardens. Seeing where the magic happens made it feel all the more special. Liz informed me that I could stop by for a sneak peek the day before the wedding, to which I happily obliged. I was blown away by the beauty of her work and it put me at ease (and made me so excited!) for the big day. Liz arrived promptly to the venue and swiftly set up for the event - she made it very stress-free for me. Not only is she extremely talented, she is a kind-hearted person and you can tell that she is passionate and cares a ton about her brides. I would recommend her to any bride and I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Thank you Liz for everything!

Flowers by Liz is hands down the best florist choice for any special day. You sit down and work with Liz directly, and on set up day you get both Liz and an assitant. Liz couldn’t have been more helpful in our planning process. My fiance and I didn’t know much about arrangements or flowers, but from speaking and meeting with Liz, we not only learned a few things, we also came to find exactly what we were looking for. Liz’s passion and love of flowers is almost contagious and it shows in her work. These are more passion projects than contracts she has to fill. Liz took our wedding and look to a whole other level and we couldn’t have been happier. One of my favorite memories of my wedding is the incredible flowers that Liz put together. Every detail from the gorgeous bouquets to the ivy hanging from my signs were just perfect. Liz did an incredible job with the flowers for our wedding. It is clear that flowers are Liz's passion- this is not just a job for her. I was not specific with what I wanted, yet Liz came up with arrangements and a floral arch that blew away my expectations. On top of all of that, her prices are very reasonable! Liz was an absolute pleasure to work with! Every request/change was always a breeze with her. She was extremely accommodating and so easy going. I was so not an “I’ve planned my wedding my whole life” type bride so for me getting my visions across wasn’t easy. I showed Liz just a couple of pictures and described what I was looking for and she just seemed to get it. I was a little nervous seeing as I had to just trust that she really got me and when the day of arrived she did NOT disappoint with anything. EVERY single detail was just perfect! My bouquet was exactly what I wanted, the table arrangements (all different sizes and heights, which is what I wanted) were beautiful! Everyone was raving about what a gorgeous job the florist did.
To top off the amazingly beautiful job Liz did and her wonderful service she was so reasonably priced! She wasn’t like most of these florists that hear wedding and automatically jack up their prices to unreasonable amounts.
She has a beautiful garden/greenhouse on her homes property where she does all of her work. I was lucky enough to meet with her and see her space when her garden was in full bloom!
I would recommend Flowers by Liz a million times over for whatever your special event may be!

I heard of Liz through word of mouth from a friend.My husband and I used Liz for our wedding in April 2017 and every little detail was perfect! Her work was beautiful, communication was amazing, and her ability to find the best options all while keeping us within our budget was very impressive. Unlike many girls/women i know, I was not one of those little girls who dreamed about my wedding and had it planned out from age 5. I needed a lot of help once the planning process came, and Liz was there for every step of the way! She was so extremely helpful in deciding which arrangements and colors would fit our barn/rustic wedding theme perfectly, and she made everything look like a dream. The arrangements and bouquets were so beautiful that a prospective bride came to view our venue the day after our wedding and asked for our florist's name and took photos of the arrangements. Our flowers were one my favorite parts of our wedding day. Liz did an amazing job of capturing the look I wanted while staying within an affordable budget. Throughout the planning process she was very responsive and helpful. We provided our own collection of bottles and jars to use as vases and she took great care of everything. I was confident that everything would look great, but it turned out even better than I had envisioned! My bouquet lasted quite a while and I wish I could fill my home with Liz’s flowers every day!

