Absolutely Amazing

Sara was the florist for our August wedding and she was absolutely amazing. The flowers were so beautiful. I had sent her a photo of my bridesmaid dresses before we met and she managed to find roses in the exact same shade of purple. Her arrangements were stunning and they made the reception room smell incredible too. Everything was the exact look that I wanted for my wedding. Sara is also a pleasure to work with. Very sweet and responsive. It was great to meet her at her home/studio a month before the wedding to talk everything through and see samples. The bud vases for cocktail hour and the flowers on the cake that she included at no cost were a great touch as well. Sara also had the idea to get my two little flower girls magic wands to go with their petal baskets that they could carry down the aisle, which was so cute and they loved them. I cannot recommend Sara enough! One of my favorite vendors that I booked for my wedding.

Sara made all my floral fantasies come true!

Not only is Sara extremely talented and passionate about what she does, but she was so incredibly great to work with. She was able to perfectly match my vision (and make it even better than I expected) with only a few phone calls. When we did our meetup before the event, I walked in to her shop and my mom started crying. It was literally everything we ever wanted and more. And then on the day of the wedding, somehow the bouquets were even more beautiful than the samples we saw the month before.

Sara was able to combine all of the unique color combos and styles I had in mind and brought my wedding decor to the next level. I couldn't be more grateful to have worked with her to make my wedding floral dreams come true. Thank you, Sara!

An amazing florist you have to use

We recently worked with Sara for our big day and couldn't have been happier with the result. From the beginning, Sara worked with us to stay within our budget.

Sara truly understood our vision and brought it to life in the most beautiful way. The wedding florals were stunning and exactly what we had imagined. Sara was also great at incorporating our personal touches and making suggestions to enhance the overall look.

Not only were the flowers gorgeous, but Sara was a pleasure to work with. She was professional, organized, and attentive to our needs. Sara made the process stress-free and we are so grateful for her hard work and dedication (even as we were met with delay-after-delay due to the height of Covid).

Stunning Florals

Sara did our florals for our late October wedding and we could not have been happier with how they came out! The color scheme and feel was perfect for setting a magical autumnal mood. We had Sara add some greenery to our tent and it took the whole feeling to another level. I don't have our professional pictures yet but can't wait for them to admire all of the beautiful work that was put in. She truly brought my vision to life and was a delight to work with.

Gorgeous, Romantic Flowers

Working with Sara was a wonderful experience! We had to delay due to Covid, and ended up not having a church for the final reception, and she was very accommodating and flexible with changes. Every time we met with her in person, she was a delight! I wanted to do something unique with antique books as centerpieces and she was great when I didn't have much of a clear vision. My tablescapes, centerpieces, and bouquets were absolutely gorgeous and boho-- exactly what I wanted! Highly recommend.

Stunning Flowers

Sara provided us with absolutely stunning floral arrangements. From our very first phone call, I felt that she understood exactly what we were looking for. Everything from our ceremony decorations, to bouquets and table centerpieces were gorgeous. Our guests commented on how elegant all of the floral decorations were. Color and creativity

The flowers that Sara and her team put together for our fall wedding were absolutely beautiful. When Sara and I originally spoke over the phone, I thought I wanted blush colors mixed with some darker tones, but as our wedding planning developed, I decided I wanted color and lots of it! When we met in person, Sara showed me what she could provide and I was definitely pleased, but when our bouquets arrived I was so happy I cried. Sara and team certainly delivered on my vision. So much color and she was able to get some peonies in the bouquets. Sara is also willing to work within a tight budget. She used candles and creative little bud vases to mix up the centerpieces on each table. I really enjoyed my experience with Sara and certainly recommend her to any future brides

Amazing Experience!

Working with Sara was such an enjoyable experience! I found Sara online and made an apt to visit her shop. At the appointment Sara asked me a bunch of questions to help paint a picture of what I envisioned for the day. As I thought through and shared my responses, Sara mocked up floral arrangements and centerpieces right at the table in front of me. She brought my words to reality. It was so exciting to see my preferences come to fruition and also reassuring to work with an expert. Previously, I had visited a few other shops in the area and my experience greatly differed - consisting mainly of long-winded questionnaires centered around price with no in-person visuals. When spending so much money (especially when you’re not too familiar with the space), it’s helpful to see live samples.

While bringing my interests to life, Sara helped evolve the details - bringing in new ideas to complement the vibe that I hadn’t even thought of. The entire experience was positive, productive and rewarding. I left having a firm plan in place - one that I was very excited about - with someone I whole heartedly trusted.

All communication afterwards with seamless, as was the day of operations, as Sara’s team worked directly with our venue. Everything was taken care of for us. And the final product was exquisite - more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. My theme was boho chic, consisting mainly of greenery and herbs (multiple species eucalyptus, lavender, rosemary, willow twigs, etc.) and candles galore intermixed within golden geometric holders. We had a combination of runners, and high and low arrangements that brought so much life to the space. The vibe was romantic, in-touch with nature, and oh my goodness did the room smell amazing (lavender/rosemary/eucalyptus combination).

I highly recommend working with Sara - she is an artist and joy to work with.

