  Great Experience and Guests are still Raving

  Flavor did a fantastic job catering our April 2024 wedding. We had an incredible time at the tasting and they answered all of our questions. We also had a lot of changes to our final count the week of our wedding. They were so understanding and made sure we had everything we needed. To top everything off, the food is amazing! All of our guests raved about how good everything was.

  Guests are still raving!

  We are so glad we worked with Flavor for our welcome drink, passed appetizers, and plated meal. We wanted to offer our guests a pre-ceremony drink before the bar opened, and the blackberry sage lemonade (with and without some Tito’s vodka 😊) was a hit. I also wish I could eat their pork wonton taco app every day. Maryanna was so helpful when we were deciding on a menu and it was delicious. We’ve had multiple guests compliment the food and say they’ve never had such delicious food at a wedding before. I was too hungry to let the “phone eat first” but did get a photo of the welcome drink.

  AMAZING experience

  Flavor exceeded our expectations for catering on our special day. The communication with Bailey was awesome and clear from the beginning - we knew exactly what we would be paying for. The tasting was wonderful and they made us feel so special. On our wedding day we were flooded with comments from our guests saying how delicious the food was. Cocktail hour we had 3 types of passed apps (Nashville hot chicken bites, deconstructed beef Wellington bites & burrata and roasted tomato crostini) all were amazing. For dinner we went with a plated meal with the lemon artichoke chicken or the brown sugar balsamic flank steak as the protein options for our guests with the green beans w/ caramelized shallots and sour cream and chive mashed potatoes. Dessert we had tiramisu and key lime shooters which were also wonderful! Cannot recommend them enough

  Delicious, Professional, Caring

  Hiring a caterer was BY FAR the most difficult decision in my wedding planning. Like many couples, food is deeply important to my husband and me; I wanted something that represented us, somehow. And of course, I wanted it to be delicious. So I budgeted what I thought was a high amount for catering, but even this seemed to be falling flat. I clicked through vendor after vendor with mouthwatering pictures, diverse menu options, and glowing reviews. How could I ever choose?!?!
  
  Eventually, I did-- and I am so thrilled to say I made the BEST possible choice.
  
  1. The food was delicious at our tasting and even better at the actual event. For our July wedding, we wanted something fresh and light, yet filling enough to support the drinking you do at a wedding, and also with a great vegetarian option, oh and unique and flavorful and definitely NOT bland. Maryanna and the team nailed it with a Mediterranean menu.
  
  2. Let's talk more about Maryanna-- she is amazing!! We started with a phone call where she truly understood my desires and concerns, and she made a lot of great points I hadn't considered. Whereas some other caterers seemed to play the "here's a beautiful proposal but 20% over your max budget but doesn't it sound so good??" game, Maryanna actually worked magic to give me a proposal under my budget. The value was top-notch. So then it's time to book a tasting, but we were VERY close to my date already (oops) and their calendar was full. Again, Maryanna made it happen for us. At the tasting, she was super responsive to our requests and inquiries. I wanted a dish that they don't usually offer, but she worked with the chef and made it happen like it was nothing. Finally, leading up to the event, all of her communication was crystal clear, timely, and warm.
  
  
  3. As for the day of, the food was delicious and the bar tenders were top-notch. What more could you want?
  
  
  My only regret was not having plated salads before the buffet (Maryanna had brainstormed this option for us and the only additional cost would have been renting salad plates (and possibly forks, I don't remember), no additional catering fee-- so I would recommend going this route if you buffet!).

  Absolutely phenomenal!

We went into the Flavor catering consult with one mission- fantastic food with a unique menu. Let me just say- Flavor knocked it out of the PARK! From a pho station to shrimp and grits (we did a split Asian + Southern menu which was DELICIOUS)- our guests were talking about the food for DAYS. Cannot tell you how grateful we are to have had them catering our wedding- plus our late night dish included Pie Town tacos + queso! Thank you, thank you, thank you to the entire Flavor team for helping make our wedding night unforgettable! Would definitely recommend Flavor to any friend getting married in Nashville!

  The BEST investment I made in the wedding was hiring Flavor!

  There are plenty of catering companies in Nashville, but it is no mystery why Flavor Catering is the best in town.
  
  We worked with Bailey throughout the planning process, and she was an absolute rockstar. We went through so many menu revisions going from a buffet to a stations model, adding/subtracting appetizers during the cocktail hour, and hiring more staff. She was kind, patient, and so thorough in answering our dozens of questions.
  
