Stunning and Creative!

Margaux was so amazing to work with to design our florals for our wedding! She’s creative, totally listens to and understands your vision, professional and easy to work with. We rented a lot of Margaux’s vases and candles so it made décor super easy. All of the florals were stunning, but my favorite was the arch she created for our ceremony – it was absolutely breathtaking! I was so happy she was able to transport our arch from the ceremony location to the reception to put behind our sweetheart table (about a 15 minute drive). For my bouquet, she came up with the idea of wrapping a piece of my wedding dress around the stems and wrapping the bridesmaids bouquets in black to match their dresses.
I asked her to stick within a budget and she was able to do so (I ended up choosing to go a bit over budget). Margaux repurposed the bridesmaids bouquets as centerpieces at the reception. Other florists I reached out to would only work with me at a minimum greater than I was willing to spend. Thank you, Margaux!

I wish I had more words to describe Margaux, owner and designer of Fleur de Lis; She was/is AMAZING to work with and a true design partner. She executed my vision FLAWLESSLY and even found ways to surprise me. I trusted her COMPLETELY and the day would not have been the same without her and her team.

Wonderful!

Margaux did a spectacular job! Even though my husband and I had no strong ideas about flowers, color schemes, etc., Margaux managed to come up with beautiful designs that reflected our vision (however inarticulate we were about what that was!) for our May 2019 wedding.

Working with Margaux was so easy and enjoyable. She was always responsive to messages and went above and beyond in helping put all the details of the day together, no matter how tangentially-floral related. That we were also able rely on her for the chuppah, non-floral table decorations, table number frames, baskets, and place-card display made things so much easier and also helped maintain a cohesive look.

Margaux's prices are more than fair and her familiarity with the layout and operating procedures of so many venues in the area (including ours) make her an invaluable resource. We are very grateful for all the guidance she provided throughout the planning process and could not have been happier with her beautiful and thoughtful work.

Beautiful work

Margaux was fantastic and the flowers were everything we imagined. We wanted a mix of designs, and she delivered in every way possible. Everyone complimented how beautiful our flowers were. She also helped with the overall design of the day, such as hanging our seating chart and chair signs, and decorating our ceremony setting. We couldn't have asked for a better florist for our day. Thank you for making it so much more beautiful then we could have imagined!

Top notch quality and creativity!

Margaux was super easy to work with and really created beautiful bouquets with not much to work with as far as input on my end. I was pretty open and showed a few pictures of ideas but she put together something I could have never dreamed of. The quality was amazing and lasted almost a week after the wedding in vases. But perhaps the best part was the incorporation of Star Wars lego characters into all the men's boutonnieres. It was a surprise for my husband and groomsmen and she did a fabulous job putting it together. Those were a hit with everyone! Thank you for everything!

Margaux is a miracle worker. End of story.

I hired Margaux for my late December wedding after she came highly recommended from my wedding venue (S/O to Brandywine Manor House!). I sent Margaux a bunch of Pinterest-type inspirations to the vision I had for my wedding day, and she took my vision and 100% made it come to life!! I honestly know next to nothing about flowers, and I was worried that I wasn't adequately expressing the image that I had in mind. However, whether or not I adequately conveyed MYSELF, Margaux CERTAINLY saw what I wanted and completely blew me away with her work. My table arrangements were STUNNING and the bouquets (from myself and my bridesmaids) were so elegant and really embodied what I wanted for my wedding day. Margaux was responsive, sweet and helpful through email and it was such a treat to meet her in person at my wedding!

Margaux is such a talented florist, and her works speaks to her talent and love for what she does. If you are a bride in the area, look no further!! She's the absolute best choice for your wedding florist!

There aren't words to express what an amazing job Margaux did making my wedding more gorgeous than I could have imagined. I had a specific and non-traditional vision for our wedding, and Margaux understood my concept immediately. I wanted oversized palm leaves and tropical flowers - tons of green with small dashes of pink and copper accents. Margaux listened, understood, and, along with Ilonka Comstock, executed our vision to perfection. The centerpieces were stunning (giant palm leaves with pink ginger flowers), the table decor was magical (geometric copper terrariums with moss and fairy lights, succulents at each place setting), the bouquets and boutineers were unique and exquisite, lit florals lining the ceremony aisle were beautiful...I could go on and on, because Fleur de Lis didn't simply do flowers, they created the entire aesthetic of the event from top to bottom, from the escort card table to linens to bathroom decor. They even brought in the chairs (ghost chairs, for a more modern look than the venue could provide). They also made our chuppah, which was breathtaking - sparse and modern with lit copper strands hanging down. We were really concerned about lighting because our ceremony was in a planetarium and we didn't want the chuppah casting a shadow on the dome, so Margaux brought in a special lighting team and they got everything PERFECT. Thanks to her and her team, our photos are amazing. Their creativity and artistry turned a special night into a spectacular one, and I could not be more grateful.

