Rachel and her team at Flower Works CT brought our vision to life through the floral arrangements that were crafted for our wedding.
The arch for the ceremony was breathtaking and the bouquets were soft and elegant. She even incorporated the zinnias from her very own garden into her creations. That was a special touch.
Her craftsmanship and her attention to detail is truly unmatched. One of my favorite things that she did was putting white sunflowers into mine and my sister’s (Matron of Honors) bouquets. Sunflowers have a very sentimental meaning in our family and meant a lot to me that she was able to include them.
She was a joy to work with and we could not have asked for a more attentive, professional, creative and true artist to design and create the arrangements for our special day. -

Best wedding florist!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Rachel and her work for our wedding! From the very beginning she was professional, warm, and incredibly easy to work with. Her pricing was more than fair, especially considering the level of detail, creativity, and care she poured into every single arrangement.
Rachel truly listened to what I wanted and somehow brought it to life even better than I imagined. Her attention to detail was impeccable, from the smallest boutonnières to the breathtaking tablescape, which featured a gorgeous greenery runner and lush bud vases that added so much elegance and charm. But the absolute showstopper was the floral arch. It was nothing short of stunning, lush, romantic, and perfectly positioned to frame our ceremony in the most magical way. Guests couldn’t stop talking about it, and neither could we!

Every single arrangement—from the bouquets to the ceremony urns to the delicate table details including baskets and ribbons—everything was overflowing with creativity, intention, and pure beauty.
What sets Rachel apart is her incredible eye and unmatched artistry. She understood my style from the start and elevated it to something beyond my wildest dreams. Walking into our wedding space and seeing her floral work was one of the most unforgettable moments of the day.

We had such an awesome experience Rachel and the Flower Works team for our wedding on 5/10/25. From the start, Rachel was very easy to work with and helped me articulate my vision to come up with the perfect floral design. Everything was executed perfectly from the gorgeous ceremony arch to the unique bridal bouquets I asked for. Rachel even went out of her way to order the exact bud vases I sent her from an inspiration photo to make sure that my table centerpieces were everything I envisioned. We highly recommend Flower Works!

Rachel was amazing to work with and extremely talented. She spent so much time speaking with my husband and I about exactly what we wanted. We sent her inspiration photos and she really brought our vision to life - and then some! The arrangements were more beautiful than I could have imagined. Our flowers were one of my favorite things about our wedding day. The wedding that happened after our send off brunch wanted to take our arrangements for their wedding!! Other people at the resort walked by and asked to take photos. They were truly show stopping. Our florals were one of the most talked about features of our wedding by our guests and we owe it all to FlowerWorks! Rachel was early and quick with set up. We had absolutely no issues working with her, it was a beyond pleasant experience and I keep trying to find a reason to hire her again!! -

We could not have had a better experience with Rachel/Flower Works. Rachel was flexible, communicative, and attentive to detail throughout the whole process. Going into our initial appointment, I was pretty indecisive as to what I envisioned for our wedding and Rachel was incredibly patient and helpful. On the day of, Rachel was able to accommodate a last minute change to an indoor ceremony due to weather and everything turned out more beautiful than I could have possibly imagined. I would highly recommend Flower Works to anyone in need of a florist! -

It was so wonderful working with Rachel for florals for our wedding in July of 2024. My now-husband and I are originally from New England, but live in California now, so a lot of the planning was done over email. Rachel was super responsive to everything. I told her that I wanted “sunflowers, but not in a boho way”, and she was fully game to take on the challenge- and she for sure delivered! She designed exactly what I had in my head and made it even more beautiful than I could have imagined, and checked in with me every step of the way. I also appreciate that she has rentals for the “hardware” part of florals- because who just has a wedding arch and dozens of vases laying around? The flowers arrived on the day-of looking fresh and bright, and she even took a few of the extra flowers she had left over to scatter around on our guest book table. The clean up was quick and easy, and again she took care of all of the rental materials. We are so lucky that we found her! -

Rachel did an outstanding job on my bouquet. I was so lucky enough to have won this bouquet a at a bridal show, and Rachel was amazing to work with. I showed her a Pinterest board, the colors I was looking for, and a few suggested flowers, and she completely made my vision come to life. The gorgeous pops of color were exactly what I was hoping for. Would absolutely recommend! -

Rachel was wonderful to work with for my wedding! She was so flexible throughout the process of wedding planning and helped to make my floral visions come true! Everything looked stunning the day of and I can’t say enough good things about her! Not to mention she worked with me on my budget and was very helpful with all of my questions. I highly recommend! Best wedding florist!
I received a recommendation from my wedding venue for Rachel at Flower Works and I am so happy with my decision! Rachel worked with my budget and created the most beautiful arrangements for my June 2023 wedding. I was upfront and explained to her my vision despite very little knowledge about flowers and she exceeded my expectations! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a responsive, trustworthy and extremely talented florist! -