  Flavor was incredible the day of our event. Our guests LOVED the food, and are still talking about how the food was so good. The presentation was beautiful, and the staff was so kind throughout the entire event.
  
  I was hesitant at first to hire Flavor because they are on the pricier side of caterers in Nashville, but your money ensures you are getting the highest quality food and service in town. Hiring Flavor was the best investment we made during the planning process, and I would do it exactly the same way all over again.

  Going with Flavor Catering was one of our best decisions for our wedding! We love tapas and variety and they delivered a customized food station menu that was beyond our expectations. The food was high quality and the presentation was incredible! On top of that, their service staff was professional and kind. We had such a smooth, fun process working with Maryanna throughout the planning stages and we absolutely would use them again for any of our future catering needs.

Staff helped with clean-up and served the cake without extra fees. Flavor provided bar services and did a wonderful job serving our champagne toast to our guests as they entered the venue. Their staff was incredibly professional and took very good care of our wedding guests. Highly recommend this company for any Nashville area event needing delicious food and excellent service!

  Amazing Catering Company

  Flavor did a phenomenal job catering our wedding. We worked with them to come up with a custom menu from appetizers, salad, double entrees, and signature cocktails, and everything was exceptional. The food was super flavorful and fresh and all of their servers were very attentive and professional. Our guests were raving about how good the food was and I couldn't be happier that we went with Flavor. The team was very accommodating when we had to change our plans due to COVID, and made it work so that we could still have them cater the event. Mary Nell and her team were very easy to work with and super responsive. I highly recommend hiring Flavor for your next event - your taste buds will thank you!

  While we weren't able to follow through with our original catering plans with Flavor due to COVID-19, our experience with them was still absolutely phenomenal. Creating a personalized menu with them was such a great experience and the one-on-one tasting was jaw dropping. Their presentation and professionalism was simply one-of-a kind and when it came down to coming up with a plan b, they were on board and willing to have a discussion about next steps. We so appreciate who they are a business and hope to work with them again in the near future.

  Flavor Catering provided us with incredible food for our wedding dinner and cocktail hour. I worked with Mary Nell to figure out what would work best with our budget. She answered numerous emails and spoke with me over the phone to discuss the needs of our guests, while also being respectful of our budget. Our guests raved about the food. Even as a picky eater, I dreamed of this food since our tasting months prior. They also worked with some of our other vendors before, so it took so much stress off our shoulders knowing they were aware of rules and policies already.

  Fantastic Food and Stellar Service

  We could not be more pleased with our choice of Flavor Catering for our wedding. Every one of our guests RAVED about the food all night. Each dish is thoughtfully curated and tastes even better than it looks! Their servers and bar staff were also very friendly and pleasant to work with.   Everyone is talking about the food!

  Flavor catered our wedding and the food is one of the things about our big day that EVERYONE is still talking about! The shrimp and grits appetizers, the roasted airline chicken, spring mix salad, and the white cheddar Mac n cheese were the favorites. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We had two buffet lines, two bars and a drink station and it worked out perfect for our 250 guests. Seriously everywhere we go people tell us how great the food was so I am so happy that we chose Flavor!!

  Fabulous caterer. Excellent, beautiful food. Caterer arrived at venue and absolutely took over. Whenever a question arose, the caterer captain would quietly, calmly explain situation and suggest a solution. Will definitely use them whenever I need a high quality caterer

  We used Flavor Catering for our son's rehearsal dinner. I cannot say enough good things about them. They were a pleasure to work with, were so helpful in picking a menu, their service was superb and most importantly their food was FANTASTIC!!! Our guests still talk about how good the food was at our rehearsal dinner. You cannot go wrong using Flavor Catering!

I can honestly say if I could go back and do everything over I would still use Flavor!

  I highly recommend Flavor. They were flexible, prompt, and helpful during the wedding process. Our guests raved about the food and the wedding food was identical to our earlier tasting. Book this vendor if you want incredible food on your special day.

  Our food was spectacular. We eventually chose to go with a very simple menu, but even then the guests could not stop complimenting everything we had. I was only disappointed that my dress was so tight and I couldn't eat more! Ha! Natalie was so kind a patient for working with us through the many, many changes we made to our menu and coordinating with our budget. I would recommend them to everyone!

Their event space, 618 Ewing, is such a hidden gem. It's the perfect location for an intimate event like a rehearsal dinner, birthday party, baby shower or even a wedding! The space is really unique and industrial, the team is amazing to work with and the pricing is so competitive for the location of the venue - right downtown! It's on my list as a top contender for so many of my events! A must see!