Top-quality results and a great experience

Sara did an absolutely beautiful job with our wedding flowers. She received my vision, which included not only a color scheme but accessories (candles, fruit, lanterns), with an open mind and found creative was to bring the vision to life. The flowers themselves looked absolutely gorgeous and so many of my guests (and our other vendors) commented on them. I can't recommend Sara highly enough!

Sara made us the most beautiful floral arrangements for our wedding, we couldn’t have been happier! When I first talked to Sara, I couldn’t figure out how to share my pinterest board with her (struggles) but she was able to basically read my mind and come up with the perfect arrangements from just a quick description. The whole floral fantasies team was so easy to work with and our flowers were stunning. We got so many compliments on the arrangements throughout the night, they were exactly what I wanted and I am so happy we went with Sara!

Beautiful Flowers for our Wedding

Sara did a fantastic job bringing our floral vision to life for our wedding. Given the nature of our table set up and family style dinner service we went with a different arranagement set up - we did not do large centerpieces, rather long table runners with scattered roses and lots of candles - it came out beautifully. Truth be told we probably budgeted less for flowers than most (just a guess) and throughout the process I never felt as though Sara was pushing us to go bigger or fancier or more expensive. From our first conversations through the set up on our big day, Sara was a complete joy to work with. Her professionalism, joyful personality and communicative nature make her a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Flowers

We picked Sara and her team as our florist after reviewing dozens of vendors and never looked back. Sara stayed true to our vision and within our budget, delivering top quality work, from centerpieces, to personals, to the gorgeous garland that adorned our ceremony tree. Her input was always professional and creative, advising us on how to improve our vision while remaining practical (we had a family style dinner and had to be make sure that our centerpieces allowed for all the food to be placed comfortably). She also advised us against ordering expensive out-of-season flowers and suggested wonderful alternatives. On the day of the wedding, her team arrived on time and coordinated the set up seamlessly. At the end of the day, we got exactly what we wanted! Creative, professional and easy to work with, Sara is a great addition to any wedding team!

Sara created the most magical and beautiful floral arrangements that I have ever seen. We had the extreme pleasure to work with her for my daughter's wedding on 9/21/2018 held at Red Maple Vineyards. I literally lost count of all the compliments we received for the flowers. At least 30 people told me they were the prettiest flowers they have ever seen at a wedding and I concur wholeheartedly. If I could give her 100 stars, I would. She is the only florist to go to in my book!!!

We used Floral Fantasies for our wedding and I was NOT disappointed. My mom and I only met with Sara once (this was our choice- we had a lot going on in the months leading up the the wedding) a few weeks before the wedding and she went over everything with us. We loved working with Sara. Floral Fantasies helped make our wedding perfect in a way that’s hard to even articulate. Basically, there will be flowers and bouquets and boutonnieres and the like at a wedding. And probably with most weddings, you don’t pay these things much attention. They are just kind of background color. But by working closely with Sara and with her careful attention and amazing eye, the floral aspects of our wedding just popped in a way that made the whole wedding more special. We had a general idea of the kind of floral arrangements we wanted, and the color scheme, and through a process of figuring out what worked for us and what didn’t, we reached an end result that was eyecatching without being overbearing and perfectly complemented our ceremony and reception. In addition to all the floral accents and the bouquet, Sara also set up for us a beautiful four-post arch that, in the venue we chose, just completely made the ceremony unique and special and very, very us. A successful wedding is a combination of a lot of decisions. You might not notice when you make a decision about a vendor that is just ok, but you kind of feel it. But you will definitely notice when you make the right decision. Floral Fantasies is the right decision for your wedding.

Working with Sara was a dream, she turned our "blank space venue" into the most magical place place to get married. Sara and her team created the most beautiful arrangements for our May 2018 wedding. I came to our first consultation with a detailed list of all of my wishes and Sara was amazing about working with us to make my Pinterest dreams come true within budget. She worked with us, providing options in areas I wasn’t quite sure what I wanted. The best part was the month-before preview where you get to see a sample of a centerpiece ahead of time based on in-season flowers.

I’ve seen so many issues with other wedding florists from friends weddings and I was ecstatic to see my wedding flowers the day of. They were even more gorgeous that I dreamed– and I have very high standards from working in events :) Sara went above and beyond, added extra florals that she had leftover throughout the venue to make the day even more gorgeous.

I received so many compliments on how amazing the flowers were from all of the guests. If you are looking for a true floral designer, Sara is your girl.

Floral Fantasies by Sara made my Pinterest dream wedding come true! Jessica and Sara were so fabulous to work with, I live in Washington, DC and my wedding was up in the Hudson Valley, and we communicated exclusively via email until our one in-person meeting. We were going for a rustic/boho autumn feel, and Jessica and Sara absolutely nailed it. We got married on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Red Maple Vineyard, and we had mixes of flat eucalyptus, burgundy dahlias, pink/white roses, and everything looked absolutely amazing. Our arch especially looked especially gorgeous - even better than a beautiful photo I had emailed to Sara and Jessica. My bouquet was also unbelievable gorgeous and exactly what I had wanted. An important tip, I stayed within my budget, and Sara and Jessica were very accommodating to make small changes so I could stay within my budget. Our one-on-one meeting was efficient and fun, and I knew at that meeting that we were in fantastic hands. No issues at all on the day of our wedding, everything went smoothly and on schedule, and all of the flowers and decor looked unbelievable. I have to say, I was absolutely blown away by the end result, by how beautiful our wedding decor looked, and it was with very minimal work on my end. Worth every penny, we are extremely thankful to have had such a fabulous experience, and my husband and I highly recommend Floral Fantasies by Sara!

