We cannot recommend Hannah and her team highly enough. I came to them just 6 weeks before my wedding in a panic after my previous florist fell through, and from day one, they exceeded every expectation. Hannah immediately jumped on a call with me, reassured me, and made me feel confident that they could handle everything on such short notice. The proposal was turned around extremely quickly, and any changes were addressed the same day—no long waits at all.
Our wedding was at Christmas, and we had a very specific vision. They nailed it perfectly—the room was magical and festive, and multiple guests came up to tell me how beautiful it looked. They even helped us repurpose our flowers for the next-day brunch, putting them in vases so we could take them home. They went above and beyond, and our flowers are still beautiful a week later. From start to finish, they were professional, attentive to detail, and genuinely caring. I miss working with them - truly the best florist experience! -

I would choose Flor De Casa again and again
Flor De Casa brought my floral vision to life with absolute perfection. From our very first email, Shanda and her team were warm, welcoming, and truly invested in understanding what I envisioned for our day. During our initial consultation, Shanda was intentional and thorough, walking through every detail to ensure we were aligned. Whenever adjustments were needed, they were flexible, supportive, and easy to work with.
I heard such wonderful feedback from our planner about their execution on the wedding day, and it showed. Hannah and the entire team were incredible. From the ceremony to the reception, not a single detail was overlooked. No corners were cut. Everything felt thoughtfully placed and beautifully designed. The arrangements on our wedding day were exactly what I imagined fresh, high-quality blooms that were vibrant, elegant, and truly elevated the entire space.
Wedding florals can be a significant investment, but Flor De Casa was worth every single penny. Their craftsmanship, professionalism, and care exceeded all expectations. I would choose Flor De Casa again and again, and highly recommend them to any couple looking for stunning and premium florals. -

The best experience!
Hire them for your wedding! From our initial consultation call, I got a great vibe from Shanda. With just a few details, she drafted a beautiful and thoughtful proposal that tied together and elevated our DC spring fusion wedding. Shanda is so kind and a great listener, offering helpful advice but also leaning into her clients' interests and vision. My jaw actually dropped seeing the finished product the day of the wedding. The team was efficient, punctual, and reliable. Couldn't have had a better experience! -

Our Floral Dreams Come True!
The absolute best and energetic floral team! Every conversation we had with Shanda and her team made us feel like our perfect day was safe in their hands and WOW did they deliver! We especially appreciated vendors that we could feel genuine care and connection with, and from the first video call we could feel the excitement, kindness, and passion beaming off of Shanda. Everything from our ceremony to our flip space reception was absolute perfection and made our wedding space dreams come true. There wasn't a single guest that wasn't in awe of our wall climbing greenery and florals. Trusting this team with their creative passion and skills was the easiest and best choice we could've made. -

Highly Recommend!
Shanda and her team were incredible! They were so patient with me throughout the wedding planning process as I was trying to refine the vision for our day and what florals I wanted. They were also extremely respectful of our budget which was SO appreciated. I made so many changes up until the change deadline and there was never any pushback from the team - they graciously incorporated my changes even though I'm sure it was a headache for them! At the final walkthrough Shanda was so kind and took so much care in pairing the floral color palette with our linens and the venue. The florals on the day of our wedding were more beautiful than I ever could have imagined! We got so many compliments - we would definitely recommend Shanda and team! -

Dream Wedding Florist
I cannot recommend Shanda and her team enough. She is a creative genius who made my Pinterest wedding floral board come to life. I initially met with other florists and one told me the flowers I wanted wouldn’t be possible. When I met with Shanda she had vendors that could get me the flowers I wanted, was personable, and created a perfect proposal based on what we discussed. My wedding day florals were a dream and I’m so happy I chose the Flor De Casa team for our day. Highly recommend. -

We loved working with Shanda and her team! In the planning phases she was able to make sense of our vision, especially when we had a hard time articulating exactly what we were looking for. She was responsive, offered good ideas, and was respectful of our budget. I wanted to weave varying-sized disco balls amidst our florals and candles, and trusted her to execute it all. They did a fabulous job. On the day of, she and her team brought the whole vision even better than we had anticipated! Everything looked perfect! Shanda and her team were timely, super attentive to detail, and friendly throughout the day. I highly recommend Flor de Casa! -

Shanda and her team are wonderful.
We met early on to discuss our vision, and Shanda promptly sent us a proposal that both matched that vision and added to it. She heard me on the fall colors (oranges, reds, purples) and had great ideas about how to use the flowers along with other decor to create an even more beautiful look. She was super flexible as we determined the final details.
On the day of the wedding, the final product was everything I imagined and more. I I truly couldn't have loved the arrangements more, and we got lots of compliments from our guests.
Flor de Casa made my fall wedding dreams come true. :)