We were blown away by the florals designed by Margaux for our wedding. After one phone call and a couple emails, she brought our vision to life for everything from the Chuppah to the boutonnieres. Her talent and passion is evident in the artistry of the arrangements. Her professionalism and level of dedication to creating the perfect florals for our wedding is unparalleled to any of the other vendors we had previously contacted. We did not want typical wedding flowers or colors and she was able to create awe-inspiring arrangements all within budget. If you are looking for exceptional florals from an outstanding floral designer, Margaux is the answer.

Meet in person. The owner is very friendly and open to your ideas.
She never tried to persuade us to do anything we didn't want.

Margaux is a flower goddess. I had a HUGE vision and HUGE expectations for how I wanted our big day to look. Margaux not only rose to the challenge of making my vision a reality, but went above and beyond to completely capture my very-involved, very-detail-driven "midsummer night's dream theme"! It truly was a dream come true. When you hire Marguax (which if you have any sense at all, you will. ;) she will not only be your florist, but her team will capture your vision with an unmatched level of skill, efficiency, professionalism, and a genius creative eye that puts all the things you've been pining after on pinterest to shame. My advice to any couple looking for a florist would be to STOP LOOKING and call Margaux St. Ledger of Fleur De Lis Floral, NOW!! You can look the world over and will never find a florist more talented, artistically creative, professional, accommodating, inspiring, intuitive, dedicated and caring...all the while, being considerate of your budget. After working with Margaux on multiple occasions, including both of my daughters' weddings, I have found that the key to an outstanding wedding, or event, one that far surpasses the vision of your dreams, is to surround yourself with a Dream Team of professionals who do the work they do with passion and love. My daughter's, each, had a different vision for their wedding. The first, a very Royal Wedding at an elegant estate, and the second, a fairy-tale Mid-Summer Night's Dream vision at a very eclectic venue in the heart of our city. With the very first visit for both daughter's, Margaux immediately grasped their vision, and on the day of both weddings, exceeded our expectations beyond our wildest dreams with her stunning floral designs. Margaux St. Ledger's talent, and that of her personal Dream Team at Fleur De Lis Floral, is unequaled, except by the love with which she shares it! Margaux did an absolutely perfect job with our wedding flowers. The floral design was very important to me and I definitely had a strong vision for what I wanted. Margaux was able to not only bring that vision to life but to actually exceed my expectations in every way. Every detail of every piece from the centerpieces to the corsages and bouquets was exceptional. I still had guests telling me how beautiful the flowers were well after the wedding had passed. I really appreciated that she took the time to listen to all of my ideas and make sure that I got exactly what I was hoping for. Anyone who is looking for elegant, beautiful flower arrangements with tons of details and thought put into them should absolutely work with Margaux!

Margaux is fabulous! Everything was stunning, I am not great with florals and she was able to pull it together for me in the most amazing way. All of my pieces were gorgeous and she created the most beautiful floral monogram for our reception. You will be so happy with Margaux and her work!

Margaux and Fleur de Lis Floral are just AMAZING! We never even spoke with a second florist after meeting Margaux. She looked at my Pinterest inspiration page and immediately took it beyond what I could have expected! She took my color scheme and suggested flowers I had never even heard of. When her initial estimate was out of our budget, she worked with us to slightly adjust things to bring it closer to what we had wanted to spend. As other reviews have said, she goes out of her way to meet you at your venue so she gets an idea of what it's like, and changes her ideas on the flowers. She also gave us the perfect way to display our escort cards, which was not part of her job description! I highly recommend Fleur de List Floral - just spend some time with Margaux, and you won't want to look anywhere else!

Margaux is a consummate professional and committed to delivering an amazing product and service. I LOVED every bit of my flower arrangements - the colors were perfect and it made my wedding the exact rustic elegant setting I was looking for. The best part about Fleur De Lis is Margaux. Professional and kind, I knew instantly she was a true artist and that's exactly what we were looking for. We wanted a very specific style. Our venue was historic yet we wanted a dash of "boho couture" in the mix opposed to an all rustic theme.

