Don't walk, run to book diana

I can not say enough good things about Diana and her team. She is the easiest person to get along with, she wants to make sure you get your perfect vision on your special day. She is so experienced and so amazing in her craft. Everyone raved about how beautiful the florals were, one of my guests is getting married and asked for her contact information because she was so impressed and had to have her do her wedding as well. You would think of how amazing and beautiful everything was, it would be incredibly expensive, but Diana is extremely reasonable in her prices. We are so so so glad we found her and trusted her with our special day.

The best florist in KC!

I don’t have enough good things to say about Floral Accents! They created my bridal bouquet, 6 bridesmaids bouquets, 7 boutonnières, a wedding arch, and 14 greenery centerpieces for a reasonable price. I based my wedding color scheme off a bouquet I saw on Pinterest. The owner, Diana, took my vision and made it her own, which turned out even better than my inspiration!

Throughout the planning process, Diana was responsive and organized. For my “something old”, Diana incorporated a piece of my late grandma’s wedding hairpiece into my bridal bouquet wrap. This small touch was meant so much to me!

The day of the wedding, Diana showed up on time and was fully prepared. I appreciate that the first thing she did was show me my bridal bouquet. I couldn’t stop gushing about it the whole day. My jaw actually dropped when I saw Diana’s work on my arch! The arch was the perfect backdrop to get married in front of.

Thanks to Floral Accents, I had the wedding flowers of my dreams! I would highly recommend them for any event that requires florals!

I cannot say enough good things about my experience working with Diana! From our first meeting with Diana, up until our wedding day, she was an absolute pleasure to work with. Diana is detail oriented, organized, flexible and responsive. Aside from knowing the colors that I wanted our floral arrangements to be, I did not have much of a vision going into my first meeting with her. She worked with me to create the perfect look and I could not be happier with how everything turned out! She did all of our table arrangements (including votives and candles) and it was absolutely stunning!

Absolutely Stunning

Diana was a dream to work with. Floral Accents provided the florals for my wedding in July 2016 (yes, I'm just getting to reviews). I couldn't have been happier! Everything was beautiful and perfect! One of our boutonnieres was lost (by someone in our wedding party) and Diana made a new one and drove it all the way back to our venue! How amazing! I cannot speak highly enough of her and Floral Accents!

Show-stopping. Stunning. Elegant. Magical.

Diana understood my vision of dramatic, classic & elegant and took it to a whole new level! Our deep red roses and calla-lilies were the perfect touch that made my wedding STUNNING. The table decor, large floral urn arrangements and bridal bouquets were extraordinary and strikingly beautiful. Show-stopping!

Add in her patience and interpersonal skills and you'll have the perfect outcome. She is especially adept at keeping peace & harmony between any mother/daughter clash - given our very different visions - and she made sure the outcome was nothing less than what we BOTH fell in love with.

She worked with our budget, delivering one of the most important accents of my wedding. Diana's confidence and gorgeous creations were exactly what we needed. The AWE-FACTOR she designed is still constantly talked about, even months later.

Beautiful flowers

Diana Ryan was awesome. The flowers for my daughter's wedding were amazing. They were exactly what we had envisioned. Diana's help and guidance in choosing the flowers really made it easy for us. She was responsive to my emails as I was living in Florida and planning the wedding from there. She is truly a professional and I would recommend her for any floral needs. Thanks, Diana.

Unique, gorgeous flowers! Amazing to work with!

Floral Accents is amazing!! Diana is so great to work with and made everything a breeze for me. I had a small idea of what I wanted and she gave me recommendations on color, flower types, style, the whole thing, and I LOVED how everything turned out!! Everyone at our wedding was gahhhhing over the flowers and kept asking who we used. Her attention to detail is amazing and she knows how to give you a really unique look! Experience Summary

Diana was very easy to work with and stayed within our budget. The flowers were absolutely beautiful. Diana delivered the flowers to the church as well as to the reception. Diana’s talent is unmatched and her flowers are what made my wedding! Her attention to detail and ease in communication is something that is needed on your big day. Diana is fabulous. She listened and created exactly what the bride wanted. All of the arrangements and bouquets were gorgeous!
Diana also did my other daughters wedding two years ago. The theme of the wedding was totally different yet she provided exactly what was desired!

Diana was incredible! We met her at our venue's expo and she was the only one to say that I could have the flowers that I wanted and if the flowers came in and weren't perfect she would work with me to find similar ones! She knew my colors and the flowers exceeded my expectations!!! Our venue was decorated and ready for the flowers and after Diana arrived and arranged everything - my vision for my wedding came to life!!! The flowers were gorgeous and just made our day and pictures that more special!!!

