  The Most Stunning Florals!

  Oh my gosh, what to even write. Working with Davida was an absolute dream and I legitimately miss the process! When you work with her you know that you're working with a floral designer, not just a florist. We worked with Davida on our wedding florals for a year and a half and it was an absolutely flawless experience. From the first call, I knew that she was the vendor for us.
  
  Davida sent us a detailed floral proposal after our call which outlined the vision we were going for. She welcomed our creativity, was always kind, professional, and timely with communication, and was just an all-around dream to work with. We had a mock-up a few months before our wedding which was helpful in figuring out what things would look like on the day of, and when I emailed a month and a half out from the wedding asking to change the color scheme of our reception (we had two different color palettes for ceremony and reception), she was game and didn't make me feel like a burden for this change. We also had her make a floral lapel for our flower man and it turned out so gorgeous!
  
  The result of working with her was absolutely STUNNING florals! Our guests have been gushing about them and have stated that our florals live "rent free" in their minds and that the florals were "heaven." I shared our photos with one of my professors who plans luxury events in NYC and she said our floral designer was "outstanding." All of these compliments and sentiments are compeltely true. We had the floral decor of our absolute dreams and I cannot stop looking at pictures.
  
  Davida brought absolute magic to our decor and wedding day, and we are so thankful! Hire her - you won't be disappointed!

  Stunning Florals & Creative Collaborator

  We absolutely loved working with Davida at Flowers by Lady Buggs for our wedding! As a same-sex couple, it was important to us that our vendors were queer-affirming. It’s also important to us to spend our money with small businesses, and the fact that Flowers by Lady Buggs is a small, POC- and woman-owned business meant we were aligning our spending with our values.
  
  Because we didn’t know exactly what we wanted when it came to florals, it worked out nicely that she collaborated with our planner so well. You always want to hire a vendor that other vendors want to work with, and Davida wasn’t only good at helping us craft a vision, but also at creatively adjusting to complement the vision of our planner/designer.
  
  She kindly worked with us on budget and created floral designs that were absolutely beautiful for our wedding. One memorable moment was initially seeing the beautiful arrangements around the ceremony area, and then after the ceremony when we were taking a minute for ourselves to change shoes at our sweetheart table, Davida and her team brought some of those arrangements in from the ceremony and repurposed them to dress up the area around our sweetheart table. She live-cut some of the flowers as we were sitting there to make them look perfect for the space. Repurposing arrangements between the ceremony and reception is not always possible depending on your venue and needs, but she was able to make it work for us and it looked amazing.
  
  Our bouquets were both beautiful, different, and each very “us.” We hadn’t seen what our bouquets would look like before getting them on the day, and when we first saw them, I was immediately drawn to one hoping it was mine… and it was! It was the same for my wife. Reading our preferences for that was something that Davida could tell after having spoken with us a few times and from close coordination with our planner, which we found impressive. And speaking of personal flowers, my mom was in love with her corsage and couldn’t stop admiring it throughout the afternoon and night!
  
  Davida’s whole staff was around during pictures and the ceremony, because they were all moving things between the ceremony and reception space due to our requests and budget constraints. They were SUCH a great energy to have around, and not distracting at all – purely uplifting, fun, and encouraging. Of course you want your vendors to be great at their jobs, but you’re spending so much time with them day-of, you also want them to be great people to be around! Davida and her team are perfect examples of that. We are so happy to have worked with her for our wedding!

  The best florist for your wedding

  Davida is a floral genius. From the moment we saw her portfolio we knew she was the right florist for our wedding. She has an amazing ability to make every bouquet feel natural, colorful, balanced, and unique. What really drew us to her was her intricate and tasteful use of bright colors. Davida (and her team) built so many beautiful floral moments in our wedding: Chuppah decorations, banister bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, centerpieces, aisle bouquets, flower girl crowns, and much much more. Each part of our florals was beautiful and she was able to fill the space perfectly.
  
  Working with Davida was such a joy. She is incredibly collaborative and helped us figure out what flowers would best fit our needs. Even when we suggested flowers that weren’t in season, Davida was always ready to suggest alternatives so our flowers would be fresh, bright, and exactly what we wanted. While planning, we gave Davida our ideas, showed her some inspirations, and let her work her magic. It was truly amazing to see the final results. She brought so much color, brightness, and joy to every inch of our wedding.

  Davida is the best!

  Davida is such a talent! The floral arrangements she created for our wedding were absolutely stunning. She elevated our wedding venue and gave us the most classic and timeless decor. From day one, Davida was awesome to work with. I had so much fun sharing my vision with her and hearing her design ideas. I was able to lean on her expertise, which made the whole process so easy and stress free. Davida also worked with us when we had to change our wedding date due to covid. Every step of the way she was so helpful. I feel so lucky that she was part of our wedding day. She helped make the day so special.

  Perfect fit!

  First off, it was easy and fun to talk to Davida, we had a hour long call where we discussed meaningful moments in our relationship and some of the flowers that were part of them. From these ramblings and jumble of information, she constructed the perfect bouquet and boutonnière! The balance of colors, textures, and variety gave it a unique, sentimental, and romantic feel that fit the wedding, and more importantly us to a 't'. Even throughout the adjustments we made over time as we went from an 80 person to a 12 person wedding, Davida was helpful, patient, and supportive. If you want a florist that will really listen and construct your dream, you can do no better than Davida!

