I can't imagine anyone else creating the cake that Blayre did for our Wedding! Our theme was gothic dramatic romance and she absolutely nailed it, but what is even more impressive than her decorating (which brought me to tears when I saw it) is her palate. We had two very different cake flavors, along with other treats, and they were some of the most delicious desserts we've ever had. If you want people to remember your cake and continue to talk about it after (seriously we're about two months past our wedding and we still get texts) I highly recommend working with Blayre! -

Extraordinary!
Blayre is simply the BEST around! My husband and I had a Harry Potter themed reception so we wanted our cake to represent that, as well. From the first inquiry with Blayre, I knew I had chosen the right artist for our big day! We gave her our color scheme, theme and a few details we were looking for and she took all of that in and created a cake so beautiful and so stunning, it was one of my favorite parts about our day. Not only did it look amazing, the taste took it the extra mile! I 100000% recommend Flouretta Sweet to anyone on the hunt for your next cake! -

I had a very specific vision in mind and Blayre treated my wishes and concerns like they were her own. She is a very detailed oriented person like myself, and was one of few vendors who embraced that. She was very responsive, professional, and fun to work with. The end result was impeccable in terms of both taste and appearance. Blayre made my vision come to life and I cried when I saw the cake. Blayre is truly an artist and also the confectionary queen! I've had the pleasure of working with Blayre for years (I am also a wedding vendor by profession), and knew without a DOUBT that the second I get married I would be booking her for dessert and cake. In all of my years shooting weddings, I've never seen cakes prettier, tastier, or dessert tables emptier (because everything is so good people cannot keep their hands off her dessert displays). Our consultation was a fun and neat experience to do with my mom and my husband's best man, and it was so cool to see Blayre sketch our cake right before our eyes. On wedding day, everyone was RAVING about Blayre's dessert display, and absolutely nobody listened to the sign that said "please wait to eat until the cake is cut." The cake was as delicious as it was intricate, and every single piece of that cake was eaten. I also added a la carte macarons for every guest to have when they sat down at their seat. I dropped off the jars I wanted to use and Blayre assembled them for me and set them out at the wedding. The cake had so many details that the exact shape of the appliques on my dress was also on the cake. It is no coincidence I hired Blayre after tasting HUNDREDS OF CAKES during my career as a wedding photographer. We love you so so much Blayre!!!!! -

We had our wedding cake and desserts done by Blayre and she honestly knocked our socks off. The desserts were not just delicious, they were absolutely STUNNING! We gave her some general directions for the cake and she just ran with it and made the most beautiful cake I have ever seen. Amazing Cake!
Blayre did a fantastic job on our desserts and cake. From the tasting to the final one of a kind cake, everything went smoothly. The cake was a design to match our invitations and incorporated dragon scales. It was more dramatic and beautiful in person than I could have imagined. All the desserts and cake tasted delicious and the guests enjoyed everything. If you are looking for something special and delicious for your wedding cake look no further! -

If I could give 10 stars I would!!! Blair was so easy to work with and her packages are very customizable, we had so many different desserts and flavors at our wedding, including a vegan one for my mother, and all of our guests couldn’t stop talking about the treats and how amazing they were! Where do we even begin? Blayre completely blew us out of the water with her talent, professionalism, and love for what she does. From our very first interaction with her until the end of our wedding day, Blayre was nothing short of amazing. Finding someone who is so open and supportive in working with LGBTQ+ couples was very important to us. Not only is that one of Blayre’s main talents, she also gave us incredible recommendations for our other vendors that made our day above and beyond anything we could have imagined. Blayre’s desserts are STILL one of the most talked about elements of our day. Her flavors are unbelievable, not to mention her artistry! Our cake design was probably one of, if not THE most amazing elements of our wedding day. Her attention to detail is unmatched (even down to making sure we had desserts set aside in case we were too busy to get to them day of!). There was no detail left out. If you are considering working with Blayre, do NOT hesitate to book her. Truly an incredible baker, artist, and overall person. We LOVE you!!!! -