Rachel is highly knowledgeable, creative, and has a stellar “yes can do” attitude. In the months leading up to your wedding day or special event, she’ll ask thoughtful questions about your venue, bridal party, theme, and vision. My advice to you is book her far in advance. Come prepared with many, many photos. Ask questions. Be curious, be passionate, dare to dream. Trust that she will listen, she will respect your budget, and she will exceed your expectations

Rachel captured everything I envisioned and made it even more beautiful than I could have imagined! Rachel is a master of her craft, so professional, and the sweetest person all around. I gave Rachel relatively vague descriptions of what I was envisioning for our floral decor, and she knocked it out of the park. Her proposal included images of the flowers so I could see what they'd look like together - but the finished product was better than I could've ever imagined. Rachel and her husband were on time and responsive, and even worked with my mom to surprise me with a special bouquet addition of a scrap of my mom's wedding dress. You will NOT regret booking FlowerWorks for your wedding! -

Dreamy garden inspired wedding
My wedding was garden inspired and no words can explain how absolutely beautiful the flowers came out. They were so incredibly dreamy and pulled the whole look together. I can’t recommend Rachel and her team enough! Rachel was always very responsive and the pricing was very reasonable for the fantastic quality of work that I received. I would recommend having an idea of what you want but letting Rachel and her team take the lead from a design standpoint because they are truly artists! -

STUNNING is the best word to describe the florals Rachel put together for our wedding day. She went above and beyond when it came to communication and really delivered the exact vision that I had. Gorgeous florals!
Going with Rachel for our wedding flowers was the best decision we made. She was responsive during the entire wedding planning process and made my floral dreams come true! When she walked in with our flowers I had tears in my eyes they were so beautiful. Rachel even included pieces from my mom’s wedding hat in my bouquet as my “something old”. She made the most gorgeous orchid boutonnière for my husband. I received so many compliments on our flowers. I cannot thank Rachel enough! I would absolutely recommend Flower Works to anyone! -

Stunning flowers
Going with Flower Works was such a fantastic decision for us!! I was STUNNED at how beautiful all of the flowers came out. From the bouquets, to the ceremony arrangements, to the reception arrangements, Rachel absolutely nailed it. They were EXACTLY how I wanted them. We spoke on the phone and I gave her picture ideas of my vision, and she completely delivered my vision. Actually, I would say they came out better than what I was hoping for. I am so glad we picked Flower works for our Fall wedding at the Branford House! Our ceremony arch, mantle arrangements and bouquets were so beautiful! I loved the fall neutral color scheme! Rachel had a lot of experience working at our venue, which was so helpful to understand where we needed flowers, and I loved the "garden style" of her arrangements. Rachel was easy to work with, flexible, and reliable. Rachel even made a few arrangements for my bridal shower amidst a busy wedding weekend prior to our wedding day! There are too many great things to say about my experience working with Rachel from Flowerworks! She really went above and beyond our expectations for allll of our flower pieces. From the moment we first sat down with Rachel, we learned that she was very knowledgeable of different flowers and styles which helped us narrow down our theme and vision for our flowers. She was also honest with us about flower shortages due to covid and ensured us our pieces would still work perfectly - she wasn’t wrong! She also gave very realistic timelines and was easy to get in touch with for any updates or questions.
My bridal bouquet was so full, lucious, and stunning from all angles and received several compliments on how beautiful it was. The bridesmaids bouquets were just as gorgeous! The real knockout was my long banquet table with simple garland down the center with small flower bud vases throughout. The choice of flowers for these bud vases were perfect making the table look elegant and very attractive.
I can’t forget about my ceremony - Rachel went above and beyond to not only fill my arch with lucious bouquets of flowers but also provided the heptagon ( 7 sides ) archway that made an epic backdrop to our barn wedding. I personally loved the heptagon because it had a secure structure resting on the ground AND a point at the top, talk about center of attention ;). It also gave us the geometric look we were looking for.
Overall, I would recommend working with Rachel any day for any occasion! -

I have been trying to find the right words to describe Rachel's incredible talent. From the moment I spoke with her on the phone I knew I had met someone very special. Rachel is kind, patient and very passionate about the work she does. She went out of her way to make sure she understood my vision for the day, by walking the venue with me, sending me examples and being incredibly patient with my many emails and texts (as things changed constantly with COVID). Fast forward to the day of the wedding, I was in tears when she brought me my flowers. What I had dreamed about was made a reality, actually better than my dreams. Rachel, I am so grateful for all your hard work to make Sami's and I wedding so magical. You will be in great hands if you work with Rachel! -