  Davida is great!

  Davida was absolutely great to work with! She made everything super specific and custom to what we wanted and helped us with some last minute changes. The floral and table arrangements were beautiful as well as the vases they were in! I will recommend her to anyone in the LA area!

  The fact that Davida knew our story and really gave us what we envisioned for our wedding was amazing. At the very last moment my fiancée called Davida to add something to my boutineer- my youngest brother had died and our special movie was Peter Pan- I wanted an acorn added to it to have him close by. She delivered not only beautiful flowers but such sweet sentiments. Thank you for making our day so special!

  Davida of Flowers by Lady Buggs was my florist for my 10/27/17 wedding. We never met in person. As a super type A nerd, I poured over her work online and was so impressed with the beauty and quality of her work. Once we spoke, she completely understood my vision and took over from there. She requested a few photos of what I had in mind. We never met. The flowers at my wedding were stunningly beautiful. Not overdone (because that's not what I wanted) but sophisticated and beautiful. I could not be happier with her work. If you want a true professional, who you can rely on to fulfill your vision, I would not look anywhere else.

  I can't recommend Davida Buggs and her company Flowers by Lady Buggs enough. She was a dream come true! From the minute we spoke I knew Davida not only understood my vision to a T, but she was so warm and inviting, it honestly felt like speaking to a friend. She was sweet enough to spend A LOT of time on the phone with me, going over every detail, she answered all of my questions, proposals and designs. Even though we weren't able to have a face to face meeting before the wedding (due to my busy schedule), I knew I was in amazing hands with Davida. Not only are her designs flawless, but she is such a lovely person, you can tell she really cares about each and every wedding she works on and each and every bride she works with.
  The big day finally came, and when I saw my beautiful reception area my breath was literally taken away. It was like Davida made all my visions come to life, just by me describing what I wanted. Then when she took me to see the bouquets, I literally started crying because they were so beautiful. They were lush and delicate, they were absolutely perfect.
  The special touches Davida adds makes you feel like your wedding is truly unique and special. Things you couldn't imagine, even with all the pinterest boards in the world, she can make come to life and look like absolutely perfection. From the flower crowns she made with love and care for my nieces/flower girls, to the Chuppah she designed with minimal guidance from me, you'll see that everything she does for your wedding is done with love.
  My big request was that I had flowers cascading down the side of my cake, I was able to put Davida in touch with our bakery and she handled every thing from that point on. And my cake was a show stopper, it was so hard to cut in to it because she made it look like perfection with all of the

  Davida is amazing. I am so happy with how everything came out. I would not have changed anything. She is amazing at what she does. She is very professional, so it is easy to work with her. She was able to give me more than I asked for and expected because she is so good at what she does. She always responded quickly and was very eager to answer all my questions to make sure everything came out the way it did. My husband has said that if we ever need a florist for another event he would hope we could have her again.

  Davida was one of those vendors we instantly clicked with upon an in person meeting and in line with our initial impression, she did a wonderful job on our wedding flowers!
  
  She was very determined to ensure my vision was met (it was!), her pricing was reasonable and we got many compliments on the flowers overall, my bridal bouquet and my husband's boutonniere! (the craspedia really made it pop).
  
  We were also able to rent a chuppah from her and she provided the draping. It was a huge relief to not have to take on an additional vendor for that :)

  I had to give Flowers by Lady Buggs 5 in all areas. Her product and professionalism speaks for itself. I made the decision to move our wedding date up from May 2012 to October 15, 2011. This decision was made at the begining of September 2011, so our time frame was not ideal for any vendor nor ourselves looking in hindsight. But we did it with the help of Mrs. Buggs and her team.
  
  I was not sure what colors nor the type of flowers I wanted to use for our special day, being that it was in the fall and I wanted bright colored flowers, not your normal fall colors. All I knew is that the flowers were an important factor in our big day and I wanted them to be beautiful.
  
  The team at flowers by Lady Buggs, were very accomodating, understanding and patient with me and my crazy indecisiveness. You know how a Bride and be...lol. They listened to what I wanted, and made me feel like I could do whatever I wanted within my budget. Which I feel is important, because some vendors try to coerce brides into something that is over thier budget for the benefit of the vendors financial gain. I can honestly say I appreciate the teams honesty and integrity.
  
  They delivered and set everything up on time according to our contract. I was greatful to that, because I have been to weddings where vendors are still setting up as the guest are arriving and the wedding runs behind. They made our day special, and gave me exactly what we (I) wanted. I thank the team till this day for all thier hard work and I refer their business to anyone I know with any type of event that's in need of a floral arrangement. YES!! I LOVE THEM THAT MUCH!!

  Davida was so sweet and amazing to work with. I don't know much about flowers, so all I did was send her pictures of things that I liked and she made them happen! All of our bouquets, boutonnieres, cake decoration, and my hairpiece were unique, beautiful, and just what I wanted. I was a little underwhelmed by the ceremony pieces that I asked for, but she was amazing in everything else. She was so sweet to stay during the ceremony to repurpose our garland from the ceremony for our sweetheart table, where she added some extra flowers for a little more pop. I had made our own centerpieces (enchanted roses from Beauty and the Beast if you are familiar), which had wilted in the heat, and without us even asking, Davida graciously replaced my flowers with her own to complete the look. That is care and kindness that is hard to find these days. Thank you so much Davida!