My husband and I got married almost a year ago, and Sara and her team were amazing at helping us have the colors and look that we wanted for our wedding. They were really accommodating and helped us create the bouquets that I wanted for myself and my bridesmaids as well as the perfect center pieces and decorations for the venue. They also have many options of additional arrangements, like lining up flowers and vases along a corridor which makes the connection of one room to the other more colorful and intimate. The quality of the flowers were also fantastic and I couldn't have been happier with them.

It was overwhelming finding a florist for our wedding and Sara made everything so easy- they were willing to work with whatever budget we had and was SO so patient when I was trying to figure out what sort of look I wanted for the wedding day. I know this sounds like a cliche, but I'm not exaggerating when I say that my wedding day was an absolute dream come true thanks to Floral Fantasies by Sara. After staring endlessly at Pinterest, Instagram and Wedding Magazines, I finalized colors and the type of "vibe" (rustic, garden-style, romantic) that I wanted for my flowers and decor. Like most, you have this idea in your head and hope in your heart of what you want your wedding day to look like once everything comes together, but what Floral Fantasies by Sara designed absolutely exceeded all expectations. Unbelievably great service. Sara was always so responsive to our emails, our meetings were concise and efficient, and she NAILED IT with our wedding designs. Beautiful table garlands, gorgeous bridesmaid and bride bouquets, and sweet touches throughout that we didn't even ask for and were perfect. She also built a gold archway with flowers that I found on pinterest and she made it EXACTLY like the picture. We were speechless. She knows her flowers, she's great at listening to people who have no idea the names of flowers or specifics that they want, and to make it all looks so incredible all together. After some research online for a florist for our wedding we found Floral Fantasies by Sara and loved their work. We had a basic idea of what we wanted (very colorful) but had total confidence that Sara would deliver. We chatted a few times before the big day and saw our example centerpiece a week before the wedding. They were just what we were looking for. When they dropped off our bouquets on our wedding day I was so pleased with them – they were so beautiful! It was exactly what I had pictured. Our wedding flowers were gorgeous!

Sara came recommended by our wedding planner as the only florist to work with - and she did not disappoint! We had a fall wedding and our color was royal blue. I went in with my heart set on a royal blue wedding bouquet. Sara told me right away that she would recommend against it, as I did not want any of the flowers that are naturally blue, and any of the dyes used for flowers could come off on my hands and wedding dress! But, she quickly helped me get over my initial disappointment by working with me (and my mom and our planner) to design floral arrangements in beautiful bold fall colors in seasonal flowers. And the results were gorgeous. My bouquet stood out just enough and everything coordinated beautifully.

Sara truly came through for us. Her flowers were stunning and gave our tent the "wow" factor we were looking for. From wreaths for the front stone pillars to various food service table arrangements, to the tall centerpieces on each of the guest tables, her colors and arrangements were gorgeous. Breathtaking. So many guests asked where they had come from and I'd be surprised Sara didn't get some additional business from it. Sara was immediately responsive to every emailed question (unlike many florists in the area, who, when we were initially looking for a florist, we had to chase down). There were no surprises in the bill because her itemization of the expenses was so specific. Her prices are reasonable. And she was more than willing to work with us to make our very specific vision become a reality. We were VERY particular, and may have even driven her a bit crazy, but words cannot express the amount of work and the level of professionalism and quality displayed by Sara and her team. It was everything we had wanted. We cannot recommend Sara more highly.

Sara's attention to detail showed through and was very appreciated. I loved having the scraps from my dress wrapped around my bouquet. I also loved the sprigs of rosemary with the menu in the napkin. The center pieces were amazing. All of her suggestions throughout the whole process were spot on. The colors worked out perfectly. Sara helped to create the most perfect and beautiful wedding for me!

Sara was my only choice for a florist because she is hands down the best! She make you feel like your event is the most important one to her and helps with each little detail. She walked me through choosing center pieces when I had no idea what I wanted. And even threw in some flower headbands for my flower girls hair. My flowers were PERFECT!!!

Sara did an AWESOME job on the flowers for our October wedding. We picked Sara because my now-mother-in-law has gotten flowers from her for years and RAVES about the work she does and, from our experience, the raves are well-earned, indeed.

Sara was extremely helpful, flexible, and an overall joy to work with. We started out by reviewing the vibe I was going for and what my budget was. I wanted a laid back, eclectic, mismatched, natural look (mismatched bridesmaids dresses, drift wood and book page decorations, etc). Since we were getting married outside, in the Catskill mountains, most of the natural beauty came from our surroundings so we wanted flowers and centerpieces that matched that look. I sent her some pics and she mocked up a list of options based on that aesthetic and then talked through them with me. She was comfortable working with my price point and had lots of great ideas about how to incorporate different elements and textures to make the overall look absolutely beautiful.