Blayre was amazing to work with! We had to reschedule our tasting a few times (completely on our end), and she was incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to make it happen. We chose her initially because we wanted a lot of dessert options in addition to a smaller cake, and she absolutely delivered with both. She was so helpful in advising us on the quantities we needed, and made sure we had exactly what we wanted for flavors and treats. We had little goodie bags for people to take treats with them at the end of the night, and ended up with tons of bags leftover - everyone devoured the desserts throughout the night so there were none left at the end of the reception! She is absolutely worth every bit of her pricing, which I thought was incredibly reasonable for what we got in terms of quantity, design and taste. Book her ASAP!! -

We were instantly inlove with Blayres unique designs and immediately contacted much earlier then normal scheduling date. She quickly responded to us and let us know she would take our information and when the time came to hire her, she would already have her information. When time came to contact her, she was extremely helpful and flexible with designs, flavors, and meetings. We can't express how much we enjoyed working with her. She was very personable and a joy to work with. Her cake designs was beyond expectations. The combinations of flavors were amazing, and the presentation was beautiful. The entire experience was truly great. Her cakes and cookies were a hugh hit!! A perfect dessert to add to a perfect day. Our only regret was we didn't order more for ourselves to take home with us. -

I wish there was a rating higher than 5 stars. Blayre is AMAZING!! I caught her work on instagram prior to being engaged and planning our wedding but knew as soon as I saw the magic she created, she was the baker I wanted for our special day. She put an incredible amount of time and care into planning each aspect out with us. She blew us out of the water with just her sketch of what our cake would look like and we were speechless seeing it the day of. Our desserts were gone in no lie, MINUTES. Our guests raved about it and still do. We can’t thank Blayre enough for all of the hard work she put into making our dreams reality. We will forever recommend her to all of our family and friends. -

Incredible
It was such a joy to work with Blayre. She is a cake MASTER!! She warmly welcomed the both of us as well as my parents into her home to do our cake trial and was such a dream to work with. She understood our vision immediately and got to creating in a matter of seconds. My jaw literally hit the floor when I saw our cake for the first time at our reception. Not only was is absolutely beautiful, the taste was incredible!!
I feel like some wedding culture today tries to steer you away from investing into a high quality cake but DO NOT LISTEN. Blayre’s designs and tastes are worth every single penny. She is a true artist, and we are just honored we had the chance to work with her -

Cannot Recommend Enough!
Blayre was absolutely amazing to work with for our wedding! From the booking process to the wedding day, everything was so well communicated and made me feel so calm as a bride knowing that it would all come together on the wedding day. She is a true artist and made an absolutely stunning cake that tasted just as amazing as it looked! She brought our vision to life and it tied into our decor perfectly! The dessert table was absolutely amazing and all of our guests loved all of the choices. I was worried that we ordered to many but there were barely any leftovers at the end of the night so that goes to show how tasty everything was! I cannot recommend Blayre enough! -

Insane artistry and absolutely delicious!
Blayre is truly a master at her craft and will make you a one of a kind cake that will blow your mind! She has such a unique eye and artistic vision and every cake she makes is stunning. On top of her cakes looking amazing, they also taste amazing! I am not usually a big wedding cake fan, but I will eat Blayre's cakes any day of the week. She comes up with really tasty and unique flavors that are sure to please you and your guests. And don't get me started on the mini desserts (trust me, you NEED the smores bars)! Everyone was raving about the desserts afterwards and basically the whole table was cleared out (and that's saying something since we bought desserts for an original guest count of 125 and only about 85 showed up). She's so well priced for the quality and absolute artistry you receive! No doubts, I would book Blayre over and over again! -

