Absolutely stunning

Working with Judy was a wonderful experience - she is incredibly responsive, detail-oriented, and helpful. She did an exceptionally good job at pulling together the different colors we liked and ideas we had into one cohesive theme. We didn't have traditional designed wedding "colors," but more of a color scheme (moody fall off-whites), which Judy immediately understood and helped us create. Her work is also breathtaking; we had nonstop compliments on our flower and table arrangements. 10/10 would recommend working with her!

Stunning!!!

Wow - Judy is magic!! She brought our vision to life to create the most spectacular winter wedding ever. The arbor she designed was my dream come true, and I’m getting my bouquet preserved because I refuse to part with it. Can’t recommend her enough!

Flora Fauna Sept 2020 Wedding

Judy at Flora Fauna was incredible to work with. She met with us in person back in the summer of 2019, where she came prepared with inspiration photos and ideas for our venue. From there she came up with a detailed plan, that included photos. Then COVID happened and our wedding completely changed from a large 150 person wedding to a small family event. Judy stuck with us, revised the plan, and even drove 3 hours to deliver the florals on the day. While many vendors backed out with the change in venue/size and took our deposits, Judy remained a true partner and remained flexible throughout. Beyond Judy being incredible to work with, the florals were amazing. From the tables to the dock, to the aisle and stairways Judy outdid herself!

Judy is an absolutely genius!

We were absolutely floored when we walked into both our ceremony and reception and saw the amazing work that Judy of Flora Fauna had put together. She took our vision and turned it into a reality with a stunning variety of floral arrangements that were all so beautiful. She not only created our bouquets and boutonnieres, but also created pieces for our ceremony arbor, a special chandelier, and dessert table lighting fixture. She also brought with her many decor pieces like candles, antlers, and gold deer to tie our entire look together. We would highly recommend her over and over again! She was such a joy to work with!

Judy is incredible!!

Judy was an absolute pleasure to work with and she did an incredible job with our wedding florals. We reached out to about 7 or 8 florists but knew immediately after speaking with Judy that she was the right choice for us. She really listened to what we wanted and provided us with an entire inspiration design proposal detailing everything she could do for us, before we even committed to working with her, which was so helpful to have when making such a big decision. Not only did Judy provide flowers, she also provided candles and table decor for rent, which completed our tablescape so perfectly. She was always extremely responsive and accommodating during our planning, by phone or email, and was happy to allow us to make changes right up until our wedding day. On the day of our wedding, Judy was there to personally deliver bouquets and boutonnieres and ensure that everything was set up perfectly before she left. She worked closely with our venue and day-of coordinator to schedule dropoff and set up seamlessly. Every floral display was even more beautiful than we expected and we couldn't have been happier. The blooms she was able to source were absolutely gorgeous. Judy is really more than a florist and has a great eye for design. We had a chance to chat with Judy while she was picking up the rented items the day after our wedding and she was so lovely and kind in person. If you're looking for someone to not only provide amazing flowers and decor, but also connect with you and care for how your event turns out, you won't do better than Judy and Flora Fauna.

I can't thank Judy enough for the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen at my wedding. I actually burst into tears when she handed me my bouquet- just speechless. She is also one of the kindest and sweetest people I have met and it was an absolute joy working with her. Every part of my experience with Flora Fauna far exceeded my expectations. Judy went above and beyond in every way and is truly a master of her craft. She worked within our budget, offered suggestions, and was extremely responsive, helpful and attentive. She attended planning meetings and walk throughs and checked in with us regularly. I honestly cannot say enough, and hope to be able to work with her again. THANK YOU, JUDY!

Amazing detail oriented florist!

