    Wonderful Experience Working with Rachel

    Rachel was extremely professional. She was easy to work with and brought our vision to life exactly as we had hoped. She coordinated with the priest to drop off florals at the church, discreetly moved them from the ceremony to the reception, and made everything seamless so we didn't have to worry. Although she had not done a wedding at an Orthodox Christian church before, she was open to learning about where flowers could/could not be placed for the ceremony and very accommodating. The flowers were absolutely stunning!

    Gorgeous flowers and so easy to work with!

    Floral and Bloom is incredible! Rachel and her team are amazing. Rachel completely understood our vision and was able to make it come to life. We had to move our ceremony inside due to rain, and I am so happy that we had Rachel's beautiful flowers and trellis arch to make it seem like we were outside. She also created the most gorgeous main table centerpiece of hydrangeas that my guests still rave about. I wholeheartedly recommend Floral and Bloom!

    Stunning florals!

    Rachel Goes Above and Beyond

    My favorite wedding vendor story involves Rachel — about a month before my wedding, I was awake with nerves about COVID precautions at around 2 am. The only other person shown as “available” on Instagram was Rachel and I learned after messaging her that she was up working to confirm deliveries for one of her lucky bride clients. Not only is she extremely hardworking, she is also incredibly talented and kind. I was in absolute SHOCK at how stunning the flowers were at my wedding. Truly, their beauty blew me away. Guests still rave about them. My mom tried to dry as many of them as she could. It is difficult to choose which flower photos to pick for my wedding album because they are all so incredible. Rachel also worked with me to change my vision many times over a 2.5 year Covid-delayed engagement and never expressed a hint of frustration. She also brought many creative ideas to me for consideration, including an amazing escort card design. I am so grateful that I hired Rachel!

    I wholeheartedly recommend!

    Rachel did a phenomenal job designing and creating the florals for our rehearsal dinner and our wedding. I found florals to be one of the more challenging elements to visualize for the wedding so I especially appreciate her patience and guidance during the whole planning process as we figured out what we needed. The florals looked absolutely stunning, better than I could've ever imagined, and she even adjusted some things quickly when there was a change to our ceremony location last minute. I wholeheartedly recommend Floral and Bloom.

    A True Artist!

    Rachel creates absolute magic with her floral creations. Absolutely everything Rachel created was pure perfection. Every flower in her bouquets and arrangements were fluffy and looked perfect throughout the night and beyond. Every stem was perfectly placed to create a cohesive look that was captivating. I have allergies to fragrant flowers, which potentially posed a problem for an English garden wedding, but Rachel was able to find blooms that matched the look I was going for while also not triggering my allergies at all! It was as if she could see inside my mind and made real the vision I had and I still cannot believe this was our wedding. Our guests could not stop mentioning how beautiful each element was, from the centerpieces to the escort display to the bouquets, fireplace florals, floral back aisles, and topiaries. The most impressive elements were the elephant-shaped topiaries she created. They captured everyone’s attention – words simply do not do her work justice. Her attention to detail is impeccable and eye for design and style for florals is just remarkable. Throughout our meetings she made suggestions to adjust our florals to those that worked best in the space, but still carried through our vision and maximize the impact of our florals and design. She was incredibly responsive to e-mails, adjustments, and answering my questions. Everything was exquisite and we are forever grateful that we had Floral and Bloom create our wedding florals. Rachel is a true artist!

    Floral & Bloom and Rachel are true gems!

    My husband and I loved working with Rachel from the first time we reached out to her regarding our wedding all the way through the big day. Far and away, she was the most prompt and responsive vendor we worked with for our wedding and was exceedingly patient when we were indecisive or less-than-knowledgeable about florals. We loved how our flowers and greenery came together for our wedding -- Rachel took all of our ideas and made them come true!

    Wonderful flowers for our wedding

    Rachel at Floral & Bloom was so great to work with. Incredibly easy going and was able to execute our wedding flowers within a very short timeline (less than 6 months). Rachel created exactly what we envisioned for our ceremony, reception tables, and bouquet/boutonniere. We are grateful for her amazing work!

