Fresh & beautiful flowers for our May wedding!
Heather did an absolutely wonderful job on the bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, and abundant decorative flowers at our wedding. We were married in May and wanted pretty spring colors but also flowers that would stand out. Heather perfectly matched her recommendations to our reference photos and we established the color scheme & flowers to be used months in advance, so we could go into the day feeling totally confident and excited about the flowers.
When the day came, Heather completely outdid herself with these gorgeous colors & arrangements! We had stunning pink, peach and purple flowers for the bridal bouquets, with lighter flowers for the ceremony decorations & table settings. Even our cake had amazing purple, orange and ivory flowers! The flowers were definitely a talking point & honestly my favorite aesthetic part of our wedding. We would recommend Heather's services most highly for a beautiful and unforgettable wedding day.

Beautiful florals for an amazing value!
My husband and I got married in March 2023, we live in Washington, D.C., and were planning a cross-country wedding all the way out in Sonoma, CA, which sounds incredibly stressful. However, Heather was amazing to work with on our wedding florals. She was quick to respond and setup an initial call, she understood my vision and color scheme and was able to send me examples of her other work for inspiration. I loved talking to her about my wedding, her excitement was very evident and showed through the quality of her work as well. She made the entire process easy and stress free, I knew it was one less thing I'd have to worry about on my wedding day, knowing she had the florals handled.
Additionally, budget was a big concern for us, but Heather was able to work within our budget without sacrificing quality or beauty. I had received several quotes, but nothing beat Heather's or included as much in the price as well.
We didn't want anything big or flashy, but we wanted the colors to really stand out and compliment the natural beauty of the venue we chose. Heather knew exactly what to do, I truly could not have been happier. We even got to meet her on our big day when we arrived as everything was getting setup! We got so many compliments on our arrangements and bouquets from our quests, vendors, and bridal party. I absolutely LOVED my bridal bouquet, so much that I had it dried and framed so I could keep it forever.
Heather - thank you so much for everything, you were such a joy to work with and your florals really made our wedding that much more special.

Perfect Flowers
Heather was so wonderful to work with for our August wedding at Vine Hill House. She was highly recommended, and I can see why! I sent her some pictures of my vision, and she went above and beyond ensuring everything came out perfectly, and even more beautiful than I could’ve pictured. Every bouquet and arrangement was meticulously arranged with the most beautiful flowers, and they held up all night! She was so easy to work with and made sure everything arrived at the venue on time and was displayed perfectly. We highly recommend her!

Heather is amazing - the best!
We asked our wedding planner who the best vendors are in wine country for food, flowers, etc. and Heather was at the top of the florist list. She was AMAZING!!! We absolutely loved working with her- she took the time to get to know us, our priorities, sensibilities, budget, and stepped us through the process, helping us make our wedding even better. My wife loved the bouqet she designed for us- the photos of her with the bouqet look like the cover of a high-end brides magazine!!!! We received so many compliments unsolicited throughout from our guests. The day of our wedding we were blown away seeing how beautiful of a job she did for us and she was so wonderful with us and our wedding party getting everyone ready on our big day with charm, wit and kindness. Heather stood by us throughout covid, helping even as we had to reschedule twice and making lots of changes over that period as our wedding changed, evolved, added elements and even some late breaking last minute changes. She did it all as a true partner and was so wonderful throughout. When you go through such a stressful, challenging period- and every wedding will have its share even without covid- it's so wonderful having someone in Heather by your side. Heather also blew us away and made us incredibly happy because she donates leftover flowers to a local nursing home where they can bring happiness and joy to the residents and staff, something we felt so grateful and appreciative of and proud to partner with someone so thoughtful and caring. Run, don't walk, to engage Heather - she is AMAZING and the BEST. Folks like her get booked quickly and there are only so many top florists in the area, so don't miss an opportunity to work with her if you can for weddings or whatever event you have. We loved working with her!!!

