Loved the floral arch and the bouquets that Angela created for us. From the very start she was flexible and ended up creating the vision I wanted. My bouquet was intended to be a recreation of my moms bouquet from when she got married and Angela pulled through despite the not great quality pictures I shared with her. The sweet heart table was also overflowing with flowers.

Angela has such a talent and eye for design it is truly incredible. I was just married at Whitby Castle and Angela and her team entirely transformed the space. Angela is an expert artist through and through. I didn’t think flowers could bring me such joy on my wedding day but the whole process from selecting the flowers, to seeing the sketch, to seeing the real thing in person before the big day to make any final tweaks showed just how much she cared about our day being perfect. Floriography is nothing short of spectacular. Angela cares so deeply and it shows in her work from the center pieces all the way through to the little accents added to the cocktail room, the staircase, the sweetheart table and more. From start to finish, Angela was an absolute pleasure to work with. Her talent and creativity shine through her work , but what really sets Floriography apart is Angela's level of professionalism and consideration. Having to reschedule our wedding 3 times due to the pandemic came with many challenges. Angela was so accommodating and thoughtful throughout our (3 year!) planning and re-planning process. We were never met with any hesitation with changes to color schemes, design, amount of flowers, etc. Since our date changed so many times, we had plans for different seasons with slight variations. With each change we threw her way, Angela maintained focus on my request for seasonally available flowers. Each time she was willing and able to support this and made recommendations accordingly. It was easy to get discouraged having to edit our plans each time, but with Angela's support she made this process as enjoyable as possible. Having regular correspondence with her kept my mind at ease that no matter how many challenges came our way, Angela would handle it! Angela took creative liberties that made our wedding more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. She stuck with our overall plan, but took extra thoughtful steps that blew us all away on the day of the event. I could not have been happier! It was a relief to have a team like Floriography as a vendor. I was so thankful to be able to put my complete trust in them and know everything was being handled with such a level of care. Angela is seriously the sweetest person in the world. It’s easy to see how much she cares about her work. She took the time to go over every detail and brought the vision in my head to life. When we started discuss what kind of flowers I wanted I said that I love peonies but I know they’re kind of pricey. She worked up a quote that captured everything I could dream of but it was a little bit above my budget. I suggested we lose the peonies to stay within my budget and her response was, “No, you want peonies, we’re going to give you peonies.” She managed to work within my budget and I still got everything I wanted and more. I also had a special request to add a flower from my mom’s wedding bouquet and future mother in law’s bouquet to mine and all I had to work with were 2 old blurry pictures. Her attention to detail is priceless and you’re truly getting flowers that are personalized for you. The bouquets, centerpieces and ceremony backdrop were all absolutely exquisite. Several of my guests commented on how beautiful the flowers were. Floriography is absolutely amazing and I cannot recommend them enough.

Angela was amazing! On our first appointment Angela took the time going over everything with us and putting together different samples and drawing out ideas to come out with the best option for us. Angela created amazing centerpieces, arch for our vows, sweetheart tables, and even lanterns for our ceremony. All our florals were amazing and she even attached picture charms of family members to our bouquet and boutonniere. Angela is a sweetheart and just so easy to work with! Everyone still tells us that they loved our centerpieces and all the design!

A Floral Genius!
I can not say enough about the amazing work that Angela and her team did for our December wedding! She started working with us months in advance to discuss our ideas and took MANY phone calls to fine tune our plans as things continued to evolve over the last few months leading up to the wedding due to COVID. The flowers Angela delivered were STUNNING! She captured everything I had been dreaming about and gave us a stunning winter wedding with slight holiday touches without being overly 'christmasy'.
Angela is truly excited and inspired by what she does and you can see that in the quality of the florals she delivers. I would hands down recommend her to any bride! You will NOT be disappointed!!

Angela was recommended to us by our planner and I'll admit I was so nervous that the vision I had in my head wouldn't be able to be duplicated but she did such an amazing job! My bouquet and my girls bouquets were exquisite. I still can't stop thinking about my bouquet, the gorgeous flowers she used. I had peonies and hot chocolate calla lilies (a flower I never even heard of until we started designing for our wedding) and I can't even explain the joy when I walked into the ballroom. Her love for what she does was in every floral element of that room! We were in love with our sweetheart table and got so many compliments on the flowers and all the candles. She is highly recommended by us and we hope we can work with her for something in the future!!