Diane really helped us create the "elegant island" theme we were attempting to achieve for my daughter's recent wedding. She did a wonderful job of recommending tropical flowers and putting together the arrangements for the church, reception, bridesmaids, etc. She was very easy to work with and responded very quickly to our many requests and questions. The process was made more difficult because most of the flowers had to be shipped in from Hawaii, but they were all fresh(and very fragrant). I would highly recommend Diana and Floral Accents!

Can't say enough wonderful things about Diana Ryan and Floral Accents. Not only is she one of the best florists around, she is an incredibly sweet person. She handled things very professionally and delivered beautiful flowers without much input on our part. Showed us lots of pictures and had great ideas. Very affordable. Diana was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding flowers! From the very first meeting I knew we were in good hands. She was so open to all of my ideas and really helped me pick the perfect flowers to help capture my vision perfectly! She drew detailed pictures of my vision to help her remember and make sure we were on the same page. The most notable Floral Accents item was an incredible presentation of super large, custom-dyed Hydrangeas assembled on a Birch Arbor for daughter's outdoor wedding on a small lake. The reception dinner table flower arrangements were just as unusual and wonderful.

Additionally, the up-front planning & design support for the floral arrangements was extremely helpful. Day of the wedding assembly came off exactly as planned.

Working with Diana was absolutely wonderful! She is such a kind woman and has a lot of experience being a florists. After my first time meeting with her, I knew that I could count on her to make my wedding flowers beautiful. She did a great job communicating with me whenever I emailed her and always replied back to me in a timely manner. She is very detailed oriented which shows in all of the pictures of weddings she has done. The flowers for my wedding were exactly what I was picturing them to be. Diana was such a great florist to work with! She was very knowledgeable about what type of flowers would be in and out of season for our wedding and offered alternative suggestions for more cost effective flowers. She was creative and energetic. When we received the flowers on our wedding day she showed up on time and the flowers were beautiful and fresh! Diana was amazing to work with! She has a great personality and you can tell she really loves what she does. I spoke to multiple florist around my area who were not willing to dye flowers for my wedding but Diana was willing to do so without a problem! She made everything so easy and all of the flowers were absolutely gorgeous! I could not have asked for anything more!

Diana was fantastic to work with throughout the wedding process. I explained my vision to her for my wedding and when I arrived the day of my wedding to see my venue and flowers, I almost cried. My daughter and I were introduced to Diana Ryan through a friend. We liked her so much we didn't even talk to any other floral vendors. She understood exactly what we wanted at the first meeting. We knew the flowers at the wedding would be pretty but they were absolutely gorgeous!!! Way above and beyond anything we were expecting!!! The flowers and arrangements Diana put together for our daughter's wedding were perfect. Everything about the experience was professional from sitting down with her and selecting combinations of flowers, to changing the flowers in the middle of planning, to Diana setting up the flowers at the wedding ceremony and reception. We received nothing but wonderful compliments about how gorgeous the floral arrangements were and asked who had put them together. We highly recommend Floral Accents by Diana.

Diana was wonderful to work with. She gave me ideas and suggestions but in the end it was our decision. Diana made everything so perfect for my wedding day. From the appointment, to my wedding day, she made me feel so special and the flowers were beyond my expectations. She is so knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions. I wasn't completely sure what flowers I wanted to use, I just knew the style and look I was going for and she was able to create exactly what I envisioned. I could not have been more happy and would recommend her to anyone!!

Diana Ryan is a top wedding planner in Kansas City. She has several degrees in event planning and was the head event planner for the Hyatt Regency Hotel. She has successfully planned every imaginable special occasion. My daughter's wedding was exceptional. We used tropical flowers from Hawaii and the presentation was dramatic and professionally done. Diane was amazing! She really helped out with having my flowers be cohesive and beautiful. They were vibrant and we got so many compliments! As an event coordinator, I loved working with Diana. She was wonderful to communicate with, and the quality of her work was outstanding. Diana is a seasoned professional and knows how to interpret a bride's vision into stunning and cost effective arrangements. My husband really didn't want boutenirs and she didn't press the issue, that's what he wanted. Her first choice of centerpiece holders for the flowers was perfect, and in line with the style of the wedding. Throughout, Diana made the flower decisions easy because she 'got it' after one conversation and styled everything from there. It was so easy!

Diane Ryan is the ultimate professional, as well as her entire crew!! I knew I was in good hands when we hired her. The quality of floral products was like none other and the pricing was held. Our guests made many comments on the beauty, creativity and great soft splashes of color that evoked the theme - pink and white with hydrangeas and roses. We loved Floral Accents and would recommend them to all!!! Prices were in check and Diana really works to please the Mother of the Bride and the Bride of course!!