Wonderful Experience All Together!
Heather made everything so easy from start to finish! I planned my wedding from across the country and she really was so easy to work with, knowledgeable in her field, professional, and just a sweet vendor. She was always available for a call and wanted to make sure everything came out perfect for us and was exactly what we wanted. She helped go through the concept photos I had picked and was able to let me know what would and wouldn't be available, and if they weren't available, she had lists of similar flowers for me to go through and choose from. She just went above to make everything beautiful and easy. I would highly recommend her to anyone planning a wedding or any other kind of event in the Napa area.

Heather was amazing. We hired her for our October 2019 wedding and I cannot recommend her enough. From our very first initial phone call Heather was not only so kind, but was able to understand my vision even though I wasn't exactly sure how to express what I wanted. We got married the weekend of the Kincade fires, and had to change our venue the morning of our wedding. Heather was amazing. Even though she had to evacuate and had her bag packed in her car, she still worked our wedding and our florals looked amazing. Cannot recommend Heather enough!

What an angel, Heather is. From my first time meeting Heather, I knew that I would need to have her on my wedding vendor team. Not only have I worked with Heather in the wedding industry as a Wedding Coordinator, but I had the bigger honor of having her floral work at my wedding. Heather made the most beautiful bouquets for me. Being a soul that loves the dark, rich, fall tones, Heather knew exactly what to do and she NAILED it. Having Heather as a part of your vendor team will really make an impact on your day. Brides Make Your Life Easier - Book Heather Hendrickson
I think the title of the review says enough. In all seriousness Heather did the most fantastic job! The flowers were beyond stunning and we are STILL receiving compliments from family and friends. Heather is extremely responsive, and her input and opinion I very much valued, since she's done so so so so so so many weddings, she really knows what would work best. Her prices were also MUCH MORE affordable than some other vendors and frankly I was at some weddings of the other vendors in the area (as my friends booked other florists in the area for their own weddings) and her work was better by a mile, and a lot of my friends were disappointed they couldn't book Heather since she was already booked.

Amazing to work with!
Heather is a total sweetheart and made me feel at ease during our first conversation. Not only was she amazing to work with during our planning process, but she graciously changed around our floral arrangements to accommodate a last minute venue change due to the Kincade fire. She provided an arrangement for our arbor which we weren't going to have at our original venue so that things didn't look bare. She was very sweet to our entire wedding party and the flowers themselves were beautiful too. Thank you!

Heather is the best and her flowers are gorgeous!
My first conversation with Heather was so wonderful -- she was really excited about the inspiration photos I had previously sent her, and she shared some of the ideas she had. Throughout the planning process she was available to talk through specifics, and she kept me updated on which flowers from her own garden were coming in and would be great additions for our arrangements and bouquets. When she handed me my finished bouquet I was so overcome by its beauty that I burst into tears...the first of many times on my wedding day! All of the flowers at our wedding were so perfect for our venue and felt very representative of our style. Heather listened to what we wanted and delivered way beyond our expectations!

Amazing Florist & Person!
It was an absolute please working with Heather, who is the sweetest and most caring person ever. From our very first phone call through the wedding day I could not have imagined a better experience. She even went out of her way to meet me in person at my venue months prior to the wedding to ensure that she fully understood my vision. In the days leading up to the wedding, we learned that an unusual rainstorm would be crashing our wedding, and Heather proactively made several suggestions, including additional arrangements to enhance the changed ceremony space. Her professionalism and experience really helped ease our stress leading up to the wedding. Finally, her work is amazing - she really understands how create a beautiful atmosphere for a wedding and reception. She also made the most beautiful bridal bouquet that is highlighted in all of my favorite wedding photos! I would highly recommend Heather!

Fantastic florist
From our initial phone call I knew Heather was the florist for me. She was detailed with her questions and helped me hone my vision for my wedding day. Not only were the arrangements and bouquets stunning but she created meaningful garlands of camellia leaves for our tables that my husband and I adored. Heather is very responsive, flexible, and so passionate about what she does. I definitely recommend her to anyone getting married or hosting events in wine country/the North Bay. Lovely flowers
Heather provided the gorgeous flowers for our July wedding at Viansa. Based on her beautiful website, I could tell that she had the aesthetic that I was looking for. She was lovely and easy to work with. After chatting about my preferences over the phone, she put together a proposal. She was very flexible when I was hoping to lower the price, and we decided to cut some of the ceremony decorations, and reuse the aisle flowers for the cocktail hour. All in all, it was an absolute pleasure to work with her, and I would recommend her to any engaged couple!