An Angel!!!
You can’t spell Angela without angel! I was first introduced to Angela by my planner. She portrayed extreme professionalism and true passion for her craft. Angela took the time to sit with us for almost two hours educating us on all the flowers and options we had to bring our vision to life! Angela took a sketch and ran with it! I not once had any reservations or worries about a single thing!! She listened to our budget needs and not once pushed us to go with something that was out of our reach. She listened to my many questions and not once looked annoyed or in a rush to leave.
Once my husband and I decided to postpone our wedding and then revert to our original date, Angela worked with our planner with no questions asked. Once I arrived at our ceremony location, I was astonished by the beauty! I could not believe this came from a sketch! The flowers and details were absolutely breathtaking! We only needed floriography to decorate our ceremony arch because we had a family friend doing our wedding flowers. Angela was amazing to work with. She was not pushy and was very patient. She did exactly what we asked for and worked with our budget. Everything was set up efficiently and beautifully for our big day! She even made the decor detachable so that we could use it on the fireplace for our reception. Absolutely beautiful flowers!! Got so many compliments on them and how well they matched the dresses and how beyond beautiful our centerpieces were. Angela took all of my Pinterest ideas and created the most beautiful arrangements for us. When my bouquet was first shown to me I instantly gasped and cried the happiest tears. She was always available to talk and even to set everything we had up for us the morning of the wedding. She is the sweetest person and I highly recommend her and her team. Angela was so great to work with! I really didn't know anything about wedding flowers when starting to plan. I was able to bring Angela inspiration photos of what I had envisioned and she was able to point me in the right direction with various arrangements while still maintaining affordability. Angela, the owner of floriography, is simply amazingly talented and is priced extremely reasonable!!! She was the only florist we went to and what sold us was that she does the picture board!! I can’t remember exactly what it’s called but when you first meet her and talk about what you’re looking for etc., she draws it by hand and shows you at your next appt (although now she uses a computer program to help draw it to be faster) and it includes your centerpiece and all the bouquets so that you get an idea as to what it will look like!! It’s so cool to be able to see it before hand and I don’t know of other florist that do that as I did see some at other bridal shows who don’t do that. Additionally, she will put together a centerpiece for you with the real flowers for a demo so that you can see what it will be at no cost to you! She was very easy to work with and so helpful! The day of the wedding, all flowers and bouquets everywhere came out even more gorgeous than I could’ve imagined!! Angela and her team did an absolutely outstanding job and I’d hire her again in a heartbeat for any event, etc.!

To say Angela and her team were amazing is an understatement. Angela turned my vision of a forest wedding into reality. We had handmade trees with wildflowers underneath them as our centerpieces, wildflower bunches on the windows and decor tables, and a huge wood display in front of the head table which was covered with flowers, candles, moss, lanterns. All the bouquets and boutonnieres were followed the wildflower theme. All of the flowers were fresh, beautiful, and absolutely everywhere. I shed a few tears walking into the ballroom the first time. Angela is amazing! We originally thought we would try to DIY our own flowers, but as the wedding date got closer and we got busy with work, we decided that maybe hiring a professional would be best. I was worried that looking for a florist so close to the date (2-3 months) would be expensive and difficult but not so.
Floriography was recommended by our venue, so we gave Angela a call to see if she was available. She immediately got back to us and scheduled an appointment for the same week. It was great to collaborate with her on our centerpieces and ceremonial arch as we had already purchased and built some elements for them. Her recommendation and designs really complemented with our pieces.

