I cannot recommend Flawless Hair & Makeup highly enough! On my wedding day, Taylor exceeded all expectations—I felt absolutely beautiful, confident, and still like myself, which was so important to me. Not only is Taylor incredibly talented, but she also has a calming presence that made getting ready on such a big day even more enjoyable. My bridal party was equally thrilled with their looks, and everyone kept commenting on how stunning the makeup was. Our makeup still looked flawless through the tears and hours of dancing. I had a great experience with Flawless! My wedding planner (from Em + Elle) recommended Flawless right away and they were one of the first vendors I booked! We worked with Sam and Marissa. Both showed up early and kept everyone on time. They were very fun to talk with and kept everyone comfortable. They were also open to feedback if there were any slight adjustments that needed to be made. I felt beautiful and my hair/makeup did not move all day and night! Highly recommend! -

Extremely happy with our decision to book with Flawless Hair & Makeup for my wedding hair/makeup. Nicole did my hair/makeup and she is so unbelievably talented. I ended up doing 2 trials before the wedding, as the makeup I thought I wanted at the first trial was just not “me”. At my second trial, Nicole gave me honest feedback/input and for someone who doesn’t know much about makeup, this was extremely helpful. She really listened to me and heard what I was saying. She helped put together a makeup look that was more “me”, and made me feel confident and beautiful. We rented out the studio for the morning of and they allowed us to bring in food, mimosas, hook up our own playlist, etc. The vibes that morning were perfect, with lots of cute picture spots & comfortable seats for everyone. With 3 stylists they got through 20 applications extremely efficiently, and allowed our photographer/videographer to stop in for a few getting ready photos before heading out. Cannot recommend this team enough! -

Beautiful Wedding Hair!
Taylor did hair and make up for my wedding and she did an AMAZING job. She worked quickly and had us done ahead of schedule which was so nice. We all loved our hair and make up and she did a great job of keeping everything natural, yet gorgeous at the same time! I got so many compliments on my hair all evening. Taylor, Jessie, and team were absolutely amazing to work with!! Our wedding was October 2020 which happened to be in the middle of the COVID pandemic. Taylor was so easy to work with and was right there beside me the whole process of wedding planning. She was accommodating and eager to make my day so special. Pricing was very fair and absolutely worth every penny we paid. I felt like such a beautiful bride because of Jessie, and my mother & bridesmaids were delighted with their hair and makeup. I would recommend Flawless to all my friends and family getting married in Ohio! -

Flawless Hair and Makeup was wonderful to work with. Taylor clearly spelled out everything in the contract and she was very responsive. Olivia did my hair and makeup along with some of my bridesmaids and she was so talented. My photographer said it was some of the best hair and makeup she had ever seen. Taylor with Flawless Hair & Makeup was absolutely perfect! She worked with both myself and my wife to create the perfect look we both envisioned for our hair and makeup. At both our trial and wedding day Taylor was nothing but professional. As someone who does not wear makeup often, she made the entire process comfortable and fun for me. She managed to create the glamorous but natural look that I wanted. She worked with us and our photographer to ensure both brides and the bridal party were ready and on schedule throughout the day. Taylor worked with each member of the bridal party to create looks that worked with everyones personal style. Everyone was happy with the final result! We got compliments all night long on how great our hair and makeup looked and on the preview photos we have seen everything looks perfect! Our hair and makeup looked just as great at the end of the night as it did before the ceremony. We would recommend Flawless Hair & Makeup to anyone! -

Taylor and her team did an incredible job with my makeup and the hair and makeup of my lovely bridesmaids and family! If you’re looking for someone who is equally apt at doing a full face of makeup as she is at a lighter look, then hire Taylor! She really listens to what kind of look people would like and are comfortable with, and she did beautiful makeup for women in their 20s through 70s at my wedding! She also was one of the few makeup artists I had seen around different wedding websites that had done makeup for women of color in her portfolio.
She also was extremely professional and flexible. I had to plan my wedding from out of town and she squeezed me in for a last minute makeup consult. She also arrived at my wedding almost 45 minutes ahead of schedule. She is just extremely detailed-oriented and organized, which brought me a lot of ease on my wedding day! -

Taylor was absolutely incredible from the time I started working with her. I didn't give another salon a look at after meeting her. My bride tribe only needed her for hair, but I know her makeup application is just as good. From our initial consultation, I loved her attitude and the way she presented herself. Wedding day finally came and she was there bright eyed and bushy tailed at 7:30. I cannot state enough times how glad I am that I picked her for our hair. Each girl had their own idea of what they wanted and she absolutely KILLED it. Ive never seen my girls look so beautiful. I even ended up wanting to switch my look just a LITTLE and I still obsess and obsess over how PERFECT it looked. And every single girls hair was "FLAWLESS" until we laid down for bed that night. Her pricing was also right in my range so everything turned out.... perfect. I'll never be able to thank her enough! They say you are your most beautiful on your wedding day and I have her to thank for half of that feeling!! -