Judy is AMAZING! I'm overly detail oriented and love design, so I was worried about finding a perfect florist for our big day. From the moment I talked to Judy and she sent me and idea board, I knew she would be perfect for our wedding! Her design ideas and visions were right in line with mine. I couldn't be more impressed with Flora Fauna and the attention to detail Judy put into our wedding! The table settings, bouquets, center pieces, table linens, and everything in between came together so perfectly. Judy was unbelievable, when I saw the way she transformed our wedding venue it was almost like she was able to read my mind! Everything looked better then what I even imagined! Judy was super easy to work with always available for questions and requests. I am so thankful for everything she did to make our wedding a beautiful event! I cannot express how grateful I am to have hired Judy from Flora Fauna for our wedding day. Not only is she the sweetest person to work with, but she does a FANTASTIC job. Judy took the vision I had for our day and took it to a whole new level -- I especially loved how much she included locally grown, seasonal flowers into our wedding look. I had multiple guests come up to me to specifically tell me how beautiful my florals world. From our first conversation, to our site visit to discuss the overall look, and finally to the day of where she arrived at 7am to ensure everything was just perfect, Judy was the perfect vendor. Judy was a dream to work with. From the start, she was so involved in learning my vision and getting a very clear understanding of what I liked and expected. I trusted her fully...really just giving her an idea of the colors I liked, and she ran with it...providing full details of the exact flowers she would use and even a break out of the percentage of colors in the overall event. She fully put me at ease through the process. She kept in contact from the moment I signed the contract, down to the final days before the event. She didn't hesitate to clarify any details (which is SO appreciated) and was able to make last minute changes. We went with our inside ceremony last minute and she changed the arbor decor to free standing floral vases. She even offered to create a hair piece as she was waiting for the ferry to the island. WHAT! She is an absolute genius in floral design and is so invested in making the event perfect. I couldn't have been happier with my table designs as well. It couldn't have matched my vision any better. Having Judy at my wedding was a dream come true.

We worked with Judy for flowers and event planning for our wedding. The flowers and decor were creative and looked amazing, all of the details were everything my wife had hoped for and even better than she had imagined, but for me, where Judy really shined was running the show at the wedding. Not a single detail was overlooked, we didn't have to focus on anything but having a great time. My wife made fun of me for how many times I said "Judy is a rockstar!" for anticipating any and every issue and intervening before it became a problem. Even when my tie clip broke in the middle of taking pictures, Judy Macgyvered a fix within minutes. We can't recommend her enough!

Judy is the Maine Flower Queen! Working with her from our very first phone call to when she hand delivered my bouquet and bridesmaid’s hairpieces was a joy. She had an intuitive sense of my bridal style and produced gorgeous arrangements and floral details that had my guests talking about them well after the wedding. Judy and her team also hand-made the arbor that my husband and I got married under, and she made exactly like I envisioned it. I actually made several requests last minute, and she more than delivered. Judy is cheerful, professional, and down-right talented at what she does. I wish I could work with her again!

We used Flora Fauna for both flowers and event planning for our wedding. The flowers and decor were gorgeous and really creative, and Judy made sure that the whole night went so smoothly that we didn’t have to worry about a thing.

Judy and her team at Flora Fauna are the reason my wedding went off without a hitch. After my wedding venue fell through less than 6 months before my wedding, Judy reached out to her network and helped us put together an amazing team to ensure our wedding would still go on as planned. As it turns out, our actual wedding day was even more beautiful than either my husband or I (or our families) could have ever imagined - all thanks to Judy and her team.

Judy has an eye for color and design. Not only did she put together absolutely stunning flower arrangements (bouquets, centerpieces, floral arbor, flower girl crown, to name a few), she helped us bring our whole design together through the linens, napkins and spectacular antique china plates and glassware (which you can rent directly from Judy)! Our guests are still talking about how beautiful Judy's flowers were, and how she completely transformed our space (a barn). My only regret is that I didn't think to preserve my bouquet, so that I could cherish it forever!

I have already recommended Judy to friends and family, and will continue to do so. I plan to use her again for family gatherings and future events. She will bring your Pinterest board to life - and with a smile on her face! You don't need to look any further - Judy is your gal for all of your floral and design needs!