Angela was seriously a wedding day dream come true. My wedding was this past April 8th. I had a vision and she met it above and beyond. I envisioned lanterns and smaller floral arrangements as my center pieces and instead of me having to go out and buy the lanterns on my own, Angela was able to rent out the lanterns from her shop to me (at an extremely reasonable rate) and that was one less thing I had to worry about getting myself. The candle lighting of the lanterns provided such a beautiful ambiance and the gerber daisys in smaller vases surrounding them were so magical and springy. She stayed until my ceremony ended and worked so quickly with the staff to get the tables set up for the reception (during cocktail hour). Everything looked perfect and more than I even could have hoped. My guests were approaching me all night saying how beautiful the room was and how amazing the transformation was from ceremony to reception.
The bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages were PERFECT. I really can't say enough about them. She only used the freshest calla lilies and roses. She guided me leading up to the wedding which colors would go best with my theme and for the wedding party and myself. She truly has an eye for art and all things beautiful.
I cannot recommend Angela and her team enough. She has a true talent and her vision is matchless. Not to mention very reasonable prices. My younger sister will be getting married within the next few years and we already know to return to Angela for her special day.

Angela was an absolute joy to work with throughout my wedding planning and preparation. She provided excellent floral recommendations to bring my wedding dreams to life. She provided hand made drawings of the vision she created for our day along with additional decorations (flowers for our wedding cake, sweetheart table, and burlap and lace runners) and vases for the church, cocktail hour and reception. Angela completely blew away every expectation I had and amazed me with her art and talent. She is excellent with communication and worked well within my budget. The bouquets, bouteniers, church/cocktail/reception decor were absolutely BREATHTAKING! I received comments all day/night long. I didn't have an exact vision of what my centerpieces should look like. I didn't have a theme in mind but after consulting with Angela, I was able to express the feelings I wanted to evoke. I wasn't able to meet with her in person but she was flexible enough to Skype with me twice to discuss ideas. All I knew were the flowers I liked, the ones I didn't and that I wanted something classical and romantic for a summer evening reception. I let Angela know what colors we were going with and she created truly beautiful centerpieces and bouquets. I was so happy with how they turned out - I recommend Floriography Designs and especially Angela to anyone.

If you are in the NJ area and looking to have BEAUTIFUL flowers on your wedding day, look no further! Angela did the bouquets, centerpieces and ceremony decorations for my wedding and she really brought my vision to life! I was very particular about the "look" i wanted to have at the wedding and i also had a pretty strict budget. Angela walked me through every step of the process from our first meeting together. She helped me decide on what flowers would give the "look" i wanted while staying within my budget and also helped me decide how to give my reception some variety with different size centerpieces on various tables throughout. All the while more than willing to help me stay within my budget (which other florists did not seem willing to do!) When i saw my bouquet's on the morning of my wedding, they were exactly as i had hoped and when i walked into my ceremony area and reception i was blown away by what a spectacular job she did! People were SO excited to take home her gorgeous centerpieces when they left the wedding and I have been hearing non stop praises for how gorgeous they were!! She truly is an artist and is so talented. She even did a "vision board" after our first meeting where she drew water color paintings of the bouquets and centerpieces to ensure we were on the same page! Angela from Floriography Designs is a talented artist and a pleasure to work with! Throughout the entire planning process, Angela was kind, responsive, flexible, and generous with her time. Knowing next to nothing about flowers, I was naturally overwhelmed by having to make so many decisions. However, Angela made me feel at ease and helped make the decision making process more manageable. After our first meeting, Angela created a color board to give me an idea of how the arrangements and bouquets will look. When I had a change-of-heart about the color palette, she was very flexible and accommodating. We were able tweak the arrangements and bouquets to fit my new vision. She was also very helpful in finding ways to stay within budget.
On the day of the wedding, everything was delivered on time and set up beautifully. The centerpieces and arrangements were truly spectacular. I was also happy with the bouquets and boutonnières. This is long over due but Angela and Floriography Designs did an EXCELLENT job at our wedding last year. We had to book her last minute when our other florist fell through, and she did above and beyond. Not only were the flowers exactly what we wanted, but she also decorated our venue lobby with flowers of our wedding colors. Angela is more than a florist. She is a true artist. She provided all the flowers for my wedding party, reception centerpieces and arrangements for the church. Prior to the wedding, Angela puts together a bulletin board with detailed sketches of each flower/arrangement- so unique and useful! However, these did not do the actual arrangements any justice! I had a very specific vision of what I wanted my bridal bouquet to look like- a cascading bouquet (which evidently is very uncommon these days) of orchids. When it arrived the morning of the wedding I was blown away by how perfect it was! The flowers at the church and reception were beautiful as well. At our first meeting, I was torn about choosing centerpieces because I love candles but I also wanted to incorporate flowers. Angela worked with us to alternate tables of high cylinder vases with crystal candles surrounded by a low wreath of flowers. When we arrived at the reception, we couldn't believe how many flowers were in each arrangement- they were huge and so beautiful! She is very reasonably priced for the quality of her work. She is also so sweet and easy to work with. We left the flowers from our table arrangements at our venue overnight with plans to pick them up in the morning to take home. However, when we arrived to pick them up, we were told that they had already been taken back by the florist. After I called Angela to discuss the miscommunication, she had all of the flowers delivered to my house which is an hour away from her studio! I highly recommend Floriography Designs if you are looking for not only a great florist but an artist!