Margaux and I met at our venue prior to our wedding to go over design. After explaining our vision to Margaux, I knew it was going to be perfection. Her ideas were unique and exactly what I was envisioning. All I did was send her a few photos and let her work her magic.

The day of our wedding Margaux's team was so sweet! They were efficient and made sure we were pleased with everything before their departure.

If you are looking for a professional florist that is unique with impeccable taste and beautiful design ideas, look no further than Fleur De Lis!

Just look no further for a florist than Fleur de Lis Floral. Margaux is FANTASTIC - one of our favorite people to work with for our whole wedding. When we were first meeting, she picked me up at the train station and took me to her office since I didn't have a ride. She was beyond easy to work with and had fabulous, creative ideas for all of our personal flowers and the ones in the ceremony, cocktails and reception room. She came to meet us at the venue to check it out, and offered so many suggestions even beyond flowers (linens, chargers, etc.). She just went way above and beyond and was such a true pleasure to work with, especially since I didn't know anything about flowers and get overwhelmed easily. We were literally blown away by everything the day of - my jaw dropped when I started walking down the aisle and I wished I could've stopped and stared and what she'd done. Same thing for our escort card table and our centerpieces - beyond beautiful. She turned the room into an enchanted florist. Friends have sent me so many pictures of the centerpieces and escort card table because they too thought they were so amazing. And Margaux came and picked up the flowers that night and brought them to our brunch restaurant the next morning - just above and beyond. She was also such a great value compared to other quotes we had gotten and came highly recommended from a friend, so it's not just me. Seriously, do yourself a favor and go with Margaux - I promise you definitely will not regret it and her work will be a huge highlight of your day!!!

Margaux did a fantastic job for our engagement party. We had a smaller number of guests and wanted to fill a large tent. Margaux had some great suggestions for how to fill the room, and it turned out great. Our guests still talk about how beautiful the floral arrangements were. We would highly recommend Fleur de Lis!

Fleur De Lis made my wedding day a living fairytale. Margaux St. Ledger brought my vision to life. She truly listened to my every request, and using her creative mind and experience, worked with me to make Carinwood Estate look above and beyond gorgeous. The detail and breathtaking decorations from the banister garland, to the center pieces, to the bouquets were not only unique and exquisite; but they made the venue personal. I can honestly say that choosing Fleur De Lis was one of the best decisions I made in the wedding planning process, and I cannot imagine my special day without the help of Margaux and her team. Simply put, the bouquets and flower arrangements Margaux created for our wedding day were heavenly.....no other word could describe them better! In fact, my guests are still talking about how beautiful my flowers were, and when I close my eyes and picture my wedding day (almost two months later) they are the first image to pop into my mind.

Margaux is an extremely friendly, professional, and intuitive artist/florist. Within minutes of our consultation (and before I could even fully describe my desire for a "vintage garden party" theme), Margaux knew exactly what I was thinking and laid out the most beautiful floral plan....almost as if she had psychic abilities! She truly is the best, and I would recommend her without any hesitation! I promise it'll be the best decision you make!

I can't even begin to describe how beautiful and perfect my flowers were. Margaux did an amazing job. I showed her a few pictures of what I had in mind, and what she produced was beyond my expectations. Every detail was gorgeous, from the altar flowers, to the cocktail table arrangements, and of course the bouquets. Also, she has an awesome alternative to the traditional/outdated typical wrist corsage. I can't say enough great things.

Our flowers were just spectactular, every detail was taken into consideration. The guest commited as soon as they walked into the venue and said how lovely the flower arrangments were. My daughter and her bridesmaids were in love with their arrangements as well. This is the only vendor to go for your wedding and all your flowers, it is the best in town!!!

Choosing Fleur De Lis as my florist was one of the best wedding decisions I made. I met with multiple florists, but I was blown away by Margaux's creativity and design. Our flowers were so beautiful, guests raved about them and someone who worked at our reception venue stated that they had never seen such beautiful centerpieces at any event before.

I cannot recommend Fleur De Lis highly enough!! If you have the opportunity, you must use them!