I really wanted peonies for our wedding flowers, but being in August they weren't in season. Heather recommended garden roses, and they were absolutely beautiful and helped to complete our vision. Besides being completely talented, Heather is one of the nicest people I have ever met! She is so professional, and we had the pleasure of meeting her in person before our wedding. I could not say enough wonderful things about working with Heather! I was fortunate enough to do an internship five years ago at a winery in Sonoma County where I met Heather. Working with Heather behind the scenes introduced me to her style and heartfeltness! I knew from that time that when I got married I would want Heather to be my florist.
We chatted a few times on the phone and she immediately understood my vision, even though I felt like I couldn’t quite pinpoint exactly what I wanted. She looked at my Pinterest boards and was able to put into words the styles that I loved.
Based on the time of year that the wedding was taking place, end of March. She put together a proposal of all of the different floral arrangements and listed out each flower that she would use. It was very easy to make some minor adjustments to the florals in the planning process.
We were met with a hiccup leading up to the wedding. The Tubbs fire in October unfortunately destroyed our original venue. During this time, not only did Heather reach out and check to see how we were doing but also to give us recommendations of other venues to reach out to. Thankfully we were quickly able to find our new venue, Gloria Ferrer Vineyards, that had much of the same characteristics to our original venue. Heather hadn’t done a wedding there for a few years so made time to visit the winery to be able to know how to properly execute my vision.
It’s finally the day of the wedding, I’m standing upstairs in the bridal room with my bridesmaids and here comes Heather with the most stunning bouquets I have ever seen! I don’t think I could have envisioned a better bouquet if I tried! Just looking at it made me so happy because she truly listened to what I was describing and brought it to life. If I could have that bouquet displayed in my house for the rest of my life I would!
Everything surrounding the flowers was just perfect. She did an amazing job and I can’t wait to work with Heather in the future!

She listened to what I wanted, was responsive to my questions, and her colorful arrangements went perfectly with the venue and my vision for the day. The bouquets were exactly what I had pictured in my mind, and the flowers at the reception venue and the ceremony looked amazing. It was so nice to not have to stress about the flowers because Heather was on top of everything. I would definitely recommend her to anyone getting married in Sonoma county!

Heather had the insight of exactly what my son and his fiancé wanted, by colors, flowers and the dos and don’ts of the floral arrangements for their wedding. She gave great ideas when we didn’t really know what was wanted.
She is extremely knowledgeable of flowers; we had an unusual request of bamboo being incorporated in the floral arrangements and bouquets. Heather found an excellent “look at like” that would hold up during the wedding, it was perfect!
Heather is professional, with the warmest heart.
I highly recommend Heather Hendrickson for your wedding flowers or any other event. My son and his wife and I couldn’t be any happier with the flowers that Heather created for their wedding, it made their day perfect!!

Heather is simply amazing! Before I dive into how beautiful she made my wedding, I need to touch on her personal characteristics that made the whole process a dream come true. Heather is kind, knowledgable, honest, and excellent at communicating. I planned my entire wedding long distance, and Heather made the whole process so easy. Our first phone conversation was extremely helpful, and she was able to answer all my questions. She gave me tons of recommendations, and because of Heather, I also found my caterer… whom we loved. Heather thinks of absolutely EVERYTHING. She is professionalism at its finest.
The flowers at my wedding were breathtaking. It ended up raining on our wedding day— of course, every brides worst fear. Last minute all the plans changed and our whole wedding moved indoors. The rain must truly make for a lucky bride because I still can feel the overwhelming sense of warmth and magic that showered us that day. The flowers were jaw-dropping gorgeous…everything I dreamt of and more. Heather was able to re-arrange some previous plans and re-create my walkway. Since we were unable to use the rose petals indoors, Heather created flower arrangements in jars that she hung from the chairs. I love how Heather took the reins, and created a little piece of heaven at our wedding. Her arrangements are dense with the most healthy and beautiful flowers. People for weeks following the wedding kept complimenting me on the flowers. The barrel arrangements she made created a perfect look for my ceremony, and then later for the sweet heart table. The bouquets were just gorgeous and the men’s boutonnieres were beyond perfect. I was so lucky to have been able to find Heather as the florist for our wedding. Heather helped to make our wedding the best day of our lives!