I was living in Los Angeles while planning my NJ wedding, and Angela skyped with me, sent me photos, everything to help me during the process of selecting flowers for my wedding. She met with my parents and came up with great ideas to add to our thoughts for the wedding. I definitely had a great time working with Angela. WOW. Gorgeous, creative, and fun. I LOVED my flowers on my wedding day!! Guests were fighting about who could take them home at the end of the wedding. Angela was easy to work with and was able to make changes for me throughout the process. She is sweet and prepares a color board for you before you book with her so you can picture what they will look like. She is also extremely affordable, but does not skimp on anything. My centerpieces and bouquets looked amazing, and she set up the ceremony space exactly as I wanted it. She sent each write up including details of what specifically was included and pricing, and if something was missing or incorrect, she promptly adjusted it. Floriography was an AMAZING choice for our wedding! Our venue (Perona Farms) told us about them, and it couldn't have been a better recommendation. First off, Angela is one of the most warm, personable people I have come across. That she genuinely loves what she does is apparent within two minutes. That it is a small, family-run business is also a huge plus. Flowers were a weak spot for me in my planning process, but Angela patiently listened and gave advice to help me figure out what I wanted. A couple days after our consultation, she sent me BEAUTIFUL water color sketches that she did herself to show what the various arrangements would look like... and this is even before we had committed to signing a contract! Angela truly wants you to be happy. She doesn't pressure you into anything; instead, she listens attentively and works tirelessly to give you designs that fit your taste and your budget. We had a slight communication issue in the weeks leading up to the wedding, but she arrived on time on the big day and did an ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS job. All of my bridesmaids were blown away by the unique bouquets, and the guests were wowed by the centerpieces involving submerged flowers and candles. I would HIGHLY recommend them for your own wedding. Thank you so much, Angela -- your flowers gave so much beauty to our day!!

I cannot say enough nice things about Angela and Floriography! She brought our wedding vision to life in exactly the way we imagined plus more! From the beginning, Angela had great ideas and made them a reality! I shared with her the flowers I envisioned for our day and she made a watercolor painting of them! It was such a unique way to get an idea of what everything would look like once it came together! I also had some concerns about the ceremony space at our reception and Angela came up with a beautiful idea of creating an 8'x10' curly willow branch wall with a floral cascade. It was incredible and worth every penny! She also searched high and low for the perfect lanterns to go with our decor. The centerpieces and bouquets were exquisite! There was one little hiccup when the personal flowers were all delivered to my home instead of boutonnières going to my husband's hotel (this was because my dad was the one home to receive them and he did not know), but Angela sent the delivery guy right back to the house and he brought them over to the hotel! We made the right choice when choosing Floriograph. Everything was gorgeous and affordable! Thank you Angela!

My experience
Angela and her team were very attentive and professional throughout the whole wedding process. Angela always picked up her phone/ text back right away and was willing to make an appointment if I wanted to meet. I would recommend her to anyone who wants gorgeous flowers at a great price. Angela made sure everything ran smoothly and though I didn’t take many pictures of my flowers with my phone they all looked great !!

Angela was really great to work with! We knew we did not want to spend a ton of money on flowers and many other florists made us feel like our budget was a joke. Angela was able to work with us and our wedding coordinator to get us tons of beautiful flowers! We honestly were surprised how much there was on our wedding day. Everything was gorgeous and she really listened to what we asked for.