Shanda and her team are amazing!!
Words cannot express how thankful we are to have worked with Shanda and her team! If there was a person whose personality matched the beauty that they create- Shanda would 100% be that person. Finding the right florist/decor team can be difficult to navigate and once we found Shanda we knew she was the perfect fit for us. She took our vision of a Black Tie- Grecian Night garden and literally made magic. She was also extremely respectful of our budget, and was so patient as we worked through various suggestions to breathe life into our vision. -

From our very first call with Shonda and her team, we knew we were in good hands! To be honest, I was never a bride that had much of a vision for florals or decor. With just a few questions, the team at flor de casa was able to put together a mood board that worked amazingly and delivered a totally beautiful final result! They were highly responsive and easy to work with along the way too. We ended up adding some boutineers and mini bouquets at the last minute and they were really flexible. -

Nothing but great things to say about Flor de Casa designs. They listened to my wants and ideas about my floral vision, suggested creative approaches, and were able to come up with a really stunning melding of classic color palates with more modern floral shapes and arrangements. Their responsive and easy communication made the planning process feel really seamless. The load in and execution was quick and efficient, and they worked respectfully within the restrictions of the historic house venue. Absolutely nothing was better than seeing their designs come to life on the day of our wedding- every bouquet and arrangement was perfect and the blooms they selected were beautiful and made a visual impact, without overpowering or competing with the other elements of our tablescapes or venue's decor. I would recommend this business to anyone looking for a fresh, design-centered approach, where creativity and thoughtfulness result in gorgeous floral creations. -

Amazing!
Shanda and her team were nothing short of amazing to work with and see my vision come to life on my wedding day. Shanda was always responsive and really took the time to work with me, especially because I had an idea of what I wanted but also wasn't exactly sure at the same time. Shanda and her team exceed my expectations and would highly recommend to anyone looking for an amazing florist in the DC/VA/MD area!! -

Absolute perfection.
If you're looking for a rockstar florist, Shanda is your girl. From our first zoom consultation, I was obsessed with her incredible designs. She was so easy to work with through all stages of wedding planning and design changes/updates. Our venue had incredibly high ceilings which posed a bit of a last minute logistical challenge, but Shanda had it figured out in no time. She also knocked our unique escort display out of the park! I'll never forget how excited I was during our wedding day watching her and the FDC team from the bridal suite as they decorated our ceremony location. Our wedding guests still bring up how beautiful our florals were! In addition to her incredible talent, Shanda has the best bubbly, upbeat personality which was so refreshing during the sometimes stressful wedding planning process. If you want a day you'll never forget with the best florist around, make sure Flor de Casa is part of your day! Thank you for everything Shanda!! -

Florals & decor were a dream!
Shanda knocked it out of the park! Her flowers were delicate and beautiful, and everything flowed so organically. Every stem was meant to be exactly where it was placed! I wish I could've taken that arch home with me! Sitting at the head table with her flower arrangements was surreal. The colors all blended together so well, cohesive and complementary in a beautiful and interesting way. She's truly an artist! -

We loved working with Shanda and her team. Their pricing was on par with other floral design vendors so that was an easy sell but choosing vendors is about more than price. Personality matters! They were very responsive starting from our first inquiry and genuinely made us feel like they wanted to work with us as much as we wanted to work with them. This makes a big difference. We decided to go with Flor de Casa's floral design and decor package and also worked with them on our wedding design concept. The latter was especially helpful. Over the course of 2 calls and a few weeks, Shanda helped us think through the tabletop rentals that would bring our overall vision to life. In the end, we ended up with beautiful arrangements, special touches like greenery on the chandeliers and a unique ceremony arch, and specialty linens that we would've never found without Shanda. Their team was easy to work with and very flexible as we finalized our guest count, layout, and tweaked our floral needs. They were truly a pleasure to work with! -

Top-notch in all respects
When we needed flowers for our small backyard COVID-19-adjusted wedding, Flor de Casa came to our rescue. We haven't yet had the chance to meet Shanda in person, but somehow through one video chat she really listened and heard us and just "got" us, and understood what our vision was for the day.
The bouquet and boutonniere were exactly what we had hoped for, the flower-adorned copper chuppah was more beautiful than the Pinterest examples we had shared with her, and she adorned our wedding cake with petals which we hadn't expected but which were PERFECTION -- they just took it to the next level! That's what Shanda and her team do -- they everything to the next level with their passion and creativity. I felt like she somehow read my mind in putting it all together -- it was exactly as I had hoped it would be.
We got married in Sept. of 2020 and we're just starting to plan a wedding celebration for fall of 2021 when we can (hopefully) safely gather with friends and family, and you can bet we'll be asking Shanda to provide the flowers! -

