The Most Beautiful Flowers!

Melody did the florals for my wedding at Mission Ranch, and I couldn't have asked for a better florist. She put together several time-consuming installations, like the greenery on the beams and the chandeliers, as well as the chuppah. She was so easy to work with, and I am so grateful for her patience in responding to all of my email requests (there were quite a few!). From installations to flower selections, she definitely knows what looks best. She has done so many weddings at Mission Ranch, and she definitely knows how to make the already beautiful venue even more stunning. It was so reassuring to work with a florist who already knows the venue extremely well.

Melody is incredibly talented, and I knew I was in good hands with her from the get-go. She is very organized and personable, and helped me work within my budget. One of the biggest highlights of the wedding day for me was the flowers. I love looking back on photos, and am still mesmerized by how beautiful the day was, all because of Melody's work and talent. I am so grateful that Melody was the florist for my wedding. Thank you, Melody, for all that you did to make the day so special!

A wonderful pro of a florist!

We are so glad we booked Fleurish Floral Designs for our wedding at Mission Ranch in Carmel. Melody came recommended by our venue, which was a wonderful comfort. She knew the venue well and was familiar with our wedding cake baker as well, which helped tie together my vision for the florals on our wedding day. Melody brought my exact vision to life and I'll forever be grateful. I had specifically requested a flower that was hard to find in the summer, but she made it happen and the bouquets were even more beautiful than I could've dreamed up! You are in great hands if you book Melody for your wedding!

Melody is so good at what she does. I am so glad that we were lucky enough to have her play such BIG part in creating the look and feel of our wedding. She came highly recommended by our venue (Mission Ranch), and she really does know how to make this already beautiful place look even better.

When we first met, I wasn’t entirely sure what I wanted, and she was very helpful in providing me with options that she knew would suit the setting. As the day got closer, and my ideas got a little clearer, she was wonderful about offering the feedback and suggestions I requested. She really was a huge part of creating the look and feel of the event itself and helped me to make decisions on more than just flowers. I really appreciated that I was able to give her a few favorite flowers and colors (and some to avoid) and then ask that she use her creative license and talent to not only make everything look beautiful, but personalized just for us. I loved everything that she did--and we so did our guests!

She was also great about being transparent and flexible about our budget. She is a true professional, oozing with integrity and talent and also has a fun, down-to-earth nature that kept me relaxed and completely confident during the planning process. I really couldn’t have asked for anything more!

I highly recommend Fleurish for your wedding or event! I first met Melody, the owner, when I worked for an event company in Monterey. I always loved the work she did for the company I worked for and my clients, so when it was my turn to get married, I hired her to do the flowers right away! I sent her some pictures of what I liked, and she sent me a quote very quickly. From booking to the big day, she was very easy to work with. When I saw the bouquets she designed for my bridesmaids and me, I was thrilled. They were exactly what I pictured. She also did boutonnieres for the groom and groomsmen. We went with wreaths with flowers on the guest tables, which turned out perfectly as well. I definitely suggest choosing Fleurish to do your flowers! She always creates unique and creative floral arrangements.

Wow!! Words can’t express my gratitude and appreciation for Melody, and the magic she spun, on my wedding day! I’ve had the opportunity to work with many vendors over the years in my career, and I can honestly say Melody is THE BEST, BAR NONE! She was knowledgeable, patient and so very kind!! From our initial conversation to the day-of support she went above and beyond!

And MY FLOWERS!! I gave Melody full creative freedom to do what she does best and she nailed it!! I asked for bright colored, rustic flowers (I didn’t have any specific flowers I wanted) and she created the most beautiful, bright creations I could have ever imagined!! From my bouquet (unreal) to the boutonnières to the table settings—everything was just perfect!