    Gorgeous Flowers!

    The team at Floral and Bloom made my wedding day breathtakingly beautiful. The chuppah was gorgeous, the bouquets were amazing, and they even wove a couple of mini old family photos into my bouquet. They were very reasonably priced and easy to work with. Highly recommend.

    Amazing florals for our special day!

    Rachel’s creativity shines through when she crafts floral arrangements. We had an lovely meeting when we traveled to her home workshop where she laid things out and showed us samples of what the florals would look like.

    She listened to our requests and was respectful of our budget. We would highly recommend Rachel if you are looking for a talented, responsive and kind professional to outfit any event with tasteful and fun arrangements.

    My wedding flowers blew me away!

    Rachel is amazing!!!! I was completely blown away by my wedding flowers and the impact they had in the ballroom on my wedding day!! I obviously knew all along what the the theme and direction of the flowers would look like but Rachel just absolutely nailed it in every single way. The flowers were simply perfection and we got SO many compliments on how beautiful they were. It's still one of the first things people tell me they loved about our wedding day. Rachel is an absolute pleasure to work with - she's so kind, lovely and an all around professional. I'd recommend her to absolutely anyone!

    Our flowers were perfect!

    Rachel is amazing! She totally understood my vision even though I don’t think I ever used actual flower names to describe what I wanted. Our ceremony and centerpiece flowers were just as we imagined them - our moon arch was spectacular! A friend of mine even took pictures to show her sister for inspiration. Everyone commented about how amazing our flowers and decor looked!

    Stunning Florals Made Our Day Complete!

    Rachel was the perfect choice for our wedding. We initially picked her based on her aesthetic and style, based off pictures of her beautiful work. She delivered that and so much more - professionalism, flexibility, and prompt responses to any concerns or changes we had.

    I went into this process not knowing much about flowers - names, styles, etc. But I knew what I liked and (more importantly) didn't like. Rachel used her incredible talents to bring my vision to life. It could not have been more perfect! We are 110% happy with our decision to hire Rachel.     Floral and Bloom is the most incredible floral and event design I have ever witnessed! Rachel took our vision and exploded it into an event beyond our wildest dreams! She nailed our personal florals, I wish I could have them every day! The first tear I shed on my wedding day was when I saw how unbelievably beautiful the bridal parties bouquets were—I was blown away. Wherever you turned, there was something more beautiful to see. Every table was perfect. Rachel also worked with us to stay within our budget and was very patient as we went back and forth tweaking the contract. Rachel really dropped the mic for our wedding. I felt she was as invested in us as we were in her. Worth every single penny! Loved working with Rachel!

    Our flowers were absolutely breathtaking and the chuppah was off the charts. Rachel far exceeded every expectation and helped make our "Rustic Elegance" vision come to life.     Loved, loved, loveeeddd everything about Rachel's work for our special day! She was so patient with me as I went back and forth about what we wanted for our flowers and helped me settle any hesitations. She took just a bunch of random photos that I sent her and brought them to life to make our wedding flowers and decor just absolutely beautiful.     Rachel was a dream to work with from the very beginning, and created the most stunning florals for our day. We have her a general idea of colors and textures we liked, and she ran with it in the best way. She not only created the most stunning bouquets and centerpieces, but also constructed an amazing chuppah covered in greenery that blew us away.     Rachel was truly a breath of fresh air throughout the wedding planning process. I never even needed to schedule a call with her because she was so responsive and quick through emails. She prepared the most beautiful presentation of the flowers she would use based on the initial survey I filled out. I was blown away by the detail and variety and it was so much more than I could have ever asked for. I fell in love with some terracotta urns and she was happy to order them and said she loved updating her inventory. I watched from the window the day of my wedding as she worked her flower magic in the tent for hours (during a surprise heat wave in September..it was blazing HOT that day) and when she arrived to the bridal suite with my bouquet there were tears of indescribable JOY an amazement. Like how did she completely get me from our emails alone? Flower dreams really do come true and Rachel deserves all the praise!