We scheduled a "preview" of sorts a couple of months before the wedding, where she asked for my feedback. She was great about making sure the quote matched what we discussed and was open to shifting and changing based on what I requested. She delivered the flowers on time and did a PHENOMENAL job on the bouquets, boutonnieres, garland and centerpieces.

Overall, I would recommend her in a heartbeat. She is great at what she does and delivers quality, beautiful, and detailed work.

Use Floral Fantasies By Sara! You cannot go wrong. Sara listened to everything that I shared with her and my bouquets, centerpieces and everything else she put together were better than I could have imagined. She used such unique components and the arrangements were unlike any others I have seen. She provided these amazing birch boxes and birch candles that really pulled the theme together. She even supplied fresh rosemary as an added touch to the napkins. Her pricing was incredibly reasonable for the quality of her work!

From the initial approach with the suggested things to include to the end result could not have been more amazing. I wasn't entirely sure what I wanted... and Sara sends you basically a pre-statement of work with some ideas for centerpieces and ceremony if you request (and bouquets of course). This gives you some ideas of how you can expand the decor that you initially approached her with (i seriously said some centerpieces, with none of x or y flowers, and bouquets)... so... I needed some help :-). Everything turned out beautiful and was extremely reasonably priced for the quality!! She also does a mock-up of one of the centerpieces in person so you can see the suggested/probable flowers, colors... and go over what you like, don't like, and how you'd want it changed. For our ceremony, she constructed a birch arch with autumnal leaves and flowers and it truly made for a beautiful and unique ceremony setting. As we got married on halloween... she did some beautiful fall flowers in boxes and then a gourd/moss landscape that so unique yet pretty (i specifically said no tall arrangements as i hate those). She also went above and beyond to make sure all of the decor tied together for our cocktail hour. Truly... it would have looked so-so without her eye, help and touch.

Sara and Jessica made the most beautiful flower arrangements for our wedding! I sent them a ton of pictures in emails about the vision we had for our wedding and they put it all together perfectly. We had some last minute changes with our altar and trying to decide how to decorate it and Sara came up with a great idea involving garland and candles. It turned out beautiful and people were complimenting it all night. They also put together some GORGEOUS huge pieces to decorate our dinner space. I loved all the flowers and all the arrangements and could bot be happier with them. Definitely worth booking!

Sara and Jessica did a fantastic job on our wedding. We planned our NY-wedding from Boston and worked with Sara and Jessica just via email and phone and they were still able to understand our style and vision and made the flowers look more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. My bouquet was stunning and the centerpieces (we had different arrangements for each table) looked so perfect, all the guests wanted to take them home. They decorated the arch where our ceremony took place and it was so tasteful and perfect for the setting. Nothing was over the top and everything was just right.

Sara and Jessica were very flexible and helpful for working with our budget but still making sure we had the flowers we wanted and needed. They have exceeded all of my expectations! I would definitely recommend them.

Sara and Jessica did a fantastic job on our wedding! They understood our style and vision right away and made the wedding look like the dream wedding I had always pictured. My bouquet and all the girls bouquets were absolutely stunning and smelled amazing! The centerpieces were even more beautiful than the samples they showed us when we came up to the store. All the guests wanted to take one home! My husband, who normally couldn't care less about flowers, even loved his buttonhole! Everything was just so tasteful and perfect for the setting! Nothing was over the top, everything was just right. It was exactly the way I dreamed of! It was also very much affordable, compared to some of the other places we looked at. My husband and I were married in April 2015 at Highlands Country Club. Highlands referred us to Sara and she was able to work with my limited time frame and budget which I really appreciated! As I don't live in the area, I worked with both Sara and Jessica via phone and email which was fine. Both were always responsive and I was able to see and comment on a picture of a sample centerpiece before the wedding. I wanted a very simple, clean, natural and monochromatic look (mainly white flowers) which they handled beautifully! I was thrilled with the way everything turned out and highly recommend them!

I knew even before I was engaged that I wanted Sara's beautiful artistry at my wedding and her final work went way beyond expectations. She was incredible to work with, very flexible and full of original ideas that I have never seen anywhere else. Hiring Jessica from Floral Fantasies by Sarah as our florist and day of coordinator turned out to be a fantastic decision, and dollar for dollar the best money spent. I had minimal flowers at my wedding, but got TONS of compliments on them! We only did flowers for bridal party and immediate family, no floral centerpieces.

I went in with my color palette and a strong bias against lavendar. Sara understood. She helped me pick flowers within my budget and made beautiful arrangements. She used beautiful purples and oranges that photographed so well. I was surprised at how much I and everyone loved the flowers. They made a huge statement even though they were such a small part.

Definitely would use Sara again for another event!