Flouretta Sweet recently hosted the most delicate and sweet part of our wedding - the desserts! We were absolutely blown away by the quality of service and pride that Blayre puts into her work. We knew that after spending an afternoon taste testing assorted desserts in her lovely home, that we were in for a treat (no pun intended). Blayre quickly put any anxiety as ease with her persona and attention to detail when discussing the goals we had for our wedding. Not only did we receive multiple compliments on the desserts, but we were enamored by the presentation of the table full of hand selected desserts for our guests to enjoy. Dream Wedding Cake!
Blayre is truly an artist! She will make your wedding cake pinterest board dreams come true and expand those dreams even bigger and better than what you ever imagined.
Not only does she create cakes that look beautiful but they also taste delicious. She’s called the buttercream whisperer for a reason! When my husband tasted it for the first time, his jaw literally dropped followed by a completely genuine “dear lord!”
We came to Blayre at Flouretta Sweet with two very obscure asks. We wanted a wedding cake that was inspired by Lord of the Rings and Lothlorian influenced (while still looking elegant and not too much like a themed cake) and a cake that resembled a hanging garden. Blayre truly achieved the impossible and engineered a STUNNING cake that HUNG UPSIDE DOWN from an arbor with beautiful vines and flowers draped all around. Despite what was a truly crazy ask, she led the charge and gathered many of our vendors to make this cake a reality. We had so many family and friends after the wedding comment how amazing our cake was. Some even posted pictures to facebook of the wedding weekend without us and just posted the cake…. because really that cake was the star of the show!
I can’t recommend Blayre enough. She really is the best at what she does.

Hire Blayre!
Let me preface this by saying I am the “doesn’t like sweets” one of the group - and everything Blayre made for us was gobbled down by my husband and I (and our guests) IMMEDIATELY. Blayre was so friendly and welcoming from our very first point of contact, and even invited us and our parents into her own home for our tasting. She created a one of a kind, custom cake based off our vision and the vision for our wedding, and it was more amazing than I could have ever imagined. We also did a dessert bar, and like I mentioned before: everything was so good it was gone in an instant. I consider Blayre a friend, and would recommend her highly to anyone who is looking for a custom, unique cake and some bomb dessert. -

My husband literally can't imagine picking anyone else to create our wedding cake. The whole process was seamless from the tasting to the design and the set up at the wedding. She designed the cake in front of our eyes during the cake tasting, which was absolutely incredible. Blayre is also super allergen friendly which was important to us since my husband has an egg allergy. She was so kind to create one egg-free tier and the rest of the cakes were regular for our guests. And don't even get us started on the actual cake flavors!!! We selected Apple Cinnamon Spice and Salted Caramel Pumpkin, which were both incredible. We'd book Blayre all over again if we had the chance and we are already looking forward to our anniversary cake :) -

Loved working with Blayre!
Blayre was such a pleasure to work with for our wedding! She made the process so easy and was really responsive with any questions that we had. If you are looking for a unique creation for you wedding cake (or any occasion), Blayre is the one for you! I was blown away by her work on her Instagram/website and knew right away that I needed her to be our cake artist.
Tim and I had such a great time at the tasting and trusted Blayre to create our dream wedding cake as well as the desserts for our dessert station. After discussing our wedding aesthetic with Blayre, she was able to look at our design look book and my Pinterest board to sketch a design for our cake which we were so happy with.
The desserts we chose for the wedding were a hit! They were pretty much demolished by the time we got to our cake cutting and I am glad she was able to make each of us a little sampler plate on the day of.

I have the fortune of knowing Blayre through my cousin, so she was a no-brainer when it came to deciding who was going to make my wedding cake. She took so much care in making our cake look and taste delicious, and the dessert bar we constructed complimented our theme (Star Wars) and the event SO WELL! We got so many comments from our guests about how great everything was, and most of our desserts were taken by the time our reception started! Blayre with Flourettasweet was a last minute addition on our part for our wedding day. We initially just wanted a small cutting cake for our wedding, until we came across her Instagram. I had never seen cakes like hers. Her cakes are not just a wedding cake, but a work of art. She is so ahead of her time when it comes to her craft, I would not be surprised to see her on Food Network in a few years. From our first interaction with her, she was absolutely nothing but personable and professional. We were hesitant that maybe her cakes just looked beautiful, but might not taste the best – but we were very wrong. My husband, who is not a sweets person, is still adamant that this is the best cake he has ever tasted. At our tasting, she provided perfect flavors based on our likes/dislikes and helped us choose which worked best together. I didn’t really know what I wanted design-wise, but I showed her so many pictures and she pulled together the perfect mix of them all. It was like she read our minds. Last minute, she was also able to make gluten and dairy free cupcakes once we realized how many of our guests RSVPd with these dietary restrictions. The best part is, instead of freezing our top tier, she will remake a small cake for your one-year anniversary, which is something we are looking forward to immensely. Thank you so much Blayre!