    Where do I even begin, Rachel is probably the best florist that you can hire for your wedding. The bouquets, the centerpieces, the arch... everything she did looked like it was straight out of a wedding magazine. Not only is she so talented but she is so sweet too. I am very particular when it comes to flowers (a bridezilla at times), and I wanted everything to be perfect. God bless her for tolerating my flood of emails and phone calls. She responded to every message right away and she was always very professional. I loved working with her and I just about fell over with delight when I first walked into the reception space and saw the wonderful job she had done. Five stars across the board. Thank you Rachel! You made this bride SO happy on her special day. You are the best!!

    Our flowers were incredible! Rachel is so talented at what she does! I met her at the Bowties & Bubbly event at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club in January and I knew I had to have her be my florist for our wedding. She was easy to talk to and totally understood the general ambiance and vibe we were going for in the wedding. She used Pinterest to send me over some of the flowers she was going to use and different types of centerpieces that could work and it helped bring everything to life visually. She's professional, accommodating, and so talented! I highly recommend Rachel!

    Rachel is AMAZING! During our consultation I showed her some inspiration photos and gave her a general sense of look we were going for. She came back with a proposal that included flowers I had never even hear of and it was even better than what I had imagined! She did the bouquets, centerpieces, bouts, flower girl crowns, and ceremony florals and everything came out beautifully. Several weeks later, people are still talking about the flowers! She is incredibly creative, respectful, and responsive. She was also very mindful of our budget and helped us make some swaps to keep the cost down. I loved working with her and would recommend her to any bride.

    Rachel, the owner of Floral and Bloom, is a MUST on your wedding day!! She offers two types of services - decorations and flowers. I went with both since my venue was a blank slate. When I say that she literally transformed my venue, that is an understatement. She took a ratty, old barn and made it look like those pictures you see in magazines where people have clearly spent an exorbident amount to get that perfect "barn chic" look -- but, she did it for an extremely affordable amount since we were on a strict budget. She had an even tougher job since the venue was not just one barn, but two, and a huge outdoor area...and once again, she transformed everything! Her other services are the flowers, and again, she just blew me away -- they were so beautiful, so on point...I cannot say enough! Rachel is so creative, and really listens to what you want too, which is really important.

    Rachel is also so fun to work with, keeps everything at a stress-free level, is super organized and on top of everything...basically if you want your wedding to be amazing, you need her! I would also add that my sister also used Rachel, and again, she pulled everything off in the same perfect way! Rachel is the way to go : )

    Rachel was an absolute dream to work with. She was very flexible and responsive to the many changes I requested over the course of the planning process. The flowers were exactly what I wanted and envisioned, and made for a perfect wedding day. She also delivered the flowers to three differnt locations (where I was getting ready, the church and reception venue) without any issue, and was prompt and efficient. My bouquet was stunning and I received many compliments throughout the night. I would highly recommend Rachel to anyone and was extremely happy we chose her!

    Rachel is not only incredibly talented but perhaps one of the sweetest people ever! She did the planning/design and flowers for my wedding. She was easy to work with - responsive, detail-oriented, and flexible. Rachel was also so calm and reassuring throughout the process. We had several in person meetings (most of which were at the venue) in the months leading up to the wedding and she was helpful in coordinating with the rest of our vendors. Day of, she showed up early and carried out my vision for my wedding with perfect execution. My bouquet and the centerpieces turned out beyond my wildest expectations. I received so many compliments on the floral arrangements and people were begging to take them home at the end of the evening. I recommend Rachel with hesitation! She is wonderful to work with and you will not regret your decision.