Heather was an absolute joy to work with for our vineyard wedding this summer. She was incredibly responsive via email and was very easy to communicate with. Early in the process she connected with me over the phone to understand my vision for our wedding day and created a plan based on my preferences and budget. As the wedding date drew closer she was very flexible and was willing to chat with both my mother and myself to work out the final details. Heather grows many of the flowers she uses in her own garden and her creations are absolutely beautiful. I sent her a picture of a bridal bouquet that I loved and she was able to make something similar but even more beautiful. I have never written a review before, but I can't help but praise the beautiful work that Heather did for my wedding. Flowers were initially at the bottom of mine and my husband's list of things that we wanted to spend money on for the wedding, but Heather was able to give me an honest/realistic estimate of what it would take to realize my vision for the wedding aesthetic and then created it perfectly within our agreed upon budget. The flowers were vibrant, thoughtfully and artistically arranged and absolutely took my breath away. To my surprise, they ended up being one of my favorite parts of the wedding! It was an absolute pleasure working with Heather from start to finish- she is awesome! Planning in advance of our wedding was a breeze with her. She was super helpful, professional and so, so nice. As so many others have so eloquently put it, I’ll simply say: choose Heather!
First of all, I feel like I was one of those nightmare-ish brides when it came to florals. I conjunctively had zero floral knowledge and a million ideas (thanks, Pinterest). Heather was the most patient person-intently listening to every single thing I had to say and helping me narrow down my inspiration to something that was downright beautiful. We were planning from across the world, so she was great about setting up phone calls and being available via email 24/7. She also helped guide me in the practicality of choosing flowers that would be available and in season, and she was very honest about pricing and how everything would impact my budget. She even suggested creative uses of the bouquets and ceremony arrangements so that they didn’t go to waste! She continuously updated the detailed quote after our many conversations, which was great for this OCD bride!
The flowers for the event were absolutely stunning, and I give 100% credit to Heather. Everything was exactly as I had dreamed. The flowers themselves were natural, lush, and romantic, and I personally enjoyed that many of them had come from her own garden – don’t even get me started on her Café Au Lait Dahlias! I was also so overjoyed to walk through the space before the wedding started to see that everything had come to life, and of course, Heather’s smiling face was there to personally greet me and hand me my incredible bouquet!
Last but not least, Heather just has the biggest heart of any of our vendors. She has so much passion, and she puts it into everything she does. Heather was more than what I could have ever expected from a floral designer, and I know that so many other brides feel the same way.
I’ll close by echoing my starting sentiment: If you are just beginning your search for a florist…or are trying decide between several vendors, save yourself the time.