Perfect from beginning to end!
Shanda and her team were awesome to work with from start to finish; we're so glad we found Flor de Casa!
We had basically no idea what we wanted when we started planning our wedding but I stumbled across the Flor de Casa instagram and fell in love with Shanda's designs. Despite not really knowing what to ask for, Shanda was able to put together a proposal that totally fit our vision for the day. She was happy to work with us to adjust as we approached our wedding date.
Things couldn't have turned out better on the day! My bouquet was gorgeous, as were my bridesmaids' bouquets and the matching ceremony/sweetheart table arrangements. Guests and other vendors couldn't stop commenting on the amazing the floating baby's breath clouds installed throughout the space. These were just -so cool- and her team clearly worked really hard to put them together. Plus, we noticed that some extra flowers were sprinkled throughout our space and deeply appreciated such thoughtful touches.
The florals at our wedding were everything we could've hoped for and we would highly, highly recommend Flor de Casa! -

Flor de Casa Designs
Short story: Shanda and her team are amazing and unmatched in this industry.
Long story: After extensive research to find the right florist, I came across Flor de Casa Designs. The moment I started browsing their website I knew there was something special about this company, as every bouquet had something unique and beautiful about it. I could tell the designer put her heart and soul into her work. So I immediately scheduled a consultation with Shanda (the owner) and was sold from then on out. Her energy is one of a kind and she truly makes you feel like you are her only wedding (even though you know she is a lady boss who has a million different things going on). Anyways, I requested that she incorporate cascading orchids into my bridal bouquet, as they are special symbol in my family, and she knocked.it.out.of.the.park. The moment I saw my bridal bouquet I cried tears of joy and shock. It was the most beautiful flower arrangement I had ever seen. Moving past the flowers, her operations are also on top of it. Two weeks before our wedding (yes, two weeks) I realized that I had made the mistake of telling her we only had 8 round tables....but we had 15. I emailed her in a panic and she immediately made me feel at ease with an "it's all good! let's make this happen" response. Again, unmatched. A true gem.
So thank you Shanda and team for making our wedding as beautiful as it was. You are truly amazing!

Shanda did our wedding flowers for our wedding in July. The whole process was seamless, I had a vision I created on Pinterest, I sent her the link and voila! I could tell she knew exactly what I wanted when she sent me the proposal for the flowers. She’s also really flexible, as wedding plans kept coming together, there were pieces I realized I wanted to add or swap for other arrangements, and Shanda was more than accommodating to me double and sometimes triple emailing her during the day. Shanda will also be a hype woman for you!!! I didn’t meet her until the day of my wedding, but I was greeted with a huge smile and encouragement! I would absolutely recommend her to anyone planning a wedding or event. Her arrangements and flower pairings are so unique and we got so many compliments!!! Thanks Shanda :) -

When we first got engaged, I wasn't very concerned about flowers.
Honestly thought we could try and be modest about it and use that money elsewhere! Wrong!
I had actually gotten quotes from a few other florists before talking to Shanda, and everyone's proposal with ideas when I would explain it to them was not very close to the look we were going for.
Then I remembered Shanda did my friends wedding last fall, and I recalled how beautiful everything was!
I then talked to Shanda and she hit the nail right on the head with the ivory/greenery with candles look we were going for.
Everything turned out perfect on the day of (even better than imagined) and received many, many compliments about it as well!
Super responsive and SO easy to work with- would recommend to anyone!!

I researched potential florists for months until I came across Shanda & her company, Flor de Casa Designs. I followed her Instagram as well as her blog and the first thing that appealed to me was her personality. She is such a beautiful soul and it comes through in all her work. The first time we spoke was during a phone consultation on my way home in a commuter bus and I wasn't sure I fully expressed my thoughts but when we finally met in person, I was beyond impressed because of how professional and organized she is and also because of how much she actually listened to EXACTLY what I wanted from only one conversation. We immediately hired Shanda and her team as our florist then added on her decor services and finally hired her to be our day-of coordinator. Shanda is poised and knows exactly how to execute. -

