Best place to buy a wedding dress!
I had a wonderful experience from the moment I walked in the store! Ayanna was sweet, patient, and knowledgeable. I showed her an inspiration dress that I had found online and she found a nearly identical one in the store that I tried on and ended up purchasing!
Everyone else has been super helpful throughout the process including the store manager and the tailor.

I had such a wonderful experience at Flares Bridal in Walnut Creek! From the moment I walked in, everyone made me feel so welcome and comfortable. It’s a family-owned business, and you can really feel the warmth and care they put into helping each customer.
The team was friendly, patient, and thorough throughout the whole process. They made what could have been a stressful experience feel easy and enjoyable. Their pricing is also very fair, which made everything even better.
I need to have a few tailoring appointments due to my body size but nothing that’s their fault. Each visit has been smooth and reassuring. I’m so excited to pick up my dress soon! I highly recommend Flares Bridal to any bride looking for a supportive, professional, and genuinely caring experience.

I had the best experience at Flares Bridal! This was the first stop in my wedding dress search after hearing from a few friends that they had found their dresses here. I came in with a few styles in mind and Lissa helped me pick out a few options that aligned with what I had envisioned. I had a hard time deciding between two dresses and she helped me try both on twice to ensure I felt confident with my decision. I ended up saying yes to the very first dress I tried on. It felt meant to be!

I had the most incredible experience at Flares Bridal! I actually bought my prom dress here 10 years ago, so returning to find my wedding gown felt like such a full-circle moment.
The store itself is stunning—the lighting and ambiance make you feel like a bride the moment you walk in. Ayanna, my stylist, was a total dream. She listened to everything I was looking for and personally hand-picked the dress that ended up being 'the one!’
The staff is so warm and attentive, keeping me updated throughout the entire process and answering every question with so much care. I can’t thank them enough for making my bridal experience so sentimental and perfect.

I had such a great experience at Flares! The store is very clean and staff is amazing! Ray was incredibly welcoming and made me feel so comfortable. I found my dress and felt completely supported the entire time. I ordered the dress last May and it came in October. When I went to pick it up, Ray again helped me pick out a veil to go along with it! I tried on so many and didn't feel rushed or pressured at all.
I just recently had my first dress alterations fitting and the tailor was great and answered all my questions!

Great Experience
I visited this bridal store on a weekday for a bridal fitting with my bridesmaids, mom, and aunt, and we felt welcomed from the moment we walked in. Lissa made the entire experience so interactive! She gave each of my bridesmaids a tag to select a dress for me to try on, which made the whole party feel included. It was so much fun seeing what everyone chose for me. After trying on a few dresses, I finally found 'The One.' Huge thanks to Lissa for making the fitting appointment stress-free and fun!

I had such an amazing experience at Flares Bridal! I ended up finding the dress here, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

When I went into Flares Bridal + Formal I had an amazing experience with my dress fitting and all the staff were amazing. They were super welcoming when I came in and listened to my request on the dress I was looking for. The first dress I tried on ended up being the one I loved and picked for my wedding. These ladies in the picture were extraordinary. They made my dress fitting so memorable. Looking forward to continue going in for my alterations and bringing my dream dress to life.

Words can’t describe how much I love this shop. From the start, Lissa welcomed my family and I with open arms, gave great recommendations, and I ultimately said yes to the dress here.
The shop had so many options and many different styles to choose from. I went to so many shops before coming to Flares, and nothing compared to it.

WOW...Lissa and her team at Flares Bridal is simply unmatched. From the moment I walked in with my family, I felt immediately cared for and genuinely excited for the process of trying on wedding dresses. I was so grateful to the care and support that each lady provided...Ayanna is the BEST hype gal around and really made me feel so special. I found my dress on the first day. While I was trying on dresses, other women were too and the environment was so kind and warm; everyone was telling each other how beautiful one another looked...It was a really special day that will be a core memory for me for the rest of my days
Fast forward to my first alteration and I had the EXACT same, incredible experience. This time, Beatrix was there to work with me to make my dress perfect and she did just that. I had my first dress fitting today after purchasing my dress from Flares in July. Both of my experiences have been amazing with excellent service, and I really felt like the team cares! There were no weird feelings with my initial appointment when I would say I liked or disliked certain things about each dress. The stylist who worked with me took all of my opinions and helped me find the PERFECT dress! I decided to do my alterations through Flares as well because the team there is so awesome and I trust them to do amazing work with my dress. Overall, I am extremely happy with my experience and have told all of my engaged friends that they need to go to Flares when dress shopping!

