Our wedding cake was so so so good!! We also ended up deciding to order a sheet cake for dessert for guests, and they were able to add that on to our delivery order a couple weeks before the day! So delicious!!! -

We had an awesome time using Flour(ish) for our July 2024 wedding. We were initially undecided what we wanted to do for dessert but Taryn was super helpful. We decided to go with a dessert bar rather than a cake. The planning and payment process was seamless. Taryn was extremely responsive to even the smallest of questions.
There were hardly any desserts left by the time we made it to our dessert table. Our guests especially raved about the lemon bars. We highly recommend Flour(ish)! -

We ordered our wedding cake, a strawberries and cream tiered cake, from Flour(ish) and it came out wonderfully! Taryn was also so easy to work with and very communicative throughout the entire planning process. Would definitely recommend! -

Taryn and her team were spectacular! The desserts were so amazing and everyone raved about them! We had a small wedding cake, whoopie pies, and cupcakes. All the different desserts were moist and decadent, our guests loved them! We were just so pleased with how everything went and are so thankful for Taryn's help in making this day the day of our dreams! -

We loved our wedding cake! From our initial consultation over the phone to our cake tasting to our wedding day, Taryn was responsive and fun to work with. We chose a 3 layer strawberries and cream cake and our guests loved it. Thank you, Taryn, for helping to make our wedding day so wonderful! -

Flour(ish) and Taryn were great! Taryn was very accommodating and flexible. My husband loves dessert so this was important to us. During our tasting she gave us as much time as we needed and had many options for us to decide from.
We really wanted to do a help-yourself dessert table for our guests and she made my vision come to life! The cake pops were a huge hit and were enjoyed for days after the wedding. We did a small cutting cake and it was perfect! Taryn was really great to work with. -

We originally met the owner at a bridal show, they had mini cupcakes that my mom & sister said was amazing & also offered gluten free options as I am gf. We ended up ordering a small 2 tier gf cake to cut & 5 different types of mini cupcakes. Both were a big hit! -

Taryn was sooo easy to work with, and her prices are fantastic! I was looking for a smaller local bakery to do our wedding cake, and Taryn did not disappoint! We went in for a cake testing with our mothers (one of which who is very very picky) and all of us decided on the same cake (it was so good!) - a vanilla cake with strawberries and cream, and the top layer red velvet for us to save! I gave Taryn a vague idea of what I was looking for in terms of look of the cake and she took my idea and brought it to life better than I could even imagine! It was beautiful. -

We wanted a local bakery to do a small 'display' cake since our venue was going to provide a sheet cake for serving. We met with Taryn, and she helped us choose a small two tier cake (6-in and 8-in) for our display cake. The cake turned out beautifully, and she was able to add some spare flowers we brought and our cake topper on site. And while we weren't overwhelmed by the initial cake tasting, we thought the actual cake was really good! We ended up not using much of it at the reception, so took it home and enjoyed cake for the week after. -

I went to Flour(ish) Bake Shoppe because I heard that they could make gluten free cakes (my now husband has celiac disease) and I am sooooo happy I did! Taryn is incredible! I got married at the New England Aquarium a little over a week ago, and had the vision of a fun, nontraditional, whimsical, under the sea cake. Since we were having a mini dessert display, I only needed a small cake for cutting purposes. Taryn went above and beyond anything I could ever dream of! She managed to make a giant shark head, complete with underwater sea creatures, and per my request, a goat with a snorkel and Brady jersey! As an added bonus, I was able to pick funfetti cake, which is my absolute favorite! Thank you so much Taryn for not only making a delicious cake, but a work of art that my guests are still talking about! -

We chose Flourish for our wedding cupcakes and small topper cake last year and were very happy with them. Taryn was responsive and easy to work with, and the cupcakes were very tasty. The cupcakes were also very beautiful and set up nicely for us. And last but not least, I was happy with the pricing--which is not something you can say very much when you're planning a wedding. :) -
Caroline Sent on 11/02/2017I cannot say enough about how much of an incredible artist Taryn is - this lady is a genius! We did a few tastings, and the cakes from Flour(ish) stood WAY out from the other vendors. Taryn puts so much love into her creations and you can actually taste the difference. We ended up going with a three-tiered cake for our wedding and each layer was phenomenal. In the vanilla cake you can actually taste the vanilla bean that Taryn uses, the chocolate cake was better than any chocolate cake I've ever had, and the super star was the pumpkin layer - so many different fall flavors - YUM. Not to mention the frosting; it's absolutely perfect. I would eat the cream cheese frosting that went with the pumpkin cake every day for the rest of my life and never get sick of it. Not to be outdone by the flavors, our cake was absolutely beautiful. I am not the most organized bride, and I sent Taryn a jumble of cake drawings that I had made and pointed out which one was my favorite and which was my husband's favorite. She created a hybrid design that was the perfect combination of both. When I saw it after it had been delivered, I cried a little bit. It was absolutely breathtaking. I will definitely use Flour(ish) again for any custom cakes. Thank you for everything, Taryn!

Jenna Sent on 02/24/2017Flourish made the apple cider donuts that we used as our wedding cake display, along with a small cake for the top. The taste and look of everything was incredible! I will always venture to Beverly to check out the goodies... they have amazing dog treats there too! My little pup loves them! When the time comes, we will probably order gender reveal party goodies from Flourish. Everything is so pretty and delicious! -

At our tasting we decided on red velvet cake with vanilla buttercream frosting, and it was an excellent choice. Taryn was super nice and very professional, and we felt the price was excellent as well. So glad we went with Taryn and Flour(ish)! Highly recommended! -

Wonderful Cake and Favors for Our Wedding!
Taryn of Flour(ish) baked our cake and created favors for our wedding, and both were absolutely wonderful. Even though our budget was extremely tight, Taryn was committed to bake the very best cake. My husband is not very much into sweets, but even he was impressed by Taryn’s cake from our tasting. We were also extremely glad for her reasonable prices. We chose a rustic theme for our wedding, so we knew we wanted a semi-naked cake decorated with golden drizzle and real flowers on top. The cake that Taryn brought us was exactly what we wanted. We are still getting comments nearly a month after the wedding about how great the cake tasted. Not being that experienced in wedding prep, we were a bit at a loss of what to do for our favors. After discussing it with Taryn for a bit, she quickly came up with a couple of ideas to meet our budgetary needs and couldn’t be happier with the final result. We decided on bags of cookies - simple and yet elegant. She prepared all decorative aspects of the favor bags, which was a large load off our plate. We could not recommend Taryn any more highly, and we know that we will be back in the future for other cakes. In fact, rather than saving the top layer of our cake and eating stale cake a year later, my husband and I have already decided that we will return to Flour(ish) and order a small cake to celebrate our one year anniversary. -