    Rachel is awesome. If I never hired her for our wedding, She's the kind of girl I would totally hang out with at a bar over a beer and just chat it up with. She is sweet, kind and extremely helpful. My wife and I got married over the weekend and I can honestly say that if it wasnt for Rachel, I don't know what we would do. I can be very stubborn so the idea of hiring an event planner or "month of coordinator" seemed like a waste of money at first. But I think I can confidently look back on the whole experience and say that I constantly found myself calling Rachel's name, asking her for a favor, sending her on errands....im sure she wanted to strangle me a couple times (i wouldn't blame her) but she did everything I asked and did it was a huge smile on her face. She made my wife's day perfect and seeing her happy was the best thing I could've asked for. She provided us with tons of flowers for our reception and ceremony, she was in constant communication with my mom and dad and catered to their every need and she made me feel comfortable on the most important day of my life. That was truly money well spent. Rachel, thank you so much for everything and just know that you made that day possible for me and Lauren. I truly can not thank you enough

    I can't even put into words how GORGEOUS the flowers were for my wedding! My husband and I had met with Rachel about 6 months before the wedding. Her prices were competitive and I felt like I was going to get more high quality flowers for my money, she did not disappoint! I showed her tons of pictures on Pinterest and she was able to see what I was envisioning for the flowers and centerpieces day of. She has a ton of her own containers and pieces (we used some of her lanterns) that she can incorporate into the centerpieces and design/look for the wedding. The bouquets were beautiful, so many lovely different flowers and it felt so fresh and natural, exactly what I was hoping for! Everyone was raving about the flowers. She and her sister came in the morning and dropped off the bouquets in glass vases and boutonnieres for the guys. Then, they set up the church and reception space beautifully. We had a mix of tall and short arrangements and they all were so beautiful. Rachel really knows what she's doing and is passionate about flowers and design! She responded quickly to any and all of my questions. She was even able to incorporate some family heirlooms into my bouquet and my Grandfather's boutonniere. I'd recommend her to anyone!

    Rachel from Floral and Bloom Designs was awesome! She was very responsive and professional. When we first started looking for a florist we met with one other florist who was recommended to us. I wanted a very specific color of lilacs that was the inspiration for the color palette of the whole wedding. Lilacs are not an extremely common wedding flower and the other florist told us that they weren't sure they could get them, but Rachel found them and they were perfect! We had a pretty good amount of flowers from two different types of centerpieces, altar flowers, bouquets, cake flowers , and a flower crown for our flower girl. Everything was beautiful and so many of our guests commented on the flowers.

    Rachel provided absolutely beautiful florals, as well as impeccable customer service, for my recent wedding. From start to finish, working with Rachel was very enjoyable. She worked with me to come up with a plan for our wedding flowers that met my vision AND budget. On our wedding day, the flowers were just as I had envisioned them. I was particularly enamored with my bouquet, which Rachel really hit out of the ball park. It was everything I had pictured, and more, and looks beautiful in all the photos throughout our (long!) wedding day.
    Additionally, Rachel stepped in less than 2 weeks before my wedding to provide day-of coordination services when my existing plans for the day off changed suddenly. She put me at ease amidst a very stressful sittuation, and quoted me a very reasonable price when she could have easily taken advantage of my desperation! Her, and her sister who was there with on the day of, were a pleasure to work with. They perfectly executed the vision I had for my day, including styling all my decor, and were ready and able to handle anything! Having them there really allowed me to enjoy my wedding day stress free. My other vendors also commented on what a pleasure they were to work with.

    I cannot recommend Floral & Bloom enough! An all around fantastic experience.

    Rachel was phenomenal to work with -- she was informative, flexible, and her work is truly spectacular! Just what I envisioned for our wedding even though I couldn't quite explain it, Rachel seemed to know exactly what I was thinking and made it happen. We ended up adding and changing a few things before the wedding and Rachel updated them easily with no added stress. Our bouquets, table arrangements, boutonnieres, and every detail were so well executed and looking back at our photos, the flowers really compliment everything perfectly.     Rachel was great to work with! You can't go wrong in having her skillset and vision for your florals. Each flower in our bouquets and arrangements was fresh and full and the textures she creates are beautiful. She was very responsive and super flexible to work with- we wound up having an extra corsage made for my out-of-town grandmother and picking it up earlier to have it sent out and Rachel was extremely accommodating. I had a general idea of what I was looking for and Rachel incorporated my thoughts as well as her expertise and everything turned out great. Thank you, Rachel, we loved our flowers!

