The long review: We cannot thank Layna, Emmalee, Tara, Erinn, chefs Shannon and Shawn, and the rest of their wonderful staff enough for everything that they did to make our day so great. Their team is truly special, and we feel so lucky to have had their involvement in our big day.
They did a phenomenal job working with a lot of severe food allergies and problem-solving mobility constraints so that we could have our ceremony at their STUNNING outdoor ceremony space.

We keep reminiscing about how amazing everything was, each and every person of their team went above and beyond. I feel so lucky to have had the pleasure to plan our wedding with Layna. She was so incredible to work with throughout the entire process. Extremely responsive, kind, and the biggest advocate for turning our wedding dream into a reality. We so appreciate all the care, thought, time, and effort she put in to making it the best day.

Layna, Emmalee, Tara, Erinn, chefs Shannon and Shawn, and their staff did such an amazing job. It was evident they are all extremely experienced. The whole team works so well with each other during the planning phase that they make the wedding day seem effortless. They work with a wide range of budgets and I have no doubt they make each feel equally special.

Since our wedding, we have been getting so many compliments. I can't tell you how many have people told us it was the best wedding food they ever had, how beautiful the venue was, and how kind the staff was. I was excited when researching their venue in the beginning because so many reviews complimented their food. Now being able to speak from experience, saying it's delicious is an understatement. We did the buffet and everyone was impressed with the quality and amount of food. Multiple guests told us they couldn't decide which was their favorite between the chicken, tenderloin, or salmon.

Another thing we loved was being able to access the venue the morning of the wedding day. Other venues that we had looked at before Flat Creek only allowed access two hours before the ceremony, and it just seemed like a recipe for stress. Having access in the morning made it so stress-free for family members helping out with decor and gave them plenty of time to go back to the hotel to get ready for the wedding. We also didn't have to worry about multiple events being booked for the same day. Their team truly focuses on you.

This venue checks all the boxes, even ones you don't realize you have. We highly recommend having your wedding at Flat Creek Country Club. Do yourself a favor and book with them :)

We had the most wonderful time hosting our wedding at Flat Creek Country Club. The Club was experiencing some turnover during our planning process, but the team stepped up and made sure that we received the same level of service and excellent experience for our big day. Layna and Emmalee in particular were an incredible help - jumping in to accommodate every request and making our entire party and guest list feel welcome. The food is great, the views are wonderful, and the location (close to Atlanta but just far enough to feel like a peaceful getaway) was perfect for us. Thank you, Flat Creek!

Want a magical wedding day or event. Pay them a visit. This venue is BEAUTIFUL ! I fell in love with it's natural beauty the moment I drove onto the property. After touring this place, I refused to visit another venue because Flat Creek had everything that I was looking for. The Flat Creek event team welcomed us with open arms and made us feel comfortable. My guest are still raving about the grounds, amazing views, food, drinks, service and the overall experience. Our older guest really enjoyed the golf cart ride to and from the pavilion. The bridal and groom suites were clean, comfortable and had the best sandwiches, snacks and drinks waiting for us. Working with Layna was great. She kept us informed, listened to us and made sure we had everything that we asked/paid for. The catering/service team were quick, kind and efficient. We received royal/grand treatment on our wedding day. We were never rushed nor pressured. It was the most stress less day ever. Everything was PERFECT! I will highly recommend this venue to others-best packages. Looking forward to attending or hosting another event here soon. Thanks Flat Creek.

Flat Creek Country Club provided a gorgeous beautiful backdrop for one of our recent wedding couples! The ceremony pavilion was absolutely stunning, and the reception ballroom provided beautiful views as well! The team at Flat Creek Country Club did an amazing job putting together our client's dream wedding & delivering a phenomenal experience the day of! Their catering was also out of this world - the food was nothing short of incredible! We'd HIGHLY recommend this venue to all couples looking for a magical wedding venue!

The employees at Flat Creek were so accommodating and easy to work with and made my wedding planning process a breeze. My husband and I had a such great experience having our wedding reception at here! The space itself is gorgeous with large windows overlooking the golf course, and the food was so amazing that all our guest were commenting on how good everything was. We are so happy that we went with Flat Creek for our venue!

My daughter was married here on 10/27/18. She chose the Storybook Wedding package with a few additional options. We were MORE than pleased with food, service and attention to us and our guests!! Everyone had a wonderful time and complimented us over and over on the food and venue!! I was so pleased and so were the Bride and Groom!! It was everything we hoped for and Rick Baumgartner, Serenity, Kaylin and Isaac and their staff were a pleasure! My only complaint was that the wedding and reception were over too soon!!