Heather was recommended by our planner, Jennifer, and we were so happy she did. Heather was easy to work with and was very patient with our many revisions. The results were exactly what we wanted and more! All the flowers she used for the bouquets were grown in her own garden! Our guests had nothing but great things to say about the flowers and everything looked wonderful in the pictures. Heather even made the suggestion of using out table arrangements for our brunch the next day. So smart! Our brunch tables looked amazing and it saved us a lot of money. Heather designed flowers for our wedding and the entire experience of working with her was wonderful! At our very first meeting, she used some of the Pinterest inspiration and notes I had sent her to begin to sketch out specific ideas for me, even bringing a sample arrangement from her garden to show me examples of colors and flowers. While it was clear that Heather was a total expert, she was also a great listener and worked with me to understand my ideas and vision for the day. It was so easy to work with her - she was organized, professional, knowledgeable and so kind and warm. She made me feel relaxed and confident not only about the flowers, but the wedding planning process overall. And on the day of the wedding, everything that we had outlined came together so, so, so beautifully. From my bouquet, to the wedding party's flowers, to the gorgeous wine barrel arrangements at our "altar", to the table arrangements, everything was colorful, lush, local (she includes flowers from her own garden!) and picture perfect. Short version: You can't go wrong with Heather Hendrikson, she's professional, personal, affordable, sincere, and her arrangements are downright stunning!
Long version: Heather was such a pleasure to work with for our wedding at Vine Hill House in Sebastopol, CA this past July. Heather is professional and fast to communicate. I loved the fact that she contacted me to ask how things were going, to remind me to make decisions, etc. I had to shop around for florists and I could tell immediately that Heather is on top of it. There are plenty of flaky and snooty vendors, especially in Napa/Sonoma, but not Heather. She's sensitive to the fact that brides these days work and was willing to meet on evenings and weekends. This was essential for my husband and I. I didn't have a wedding planner and didn't need one with my awesome crew of wedding vendors, of which Heather ranked highly. Heather grows some of her own flowers and has the most beautiful cafe au lait dahalias. She took copious notes when we met and spoke on the phone. She was eager to offer suggestions, would immediately follow-up conversations with emails of pictures for idea. She listened closely to what I described and made the arrangements for our ceremony and tables more beautiful than I could have imagined. She is very familiar with venues in the area and has a good sense for what will really make your day special. Heather also will pick up your flowers on the day after and donate them to nursing homes in the area. Heather was the first person to send me pictures of our wedding - she took lots of the flowers of course, but also my family and made the extra effort to send. Lastly, Heather was very reasonably priced. Other florists charged much higher prices and offered much less. You can't go wrong with Heather.

My husband and I got married on July 19 at Trentadue Winery, and were lucky enough to have Heather do our flowers. I cannot say enough about what a great experience we had with Heather! Leading up to the wedding, we had phone meetings with Heather about what we wanted, sharing pinterest boards and just my vague ideas. It was like she was in my head! On the day of, when I saw my bouquet, I was blown away! Everything was perfect, fresh, and beautiful. The table decor was beautiful, and the flowers for the ceremony were just amazing -- and she took care of all of it. She even took care of the flowers after the wedding -- I took a few arrangements with me, and the ones I didn't want to take she donated to a retirement home.

Heather provided all of the flowers and candle decorations for my son's wedding and I just want to say that she did an amazing job. All of the flowers she arranged were absolutely gorgeous!!! Every table looked fabulous, the bouquets the bridesmaids held were so beautiful as were the cala lily boutonnieres the groomsmen were wearing. There were 16 people in the wedding party which requires a great deal of time and effort, and Heather made every arrangement look perfect. The flowers on the chuppah looked incredible as did all of the candles on the tables filled with lentil beans. The flowers on all 22+ tables were so colorful and pretty - many people commented on how beautiful they looked. We were able to reuse the flowers from the rehearsal dinner and bring them not only to the wedding, but also to the breakfast the morning after - they still looked that good. Heather was very professional and her beautiful arrangements just made the special occasion that much more memorable.

August 9, 2014 was my daughter's wedding day. I am sooo... happy that we chose Heather to be our florist. I could tell from my first email that she would do a great job. She responded right away and sent me pictures of flower arrangements she had done. When met and I knew that she understood exactly what my daughter wanted. During the planning process, we changed the color of the bridesmaids dresses. I wasn't sure how to tie everything together. Heather took care of that and eased my concerns. When I saw the flowers on my daughter's wedding day, I was so, so happy. They were beautiful. Just perfect! Then there was the cake. Heather decorated it with flowers and it was stunning! Heather was at the venue when we arrived making sure that everyone got their corsages and that they were pinned just right.
You will not find a better florist than Heather. Her designs are beautiful, she has the ability to understand her clients, her prices are reasonable, and she is really nice to work with. It was a true pleasure. Thank you Heather!