Liz is truly artist. She went above and beyond to work help us make our budget work. All of her designs were amazing and looked beautiful. Our ceremony sight was very plain and did not have an arch, but she brought one in and decorated for us for a price that was less than half of the price that other florists quoted. Out of all my vendors for my wedding Liz was ABSOLUTELY my favorite. I came to her with very specific ideas and a very specific budget. She was great at explaining what flowers were good options for the time of year and costs. She spent a lot of time working with me and met with me several times to make sure I was happy. WHAT CAN'T I SAY ABOUT THIS AMAZING VENDOR??? Liz was referred to me by my Day of Coordinator, and the second I met her I felt like we had been friends for years. Liz is a sweet and spunky woman, full of life and passion for what she does. I went in with a slight idea of what I wanted, and that was "completely non-traditional". I told her that I didn't want to spend a ton of money for flowers/ I wanted all of the flowers to look like it came out of a garden/ bouquets to be thin and light/ boutineers to be wrapped in twine/ every bridesmaid and groomsman must have an original design (none alike). Then she said …" Ok… let's start with you, what do YOU want to hold?" and in that moment I realized that I never even thought of that. (!!) So she took me in her backyard through her amazing huge garden and I pointed out things that I like, and she pointed out ones that she suggested, and we came inside and made a list of all who needed some flowers, and then I said … "ok… HAVE FUN! Create whatever you want!" The only thing that I put my 2 cents in was that I wanted the centerpieces to be in 30" long wooden boxes that I had purchased from Home Depot. I dropped them off to her and let her do her thing.
When Liz showed up the day of the wedding with everything in tow… I almost fell over. perfection. PERFECTION!!!!! Every single thing that I had said in words, she produced in reality. There was nothing that she fell short on. The centerpieces knocked the wind out of me… in fact over 2 months later I still have one sitting on my kitchen table all dried up, because it is STILL beautiful! I received the photos back from the photographer and screech every time I see a close up of any of them… I never thought I would be that girl who went nuts over flowers! But Liz is magical… she is a master at this and I will recommend her to EVERYONE!

For our wedding, we chose not to have a bridal party, as it was a small winery wedding. Even so, I wanted a bouquet, and had my heart set on a certain (difficult) color/flower type. Liz was very honest and professional when it came to the pricing and style I wanted. However, with this, she also was very quick, willing, and able to work with me to ensure that I received what I wanted in a manner that was affordable and still y "dream" flower. I knew what I wanted throughout the whole 2.5 year engagement. Liz put together a beautiful bouquet with the flower color and type of my choice (Burgudy Calla Lillies) and it was BEAUTIFUL. Perfect for winery wedding we had.

As soon as we met Liz, we knew our floral shopping was complete. Prior to meeting her, I had met and spoken to several florists, and while they had enough experience with weddings, they didn’t seem to have a real passion for flowers and event planning. Liz was interested in our event, excited about what kind of flowers we can use and very helpful in capturing the essence of our vision as soon as we started describing what we wanted.
Since our wedding was a fusion of two different cultures and religions, this added a challenge to planning. Being a Hindu-Jewish (HinJew) couple means having to really be culturally competent and respectful of so many aspects of the ceremony and reception. Liz did just that, she worked with our families requests and reminded us constantly about how wonderful this event would be and how we should have fun with the planning. Her support and guidance was so important in this process.
If that wasn’t enough, Liz’s best quality…being genuine. As most couples nowadays, we were on a budget, and in no way during our meetings did we feel judged or lectured about what we should be spending. She understood and gave us so many options. On the day of the wedding Liz was there on time and rolled with any small issues that came up with professionalism and grace. Our flowers were gorgeous, our chuppah/mandap was beautiful and the floral centerpieces looked flawless. We got so many compliments on the flowers and my bouquet! We want to thank you for all the hard work it really was amazing!

Liz is amazing at what she does. You can tell how much she loves her job. I met her months and months before my wedding, and instantly knew I wanted her to do our flowers. I had a VERY specific budget planned for flowers and she came under it by a few dollars, while achieving exactly what I wanted. I did not know what kind of flowers I wanted (Ok, I don't know the names of even more than like 3 flowers haha) and Liz had endless patience and showed me tons of pictures to select what would look best. She is honest about what she thinks will work and look good. When I saw my bridesmaids bouquets the morning of our wedding, I was blown away by how pretty they were. They complimented the dresses perfectly! I was obsessed with my own boutique and never wanted to put it down. I am so happy to have chosen Flowers By Liz for my wedding :) Liz was wonderful to work with & was able to make my ideas a reality and even better than I imagined! I had real peacocks at my reception, so I wanted to incorporate the many peacock feathers my grandma had collected for me as a gift into my wedding flower arrangements. I gave the feathers to Liz and she succeeded in delightful peacock feather embellished arrangements. I also was happy to have my favorite lavender as part of my bride bouquet . She even was able to put heather into my sister's maid of honor bouquet, as my sister's name is Heather ;). My favorite by far was how Liz completely surpassed my expectations of what flower girl bouquets could be. I saw an adorable pompom shaped flower girl bouquet pictured on her great website. I knew I wanted that type immediately. Then I thought it would be awesome to somehow create double pompom cheerleader bouquets as one of my flower girls is a cheerleader. Liz jumped at the chance to get creative & made such fun pompom bouquets out of ribbons and tulle with flowers and peacock feathers mixed in. Such a cool look & all the guests remember those unique bouquets ;)!!!!!! And to think Liz grows the majority of her flowers herself just makes her even more amazing and talented !!!

