  Wonderful Florist

  As someone planning a wedding from out of town AND during Covid, Colie was a dream to work with. After a quick but thorough consultation on the phone, I felt completely relaxed knowing the flowers at our wedding were going to be gorgeous with Flower Scout as our wedding florist. Even when we had to reschedule our wedding, Colie worked with us to make sure she could handle the our new date during peak wedding season and for that we are so grateful. The flowers were all so beautiful and romantic and the perfect compliment to the laid-back vibe we were going for with our wedding.

  As someone planning a wedding from out of town AND during Covid, Colie was a dream to work with.   Botanical Garden Perfection

  We absolutely loved working with Colie of Flower Scout. She is a true artist who is also knowledgeable and responsive. We trusted them to create the chuppah, centerpieces, flower crown, boutonnières and bouquets. They perfectly matched our Botanical Garden venue while also being unique, local and accommodating of our taste. The chuppah ended up being a true centerpiece of our formal photos.

  The fresh, romantic florals of my dreams!

  Colie created the most beautiful florals for our wedding this summer in the Hudson Valley. She was awesome to work with. From the first time we chatted on the phone I could tell she 100% understood the look I was hoping for—romantic, loose, with a bit of a wildflower feel. We gave a color palette, some inspiration photos, and otherwise trusted her completely. The best part was probably the magical crown she made for me that legit made me feel like a goddess. I would highly recommend Flower Scout for your wedding! Thank you Colie!

  BEST Florist to go with!!

  One of the easiest vendor decisions my husband and I made for our wedding! She knew exactly what I wanted and has a great design vision! I can’t recommend her enough.   Breathtaking Farm Flowers

  Colie was wonderful to work with. She listened to all the things that we wanted, and helped to create a vision for the event. And then executed on it flawlessly. One of the main reasons we chose Flower Scout to provide our wedding flowers was because she grows a majority of the flowers herself. Our flowers were truly beautiful due to her design sense, and the fact that they were seasonal and obviously grown with love. Forever grateful for our beautiful flowers. Don't hesitate to go with Flower Scout if you want something magical.

  Working with Colie was a highlight of the wedding planning process for me. Not only does she design incredibly gorgeous florals, but she's a pure delight to work with and handled every one of my questions with professionalism, patience, and kindness. I'm not especially well-versed in the world of plants and flowers, but I was able to give Colie a very vague description of a feeling I was going for and she delivered the exact vision that was inside my head. From my wild and dangly bouquet, to our massive ceremonial plinths, to the assorted living plants we used as centerpieces, every detail was exquisitely executed. But hands down, my absolute favorite decorative element of the entire wedding was the enormous hanging cloud of florals that Colie masterfully installed above our tent dance floor. Dancing beneath it was such a dream! I'm so grateful that Colie was so wonderful in helping me understand the options, logistics, and costs so that we could make that installation a reality.
  
  Colie is undoubtedly a tremendously talented florist, but she's also thoughtful and kind human. I could not recommend her and her business more enthusiastically.

  Colie did an amazing job with our South Asian wedding. This was her first time creating a mandap, and she did an amazing job with it and coordinating with the site. There was no doubt in my mind that my special day would be incredible, and that the mandap would be beautiful. Our wedding coordinator also said it was a huge pleasure to work with Colie as she is very professional, responsive, and easy to work with. I recommend Colie to everyone I meet who is getting married, and you should definitely hire her.

  I used Flower Scout for my August 2018 wedding and couldn't be happier! Colie made the entire flower process the easiest part of our entire wedding. I feel in love with her designs and knew they were perfect for our Vermont setting. I gave her very little requirements and the end result was something I could have never imagined! Our bouquets went so well with my mis-matched bridesmaids dresses and the boutonnieres were so fun and different! Colie also worked with my mom to use part of her dress on my bouquet, which was really special.