Diana was such a joy to work with! By far the friendliest florist we met with, willing to work with my creativity and didn't shoot down any of my crazy ideas! And everything turned out so gorgeous on the day!! You really feel like she cares about you and your event--so I had no worries about how my flowers would turn out and I could enjoy the rest of the planning process! But she's still there for you the whole time to answer any questions (and she knows I had ALOT ;P) or tweak any ideas. I would recommend anyone to Diana for ANY event, especially a wedding!

Referrals is the way to go! I planned my whole wedding via referrals. Diana was a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process. She was very responsive and flexible. During our first consultation, Diana asked a lot of questions about the vision for the day - type of flowers, color, and size. I also brought pictures to show Diana of styles I liked from Pinterest and she found that to be very helpful.

The flowers the day of the wedding were perfect! Very bold and vibrant colors - just as I wanted. The flowers photographed beautifully! And held up great in the hot Kansas weather we had that day.

Choosing your florist is probably the hardest vendor of all. You are relying upon their creativity and knowledge of flowers from information they give you. Floral Accents delivered above our expectations. They were very accommodating from setting up meetings, talking about the bride's and groom's likes and dislikes, and what we wanted from them. The bouquets and the centerpieces for the reception were spectacular!! They really made the room. You could smell the fragrance of flowers when you walked into the room. Every person that we talked to that day mentioned how beautiful the flowers were. We had an October wedding and they were of beautiful fall colors. They gave quality work, affordable prices, and great beauty. I would highly recommend them for an important event that you want people to remember.

I had the privilege of working with Diana for my wedding on June 21, 2014. I can't say enough good things about my experience with her. Diana was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. She was able to work within my budget and give me exactly what I imagined. She took the time to meet with me on several occasions to make sure the flowers turned out exactly how I wanted. She was very prompt in getting back with me with any questions I had. She went out of her way to make sure I felt accommodated and taken care of. I researched a lot of florist before booking with Diana and she was the most affordable by far and her arrangements were anything but ordinary. The flowers were absolutely beautiful the day of my wedding. From the bride and bridesmaid bouquets, to the church flowers, to the reception flowers. Everything was breathtaking. I still have people commenting about how my flowers were the most stunning flower arrangements they have ever seen. I would highly recommend Diana to anyone looking for a great florist. She is experienced, accommodating and is amazing at what she does!

Diana was incredible to work with! She was by far the best deal we found when looking for flowers. She was able to create a real version of the vision in my head. She met with me several times and emailed responses very quickly. She transported the votive candles we wanted on the tables and set them up with the flowers. She delivered everything on time and everything was beautiful. I wasn't able to oversee the setup of the reception venue but I trusted her taste and was very pleased when we arrived. I can't say enough nice things about her and would recommend her to any bride looking for beautiful flowers that doesn't want to/can't spend a fortune.

We loved working with Diana! She was flexible, understood our vision and delivered exceptionally beautiful bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, centerpieces, and altar pieces. I had a very specific vision for my bridal bouquet (a picture I found on pinterest) and she matched it PERFECTLY. I was absolutely in love with it. During the planning process, I was clueless on what the boutonnieres should look like, but she was able to coordinate them with the bridesmaid bouquets so that everything worked well together.

Everything was stunning and it was such a great deal! I expected to pay a lot more for the flowers we wanted, but Diana made our vision work within our budget. Very much appreciated!

She delivered everything on time, delivered bouquets/corsages/boutonnieres directly to our bridal party, and set up the decorations beautifully. She truly brought my vision (albeit, hazy and confused vision) to life. I would recommend her to any bride, regardless if you need guidance, suggestions, or for someone to match your pictures perfectly!

We met with her three times prior to the event. Diana lost her mother during our planning. Of course that was a circumstance beyond her control. Diana was amazing in her ability to manage her private trial and her business!

We were referred to Diana from my brother and sister-in-law. She also did their wedding. I will say, Diana's creations are truly beautiful. I was impressed at my brother's wedding, and mine. We decided not to do too many flowers, and the only thing Diana did for us was bouquets, boutonnieres, and mother's corsages and we paid nearly $500. I did tell Diana that we were trying to watch our budget and I wanted very simple and inexpensive options, so I felt her quote was surprising and a bit steep. Enough that I decided to go fake until my parents stepped in and insisted I go with real, and that they would pay.

That said, because I wasn't doing a lot of flowers, and opted out after the first quote, I didn't do a lot of comparison shopping. On the other hand, my brother and his wife did, and they had a LOT more flowers in their wedding than we did - huge, beautiful centerpieces on every table - and they felt that she was quite a bargain compared to most. I would absolutely say that Diana is worth having a look at. Her work is very impressive, and if flowers are the way you want to go with your decor, she will not disappoint.

I would always ask when searching for florist if they will be present 15 minutes prior to pictures and before wedding to distribute flowers to appropriate individuals.