My girls and I had the pleasure of working with Taylor for my wedding day on August 25,2018 and she was absolutely incredible. She went above and beyond to make each of us look beautiful and feel wonderful in our own skin. On top of being professional, she was also very quick while still achieving incredible results. I have never felt so beautiful and I literally did not want to take off my makeup or undo my hair at the end of the night! Each and every one of my girls adored her and couldn't stop talking about how sweet she was and how much they loved both their hair and makeup. I know that all of us continue to recommend her to everyone we know for all of their events! -

Bridal hair and makeup
I had a wonderful experience with Flawless Hair and Makeup! I was very anxious letting anyone do my makeup for my wedding as I am very anal and particular with how it’s done and felt discouraged with a trial months prior from another company. Taylor listened to me and has me exactly what I asked for. She used some of my own products that I prefer and used her creative and expertise to deliver a beautiful glam bridal look. I would recommend to anyone! -

I’ve never had anything but compliments on my hair and makeup every time. When preparing for my wedding, Taylor was one of the first people I contacted once I had a date because I trust her and knew I wanted her to do my hair and makeup. She far exceeded my expectations and I felt I looked even better than the pictures I showed her as a model. My hair and makeup looked just as good after my reception as it did before the ceremony - dancing, heat and all! You won’t be disappointed!

Taylor was phenomenal with talking me through every stage! My trial was amazing! We did a few different looks because I wasn’t sure and she was so patient as I attempted to figure it out. As a bride I cried pretty much non stop on my wedding day and you couldn’t tell one bit! Thank you so much Taylor! The bride had her trial 3 months before the wedding and it went great. We had hair and makeup done for the bride, mother of the bride and 7 bridesmaids. Having three artists there was amazing. They arrived on time, set up quickly and were ready to go. The bride asked her artist (who did her trial) if she could clean up the fly aways a bit and the artist acted like it was a bother. She stood there on her phone while the bride was looking in the mirror trying to figure out if she liked her hair. The artist was quick to tell her “if I keep messing with it, it’s gonna become frizzy and I was supposed to be done by 10:15”. The artist stood there with a rude look on her face with her arms crossed. The other two artists were willing to make any adjustments and stay if needed. Our start time was 7:15 and the planner wanted everyone done by noon. It was 10:15 and the artist told the bride “I don’t have time to redo your hair”. We were not aware that we had a time limit of 3 hours. The other artists stayed and finished. One even stayed longer to re-curl hair and fix some makeup. We will hire local for our next daughters wedding for ease of communication and use personal references. -

Overall, I was disappointed with my experience working with this company, even though I was ultimately happy with how my makeup turned out on the day of my wedding.
I found the management team difficult to work with and I often felt dismissed or that my requests were seen as unreasonable rather than part of the normal planning process for a bride. That tone really set the stage for the rest of my experience.
I also want to flag that the pricing structure felt unclear and overly complicated. I frequently encountered unexpected fees and add-ons, which left me feeling like I was being nickel-and-dimed. Additionally, there was a strong emphasis placed on the importance of sticking to their schedule — to the point that it felt like their timing was prioritized over the bride's comfort and experience, which was frustrating to navigate.
Regarding my individual makeup artist: while they did deliver a look I was happy with on the wedding day (which I appreciate), the trial sessions leading up to the event were not encouraging. I found it difficult to communicate my preferences and didn’t feel fully heard when sharing what works best for my features. That lack of collaboration left me feeling uneasy and unsure in the lead-up to the big day.
I hope this review provides some clarity for others considering this vendor. While they may be a good fit for some, I would advise future brides to ask detailed questions, clarify pricing upfront, and ensure they feel truly comfortable and respected in the process.Flawless Hair & Makeup's reply:

At Flawless Hair & Makeup, we pride ourselves on transparency, professionalism, and fairness to all of our clients and artists. We work hard to make each bride feel supported and valued while also maintaining consistent standards and policies across hundreds of weddings each year.
In your case, our team went above and beyond to accommodate several custom requests. You initially had a trial with one of our artists, Nicole, for your engagement photos. After receiving your photos, you decided to go in a different direction for your eye look and asked us to waive your original trial fee—a request we respectfully declined, as we believe our artists deserve to be compensated for their time and talent. Even so, we made an exception by offering a second, eyes-only trial at a significantly discounted rate—something we do not normally offer—to ensure you felt confident with your look.
You were originally scheduled with another artist but requested a change due to availability, which we promptly accommodated. You then asked us to apply the cost of your trial and your reservation fee toward your wedding day minimum. Our policies, outlined clearly in both our email communication and contract, state that the reservation fee is non-refundable and not applied toward day-of services, and that trials are separate from wedding day minimums. We do this to remain fair and consistent across all of our bookings.
As for the schedule, we build timelines based on each artist’s professional experience and working pace. Nicole is an experienced and efficient artist who typically completes bridal party applications in about 20–30 minutes. We build in an additional buffer at the end of each schedule to allow for flexibility and touch-ups. We kindly communicated why assigning one-hour blocks for makeup wasn’t necessary, and we did our best to explain how our process keeps the day running smoothly.
Our goal is always to deliver a positive, personalized experience while also respecting our team’s time and honoring the same policies for every client. We understand that wedding planning is stressful and emotions can run high, but our intention was never to dismiss your concerns—we simply worked within the boundaries of our established procedures.