  Colie is a gem of a human and a true artist. Working with her on our wedding flowers was a joy. She took on the task of creating florals for our 200 person wedding which included bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, flower girl crowns, large arrangements for the ceremony, and decorating 12 large reception tables, as well as several other extraneous arrangements. It was a BIG job, and she executed it flawlessly.
  
  Colie was straightforward and transparent about pricing. I never felt pressured, but rather felt that she really cared about helping us to create visual impact for our large, outdoor wedding in a cost-effective manner.
  
  In our phone conversations Colie took the time to really understand, not only what we were looking for in flowers, but also who we are as people. It was apparent that it’s meaningful to her to have her creations be a part of such a significant moment in her clients’ lives, and I think that spirit comes through in her gorgeous work.
  
  I wholeheartedly recommend Flower Scout, especially if you are looking for a more wild and romantic look for your wedding flowers that draws from local and seasonal abundance.

  There aren't enough words to describe how amazing my experience was with Flower Scout. First off, Colie is simply the best and I am so glad that we had the opportunity to work with her. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous and the experience was so easy- I didn't have to worry about a single thing.
  
  Very late in the wedding process I realized that I was not a DIY queen. About a month before the wedding I called Colie to see if she had any availability to work with me. At this point I was willing even to go above my budget because I felt like I had messed up by trying not to have flowers int he first place. Calling Colie was one of the best decisions I made in the wedding process. Colie was SO easy to work with and so flexible especially taking into consideration that she had less than a month to prepare and the fact that she also had a huge wedding the same weekend as mine. I found her prices to be very fair and she worked with me and my budget- she didn't try to oversell me on anything and instead really took into consideration what I wanted to spend (which in the wedding industry is super rare).
  
  Colie also went above and beyond. On the day of the wedding, about 45 min before the ceremony, I realized that I had somehow forgotten to include boutonnieres in our contract- which was something that I really wanted. We called Colie and she made all of the boutonnieres and had them to us before the ceremony. I was so incredibly grateful and touched that she would do this for us, it meant a lot.
  
  Lastly, the work she did was beautiful. The centerpieces matched the venue so well and were a really important component of bringing all the visual elements of the wedding together. I LOVED the boutonnieres and the bouquets, everything was gorgeous! I would highly, highly recommend Flower Scout.

  Colie was absolutely wonderful to work with. She does amazing work and is super responsive to emails. I was having a small wedding and wanted to save some money so I was able to order all my flowers and pick them up the morning of. Her work was better then I could have even imagined.

  I showed Colie some photos of things that I liked and told her what my vision was, and all I have to say is that she exceeded my expectations! The colors and selection of flowers and greens were absolutely stunning, the arrangements truly were a work of art, not to mention Colie is a dream to work with! Anyone getting married in the Northeast should consider using Flower Scout!

  I loved worked with Colie at Flower Scout! Flowers were the one part of my wedding where I really had no idea what I wanted: I don’t know the name of specific flowers, and even when pinning examples, I felt like I was all over the map in what I wanted. But in my first call with Colie, she was really good at drawing out how I wanted my wedding to feel, and then making suggestions that would match that. I also appreciated how willing she was to work with my budget. We had a large-ish wedding (145 people), so I was really struggling with how to make the tables feel decorated and festive without totally blowing my budget. We were doing super long tables, and Colie suggested a mix of bud vases and candles as a good way to make the tables feel full and festive. It turned out AMAZING. Literally the tables were exactly what I wanted when I didn’t even know how to describe what I wanted. Our bouquets were lovely as well - they felt perfectly unstructured in an elegant, lovely way (which is what I requested). Finally, I really liked the men’s boutonnieres - they added a lovely accent without being overly large or overly floral. Ooh, and finally: Colie created these wrist corsages for my mom and mother-in-law that were stunning; the moms wore them all night. I would hire Colie again in a heartbeat for any occasion - I only wish I lived closer so that I could join her Flower Scout CSA!