From the moment we walked into the ballroom at Flat Creek, we knew it was the venue we wanted. I loved how the space was beautiful on it's own, which was great for me as someone who didn't want to spend a ton on flowers or other decorations. We did not get married here, but the pergola is BEAUTIFUL and would be an amazing setting for anyone interested in an outdoor ceremony. We were able to get some amazing pictures in it that look like they are out of a magazine!

I am from Baltimore, so I did have a lot of out of town guests and having the wedding in Peachtree City was much more convenient for people than if we had done it north of Atlanta. There are things to do in the area, its only 30 minutes from the airport and it is an affordable city. There are lots of options for hotels as well that are very close to this venue.

When planning our wedding, my husband and I agreed that the food was a top priority. The best weddings are the ones with amazing food, and I will say that the food for our reception did not disappoint. We did the 3 entree buffet and everything was delicious. Many of my friends and family even commented on how delicious everything was.

For how much food we got, I do feel like it was a really good value compared to some of the other similar venues we looked at. There were lots of options too for doing less if we had needed to save some on our budget. It was also nice how we didn't have to give final headcount until 1 week before the wedding, allowing us to account for some of the people who back out at the last minute.

The last thing I would say is that the events director, Rick Baumgardner, was a pleasure to work with. He had came into his job after we had already signed our contract, but we were so glad he did. Every time we went down there he was so accommodating and he worked with my coordinator directly to make sure everything went off without a hitch. The day turned out beautiful and there is nothing I would have changed.

Bonnie and her team meet our every need! She is so professional and polite and joy to work with. We trusted her from the day we meet her!

Flat Creek Club hosted our reception. It is absolutely stunning. We used their outdoor pavilion for pictures with our wedding party-so gorgeous. The food was AMAZING. Aside from the party, people still can't stop talking about how amazing the food was and it's been months! The only negative was that they have a new corporate rule where you can't set up until 2 hours before the ceremony or reception time, which is absolutely ridiculous. However, Jenae and her team allowed us to come in at 7am the day of to set up. The whole team there are wonderful and super easy to work with and offer great suggestions on style, set up ideas, and even food selection. We wish we could relive the day over again!!

Karen & Amy are great ladies to do business with, they made my experience at flat creek a great one. The staff is also amazing & when I didn't have enough cupcakes they gave me extra, which my guests absolutely loved. Beautiful place to have a wedding at.

I had my reception at Flat Creek and it was absolutely perfect!! All of the staff were super attentive and professional! Karen was amazing and so helpful throughout the entire process! Beyond happy with how everything turned out and would definitely recommend this location to anyone!

Having my wedding and reception at Flat Creek Country Club was perfect. The venue is gorgeous and the staff was amazing to work with. Karen and Amy made every wish and idea that I had come to life and were with us the whole time. They anticipated our needs and were on top of everything. We will be using Flat Creek in the future for other special events.

I don't know what to say about Flat Creek Country Club except that Ms. Karen, the Event and Catering Director, is one of a kind AMAZING! The venue is beautiful and the food was delicious!! Ms. Karen was always available to provide guidance and to answer any questions that we had for her. The staff that worked during our reeception were great as well! They were very lively and took care of all of our needs!!

My wedding at Flat Creek was PERFECT! Everything about it was great. Karen and Amy were so wonderful and accommodating to my family and I while planning and the ceremony / reception. The food was amazing and the bartenders really took care of my guests!!! My bridesmaids and I got ready in the beautiful bridal suite. Amy was in and out checking on us; asked if we needed anything and made sure we were ok. They provided us with fruit and cheese plates, plus champagne!!! Once the ceremony began, Karen was around making sure everything was running smoothly and she stayed on the time line. The whole experience, from deciding on Flat Creek to the ceremony was wonderful and pleasant.

You really can't go wrong by choosing this venue! The outside venue is gorgeous! The ballroom was beautifully decorated with the linens, chair covers and sashes, all provided by the club, and the view from the ballroom with its many windows is amazing too. Wonderful staff to work with, attentive and responsive to all our questions and needs throughout the planning process.

Flat Creek is a beautiful venue at a wonderful price! The staff, especially Karen, is wonderful to work with, even if you have a million last minute jittery bride questions for her.