Judy is absolutely incredible and has an eye for design that is well above and beyond other wedding florists. She was able to take my unique vision for my wedding and not only create it but elevate it to make it even better and more meaningful. She created an inspiration board that really helped to convert my vision into a reality and was always available via email for revisions throughout the process. She is professional and efficient and was there early on my wedding day to set up everything. The florals and design elements that she pulled together on my wedding day were honestly beyond my wildest dreams. She surpassed all expectations and created a magical setting for the most perfect day. She has an elegant sense of style and if you are looking for a florist who is truly a designer, she's your woman. She is also a lovely person and wonderful to work with. Judy was amazing the start. Over a year's worth of back and forth emails of adjusting and adding, she was always available and flexible. The way she created the inspiration document with pictures for each aspect really made me feel at ease never having to see the flowers or never meeting her until the day of. The decision to have Judy with Flora Fauna take care of our wedding on 9/4/16 was by far the best choice! From our first meeting, Judy captured the flavor I was going for in an amazing vision board then delivered on the big day BEYOND my expectations! She turned our backyard wedding into the most stunning, magical setting!!! If you want the best quality this is the place to go. Judy did an amazing job! She grasped immediately the look and feel we wanted and she delivered it . . . and then some! After our originally booked florist closed her business and canceled on our wedding, we found Judy in a pinch. Everything happens for a reason and I am SO thankful for this happy ending. Judy effortlessly understood my vision and made my flower dreams come true. Our all white flowers were fresh, vibrant, and plentiful. The bridal bouquets were to die for and received countless compliments. My dress was simple in the front and my bouquet added the perfect amount of glamour without overpowering, Judy also has many tricks up her sleeve such as lanterns, vases, votives, and other small details that put the finishing touches on your look. Judy is top notch and any couple is lucky to have her!!!!

Judy did an amazing job in helping us with the overall look of our wedding. Not only were the flowers themselves beautiful, but her skills in event design led to her creation of an overall seamless look for the wedding, including complementary table overlays and using accent details we requested -- such as decorative mussel shells into the bases of our arrangement vases and on the place card table -- that we absolutely loved. She is extremely professional and able to work flexibly; we planned our wedding from out of state, and she was able to accommodate meeting with us in person during our travel to Maine to discuss our initial ideas, and then refine through email and phone contact at our request. Judy also understands the unpredictability of Maine weather and was able to communicate with our venue and adapt our ceremony decorations for use with our indoor rain plan on short notice. The quality of her work is outstanding and we received lots of compliments from our guests!

I hardly have the words to describe how f*cking amazing (pardon the cuss, but it's necessary for the appropriate emphasis of amazing) Judy is. I worked through my wedding planner to plan the florals and Judy just knocked it out of the park. I wanted big, flowing, full, luscious, colorful, unique, creative florals all executed with varied heights and vessels -- and within a certain budget, of course -- and the woman delivered above and beyond my wildest expectations. I cried when I had to dismantle my bouquet and I'm not kidding you when I say I look back at the pictures of our florals every day since we got our wedding photos back. Flowers may be ephemeral, but they are so worth it. If you can work with Judy, DO IT.

Where to even begin with Judy?! She made the wedding of our dreams come true. I had a very specific vision for the design of my wedding from the table cloths to bouquets to the card table. Judy was amazing to work with and I never worried for one second during the whole process that she would make everything gorgeous. Just looking at her past weddings reassured me of that but meeting with her in person really erased any last worry I had. She has such an eye for beauty and she has exquisite taste. She also provided me with a lot of great other vendor recommendations. I could go on and on and on about how wonderful Judy is but essentially choosing Flora Fauna to do my flowers and my wedding design was one of the best decisions I made during my wedding planning process.

I saw Judy’s work via Facebook a few different weddings and it was amazing! I inquired about her services and she was so easy to talk to and helpful! The process was very easy, she asked what I was looking for and asked if she could view my Pinterest page. She made an entire inspiration board from my Pinterest and it truly was my fairytale dream wedding. Things I thought were impossible, she made possible. She met us at the venue months before the wedding and showed us how everything would look. In addition to Flowers we also used Judy for rentals (chairs, table cloths, chargers, napkins). It was the best decision, knowing that she had the vision made me much more comfortable throughout the process knowing Judy would be the one putting everything together wedding day. The morning of the wedding when Judy came to drop off the girls bouquets she snapped a few pictures of the set up at the country club so I could see, knowing that my fiancé and I would not be able to view the ballroom before the reception started. Everything was already set up at 10am for a 5pm reception, talk about making a bride feel comfortable!! Judy took so much stress off my plate and I trusted her with everything. Her professionalism and eye for detail is incredible. People will say “flowers are flowers” and not a big deal but our flowers made our wedding!! They were absolutely amazing! All of our guests were commenting on how full our centerpieces were and how beautiful the urns at the church and unity candle arrangement were. Judy’s flower arrangements were worth every penny!! Judy’s design exceeded everything I could have imagined, I was blown away by my bouquet and the personal details she was able to incorporate (My mother’s lace from dress intertwined with material from my dress) She made my fairy tale wedding come to life. I cannot recommend her enough. Judy you are amazing!!