Rachel was great to work with! Communication planning our florals and leading up to our big day was answered quickly! I had asked for a lot of greenery and a mix of seasonal white florals and she made everything more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. Rachel provided a variety of florals for us, bouquets, boutineres, ceremony arch decor, large arrangements, eucalyptus garlands, bud vases, greenery for tables, flower crowns for the flower girls & petals to throw. Amazing Flowers, Personality, and Attitude!
Rachel was amazing throughout our wedding planning. She took what I wanted (an organic flow of wild flowers) and ran with it, creating an aesthetic that made the night perfect! She was incredibly flexible through the planning process and was willing to work with us through numerous revisions of our plans as COVID-19 changed the type of wedding we were planning on having. I have to say this was the best floral experience I could ever ask for during my wedding planning! Rachel was so fun to work with and always kept in touch with me throughout the process, I never had a worry in my mind when working with her! I was amazed by her talent to put together the most beautiful floral arrangements- my vision for flowers was unique and I could not find pictures of what exactly I was looking for but I sent Rachel a bunch of different images of some ideas and explained what I wanted, she took everything I said into consideration and absolutely nailed it. I can’t believe how perfect and gorgeous it all was 😍. I can’t thank her enough for all the hard work! Rachel at Flowerworks was amazing! A florist was one of the first things that we booked. After our first meeting with Rachel, we stopped looking. She was quick to respond, understood exactly what I envisioned even though I know NOTHING about flowers, and was so helpful!
We also had to change wedding venues 30 days before our wedding. With a new venue came a different setup and she easily adapted to an arch setup instead of wine barrels at our ceremony.
I highly recommended Rachel to my MOH who is getting married next year, and she has now booked her for her wedding next year. I recommend Flowerworks to everyone else as well! -

I don't have enough wonderful things to say about Rachel. From day 1 she was an absolute delight. She was always friendly, easy to reach and responsive with even the dumbest question. Covid severely impacted our wedding and we were forced to move to a backyard venue that initially had me in tears. I hated the idea of changing the space, I thought I had my dream venue. I connected with Rachel to let her know of the change and her response was a weight off my shoulders. She immediately told me not to worry that she would come up with something great to make my wedding special and I was in tears when I saw her work her magic. They say trust the process, but trust Rachel. She will deliver on pinterest wedding you always wanted. -

I am honestly blown away by everything Rachel did on our wedding day! All of our flowers and greenery were better than I could have imagined! Everything was breathtaking. I met with Rachel in the early stages of planning with a Pinterest board of ideas and she put together the perfect plan and outline of everything we asked for - and more! She took my vision to the next level while keeping me in budget and offered suggestions and ideas throughout, she really listened to every small detail. Our wedding flowers were an absolute dream. Rachel had everything under control and it was nice to know all of our flowers and details were in good hands. Our bouquets were GORGEOUS and the guys' boutonnières were perfect. Our farm head table was beautiful and our center pieces were picture perfect. We had a lot of miscellaneous details and placement for florals and greenery at our reception and every detail was just as stunning as the next. She is experienced and a true professional. Rachel and CT Flower Works are exceptional, and I would give her 100 stars if that were an option. Rachel has an amazing eye for detail and goes the extra mile to make sure the everything is even better than you could have imagined. I have countless examples of how diligent, flexible and accommodating Rachel is. I wanted to provide my own hardware, and she readily accommodated this. When I needed advice on what to buy, she was always a text/call/facetime away. When I needed to add more to my order or change items, my order was updated flawlessly. When I was looking for a specific type of anemone, she secured a wholesaler that had the best quality anemones. On the day of my wedding, Rachel and her team blew me away. Not only was more beautiful than I could have possibly imagined, but she used extra greenery throughout the venue to make everything more beautiful. I cannot say enough how amazing Rachel is and I would recommend to every bride in New England. -

Rachel is simply amazing. My original florist cancelled on me 6 months before my wedding so I had to find a new florist. I found Rachel and Flower Works and knew it was a match. Rachel took all my pinterest ideas and executed them with perfection. I changed my idea about certain things throughout that 6 months and with every email I sent she promptly responded keeping me at ease and listening to every idea. She also listened to my thoughts and concerns and offered many different design concepts to address them. One of those being a beautiful 16ft flower wall that we used half of for the ceremony and then repurposed in the reception. When I walked into my venue I was blown away at how well Rachel put all the flowers and decor together. All my bridesmaids LOVED their flowers and we were able to repurpose those as well. I am so glad I made the choice to use Rachel. She’s professional, prompt, and has great design sense which is everything you could want in a florist. -

Rachel made my dream a reality
Amazing Rachel, our florist from FlowerWorks! Rach Where should I start! We were totally blown away by the flowers and the arch you designed for us. It was truly magical! I still remember how nervous viranga was at our first and only meeting where we discussed small details two days before the ceremony. You are just amazing Rach! I had a general idea of what the flowers and the arch would look like, but when they were completed, they exceeded our expectations! Thanks for making our day as perfect as it could be!

Pinterest Dreams to Wedding Reality!
Oh my gosh. Where do I start!? Rachel is THE best. She took my Pinterest ideas and brought them to life! It was all perfect on our wedding day beyond what I saw in pictures. Rachel not only responded promptly she was so flexible, understanding, and patient! She can truly make anything a possibility. Her work is phenomenal. I feel like I walked away from my wedding with a friend! Impeccably gorgeous florals. -