    One thing I always dreamed of when picturing my wedding was beautiful flowers. After picking our venue and photographer, I set out to find the perfect florist (my husband really let me take the reins with this). I looked all over Maryland, DC and even Virginia. There were a few I liked, some were just too expensive or had very high minimum purchases (one had a minimum of $8,000, which was just more than we could spend). Then I came across Rachel (Floral and Bloom). I LOVED her work, really fell in love. Her prices were reasonable and within our budget, I was sold!

    I contacted Rachel and she responded very quickly. She was responsive and so easy to work with. I picked her about a year and a half before our wedding date, so my vision changed a bit throughout the process. I sent Rachel inspiration pictures of what I was looking for, and let her work her magic! To say I was happy with her work would be a huge understatement. Rachel took my vision and turned it into reality. Her arrangements were better than I could have imagined.

    Rachel arrived at the venue and set up all of the arrangements. She made sure every last detail was perfect. She offered to help with anything we needed. At the end of the night she came to pick a few things up, and even helped our family and friends clean and load boxes into the car.

    When I look back on my wedding day, I will always remember how Rachel made my dreams come true. I also gained a friend out of the experience. Rachel is such a sweet, kind hearted person. If you are looking for a florist for a wedding or for any occasion, look no further! I cannot say enough good things about Rachel/ Floral and Bloom.

    I will be the first to admit that I am horrible when it comes to articulating creative vision. Rachel was not only gracious and accommodating, but she managed to execute my vision perfectly and make it a million times better! My wedding flowers were the flowers that dreams are made of. I wanted color (!!!!) corals, greens, bright pinks and ...wow. I can't tell you how many compliments we received. Thank you, Rachel, you were so very professional and such a doll.

    Rachel was wonderful to work with! I showed her a few pictures and ideas that I had and the designs she created for our flowers were more than we could have asked for! She met us in person to discuss the designs and was always available by email if I had a question!

    Rachel did the bridal flowers for my daughters wedding this past Saturday (8/30/14). They were beautiful. I contacted Rachel in late May while in town for a few days doing wedding planning.     Booking with Rachel & Floral and Bloom was one of the easiest and BEST decisions of my wedding planning process!

    First, Rachel is wonderfully talented ~ I had several friends and family tell me that they have never seen such beautiful and romantic bouquets, boutonnieres, and floral arrangements at a wedding! Rachel even made a darling hair wreath for my flower girl, which made her feel extra special.

    Rachel really listened to our vision, understood the vibe my husband and I were going for, and then ran with it...to a place beyond our highest expectations. She really rocked it out, and she did so at a great value, AND, added bonus, with her beyond positive and charming attitude!! Plus, Rachel's talents stretch beyond floral design... She is also a wealth of wedding knowledge and offers great overall insight and suggestions. Rachel pointed me towards my amazing hair and makeup team, which was SO helpful and valuable for our big day.

    My husband and I recently worked with Floral & Bloom for flowers, decor, and day-of coordination for our wedding. Rachel and Beth were WONDERFUL to work with. They were organized, responsive, efficient, proactive, approachable and professional. They listened and cared about what we wanted for our big day, and they made it feel like we were working with friends. We were nervous about finding a florist and coordinator on a budget, but they went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect.     From the moment that I went to the Floral and Bloom Design website, I knew that Rachel would be the perfect fit for my wedding day. Her work is beyond gorgeous and her style was exactly what I was looking for and more. I really wanted my florals to look organic and chic to add to the vintage feel of my wedding.     Ahhh! Rachel was the absolute BEST and perfect choice for us and our wedding! As a wedding photographer, I have seen and photographed a ton of different wedding florals, but as soon as I saw an example of Rachel's work, I knew SHE was the one that had to be a part of our wedding. The florals were everything I dreamed of and more - but even more importantly, she was so professional, so sweet, so FUN, and so flexible, even after the "look" we were going for shifted over the course of wedding planning.     Two words ... spartacus dahlias!!! Rachel is awesome and the bouquets, bouts, centerpieces and garland she created went above and beyond what I ever could've imagined. She was easy to work with and open to ideas; she incorporated every detail I asked for from including lace from my mother's veil to including hops in the bouts. If I could give Rachel a 6, I would!     Rachel was so great to work with! I loved her bouquets & all the groomsmen's boutineers. Everyone kept complimenting them all night, and they already look stellar in the pictures I've seen. She was able to take my vision & replicate it to a T.