Melody does breathtaking work, and I'm so thankful she was able to do our flowers for our wedding! She managed to put the vision in my head to work and make it a reality. Melody is an absolute dream to work with! I came in with a very vague idea of what I was wanting for my wedding besides "pretty", and she was able to take my very limited directions and shape them into the floral design I didn't even realize was exactly what I was picturing! She encouraged me to use Pinterest to give her an idea of what I liked, and when we met in person gave me a few "this or that" choices, and then ran with it (with my full encouragement)...and created my dreams come true! She is responsive, warm and absolutely wonderful to work with, especially when you're not great at articulating the idea you have in your head! I also loved that we were able to donate our arrangements to local retirement homes through a program her daughter started. My bouquet was breathtaking, and I would choose her again every time!

Fleurish and Melody King did a beautiful job with our wedding in May. We had ongoing communication for 8 months prior to our big day and she understood our vision and delivered everything we requested and surprised us with even more gorgeousness. We mixed roses and Peruvian lilies and wanted feathers added to the bouquets, center pieces and boutinnaires. Feathers are spiritual and had special meaning to my husband. We thought we wanted bamboo, but she politely informed me horsetail was the plant in the photos of ideas I was sending her. Melody went the extra mile by delivering the preserved Gardenia for my hair early in the morning. She also used the bouquet covers my grandmother croucheted, it was a special touch. We looked at a few vendors and made the right choice with Fleurish.

Melody was great to work with. I had a tight budget and she accommodated a number of requests and made my wedding so beautiful. Melody was amazing! I cannot say enough about how easy she made the entire process! She was available to answer all of my questions, very helpful with suggestions, and of course delivered beautiful flowers on our wedding day. I went back and forth quite a few times, but Melody was very patient with me and was simply amazing to work with! I got compliments on all of our flowers, our aisle decor, and the chair we decorated for my husband's late mother. If we lived in California, I am sure I would work with Melody again! Melody King is an artist! We had a few basic ideas of what we wanted for our wedding, but were really seeking input and guidance, especially since my husband has an allergy to most flowers...Melody had incredible ideas for us! She's very creative and a complete pro at what she does. Her input and artistic flair helped make our dream wedding a reality. We had three different centerpieces that we alternated throughout the tables, and our guests were overjoyed that they could take succulents home with them to plant and help them look back on the day. Our family and friends love to give us updates on how the plants are thriving! Melody was easy to work with, down-to-earth, trustworthy, and nailed our vision! I highly recommend her!

Melody King of Fleurish Floral Design did a great job of decorating the gazebo at Highland's Inn and making the corsages and boutonnieres. She was a wonderful communicator, and she did a fabulous job of capturing the ideas, the mood we had in mind when in decorating the gazebo. It was soft, sophisticated, and adorned with absolutely beautiful floral arrangements on the front "legs". She was so helpful and accommodating. All of her flowers were just as my daughter and I had hoped. A lovely lady with a great deal of creative talent! Would recommend her highly!

The flowers were incredibly beautiful! The colors were gorgeous - complemented my wisteria-colored dress perfectly - and we especially loved Melody's French vases. Melody was able to create exactly the look we dreamed of.

Melody is awesome! My husband and I got married at The Perry House in Monterey, CA. I initially went on Melody's website and loved her floral arrangements. I thought I would take a chance and work with her and I am SO glad I did. We were on a somewhat tight budget and she totally worked with me. I emailed her so many times with questions, comments, changes etc and she was so nice to respond timely (even when she was traveling!). I asked her to put a photo of my grandma on my wedding bouquet and she did an amazing job. It made my mom cry. Melody is a true artist. I sent her a few pictures of what I wanted and she totally nailed it. The centerpieces and the wedding party flowers were stunning. You won't go wrong using Melody!!! Very flexible with budgets. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to do what I wanted to do in my budget (floral crowns, decor for tables, decor for arbor, bridesmaid bouquets etc) but she was very willing to adapt to my budget and still product quality products. She also offers rental items like mason jars and hurricanes that are way easier to use than buying!

We had a small, intimate beach wedding in Big Sur a couple weeks ago and we chose Fleurish to do our flowers, which consisted of only a bridal bouquet and boutonniere. Apparently, it can be a bit difficult to find vendors that will deal with such a small order within a reasonable price range - but thank goodness for Melody! The prices are fair and her artistry is amazing! I emailed her two Pinterest photos with a couple instructions (no hydrangeas, I like succulents and that green/grayish color) and let her use her judgment on how it should look. She came through with a bouquet that was better than the Pinterest ones! It was perfect and I got so many compliments on it!