Margaux and the team at Fleur De Lis were a delight to work with. I had a vague idea of what I wanted for my day and Margaux helped me put the finishing touches into the design. It turned out beautifully! The floral decor was an amazing complement to our venue and truly completed our vision. Fleur de lis is a MUST BOOK for your wedding!! Margaux was great to work with. Throughout the whole wedding process (and it can be a stressful one) she totally set me at ease. I sent her photos of ideas and arrangements that I liked and she completely transformed my venue. The floral arrangements were luscious and vibrant. The bouquets she made could not have been lovelier. With all of the hustle and bustle of getting ready in the morning, I hardly got a chance to look at my bouquet. I remember, during our ceremony as soon as I sat down, I got a whiff of my flowers!! They were so fragrant. It was a great moment. Also, Margaux has things to rent -We rented candelabra’s from her (they looked incredible in the venue as soon as it got dark out) and vintage mirrors.

Margaux and her team were extremely easy to work with and very professional. I would absolutely use her in the future and would highly recommend her.

The owner of Fleur De Lis, Margaux St. Ledger was outstanding in her professional approach to the business conducted with us. She was able to accommodate every request of my daughter to make her wedding a success. Margaux and her team were absolutely the best. From our initial consultation, Margaux listened very carefully to the type of wedding I was looking to create (an outdoor arboretum wedding with a rustic yet elegant vibe). What impressed me the most was how instantaneously she was able to capture my vision and make it even BETTER than what I had in my head. She is extremely creative and willing to think outside the box. As we got closer to the wedding, she was willing to not just set up the flowers, but also helped us design a makeshift photo booth, and provided a manzanita branch for our wedding favors. When I forgot to bring batteries for our photo booth camera, she didn't miss a beat, and tracked down our photographer who was able to give us plenty of extra batteries. Even though our wedding day ended up being extremely HOT, she managed to keep our flowers fresh and blooming. Our ceremony area, with a birch arch and shepherd hooks of flowers lining the aisle, was stunning. In the end, we had a gorgeous wedding, and Margaux was absolutely instrumental in making our day such a memorable event.

I used Fleur De Lis for my wedding and could not have thought more highly of them. Margaux is professional, knowledgable and has amazing taste. My husband and I came into the process having no idea what we were looking for and Margaux patiently walked us through different ideas, color schemes, and price ranges until we had a clear image in our heads of what we wanted. Even after knowing the exact type of flowers that were going to be used in each bouquet and centerpiece I was literally speechless when I saw the flowers on my wedding day. They were more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Using Fleur De Lis was one of the best decisions we made regarding our wedding. I would recommend her in a heartbeat.

Flowers are a crucial part to your wedding, I could of not been happier with what Margaux put together for me. Every meeting with her was informative and easy to follow. She captured everything I wanted in my "shabby chic" wedding look, not to mention the flowers lasted for quite a while after the wedding. Margaux also did my Moms wedding flowers and they were outstanding, she is incredibly talented and so easy to work with. Looking forward to working with her again on life's occasions!

Margaux did such a spectacular job with the floral decor at my wedding in Cairnwood. It had to be moved inside for the ceremony and I was worried about how it would all come together, but she really made it look perfect and intimate (it was like I had planned it that way all along!). The colors and types of flowers that she chose for the tables, my bridal party bouquets and my own bouquet were just perfect and fit me as they were a little different and not at all cookie cutter. She listened to what I wanted and then took it from there and was flexible along the way. I recommend her to any bride looking for someone who is professional (yet laid back) and does incredibly beautiful work! All of my guests (I mean even guys who usually don't notice things like flowers) were commenting on how beautiful all of the flower arrangements were!

Margaux St. Ledger, owner of Fleur De Lis Floral, is an absolute delight to work with. She is so very talented and made our reception, mass and bouquets for the bridal party shine with her incredible talent for floral design. So many of our guests commented on our gorgeous flowers. The flowers were fresh and magnificiently lush!!! Not only is she so very talented, she is a lovely person. I would highly recommend her for any event!!!

I could not have been happier with Margaux and Fleur De Lis! She is fabulous to work with and has such great ideas! I changed my bridesmaid's dress colors about 5 times throughout the planning process and Margaux didn't miss a beat with anything that came up! The flowers for our wedding were absolutely amazing and everyone has been commenting on how stunning everything turned out. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone!!