  I worked with Colie for my South-Asian/Western hybrid wedding in July. She went above and beyond through research and creativity, from the flower garlands we wore on our necks, the hanging garlands in the entry, the flower hairpieces ,and table arrangements. Every piece was a unique work of art and designed with great care. My wedding photos are breathing with life and beatury thanks much in part to the exquisite floral design. The color combinations and textures were like nothing I have ever seen. Colie has my highest recommendation for the quality of her work, and she was an absolute pleasure to work with.

  Flower Scout did the flowers for our wedding and they were absolutely gorgeous! Collie was easy to work with, responsive, and created exactly the look I had hoped for and described to her. On the wedding day she was on time, took initiative, and set everything up quickly and beautifully! I would definitely recommend Flower Scout for any occasion!

  Colie of Flower Scout was able to take our somewhat vague 'ideas' and turned them into stunning florals for our wedding! I still can't get over how obsessed I am with the bouquet she made me to the point that my friend had it replicated for my birthday (probably because she was tried of hearing how much I loved it)! She made these stunning greenery-based crowns for our flower girls, and put together an unstructured garland for our ceremony backdrop. Thanks for making our day so beautiful Colie!!

She created potted succulents for our centerpieces, and we ended up giving them out as prizes/favors. Our guests were obsessed with them! I still get compliments on the flowers, and see the succulents at our friends' and family's houses when we visit. I also have a bunch on my windowsill at work - they are a beautiful reminder of our special day, and still going strong months later. I'm so happy we used her services!

  When I first started to plan our wedding, I knew I wanted something a bit outside of the box but wanted to find something that fit my budget-- this is Colie in a nutshell. After searching on Pinterest for a while (as most prospective brides do), I found I was really drawn to wild flowers and more rustic looking bouquets. I also needed something to fit with my dress which was my grandmother's vintage wedding dress.
  I found Colie through our photographer, Katherine Wright- YTK Photography. I said wild flowers and she immediately wrote back with Colie's information. From the first emails with Colie, I knew it was a perfect fit. She knew exactly what I wanted and I just gave her free reign with under the fall theme that we were going for. The flowers were so elegant and rustic with a tinge of wildness about them that I love. She incorporated fall leaves into the bouquets as well the boutonnieres. We got so many compliments on all of her work and how well it fit our wedding.
  Colie is really easy to talk to and hash out ideas with and very reasonably priced. She will create something that is completely unique and the perfect fit. Thank you Colie!

  Flowers were one of the hardest tasks to tackle for our wedding, because we weren't too sure about what we wanted - we just knew we wanted it to look beautiful and natural, with nothing overly styled. It turned out that not having a super focused vision was actually perfect for us, because we made the excellent decision of working with Colie of Flower Scout.
  
  Colie somehow took a few disjointed inspiration photos and our limited direction and brought to life the exact flowers we wanted - turns out we just didn't know how to visualize or articulate it. She is a true artist with florals, and was able to come up with the perfect look for us as she learned more about who we were and how we wanted our wedding to feel. Colie did a wonderful job of running with the information we gave her, and checked in with us periodically to make sure we were comfortable with the direction she was headed.
  
  Colie was also super buttoned up and handled all of the details, making the process a total breeze. We wanted to do bud vases in lieu of centerpieces, and she used her own collection of recycled bottles, which went beautifully with the overall aesthetic of our wedding. When we decided a week before our wedding that we wanted to include small votive candles, she added those in and handled it all without us needing to worry about where we would source them all at the last minute.
  
  I highly recommend hiring Colie, she was an absolute joy to work with.

The bouquets and boutonnieres she created were beautiful! She did an incredible job interpreting our very abstract feedback and creating something we loved. Delivery was when we expected, she responds quickly, and we didn't have any issues at all!
  
  On top of all of that, Colie was creative in working within our small budget. She was incredibly accommodating in getting all of our floral needs met in a way that respected our budget. We would certainly recommend Flower Scout to anyone and would be happy to work with her again.