Karen is super helpful, calm, easy to work with and ensured those things that were really important to us happened even when the outdoor wedding was rained out and brought indoors. Amazing venue for a wedding! The moment we had walked into Flat Creek we knew we wanted to have our reception there. It is absolutely beautiful. Karen did a wonderful job at helping to create the perfect wedding. She was extremely helpful throughout the process and especially on our wedding day! The food at Flat Creek is delicious. Theda and the Flat Creek Country Club staff was nothing short of Amazing. From day one when my husband and I meet Theda we knew Flat Creek was the place for our wedding. She didn't disappoint us not one time. My husband is very particular about how he likes things and she made sure things were exactly how he wanted and if they were not she changed things until he was pleased. It rain, hailed and storm 10 minutes before or outside ceremony was about to start. Theda, my coordinator, and the flat creek staff transformed the recepition area in less than 30 minutes. Theda is the best and I would recommend FLAT CREEK COUNTRY CLUB to anyone that's getting married.

If you are looking for a fairy tale wedding and great food with awesome staff Flat creek is your place. You can have a beautiful wedding with out spending a fortune here. The food was phenomenal and the grounds are gorgeous Theda made my day worth every pretty penny spent. I recommend you check this place out!! Plus Peachtree city is beautiful.

We had our wedding at Flat Creek Country Club in May. Everything just exceeded our expectations. Theda and Debbie were so helpful and organized. We received so many comments on how well everything was run and our night just kept flowing. All of our guests were delighted with the food and bar service. We could not have picked a better place to service our amazing day. We recommend using Flat Creek Country Club for your wedding.

Our son's rehearsal dinner at Flat Creek was a joy to host! Theda and her staff were amazing all through the planning process, and delivered on everything we could possibly have hoped for and more! Food was delicious, room was gorgeous, details were attended to - Perfect in every way!!!

Theda is always calm, cool, and collected. She answered any questions or concerns we had quickly and guided us through everything with ease. Her staff was so helpful and kind that we knew we had no worries for the reception. The bride and groom had a grand time and all the guests were very complimentary of the venue and the food. Flat Creek was GREAT! A beautiful venue. Our guests would not stop talking about how gorgeous it was. We did a plated dinner, which guests also would not stop talking about! It was so delicious. Theda makes it very personal, an overall great experience.

The people at Flat Creek Country Club were extraordinary, from our initial meeting to the very end of our wedding reception. Theda was a huge help in organizing, scheduling and planning our event, and her entire staff did a great job. When one of the vendors we hired dropped the ball, the Flat Creek staff picked it up and saved us from a great embarrassment. These professionals, the spacious accommodations, the windowed view with rolling fairways created an altogether lovely day.

Theda was delightful to work with and went above and beyond to make the planning process as easy as possible for us. Deborah, the banquet manager who oversaw the reception did an exceptional job and every server was extremely professional and personable. The staff at Flat Creek was always one step ahead of us in the planning process and during the entire reception. The food was exceptional and our guests are still raving about it! Our reception turned out even better than I imagined and was absolutely perfect. The venue is beautiful, the staff is ideal to work with and food was delicious! We were thrilled with every detail that Flat Creek was involved with to make this the most memorable and fun reception many of our guests said they had ever attended!

Flat Creek was one of the first places I looked at for my wedding. I knew I wanted an outside wedding in the evening and this place was beautiful. The new arbor that has been built was just beautiful. We decorated the bushes with white lights and had candles all on the alter. A few more outlets would have been nice, but everything got done. Theda is great to work with. She works great over email, which is always how I preferred to work. The prices are very fair compared to others in the area. The only thing at the reception that bothered me was the bartenders served beer in the cans, but we asked that they stop and they quickly did and served beer in glasses. The bridal room is great. Note, there is no place for the groom. We did alter the room arrangement and had the grooms cake at the front. Everyone loved the simple elegance of the ballroom. I highly recommend!

Flat Creek is awesome. I worked with Theda and she is a dream to work with. She was so helpful and accommodating during every step of the process. The club itself is gorgeous and has excellent service and prices. Everyone loved the food, in fact my Pastor was still talking about it Church the next day and my family still is! The staff was excellent. If you are planning a wedding ( or any event) on the South side of Atlanta, I highly recommended Flat Creek.

Beautiful Beautiful Beautiful. Thankfully the weather cooperated and I was able to have my wedding at their outdoor ceremony site and it had a gorgeous view. The reception in the ballroom which was very nice and the service was fantastic. I enjoyed working with Theda.

Full disclosure - our wedding isn't until next spring. Our experience so far has been great. Jenae has been super responsive in getting us to tour the venue and with providing us answers to all of the questions we had. The venue itself is beautiful. We chose it for the ceremony space which is simply stunning. The ballroom is much brighter in person than it is in photographs because it has 2 walls of windows and a large skylight. Many vendors have told us that Flat Creek is wonderful to work with so we are thrilled to have chosen them as our venue. I will say that they are above what we were hoping to spend but they provide a lot for what they charge. Their price includes the space, food, unlimited beer & wine, tables, chairs, linens, basic centerpieces, cake cutting, and use of the venue for the entire day to get ready and set up (this is a big one. most places we looked at in our budget did not offer this). I'll edit this or write another review once we've had our wedding.