The reviews on Wedding Wire are spot on for Fleur de Lis. Margaux St. Ledger and her staff will provide you with the best of services, and at a reasonable price. We were married during the February snowstorm in Philadelphia, and Fleur de Lis was unphased by the storm. Despite the 28 inches of snow, they dropped off the flowers at the church, made another drop off at the hotel for our bouquets and corsages, and then transported numerous arrangements to Bensalem to our reception site. My husband and I really wanted to imbue our wedding with vintage and creative arrangements, and Margaux's work far surpassed all of our expectations in terms of sophistication. She was easy to work with, communicative, responsive, and helped make our wedding an unforgettable one.

Margaux did a great job with my wedding. I gave her a swatch of my theme, told her the colors I like and do not like, she emailed me several times with different pictures of flowers and colors so she could fully understand my taste/style. My flowers were perfect! And she is super nice, personable and easy to work with : )

Margaux from Fleur de lis was amazing to work with for my wedding. The ceremony arrangements were just fantastic, I loved my bouquets, and couldn't be happier with the bridesmaids bouquets. The centerpieces were phenomenal, I loved the way she decorated my cake with flowers.. She was also a pleasure to work with. She was very responsive, and willing to work within my budget. I would use her again in a heartbeat.

Margaux is amazing! She is a flower expert and grows a lot of them in her own backyard. Her flowers often come directly from Holland (flower capitol of the world). She is an extremely good listener and is excellent and providing expert consultation towards your vision. She is laid back and friendly (she is also good friends with Dana of Sage Catering so I recommend using them together). We had a specialty request to use my mother-in-law's antique silver and my own depression glass collections for the centerpieces and she was excited and on board with this specialty request. She was considerate of our budget, vision, and overall needs. She provided excellent support in ambiance outside of flowers by providing candles and holders for our centerpieces and other areas of the hall. I was EXCEPTIONALLY pleased with the service we experienced and WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER TO ANYONE!!!

Working with Margaux was great. She was very helpful, creative and flexible. We came in with an idea of colors, but no true vision, and she still knew exactly what to do. She took our ideas and brought them to life. Our initial proposal was a little high, and Margaux was so flexible and worked well with our budget. We ended up doing all vase center pieces with water and candles, filled with flower petals, and they looked stunning. The candles looked beautiful and we save a lot by skipping the floral center pieces.

Margaux was the only florist we met with (out of 3) that not only recommended, but encouraged "re-purposing" our flowers. We saved money by using the flowers in the ceremony, also during the cocktail hour. (We had flowers in little tins hanging on hooks up the aisle. At the end of the ceremony, she took them off the hooks and used them as center pieces on the high top tables at cocktail hour.) She also recommended we use the bridesmaids bouquets as centerpieces on the head table. So she set up vases on the head table, and all the girls placed their flowers in there.

Overall, we were so impressed with Margaux. She made us feel comfortable and confident in our choices, she was so creative and reliable. ALSO.. on the day of our wedding we brought a huge box of battery operated lights to use. We forgot the batteries, and Margaux went out and bought batteries and set up all the lights down a path into our venue. She went above and beyond!!

Margaux is a brilliant florist with a personal and beautiful artist's touch. For a bride that wants to give a vision and let the florist run with it, Margaux is the perfect choice. And even for the bride that has a vision, but keeps changing her mind, Margaux is still the perfect choice. She is very accommodating and knowledgeable. Her rates at first glance seem to run high, but Margaux was able to work within my budget and still give me amazing and beautiful flowers for my wedding. I was almost too nervous on the day-of to enjoy, but seeing the pictures afterwards, I couldn't be happier. Her work was gorgeous! Thank you, Margaux!

Marguax was extremely professional and helpful throughout our flower process. She had great suggestions on the types of flowers that would work well with the feel of our wedding. I want to start out all of my reviews by saying that my outdoor wedding ceremony was on a day of a freak nor'easter in October that absolutely no one could prepare for and the reception was in a tent... Having said that, Margeaux brought absolutely stunning flowers to both the hotel and the ceremony site on time and even fixed a glitch that involved an extra trip. She really decorated the unplanned ceremony site beautifully and was a pleasure to work with the entire way through. She took my ideas and translated them with her creativity amazingly. It was more than I intended to spend on flowers, but I did have a large wedding, and everything looked amazing!!

Margaux's designs are the most original I've seen. She doesn't do the same thing twice. Everything is highly customized just for you. She is very easy to connect with as a person and makes the decsion-making process easy. Her arrangements were far and away better than what I tried to image in my head. I went into the wedding planning process without much thought or concern for my flowers. That day i was blown away when I saw the tent for the first time and now when I look at my pictures I find the flowers and decor to be some of my favorite shots.