    Absolutely lovely flowers!

    I provided a few photos for Rachel and she really ran with the idea to make our vision come true. She designed bouquets, bouts, wedding centerpieces, ceremony and other decor.

    She was very responsive via e-mail, had great creative suggestions and it became very clear when we received the final product that she really cares about her craft.

    Rachel with Floral and Bloom Designs was great to work with. I gave her a picture of what I wanted my bouquet to look like only removing and adding 2-3 things here and there, it came out exactly the way I wanted it to look..probably even better. She's friendly and totally creative. The flowers were very important to me and she made my visions become reality on the big day. Her and her sister showed up where we got ready at my parents house in Bethesda, MD to drop our bouquets off and then went to our church close by to set the ceremony up followed by the Tysons Corner area in VA to set the reception up. We had a time gap between our ceremony and reception, I had not seem the ballroom all set and ready to go for our reception but as soon as I did I can not begin to describe how excited and happy I was with the floral centerpieces. All of the flowers were fresh, beautiful, affordable & perfect.

    BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS!!! My bouquets were absolutely gorgeous! Rachel also designed my centerpieces, boutonnières, and corsages. Everything was so elegant and complimented the dresses and atmosphere perfectly! I provided a very vague idea of what I wanted (since I know very little about flowers) and could not have dreamed of anything more perfect! Beyond ecstatic with how everything turned out!

    Rachel was an above and beyond florist! We met initially at her home in Frederick, we meaning me + fiancé and my parents. She asked all the right questions and let me show her pics of what I did and didn't want. She then brought us down to her studio space to look at vase options and other decor items! When she sent over the proposal she includes a Pinterest inspiration board to give you visuals of the florals and greenery she's thinking for your wedding - amazing! I decided to go with her because her style aligned with what I wanted and she was 'affordable'. The following months before my wedding, I shared my own Pinterest board of flower ideas with Rachel so we could collaborate, I sent her emails of flowers I would see and liked, or tagged her in Instagram photos of things I liked - she was always really open to this which I loved because I had an idea of what I wanted but couldn't quite articulate it! Then comes the wedding and everything is literally perfection! My bouquet was full but not too big, looser but not too messy! The corsages were pretty and not 'prom' looking which I was really afraid of, the flower girl flower crowns (tiaras?) were darling, the wedding cake florals (which she included for free!) were amazing, and all other florals perfecr . I had a floral + greenery garland across my sweetheart table, I loved it so much I asked one of my bridesmaids to wear it out of the venue so we could keep it! Ha! Do yourself a favor and hire Rachel her work is amazing and she doesn't take herself too seriously!

    Rachel was the reason why my friends and family called me "the most relaxed bride ever". I think when it comes to choosing your vendors, knowing you're working with professional people who you can trust is the most important thing. I had seen Rachel's work on Stylemepretty and her portfolio on her website and I loved her organic, farm-to-table style, and when I found out she did event planning as well, it was even better. Outside of the photographer and location, she found every single other vendor for me including furniture rentals, lighting, and the band, which everyone loved. My husband was hesitant at first to justify the cost of having a planner, but when the final month came around, he saw what an impact she made, especially with coordinating between the venue and the other vendors. He also became as grateful as I was that our day could be spent just having a good time without worrying about anything else.

    Overall, the flowers were spectacular, the lighting superb, the evening ran flawlessly, and most importantly, I felt comfortable and relaxed the entire time. Leave the high maintenance to others, ladies!

    Rachel told me more than once during the planning process that she was having fun designing the flower arrangements for our wedding, and it showed in the final product!
    Rachel does not do free samples of flowers, but she will meet with you in person, email with you, and call you with details and updates at any time you need. The fact that we were able to communicate so openly going into the wedding really made me trust her. The flowers turned out beautifully!