Working with Judy was a completely satisfying and delightful experience. Judy spent time getting to know my daughter and me and created a floral design for the wedding that far exceeded our hopes and expectations. My daughter was struggling with health issues in the months leading up to the wedding so we had to leave a lot of the nitty gritty decision making up to Judy. She is phenomenal! When we laid eyes on the magic she had created for the special day, we were totally blown away. The beauty of it all literally made me cry. Judy and Flora Fauna are really the best! And I know- we have hosted three weddings in four years! Thank you Judy, a million times over, thank you!!

I cannot recommend Judy enough! My flowers were absolutely breathtaking and I genuinely was unable to speak when I saw them because they were EXACTLY what I had envisioned. Even thinking of them now leaves me unable to put into words how perfect they turned out and how happy I am that I used her as my florist. She is such a warm, personable and professional person. Since I planned my wedding from MD when it was in ME she and I communicated a lot by email. She always got back to me in a timely manner and was accommodating of my schedule when I made my trips up to Maine to get things in order. She drove 45 minutes up to my venue to do a walk through and finalized details several months before our wedding and really left me feeling reassured that she understood what I wanted the wedding to look like. I could not be happier with how my flowers turned out and the total experience I had working with her was amazing. If you don't use her as your Florist you are missing out!!!

I cannot say enough great things about Judy at Floral Fauna. The flowers on my wedding day were absolutely gorgeous. Everyone kept saying how stunning they all were. The flower arrangements on each table were above and beyond. The different pink rose displays were out of a movie! My bouquet as well as my bridesmaids bouquets were perfect. She designed my guest book table with a a sign that said "love notes" and an old fashioned type writer for the guests to type a message. Everyone loved it! The flowers on my cake and candy bar were amazing. Everyone loved the flowers for the ceremony as well. Judy is by far the best. You will not be disappointed. She is truly gifted at what she does!

Judy did a wonderful job on my flowers for our wedding. She took my vision and brought it to life. Seeing my bouquet, the girls bouquets, the table centerpieces, and the HUGE urns of flowers for the ceremony and escort cards just took my breath away. It was exactly (if not better) than I could've imagined. I was able to rent linens, chargers, vases, etc. from her as well. Her services were worth every penny spent and you can tell that Judy puts in a lot of time and effort- a true labor of love. Thank you Judy for surpassing my expectations- we loved everything!

Judy provided the flowers and other decorations at our wedding ceremony and reception. All of her work was absolutely incredible. We planned our wedding remotely as we live in New York but the wedding was in Boothbay. Judy spoke with me on the phone several times and listened carefully to what I wanted at the wedding and was terrific at providing suggestions. She also met with us when we visited Maine before the wedding and we had a really productive consultation. I showed her a children's book that served as my inspiration for the flowers and colors, and Judy did an absolutely amazing job at turning everything I wanted into reality. The flowers and decorations were simply beautiful and set the perfect tone for our wedding. We would recommend Judy to anyone because she is truly talented and professional.