FF by Sara was extremely responsive to our inquiry and did not try to upsell us, and that quickly won us over to her. We wanted simple, clean floral arrangements that gave our tables (and bridal party) a little bit of décor but were not overly complicated and would not be so large they blocked conversations across the table. Sara provided a detailed quote via email after we gave her general information about our wedding (number of guests, type of reception, budget). Her quote provided several options for each item (one kind of flower or a couple; one larger arrangement or a few small ones clustered together).
As my husband pointed out, she kept finding solutions to problems that others couldn’t solve. When we met in person and made our selections, Sara was also able to offer rental lanterns for a better price than the rental company, and she produced a stunning lighting arrangement above our dance floor for about ¼ the cost quoted by a lighting company. And, she did not push either of these additions on us—she didn’t even offer them until I asked.
Sara took our idea of a clean, crisp, and simple arrangement and really ran with it. She provided a very elegant and polished product within our relatively small budget. Having seen many examples of her work that were much more extravagant than ours, I am even more impressed that she and her team put the thought, time, and effort into a smaller budget job to make sure that it looked just as beautiful as the much higher-budget events she does.

We hired Floral Fantasies by Sara after a recommendation from our venue, the Garrison. After contacting other florists, we were told we had to spend a certain amount of money before they would even talk to us! Sara was wonderful, very respectful of our budget, with superior quality that showed through from past weddings we had seen. After coming to her with some ideas, she went out of her way to find the decor needed to make my ideas come to life. She made sure my flowers were perfect, putting together the gorgeous combinations to achieve the look I was going for. Working with Sara was awesome! She was exactly on point with the style of flowers I was looking for. She did a trial of the centerpieces for us to see and was super easy and flexible throughout the whole process.

From the very beginning, she was amazing. I was given her name and another florist to check out. Sara was respectful of our budget and never made us feel like we were being cheap. (I had asked another florist, Bella Fiore, for a bid- She missed our meeting, didn't apologize and name dropped who she was working for that was more important than our meeting.)

AMAZING! AMAZING! AMAZING! In a nutshell. Floral Fantasies by Sara was wonderful beyond words. I interviewed 4 florists and chose Floral Fantasies with the utmost confidence. The level of expertise is incredible. Upon my very first consultation with Sara I knew she would be my florist. With Floral Fantasies there is no budget too small or request to outrageous, they know their stuff. I gave Sara a few key words to describe what I wanted my wedding to feel and look like and she made my wedding a wonderland. Being from New York City I was not able to visit Sara's showroom, but Sara sent me some pictures and walked me through the process. She was patient, kind, extremely helpful in guiding me through all my thoughts. She never rushed me and she threw in so many little details and ideas that no other florist I spoke to even offered. 3 months after my wedding I am still receiving compliments on the floral arrangements. I use to hear that no one remembers the flowers. Well that's not true. With Floral Fantasies' work, EVERYONE remembered the flowers and said things like "It was a fairytale", "The flowers looked like a secret garden", "I thought I was dreaming when I saw those flowers", "Where did you find this florist?" amongst many other beautiful comments. Sara was amazing! I first met with Sara in the beginning stages of planning my wedding. I brought her pictures of flower arrangements that I liked.She knew immediately which photo was my favorite. Weeks before the wedding I sat down with Sara to go over what she had in mind based on what I had suggested. I was blown away by the arrangements. I called Sara a month before my wedding after I procrastinating about flowers. I thought they would be too expensive. My day-of coordinator referred me to Sara and Sara did not disappoint. When I called her I had no idea what kind of flowers I wanted; I only had a picture from Pinterest. I described it and she surely delivered. When the bouquet arrived it was beautiful along with the boutonnieres. At the last minute the bridesmaids' clutches I ordered on Etsy never arrived. My husband and I found Floral Fantasies through Todd Smith at The Garrison. Sara executed everything on our wedding day perfectly. The venue itself did not need much as it had floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Hudson River, but Sara was able to take that and bring it to another level, which was really something.

We met with Sara a few times in person, and conversed many times via email and phone. Sara and so much patience with me as I changed my mind quite a bit, and for a while didn't quite know what I wanted. She did such an amazing job, though. Our centerpieces were stunning, and full of bright spring colors in rustic wooden boxes, exactly how I wanted them. For the cocktail tables, Sara went above and beyond what was required of her and found us the specific bud vases we had seen in a picture, and was able to get the flowers as well, and everything came out beautifully. People are still commenting on how fabulous the flowers and decorations were!

My two favorite things that Sara did were decorating the pergola, and the lanterns above the dance floor. I didn't quite know what to expect with either as we had only talked about both, but boy does Sara know how to make a dream a reality! The pergola was a picture of beauty and a work of art. And the lanterns over the dance floor were the perfect colors to match our wedding, and they made it all the more romantic.

People were so excited to take the centerpieces home and even shipped them to relatives who were not able to make it! Sara paid attention to every detail, and was able to help direct me in a better direction when she knew from her experience that a certain color, flower or size combination would not work. We came to Sara after a bad experience with another florist who was not meeting expectations - and we hired her just a few weeks before our wedding. But even though she came late in the game, it was as though she read my mind about what we wanted. She did the most perfect job.

I didn't think I cared that much about how flowers looked, but once I saw what Sara had created for us I realized I was wrong. Our centerpieces were breathtaking and capitalized on the natural beauty of the venue -- I LOVED my bouquet so much! Every detail was perfect - the burlap wrappings around the bouquets, the bud vases on our cocktail tables, the high arrangements on the gift table, even the little flowers that went in our flower girls hair - Sara flawlessly executed our vision.