Theda and the staff at Flat Creek did an excellent job! The room was gorgeous and just what we requested. All the vendors Theda recommended came through for us. The staff was sharp and extremely professional. The food was delicious and they kept the hor d'oeuvres refreshed while serving the meal since it took just a little while to serve 160 plated meals. So many of our guests have commented that the reception was wonderful and they really enjoyed themselves! Success!

Loved Flat Creek. They have a beautiful outside ceremony site which includes a huge wooden beam structure that overlooks the golf course. The reception site is right next door so your guests don't have to drive. The club provides golf carts for the wedding party. Theda Tankersley/Catering Director was prompt with emails and phone calls. She helped to plan out the timeline of the evening and iron out any kinks. Our tables looked wonderful and the food was delicious and filling. There is a room for the bridal party to get ready in and they provided champagne for us upon arrival. There is also a hotel (Wyndham) within one mile of the reception site.

Growing up in Peachtree City, my family were members at Flat Creek Country Club, so it seemed fitting that I should look there to have our wedding. We live in Houston, so it was difficult to plan from a far, and we didn't waste time with venues that weren't accessible through email (I worked nights the entire time we planned the wedding.) Theda was a dream to work with from the start: she accommodated my crazy schedule and was always willing to talk if I dropped by while home on vacation. She walked us through every step, recommending vendors (we used their band from the New Year's party) and working with us on my mother's gluten allergy (the chef worked with my mom to make a meal similar to the one we were serving, but was safe for her to eat). Everyone raved about the food! It was super easy to pick out the menu, and it was all food that my husband and I had taste-tested and approved.

Overall, I recommend Flat Creek for your reception venue. It was a bit pricier since it was an all-inclusive (instead of renting furniture, hiring a caterer, etc.) but that meant that most of the day was taken care of through Theda and that took a lot of the stress off my shoulders, and I could enjoy the whole process more.

Our reception was absolutely wonderful! We still get compliments on how great the food was, as well as our beautiful reception banquet room.

We had our ceremony and reception at Flat Creek Country Club in July. The ceremony area outside was beautiful- even more so once we got the pictures back and they look even prettier than we remembered. The bride's room was great for the bridal party to get ready- with Champagne and snacks provided by the Club. The Reception room was set up exactly how we wanted it and was beautiful. The food was delicious- we couldnt decide what to serve since everything tasted so yummy. Theda was very pleasant to work with and made planning easy. We got so many comments on how beautiful the ceremony and reception was, and how delicious the food was. Great Venue! Thanks!

We can not say how awesome the views of the grounds and club house were for our Wedding on 11/20/10. The staff was phenomenal and kept us updated throughout the night. We Worked with Theda before and she made sure that all the details were as we liked. Before the wedding got started if there were things missing, they jumped on it quickly and got it fixed. They were really easy to book with and they handle a lot on site which was a huge plus for me. They took care of the set up, break down, food and beverages. We could really personalize what we wanted!! The only negative was they they didn't always get my emails so I'd follow up by phone.

We had our wedding on 05/25. When we booked the venue Theda was ahead of catering but retired from her position. Karen assisted us from then on and she was wonderful. She was responsive immediately most of the time and was very hands on the day of the wedding. Thank you so much for all your help Karen. The only thing that could have been better was the food on the day of. The food came out a little slow and some guests indicated that the chicken was a little tough. Overall everything else was great. I would recommend this venue to others.

Flat creek was the first venue I looked at and fell in love. The ceremony site is beyond gorgeous and the reception site has the most beautiful windows overlooking the golf course. I looked at a few other venues but went back to the first place with no regrets! Theda really knows how to sell the venue! The value was great as well. On the wedding day they were wonderful and even though it rained briefly they were on top of it helping dry the seats off and making sure everything was perfect! My guests raved about the food. The bridal suite is gorgeous and the guys enjoyed hanging out in the bar. We were very pleased with everything!

Beautiful location, good price, friendly staff...My only concern was that the day of the wedding they weren't quite as organized as I would hope.

We felt a little mislead by the Vendor. The food was great at the tasting but cold at our reception and the staff didn't seem to care that it was OUR big day....they were more concerned with going home and getting out of there; we felt extremely rushed. We piad a lot of extra money for small details and the vendor did not follow through with all promises made. Oh well; I still married the man of my dreams and our honeymoon was a blast...!