Flares is an anxious, indecisive bride’s dream come true- everyone is so kind, patient, and attentive! Ayanna has been seeing me through this entire process and she has the patience of a saint. Through all of my questions and concerns, she remained calm and never once made it seem like I was asking for too much. Her aura is warm and bright and it made me feel like I could trust her with all of my decisions. The store itself has tons of natural light and very clean seating areas. I also got to meet one of the owners, Ray, who was always nearby and ready to help where she could. I just had my first alterations fitting and worked with their amazing seamstress who was extremely attentive to detail. Overall exceptional experience! Dreamy, observant, kind!
Flares Bridal was one of my top choices in all the research I had done. This was my first stop on my dress shopping tour. I had plans to go to 5 bridal shops in 2 days, but by the 4th dress, I found the one! I cancelled the rest of my appointments and my mom was in tears. I found the dress of my dreams! And actually, the amazing staff who worked with me helped me pick it out. She was so attentive and observant. She was listening to my feedback after each dress I tried on, and knew just the dress that I was trying to visualize. From the moment she showed it to me on the hanger, I knew we had found my wedding dress! I couldn't be happier with my experience. Amazing wedding dress shopping experience!
I highly recommend Ayanna and Flares Bridal! Ayanna is an absolute gem, so kind and patient, and knows her stuff! I first worked with her in December 2024 when I picked out my wedding dress. There were a lot of alterations I wanted to make to the dress I ended up picking, and she was able to help me brainstorm and figure out to make my dress absolutely perfect. She is so sweet and kind.
Flash forward to May 2025, my dress has arrived, and I'm ready for my first fitting. She was there alongside the seamstress giving moral support and feedback. She also helped me pick out my veils which I am so grateful for.
Overall, Flares has a wonderful selection and price point. My wedding dress shopping experience was so special for me and my family. I am so happy and grateful to have found Flares and Ayanna!

Short notice, no problem!
Flare's was the first shop we visited and it ended up being the last as well due to the amazing service and support my mom and I felt. Lissa was an amazing help in my search for a wedding dress on such short notice (3 month turnaround with alterations). I spent hours and days looking for a perfect bridal shop and came across Flares in Walnut Creek. They were my second bridal shop and as soon as I went in for my appointment I felt so welcomed. I did not feel rushed or overwhelmed. They made sure to take my wants into consideration and budget friendly. They have been absolutely amazing and so understanding of everything! New brides shopping around I highly recommend Flares in Walnut Creek. They are a small business but you can see the passion they have for all brides!

I had such a great experience shopping at Flares Bridal. They have a great selection of dresses and I was able to find 2 dresses that I fell in love with.

I had a great experience at Flares Bridal! My consultant Ray was kind, professional, helpful, and wasn't pushy at all. When it came time for me to make a final decision after visiting other stores, Ray fit me in on short notice and even came in early when she knew the store would be quieter in order to help me have the best "yes!" experience. Alterations were a breeze and throughout the entire process I felt listened to and accommodated. Flares and Lissa made the impossible possible!
I cannot say enough good things about Flares Bridal. I came into this bridal boutique on a Sunday afternoon, without an appointment, very stressed about having a wedding less than 4 months away and the entire team: Lissa Anne, Ayanna and Bea, were so welcoming and patient. They managed to make the impossible quite possible, as Lissa was kind enough to give me an appointment right then and there, during her lunch time and to make matters even better, she was very supportive and immediately understood my needs and wants, and found me a beautiful dress, perfect for my body type and within my budget in record time. I tried 3 dresses on, and was in and out of the boutique in 45 minutes, happy and excited about my new wedding dress.
Initially I was nervous, since I had been to another boutique where the environment was hostile, the staff was unpleasant and prices were over the top. Thankfully, Flares Bridal and Lissa have made this process enjoyable and painless, truly heaven sent. I hope you give them a chance and see for yourself, you won't regret it!