Words cannot express how beautiful Sara made my venue look. The venue was naturally stunning with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the hudson river, but Sara took that natural beauty and accentuated it, something only the best in the business can do. The bridal party bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages were more beautiful than I could have imagined. In fact, I am so proud of my bouquet that I decided to get it preserved so I can have it forever! Sara decorated the outdoor ceremony and cocktail room beautifully and the ballroom was absolutely stunning. The centerpieces Sara designed were works of art! It felt so romantic, so special. She was will and able to incorporate whiskey bottles into our centerpieces. Leading up to our wedding Sara was always there to answer questions and provide ideas for alternative table elements. We loves what we saw at our sampling and loved our wedding flowers even more!

When my husband and I started planning our wedding, Floral Fantasies by Sara was our first stop. I was familiar with Sara’s work and couldn’t wait to see what ideas she had in mind for our wedding. The flowers and décor were one of the most important elements since our reception was taking place under a tent. I had so many ideas, but not an unlimited budget. Working with Sara was a dream. She is extremely detail oriented and her designs are unique and fresh. She went way beyond just your standard wedding flowers, incorporating things like fresh herbs and moss. She was even able to find peonies for me in mid-July! The bouquets, boutonnieres, and church decor were fabulous. When I walked into the tent at the reception, my jaw dropped. Everything from the lighting to the table arrangements was unbelievably gorgeous. I am so excited that we get to work with her again for my sister-in-law’s wedding next summer! I wholeheartedly recommend Floral Fantasies by Sara. I have confidence that she can accommodate any budget and will exceed your expectations!

Women stress over every detail of their wedding and I was no different. However, the one and ONLY aspect of my wedding I did NOT have to worry about was my flowers and decor. Years before my own wedding I met Sara at Floral Fantisies while helping my best friend plan her wedding. Not only does Sara make you feel comfortable as you walk in the door but her visions are divine!!! Breathtaking to say the least!! My friend had absolutely no idea what she was looking for regarding flowers, only colors. Within an hour Sara had created what would come to be one of the most gorgeous wedding events I had ever seen. The outdoor ceremony was rained out and Sara was prepared with extra decor for the impromptu indoor ceremony. Her only concern was that this day be special and beautiful for my very best friend. Needless to say years later I had no doubt who my florist would be. May I add that her shop is 2 hours away from where we live and I would not hesitate to travel that far for such impeccable service!! I walked in the door without a worry in my mind and said "rustic and peonies". From there my vision was born through Sara. She began pulling items from all over her shop. For the first time during a very stressful wedding planning, I was excited beyond belief! I was even asking her questions about the men's tuxes and ties. That is how much I trusted her judgement!! I worried about not having a budget as large as my friends, but Sara took my budget and worked her magic. She was detail oriented and on the day she displayed my "mock table" for approval...she had exceeded my already high expectation!! I didn't think that would be possible. Floral fantasies by Sara made my special day even more memorable by creating a backdrop that will forever live on in my heart and in my photos. Her passion and kindness is represented in everything she creates!!! I thank her from the very bottom of my heart!

Sara at Floral Fantasies was a great last minute addition to my daughter's wedding vendors. We left flowers for last and had a limited budget. She was so accommodating, stayed within budget, adjusted happily to last minute color changes, and carried out our vision with meticulous attention to detail. My daughter was married this month and the beauty of the whole celebration was due in a large part to the flowers done by “Floral Fantasies by Sara” of Rhinebeck, New York. The reception was outdoors under a tent at the Wake Robin Inn in Connecticut and Sara brought autumn into the wedding tent by cleverly decorating the tent poles with birch branches, bittersweet and curly willow adorned with hanging glass tea lights. It was beautiful. The Church flowers, bouquets, and centerpieces were stunning with Sara’s unique mix of orange Santana roses, South American mini green hydrangea, green moss balls and hanging copper amaranthus. The groomsmen looked sensational with boutonnieres of a burnt orange brain celosia graced with hypericum berries. I am still receiving compliments about our wedding flowers.
Sara was a pleasure to work with, making wonderful suggestions revealing her great depth of knowledge and artistry in her floral presentations. My daughter and I always had a great time meeting with Sara and could not have been more pleased with her work. I highly recommend her and feel this will be one of the most enjoyable moments in your wedding planning.

When originally planning our wedding, flowers were something that I was having a really hard time justifying the cost for, as they last 1 day! Ultimately instead of going the DIY route, we decided that having a professional and thoughtful florist that knew our venue and could help bring the decor to life really outweighed any cost savings. And WOW, I'm really glad that we did! We gave our budget to Sara and they really helped us work within our range to make everything wonderful. For example, she was completely OK with only doing personal flowers for the groom, and flowers for bride/bridesmaids (no groomsman boutonnieres, no corsages for mothers), and offering empty vases for us to place the bridesmaids bouquets into after the ceremony to help trim. We live ~2 hours away and it didn't end up working out for us to go up to visit in person, but Sara was happy to hop on the phone and send pictures for options. I wanted to change something on the bouquet after seeing the photo, but couldn't quite point out what felt off, but I trusted that it'd come back wonderfully. It was beautiful when I saw it on my wedding day! We went a very neutral greenery/white theme for our outdoor wedding at Red Maple Vineyard, and it fit perfectly - from the candles with the centerpieces to the small greenery/flowers I placed in my hair. Since they knew the space, they were really able to help maximize the decor for maximum impact. The only thing I would have loved to see was a little more greenery/flowers on the arch for our ceremony, as the reference photos we shared were a little more 'full', but that could have simply been a byproduct of working within our budget. For any other brides-to-be struggling with investing in flowers or anyone without a super specific vision/idea of what they want, I'd really recommend Sara!