I loved working with Shanda for our wedding! I was first impressed by the proposal she drew up for our bouquets and corsages for our wedding. She was extremely flexible with payments and responsive with emails throughout the process. When I arrived in the bridal suite on my wedding day, i was blown away at our bouquets! They were more than i could have dreamed of. They were the perfect compliment to our modern romance theme and look beautiful in our pictures. Shanda is INCREDIBLE!! I planned my Northern Virginia wedding from Los Angeles, where I live. I relied heavily on the internet when searching for vendors as I was unable to attend expos from across the country. I found Flor d Casa Designs through a Virginia weddings hashtag search on Instagram. Their photos immediately caught my eye and I knew I had to have their floral design for my wedding. Shanda was so easy to talk to, I felt immediately like we were friends. When we finally got a chance to meet for a site visit, I knew we were on the same page for what to do with the space. Shanda heard my vision and exceeded my expectations. I was getting married at a farm but wanted to bring some more modern/west coast elements in to the mix and she did just that. My bridal bouquet was AMAZING. Shanda recommended using King Protea flowers in my bouquet and each of the brides maids carried one. I have since had several inquires as to what type of flowers they were because people were obsessed. Guests at the wedding could not stop taking pictures with my arbor because of how beautiful Shanda made it look. Shanda made me feel so special leading up to and during my big day and I could not have asked for a better florist to work with! -

She is kind and very patient as I constantly changed Ideas and had several questions. Having a beautiful flower arrangement is one of the focal points and her artistry speaks for itself. She used so many different flowers to really make the arrangements stand out and they were absolutely breathtaking and gorgeous! I am so grateful for Shonda! I thank you from the bottom of my heart! Shanda is a true professional, and understood exactly what I wanted, even though we never met face-to-face. We worked exclusively via email out of convenience, and she was incredibly patient with my scattered wedding brain throughout the process. I had a friend pick up the bouquets from Shanda, but I wish I could have been there to tell her in person how gorgeous they were! I've already had two people contact me (not even wedding guests, mind you, they just loved the photos!) asking me for a florist referral.

Shanda was very responsive during the planning process and was beyond accommodating each time I wanted to add more and more to be original order. I let her know my colors initially and she came up with the perfect arrangements to meet not only my vision but also within my budget. When I saw my bridal bouquet I immediately cried. My photographers kept taking pictures of it, because they had never seen such a unique bouquet, and strangers were stopping to stare while taking photos. In general, she left everyone was in absolute awe of her talents.
Shanda is organized, kind, intelligent, warm, talented, and all around amazing to work with. My vision became her vision but refined and perfected. She went above and beyond to help make sure table arrangements and the flowers flowed well and was helpful and fun to work with. You will not regret choosing Shanda for any of your floral needs! -

I hired her to do 3 different types of centerpieces for my wedding as well as bouquets, and outside pergola decor. Unfortunately it rained but she was quick to create a beautiful backdrop for the altar indoors. The colors and the flowers were exactly what I imagined and she had really good energy. She was as excited as I was about my wedding and I really appreciate that :) . -

Flor de Casa did such a wonderful job with my wedding. I wanted a minimalist red rose and greenery aesthetic. I inquired with 10 local florists, most of whom refused to implement a solely red rose design (I was told it would look like Christmas in June or given other ridiculous reasons). Shanda at Flor de Casa got my vision and implemented it flawlessly. They also worked with me to stay within my budget and made suggestions for cutting costs, another distinguishing feature between this company and nearly every other florist with whom I interacted. Flor de Casa was also flexible with adding/removing decor when we were worried we would need a rain plan.
My only issue was their Honeybook communication system. I think my emails didn’t always go through and it was hard to see to whom I was sending my messages. Still, this made no difference in result since they were very responsive the few weeks before my wedding.
If you have a particular vision for your wedding decor like I did and a budget, I could not recommend this company more!

As soon as I discovered Flor de Casa, there was no going anywhere else! Shanda's talent and passion is so evident in her creations, and she's just a pleasure to work with. Although we only met over video until right before the wedding, it was clear she understood our vision and we felt very comfortable relying on her expertise to fill in the details. We LOVED the results! I appreciate how she stuck to our budget and suggested ways of repurposing flowers throughout the night to maximize the impact while minimizing cost. We were also thrilled to be able to hire Shanda as our month-of coordinator (I believe she offers this service to weddings under a certain size) and she absolutely knocked it out of the park! Even our guests were commenting on how on top of everything she was throughout the day - and she's (deservedly) had a very busy year so that's saying something! She's a true professional and a pleasure to work with for florals and planning. We can't recommend Shanda and her team enough! -