Flare’s Bridal was the first dress shop I went dress shopping at (out of 4 bridal shops) and boy… should I have went here last. because after every shop I went to, no other dress shopping experience compared to my experience here with Lisa! she set the bar high for the other stylists. she is the SWEETEST stylist — so welcoming, kind, and personable, yet also honest when providing feedback on which dresses she found most flattering on me.
i initially had a vision of what i always dreamed of wearing to my wedding until Lisa recommended a completely different style that i JUST FELL IN LOVE with. when i told her what i initially wanted in a wedding dress, she allowed me to choose some dresses myself. she then chose even more flattering, beautiful gowns for me to try on. Lisa really takes the time to listen to what you like and dislike. her expertise in bridal gowns shines when you work with her and she even plays around with different tasteful veils and accessories. she’s also very aware of what’s in trend at the moment.
Lisa was extremely easy to work with throughout the whole process and even accommodated my big bridal party of 8 guests, even though the store’s rules technically only allow 5 guests max.
in terms of the store itself — the store has so much natural lighting which came in handy!
i highly recommend shopping at Flare’s Bridal for the dress of your dreams! ask for Lisa! THANK YOU LISA! :)

I can't say enough good things about my experience buying my wedding dress at Flares! I came to Flares in 2019 to find my dress and had the incredible pleasure of working with the sales associate at the time -- I believe her name was Michelle. She made me feel so welcomed and special during my shopping experience. As a bride with a disability who uses a wheelchair, one of my biggest fears when shopping for my wedding dress was that the sales associates would be awkward and uncomfortable around me (which was definitely my experience at other bridal shops I went to first). Michelle and the other people working at Flares treated me like any other bride in terms of the shopping experience, but were more than happy to take that extra step in the service and support they provided when I needed it. Sometimes, as a person with a disability, I have to settle for the bare minimum when it comes to inclusion with customer service. This was not at all the case with Michelle at Flares! Not only did I genuinely feel like she was treating me the way she would treat any other bride, but I felt comfortable asking for any extra help I needed. At other bridal shops, they insisted that I have someone besides the sales associate helping me get into the dresses, but Michelle was a total champ and helped me by herself.
I was one of the unlucky brides whose wedding was originally scheduled in 2020 -- Flares was so accommodating and worked with me to keep my dress safe until I could pick it up and then still cleaning and pressing it 3 years later when I was finally able to have my wedding! I genuinely hope I get to buy another dress here (for a vow renewal! Not a new marriage lol) just so I can have that experience all over again!

My experience with Flares was great!! I started looking for bridal boutiques pretty early on because I knew bridal dresses could take a few months to make. Rae was extremely helpful in helping me look for a dress as I let her know my vision of what I wanted. She gave me a lot of options to try and it wasn’t until I found my dress that I knew it was the one. As soon as I tried it on I knew and as soon as my mom and bridesmaids saw it everyone agreed it was the one. She found the perfect Veil to match the dress and it was such a relief to check off that box. The dress was beautiful and perfectly in my budget. Selection and tailoring are topnotch
By the time I went to flares in Walnut Creek, I had already been to three other bridal stores and purchased a sample size of a large layered tulle skirt that I fell in love with and bought from a place in Canada. I needed a dress to go with the skirt was feeling uncertain and overwhelmed. The staff quickly pulled four great alternatives and I bought one off the rack. At the time I was about a US size 12 and I had nine months until my wedding day and in that time I dropped almost 50 pounds. It was amazing the skill and care of tailoring to bring it down to a US size 4, and it fit like a glove. It matched the skirt perfectly and I looked like a million bucks on wedding day. I highly recommend this shop because there are so many beautiful styles, the staff is knowledgeable and friendly and there are so many off the rack.

Everything was great from the start! Lissa welcomed me right away. She asked so many clarifying questions, wasn't pushy and was so helpful. She took several pictures and videos for me. She let me walk around and pick dresses that I liked when I first got there. I gave her a sample picture of what I liked and she immediately pulled a dress that looked very similar.
Their dresses are absolutely stunning. I'm so in love with mine.