I hired Sara for my wedding in White Plains in April to handle personal flowers as well as our ceremony and reception decor, and she did not disappoint!! My husband and I were completely blown away with all of our decor. From the ceremony decor to the decorated fireplace mantles to the gorgeous candles they had on the venue stairs, everything was absolute perfection. Our guests are still talking about how amazing all the decor and flowers were and I owe that all to Sara and her team.

I worked with Sara and Jessica for several months leading up to the wedding and they were a pleasure to work with. They were always available to discuss ideas and they created beautiful decor within our budget. I cannot say enough about Sara and her wonderful team. Sara and her team did such a wonderful job with the flowers at our fall wedding. We met in spring to get a preliminary idea of what I was looking for and when the wedding was getting closer, I had a change of mind in center piece designs and colors that I wanted (now it is fall). Sara completely embraced the change. I couldn't make the trip to see a reworked sample but Sara sent the picture, we got on the phone for some feedback and she sent the final sample after that. The final sample was a little delayed but completely understandable - September being such a popular wedding month and seriously there were so many last-minute things to do before the wedding, a particular kind of flower or color in the bouquets was like a least of my concern! After all, all that matters was that the final product is SOOOOOOOOOO beautiful, just perfect, and more than I could have imagined.

Oh my word, Sara is a dream to work with! We met with her twice, once to give her an idea of what we wanted and then again "in season" to see what was available. She is so, so good at her job, I can't stress this enough. I had only some vague ideas pinned on pinterest and what she showed me, and was able to whip up in the shop at our first meeting was EXACTLY what I was looking for. And the arch that she made for us was beyond my wildest expectations. It was so stunning I couldn't stop staring at it. She totally nailed the color palette we were going for (creams with dusty greens, a hint of blush, and deep dark purple accents) and absolutely delivered. We chose to use flat eucalyptus for our table runners at her suggestion and it was such a brilliant idea. She created a super romantic swag for the front of our barn, and the arrangements that she made for our escort table and dessert table were spot on - she even put in beautiful fall branches. Nothing felt over the top or overdone, it was all perfectly romantic and exactly us. I could not have been happier with how all our flowers turned out. Oh and the bouquets were perfect, they were surprisingly light for the number of blooms she fit in there, and the dahlias were like dinner plates. And the mini bouquet she made for our flower girl was sturdy and held up to many hours of being flung around. The corsages for the mothers were perfect as well, they matched the boutonnieres and weren't to big or cumbersome to wear.

We were delighted with the flowers and decor that Sara and Jessica provided for our wedding. Sara helped us with all the flowers for our barn wedding back in June, and she did an amazing job, especially considering that it was all sort of last minute. I went to see her only a couple of weeks before the wedding and she pulled together all of the things I had asked for. The flowers were stunning and more than met all our expectations. I was referred to Sara by a friend in the area who insists that she is the best around when it comes to anything from bouquets to complete event decor. From the moment I met her, she was extremely friendly and genuinely interested in ensuring that every detail of her work represented the vision that we had for our wedding. Since our reception was held in a tent, a great deal of thought and effort was required to obtain the necessary extent of decor, and my inclination to avoid the "traditional" wedding look presented an extra challenge.

Everything from the groomsmen's boutonnieres to the enchanted forest that she created in the tent was PERFECT. I felt like I had the most magical wedding imaginable, and I had never seen anything done like it before. My guests were blown away when they walked into the tent, and I actually carried my bouquet around for practically the entire evening because it was too gorgeous to put down! Floral Fantasies by Sara made my pintrest dreams come true! She worked with my budget and created the most beautiful arrangement of flowers, I could not have been happier. The morning of my supposed to be outdoor wedding it was pouring so I was not the happiest of brides. Once I saw how Sara decorated the 'plan B' ceremony space and gave me my bouquet I could not stop smiling. She decorated my ceremony arch with greens and touches of cream colored flowers, it was more beautiful than any pictures I could find online.

I live in Washington, DC and my wedding was in Hudson, NY. I ended up never actually meeting Sara in person but we spoke via email and phone and she was a pleasure to work with. She sent me pictures of a centerpiece example a month before my wedding. I decided I wanted to change some of the flowers and rose colors and she did made it happen no problem.

Sara is honest and will provide her expertise when asked. Whether you have an exact vision in mind or just a few ideas of what you imagine your flowers to look like Sara will make it happen.

They totally got my vision and everything turned out beautifully... I didn't make the trip to see a sample (since I like a couple hours away) but they sent pictures and then got on the phone with me after for feedback and the final product was even more beautiful than I imagined. They were a little slow to respond far ahead of the wedding but I assume because they do this every weekend... everything was completely perfect and set by the time the wedding rolled around!