We used Floral Designs by Heather Hendrickson for our wedding in Bodega Bay, CA on March 1, 2014. Heather was amazing! She listened to exactly what we wanted and delivered beautiful flower arrangements that exceeded our expectations (we received several complements from our guests as well). She was helpful throughout the whole process from helping to select the flowers, asking the right questions to ensure we got everything we needed, and she even delivered the flowers to 3 different locations to ensure the groomsmen received their boutonnieres, the bridesmaids received their bouquets, and the venue was properly set up. Heather also offered to pick up the flowers the day after the wedding to take them to a retirement/nursing home so that others could enjoy the flowers that would otherwise be put to waste. My bouquet was perfect and all of our guests commented on how beautiful the arrangements were. The gorgeous fuschia rose petals down the edge of the aisle just made it look perfect. Heather was absolutely fantastic! My husband is in the Marine Corps and moved out to Germany in January. As you can imagine, trying to plan a Sonoma County wedding from a different country is not an easy task! With help from my mom, we emailed the florists from the preferred vendors list and Heather was one of, if not the, first to respond. She is prompt, personable, professional, and was able to take the information that I had relayed via my mom (what colors I wanted, along with pictures of centerpieces and bouquets that I liked) and come up with a quote quickly.
There was no hesitation when booking Heather for our wedding, it was a great value and she made the entire process so easy! A month before the wedding I flew back to the States to prepare for the wedding, this was the first time I met with Heather. She asked me a few more questions, went over the quote with me one more time, and we were set for the big day!
The day of the wedding, I walked onto the property and was blown away. I didn't have any specific examples of what I wanted the arrangements/bouquets to look like, just a lot of pictures of looks l liked, Heather was able to take the information I had given her and translate it into exactly what I had envisioned for our special day....actually, it was more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. We even had a minor mishap just before the ceremony of a bridesmaid misplacing her bouquet, and Heather was able to create a last-minute bouquet on the spot for us. Her calming energy throughout the process was also very much welcomed in such a time of chaos.

It was a pleasure working with Heather for my August 2013 wedding in Santa Rosa, California. I would without question use her services again! She was very professional, friendly and fun. I also appreciated that she was very easy to work with from a distance since I did much of my initial planning from abroad; she was great about communicating by email. Heather managed to interpret and execute my vision which I felt I had difficulty conveying at times. She took all the photos, and pinterest boards, and my rambling emails, and created the most perfect floral arrangements I could ever imagine for my special day. I know my whole family was very impressed and said that she exceeded our expectations. My flowers were spectacular and all my guests agreed! She also created a beautiful floral garland for my hair, and stayed to help the hair dresser adjust each flower so it was perfect - it was truly stunning! From the moment I first had contact with Heather, she was absolutely amazing to work with. Her communication with me the entire planning process was wonderful. She always responded quickly to e-mails I would send her with questions or ideas I had. As any bride knows, planning a wedding is nerve-wracking and she made it so much easier for me. I got many e-mails from her with photos of ideas and suggestions, which were very helpful since I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted to begin with. When I met with her in person at the venue months before the wedding, she was just as sweet-natured as I had expected. The day of the wedding, I was absolutely blown away at just how perfect everything was. Every detail, down to the aisle petals and flowers on the cake, was more than I could've dreamed. The bridesmaids' flowers were the exact colors I wanted and my bouquet was the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen! I had the pleasure of working with Heather for our wedding on June 8th. I had heard of Heather many times before as my family has a popular wedding venue in wine country and I knew that a lot of individuals selected her as their florist, but I had never really met her or had the pleasure of working with her until I got engaged. I have seen hundreds of weddings at the family business so it was really important for me to have the personal touches that I wanted for that day, to really make the day ours and unique. I had requests of specific lighting pieces to go in the reception vases, meaningful adds to my bouquet in honor of a loved one, etc., and she nailed all of them! I don't have the talent or eye to select flowers that would make a wonderful bouquet but what I had pictured in my head was exactly what Heather created; they were so breath-taking! Heather has a rare talent to understand what you are looking for when you don't even know yourself what you are looking for or how to describe it. Heather can also act fast! We had a few last minute needs (and I mean last minute...like the day of) for an additional mother's corsage, and needs a few days before for petals down the isle and some cocktails arrangements and she was on it! All flowers are beautiful but when you look at her creations they are just so striking. To add more icing to the cake Heather is one of the nicest individuals I have ever met. She is so positive and I can't tell you what a relief it was to work someone so talented yet so humble. I could go on for days about our great experience with Heather and how everything came out just perfect, so you will have to see it for yourself!