Melody did an amazing job at our wedding on 8/4/13 at the Perry House in Monterey. All of our planning was done via email, and she was always prompt in communicating with us. Obviously we had many questions about the flower options, and she was not only flexible and accommodating, but also generous with her time.

Melody King of Fleurish Floral Designs is more than a fantastically talented florist -- she is a wonderful person and it was an honor to work with her for our March wedding in Pebble Beach and Carmel.

Melody came highly recommended from our wedding coordinator at Mission Ranch, Carmel and I never had any reservations as her beautiful work online spoke for itself. We met for the first time a few months before the wedding and I showed her the color palette of our save the date, invitations, fabrics from my dress, etc. She carefully considered our venues -- The Church in the Forest and Mission Ranch, Carmel -- and made extremely thoughtful suggestions for arrangements, centerpieces, bouquets and so on.

The day of our wedding could not have been more beautiful. Melody worked closely with our coordinator at Mission Ranch, Carmel and perfectly balanced deliveries/set at the church as well as deliveries/set up at the venue. I was, quite simply, blown away with not just the overall look of our venues, but how incredible each detail was thought out and perfected by Melody.

I would highly, highly recommend working with Melody. It was an absolute pleasure and delight to work with her -- our wedding could not have been more beautiful! Thank you Melody for all of your hard work. You are so appreciated!

Melody did a fantastic job on my wedding at the Perry House on July 13, 2013. The flowers were perfect. Everyone at the wedding said they were eye catching and fit in with the venue and décor perfectly. Melody was very accommodating working with us as we had booked her services over a year in advance and had some changes as time got closer. She was always very quick to respond to our emails and phone calls. She met us at the venue, listened to my desires and understood my vision. She added personalized touches that we provided her to the grooms boutonnière, my bouquet, and the maid of honors bouquet. She even was kind enough to hang up some lanterns for us that my Mom made. Our wedding day was a like a fairytale and the flowers made the day complete.

You most work with Melody! She is a true artist that loves what she does. I just loved working with her. She was honest about the "look" and flowers that would work in my budget. When I showed her pinetrest ideas and pictures she did not want me disappointed and I was NOT! I loved her creativity and was willing to do a little extra work so I could have everything I wanted but stay in budget. For example she moved the ceremony decorations to the reception venue, a lot of things had dual purpose. Melody she was willing to order Peonies from Norway for my bridal bouquet. She is extremely knowledgeable and can see your vision. She listens to you! She is very timely. She is a true professional and artist. She created masterpieces for my tables. We had 13 tables at the Monterey Bay Aquarium for our son's Rehearsal Dinner. Melody King of Fleurish Floral Design in Carmel created the centerpieces. We never met before the event but had several phone conversations and e-mails back and forth. She went to the linen store we used so she could see the exact color of the tablecloths before we decided on the flowers. Melody's centerpieces were works of art. Our backdrop was the Open Sea Exhibit which covered one entire wall. We had three pillar floating candles per centerpiece with the most exquisite blend of flowers: blue and white hydrangeas, orange roses, red berries, lime green moss balls and greens. Absolutely fabulous. The compliments were flying. I highly recommend Melody.

Melody did an absolutely gorgeous job on our wedding day at the Perry House! I would definitely reccommend her to anyone in the Monterey area. She does much more than just floral as well. She helped us out with a few other decorations like pillars and they were much less than may rental companies in the area.

Melody King the owner of fleurish is AMAZING! I got married on Saturday 8/11 and she made me the most beautiful bouquets and boutineers for my wedding! She worked with me on getting the flowers I wanted and within my budget. My Fiance and I had a very small budget for flowers as we paid for our entire wedding ourselves ($250 budget), we really wanted Green Orchids as part of our flowers but most places we called were quoting us way out of our budget (theses are fairly pricy as apparently they are winter flowers so getting them in summer is more of a challenge) Melody was able to stay in my budget and get me the most beautiful orchids! She is quick with email response and had the delivery guy there prompt and on time! My flowers looked amazing I couldnt be more happy! THANK YOU MELODY and FLEURISH FLORAL DESIGN!!!! If your getting married in the Monterey/Carmel area go to Fleurish they are the best!!!