I had visited three florists before her and she had asked me questions that I had never even considered being important until she asked them. The other three florists didn't ask these questions. Like, how many flowers do you want in your center pieces. How big would you like your bouquet, your bridesmaid's bouquets, etc? She worked within my budget and gave me advice with things beyond just the flowers. I felt comfortable with her and would recommend her to any bride without reservation. She even sells fresh bouquets in front of her house on the honor system. I absolutely loved her and loved working with her.

Liz is a GENIUS! She worked so hard on our Tim Burton gothic wedding and the result just blew everyone away! She was available for consultations( e-mail and in person) and a mock up and made sure she was putting together EXACTLY what we envisioned. The whole evening, guests were flooding us with compliments on all of the arrangements, from the trees we had on our tables to the ceremony walk way to the bridal bouquets. Liz is just amazing at what she does and is so friendly and personable, you'll feel like you have a friend working your wedding the entire time. Thank you Liz, your magic touch really made our wedding better than we could have ever dreamed!

She was flexible with me when it came to sticking to my budget. She had lots of ideas for how I could get the most bang for my buck and she did a lovely job. Liz has YEARS of experience, and it shows in her beautiful and budget-friendly work.

Liz did an amazing job for my wedding. White roses and blue hydrangea. She set up our gazebo beautifully. An we had gorgeous center pieces with sea glass. Very fair in pricing and so enjoyable to work with. A wonderful and talented woman!

I went to Liz with a specific budget and she made my wedding happen WELL beyond what I expected! everything was so fresh and beatiful it was more than I could imagine! She was very responsive and professional and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone!

Liz was a pleasure to work with! Our first meeting was rather overwhelming with the amount of options and all of her books to go through, but she helped guide us in the right direction. She dropped off the bouquets and boutinerres at the hotel for me on her way to set up at the venue. Everything was absolutely beautiful! I never would have thought to use a blue orchid and now I couldn't imagine using anything else! Thanks Liz!!

Liz was the nicest florsit we met with. She was a doll. She wasn't like a car sales man, like all the other florists we went to. Her prices were fair and the flowers the day of my wedding were fresh and absolutely beautiful!

Flowers By Liz was amazing! Liz had such great ideas and took the time to explain everything in detail. Her price was consistent from when I booked with her to my wedding day. She did not pressure me into anything I didn't want and worked with the ideas and colors I wanted. She even made a mock centerpiece a few days before my wedding for me to come and see. I have recommended her to everyone I know!

Liz was INCREDIBLE to work with! First of all she is extremely talented and her passion in the field is very apparent. She was very accommodating with our several changes. Liz let us come a couple days early to get a sneak peek at the bouquets. I knew from that moment on out wedding was going to be so beautiful and elegant! I highly recommend Liz's services!

Let me comment on each category...
Quality of Service? I could not be happier honestly!! Our flowers were incredibly healthy! They held up all day and night. The colors vibrant and my pictures looked gorgeous!
Responsiveness? Awesome! Liz got back to my every email and phone call the same day or early the next morning!
Professionalism? WOW! Liz knows so much about every flower and was able to redirect me towards the flowers that would best suit my colors with the time of the year..
Value? Flowers by Liz were extremely reasonable! I was under budget and not at all missing a detail.
Flexibility? There pretty much wasn't a time Liz could not accomodate.. As a matter of fact the day of my wedding I told her to come at the wrong time. When I called her to tell her she responded with "I am on my way"! She was there an hour before she thought she needed to be and arrived in 20 minutes..I live 20 minutes away! She really was immediately on her way!!
I will never go to another florist for any of my floral needs! Liz so hospitable and kind! Love her!

I couldn't ask for a better Florist for my wedding. I came to Liz without a clue of what I wanted for my flowers. She spent hours helping me figure out my arrangements and I couldn't imagine going anywhere else. The day of the wedding she showed up on time and set up everything quickly.
She will work with your buget and get you what your looking for.

I'm so thrilled that Liz was a part of my wedding planning. She did an excellent job and was very professional and knowledgeable. It was very easy to communicate w/her about my tastes and wants for the look of my wedding. She did an amazing job and many people asked me and commented on the centerpieces she did. She , also, assisted w/ decorating the cake w/ the vineyard grape theme I wanted and that came out beautifully, as well. I would recommend her to anyone for any occasion.