Heather is an amazing florist and artist. She is talented, professional, timely, and a great listener. She will take any ideas you have and make them even better. She spends a lot of time emailing ideas and inspirations throughout the planning process. Furthermore, her prices were more than reasonable and I feel like I could have spent three times as much and not had a better product. She created a stunning floral arrangement for our arbor, a beautiful and intricate bouquet for me, amazing bridesmaids bouquets, and wonderful table arrangements and worked with me to stay in my budget.

I picked Heather to do the flowers for my wedding because (a) I loved her work and (b) she was the only florist in Sonoma County who would give me an actual list of prices, so I knew exactly what I was paying for, before the wedding. All the other florists who I contacted wanted to give me a vague and general price quote (all of the quotes enormous) for “wedding flowers,” without telling me what exactly I was buying. That seemed like a terrible way to do business. I told Heather what I wanted, and she sent me a list of exact price ranges for bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, table arrangements, etc. She is great! That way, I was able to work with my budget and decide specifically what types of flower arrangements I wanted. It made the mysterious process of buying “flower arrangements” straightforward and practical.
Not only is Heather great to work with, her flower arrangements are lovely. She can work with a variety of different styles, and she brings a beautiful artistic touch to everything she does. I told her exactly what colors and style I wanted, and she made a beautiful floral plan. Then, a few months before the wedding, disaster struck! Due to a problem with our bridesmaid dress order, we had to change our bridesmaid dresses at the last minute, and we ended up changing the color scheme for the entire wedding. This completely changed the lovely floral design Heather had already invested so many hours in making perfect, but she didn’t complain once. She was positive and supportive, got right back to work, and came up with a perfectly gorgeous floral plan in our new colors. I could not have been happier with her work. The flowers were exactly what I wanted, reasonably priced, delivered on time, and set up perfectly. Throughout the process, Heather responded to dozens of questions via email, usually within minutes, and sent hundreds of pictures of flowers to help me figure out exactly what I wanted. Thank you, Heather, for doing a wonderful job!

Heather did a phenomenal job with flowers at our wedding in the Sonoma Valley area. It was a multi-cultural wedding and we wanted to bring in elements of Indian culture and influences from our travels from Bali. The way Heather brought my vision to life was far beyond my expectation. I am an event planner by trade so I have a super critical eye for everything. I have to say that it is rare that I am impressed with every aspect of someone's work, just because I can be a bit of perfectionist. I would highly recommend working with Heather, giving her some examples of your vision, pictures, colors etc and trust me she will make your dream come true when it comes to flowers. You will get more than you expect at a fairly reasonable price. She is also very accommodating, friendly and just a joy to work with!

We heard about Heather through Trentadue Winery and couldn't have been happier with the flowers she provided at our wedding in August. She brought our vision to life. The beautiful bouquets and arrangements she made added such a beautiful touch to the venue. She worked with us to ensure we got the most out of our price point. The flowers you choose pull your entire wedding and plans together. Working with Heather has been a wonderful experience. You will find that the vendors you meet will seem as if they are listening but maybe they are not because they are set in their ways. From the moment we met Heather not only did she listen to my daughter and her groom, but she had very complementing additions and when looking through books of flower we did not waste any time because she already understood exactly what the couple wanted. We were thrilled with Heather's service and final design and ee received rave reviews from all of our guests on Heather's floral displays at our wedding. She was incredibly helpful during the design phase and the final product worked perfectly with our overall wedding decor. Her estimate was considerably less than we had expected and yet she was able to create beautiful, elegant arrangements by using lots of local flowers that were in season. Heather was extremely easy to work with and very professional. I was an out-of-state bride who handled most of the discussions through phone and e-mail, in which Heather was extremely responsive. She gave good recommendations on what type of flowers were in season and would hold up well in the direct sun. She arrived right on schedule for flower delivery and did a beautiful set-up on the wooden arch where the ceremony took place. I worked with Heather for my June 2010 wedding at a lovely little resort in Guerneville, California. The flowers for my wedding were absolutely gorgeous and all my guests complemented me over and over on how beautiful they were. My bouquet of the palest pink peonies were stunning and incredibly fresh. They had the loveliest fragrance, were the perfect shade of pale pink, and lasted forever. People kept saying they thought it was the most beautiful bouquet they'd ever seen! The centerpieces were amazing as well and were more beautiful than I could have imagined. The type and quality of the flowers were incredible and we thought we got an insane value. We live in San Francisco and usually look to higher end florists in the city for flowers but I just could not get over the ridiculous prices that most florist charge for weddings so that's when I decided I'd find a local florist. I got the results I wanted and more for a fraction of the cost. Heather is also professional and incredibly responsive and wins the award for the most responsive vendor for my wedding. I always got a response to my emails within hours and she was just a pleasure to work with. Oh and did I mention that the centerpieces lasted a full 2 weeks! They were so fresh! I cannot recommend Heather highly enough!!!