There are truly no words to encompass the experience I had with Blayre, but I will try to speak to it. Blayre is first of all UNBELIEVABLY talented. Her cakes pieces of artwork and so beautiful. After getting married and working with many vendors, I can definitely say that Blayre was one of my favorite people to work with from beginning to end. I know Blayre is ridiculously busy, but she never makes you feel like she doesn't have time for you or like she's going to forget any of the details of your wedding. She is extremely professional and is just FUN to work with. She has creativity in her process from start to finish and you can tell she loves what she does. Our cake tasting was such a wonderful experience and during the tasting she sketched her vision of our cake based on our aesthetic and details. The sketch was beautiful, but the actual cake really and truly blew my mind. It was beyond anything I could have imagined and I love all of Blayre's cakes but mine was definitely my favorite! Not only was the cake beautiful but it was literally the best cake I've ever tasted. She made the cake based on my husband's requested flavor: devil's food cake with chocolate ganache and chocolate chip buttercream. I can't recommend this cake enough. People who don't even like cake loved this cake. And with Blayre, you don't just get a cake decorator, but someone that let's you choose from an enormous list of mini desserts. She created the dessert table of our dreams with so many fun flavors of cookies, cupcakes, bars, macaroons, doughnuts, etc. It was beautiful and our guests were so impressed. A true showstopper. In addition, her sister Tess created our signage for the desserts which just takes everything to an even higher level. You really can't go wrong with Blayre. She's incredible at what she does and she was an absolute pleasure to work with. Just book her already!!! -

From the first contact with Blayre, my husband and I were in love! Our wedding planning started right when the pandemic started. Blayre was so accommodating and made a safe experience from the get go. We were able to safely pick up our cake sampling and it was love at first bite! We didn't even try another cake designer because not only was the cake delicious, but the designs were amazing!!! Plus, the communication was seamless! My husband and I were unsure what we wanted for our cake design and Blayre was patient and guided us. The end result was indescribable. Our cake and dessert table was one of the highlights of our wedding. We are so grateful that we found Flouretta Sweet. If you're considering Blayre to create your wedding cake, look no further. She is an absolute joy to work with and incredibly talented. I can't recommend her highly enough.
First - her artistry! I originally sought out Blayre because of her ability to do handcrafted and painted floral cakes. Not only did she create stunning, handmade florals that covered our cake, but she also painted the macarons with leaf and gold details. The result was gorgeous and unique.
Second - the flavors! I loved working with Blayre to create one-of-a-kind flavor pairings. Our cake was lemon with blueberry jam and lemon zest icing, plus lemon curd and thyme simple syrup. Our macrons were 1) earl gray with white chocolate and salted caramel, and 2) Persian Love Cake (pistachio, rose and cardamom). Each flavor had special meaning to Matt and me, as well as our families. Not only did the desserts look beautiful, but they tasted out-of-this-world good. My uncle stopped the reception to announce to everyone it was the greatest cake he's ever had. I concur :)
Third - the service! Blayre is just so fun and kind to work with. I loved getting to know her and she brought such brightness and energy to the whole process. Plus, because of COVID-19, we dramatically scaled back our wedding from 150 guests to just eight. Blayre navigated the change with grace and ease. She's super responsive, loves what she does, and is so talented at it - you can't go wrong with Blayre and I'm so glad she could be a part of wedding day. -