Liz was absolutely wonderful. I had no idea what I wanted as far as centerpieces and bouquets and after getting to know me a bit and me describing a little bit of what I like, Liz knew what I wanted! She took care of all the little details I wanted, down to the little flower tucked into the napkin with the menu. I told her my budget and she stayed within it... a must for a bride that has to pay for most of her own wedding. She was professional, on time and everything we talked about was done on the day of the wedding. I didn't have to worry at all. I would highly recommend Flowers by Liz.

Liz was extremely professional and answered any questions I had any time of the day. I had a black and white wedding and I wanted to have red roses for my bridesmaids. Her roses were incredibly beautiful and I received compliments all night on how beautiful they made my bridesmaids look. Liz is creative and never made any decisions without asking if I approved. It was fabulous having someone I could trust and know that she was the one vendor I had no stress over. She made wedding planning fun and her prices couldn't have been more affordable. I would recommend her to everyone!

To any bride out there looking for a GREAT florist "Liz" is it!!!! She was so amazing, and listened to every detail. I was so laid back about all my wedding planning except for the flowers, and Liz went above, and beyond what I could of imagined. She was also a pleasure to work with. I had a certain budget I had to stick to which I am sure many other brides also have, but I assure you that Liz can make a beautiful floral arrangement on any budget. After being let down by the florist I originally booked as they where telling me just about every flower I choose was not available for the fall season not only did Liz have every flower I wanted, but she also took all my ideas and the end product was just stunning. I am so HAPPY I have this opportunity to commend her on a job WELL DONE!!! I HIGHLY HIGHLY RECCOMEND HER, and as a matter of fact I have lot's of times....

Flowers by Liz did an amazing job for my wedding this past July!! The flower bouquetes turned out beautiful and they looked better than I could have even hoped! I also had a flower in my hair provided by Liz and it lasted all day through VERY hot weather, tons of pictures, and a whole night of dancing! I was amazed to see that the flower still looked perfect by the end of the night. I would, without any reservation, recommend Flowers by Liz to others!

Amazing job from begining to end. Liz was fun to work with and she was very patient when at the last minute I changed almost every detail. All the bouquets were full and gorgous. She really loves what she does and it shows in her attitude as well as in the flowers.

Liz was the best!! I gave her my colors and my budget and everything came out better then I could have ever imagined!! She told me about mantles and fireplaces in my venue that I didn't no existed. When I went back to the venue 2 days later all of the flowers where still displayed. She was such a great help and I would recommend her to everyone!!

Liz was recommended to me by 3 different people and now I can see why. She was willing to spend several hours with me picking out different flowers within my budget. My flowers weren't the typical red roses, I wanted a tropical theme as my bridesmaids were wearing tangerine, fushia and aqua. Liz matched all of their dresses to the T! The centerpieces and my boquet were equally as beautiful--so many people asked me, "Oh my god who did your flowers? They are so beautiful!" Liz is a wiz! :o)

Liz was great to work with! Our flowers turned out so beautifully we couldn't have asked for better. We knew our color scheme but wasn't sure of what flowers we exactly wanted, and being the end of October less flowers are locally available. We first went to a local bridal florist who is known for keeping the prices down, but they didn't understand our vision and just wanted to sell us their typical decor. After meeting with Liz and showing her pictures of styles we liked she guided us on what would work best and we really couldn't have been happier. We'd definitely suggest her to couples for their wedding day.

Liz interpreted our vision exactly as described. We wanted a garden-y rustic organic look with neutral and blush tones. We had to be a little creative in order to work within budget but boy did the bouquets come out amazing. They belong in a brides magazine for rustic chic weddings! At first I was super excited to work with Liz for my wedding because she was so creative and gave good guidance. When I told her what kinds of flowers I liked, she let me know which were expensive and what would be a good substitute (dahlias that she had locally rather than gardenias) and suggested good accents when I was getting too uniform.
However she was also rather scattered and unorganized. We decided one 1 plan for delivery of the bottles I was providing for vases, then two days before the wedding she changed her mind, and when she saw some challenges in her new plan expected me back at her shop the day before the wedding to help fix it.
She's also rather affordable, but surprised me with an increased charge within a few days of the wedding. Her payment schedule is in thirds, the second installment of which I made about a month before the wedding, and at which point she didn't say anything to indicate the price would go up. Then a couple of days before the wedding she suddenly charged me about 20% more.
It was super frustrating to deal with those completely avoidable problems just a couple of days before the wedding and indicates that she's quite unprofessional. I would to recommend her.