I had the absolute BEST experience at Flares! After going to multiple wedding dress boutiques I was struggling on finding the right dress!
Flares staff was SO patient with my many preferences. They were HONEST when it came to styles and looks of a dress on me which I APPRECIATED. Instead of a sales person saying "everything looks greats" just to make a sale really irritated me at other boutiques, but flares had such great input with my body type.
They put in a rush order for my dress free of charge (my fault for waiting so long). They really do have the best customer service and the BEST dress selection! SO happy I got my dress here! :)

I just went to flares early February and had the best experience! It was my first bridal store so I had no idea what to expect or what questions to ask and everything was seamless, easy and I felt 100% comfortable with my consultant, Rey. She saw my inspo pics, grabbed a number of dresses for me to try and said I’ll never know what I truly like until I just keep trying on dresses which we did.
I ended up getting the second dress I tried on!! (Still tried on about 4 more just to be sure) and I didn’t feel pressured at all which was great. There was another bride who had the same time appointment as I did with another consultant and she also said yes to her dress!
The appointment you do have to pay for, but it goes towards your dress and is I think a 45 min appt? Not sure what is standard. There was another bridal store down the street that I had an appt for but cancelled because I found my dress at flares and was completely in love and have zero regrets.
I received a call in May that my dress arrived and I was so happy that it came in so much sooner than expected! I scheduled my first fitting this past Friday and again, everything went smoothly and the staff is incredibly welcoming and so kind.
I highly recommend stopping by Flares to view their huge selection of dresses!

I had a wonderful experience finding the dress for me! Ray gave an incredible amount of help and support while trying to find the right dress for me in such a short amount of time! The environment was incredibly welcoming and comforting. Would highly recommend going to Flares Bridal for your wedding dress! Not 1 but 2 dresses! 😍
I made the decision to come to Flares a few months ago after obsessing over their all their stunning dresses online and I’m so glad that I did. Ray and her team made my shopping experience a breeze. I ended up finding my dream dress off the rack during a sample sale putting me way under budget so I thought, heck why not get two!? The associate helped pull two gowns and I fell in love with the first one I tried on. She was able to take my vision and pull something that matched it perfectly. I just went in for my first alterations appt and was super nervous about the cost since my sample dress is several sizes bigger. I was pleasantly surprise at not only how fast the alterations would happen but how cost efficient they turned out to be. Ray and her team have been so patient and attentive through this entire process and I’ve never felt like I was being sold anything. They really make your vision and happiness their #1 priority. I have a few newly engaged girlfriends and have every intention of brining them to Flares!

Dream Experience
Flares Bridal was the absolute best place to find my wedding dress. From the moment I walked in the door, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Lissa was a dream to work with. She was so helpful in making sure she asked all the right questions in order to understand what I was looking for in a wedding dress. She understood my vision and preferences and floated through the store selecting wonderful options for me to try on. Her patience with me was much appreciated, as I did try a few on more than once. She made me feel beautiful in every dress.
The gorgeous selection of dresses is quite extensive so you can find the dress of your dreams. The atmosphere is very comfortable and inviting. It is also fun to be there with other future brides going through the same process.
I am so grateful to Lissa for her exceptional service and helping me find my dream dress. I highly recommend choosing Flares Bridal when searching for wedding dress.

Wedding dress!!! 👰
I was there a few weeks ago to find the perfect dress for my big day, and I did! The staff was so sweet and accommodating with my needs, the lady that helped me out she understood the style I was looking for and gave me all the options I had. I didn’t need to go to other stores, I said yes to my dress at Flares the same day I went to try them on for the first time.
Their service is just great, it’s a whole experience!
Since my wedding is just in a few months, they helped me get everything ready on time.
I highly recommend Flares!!!

I had a wonderful experience trying on dresses at Flares. Cynthia was very friendly and accommodating. She made me feel comfortable to be honest about what I was looking for and she ensured that I would find the one. She didn't make me feel pressured to make a decision and was patient enough to even entertain my family's dress requests. I honestly did not expect to find my dress but I did!