Melody King and Fleurish Floral Designs were the icing on the wedding cake literally! Every detail was perfect! She took my husband’s ideas and mine and blended them amazingly. Fleurish Floral Designs did an absolutely amazing job with the flowers for our wedding. We met up once to discuss colors and design; I had a few ideas in mind for colors and two kinds of flowers I was hoping to include, but pretty much my only other instruction was "make them look pretty." :)

Well, Fleurish delivered on that, and then some! The bouquets, flower arrangements, corsages, and boutonnieres were all stunning and complimented each other wonderfully. Even when we had a last minute rain forecast come in, Fleurish was very flexible in adapting our original design plan to accomodate the backup in-door setting for the ceremony.

Melody created all of the decorations for our wedding. They were perfect in every way. I gave Melody only vague ideas of what I wanted and she created the most beautiful arrangements I have ever seen. She even took the arch from her garden, decorated it on site and we were married beneath it. How lovely is that! One person commented on how the gardeners must have worked so hard to have the vines and flowers grow the way they did on the arch!
Melody made a beautiful birds nest filled with flowers for our rings and a crown for my niece to wear. She looked like a fairy princess.
I adore Melody. She has a wonderful personality, is easy to work with and communicate with. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience...just meet her. You will not be disappointed!

Melody did an amazing job with my wedding flowers. We never talked on the phone, but she was very responsive on email. I had changed my mind several times during the planning process with color, flower choices and pieces, but Melody was very helpful throughout the entire process. She was very helpful finding centerpieces for the wedding, but we ended up doing them ourselves. She would email me and check in with me which I found very nice. I had a strict flower budget and she kept to it very closely.
I would recommend her service to any bride in the area.

I was one of those brides that was going to use DIY flowers to try and save money. On a whim, I called Melody at Fleurish just to get a quote, and it was one of the best wedding decisions I made! Melody's arrangements are not only budget-friendly, but they are absolutely BEAUTIFUL. She is extremely friendly and super professional. She has wonderfully innovative ideas and helped to not only make my flower dreams come true, she provided creative ideas to go above and beyond anything I could have imagined. Melody is amazing!! I went to her 9 months ago with a vision of what I wanted for my wedding and she executed it perfectly. Melody and her assistants made my dream of a formal garden wedding come true. I chose a bouquet of ivory roses and let her choose complimentary, in season flowers for everything else. Allowing her free reign of the floral design eliminated a lot of stress and I couldn't have been more pleased with the results.
In the planning stages of my wedding, there were so many vendors that were not responsive and some that were major disappointments. This will not be a problem with Melody King. She is available by phone and email. She is as excited about your wedding as you are. She even helped with the logistics of our destination wedding.
Her prices were what I expected and she will work with any budget.
My guests were overwhelmed by Melody's creations and everyone had flowers to take home. One of the large pieces traveled to Arizona!
For your floral vendor, I most highly recommend Fleurish.

Melody of Fleurish Floral Designs did an exceptional job of providing flowers for my wedding. I only needed her to design my own personal bouquet and provide me with some loose flowers (for me to arrange in vases for my tiny reception) - a very small order for her - but she treated me as if I was spending thousands of dollars on the blowout event of the year! I was planning my wedding from Fresno - to be held in Pebble Beach - therefore Melody and I were communicating long-distance about my specific floral requests. She educated me about the kinds of flowers that would be available at the time of year I was getting married (July) and gave me helpful suggestions about what would work best for me. To say that I was pleased with the final result would be a huge understatement! My bouquet was so original and gorgeous that I wanted to preserve it forever. Melody was extremely professional and the quality of flowers she used in my bouquet were exceptional. I can't emphasize enough how pleased I was to work with Melody. I had the worst luck finding a florist in the Monterey area. No one returned phone calls or emails! I even tried a florist in the Central Valley who said he would travel but his workmanship was horrible at my engagement party so I fired him! I finally found Melody here on Wedding Wire and was more than pleased! I had some very specific ideas in mind and she was able to work with me to give me excatly what I wanted! Everything she did from the centerpieces, to the bouquets, to the decorations, was perfect! I planned my wedding from Texas and just sent photos of what I wanted and Melody came through on everything! Not only was she very professional but she was just a very nice person who was incredibly easy to work with! I would recommend her to every bride in the Monterey Valley! She was amazing!

