My husband and I just got married a few weeks ago and were truly BLOWN away by how our florals came together on wedding day! Maritza is incredibly kind, helpful, and SO talented! We had a meetings leading up to the wedding, and I sent over some inspiration photos, but also wanted her to put her own creative spin on everything. We got so many compliments on all of our flowers, especially the arch. She truly brought our vision to life! I also found her pricing to be transparent and more than fair for the quality of her work. If you are looking for a florist for an upcoming wedding or special event in the Ventura/Santa Barbara and LA areas, no need to look further!

From my bouquet to the ceremony arrangements and reception décor, every detail was beautifully executed. She was flexible, communicative, and truly went above and beyond to stay within our budget. We cannot say enough good things about Maritza and Flourish Design & Co.! Maritza was hands on throughout the process, making the planning and floral design so easy and seamless. We worked with her to switch up our design of a couple items throughout the process and she was incredibly accommodating and made it so comfortable and made us feel no shame in wanting to tweak to get exactly our design vision. Aside from the incredibly wonderful time we had planning and working with her, the floral arrangements turned out STUNNING! They were exactly what we imagined and more, everything was so beautiful and exactly the style we wanted. It’s truly amazing how many different floral design styles Maritza can do, it seems like there is literally nothing she can’t do! She was so fast in set up and with repurposing florals (ceremony to reception arrangements) and was so incredibly sweet. Truly a lovely person with an incredible eye for design, immense talent to create beautiful, stunning arrangements, with a professional and efficient attitude. We can’t stress enough to anyone how much we recommend Maritza. AMAZING value for the prices they charge as well. Flourish is much less than average in price and 100000% more than average in skill, personality, floral design. She made the process wonderful and made our wedding beautiful. We love you Maritza!! -

Maritza was a life saver for our wedding. My family lives on a farm, so we originally just wanted someone to just help us assemble our flowers. Unfortunately all the winter rain destroyed our flowers and we needed last minute help from Maritza. We were terrified because flowers can be so expensive. Maritza came to the rescue with a beautiful arrangement and worked with us to stay in our budget. Our flowers were perfect and exactly what I dreamed of. She was also so calming. Some vendors add stress. She had me so assured and she did not disappoint! -

Maritza did bouquets for me and my bridesmaids and boutonnières/pins for my husband, his groomsmen, and our parents for our wedding on 5/19/24. She was extremely responsive, professional, and was super easy to work with. She was also one of the few florists we found that just did personal florals and didn’t have a large minimum, which was amazing and perfect for our budget (for a minute I had a hard time finding that and was worried I was going to have do to flowers myself!). She also delivered to us at the venue!
Most importantly, she is an ARTIST. I wasn’t too picky about the bouquets and boutonnières, because I didn’t have a specific vision in my head. During our final meeting with Maritza, basically all I did was give her my Pinterest board with inspo pics, and essentially told her to run free haha. She asked some specific questions, like if I had to have any flowers, what color for the ribbon, but overall was happy to just take it and go. What she showed up with at my wedding was absolutely OUTSTANDING. My jaw was on the floor. And the boutonnières were perfect accents to the bouquets!! I am still blown away 2.5 weeks later thinking about it. They really were the perfect cherry on top to the day, and I loved my bouquet so much that we rushed to get them preserved afterwards because I wanted to keep them forever. Maritza is the best, her prices are super fair, and I would rehire her in a heartbeat! -

Beautiful Flowers!
We choose Maritza for our wedding back in July and couldn’t have been happier. She did an amazing job even when I changed my mind about the colors and selections several times. She was easy to work with and was willing to work within our budget which I appreciate! The flowers she chose were beautiful! Thank you, Maritza!! -

Maritza is YOUR GIRL!!! When first meeting Maritza, I knew I was going to have an exceptionally easy time having her as my florist. She was knowledgeable, professional, and her prices were great! Any question I had, she answered easily. She went through the timeline with me, what to expect and was very thorough on the process. When it came to the design, I wasn’t too set on the type of flowers I wanted but more so the color scheme and look and she created an amazing display. She took exactly what I wanted and created the most stunning arrangements. On the day of the wedding, she had another florist she works with deliver (Taylor) and set up the flowers and she was a delight to meet as well. Taylor set up everything and even transported my ceremony arrangements to my reception. Everything looked perfect day of.
I would highly recommended Maritza for your wedding!! -

Extremely easy to work with and made the day look like a whimsical fairytale.
My husband and I got married in October of 2023. Maritza was a dream to work with. I did not have a floral image in mind, other than my bouquet, and there are a lot of details that could be easily over looked, but her consultations helped make sure everything was covered. Every single detail turned out so stunning and the entire floral theme was centered around my bouquet. I could not have asked for anything more. Thank you Maritza and team for doing such an incredible job the day would not have been the same without you! -