I knew right away that I would be happy with Judy's flowers. However, my husband and I were both overwhelmed by how amazingly beautiful our ceremony and reception flowers turned out. Flora Fauna was worth every penny we spent. I really believe that it was our flowers that made everything cohesive, and Judy really knows how to use her work to set the tone for the day. There are not enough words to describe how wonderful Judy is. We were first introduced to Judy's work at a friend's wedding in Portland Maine. We loved what she did for them so I contacted her, unsure if she would do a wedding in MA. From our 1st conversation we knew Judy was the right florist for us. She is incredibly creative, an excellent listener and so, so helpful. I didn't necessarily have an exact vision for what I wanted the flowers and the decor for the wedding to look like (I was much better at recognizing what I didn't want) but from a short list of flowers I loved and colors I wanted incorporated Judy created arrangements and an overall theme/feel that far exceeded any of our expectations! Our wedding was absolutely beautiful and most of that is credited to Judy's amazing work!
Since Judy is an event planner as well we also hired her for day of coordinating another testament to her warm and welcoming personality. My husband and I knew if she was there behind the scenes organizing and handling everything we could relax and really spend our time enjoying the wedding and that's exactly what we did. The entire day ran so smoothly it almost hard to believe that it actually happened. Judy was beyond organized, and everything she does is so seamless--we never felt rushed or unprepared, it's as if we just floated through the day and that is all credited to Judy!
There isn't enough we can say about Judy as a florist and event coordinator, she is incredibly talented and made our day something we will treasure forever!

I had never met Judy from Flora Fauna until the day of the wedding. She had seen the colors for the wedding and knew we wanted a fall feeling to it and she completely nailed it perfectly. The flowers were amazing and brought the whole wedding together!

FLORA FAUNA was a terrific choice !! My daughter had found Judy and she graciously met with us at the Colony Hotel in May when we came to put the final touches on her wedding weekend in Aug. Judy walked us through every detail and made constructive suggestions. I have known Judy (Owner of Flora Fauna) for serveral years on a professional and personal level. As many young women, I had my wedding planned out to a certain extent. Being a former wedding planner I knew what I wanted and what my priorities were and where I wanted to spend the money. When it was time to actually plan the wedding I was full of ideas. I met with Judy and printed a million pictures of designs, colors, arrangements, etc. I wanted to incorporate multiple design elements and didnt know where to start and she put it all together for me. I gave her the "go-ahead" to do what she wanted. I gave her a price range I could spend and she ran with it! I can't even express my emotions and appreciation with all of her talents, hard work, her staff, expertise, creativity, etc. that made my wedding truly unique, elegant, classy, fun, festive and so much more! It was unbelievebly stunning! People wont stop talking about it and it has been over two weeks now. I hear, "I have never seen arrangements and designs like this before" and so much more.
Judy and her Flora Fauna team is amazing and will make anyone's wedding vision come true and above and beyond! Truly amazing!

Judy Bourgeois at Flora and Fauna was amazing to work with. She is a genuinely nice person, was always responsive to emails and is just incredibly talented. Many of our guests (even a few guys!) commented on how stunning the flowers looked, and the folks at the Whitehall Inn (where the reception was held and where they do many weddings each year) said they were some of the prettiest centerpieces that they had seen.

The quality of service and end product much exceeded my expectation. Judy was friendly, professional and inspirational throughout the entire wedding process. She was accommodating and flexible when necessary. She went above and beyond to make the day special and beautiful. Judy was a delight to work with. Right when we met her we knew she was going to be our florist for our wedding. She was right on time for our meeting, came prepared with pictures for us to look at and after explaining what we were looking for she knew exactly what we wanted and described what she will do perfectly.

She delivered above and beyond on the day of. We could not have been happier with her work. She did everything we wanted her to do and more. Her cost were resonable and her services were stellar.

If you are looking for an excellent florist I would highly recommend Flora Fauna.

Judy and the Flora Fauna staff were FANTASTIC! I live in Boston, so I only had a chance to meet with Judy a couple times before the wedding, but due to her professionalism I trusted her to take care of all the details without always having to consult me. All I knew when I hired Flora Fauna for my fall wedding was that I wanted "fall colors" and "unique" table arrangements. That wasn't much to go on, but Judy and her staff got super creative with the freedom and completely exceeded my expectations. Not only were all of the details -- from the bridal party flowers all the way to the centerpeices -- gorgeous and impeccably designed, it was astounding that we were able to get such things for a relatively low cost. Judy can work with the smallest of budgets and turn a little money into a major "wow" production. To this day, people still compliment our flowers! Thank you again, Judy and Flora Fauna for making our wedding day so beautifully memorable!