Melody was professional, easy to work with and when it came to the day of the wedding, stopped at no cost to make sure everything was perfect! The cost was not only reasonable, but right in line with our small budget, and still it was a spectacular outcome. The tulips we requested were hard to find, she not only found beautiful white tulips, but they were local and lasted for days beyond. The bride had a specific design and set up in mind, she not only made that happen beautifully, but Melody was right on top of it every minute, even hunting down family members to put on corsages and boutonnieres!

Working with Melody was an absolute delight! Because of distance issues, we primarily corresponded via email. You would think that would have had an impact on the quality of service but it didn't! I gave Melody general ideas of what I loved during our first meeting. From there, I emailed her what I wanted... flowers, colors, ideas for centerpieces, etc. I would email her photos of ideas I liked and we were always on the same page. I have to say I was a little nervous to see how everything turned out because of our limited face to face interaction, but I was blown away at how she totally hit the mark on what I wanted! The bouquets were gorgeous and exactly what I had envisioned! All of the arrangements were amazing and I was so happy and pleased with everything! We also had a limited budget and not only did she work within our budget, but she went above and beyond to make sure everything was still going to look amazing. I was very pleased with the flowers that Melody provided for our wedding, and particularly impressed by the arrangements that she created with little direction from us. Melody was also quite responsive to questions and concerns I had, like staying within our budget and how to manage a white bouquet with an ivory dress (my bouquet turned out great, just like she said). Melody was the florist for my wedding. When I was researching florists she had - by far - the best prices of all the florists I researched (she came highly recommended by our wedding site). She was incredibly personable, helpful and quick to respond to all of my emails. When we met for the first time to go over ideas for our floral arrangements, the first thing I noticed was that she was very organized. She had many examples to show me of previous work - and she was so supportive and helpful when it came to listening to my ideas and wishes for the look of the wedding. She was also incredibly helpful when I was indecisive - suggesting flowers that fit well with my color scheme and offering up her own suggestions from her vast experience. She treated me like I would imagine she would treat a close friend or a relative - she was straight with me in terms of pricing - helping me save money wherever I could. Leading up to the wedding she would answer my emails immediately with answers to all my questions - I never had any problems reaching her, and she was always incredibly courteous and helpful in regard to all my wishes. On the day of the wedding I only saw her for the brief seconds that I was in the ceremony area prior to the ceremony and when she dropped off the flowers for my hair earlier in the day. But when I walked down the aisle the first thing I saw (after my incredibly handsome and dapper looking husband) was the beautiful ceremony space that she created - everything from the gazebo to the flowers on each chair was absolutely perfect - even better then I had planned for and imagined. When I walked into the reception room I was equally impressed - the centerpieces (which were very intricately assembled glass bowls filled with water, with orchids floating on the water and LED lights illuminating the bowl with the table cards propped up in the center), bouquet, flowers to decorate the tables, and flowers reused from the ceremony space to decorate the curtains - everything was done to perfection. I could not have been happier with Melody - she is an amazing florist and a wonderful person to work with. I give her the highest recommendation for anyone planning a wedding or any other event.

Melody was very flexible on our budget. Melody strives to make everything work, and is very punctual. We also needed to make last minute changes 3-4 days before our wedding, and was very helpful with recommending what needed to be done. She's a gifted person, her work and efforts made our fairy tale wedding of our dreams come true. I would recommend Melody to any person that might need floral needs. Melody has alot of patience, and she surpassed our floral expectations on our wedding day 07/17/10.............
The altar/and ambo arrangenment she made was Beautiful, it was one our last minute add ons. We chose the Martini Glass and, glass cylinder centerpiece's with floating candle's, they were both very elegant and romantic.