A coworker recommended Flares to me after her and her friends got their dresses here. I have loved my experience with them! The shop itself is so cute, bright, and inviting. All the help I have received is great. The owners, sisters, are great and very helpful. They have made me feel super comfortable and supported in the process. Great Experience
I had a great experience at Flares picking out my wedding dress! I had visited a few other bridal shops before finding out about Flares, and Flares definitely had the best selection. Lissa was also so nice and incredibly helpful. I just had my first fitting, and it makes it so easy that they do their alterations in-house. Flares Bridal is an absolute gem in the world of bridal boutiques! The staff's warmth and professionalism made me feel instantly at ease during what could have been a stressful process. The consultants at Flares Bridal are not only knowledgeable about their extensive selection of gowns but also incredibly attentive to their clients' needs and preferences.
Their in-house seamstress made the alteration process a breeze - she took the time to ensure that my gown fit me like a glove while remaining both attentive and receptive throughout the process.

Wonderful every step of the way!
I bought my dress back in June of last year and Lissa made my experience everything I wanted it to be! Just a few inspiration photos, and she put me in MY dress, the very first one I tried on! I thought I was crying because it was my first time ever in a wedding gown, but nope, it was because Lissa saw my vision and made it a reality. Since then I have been in for two fittings and everyone has been nothing but pleasant and accommodating. Wedding dresses, alterations, and everything that goes along with weddings is not cheap, but Lissa and everyone at Flares has helped to reduce costs wherever they have seen an opportunity for me to save money. Living on a teacher's salary, this is HUGE and helps so much to make my dreams come alive without breaking my budget. I cannot say thank you enough times to this team! I would 10/10 recommend to anyone!

Amazing experience!
I loved my experience with Flares Bridal! Everyone there was so sweet and accommodating. They were extremely helpful with answering my questions and getting a sense of what type of dress I wanted on my big day. I had an entirely different vision when I first came into the store but ended up leaving with something that was better than I could imagine! From start to finish my wedding dress shopping experience was flawless. The two sisters make the process so fun and stress free. Love the quality dresses and the service!!
After visiting a few bridal shops in the bay area and wasn't getting lucky finding a dress I love I started asking around my work and it turned out 3 of my nurse coworkers bought their dresses from Flares. I called the shop and the person who answered was very polite, answered all my questions and directed me to book my appointment using their website which was so easy.
The day of my appointment I was paired with one of the owners Lisa and I am so glad she was my stylist. She asked me a couple of questions and gave me a few minutes to look around. She asissted me put on the 4 dresses that I picked and listened to my feedback then she pulled more dresses for me to try. The first dress she picked for me by Alena Leena was my dream dress!! It had everything I was hoping for and more. I can't believe the price for the quality of the dress. This shop stocks so many beautiful dresses that are hand made in Europe with beautiful fabrics and high quality. The day of my wedding I got tons of compiments. Thank you Flares

There were no sleazy salesman gimmicks or pressure to buy the most expensive option. Everyone was incredibly nice and professional. I felt like they truly just wanted me to get the dress I loved most. Every dress is stunning! The designs are unique and gorgeous. The quality is superb. I easily found a dress better than I could ever dream of. I appreciated their option to order the dress custom to the bride's size. When I picked up my dress, it did not need a single alteration. I would recommend Flares to future brides! As a June 2022 bride, I am happy to have found my dream dress at Flares and was very happy with the process. Ray helped my sister find her wedding dress back in 2014 and it was such a treat to work with Ray for my wedding as well! Ray is so sweet and it comforting and honest as well, which I appreciated when trying to find the right dress, size etc.
The showroom is a great experience not only as a bride but for my sisters or guests that attended visits/ fittings with me. I also had my dress alterations done through Flares which I was happy with, and they were patient and helpful as it took a couple tries to get the alterations how I wanted it to fit. Flares was communicative and organized through the ordering and fitting process, I felt in great hands leading up to the big day. Not to mention, I still love my dress looking back at photos and I am so happy to have worked with Ray and the Flares team!

Lissa is the best wedding Dress Designer
My experience at Flares bridal shop was wonderful in so many ways. Lissa was amazing to work with and brought comfort, fun, ease, and joy to finding a wedding dress. Her knowledge, experience, expertise, and compassion were appreciated. Lissa was so supportive, helpful, patient, and everything I could ask for in a bridal stylist. She is the best at what she does and knows how to make every bride feel and look fabulous! Lissa immediately got me and knew what I was looking for in a dress. She had a wide range selection. We tried on about 10 dresses ending with me saying Yes to the Dress! Thank you, Lissa! It was such a beautiful experience!