Beautiful arrangements

Sara created absolutely beautiful arrangements for my ceremony and reception. She used my Pinterest/images as a guide. I've heard some florists may do presentations of what they plan for your event, and I may have preferred to work that way. The bouquet, chair and sign garlands were slightly off what I wanted, but overall it was just gorgeous.

We used Sara for bouquets and centerpieces and she did a great job. She makes beautiful arrangements and even incorporated a special flower for us when she found out how important it was to us. Our flowers were beautiful but they were not exactly the color I was expecting. When we went to see a sample, she did not have the flowers in our color scheme so we saw the same arrangement in different colors. I think if she had our flowers prepared for us at the time of the sample, my initial disappointment would have been avoided. Although they were not 100% perfect, they were pretty close and I would still recommend her services for your wedding day!

Missed the mark.

Overall, Sara was great to work with. She was laid-back, willing to make revisions and changes to her statement of work, and was reasonably priced.

The flowers were very important to us, and Sara understood the general aesthetic we were going for and was able to provide it, generally. The trees she put up to disguise the poles in our tent, the greenery she added to the entryway, and the little touches of florals here and there really added character to our wedding. We know we asked for a lot—and overall, she did a good job.

Though the flowers at the wedding did look beautiful for the most part, we were still disappointed with two pivotal elements.

From the onset, one of the things we told Sara we wanted were large hanging floral installations from the tent, which she hadn’t done before was confident she’d be able to. After working out a lot of kinks, and being very understanding and helpful throughout that process, Sara agreed to both install and build three big round floral wreaths from the ceiling of our tent. But unfortunately, we were disappointed by the end result. They looked to be half the size of what she told us they’d be, you could see the wire hanging, and they also weren’t nearly as lush as what we’d discussed. We had numerous conversations about these installations and had showed her pictures, as well. But in the end, they looked sloppy.

We’ve asked ourselves over and over again if perhaps we weren’t clear enough with Sara. But in going back to look at our email correspondence to write this review, we can see the pictures that we sent her as examples were consistent and clear. We are confident that it wasn’t a miscommunication; it was just poor execution on Sara’s part, whether intentional or otherwise.

One of the things that we appreciated about Sara initially was that she was trying to save us money. But, as we mentioned, the flowers were an incredibly important part of our vision for our wedding, and we decided to up our budget just to be sure we could have the installations and centerpieces we wanted. We told Sara we’d be happy to spend more to be sure we were getting the kind of look we’d sent her pictures of and talked about. As a result, we agreed to higher prices for the installations. It’s painful to look back on the photos of those installations, knowing we paid her more than we’d originally discussed, but she didn’t seem to put that extra money toward them. Honestly, had we known that would be the outcome, we would’ve skipped them entirely.

We were also disappointed by our centerpieces, which were greenery, candles, and terrariums as a runner in the middle. When we went to Sara’s studio a month before the wedding to see a sample of what our centerpieces would look like, we were disappointed in the size. We told her we wanted the centerpieces to be double the width, understanding and agreeing to a substantial upcharge. But what she provided at the wedding was much more similar to the original width she showed us. While they wre beautiful, they werent what we agreed upon. Again, we felt like we paid for very little of a change, if any.

Additionally, one of the things we’d asked Sara if she had when we first met with her a year before the wedding was gold geometric terrariums. She said she did, but then a month before our wedding at the final meeting, she said she didn’t. We ordered them ourselves and then sold them back to her at a discounted price, which was fine—we just wish we had been aware sooner and could’ve ordered them when things weren’t so hectic so close to the wedding.

Overall, Sara was friendly and amenable to work with, but in terms of the results, we feel she failed to deliver on the things that mattered most to us and on the things we spent the most money on. But if you’re not looking to go outside the box with your wedding flowers, we’re confident Sara can deliver.

Stay on top of them as they were hard to get in touch with them at times. But at the event, the flowers looked great.

My fiance and I booked Floral Fantasies by Sara for our May 2016 wedding. The overall floral arrangements and bouquets were nicely done. However, I was slightly disappointed with the many unexpected changes that occurred between our first meeting with Jessica through the delivery our our final product on the day of our wedding. I felt strongly from our initial meeting that everything we discussed should be clearly outlined in our statement of work, as I felt that would help ensure our flowers were exactly what we requested. In the end, many flowers I requested were unavailable and I received no notification prior to delivery on my wedding day. I was very specific about what I wanted and did not receive what I asked for. I also wore a flower crown, for which I asked to have my head circumference measured, to allow for proper placement on my wedding day. I was told it wasn't needed and if it wasn't for my hairstylist, I would not have been able to wear the crown because it was so small and was not adjustable. She had to cut the back and somehow secure it with an elastic band and hair pins in order for it to look appropriate. I was thankful for Jessica's flexibility and willingness to create a last minute floral arrangement for our flower girl on the morning of, per my request. But I was not pleased when our bouquets arrived and mine was smaller than my maid of honor's and was missing many of the flowers I had outlined in the statement of work.