I don’t know where to start with Blayre and FS. Before even contacting her, I was blown away by her Instagram feed. I received many recommendations for cake designers and the second I saw Blayre’s cakes, I prayed she was available because I didn’t want anyone else! And let me tell you, the overall experience did not disappoint. Not only is Blayre THE most talented cake designer, she’s a master communicator and just a wonderful person to have along for the wedding planning ride. My (now) husband and mom came along to our tasting; all three of us couldn’t stop raving about the cake and Blayre’s attention to detail/organization. Her business means everything to her and it shows! She kept in touch with me and even checked in to see how I was doing all throughout the months leading up to the big day. Sometimes you need an extra cheerleader (especially with planning during Covid) and she definitely did that for me! But let’s talk about the cake itself... I. WAS. DEAD. It tasted incredible and was more beautiful than I ever could’ve imagined. Just amazing. We did mini desserts too and our guests LOVED them! Price-wise, we felt her cost was more than fair. She even said upfront that she wouldn’t be the cheapest option, which I appreciated. Some things are well worth the extra bit of investment, and FS cakes are no exception. BOOK HER - you won’t regret it for a second! -

Flouretta Sweet is one of the best decisions we made
Hiring Blayre to be our cake artist for our wedding was one of the best wedding choices we made. From the start, communicating with her was easy and her responses were fast. Her cakes are delicious and her artwork for the cakes (and other desserts) are stunning. (It's about 2 weeks after our wedding and people are still talking about the desserts!) But Blayre was more than our cake baker. She was our hype woman. She was the person I would vent to when I was nervous and message when I was excited. Blayre truly treats every single one of her clients like family and she tells every bit of your story through her desserts. If you're looking for both a wedding baker and someone who will hype you up along the way, then Blayre is the cake artist for you. If you're just looking for cakes/desserts, there is no one more talented than her. -

We met Blayre at a wedding show event, and decided that day that we wanted to hire her over the other bakers we met. She was really engaging, and clearly passionate about what she does, and then we tried some of her samples and we were hooked. Our cake and cupcakes turned out beautifully!
It was also really important to me to hire women-owned/run businesses when possible, and businesses that are inclusive - Flouretta Sweet fit both of those requirements. -

In Summary, hiring Blayre as our wedding cake vendor was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We found Flouretta Sweet through our awesome wedding planner (Melissa from Stylish Occasions). After our first email correspondence with Blayre we knew she was someone we wanted to work with and after trying one of her sample boxes we were hooked!! Prior to our wedding we ordered 3 different cakes from Blayre (a cake for a friend's event, a birthday cake, and the cake for my bridal shower). Each one showed her insane talent in decorating and also tasted incredible. But even more important, Blayre treats you as friends and not just customers. She is incredibly kind and treated things like allergy accommodations as opportunities rather than burdens. We had a cake and mini desserts for our wedding all of which were out of this world. We also ordered brunch items for our wedding parties to have while getting ready which I would highly recommend (her chocolate chip banana bread is so good)! She even took the time to make plates of all of the mini desserts for my husband and I, and thank goodness she did because not a single mini dessert was left when we cut our cake. Our only regret is that we did not get to have more than a bite of our wedding cake because our saved pieces were accidentally thrown out by the venue. But, as I write this, we just got done celebrating the holidays with stickies, banana bread, a fruit tart, and cheesecake all from Flouretta Sweet. We cannot recommend working with her enough. She will go above and beyond for you on your wedding day. We were lucky enough to see Blayre twice on our wedding day and it made us so happy because it felt like seeing a friend. Anyways, please take this very long review to know that you should definitely hire Flouretta Sweet for your wedding and have no hesitations. We are so happy we did, and cannot wait to have her amazing creations at all of our big life events! -

Blayre makes the whole process of booking super easy! After securing our wedding date, my husband and I were able to schedule a cake tasting online through her availability calendar. The tasting was at her house which is where she runs her business, and it was set up so beautifully and professionally! (But also comfortable!) We were able to go over all of the details of the cake design while Blayre sketched it out. She made it so easy to envision the cake, it came out beautiful just as we knew it would, and sooo delicious! Thank you so much, Blayre! -

A wedding must have
From the beginning, Flouretta Sweets was BEYOND perfect! Blayre took my dream wedding cake and brought it to life. She is a great listener and very knowledgeable. Her prices are beyond reasonable for the quality that she brings! She even designed and decorated the cake table so we didn’t have to worry about it!
Not only did my husband lick his plate clean during our cake testing, but my parents ate THE ENTIRE cake leftovers after the wedding (some alcohol may have been involved).
Flouretta Sweets is a wedding must have! -