Bottom line, up front: Melody was absolutely fantastic!

After doing some research online and word of mouth, I came across Melody. She was not only responsive to every email I ever sent, but she was extremely helpful with staying within my budget, giving me great flower advice and making not 1, but 2 deliveries to my reception site. I gave Melody a few photos, basic colors (i.e. white bouquet) and the freedom to make the bouquets and centerpieces as she saw fit. When I came downstairs to see everything... I was blown away. Everything was perfect and our centerpieces (various potted orchid plants) were stunning. Simple, elegant and everyone wanted to take 2 or 3 home at the end of the night. People were literally bartering to get the orchid plant they wanted! I highly recommend her services if you're getting married in the Monterey/Carmel area. Thank you Melody!

Melody is wonderful to work with- her pricing is reasonable (she'll work within your budget, will never try to get you to pay for more, & will make suggestions to help you get the most bang for your buck). Her designs are amazing- once you inquire about her services, she'll send you a link to a very extensive gallery of photos so you can view her previous work.

She's very friendly and knowledgeable and was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We wanted simple & elegant (Black Magic Roses everywhere!), and that's what we got. Melody didn't even mind hanging & putting away the crystal & flower garlands I made for the gazebo.

Our entire wedding (a destination event for about 40 guests) was planned over the course of only two months, so many of the details were still being decided during the final week or two before the wedding. Another florist might have been intimidated by this task or frustrated by our timeline, but Fleurish was patient, responsive, budget-minded, and offered many wonderful recommendations. From my first interaction with Melody through the day of my wedding, she was courteous and helpful, and offered very personalized service.

I loved all of the flowers for the wedding, and got a ton of compliments on the arrangements. The bouquets, centerpieces, gazebo sprays, etc. were all exactly what I wanted, and they looked fresh and perfect for the ceremony and reception. The people that complimented me on the flowers couldn't believe that I had never met anyone at Fleurish, and had only communicated a few times by phone and e-mail prior to the day of the wedding.

Melody was able to take our basic ideas and gently offer suggestions to make them beautiful. She worked to find the color of hydrangea that Kelly wanted even though it was early in the season and still cool and rainy in northern California.

The wedding party bouquets were gorgeous, and inspired a whole series of photographs! The large ceremony bouquets were a beautiful mixture of purples and ivory and they looked stunning with the blue water of the Bay in the background. The table centerpieces were full and beautiful - exactly as we had imagined!

Melody was totally easy to work with from beginning to end. She answered questions promptly, understood our budget and never pushed us to spend more (instead offering suggestions of options to stay within it!), and delivered beautiful flowers on time and as ordered. Thank you Melody!!!

Melody did an amazing job for our wedding ceremony and reception at the Highlands Inn in Carmel. She listened to what I envisoned for my day but also provided some great ideas and feedback. We were so pleased by how romantic and wistful everything was. She created the perfect ambiance for our special day.

Fleurish's services were excellent, ordering, setup, delivery etc.... The flowers were so fresh and beautiful, that the next day they were still fresh and looking perfect after having no water for 24 hours! The Fleurish web site is so helpful, she has so many ceremony flower & boquet ideas. Dealing with Fleurish was the easiest part of planning my wedding. Thank you Fleurish!

Melody did some amazing flowers for my wedding. She was great to work with, very affordable, and amazing. She kept within our budget and came up with ideas on how to transfer ceremony flowers to the reception to get the most use out of them (and keep costs down). My husband and I went over some ideas of what we liked, but then we trusted her to put together what she thought was best given what the quality of flowers was at the flower market on the week of our wedding. She didn't disappoint! I would hire Melody a million times over. She will do an amazing job with your flowers. Hire her and let her run with your ideas.