Angela, the owner, is wonderful. She is extremely creative and really listens to what you want , both design-wise and budget-wise. Every client gets personalized service. She has great ideas and works very hard to make sure her customers are satisfied. The flowers at our wedding were absolutely beautiful and just what Angela promised. I cannot recommend Floriography highly enough. Use them, you will not be disappointed!!

Angela was great. I got a lot of compliments on my flowers, however In the beginning of planning she was somewhat hard to get on the same page with, and for some reason all of the flowers, even the guys, ended up in my room. At last minute, I had to have one of my bridesmaids run the flowers down to the grooms suite for photos. Also, we had to keep paying close attention to the contract because if we deducted something from the wedding, something else would end up being a different price.
Everything was beautiful and her prices were very fair. I would just recommend each bride pay attention to the prices, everything else was great. As soon as she gave me her cell phone number, she would text me and respond to text messages anytime I had a question, and promptly.

Angela was absolutely amazing. I HIGHLY recommend Floriography to anyone looking for an amazing florist who can bring your vision to life. She was so patient with me as I knew nothing about flowers and had a hard time expressing my vision. With our conservative budget she was able to work with us making it look like a million dollars and even better that I could have ever imaged. When I walked into our ballroom on the day of our wedding I was blown away. Plus, the new shop in Rockaway is gorgeous and so worth stopping into. Thank you Angela!!

Angela did an amazing job with our flowers. At first I was not so into the flower part of our wedding. I didn't know what I wanted and wasn't really excited about it. After meeting with Angela, she changed my mind within 10 minutes. I showed her a few pictures of what I liked from pintrest (shocker), and she brought it alive! She kept it simple and gave me suggestions that I would have never even thought of. She is so sweet and you can tell from a mile away that she loves what she does and puts her heart into it. Our arrangements were lovely and I would use her again in a heartbeat!

Angela is such a pleasure to work with! She met with me 3 times (including the initial consultation) before my wedding to make sure that we were on the same page. I wanted my centerpieces done in a particular way with specific water lilies and colors and her team really came through. My guests loved them and I couldn't be happier. Angela's work was excellent for the price point she gave us (all other florists I contacted charged WAY out of our budget) and she even throws in complimentary little centerpieces for your cocktail hour which is thoughtful. I would definitely recommend Angela and her team at Floriography!

Beyond flowers!
Angela truly understands how to bring flowers to another level when it comes to weddings! After my mom and I went to speak with Angela for our first consultation, we immediately felt confident that she was the right florist for my wedding. Angela is a true artist and really takes the time to understand what you're looking for (even if you can't fully verbalize it) and transforms your vision beyond expectation. We were blown away by how beautiful the bouquets, boutonnières, sweetheart table, mantle and pedestals were with the vibrant array of flowers she used, and my husband and I cannot count how many positive comments we received from guests who were in love with the arrangements. A great experience from start to finish!

Ruined alter and sweetheart flowers
My daughter’s wedding was this past weekend. We are very upset with the services received. The most important decor, the broken arch, that was at the alter and then supposed to moved to the sweetheart table, was not what we ordered. They sent a square arch instead of a broken arch that was supposed to be two tall curved arches. When I confronted her of their error, she said she could fix it, even though the ceremony was starting in 30 minutes. She literally gave us a broken arch! She removed the top of the arch and left us with 2 straight towers that looked ridiculous. Literally had two poles that were scarcely decorated! She Never asked us if what she “fixed”was ok. We didn’t get to see the disaster until we entered in for the ceremony. I will gladly post pictures.
Then the centerpieces were not what was on our order. We ordered high and low centerpieces and they were all high!
Lastly, we went to the venue the next day to pick up the centerpieces and the florist took the flowers back with them when they picked up their candelabras. No one gave them permission to take the flowers that we paid a lot of money for!
We called today, Presidents Day, since she did not respond to our emails over the weekend and her reply was that this is her holy day and we can’t pick up the flowers and yesterday was her family day. Poor customer service!!!
I am adding a picture of what the broken arch should have looked like and was similar to one that she had made in her shop when we placed our order.