Flouretta Sweet was one of my favorite vendors I had by far. From answering questions before booking, showing inspirational pictures, to being blown away on our wedding day by an amazing cake and desserts! I can not say enough! Everything looked amazing and tasted even better! Blayre reassured me and helped picked desserts I could have with my allergy as well as being able to give us perfect amounts of each dessert. An amazing vendor!!
Blayre from Flouretta Sweet came recommended to us by another wedding cake vendor who was unable to accommodate our request for mini desserts at our wedding. I was a bit skeptical to work with Blayre because of her lack of reviews but I figured that the vendor who recommended her (who had hundreds of her own 5* reviews) wouldn't recommend someone untrustworthy. The minute I saw Blayre's gallery on www.flourettasweet.com (omg, gorgeous, go now!!!) , I reached out to her. She was super sweet and professional, and when I received her miniature dessert menu, I knew I wanted to work with her (mainly because I couldnt stop drooling). Her menu for miniature desserts was SO incredible and took out all the guesswork of wondering how much to order. One set price per person and you got to choose from a bunch of different options and flavors. We chose a package that came with key lime tartlettes, strawberry shortcake parfaits, smores parfaits, mini cheesecake bites, and brownies. Our wedding cake was cinnamon bun inspired with a cream cheese frosting, as well as another layer for salted caramel mocha (both flavors that Blayre had us try at our tasting that we devoured!). She set up a beautiful display for us, and simply put- our guests went BONKERS and raved about ALL of the desserts. I didn't get to taste the cheese cake bites (probably because one of my neices told me she ate 19 of them 🤣), but everything else was so incredibly delicious! My favorite was the smores parfait, which I will probably dream about for years. Simply put- Blayre was so wonderful to work with, her prices are reasonable and can accomodate any budget, and her baking is top notch. BOOK HER. NOW. 😘 -

Super Sweet Experience
Blayre was so sweet and accommodating in the wedding planning process. I initially contacted her about a big wedding with all the fixings, but then changed plans about 3 times. We ended on a small intimate wedding with a BBQ reception on another day. Blayre was happy to make that happen for us by making desserts for each event. She made a delicious, small cake for our wedding day. I still am fantasizing about her raspberry buttercream filling. She used my inspiration to create a beautiful watercolor design on the cake with silver flakes. For our BBQ reception, she made cupcakes and baked donuts. Her apple pie donuts were a huge hit! Everything looked beautiful and tasted just as good. We would highly recommend her to all couples and for other events. She is helpful, kind and super responsive. It felt like working with a close friend instead of a business owner! She is willing to go out of her way for her couples and clients. -

Blayre is not just a wedding cake baker, she is an artist and master of her craft. She has a unique ability to create a signature look for each couple she works with.
We were planning a Halloween themed wedding, and looking for a cake artist that would be excited about a dark nontraditional yet elegant Hallowedding cake. As soon as I saw Blayre's work, I knew she would be perfect for us. Blayre made every step of the process easy and enjoyable, with swift communication and transparency. Her prices are also extremely reasonable and she talks you through how to stay on budget.
At our tasting consultation, Blayre had prepared several flavor profiles based on information she'd gathered on our tastes and allowed us to bring our moms along for the experience. The four of us couldn't narrow down, so we ended up picking a different flavor for each tier! We sat down together, and discussed our vision for the look of the cake, some wedding inspiration points and Blayre formulated a concept on the spot. I knew from there that the cake was going to be dramatic, fabulous and really fit our theme, as she did not shy away from things like me asking for dark moody drips. When we saw the cake at our wedding it was better than we could have even dreamed. A number of friends and family members commented on the beauty of the cake, and that it felt so me. That personalization Blayre provides is really what stands out to me as a gamechanger, which comes from her ability to listen to her clients and really get to know them and their personalities. I would absolutely recommend Blayre to any couple who's looking for a unique cake that tastes great and looks great. -