My centerpieces were absolutely the most beautiful things and so was every flower that Fleurish did for my wedding. I am still hearing compliments on them. My boquet was exactly what I wanted and more. I would highly recommend Fleurish for all of your floral needs. I just can't say enough about how perfect everything was. Melody was such a pleasure to work with and was so organized. She made sure everything was taken care of so I didn't have to stress at all on my big day! If you are looking for a florist, especially if you are a bride Fleurish should be your choice!

Melody was absolutely incredible to work with! We had very specific flower needs as we chose flowers to represent the people who were not able to be with us (grandparents that had passed on, etc.) on our special day. She took the flowers that we chose, along with our fall theme, and made stunning arrangements for the gazebo as well as the bouquets and other personal flowers. She took the time to care, to get to know us as a couple, and was lightening quick with her communication with us via email. Very professional and timely the day of our event. Everyone commented on the beautiful arrangements, and I have photos posted online and people are still commenting on how lovely they were. I cannot recommend anyone more highly.

Melody was so wonderful to work with. I needed lots of guidance and I changed my mind so many times but she was always so very patient with me! She helped me figure out what looked best and yet stay within my budget. I loved and welcomed all her suggestions. She knew the look I was going for and she did her best to make it my reality. Fleurish did an amazing job at our wedding. Melody did a great job of finding EXACTLY the flower types and colors that we wanted, and did a fantastic job of bringing them together into gorgeous arrangements! Melody King was always on top of things, showed up on time and decorated our wedding quickly and beautifully. She is also very responsive and not afraid of new ideas and very accomandating to our wishes. Can't say enough about the amazing job she had done for us. My daughter had a very specific dream about her wedding day. It was planned around rustic candlelabras and standard calas. Melody made her dream a total reality and presented a huge WOW factor at the reception for all our guests. It has been a few months since the wedding and guests are still stopping and commenting on the awesome table arrangements and beautiful bouquets.

AMAZING!! Too many flower vendors in the area were not flexible with their own budget and did not realize we did not have all the money in the world. But Fleurish was happy to work within our budget and help us make the wedding of our dreams. The flowers were gorgeous and everyone raved about how beautiful it all was. After talking with several vendors in the area, we were thrilled to have worked with Fleurish. Our flowers exceeded our expectations. We experienced a personal and professional approach to our wedding. We felt important and focused on, and that our vision was understood. Specifically, we wanted a garland over the wedding gazebo, and while we knew it would be beautiful, when we actually saw it, it knocked our socks off. Also, we discussed the centerpieces and while I was confident they would be terrific, they were more than that. So stylish and beautiful. We loved them. Finally, my bouquet was going to be challenging, I needed something easy to hold yet "drapes" and while I expected something lovely, I was absolutely thrilled with the end result. You can't go wrong with Fleurish.

Melody at Fleurish was amazing! I gave her a few pictures for inspiration and she took the idea and ran with it. I was a little unsure up to the wedding if she would pull off the look that I wanted but on the day of the wedding, I could not have been happier. The flowers were even better than I had imagined. My only regret was that I didn't preserve my bouquet so I could continue to enjoy it!

Melody was great to work with. She was the preferred vendor for our wedding venue but we wouldn't have gone with another vendor because she had so many great reviews in the area. Our venue package included center pieces and gazebo arrangement but because we weren't using the gazebo she was totally willing to adapt the florals to our setup instead. We added on bouquets and boutonnieres and her prices weren't too bad for those. She was very friendly and helpful and she is extremely knowledgeable about what florals are available where and when to make sure you get something pretty and low cost. There were no problems with our order and all the florals turned out beautiful. We couldn't have been happier!

I had the pleasure of working with Melody King for my wedding at La Playa Hotel in Carmel last month. From the first time I met with her, I was extremely impressed by her professionalism, experience and reasonable prices. She was very honest with me when I asked her questions about prices and floral arrangement ideas. At one point I asked her for a certain flower I wanted for the bridesmaid bouquets and she looked for those flowers and when she found out they were out of season, she suggested some similar ones. She was also very flexible and always responded right away to my emails. I was extremely pleased with the end result.