Do NOT recommend if communication and attention to detail are important to you!
***PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW IN ITS ENTIRETY BEFORE BOOKING WITH FLORIOGRAPHY/PAYING THE DEPOSIT***
We were married last week, and hired Floriography for our wedding flowers and signage at the glowing recommendation of our venue. Sadly, this is the ONLY wedding vendor we used that we would hesitate to recommend. I will say that Angela's work is beautiful, HOWEVER, that doesn't make up for the following issues we experienced:
1. LACK OF COMMUNICATION- We didn't realize that Angela prefers texts over emails, and had to get our venue involved when our multiple emails went unanswered for WEEKS (emails as simple as asking if our deposit was received and if our booking was confirmed). They should hire an assistant if they aren't able to answer client emails; a business which supports email as a form of communication should be comfortable and competent communicating via that channel. Texts are not really appropriate when you are attempting to ask multiple questions/seek clarification on multiple details. When you are wedding planning, you do NOT need the added stress that lack of communication brings.
2. MULTIPLE DETAILS COMPLETELY WRONG ON WEDDING DAY: We were supposed to get our seating chart printed on a large 10-foot gold mirror, however it was done on an acrylic see-through sign. We were supposed to get lilies (my favorite flower) in our table centerpieces per our contract (which I'm sure was built into our pricing and we paid for), but they were not included. When setting up our tables at the venue, they placed the wrong table #s on 2 tables, which wasn't caught until guests had already been seated and there was nothing we could do to rectify the situation. When speaking with Angela about these issues after our wedding, she was apologetic (of note, however, no refund amount was offered), although she basically blamed me that the example seating chart I sent her wouldn't work in the mirror design we had chosen (but she never reached out to discuss this with me), she told me the lilies weren't included because she didn't put them in the centerpiece mock-up which I had approved prior to the wedding (I had forgotten to check for the lilies when we were at our final appointment [hello, wedding stress!], but inquired about them TWICE afterwards once I realized I didn't see them and those inquiries were clearly never read), and blamed our venue for giving them the wrong seating chart for the table # mishap (which wasn't the case, as the venue caught the mistake, albeit too late).
In summary, I would think twice before paying Floriography for their services (which were not inexpensive, by the way) when what they delivered was NOT 100% what was agreed upon in our written contract/invoice. You will go through enough stress with the wedding planning process itself, and do NOT need further frustration from a vendor who lacks communication skills and attention to detail!

First off, She gave a price and I guess messed up on it and demanded we give her an extra $300.
Second, I ordered baby's breathe head pieces and showed multiple pictures that was very dainty and have very few flowers on it so it did not overpower the bridesmaids heads. When she got to the venue the headpieces were HUGE. It looked like the girls had bouquets on their heads. Angela proceeded to be very rude to me THE BRIDE... on my wedding day. She was saying that she doesn't do this for girl and that she was doing extra. If she had made them correctly the first time she wouldn't have had to trim each head piece.
Finally, there were 7 bridesmaids and 1 maid of honor and she only brought 7 total. We paid for 8 but she bagel to yell at me again saying that it wasn't what we had ordered.
She was very nice prior to the day of the wedding and the flowers were very pretty. Just did not need the added stress on the day of my wedding.

Angela and Florigraphy absolutely ruined my wedding day. She showed up with our flowers 90 minutes late to the wrong place. She included ferns we had discussed 6 weeks earlier not including. Further, she did not bring the correct amount of bouquets. My corsages all broke.

I cannot evaluate Quality of service, or value or flexibility as we never heard from the vendor again after our first meeting, despite numerous emails and phone messages left. I am extremely disappointed with this vendor. I met her at the Perona Farms Bridal Show. To begin, I (mother of the bride) made an appointment with Angela for the middle of September, and spoke with her, confirming this appointment. Yet, when I called on the day of the appointment to see if we could meet a bit earlier, her response was that she had no record of our appointment, but she would squeeze us in (me, my daughter and the groom) at the original time. Circumstances changed slightly, and it ended that the groom and I met with Angela. We had, I thought, a very productive meeting, and both the groom and I were rather impressed and excited by what Angela had discussed with us. She wrote down.three email addresses, mine, my daughter's and the groom's, and promised that she would email a proposal along with drawings of what she had in mind to do. She even gave us a specific date that we could expect the emails, That date came and went a month ago and, as I said, she has not responded to a single email, nor returned a single phone call. At this point I would be afraid to use her.