Judy of Flora Fauna Designs is absolutely AMAZING!!! It's actually difficult to put into words just how incredible she is. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone and everyone. Judy is one of the most happy, bubbly, patient, and creative people I have ever met. Planning a wedding can be really stressful in lots of ways, and out of all the vendors we used, Judy is hands down my favorite. I was so excited every time we planned to meet :). Being around Judy actually reminded me that wedding planning is supposed to be fun. In all honestly, Judy created my dream wedding. Based on my scattered thoughts Judy was able to interpret my style 110% accurately-- when the wedding day arrived, I was BLOWN AWAY by how perfect every detail was and how they all blended together and PERFECTLY matched my style! And Judy did it all with a smile on her face :). I even purchased some pillows exactly like the ones she used at the reception and they are now in my living room-- I liked them that much. My venue was a blank white canvas so flowers and centerpieces were really important to me. I spent months, well... actually over a year worrying about what I was going to do. I finally handed over my "vision" over to Judy and her team and ended up with wedding flowers that were more beautiful than I could have EVER imagined! Stunning flowers & wedding design!

Judy was by far one of the best vendors we hired for our wedding day in Kennebunkport, Maine. We already had a special connection because she was my first grade teacher years ago! :) It was great to reconnect with Judy and work with her in a different way. Not only does Judy design gorgeous floral arrangements, but she also has such an eye for all types of wedding design. She placed our guest table cards for the reception in boxes of baby's breath, something that our guests noticed and complimented. With some extra flowers that Judy had, she created two additional urns of flowers that were placed at the entrance to our ceremony. My bouquet was stunning and matched the vision that I had in mind perfectly. She went above and beyond and helped us throughout the entire wedding planning process - twice, since we postponed due to COVID-19. You will not regret hiring Judy as your florist. We worked with Flora Fauna for my niece's wedding in Maine. Everything was beautiful and perfect. The couple had very specific ideas and wanted a very natural atmosphere for their ceremony site and table setting. Flora Fauna was so helpful with ideas and recommendations. Judy was really wonderful to work with and her experience and expertise made a world of difference on our wedding day. The wedding coordinator at our venue was extremely new, but thankfully Judy had designed events there before and knew exactly what to do to make everything come together just right. Our flowers were absolutely gorgeous. She even worked with a Peony farmer in Alaska to make sure I had peonies at our August wedding. It meant the world to me. The bouquets she made for me and my bridesmaids were the most beautiful I'd ever seen. I was so floored when she showed them to us.
The only itty bitty thing I wish had been different was that she had used the table numbers that we had planned/paid for. Our design called for hand cut wooden numbers then painted gold, but instead she used table numbers that appeared to have been burned into wood that hard a sort of bbq vibe that I thought clashed with our design, but at the end of the day, I really didn't care. There were too many other details to love. (I'll include a picture to show you what I mean about the numbers.)

Judy was easy to work with and her creative ideas were very helpful. I absolutely loved the final result. My bouquet was perfect and the overall look of the wedding was just as I imagined it. I would highly recommend her to another bride.

Flora Fauna did an exceptional job of bringing the vision we had for the decor of our wedding to life. Judy has a great eye for style and did an amazing job achieving our "casual elegance" look for our ceremony, cocktail hour and seated dinner. The flowers she got were of extraordinary quality and her arrangements are gorgeous. You definitely need to pay for this level of quality, but we found it was worth it. And she did work within our budget. She also accommodated us- as we live in NYC- by coming to meet us in person several times. This made planning a destination wedding much easier and I was grateful for that.

I showed Judy a page from a magazine that was my inspiration for our reception table and she recreated the look. It was a scaled down version to fit our budget. It looked wonderful and we received so many compliments. Thank you!!

I was extremely disappointed with Flora Fauna service. Flora Fauna was late to my wedding event and the flowers were in bad condition. The last think you want on your wedding day is to have a vendor show up late and disrupt your whole schedule. It will add a lot of stress. Flora Fauna was the only vendor I was dissatisfied with for my whole wedding.