We were so happy with Fleurish, they were professional and able to give us absolutely beautiful decor that fit into our small budget! We did not give her much to work with, and I, not being a huge flower person, didn't really know much about what to ask and what I needed, but after telling her our wedding colors and what we had in mind, she was able to come up with the perfect option for our wedding. And she was able to add small touches a couple weeks before without any problems. And the best part is that they came and set everything up and took everything down after the reception, so that I or my maid of honor didn't have to lift a finger! I would definitely recommend Fleurish to any bride who is looking to her florist for beautiful decor and an easy wedding day!

I chose Melody King as my florist for my wedding at the perry house in Monterey. She did a wonderful job with creating what I had envisioned. This really was quite impressive since all of our communication was done only 1 month prior to our wedding during peak wedding season and via email. My bouquets were all beautifully crafted and fresh the day of the wedding. She made these beautiful garlands consisting of stringed flowers and crystals to decorate the arbor at the perry house, which served as the backdrop for our ceremony and sweetheart table. All of the flowers in our wedding, from the bouquets, boutonnieres, garlands, isle flowers, and centerpiece flowers all matched beautifully. On top of that, she helped us to stick to our budget. She was really easy to work with and did an amazing job for our wedding.

Run. RUN. To get Melody King and her team to do your wedding.

I must confess. At first, I didn't really consider myself a flower person. I didn't realize how integral they would become to carrying out the vision for my wedding. And Melody was the person I trusted to execute that vision, and she exceeded my every expectation.

I was planning my wedding from Washington, D.C., with periodic visits to CA. Melody made room in her schedule to meet with me at her home when I gave her last minute notice that I was in town. I knew I wanted red flowers, mentioned roses and calla lillies, and said the rest was up to her. I wanted simple, but elegant. I had a glam wedding, black tie, and I wanted my flowers to be richly textured and beautiful without being overpowering.

Melody welcomed me sending pictures for inspiration, which I was happy to do. She sometimes took a few days to respond, but that's my only complaint. She not only did my flowers, she also draped white chiffon around the outside gazebo/ wedding ceremony structure to give it an amazingly simple, powerful, elegant flair.

Two weeks before my wedding, I asked her to switch my bouquet color to white flowers. She not only took it in stride, but created the most beautiful mix of elegantly cascading flowers I've ever seen. And I'm not a flowers person. And THIS. was. Spectacular.

Have no doubt. This is the person you want for your wedding. She's prepared. She's amazing. She's on time. You will thank your lucky stars, as I did.

Melody was one of the most responsive florists by email, and she seemed to "get" my somewhat scattered vision and morph it into reality. This is what sold me on her service initially. We emailed often, and spoke over the phone twice, all of which went well. I gave her a few challenges (for ex, I was set on having a bougainvillea chuppah, and also there was also a big metal hoop at the venue that I asked her to decorate in a very open-ended way, to name a few), and she delivered really beautiful products. We also had her do the rehearsal dinner , and she was responsive to our request to repurpose several things in order to save some $. Her prices were for the most part cheaper than comparable florists in the area.
The only negative feedback I have for Melody was that she was at times a bit rude. This did not come out until very close to the wedding date itself. We had a miscommunication by email about costs (she had said she would check with me before purchasing a big item to make sure it was ok, but didn't)...which would have been okay, except her response to me asking about it was very off-putting and rude! On the wedding day I never actually saw her, but the members of the wedding party who did see her said she seemed very stressed out, was ranting and raving about the FOUR events she was doing that day. My sister-in-law made our wedding cake and Melody was to bring a few extra flowers to decorate the cake with. When my S-I-L went to find Melody and ask her for the flowers, she says was basically told to buzz off, that she didn't have time for that right now. It ended up working out, the cake got decorated, but I was not happy hearing how she was treating people in the meantime.
That said, it seemed like a very stressful weekend for her (again, perhaps she was overcommitted that day), so this may have been a fluke which is why I'd still give her a high rating. The flowers and decor themselves were amazing, & she knocked it out of the park with the chuppah!

Melody was very nice, but I didn't get exactly what I was expecting. I asked for specific flowers and did not get them. I think I got one of the four flower types that I asked for.