Heather was so prompt and personable, and her floral designs were gorgeous. She sources from a local grower in Petaluma and concentrates on organic and naturally grown flowers! The green hydrangeas are still gorgeous 2 weeks after the event, and the white dahlias were crisp for days which my family and friends enjoyed after our wedding. I would highly recommend Heather as the final product was wonderful and she really spent time getting the perfect shade of yellow dahlias I desired!

Thank you so much for all the beautiful flowers! I am impressed with your quality of work, and warm personality. The bouquets are exactly what I have imagined!! The bouquets and ceremony flowers look fresh and lasted a long time in the heat! I had so many compliments on my bouquet, bridesmaid's bouquets and the ceremony set up. Heather Hendrickson did an outstanding job with the flowers for my wedding. Not only were the flowers exactly what I wanted, and beautiful, but working with Heather the 9 months prior to my wedding was such a pleasure. From the beginning we were impressed with her because she listened so carefully at our initial consultation as we told her what we liked, and didn't like. Additionally, she was open to working within my budget of $750. I ended up spending $1500, but not due to any pressure by Heather. She gave me the option of doing potted flowers as centerpieces, which would have put me within my original budget, but I decided to do floral arrangements instead, which cost more. Heather responded to my emails within 24 hours, and offered other suggestions for the decor, such as using river rocks to weight my stationery, since she knew the venue was windy. She was flexible and patient with me as I changed my mind a few times over the course of the six months prior to the wedding. When I first started wedding planning I couldn't believe how much the flowers cost, but by the end of the process with Heather, after all the time she invested to planning my personal flowers and arrangements I felt it was money well spent. Theoretically, if I were to do the whole wedding again next summer I would without a doubt hire Heather again.

Overall, my experience with Floral Designs by Heather was outstanding, and I very highly recommend Heather.
Heather designed all of the flowers for my rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony, wedding reception and next-day brunch, all of which took place in Healdsburg, California.
Heather was thoughtful, easy to work with, flexible, stayed within my budget, and, most of all, I really trusted her. When planning a wedding there are so many tiny little details to think about, and I knew that I could trust Heather and that I didn't need to worry about my flowers. I can't tell you how valuable that was to me.
My wedding flowers were even more beautiful than I had imagined they would be. I particularly loved my bridal boquet and the center-pieces on the dinner tables. Both were stunning yet elegant.
Another key issue: I think that Heather's fees are really reasonable, particularly when you spend a little bit of time shopping around.
Since the time of my wedding I have hired Heather to create floral arrangements for parties and special events - both personal and professional.
Heather is great!

Heather's customer service is the more than I could ever have hoped for. Every step of the way that I worked with her - from her well designed website to her quick response time (even while in Africa doing humanitarian work!) to her fantastic aesthetic taste and to her final execution that included an extra bridesmaid bouquet since the original flower choice wasn't executing perfectly that day - she delivered beyond my very high expectations. She is an absolute pleasure to work with, and I highly recommend her to ANYWAY who is interested in the best floral designs by the best floral designer out there!