My husband and I had the best experience with Maritza and her team at Flourish Design and Co. After our initial conversation with Maritza, we met with a few other florist companies, and couldn’t help but compare everyone to Maritza! Maritza is so personable, genuine, transparent, kind and knowledgable. She asked great questions and was extremely responsive. Having Maritza on-site on our wedding day was amazing. She put her magical touch on everything and it came out better than we could have expected. We highly recommend Maritza and her team for your future events or weddings! -

Maritza was one of our most favorite vendors. She listened to what we wanted and gave her input when needed and made all our Pinterest dreams into the most picture perfect wedding day! She is fairly priced and is the most sweet person! She takes pride in her work and will go above and beyond for you and yours! My husband really wanted his boutonnière to have a base of a bullet casing, and Maritza came through with her imagination and they looked great!!! 10/10 recommend Maritza and Flourish Design & Co!! -

We had a specific vision for our unity lasso and our other florist was not able to design it so we reached out to Maritza and she was able to create a floral lasso for us that was exactly what we wanted for the ceremony. She did a great job and we're really happy with how it looked. -

Maritza did an incredible job with our wedding. She made my wedding dreams come true with exquisite arrangements, a beautiful bridal bouquet, and papel picado outside. She was very easy to work with and incredibly patient with all of my changes and budget concerns. She is a gem and has a lovely personality. I would most definitely recommend her! -

Working with Maritza for my wedding florals was a dream! She was super responsive and answered all my questions within a 2 hour window of me asking. While I know flowers are important for a wedding, I couldn't have imagined how much I loved the work she did. My bridal bouquet was AMAZING. my girls bouquets were lovely and exactly what I described and my center pieces came out PERFECT. I honestly cannot hype Maritza more. Definitely book this one! -

Gem of a florist & absolutely spectacular work!
I stumbled upon Flourish Design on Wedding Wire and beyond grateful I found Maritza! Not only was she exceptionally thorough, but totally listens to your needs & vision and makes it come to life. She was great about working with us to accommodate our budget and came up with awesome ideas which satisfied our vision and budget at the same time. She is amazing at what she does and always willing to offer up new, unique, out-of-the box ideas you may not think of which only makes your day that much more beautiful & special. She is super responsive and always so sweet, no matter how many crazy bride emails you send her, haha!
Maritza had the genius idea of reusing out ceremony arch flowers for our sweetheart table & we even had enough to use for the bar. This was all her idea & I'm so glad we were able to enjoy the flowers for more than just the ceremony!
She made our wedding vision come to life & I could not recommend her enough. Her work is absolutely stunning, if you can book her do it now! You will NOT be disappointed. -

Stop scrolling!! You have found your florist. Maritza is absolutely incredible. From the initial consult to the final product, I had the most incredible experience with Maritza as my florist. I knew I didn’t want tons of flowers because my venue was already so lush and green. However, for the florals that I did have, it was so important to me that they popped and made a statement. Maritza not only met but exceeded my expectations. I knew exactly what flowers I wanted and she was helpful in suggesting alternatives that would give the same look but also stand up to the summer heat.
Maritza was so responsive any time I needed to update anything and she sent the all proposals promptly. She took my color palette vision and ran with it.
I was so pleasantly surprised with how astonishing the florals were on the day of. I got the bouquet and color palette of my dreams. Thank you thank you thank you, Maritza!! -

Incredible Florist/Event Designer/ Human
Maritza is a gem! I was so glad I found her for my Los Olivos micro-wedding. She handled my florals, event florals, grooms/MOH/BM florals, as well as day of set up at our venue. The entire process was flawless. Maritza made the whole process so easy and it was clear from our first conversation that she completely understood my natural/organic vision. I cannot express how beautiful and on point Maritza was with her flower talent!
My wedding florals were BEAUTIFUL!
I truly lucked out stumbling across flourish design on this site. The centerpieces were beautiful and perfectly what I wanted and more. The bouquet was light, fun,and whimsical. The installs on my arch were huge and awesome omg.
She even checked on me and gave me some pointers on flower handling.

At Flourish Design, we worked with Maritza. It was about 3 weeks from the wedding and our last vendor disappeared on us. In a panic, we found Maritza, explained the situation and asked what she could do on short notice. When I say she was the MOST PROFESSIONAL person I've ever met, I truly mean it. She understood our situation, spoke to us for over an hour to truly understand what we wanted, and got to work right away. That's not even the best part. The best part is her creativity. If you work with her, you must ask her about her alternatives to arches and decorating your sweetheart table. When we saw pictures of what she could do, we simply asked Maritza to explore her creativity and we would trust what she felt matched our wedding. Her work was so incredible, that not only did our guests compliment her work, the venue itself was taken away on how beautiful everything looked. So to reiterate, Maritza and Flourish Design will sit and truly learn who you are and what you envision your wedding to be. And if you allow her to get creative, she will exceed your expectations 100%. We were so blessed and happy to work with this company. Genuinely recommend 10/10!! -
